Vesperia stood at the back of the studio as Ladybug addressed the people of Paris. They had a big reveal coming.

"Hello, citizens of Paris." Ladybug smiled back at her from the screen she was watching her on. She had to find the urge to swoon. "The time has finally come. I have picked my last temporary hero. The Butterfly is in play."

The news crew muttered between themselves, and the Mayor looked a bit strange, but no one interrupted her partner.

"Please meet the newest member of our team." Ladybug stepped aside and Chloe stepped into view.

Her costume started with a lavender body suit. No one could tell those as it was covered in a gossamer gown that flowed from her neck to her ankles. The outfit was just sheer enough to tease the body underneath but not reveal the armor-like underlayer. There was a slit in one leg though that you could see the unlying lavender. Chloe's skin was it's normal color but her eyes were bright purple now. She had a domino mask that resembled a butterfly. The sleeves ended in rings that tucked under her middle fingers, holding them in place.

"Hello, fellow citizens of Paris." Chloe had adapted a teasing tone to her voice that was far from usual. "My name is Fae Butterfly. But don't worry, unlike the Fae of myth, making a deal with me won't ever hurt you." Zoe chuckled as Chloe winked at the camera.

"She really got into the role, didn't she?" Ladybug asked as she joined Vesperia.
"Oh yes, Adrien and Max helped her through. They looked up Fae myths to help prepare her persona. Maybe we might do a sister actress combo in the future."

"Teasing and friendly." Ladybug nodded. "The exact opposite of Hawk Moth. A perfect way to differentiate the villian and the new hero."

Chloe was dazzling the people of Paris, promsing them to do no harm and if someone refused the call to battle, she would respect their choice."

"True." Versperia kissed her on the cheek. "Helps that at least for now she will be focusing on using her powers on us."

Ladybug wrapped her in a hug. "Agreed."

Vesperia snuggled against Ladybug. She was always amazed at how Ladybug's costume felt as warm and comforting as Marinette did when they lay together in their beds.

"Are we going to tell the people of Paris about the robots?"

Ladybug shook her head. "No, your father cannot suspect we know. Or he could change his plans and hit us hard. Or he could just have them grab you. He is going to want to provide his ultimatum and then attack only if you don't fall into line.I suspect we will hear from him today or tomorrow. He will want to move things up now that Tomoe is in jail. He won't want her having a change of heart."

Vesperia nodded. "I'm glad we told Caline though. Having her ready in case a response by the city is needed is a good idea."

Ladybug nodded. "I asked about getting clearance to call in the United Heroes and American Miraculous Team. She said she would get back to me."

Chloe had finished her performance and bowed as filming ended. She came over to join them.

"How was it, oh sister dearest?" Chloe winked at Zoe who snorted with laughter.

"Very believable, Fae. I get the feeling by tomorrow morning, there will be a Fae Butterfly fan club supporting your every move."

Chloe laughed at that. "I don't doubt. I like that my suit makes me natural voice sound like this. If I had to try and maintain this tone all the time, I think it would hurt me."

Ladybug nodded. "The suit allows you to be whoever you want. I suspect being a ethereal fairy would be very appealing to you."

"Yeah. Well, at least it will be a bit before I get the naughty art and Fanfiction about me. Unlike you girls."

Vesperia felt her cheeks burn at her sister's words. She saw Marinette was blushing too. "Well, as much as I want to go home with you, Ladybug, I need to reach out to Eagle. If we do get permission, I would rather they be ready to act."

Ladybug kissed her cheek. "I need to speak to Max anyway. See you tonight. My house?"

"Yes. I'll go back to the hotel once this is all over."

Vesperia felt Chloe, Fae, pull her into her arms. "Be careful, Ves."

"I will, Fae. See you later."

The three girls took their leaves. As she ran across Paris, Vesperia took out her top and looked for Jess' phone #.

Luka blocked both Rose and Juleka as they struck at him.

"Very good, but you need to be faster," Roarr said from the sidelines.

"Roarr is correct, Twinie." He smiled at his sister. Sass nodded approvingly from beside him.

"Got it! Here we come, Luka!" Rose called. She and Juleka charged together.

Luka blocked them again. He disliked it was needed for them to fight, but that would not stop the robots from coming. They would all need to be ready. He hoped the others were doing the same, across the city. Preparing themselves for the battle to come."

Felix rubbed the brooch. "Dusuu, can you help me with making a new sentibeing to battle the robots?"

The Kwmai bobbed. "Of course, Felix! Can we have some tea while we discuss it?"

The heir smiled as he rose. "I'll be back with two cups and those biscuits you like so much."

"Yay!"

As Marinette and Zoe slept together that night, Zoe's phone lt up with a text message. The sender… was Father.
