Luke knew well that Brenda wanted a life with Sonny and he had to give her hope of a new life with him. Luke knew he'd be able to handle Sorel without Sonny. He knew what would make Brenda happy is to be alone with Sonny.
"You love Sonny I'm giving you the life you want with him Brenda take it." Luke tells Brenda.
Brenda could truly understand where Luke was coming from and takes his word. She however still couldn't go in to see Sonny. Robin returns with coffee's and Brenda takes hers and sips slowly. Robin also brought some sandwiches so that Brenda could have something to eat. Brenda begins to think about Sonny's homemade spaghetti.
"You know Sonny would be fixing a big spagetti meal right now. He has wanted to open his own Pizza Shop and or Italian Restaurant but he will never get those dreams if he doesn't do something about Sorel." Brenda tells Robin.
"Sonny's spaghetti is the best I can tell you that and he would become such a success with such a spot. I can see it as well it would do wonder's for him. It may just happen but Sonny has to leave the Mob first." Robin tells Brenda.
At the Mental Hospital Alexis appears ready to have Carly released she had all the paperwork. Carly was thankful and ready to start over with a brand new life just for her but she overhears the news about shot's being fired on the docks. She automatically thinks of Sonny and wonder's if he's involved some how.
"I need to go to the docks." Carly tells Alexis.
"What for? To involve yourself with the Mob yet again and be forced back into this place. Carly what are you doing to yourself really what are you doing." Alexis tells Carly trying to get through to her.
"I need to know if Sonny is alright." Carly tells Alexis.
"He's with Brenda with her at his side he just may survive this. You however just need to move on." Alexis reminds Carly.
"I still care about him to." Carly makes mention of.
Alexis and Carly stop at Kelly's to pick up a meal before heading to their individual places. Alexis gives Carly a big check from Jax to help her start over with her life.
"I don't want anything from Jax." Carly says.
"And why not he's doing you a favor Carly think do you want to be out on the street?" Alexis says trying to talk some sense into Carly.
"Of course not but I will be find at the Port Charles hotel." Carly insists.
"Are you still furious with Jax for how he feels about Sonny he has his reasons." Alexis tells Carly.
"Sonny has changed." Carly tells Alexis.
"Only for Brenda not you Carly you were never able to." Carly tells Alexis and it was the truth whether Carly wanted to hear it or not.
