In another part of Port Charles Carly was awaiting her release from a mental hospital. She was just sitting in her room staring at the door. It was as if a part of her had died the tough girl she thought she was. She thought she could handle the Mob world for Sonny Corinthos as well. It however has damaged her to no end. Nobody knew if Carly would bounce back from this. A man named Rick Lansing comes into her room but Carly didn't want to see him as she truly hated him. Carly looks in another direction not wanting to pay any attention to Rick. He however had the means to get her released but Carly really just didn't want to deal with Rick at all.
"You can leave I want Alexis to help me out of this." Carly demands.
"What makes you think she would bother dealing with you seeing as how you've treated her when you were involved with Sonny. I mean you can't possibly have a change of heart now that you've discovered your no better then his old flame Brenda your weak and pathetic." Rick says with a grin on his face. Carly looks at him furious and burst out at him.
"Get away from me! Get him away from me!" Carly screams.
The staff quickly come to Carly's aide and urge Rick to leave her in peace but Rick knew how to get under Carly's skin. Once Carly could calm down she returns to her stare at the door. Carly thinks about what to do next as she waits for her day to be set free and back out into the world.
"Please understand I don't want to see Rick he's a snake and nobody can trust him." Carly tells the staff.
At the hospital Brenda tries her best to believe that Sonny will survive his bullet wound as she waits outside the emergency room.
"Brenda let's get some coffee okay." Robin tells Brenda.
"Yeah I guess but I can't leave Sonny." Brenda tells Robin.
"I know I will go get us some coffee's okay." Robin tells Brenda as she gently pats Brenda on the shoulder.
Luke Spencer shows up and see's Brenda waiting for Sonny to bounce back from his wound. Luke knew how much Brenda loved Sonny and Luke knew about Sonny's decision to wanting to leave the Mob for her. However Sorel was in charge of things right now and Sonny needed to stop him. However would Sonny survive to even try to make things right in Port Charles once again.
"Brenda." Luke says.
Brenda turns her attention to Luke and goes to hug him.
"Luke...you came." Brenda says.
"Sonny is a great man I know he wants to truly leave this life of danger." Luke tells Brenda.
"Sorel has such a hold on him we have to do something. I really want a life with Sonny but I can't take much more of the Mob life." Brenda tells Luke.
"I know which is why I'm going to consider you taking Sonny far away from Port Charles until things calm down." Luke tells Brenda.
"Are you going to take down Sorel on your own?" Brenda asks.
"I have Anna and Robert to help me you and Sonny need peace right now." Luke tells Brenda.
"But what if Sonny doesn't want to leave just yet what if he wants to help you Luke." Brenda tells Luke.
