A/N: Please read and review?
In Cody's penthouse, Mikey was in the room of artifacts, playing with action figures of Dr. Malignus, Silver Sentry and the other members of the Justice Force. He hit the Mailgnus figure with Silver Sentry's, making it turn slightly, before he pulled Sentry's back.
"You're finished, Malignus." he said with a tough voice.
He hit the Mailgnus figure with the Sentry one, as the other Turtles all came in.
"Curse you, Silver Sentry and Justice Force. Curse you all!" he cursed, with a cold voice.
"Playing with dollies while we're doing chores." Raph said, as he and the others stopped. "Shoulda guessed."
"They're not dollies, they're highly articulated action figures." Mikey argued, getting up and turning around. "Very collectible. All of our old stuff is."
Leo, Cath and Donnie all walked over to an open trunk.
"Wow, Casey and April must have saved all this stuff after we left." Leo said, before he picked up a wooden sword. "My first wooden practice sword."
"Aww, the first shell cell." Donnie said, picking it up, which resembled an old walkie talkie.
"And my surviving medical book." Cath said, picking it up. "In mint condition to keep it safe."
"Yeah, kinda makes you miss the old lair, doesn't it?" Mikey said, coming up behind them, wrapping his arms around Leo and Cath.
"Yeah?" Raph said, snatching the Silver Sentry figure from Mikey.
"Hey!" Mikey complained.
"Well, I say getting all misty about the past is just another way for Mikey to get out of work." Raph said.
"I'm with Raph here." Elisa said, standing on his left. "You need to learn to pull your own weight around here, Mikey."
Mikey tried to grab his action figure, but Raph turned and ran to his left.
"Hey, give me back my super poseable, highly collectible action figures!" he demanded.
He swept his left foot out and kicked Raph's feet, making him stumble back, as the action figure went flying into the air. Raph hit a stand with an Utrom Exo-Suit on, which began rocking back and forth, as the action figure began to fall.
"AH!" Mikey screamed.
He dived onto his belly and caught it with bot hands.
"On your left, guys!" Donnie said.
Leo and Cath ran over to the Exo-Suit as it toppled forward, before they both caught it - Leo by the chest, Cath the legs - before they both spun around while holding it, causing it to kick Casey's hockey mask away.
"On your right, Don!" Leo called.
Donnie leap and caught Casey's mask, before he hit and slid across the floor, and slammed into a bookcase. A book fell from the top shelf and bounced off his head
"Ah!" he yelped, before it landed on the floor in front of him. "Whoa. Guys."
On the cover of the book was the word 'Journal' and a group picture of the Turtles, Casey and April.
"It's the journal." Donnie said.
"Journal? Casey and April's journal?" Raph inquired, as he, Mikey and Elisa approached him.
"The journal Cody read and how he found out about us?" Elisa inquired.
"As in the journal we're never, ever supposed to read?" Mikey asked.
"Because it contains entries about our entire lives, even the parts we haven't lived yet?" Donnie said, picking it up. "Stuff that happens to us after we get back from 2105."
"Me first!" Mikey said, snatching the journal.
He sat down and opened it up, when a light came on.
"That would be most unwise, my children." came Splinter's voice.
They all saw him standing in the doorway, before Mikey shoved the journal in Donnie's face.
"Ow!" he yelped.
"Yeah, Donny. For shame." he said, before Elisa slapped the back of his head. "OW!"
"You're the one who wants to read it, goofball!" Elisa snarled.
"Reading the contents of that book would mean certain doom." Splinter explained sternly. "My children, I know you are curious, but having knowledge of the future will only lead to catastrophe."
He turned as a loud noise like thunder came about.
"Must you do that?" he asked.
He saw Serling and Cody in the doorway, Serling cutting off spotlights from his shoulders, which had shined on the Turtles and made the thunder noises.
"Apologies. I thought the moment demanded a little theatricality." Serling reasoned.
"Master Splinter's right, guys." Cody said, approaching the Turtles.
He took the journal from Donnie.
"Trust me, I've been dying to talk to you about what's in this book, but I know that if I told you about what happens to you, once you get back to your time your whole lives could be drekked." Cody reasoned.
"But, Cody, scientists theorize that there may be more than one future, depending upon what choices each of us makes along the way." Donnie argued.
"Precisely my point, Donatello." Splinter said. "You will make choices based upon what you read in the journal. Choices that you would not otherwise make without learning the knowledge contained therein."
Mikey began whistling as he sneaked off behind Splinter, before he dashed past Cody and snatched the journal.
"Ah!" Cody gasped.
"If Cody-san can show restraint, the least you can do is show the same." Splinter stated.
Mikey sat crossed legged on the floor, opening up the journal, then began to read it.
"Michelangelo!" Splinter scowled, whacking his head with his stick.
He grabbed the journal and walked away with it.
"Uh, okay. Future knowledge is a no-no." Mikey said, rubbing his forehead, before waving his right forefinger. "I get it."
He got up and turned around, before the Turtles all left the room, looking sad and uneasy.
"Why the long faces? I'll tell you your future. First you'll clean that mess in the hangar, then the portents tell me the toilets will shine." Serling said, as they walked past him.
Splinter handed Cody the journal.
"Should I lock this thing away somewhere, Master Splinter?" Cody asked.
"No, that will not be necessary. Should my sons decide not to heed our warning..." Splinter began, as Cody put the journal back on the bookshelf. "...they will have to learn their lesson the hard way."
That night, during a thunderstorm, Serling was dusting a wall in the hallway to the room of artifacts, humming as he moved down it. He past by an open doorway, when Raph came out of the shadows behind him, before he dashed off. He peered around the corner into the room, before he rolled into it, then ran towards the bookcase. He pulled the journal out, when the light came on, making him turn.
"Ah!" he gasped.
He shoved the journal back into the shelf, then held his arms out, pretending to be sleepwalking.
"Save it, Raph." Leo said, leaning against the wall with the light switch, his arms folded. "Seems we all had the same problem sleeping. Isn't that right, Donatello?"
He pointed at the Foot Shrednaut, making Raph turn to it, seeing Donnie was perched on top of it.
"Okay, I'm busted." he sighed.
He hopped down from it, landed with his hands on one of the legs, then he hopped off it and landed on his feet, just as Cath entered the room.
"Ah, you guys too?" she said.
Th boys all turned to her as she ran over, when Elisa popped out from behind the Shell-Sub modal.
"Okay, you guys couldn't sleep either?" she asked, coming over.
"No. That journal is all I've been thinking about." Donnie said.
"Yeah, it's like I know I shouldn't know, but I gotta know. You know?" Raph said.
"I do. Guess we're all partners in crime now." Leo said, folding his arms. "But, we're missing a partner."
"Yeah, where is that goofball?" Elisa questioned, putting her hand on her chin.
"Okay, Mikey, where are you?" Leo called.
The trunk behind them all popped open, with Mikey springing out.
"Surprise! I'm in disguise. I'm a box turtle. Get it?" he asked, jokingly.
"More like a 'jerk-in-the-box'." Raph retorted, annoyed slightly.
Leo turned and grabbed the journal from the bookshelf, before he turned to the others.
"Well, if we're gonna do this, let's do this together." he said, holding it out.
The others all touched the journal and opened it up together.
"This first section is by Casey." Leo said.
"How can you tell?" Raph inquired.
"Root beer and burger stains, and every other word is misspelled." Leo explained.
"Oh, that makes sense. Casey was never a good speller like April." Elisa recalled.
"'It was coming up on a month after the guys pulled their big….'" Leo read.
(The story)
In the Turtles Lair beneath Central Park, April and Casey were looking around, April holding a scanner.
Casey: …big disappearing act and we were starting to lose it. I mean, a world without the guys? Forget about it.
"Yes, look, Casey. The temporal readings are getting stronger." April said, looking at it.
The entire lair suddenly began to shake
"Ah!" Casey yelped.
"Casey!" April gasped, as they fell to their knees.
"Ah!" they yelped, falling onto their chests, April dropping the scanner.
They both got to their knees as a portal opened up, before Leo and Splinter dived through it, followed by Raph and Mikey - who somersaulted forward - then Elisa and Cath, all landing crouched down. Donnie then came out, landing on his hands, before he flipped forward into a crouch position, then got up as everyone else stared at him, before he turned around as the portal closed.
"And that, gentlemen, is how you kick space and time in the…." Donnie began.
"Guys!" Casey and April said.
They both laughed and ran towards them, as they all turned to them.
"Whoa." Donnie said.
"Yeah!" Cath said.
"Casey! April!" Mikey said happily. "All right!"
"Heh, heh, Casey!" Raph said.
"April!" Elisa said.
Mikey ran over and hugged April
"We missed you so much!" she said, as Donnie hugged Casey. "Don't ever scare us like that again?"
Donnie pulled away as Raph came over, who began punching Casey playfully.
Casey: Without a doubt it was the happiest day of my life.
Raph stopped punching Casey, as the Turtles and Splinter looked at their friends.
Good thing, too, 'cause it wasn't too long before everything went straight to shell.
(The penthouse)
Leo kept reading the journal as the other Turtles stood near him.
"'It was so great to have the guys back and for a while, things were back to all cool all the time. But one night, things took a very strange turn.'" he read.
(The story)
The Turtles and Casey were all running along the rooftops in the city, the Turtles still with their futuristic weapons.
"Home sweet home. Man, I never thought I could actually miss the stench of Chelsea on garbage night." Raph said, jumping up to a higher rooftop.
Casey followed him, as Raph jumped onto another rooftop, with the other Turtles right behind him.
"Well, you didn't lose your gift for poetry, Raph." Casey joked.
They both stopped and turned as the others joined them, first Mikey, then Elisa, Cath, Donnie, and then Leo, who all landed on the rooftop entrance.
"Hey, so tell me, what happens to me in the future?" Casey asked curiously. "I get my own hockey team, mayor of New York, president of the ever-loving USA?"
Mikey jumped down towards him.
"Dude, Master Splinter says revealing knowledge of the future is like strictly forbidden." he said, as Donnie and Cath sat down, while Leo and Elisa crouched down. "We can't just tell you what's gonna happen."
A booming noise made them all turn, seeing Silver Sentry flying overhead.
"Hey, Silver Sentry! All right!" Donnie said.
"Wonder where he's off too?" Cath said.
Michelangelo grabs Casey's arms and turns him.
"What's the date?" Mikey asked, grabbing Casey and making him turn to him. "Tell me!"
"The 13th. Why? You got a hot date? Huh?" Casey asked.
Mikey turned around and ran off quickly.
Casey: Who knew how smart I was? Mikey did have a date – with destiny.
Mikey jumped off the rooftop.
Later, in a warehouse, Silver Sentry was tied and hanging from a rope, that was attached to a multi-armed large robot, as Dr. Malignus approached him.
Casey: Because he knew from reading this journal in the future that Silver Sentry needed him tonight.
"Finally, after years of humiliating defeat at your hand, Silver Sentry falls." Dr. Malignus declared, as most of the robots arms clipped its claws like a crab.
Suddenly, Mikey - in his Turtle Titan suit - came bursting in through the glass of the skylight
"Not today, Malignus!" he yelled, landing in front of him.
"Toady Titan, no!" Dr. Malignus gasped.
Silver Sentry grinned.
Mikey shot three exploding Shurikens at the robot from his wrist gauntlet, hitting several of its arms, which exploded and freed Silver Sentry.
"Uh!" he groaned, hitting the floor on his chest.
"That's Turtle Titan, nimrod!" Mikey said, getting in front of him. "A blast from your past with greetings from the future."
He brought out one of his Nunchucks, stretching it out, then he flung one end of it like a whip, wrapping around Dr. Malignus' left leg.
"What?!" he gasped, before a shock went through the Nunchuck. "AHH!"
His body lit up, before Mikey turned and threw him across the room, hitting the wreckage of the robot, out cold.
"Turtle Titan! How did you know I was in trouble?" Silver Sentry asked, as Mikey came over.
Mikey activated a laser on his gauntlet, cutting the binds around Silver Sentry, freeing him.
"Um, my turtle sense was tingling?" Mikey lied, helping Silver Sentry up.
"Good thing, too. This wasn't just about me." Silver Sentry said. "The entire Justice Force is in danger. Shall we save the day together, partner?"
"Shell, yeah!" Mikey said.
Silver Sentry wrapped an arm around Mikey and flew upwards, breaking through of the roof of the building.
"I mean, yes, sir. Heh, heh." Mikey chuckled, as Silver Sentry flew them over the city.
Across the city, by the river's edge, the other members of the Justice Force were battling against an unseen enemy on top of a tall tower. Small explosions went off at the top of the tower, as Nano shot nanobots at him, while Tsunami kept water on him. Metalhead deflected blasts with his metal hair near Ananda - who was in her domebot, firing blasts from it - while Chrysalis flew off, and Nobody jumped up onto the roof's entrance. Chrysalis fired beams from her hands at the enemy, before she got hit by a blast.
"AH!" she moaned.
She hit the ground on near chest near Ananda, as Nobody stopped behind her, who turned to him.
"We can't keep this up much longer. Where is Sentry?" Nobody questioned.
"I can't believe we were snookered by him!" Ananda frowned, pointing at a smokescreen.
The smoke began to clear, showing a gigantic, diapered baby hovering in mid-air on an armored robotic baby seat. He took out his pacifier from his mouth to speak.
"Big Bad Binky Boy don't want to play no more. Dr. Malignus says for me to give you a timeout." he said.
He blasted the roof in front of Tsunami and Nano, knocking them both down. He kept firing at them, before Mikey landed in front of the pair, with a shield from his gauntlet. Binky Boy stopped firing as Mikey stood up and looked at him.
"Gah!" he gasped. "Normally, I'm not this mean, but that is one ugly baby."
Silver Sentry landed behind him, as Tsunami, Nano and Chrysalis got up.
"Careful, Titan." Silver Sentry advised. "Binky Boy uses alien technology to…."
"What's he gonna do, drool on me?" Mikey scoffed.
"Silver Sentry and big froggy? No fair!" Binky Boy whined.
"Consider this baby spanked, partner." Mikey said, taking out one of his Nunchucks, before he leapt forward.
"Wait! We should coordinate!" Silver Sentry said.
Mikey landed in front of Binky Boy.
"Bad froggy!" Binky Boy whined.
He aimed and shot a laser from his pacifier, but Mikey spun his Nunchuck above him, making the beam bounce off it, hitting the members of the Justice Force.
"AHHH!" they screamed, as their bodies lit up.
"It's bedtime, Binky Boy!" Mikey grinned, before he turned to his friends. "Justice Force…ah! No! What have I done?"
The Justice Force were all frozen by the beam, before he turned back to Binky Boy, enraged. He threw his Nunchuck into a glass dome at the bottom of the baby seat, which shattered, making the seat lose power.
"Ah!" Binky Boy screamed.
Mikey jumped backwards slightly as the chair hit the rooftop, putting Binky Boy on his chest.
"Baby fall down, go boom. Waah!" Binky Boy cried, tears in his eyes.
"Huh?" Mikey muttered, turning around as he heard more crying.
He saw all the members of the Justice Force had been turned into babies, even Nano was just a robot.
"AHHH!" Mikey screamed, horrified by what he'd done.
"The greatest heroes of all time..."
(The penthouse)
Mikey sat down, with his arms folded on his knees, not believing what he'd found out.
"...turned into drooling, pooping, thumb suckers 'cause of me?" he said, touching his chest.
"Because we read this journal." Leo corrected.
"I'm actually shocked myself." Cath admitted. "To find out what happens to our friends."
"Yeah. Talk about freaky, being turned into rugrats." Elisa shuddered.
Raph walked over to Leo and peeked at the journal.
"Look, next part's about you, but you're not gonna read it. Gonna walk the high path, right?" he mocked.
"Right. So, you read it." Leo said, handing him the journal. "I-I'll just listen."
"'It wasn't exactly how I planned to start a family….'" Raph read.
(The story)
April sat in a chair in her apartment above her shop, writing in the journal, as the Justice Force babies all sat in front of her. Tsunami played keep-away with Metalhead, while Chrysalis created a forcefield around her, while Ananda jumped up and down on a pillow.
"…a family, but here we are. I've been so busy I've hardly had time to write..." she thought.
Silver Sentry fired a beam at Chrysalis, stopping her, then she fired one back at him, before he fired back.
"...and there's so much to tell. The guys weren't back a week before Leo was called to Japan by the mighty Ninja Tribunal."
In the Lap of the Gods, Leo stood before the fountain, as the Ninja Tribunal all looked down at him, as he bowed.
"You have been asked to return so that we may fully train you in the ancient arts as a Master, Leonardo, son of Splinter." Juto said.
Leo straightened up.
"This is the greatest of all possible honors." Kon explained.
"Congratulations. The two of you begin training immediately." Chikara explained.
"Two of us?" Leo questioned, puzzled.
"Konnichiwa, Leonardo-san." came a familiar voice.
Leo turned and saw Karai standing in the doorway.
"It is good to see you again." she said, approaching him.
"Karai?" Leo said, shocked.
He turned back to the Tribunal, as Karai stopped on his left.
"Hmm?" he muttered.
Later, in the Spirt Forge Chamber, Chikara was spinning her Kanabō around above her head, before she rested it on her shoulder, when Leo came in behind her.
"You should be meditating, acolyte." Chikara said, spinning it around once, then bent down and held it on her left hand, before she held it above her, then crouched down and pointed it forward.
"I know, but, Chikara-Shisho, I-I have knowledge that there is a traitor among us." Leo explained. "Here, in the temple. A prophecy."
Chikara stood upright, thinking.
"It said someone would threaten the tribunal from within." Leo explained.
"Prophecy is a powerful thing, Leonardo, but it can be misinterpreted. Have faith in the Tribunal and set your visions aside until you have the skills to interpret them properly." Chikara instructed.
"Hmm?" Leo muttered.
Later, in the courtyard, Leo and Karai were sparring together with their swords.
"A traitor? Here?" Karai said, as they slashed their swords together once. "Impossible, Leonardo."
She blocked a slash from Leo's right sword with her own.
"History doesn't lie." Leo retorted, as Karai blocked two more slashes from him, getting her sword locked with his right one. "I read it myself in Casey's journal."
"But who? You and I are the only acolytes and the Shredder is long gone." Karai said.
"But his daughter isn't." Leo retorted.
Karai gasped and tried to slash him, but missed, then she kicked him down angrily.
"After all that we have been through, I sincerely hope that was just idle theory." she said.
She turned around and walked off, as Leo pulled himself up.
Later, Leo and Karai were both in the Spirt Forge chamber with Kon, holding their swords.
April: But it wasn't.
Leo and Karai both held two swords, doing kata moves with them, as Kon observed.
It was cold logic...
They held their left swords out and their right in front of them, then held their left across from them, and their right up.
...to Leo.
They both bent down and held their swords up, before slashing their right swords out.
The Tribunal was above suspicion, but Karai, she had been the Shredder once.
Leo turned to Karai as they held their right swords in front of them, and their left behind them.
One night, Leo was meditating by the fire in his chamber, which was like the one he and his family had stayed in during their training with the Tribunal.
April: If there was a traitor, it had to be her. Leo tried to purge himself of these thoughts, but he couldn't.
"Hmm?" Leo muttered.
Another day, Leo and Karai walked down a path, carrying Hisomi as he stood on their hands.
April: He obsessed on Karai; watching, waiting for her to strike, until….
Later, Leo crept down a corridor, leaning against a wall, before he peeked through a partially opened door, seeing Karai kneeling before a table a box was on.
"It will happen – tonight." she said, before she picked up the Shredder's helmet. "Father."
Leo growled and kicked open the door, pulling out his swords as he did so.
"I knew it!" he said.
She jumped and dived towards Karai, who turned to him.
"Leonardo, no!" she said.
She dropped the helmet and pulled out her swords, before they both crashed through a window and into the courtyard below. They both landed crouched down, staring at each other.
"Have you gone mad?" Karai exclaimed.
"I know what I saw, traitor." Leo growled.
Karai swung both her swords down, but Leo sliced them up with his own, then kicked her chest, knocking her onto her back.
"Uh!" she moaned.
Leo held his right sword at her face as she sat up.
"Leonardo! Lay down your arms at once!" Chikara demanded.
Leo turned as all four members of the Ninja Tribunal leapt down behind him.
"Karai is the traitor." he explained. "She has the Shredder's helmet and tonight…"
Karai got up as Chikara approached them both.
"Tonight she is finally going to lay that demon to rest in a burial ceremony." Chikara stated, producing the helmet with magic, making it float in front of her. "It was here that the Shredder came to power, and it is here that his daughter will finally be free of his legacy."
"But the prophecy?" Leo said, confused, bowing his head.
"Yes, Leonardo, your prophecy has been fulfilled." Chikara said. "Someone has threatened the Tribunal from within. You!"
"Ah!" Leo gasped, looking up.
"You have fulfilled your own prophecy, and for your arrogance, you are exiled from this temple." Chikara declared, as the helmet vanished.
She turned and walked off with the rest of the Tribunal, with Karai right behind them.
(The penthouse)
"Wait, wait, wait?" Leo said, snatching the journal from Raph. " That can't be right."
"The journal can't be all gloom and doom, right?" Donnie said hopefully.
"Guess anything's possible." Cath sighed, before she looked over Leo's shoulder. "Hey, Elisa, the next bit's about you."
"Me?" Elisa said.
"That's what it says." Cath said, taking the journal from Leo.
"Well, tell me?" Elisa asked. "I have a feeling I'm not as stupid as Leo and Mikey."
"Sure thing, sis." Cath said, before she began to read. "Once Elisa had come back, she was..."
(The story)
Elisa ran along a rooftop, before she jumped up to a higher one.
Casey: ...to see what had changed during her time away.
She ran to the edge of the rooftop, then jumped off it and landed crouched down on a flagpole, before she looked around.
"Well, I see things are the same since before I left." she said. "No flying vehicles, no aliens around, no high-tech neon or weapons."
She jumped off the flagpole and landed on a smaller rooftop.
She thought everything was fine at first...
Elisa ran along the rooftop, but then stopped and stared down an alley.
...until she saw something wrong one night.
She looked down and saw two small groups of four men each meeting. She jumped off the rooftop and landed on a nearby fire escape to get a better look, and saw one of the groups was made up of Purple Dragons - including Fang - while the other group wore business suits.
"Well, what do we have here?" she thought.
She jumped down from the fire escape and landed behind a dumpster.
Casey: She'd stumbled upon something that...
She peeked out from behind the dumpster, seeing Fang and one of the men holding a suitcase each.
...got her curious, as she read about it in the journal, and she saw what looked like a meeting going on...
Fang and the man opened up their briefcases, Fang's showing money, while the man's had alien blasters in.
...only to find it wasn't just a meeting...
"What the shell?" Elisa gasped, quietly.
...it was a buy for alien weapons to the Purple Dragons scum.
"So, do we have a deal?" Fang asked.
"Oh, yes." the man said, before they shook hands.
It was just like she read about.
"Wait, the journal told me about this." Elisa muttered. "Well, I can't let those thugs use alien tech like that. Geez, I sound like Mikey."
She jumped out from behind the dumpster and landed on a nearby car hood in a three-point stance.
Knowing what was coming was bad, she decided to stop it...
She jumped up high and took out her Kamas, before she dived down.
...and prevent the scum from getting their hands on the weapons.
"YAHH!" she yelled.
Fang and the others all turned as she landed between him and the dealer man, shocking them.
"Why, hello there." she smirked.
"It's one of the Turtles!" Fang gasped.
"Oh, so you've noticed." Elisa smirked, before she jumped and kicked him with both feet.
"AHH!" he yelled, flying away, before he hit the ground on his back. "Uh!"
"Get her!" the dealer ordered.
Elisa smirked, then she jumped and split kicked two of his men, sending them flying away, knocking them out.
"OH!" they moaned.
Elisa turned and slashed her right Kama out, sending a beam which hit all three Purple Dragons, knocking them down.
After a small fight with the goons...
She turned to the last two goons, then she jumped and somersaulted forward, before kicking them both in the chest.
...Elisa took the case...
"OH!" the thugs moaned, hitting a wall.
...of weapons, and took it with her.
Elisa put her Kamas away and ran over to the weapons case, before picking it up.
"Nobody's getting their hands on this." she said, before she turned and ran off.
A little later, Elisa was near the harbor of the East River.
"It's best if this is at the bottom of the river." she said.
She threw the case towards the river, which sank upon impact.
After getting rid of the weapons, she began to make her way home, when something happened.
Elisa turned and walked off, when a beam hit her, making her look up.
"Huh? What the shell?" she exclaimed.
She raised her left arm up to cover her eyes, as she got sucked upwards by the light, which was coming from a spaceship.
Elisa soon found herself trapped inside a floating space station, operated by space pirates, made up of all sorts of aliens, including a few Triceratons with tattoos on their faces.
Elisa was trapped inside that space station for over a year before she managed to escape.
Later, Elisa flew a smaller spaceship through outer space, before it came down towards Earth.
When she got back however...
She soon walked away from the spaceship in Central Park.
...she found out that because she got rid of the weapons...
Once outside the park, she saw a bunch of Purple Dragons shooting it out with other thugs from other gangs, including alien gangs.
...she'd unintentionally started a gang war.
Elisa gasped and covered her mouth in horror.
The worst of them all, as gangs from humans and other alien spices all fought each other for years.
(The present)
"Wait, hold up? I caused a gang war?" Elisa questioned.
"That's what it says." Cath said, pointing at the page.
"Man. I can't believe it." Elisa said.
"I know. It's like there's nothing but negative stuff in here for us." Cath said.
"Well, I already know you and I did something positive, Cath." Donnie said, taking the journal from her. "We helped build O'Neil Tech. 'Donatello hit the ground running when he got back. He had a million ideas to explore...'"
(The story)
In a large workroom in the lair, was a large-ball shaped device atop a table, with several cables running into it. April and Donnie, both were lab coats and safety lenses, were working on the device, as Casey and Cath entered the room.
"...after seeing the future'."
"Cool, you guys fixed the washing machine? My vigilante pants are ripe." Casey said.
"Close, Case. It's a fusion generator." April explained, turning from him and Cath, to it.
"Like that one in Spider-Man 2?" Cath questioned, folding her arms.
"Sort of. I studied these in the future. Figured we could build one now." Donnie explained.
"Casey, hand me that frasmat, please?" April asked, pointing at it.
Casey grabbed the tool and brought it over.
"You got it." he said.
April took it and turned around, putting it against a panel on the fusion generator.
"Uh, you sure about this, Don?" Cath asked. "I mean, have you made sure it's safe?"
"Cath, we've triple checked everything." Donnie assured. "I'm the smartest after all."
"Not always." Cath mumbled, folding her arms.
Donnie and April backed away from the generator, as it fired up, then beacons of light shined out from all directions.
"We did it. We've created the world's first compact fusion generator." Donnie cheered happily.
"We rock so hard! Yeah!" Casey whooped, holding his left hand up.
The others turned and stared at him, before he looked at them.
"What? I handed you that frasi-stat thing, right?" Casey said.
Later, in the city, a crowd stood in front of a building bearing the name 'O'Neil Tech', watching a ribbon cutting ceremony. Behind the ribbon, were April, Casey, Donnie and Cath, all in suits, while the two Turtles wore hats, fake glasses, and Donnie a fake moustache.
April: Casey raised the capital to build more generators, while Don...
Donnie cut the ribbon as everyone else clapped.
...and I cranked out more inventions, and Cath sorted out the safety and rescue regulations.
An overview of the city showed traffic and pollution pouring out of smoke stacks.
The advent of the generator's clean power meant the end to Earth's energy crisis.
The scene changed to clean skies and flying vehicles, and futuristic buildings.
Oil and gas became a thing of the past.
Spaceships began to fly towards Earth, including an Utrom ship.
Alien races began arriving on Earth. Among them, many more Utroms.
The Utrom ship landed in the city, to a large crowd of humans.
Of course, our old friends were pleased to see humanity had finally caught up with their expectations.
A hatch on the ship opened up, before an Utrom walked out in his Exo-Suit.
Later, the Utrom ship flew through outer space, with Donnie on board.
As a congratulatory gesture, the Utroms offered Donatello a tour of the Universe.
"Whoa." Donnie said, amazed, looking around.
Of course, natural born explorer that he was, he jumped at the chance. It was the last time we ever saw him, which deeply upset Cath.
"AH!" Donnie gasped.
The Utrom ship began getting pounded by meteors during a meteor storm.
"AHH!" Donnie screamed.
A large meteorite slammed into the ship's bridge, destroying the entire ship.
The Utroms inside their Exo-Suits floated through space, as a forcefield was around them, allowing them to breathe.
The collision with the meteorite was terrible, but, thanks to Utrom technology...
One Utrom turned and pointed left.
...the crew survived.
They all approached Donnie, who floated unconscious nearby, but also protected by a forcefield.
Donatello was badly injured, but alive, if you call what happened next living.
(The penthouse)
"Say what?!" Donnie exclaimed, as his siblings gathered behind him.
(The story)
Inside a Utrom medical facility, which was full of stasis tubes like the one Splinter had been in when the Turtles first met the Utroms.
April: The Utroms rushed Don to their finest medical facility.
Inside one of the tubes, was Donnie's brain, which had his purple mask around, as an Utrom approached it.
"You were in a terrible, but our science is advanced enough to have you." the Utrom explained. Well, the important part."
The eye's on Donnie's mask widened, as though he could see have emotion.
"Oh, don't worry, we're not going to leave a revered genius lying around as a disembodied brain." the Utrom assured.
A metallic arm lifted the pod up and carried it over to a cloth covered table, where two more Utroms push into the room.
"Ah, here you are. Welcome to your new body." the first said.
He removed the cover from the table, showing a robotic body, which looked exactly like Serling.
"We call it…" the Utrom began.
(The penthouse)
"'The Serling unit'!" the Turtles read together.
"Gruesome!" Mikey said, horrified.
Cath gulped. "Talk about Frankenstein." she said.
They all turned slightly as Serling entered the room, before he stopped with his hands on his hips.
"Has ninja time been rescheduled?" he asked.
"Ah!" the Turtles gasped.
Leo pointed at Serling, while Raph touched his head, as Donnie hid the journal behind his back.
"Cretins." Serling said, as he turned and walked off.
"Phew, that was close." Cath said.
"I can't believe what happens to us." Donnie said.
"The next bit's about you, Cath." Leo said.
"Right, but can someone else read it, as I have a bad feeling." Cath gulped.
"Okay, I'll read you your bit, Cath." Elisa said.
"If Don's is that bad, I hate to think what mine is." Cath gulped.
"Hey, you're the Doctor in the family." Mikey reminded her. "Hopefully, you've helped cure a lot of people out there."
Elisa looked at the journal and began to read.
"'Cath was happy to be back home, and knowing...'" she read.
(The story)
Cath sat in the lair, sitting by a lab table with a bunch of medical science equipment.
April:...what kind of illnesses...
Cath held up two beakers full of liquid.
...were in the world, she decided to use her knowledge of the future to help...
She looked at the beakers carefully, before putting them down.
...cure them, after helping with O'Neil Tech's safety protocols.
"Hmm?" Cath muttered, putting her hand on her chin. "That's it! It might just work."
She turned and walked to the other end of the table, before she picked up a test tube.
After many months of careful and hard work...
Later, Cath stood outside O'Neil Tech with a bunch of aliens, including two Utroms in Exo-Suits and a Triceraton.
...just after the aliens started showing up...
Cath and one of the Utrom's shook hands, as a crowd of medical people cheered, before she held up a vial of yellow liquid.
...she managed to create a cure for cancer and other plagues...
In a hospital, terminal ill cancer patients were all injected with the yellow liquid by doctors and nurses, as Cath watched.
...curing millions of people around the world.
All the patients sat up happily, making Cath smile, as the doctors and nurses turned to her.
"Are you related to that Turtle at O'Neil Tech, Catharina?" a human male doctor asked.
"He's my brother." Cath replied. "We're the smart ones in the family.
Later, Cath was on a rooftop in the city, watching many people - humans and aliens alike - walking around down below, including a lot of kids playing around.
For a while, Cath's cure had helped put an end to plagues around the world...
A few kids turned and waved at her, who waved back.
...making them a thing of the past.
Cath smiled as she walked down a street, with a bag of medical books.
However, a few years later, things took a bad turn. The cure she made...
She turned right down the street, seeing a bunch of people falling to their knees, coughing badly.
...mutated badly.
Cath gasped and covered her mouth with her hands.
Some of the stuff she used to make...
She fell to her knees with her eyes wide in horror.
...the cure, had a deadly component in, which 'caused it to mutate...
Several people ahead of her began clutch their chests, while clutching their chests.
...creating an plague known as the Stardust Syndrome...
One man fell onto his chest and passed out, followed by two women, and then another man.
...a disease inside someone, which was worse than the Black Plague. Cath knew at once what she had done, and was devastated.
"Oh, my gosh! What have I done!" Cath cried, covering her eyes. "I caused all this! NOOOO!"
Despite her best efforts...
Later, Cath sat in her lab, looking at her work frantically, trying to find out what happened.
...Cath was unable to create something to undo what she'd done.
She threw her work away and frowned, clutching her head.
That and due to what happened to Donnie, she became depressed and unable to think.
Soon, Cath sat inside a jail cell, looking sad, with tears in her eyes
She ended up turning herself over to the Peacekeepers out of guilt for what she had done...
In the other cells all around her, people glared and hissed at her.
...and was hated by the entire world.
Outside, an angry mob stood, several with signs saying 'Down with Catharina', 'You monster!', 'Mutant Turtle Scum!' or 'You were supposed to cure us, not kill us'!"
"You caused this!" several yelled.
"You're a horrible monster!" others yelled.
"I deserve what's coming to me." Cath sighed.
While Cath rotted away inside the prison, people...
A domed was shown over a large part of the city, with a holographic doorway, while many people were inside it.
...infected, were forced to live in a domed off part of the city, many of which, never left.
In the dome was a graveyard, filled with thousands of graves, which kept getting bigger and bigger.
It took a long time, but a cure was finally found...
In a lab room, two men, a woman, a Triceraton and two other aliens all worked with chemicals in beakers and test tubes.
...after many, many years.
The woman poured the liquid from one test tube into another, while one of the aliens held up a beaker.
By that time however...
Cath sat in her cell in prison, looking sad.
...Cath had become so hated, she ended up spending a long, long time behind bars, to never leave again.
(The penthouse)
Elisa lowered the journal as the others all looked at Cath, who looked horrified.
"I... I don't believe it!" Cath cried. "I created something worse than the Black Plague? What kind of Doctor am I?"
She began to cry as Donnie comforted her, making her turn and cry into his shoulder.
"It's okay. You didn't mean to make it happen." Donnie assured. "Everyone makes mistakes."
"But I created something that killed millions of people." Cath cried. "I'm supposed to cure, not kill."
"Gimme that!" Raph said, snatching the journal from Elisa.
Everyone turned to him as he pointed at them.
"See, you guys blew it with your morals and your, and your brains and your kookiness." Raph said, pointing at his head, before he twirled his hand. "I just wanna go home and hang, nothing more. Nothing that gets me in trouble."
He opened the journal and began to read.
"'Raph came back from the future with a new…'" he began.
(The story)
Raph/Casey:...new lust for life.
Raph dragged Casey by arm along a rooftop, wearing Donnie's duffel bag.
Casey: Like he was making up for lost time.
Raph made them both stop by the edge, as he looked down at a warehouse.
"What's the surprise?" Casey asked.
"Zip it, lunkhead, or you'll ruin it and miss the rumble to end all rumbles." Raph hissed.
Below them, was a group of Purple Dragons, some carrying boxes from the warehouse into a truck, while others walked back into the warehouse, while Hun stood nearby, watching his boys work.
"Holy momerineck, the Purple Dragons, and their stinking leader, Hun." Casey said. "I've been waiting to settle with him forever. How did you know he'd be here?"
"Future knowledge, pally." Raph replied, crouching down, before he took Casey's mask and hockey stick out of the duffel bag. "Now, is it ninja time or is it ninja time?"
A Purple Dragon walked towards the warehouse, as another put a box in the back of the truck, while another two approached it, carrying a box each.
"Move it, Dragons. Every second we waste is money out of our pockets." Hun reminded them, turning around. "Mm?"
He looked up and saw Raph and Casey jumping down towards him. They both slam him with their feet, knocking him down and out cold, before they turned as the other Purple Dragons came at them. Raph jumped and kicked, as Casey jumped and punched, knocking four of them down.
"Hey, look at this, a freak and a geek." Hun said, sitting up as Raph and Casey turned around, before he got up. "You picked the wrong night, jerks."
He punched his fist, then whistled with his fingers, before the four Purple Dragons got up, as more came storming out of the buildings, surround Raph and Casey.
"Uh…We win this fight, right?" Casey asked nervously.
"Hey, the journal supplied the who, where, and when. All we gotta supply is the wax." Raph assured.
He ran off to fight, as Casey spun his hockey stick around, before he whacked a Purple Dragon away with it.
"OH!" the thug moaned, followed by another. "Uh!"
Casey: Later, when the cops arrived and made their way...
Raph put his Sais together, then spun them around.
...through the sea of punks...
He jumped up as seven Purple Dragons came towards him, before they stopped and looked up.
...a rookie wrote in his report...
Raph threw his Sais down at 18 Purple Dragons, which hit the ground between them, creating an explosion which knocked them all away.
"AHH!" they yelped.
...'it was like someone waged a war in Manhattan'.
Casey dodged as Hun tried to punch him, then tried to whack Hun with his hockey stick, but he grabbed it, before Casey kicked Hun's chest, pulling his stick free.
And he was right.
He whacked Hun hard with his stick, sending him flying towards the truck.
"AHH!" Hun yelled.
We came, we saw, we clobbered!
Hun hit the side of the truck, then fell unconscious.
Raph and Casey both looked at the scene, before Casey raised his mask up, as they both turned and walked off.
"Raph, old pal, that was truly the best night of my life, ever." Casey swore.
"Huh?" they muttered.
They gasped as they heard a noise, and saw the Metal Foot Mystic in front of them.
"A Foot Mystic?" Raph questioned. "I didn't read about any…."
Before he could finish, the Foot Mystic zapped the pair with magic.
"AHHH!" they yelled, before they vanished.
The pair soon reappeared on a deserted island in the Pacific, but without their clothes or gear.
"Where in the…?" Raph questioned.
He rubbed his head, then turned as Casey came out from behind a tree, clutching a bundle of leaves to cover his bottom half.
Casey: Raph and I was stuck on that island for three years before being rescued.
At O'Neil Tech, April stood outside with an African bald man, while little Silver Sentry, Nano and Chrysalis watch.
April married some other dude, thinking I went to the big ice rink in the sky.
Chrysalis flew up, as April and the man hugged each other.
Later, O'Neil Tech was trashed, with broken windows, the O on the sign being ruined, while the rest just said 'Eil ech'.
O'Neil Tech fell apart. April was too upset to work, so some skell named Darius Dunn...
Fast forward, the O'Neil Tech building resembled what it looks like now, only with a giant 'D' spinning atop of it, as smoke came up from buildings, polluting the sky.
...bought the joint, manufactured a bunch of junky tech that shot global warming through the roof.
In another part of the city, the sky was bright yellow, as the pollution had made the sun shine hotter and brighter, while the street on the ground was cracked slightly.
With the surface of the Earth like a red-hot oven, humans were forced to move underground. After a while we changed and evolved into mole people.
Four people rose up from the ground, made up of mole-human hybrids, as they had mole noses, teeth and hands.
Especially Jersey, they went first.
(The penthouse)
Raph stood with the journal, as his siblings all sat before him.
"You gotta be kidding me. I made mole people?" he said horrified, dropping the journal. "We can't let that happen!"
"There has to be something we can do." Leo said hopefully. "Maybe, I don't know, somehow we can forget all this."
"Quick, someone hit me!" Mikey said, pointing at his head. "I want amnesia."
"That won't do. We need to get our memoires wiped." Elisa argued.
"Yeah. I don't wanna remember any of this." Cath agreed.
"Wait a minute, hold on. If that last story was true, then how come both O'Neil Tech and Cody exist here in the future?" Donnie questioned, puzzled. "And why aren't there mole people running around?"
"Raph's b.o. offends their molish star-shaped noses?" Mikey suggested.
"Wait, Don's right." Cath said. "Now that he mentions it, I've never read up the plague I unintentionally created around here."
"Yeah, something's not right." Elisa said.
They all turned as they heard Cody laughing, seeing him and splinter by the entrance, who both came towards him.
"You are so big-time busted." he said.
Mikey, Cath, Donnie, Elisa and Leo all leapt to their feet.
"As I said, Cody-san, if my sons would not heed our warning, they would have to learn the hard way – and a funny way." Splinter explained.
"Sorry, guys, the journal's a fake. Splinter had me make it on the transcendental lathe." Cody explained.
The Turtles all looked down at the fake journal.
"A fine work of fiction, except for the Foot Mystic teleport at the end. I grew tired by then." Splinter said. "But perhaps now you understand why one must not alter the hand of fate. Do you see how even good intentions might result in disaster if you were to act upon foreknowledge of the future?
"Yes, Master." the Turtles all said, bowing.
"We promise, we'll never open that book again. We won't even look at it." Leo promised.
"You got that right." Donnie said.
"We swear, Sensei." Cath said.
"Really." Mikey assured.
"Honest." Raph said.
"Cross our hearts." Elisa said.
"I don't get it, Cody. How do you do it? How do you keep that stuff a secret?" Mikey asked.
That night, Cody was in his bed, reading the real journal, looking at the last page, which had a picture of the Turtles, Casey and April, with a sign saying 'Welcome back' behind them.
"Oh, it's easy. I know how the story ends, and you guys are gonna love it." he promised.
A/N: I had trouble with Elisa's story, so sorry if it's bad, but Cath's was a lot easier to do.
