Chapter 14
(A week later)
It had been a week since the group had returned to the city and currently, Naruto was in the Rising Tide, cooking some meals in the kitchen, lost in his thoughts about what had happened back in the South Pole and how Kurama still hadn't come back.
"Hey, are you ok?" Ru asked, as she walked into the kitchen to get some orders to take out to the customers outside.
"Yea, I'm fine," Naruto said with a firm tone, as he finished making some dishes and put them on their plates.
Ru frowned at this, as she could tell Naruto was worried about what was going on recently, as not only was there now a civil war in the South Pole, tensions were rising between both Water Tribes who lived in the city.
But before she could attempt to comfort the blonde, a crash was heard out in the restaurant.
"I said no politics, damn it!" Will was heard yelling outside.
"Stay out of this, you battle axe - gaaah!" a male voice was yelling, before the sounds of blows landing was heard, before the sound of glass shattering was heard.
"Cleanup outside!" Will yelled, as more blows could be heard.
Naruto sighed at this, as he went out to the front of the restaurant, to see that Will had what looked like two members of the Water Tribe in head locks, in front of the broken front window.
"Now, are you two gonna cut the civil war shit in my place, or am I gonna feed you some glass?!" Will shouted, as she shoved the two Water Tribe members towards the broken glass, which was still in the window frame, ready to shove them into it if they made the wrong move.
"I give! I give!" one of the Water Tribesmen yelled in a panic. as he tried to get loose from under Will's arm.
"What he said!" the other tribesmen yelled in a panic, as he knew it was best to not test the Firebender, as it was well known that Will had sent several triads to the hospital, after they had tried to hustle her and Naruto.
"Good to hear" Will said with a smirk, before she slammed the two Tribesmen's heads against each other, making them groan in pain, before she dropped them onto the floor.
"Not exactly a good look for us, if you beat up our customers, babe," Naruto said, as he gestured to some of the other customers, who looked nervous.
"They follow the rules. Plus, it's not like we are paying for the window" Will said with a grin, as she pulled out some yuans, which she started to count.
"So, not only are you beating the hell out of any Water Tribesmen who start anything here, you're robbing them too?" Ru asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"I consider it a tax on the stupid. They should know better then to start shit in our place" Will said with a smirk, as she continued to count
Naruto shook his head at this, as he looked around the restaurant. "Hey, where's Korra?" he asked.
"She went to see President Raiko. She's hoping that she can convince him to help stop the civil war" Ru said, as she served some customers their meals.
"Good. Hopefully he will help us, then we can call Mako and his forces and go kick that asshole out of the South Pole" Will said, as she put the yuans in her pocket.
"Hey, if you're on my side, then why did you beat me up too?" one of the Tribesmen groaned out, as he looked up at Will.
"Cause what's going on over in the South Pole doesn't mean you can act like a shit head to someone, who doesn't have anything to do with what's going on over there" Naruto said with a firm tone.
"Yea. Your problem is with the Northern Tribes sorry ass leader. Now until you and your fellow dumbass grow up, get the fuck out of my restaurant!" Will yelled out, as she grabbed both Tribesmen and threw them out the front door.
"The check for those guys' medical bills is coming out of your paycheck," Naruto said, as he sighed at this display from the redhead.
"You better have a good nest egg, as that's the 10th fight she's broken up in here this week" Ru said, as she sighed while shaking her head, before she served some more customers.
"Sellout" Will said as she pouted at this, while she took some orders.
"I told you to put up a sign about no fighting, babe. Oh, and no, leaving the beaten bodies outside doesn't count" Naruto said, as he went back to the kitchen.
Will grumbled at this and as she went back to work, the front door burst open and Korra barged into the restaurant.
Korra grumbled a great curse word under her breath, as she approached the bar and sat down.
"A bad day at the President's office sweetheart?" Naruto asked, as he came out with a sundae, which was a new item they had added to the menu.
"Don't test me, I'm not in the - mmmph!" Korra was saying with a scowl, before Naruto shoved a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth, causing her eyes to widen in surprise at the taste.
"Do you feel calm now?" Will asked with a grin at seeing this reaction.
"Slightly" Korra said after swallowing and taking the sundae from Naruto.
"Now, tell us what's wrong" Ru said, as she walked over and leaned against the counter.
"President Raiko told me he's not gonna get involved with the civil war," Korra said with a scowl, as she continued to eat her sundae.
"Eat slowly," Naruto said, as he saw that Korra was eating a little fast.
"Why should I - Ah!" Korra was saying, before she winced and held her head.
"That's why," Naruto said, as he placed his hand to Korra's forehead to try and help her.
"Anyway, I'm gonna guess that politics are involved with President dumbass not helping?" Will asked, as she scowled.
"Will, he's an elected official" Ru said with a disapproving tone.
"Yea, well, I didn't vote for him" Will said, as she scoffed at this.
"So I'm guessing that this means we can't expect Mako to help?" Naruto asked, as he removed his hand from Korra's forehead.
"Obviously not," Korra said with an annoyed look, as she went back to her sundae, but this time, eating it more slowly.
"Ah, so this is the republic city's most popular restaurant, eh?" Varrick asked, as he and Zhu Li entered the restaurant.
"Indeed, sir" Zhu Li said, as she adjusted her glasses.
"I'm surprised that you would show up here. Don't rich guys prefer the kind of restaurant, where they smell each other's farts - hey! Since when do you hit me?!" Will was asking, before Ru flicked the back of her ear.
"What brings you here, Varrick?" Naruto asked, as the business man took a seat next to Korra.
"I'm in between meetings and I heard that your place had a bunch of new foods that are the talk of the city. So I wanted to see if you guys are worth the hype" Varrick said, as he rested his arms on the counter.
"Well, seeing as you got me away from my stalker, the first meal is half off," Naruto said with a shudder at the memory of Eska wanting to marry him.
"You should have let us feed her to Naga's relatives," Will said with a scowl of annoyance, causing some customers' faces to go green upon hearing this.
"Anyway, what would the two of you like to eat and drink?" Ru asked Varrick and Zhu Li.
"No idea. What's the Avatar eating?" Varrick asked, as he looked at Korra curiously.
"Oh, it's a new dessert that we finally got right. It's called an ice cream sundae" Naruto said, as Korra finished the sundae.
"Yea, well, it will definitely be a hit," Korra said with a smile at her boyfriend.
"Well, if you're gonna order a dessert, we're doing a special deal where the dessert is half off, if you order a meal with it," Ru said, as she handed Varrick and Zhu Li some menus.
"Now that's a sales pitch! Hey, let's see if this pizza I have been hearing about is worth all the hype" Varrick said, as he smiled at this.
Naruto nodded at this, as he went into the kitchen to go get the next batch of orders ready, along with the other cooks.
"So, what seems to have you down, miss Korra?" Varrick asked as he looked at Korra, who looked annoyed, now that her mind was back on what had happened today.
"The President won't help stop the civil war" Korra said with a scowl.
"What we need is to apply pressure to that moron, so that he is forced to help" Will said, as she crossed her arms and scowled at this.
"Are we talking physical or political?" Ru asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"Yes," Will said with a slight smirk.
"Now, now. Before you resort to such tactics, what you need to do is to get support from the people of the city, who will then apply pressure on the President to do something" Varrick said, as he shook his head at this, while chuckling at Will's response.
"Oh? And how do we do that?" Will asked curiously.
"Yea. Will hasn't exactly been winning people on either side over by throwing them out, when they get into it" Naruto said, as he came out of the kitchen with a hot pepperoni pizza, which he placed in front of Varrick and Zhu Li.
"What you need is someone who can put the word out and I have just the thing - woah, ho, ho! That's good!" Varrick was saying, before he took a bite of his slice of pizza and smiled in surprise.
"Indeed" Zhu Li said with a nod, as she ate her pizza with a knife and fork.
"You could make a fortune with your food, if all your ideas are as good as this, my boy. Say, have you ever thought of expanding your business?" Varrick asked Naruto, as he took another slice of pizza.
"Hey, can we get back to your idea to help get Raiko to help with the South Pole situation?" Korra asked, as while she wasn't against her boyfriend getting praise for his food, she was more worried about helping her home.
"Yea, we can discuss this later. What's your idea?" Naruto said, as he nodded in agreement.
"Zhu Li, do the thing" Varrick said, as he went back to his pizza.
Zhu Li nodded at this, as she held up what looked like a scroll, which she unwrapped, showing what looked like a plan.
Naruto, Will, Korra and Ru looked at the scroll and while Korra and Ru raised their eyebrows in confusion, Will scoffed at this.
"Well, it's one way to go. Do you have a main actor picked out for this?" Naruto asked, as he sighed at this.
"Don't even think about it. No way is Naruto gonna be in some propaganda" Will said with a scowl, as she saw the smile Varrick was giving Naruto.
"Well, there goes that plan. Ah well, we can go with that Earthbender, he's a good kid. Said he works for you guys as a delivery boy" Varrick said, as he looked at Naruto.
"Bolin? Since when is he an actor?" Will asked curiously.
"Well, he tried your cooking and said it was OK," Ru said with a shrug.
"Yea, so?" Will asked, wondering what her point was.
"He fell over and fainted a moment later. I had to pay for his hospital stay" Naruto said with a sigh at his girlfriend.
"Anyway, if you feel this will help, I say go for it. Some of the Southern Tribe embassy asked me to walk with them in protest. Between that and your idea, I'm sure Raiko will feel the pressure" Korra said with a grin.
"Uh, are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, shouldn't the Avatar be more neutral with this kind of thing?" Ru asked, as Korra gave her a look of annoyance, making her back up a bit, with her hands in the air.
"Normally I would agree, but this is more than just some civil war. Unalaq is obviously working an angle and he needs to be dealt with sooner rather than later" Naruto said, as he put his hand on Ru's shoulder to put her at ease, while looking at Korra with a slight frown.
Korra paused at this, as she sighed and nodded at Naruto, before she looked at Ru. "Don't worry, we are still friends, Ru" Korra said to Ru, who nodded at this.
"OK, let's get started on planning out this mover of mine" Varrick said with a grin at this, as he and Zhu Li stood up, before they paid and left the restaurant.
(A few nights later)
It was the night of the Southern Water Tribe march and Naruto, Will and Ru were standing outside with the crowd, while Korra led the march on Naga with her fellow Southern Tribe members.
As the march continued, Naruto took note of the Metalbender officers nearby, along with Mako. "Hey mako, what are you doing here?" she asked, getting his attention.
"I'm here to keep the peace," Mako said, as he pointed out several Northern Water Tribe members, who were yelling at the marchers.
But they quickly stopped, as Will grabbed two of them from behind and slammed their heads into each other.
"If you want to start something, then start something with me, assholes!" Will growled, as she dropped the two Northerners on the ground.
"Does anyone else want to be an idiot?" Ru asked the other Northerners, who quickly shook their heads at this.
"You're not exactly helping keep the peace, ya know" Mako said, as he gave Will a look of disapproval.
"Humans are peaceful, people are loud, opinionated and stupid, especially if they just react with their own emotions and don't think for longer than it takes to heat a pot of tea" Will said, as she crossed her arms and scowled.
"Since when are you a philosopher?" Mako asked, raising an eyebrow at this, as this was way more insightful than what he expected from the redhead.
"I'm plenty smart, you uptight -" Will was yelling, before…..
BOOM!
The Southern Water Tribe Cultural Center suddenly exploded, making everyone scream in a panic.
Naruto frowned at this, as the Waterbenders and Firebenders quickly ran over to try and help contain the fire.
Before he could try to help he spotted what looked like several cloaked figures nearby, who were running away, but what stood out to Naruto was that one of them carrying what looked like a remote
Naruto's eyes narrowed at this, before he took off after them, using his Airbending to speed him up and to help him jump from light post to light post.
Seeing this, Mako went after them too, to hopefully back Naruto up.
As they both got close to the two fleeing figures, Mako sent a few blasts of fire at the one holding a remote; the first one making the figure drop the remote, before he used Firebending to block the second blast.
Naruto's eyes widened at this, before his eyes narrowed at this, before he used a blast of air around his body to shoot himself at the man and as he flew at him, he charged what looked like a miniature air sphere in his hand.
"Rasengan!" Naruto yelled, as he slammed his attack into the man's shoulder which drilled into him a bit, before the attack exploded and sent the man flying and crashing into a wall nearby.
As this was happening, the other men ran over to a satomobile nearby and quickly made their escape in it.
"I've never seen an Airbender get that mean," Mako said, as he picked up the remote.
"He will live. It was a low powered version" Naruto said, as he approached the man he had stopped and grabbed him by his injured arm, before slamming him against the wall.
"Gah! OK, OK. You got me, damn it!" the man yelled in pain, as Naruto's attack had shattered his shoulder.
"Why did you bomb the building?" Mako asked, as he walked over.
"Answer or I'll break the other one" Naruto said, as he made another Rasengan with his free hand and held it up to show the man.
"Forget it, whiskers. I'm not gonna - gah!" the man was saying, before Naruto slugged him hard in his shattered shoulder, breaking it even worse with an audible crack.
"I'm not playing your game! Now talk, before I make you dig your own grave!" Naruto yelled, as he grabbed the man by his throat.
"Enough!" Mako yelled, as he grabbed Naruto's shoulder to stop him.
"Back off! I'm doing your job!" Naruto yelled back, as he shrugged Mako's hand off his shoulder.
"What the hell is going on here?!" Lin yelled, getting their attention, as she and a few other Metalbenders walked over.
"This piece of trash is responsible for the bombing and he was just about to tell me why he and his friends did it, or I was gonna continue to break his bones" Naruto said, as he slammed his foot on the man's ankle, making him yell out in pain as it broke.
"Enough! Take him in. Mako, what do you have there?" Lin yelled at Naruto, as she grabbed him and pulled him away from the man, before she ordered her men to take him away.
"He dropped it when I shot some fire at him, before he blocked it with his own Firebending" Mako said, as he showed her the remote.
"A Firebender?" Lin asked, as she looked at the man with a quirked eyebrow, as her officers took him to a truck nearby.
"That makes no sense," Korra said as she, Will and Ru approached.
"What makes no sense is your boyfriend trying to force him to talk by breaking his bones. If you pull a move that stupid again kid, we're gonna have a problem" Lin said to Naruto.
"Better than waiting for him to lawyer up and be pampered by your useless President" Naruto said, as he shoved past Lin and walked away.
This got looks of surprise from Ru and Korra, while Will frowned a bit.
"What's his problem? I'm about to lock him up for the night" Lin asked, as she narrowed her eyes at Naruto, as he left.
"He's upset because of Kurama. He still hasn't shown back up after we left him at the South Pole and he's really worried about him" Will said, as she watched Naruto leave.
"And Raiko not helping us with the North isn't helping, either" Korra said, as she narrowed her eyes at this, as now she was even more upset about this, as she knew that Kurama was one of Naruto's best friends.
Mako paused at hearing this, before he frowned, as he knew that this would probably make either the Avatar or her boyfriend do something foolish.
(The next day)
It was the next day and Naruto and Korra were heading for the docks to talk to Iroh.
"Ah, Avatar Korra and Mr Uzumaki. I believe that you wished to meet with me?" Iroh asked with a smile, as he greeted the couple.
"Yes, we did. We wanted to ask you if there was anything you could do to help with what's going on in the South Pole" Naruto said calmly, as he nodded at this.
"Yea, we need backup to deal with my uncle and free the Southern Water Tribe" Korra said, as she nodded.
"Well, if I sailed near the South Pole, then I would be forced to defend myself, if I was attacked, causing me to look into the situation" Iroh said, as he rubbed his chin.
Korra smiled at this, while Naruto smirked at this, seeing what Iroh was getting at.
"What's going on here?" an older male asked, as a man with black hair and mustache, wearing glasses along with a purple tuxedo over a yellow shirt.
"President Raiko" Iroh said, as he quickly saluted the President as he approached.
"Avatar Korra, I believe I told you that I wasn't going to be getting involved in your civil war. So not only do you decide to try and turn the city against me, with your protesting and those movers, but you're now trying to turn my own men against me" Raiko said, as he looked at Korra with a firm look.
"We wouldn't have to do this, if you actually did something besides pay lip service" Korra said with a scowl.
"Well, he is just a politician" Naruto said, as he crossed his arms, clearly unimpressed with the President
"I do what I think is best for the city, Mr Uzumaki," Raiko said with a hard look and tone.
"Yea and when things get so bad in the South Pole that the city ends up getting attacked, I'll be sure to let the people of the city know you could have helped, but didn't" Naruto said, as he narrowed his eyes.
"…are you threatening me, Mr Uzumaki?" Raiko asked.
"Of course not. I'm just telling you what will happen if the city is attacked and we have to bail you out, when you can't do anything to save it" Naruto said with a slight smirk, as he knew that his words were getting to the President.
"General Iroh, you and your men are forbidden from leaving the city. If you disobey this order, then you will be dishonorably discharged" Raiko said, as he turned to look at Iroh, before he walked away.
"Of course sir" Iroh said with a nod.
"How did he know that we were going to go to Iroh?" Korra said with a scowl.
"Because some of your generation actually has loyalty, Miss Korra. Now, if you excuse me" Raiko said as he left.
Naruto and Korra paused at this, before after a few moments of silence, they both looked at each other.
"Mako" they said, as they both scowled at this, as they figured he was the most likely to tell him they were friends with Iroh and would go to him for help.
"Avatar Korra, while I am no longer able to help you, I do believe that my mother the Fire Lord may be sympathetic to your cause," Iroh said, getting their attention.
"Of course! But it will take a while for us to get there" Korra said before she paused.
"Well then, we better get packing," Naruto said, as he nodded at her.
Korra nodded at this, as they both left towards Naruto's motorcycle.
"We should be able to leave within an hour, if we pack quickly" Naruto said, as he started the motorcycle.
"Should we stop by the Metalbending police station first?" Korra asked, as she slightly scowled at the fact Mako had pretty much sold them out.
"Oh, I have something way worse planned for our police friend," Naruto said with a smirk, as an idea formed in his head.
(Later)
Later on with Mako, he was at the police station, going over some paperwork, when suddenly…..
CRASH!
"WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT SELLOUT NARK?!" Will bellowed, as a Metalbender was thrown through a window into the office.
Seeing this, Mako sweatdropped as the door was kicked open, before Will ran into the room, her hair slightly sparking.
(With Naruto and Korra)
Meanwhile with Naruto and Korra, they were making their way towards the Fire Nation by sea, with Korra using her Waterbending, while Naruto was using a glider to fly overhead.
"How long do you think it'll take us to get there?" Naruto yelled down at Korra.
Before Korra could respond to her boyfriend, her way was blocked as the water in front of her shot up and iced over.
Seeing this, she quickly dodged to the side, while Naruto saw that Eska and Desna were quickly approaching them.
"You stole my Naruto!" Eska yelled out, as she sent several ice spears at Korra.
"He's not yours!" Korra yelled back, as she easily dodged the ice spears and sent a fire blast at her cousin.
"You get one chance to back off, before I hurt you," Naruto said, as he flew around Desna's attacks.
Densa said nothing to this, but as he attacked Naruto, a shadowy figure in the water appeared underneath Korra.
"Korra!" Naruto yelled out in warning upon seeing this.
Before Korra could respond to this, what looked like a spirit burst out from under the water. Said spirit was a dark fox with red eyes and nine tails.
Said spirit roared loudly, before it attacked Korra by tackling her into the sea.
"Korra!" Naruto yelled, as he quickly flew at the sea and quickly dived into it, leaving the twin Waterbenders alone.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were both in their office, sitting at their desks, when suddenly….
I am here! Deadpool yelled, as he barged into the office, wearing a really bad version of All Mights outfit
What's with the outfit, Wade? Kfbanime87 asked with a raised eyebrow
Oh, I know. Its because My Hero Academia - You're Next is in the cinemas, even though its in English Sub, which is kinda annoying: P.O.M said with a smile, before he frowned
Why is it annoying? Kfbanime87 asked with a raised eyebrow
Well, because you're always drawn to read the subtitles subconsciously, along with having to read them quickly before they disappear. And when you do read them, you might miss something happening on the screen: P.O.M said
You do realize some theaters will have the dub, right? Kfbanime87 asked curiously at this
I asked at my cinema, but it was only subbed: P.O.M said with a frown
Ah, it must cost more to get it dubbed: Kfbanime87 said
Oh! And we are getting another season of the MHA anime! Deadpool said with a smile
Wait, seriously? I thought that this was the final season! P.O.M said in shock
No, I have read the Manga and this recent season wasn't enough to wrap up everything. They need at least one more, which they confirmed, so we are getting the final season next year: Kfbanime87 said, as he shook his head
Is this the actual final season or is this an attack on titan situation? Ow! Deadpool was asking, before a brick nailed him in the head
Don't be a smart ass! Kfbanime87 yelled
So, what's next? Deadpool asked, as his head healed
Well, Danny Phantom was a hit for me: Kfbanime87 said with a smirk at P.O.M, who chuckled and nodded at this
And after that, we'll be off to the world of Pokemon: P.O.M said

Hope that you all enjoyed this fanfic and that you're looking forward to the next chapter. I also hope that you're doing what you can to avoid getting this COVID by following the rules, while any and all flames are no longer welcome. Let's hope that now the vaccines are all done, we can rest a bit easier.
I would also like to point out that this is the last new fanfic that me and Kfbanime87 will be writing together until we finish one, as writing too many fanfics takes up too much time.
The harem is: Will, Korra, Asami, Opal and Ru. And don't worry, we have a plan for who to have Bolin pair with (which I'm sure will leave many of you shocked). Hope that you all enjoyed this fanfic, and once I've helped Kfbanime87, I'll be updating Jinchuriki Trainer next.
