Aoi was quite shocked to learn that her parents were dead when the explosion at Masao's house had occurred 'Glacier what happened last night after I fell asleep' Aoi spoke telepathically

Glacier popped his head out as Aoi was unpacking into her new apartment with Masao 'Masao's Inner Demon awakened, Lord Esedess' Glacier spoke telepathically

Aoi got a sudden Flashback...

Aoi opened her eyes and felt like she was being carried by someone she looked up drowsy and saw Lord Esedess who was carrying her

"Who..." Aoi said but she had a feeling who it was since part of him seemed familiar in a way the Demon Lord looked down at her just as she fell back into unconsciousness

End of Flashback...

"Aoi, we should get to school we don't want to be late" Masao said putting his glasses on as they walk out the door Aoi made sure to hide Glacier from sight

"Aoi, Masao" Akira called out as he rushed over Aoi felt something was off about Akira "Akira" Masao said greeting him normally

"Let's walk to school together" Akira said with a smile on his face "right" Masao said while Aoi just looks at Akira getting a growing suspicion of him

At school...

Everyone was surprised that Masao Sera was still alive while walking with Aoi and Akira 'do you get the feeling Akira is acting a bit strange' Glacier spoke telepathically

'Yeah...I caught onto it right away' Aoi spoke telepathically "Aoi..." Masao said breaking Aoi from her thoughts "what's up?" She asked curiously

"You seem distracted are you ok" Masao asked in concern "I'm fine...don't worry" Aoi said caressing his cheek making him smile softly at her swooning at Aoi's touch

Masao also noticed a certain smell on Aoi "are you wearing perfume?" Masao questions making Aoi raise an eyebrow "huh?" She said confused

Masao kept his mouth shut after that but wondered why Aoi smelled so good...they walked into the classroom where everyone was staring at Masao after hearing about his destroyed house

"If your all gonna gawk at something do it when it's convenient...stop staring" Aoi said venomously making sure they all knew Masao was her's

Masao sweatdropped at Aoi's overprotective nature but he was also somewhat happy that she was being possessive of him

Then Abe walked up to Masao "I want to talk to you" Abe said making Masao look at him Aoi was about to retort but Masao stopped her "it's ok...I'll be fine" he said softly

Masao walked out with Abe leaving the class befuddled that Aoi didn't at least argue with Masao "you just gonna let him go?" Akira asked curiously

"I'm not gonna protect him all the time...he can handle himself in these situations" Aoi said going to her seat while leaning her chin against her fist closing her eyes

After school...

Aoi and Masao were at their shared apartment...Aoi was making dinner while Masao was staring at her dreamily from the kotatsu

'It's like we're already a married couple' Masao thought to himself dreamily then heard the voice in his head 'I am Esedess let your desires run free'

Masao saw one of his hands trying to reach out for Aoi while turning into a clawed hand Aoi turned around only to see Masao holding his arm under the Kotatsu

"You seem very hyperactive Tonight" Aoi said with a deadpan expression on her face Masao hid his arm under the kotatsu "yeah" he laughed nervously

Aoi decided to point it out "I suppose the Demon inside you is trying to claw it's way out" Aoi said surprising Masao with her knowledge of his condition
