Zoe and Marinette had woken earlier than they normally would even on a school day. However, there would be no school today. Their comrades were rushing about, some eating what quick food they could grab while the others were talking with their Kwami's and making other preparations. Zoe went to the window and saw the police and even some French troops setting up barricades. They were all armed with enchanted EMP guns, designed by Max and powered up by Marc to slow the robots down.
Unfortunately, Tomoe's confession had come with the specs of the robots. They had built in Auto-repair systems that would make them difficult to stop completely, other than for Chat Noir. Zoe looked over at Marinette who was brewing a potion using the coffee pot, which was earning her angry looks from the barely awake superheroes.
"What are you doing, love?" Zoe cuddled up to her side. Tikki and Pollen were in another room, avoiding the ingredients Marinette was adding to the potion.
"I'm making a magical potion to enhance Adrien and my personal storage of power. This will allow us to fight longer and use our powers more frequently without worrying about needing to stop and feed our Kwamis."
Zoe laughed. "With the size of the cheese plate that Andre gave to Plagg, I don't think he will have a problem."
Marinette laughed too as she stirred the potion. "That' fair, but I feel we need to be ready. They are locked in on Zoe. Once you transform, they will go into hunting mode to find you again."
Zoe sighed. "So, I should wait until they are close to the Hotel before they lose me, so we can close the trap on them."
Marinette winked. "The streets have been blocked up, giving them one straight line to the hotel. Once they are in the plaza, the heroes will attack form behind while we and the hotel security, armed with Max's guns, attack from the front. Only person I don't know where they are is…"
A white portal opened and Bunnyx came sliding out. "Sorry, I'm late! Or am I…" She looked at everyone rushing around and getting ready. "I see I'm not. Sorry, I slept in. Had a super-secret mission with older me. I'll fill you in later, Marinette."
Marinette held out a carrot to Alix who released her transformation to feed Fluff. Zoe hugged the shorter girl.
"Thank you for making it. I know you can't tell us where my Father is, but I'm glad you will fight beside us."
Alix winked. "Actually, that's part of why I am here. I cannot stop the invasion of Paris, that happens. But, once the robots leave their hideout, there is nothing saying I cannot tell you where your Father is, since I didn't change anything."
Zoe saw fire in Marinette's blue eyes. "Alix, you are a mad genius."
Alix tossed the carrot to Fluff. "Oh, I know."
Zoenette-October*
Mister Lee looked down at the robots. The watch on his wrist changed to noon exactly. "Zara, Zade. Any word form your sister?"
They shook their heads. His phone too was absent of any messages. "I am disappointed. All units, begin the march to reclaim my daughter."
The robots turned and began to march out of the warehouse. The battle had begun.
"Father, are you sure these weapons will work on the Miraculous users?" Zara asked looking at the strange gun in her hands.
"Of course not, but it was the best I could do. There is so much we don't understand about the Miraculous."
The three of them started to head back into their hideout to await the heroes.
Zoenette-October*
The barricades got the first of the action. Robots had tried to spread out and go down all the streets, only to meet the lines of police and servicemen and women. Their EMP guns rang out and robots fell, temporarily disabled. The Police sighed in relief. They had felt completely useless during the reign of Hawkmoth.
Ordinary citizens came out with blunt weapons and tools and were stripping off as many parts from the fallen robots as they could. The citizens of Paris were showing they would not tolerate anyone invading their city again.
The main host of the robots however were marching straight down the unblocked street, right for the hotel. Chat Noir landed on a lamp post, looking down as the robots approached the lines of security ready to battle them back from the hotel. Mister Lee had not even seen the trap.
Superheroes landed behind the robot army but have not moved yet. Chat Noir heard Marinette's voice in his ear.
"Remember, Kitty Cat. You set the rules of your Miraculous. Time for you to obtain your full powers."
Chat Noir glowed and his suit changed similar to the way Ladybug's did when she cast her Lucky Charm. He brought his hands together in some sort of anime pose.
"Cataclysm – Beam!"
He released a beam of negative energy form his hands, sweeping it over a bunch of the bunched up robots. He willed the beam not to touch the street beneath them. The robots dissolved, leaving the ground unscathed. He smiled, he could control his destruction!
The heroes still did not move yet. Kagami, as Ryuuko, jumped off the roof of the Grand Paris Hotel.
"Lightning Dragon," Kagami called and her body changed to pure energy. The living lightning swept through the ranks of the robots, disabling many of them.
Once this attack was done, then the heroes made their moves, jumping in to fight the robots with their superhuman strength and powerful weapons.
Chat leaped down as well, noting the security was now firing into the mass of robots as well. He charged his staff with a Cataclysm, making the silver pole spark with energy. He started destroying one robot at a time, rendering them unto dust.
He looked up to see Ladybug, Vesperia, Fae Butterfly, and Bunnyx heading down from the Hotel and off towards the outskirts of Paris. He smiled as he realized they were on their way to deal with the source of this madness. His comrades were joining him and Kagami as they formed a circle in the center of the mob. He rejoined the battle.

Sabine swung her bread paddle like a sword and knocked back the robot trying to pounce on her. She and Tom had joined the barricade nearest to their house. Officer Roger had been unwilling to risk them at first, but once Tom had flattened a robotic foe with ease, he had given in.
The robots were starting to repair, Ladybug had warned the police of the Auto-repair system on board the units. However, the last one Tom had smashed had not gotten back up. Sabine worked her way over to it and started to rummage in the open chest cavity.
"What are you looking for, Sabine?" Officer Roger called as he blasted a robot that was almost on top of her.
"What is making these things get back up." She called and found what she was looking for.
It appeared to be a simple black box but it had the words 'Nanobot Repair System' on the front.
"Everyone," Sabine called, "I found their weakness. Tell everyone to aim for the right side of the bot and destroy the black box there."
Roger pulled out a radio and called it into all his fellow officers.
Sabine rejoined the fight as Ladybug, Vesperia, Fae Butterfly, and Bunnyx ran by overhead. She hoped her baby girls were being safe.
"Give Mister Lee hell for us, girls." She called after the heroes who pumped a fist in acknowledgement as they continued on to their goal.
Zoenette-October*
The heroes had been winning, until the robots not cataclysmed started getting back up. Rose stood next to Luka and Juleka, banging her weapon on a robot who refused to stop moving.
"Guys, if this is the end…" She started.
Juleka's tiger eyes flashed as she slashed a robot and kicked it away.
"Don't talk like that, Ella. We are going to be fine."
She nodded then a door nearby turned purple. Then a woman in a cape came rushing out and punched a robot. This caused it to fly and crush an entire line of the bots.
"No need to fear, reinforcements have arrived!" Majestica called out as she flew into the air.
Uncertainty Valley flew out of the portal and up into the air.
"Analyzing robotic opponents. Weakness located. Precision laser strikes advised."
She fired out laser beams, hitting the right side of some of the bots, dropping them at once to the ground.
Rose smiled. "So that's their weakness! Aim at the right side, everyone!"
"Hold on!" Came another voice from the portal. "You're gonna need some super help."
Eagle sprang out next and tossed feathers at all the heroes, other than Chat Noir. "I free you from the restrictions of your Miraculous. Liberation!"
The heroes felt their full powers set in and smiled. Kagami turned back unto living lightning again and started sweeping through the bots right sides, frying their repair systems instead of their control systems.
Beside her, Juleka as Purple Tigress started throwing out Clouts like there was no tomorrow. Rose smiled as she advanced on some more bots, her hope of victory restored."

The four heroines landed outside the warehouse. Over twenty of the bots were standing outside, guarding the entrance.
"Shall we go through a window?" Vesperia asked her partner.
Ladybug grinned and pointed upwards. "No need."
Argos flew down, using the space power up and landed. 'Power down. Come forth, my Sentibeing."
Argos held up his ring and a ball of electricity rose from it and swept forward, devouring the bots. Once it had completed it's job, all twenty bots fell down and the ball of energy returned to Argos.
"Well done, Chat Clone." Fae teased.
Argos rolled his eyes. "Whatever, butterfly girl. Shall we?"
Vesperia nodded. "My Father is mine."
Argos nodded. "I can respect that. Bunnyx, shall we take Zade together?"
The bunny hero of time laughed and readied her Unmbrella. "Oh yes. I'm looking forward to this, bird boy."
Ladybug looked at Fae. "Shall we take Zara together?"
Fae shook her head. "No, you be ready in case Vesperia needs backup. I want to teach Zara a lesson about betraying our sister."
Her tone was so serious even Vesperia shuddered at her words.
"Alright. Good luck everyone."
They marched into the warehouse.
*Zoenette-October*
Ryuko sighed in relief as the last robot fell. The other heroes were all cheering as Eagle used her cool down, releasing them from the Liberation. There were chimes from most of the squad, saying their timers had started.
"Everyone, back in the hotel to recharge." Chat called as he twirled his staff. "I'm moving to the next pack. I'll feed Plagg on the way." He turned to her. "You got wind and water left, do you want to come or go take a break?"
She leaned up and kissed him on the lips softly. "I'll gow with you, of course. I also have food for Longg. I can do with my Lightning Powers back."
He nodded and started off down the street, dropping his transofrmation once he was in cover. He tossed Plagg some cheese as they went. She dropped hers as well and passed some jerky to Longg. "Sorry It's not fresh meat, my partner."
Longg gulped it down. "No worries, Kagami-Sama. Fresh meat would be too messy to carry around. We are not all as annyoing about our food as Plagg is."
"Bite me." Plagg called before scarfing down his cheese.
Kagami and Adrien stopped as they saw Sabine and Tim battling side to side with Officer Roger and about to be overwhelmed.
"I'm worried for Marinette and Zoe." Kagami admitted. "I hope they are alright."
Adrien patted her shoulder. "Don't worry. Those two are as solid a pair as Marinette and myself. They'll be fine."
She hugged him. "I'm glad. Let's get back out there. Our friends and family are counting on us."
Adrien smiled. "Plgg, Claws Out!"
"Longg, bring the storm!"
*Zoenette-October*
Zade and Zara were waiting as they came was so tired of seeing her twins as enemies.
"I see our sister is not with you." Zade said with contempt. "We thought for sure she would come and surrender to protect the city."
Ladybug scoffed. "Surrender? Why would she? We have destroyed many of your bots already. We knew they were coming, thanks to Adrien and Kagami. Now, we are here to bring you three to justice."
Zara laughed. "Oh, please. I'm sure the Auto-repair systems have brought most of them back up by now. We will have the Miraculous soon. I wonder, why is Zoe so impornat to you that you would deliver your jewels into our hands."
Fae scoffed this time. "You wouldn't understand. We would never give up a Parisian citizen, regardless of who they are. No more talk. Let's settle this."
"Very well, Butterfly wannabe."
Zara jumped forward and she and Fae were locked in hand-to-hand combat.
Bunnyx and Argos circled Zade in opposite directions.
"Want to banter too?" Bunnyx offered him.
"No, but I'm going to love teaching you a better use for that peasant's mouth."
He gave Bunnyx a lewd look Zoe would never remove from her brain. Argos caught Bunnyx right before she could rage and attack Zade recklessly.
"Calm down, Bunnyx. He is trying to get you to make a mistake. Let's take him together."
Out came the Umbrella and fan and the two of them charged at once. Vesperia grinned at the look of shock on his face.
"Shall we go, my love?" Ladybug asked.
"Oh, yes." Vesperia unwound her top and the two of them headed towards the back of the room.
Vesperia saw her Father standing looking at the screen with the bots status. Over three-fourths of the army had fallen. He looked broken as he watched more and more lights disappear.
"Why… why did you try so hard to force me to give my Zara to those awful men."
Vesperia felt any remorse for the sadness on her father's face disappear at his remark.
"We are sworn to protect Paris." She said fiercely. "We could not tolerate your disregard for the laws and privacy of our citizens, no matter who it was. Besides, human trafficking is wrong. You never should have promised someone to men like that."
"Audrey made a mistake. Sadly, they never forget. They gave me until the end of the month to give them Zoe or Zara. If I failed, they would kill Zade and take both of you anyway."
"I understand your situation," Ladybug remarked. "You forget I battled those men for Chloe last year. If you had just asked for help, I would have come again."
"You know," her Father chuckled. "I actually believe you. Well, shall we finish this? I doubt I can win, but I'll be damned if I give up."
Vesperia took a deep breath and took a ready stance. The man charged at her and she flipped off to the side, landing on her hands and delievering a kick to his side. She heard her father exhale as she forced the breath out of him. She completed her flip and landed lightly on her feet.
"Not really far, fighting me as a normal person." Mister Lee wheezed.
"Please, I heard from Zoe at how good you are at martial arts." Vesperia rolled her eyes. "That was what Audrey was attracted to, wasn't it?"
The man blinked in shock. "I'll be honest, I didn't know Zoe knew that about me."
"You would be surprised how much she knows about you, trying to earn your love." Vesperia launched herself at him and they traded blows. His fists felt weak against her superhero form. She thanked Pollen for her protection.
"I see.. It's a shame that I can't take back what I've done. I was only willing to give Zoe up because I thought she had no love for me at all."
Vesperia had to fight the urge to bite back a comment that would reveal herself to him. "When she told us about you, Zoe cried. Cried for the love she never had from you and would never have. Even now, she can't really hate you. But she is done with you. She doesn't need you."
"I know. And that should hurt. But it doesn't."
They exchanged more blows as they fought around the room.
"Can you tell me… are you happy my daughter?"
Vesperia widened her eyes, realizing her reaction had given her away.
"Please, I recognize the fighting style I taught you."
She smiled as she punched him in the gut, forcing him back.
"She is very happy," Vesepria said at last.
Her father coughed hard and spat out to the side. "Well, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with that."
"This next blow will end it," Vesperia promised as she unwound her top.
"I know. I'm sorry."
She flashed by him, a streak of yellow and black. "Venom!"
Her father was frozen in place, unable to act further. Veseperia took her hand and smashed the big red shut-down button.
*Zoenette-October*
Tom laughed as the robots started falling over on their own. Chat Noir was standing at his back with his destruction staff in hand.
"We win!" Tom roared as he scooped up Chat in a hug. He saw his wife fist-bumping with Ryuko as Officer Roger danced in celebration.
The other heroes arrived, along with the American heroes. Knight Owl cracked her knuckles. "We are going to take the Lee's into custody. Do you know where they are, Chat Noir?"
Tom saw Chat nod. "Ladybug just called in on the earpiece. Follow me!"
*Zoenette-October*
Chloe had defeated Zara with great difficulty. She had been pretty proficient at fighting. Meanwhile, Bunnyx and Aros had taken down Zade pretty fast and had been cheering her on.
She had just knocked Zara out when her energy ran out and she feel to her knees.
"That will teach you to mess with our sister." She said low, trying to make sure the fallen girl could not hear her.
Chloe fainted right as the other heroes came bursting into the Warehouse.
*Zoenette-October*
The Lee's were taken away quickly and quietly. Vesperia looked at Ladybug and Chat Noir who were standing next to Doorman.
"We'll be back soon." Chat said as he waved. "This cannot keep continuing. We have the base of those men. We are going to raid it. We'll be back soon."
Ladybug kissed Vesperia. Wish you could come along, but the US President was very clear only me and Chat could do this."
She hugged her partner. "I understand, my love. I'll see you tomorrow?"
Ladybug nodded. "I'll need some cuddles to recharge my batteries. See you then."
Vesperia waved as the two vanished. She yawned loudly as Ryuko hooked her arm in hers. "Come on, let's get you to bed. We are all still staying at the hotel tonight."
Vesepria did not argue but allowed herself to be led off to a warm bed, where she and Pollen could sleep off the mentally exhausting day.
