"Thanks for help today, guys," Ladybug said after she, Flarimidble and Cat Noir did a three way pound it. "Escaped animals are nothing to mess around with."
Today's villain had wanted to see the animals and had let them out of their cages. "Well, that villain wasn't so ruff," Flarimidble grinned. Ladybug glared. "Argos, I know that's you." "Ladybug, your mistaken. Do peacocks have four legs and a tail?"
Ladybug spluttered. "You two have been hanging out way to much. I guess I should keep a eye on you." Flarimidble turned to Cat, whispering something in his ear, and Cat nodded.
"Walkies!" They both chanted in usion, and Ladybug sighed. It was beautiful day and as much as she loved both of them, who knew what shenanigans they'd get up to! And didn't she have a reputation to keep? Wait, she had a idea!
"Wait here and be good," she wagged a finger at them sternly.
"What are you planning, Marinette?" Nikki asked, once Marinette had detransformed. "Nikki, I have a hard enough time keeping Cat in line when he gets the sillies and now there's double. But Cat listens to Marinette." "Good thinking. Just remember, let them have fun."
Marinette peeked around the corner as she fixed her hair. While Cat and Flarimidble waited, they passed the ball back and forth.
"Hey, boys!" Marinette called. "Ladybug asked me to watch you two, you know, make sure your good?" "I'm always a good boi," Cat gave her a angelic smile. "Now, Ladybug said something about walkies?"
They were passing one of the alleyways when Flarimidble froze. "What's wrong?" Marinette asked, hoping she didn't need to transform again. She wanted a cool drink or maybe an ice cream. Or both.
"I heard something in those boxes!" Flarimidble hissed. "I'm going to go check it out!" Cat begin to follow, but Marinette held his tail. "You stay here, I don't need both you getting in trou-"
Just then, a frightened cat shot out of the alleyway, Flarimidble in hot purist. What is in the suits today? Marinette wondered, calling for her friend to stop.
Cat and Marinette chased after him, passed the apple stand that sold delicious apple cider, the bakery, and into the park.
"Felix, heel!" Marinette hissed under her breath. Why couldn't they just play Frisbee in the park like everyone else.
"Sit, boy! Sit!" "Kagami?" Marinette's head jerked up when she saw a stern looking Kagami and a sorry-looking boy in a dog suit.
"Oh, thank you!" Marinette hugged her friend. She held out her hand. "Miraculous." her voice was stern. Flarimable's ears drooped, and Marinette felt herself weakening. But she had to stay strong.
"Miraculous, then ice cream, my treat." Cat meowed happily behind her. "Maybe I should have been naughty too?" Marinette shot him a look. "Don't test me, Fur ball. In fact, how about you two get the ice cream and Kagami and I will relax in the leaves?"
The pair shot off before the Miraculous was given back, but Marinette was to tired to chase after them. "Long day?" Kagami asked. "I should have called you first. You have quite the firm touch for making sure your boyfriend stays out of trouble."
Then Marinette laughed. "Oh, well. I wouldn't want them to be any other way."
When the boys came back, Cat had gotten her a peanut butter cone. "Thanks, Kitty. Oh, and ever change, kay?"
Cat winked as he licked his cone. Marinette sighed. Cats and dogs normally didn't get along, both she loved it when her team all worked together even when causing shenanigans.
