Chapter 12: she Was a Teenage Abomination

Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I hope you all enjoy this one. This took a little thinking but I think you'll really enjoy so sit

back relax Review and Enjoy.

We find ourselves back in the Boiling Isles. Jake, Stitch, Eda, King, Finn, and Asher stood by the coast, taking in the scene. Eda had a big smile on her face, while Jake, Stitch, and Luz had mixed expressions.

"Well, kids, did you ever in your life think you would see something as breathtaking as this?" Eda asked, gesturing to a giant slug creature.

"I don't like this," Luz gulped.

"Stitch about to be sick," Stitch said, looking ready to vomit.

"Uh, what exactly is this?" Jake asked.

"A Trash Slug. It makes a home, a life from what others have thrown by the wayside, and then bam! It gets hit by a wave and croaks from all the salt. Then we get to sell the stuff it ate," Eda explained, taking out a pickaxe.

"Yeah, we had to do this when Asher and I were little," Finn said.

"Yeah, it was gross," Asher added.

Hearing this, Jake made a gagging noise, while Luz looked just as grossed out. Stitch couldn't hold it in and vomited on the floor.

"Aw, come on. It's not every day you get to go to the dump and pick apart a garbage carcass," King said, setting up a little towel.

"Ah, nuts to all six of you," Eda said, swinging her ax and chopping up the slug.

"Uh, Eda, I know you're a great witch and all, but maybe we can do something less gross?" Jake asked, with Stitch agreeing.

"Like maybe read ancient scrolls, learn some spells, or mix together some potions?" Luz suggested.

"Ugh, that sounds like a bunch of magic school stuff," Eda groaned.

"There's a magic school?" Jake and Luz said at the same time.

"Like winding towers, cute uniforms, dark plots that threaten your life kind of magic school?" Luz asked excitedly.

"Mm-hmm. What's worse, they force you to learn magic the 'proper' way. But magic isn't proper. It's wild and unpredictable. And that's why it's so beautiful. I didn't finish school, and look at me! Who wouldn't envy where I am right now?" Eda said, standing next to a bunch of smelly garbage and guts, causing both teens to feel uneasy. "Uh, hey, here's a lesson. A good witch is resourceful," Eda said, putting her hands into green slime.

When Luz pulled her out, she was holding a ball of slime.

"A greasy slimeball?" Luz asked.

"Use your slimeball wisely," Eda said, while Jake pulled out a slimy silver dollar coin.

"Ugh, great. Smelly money," Jake groaned as Stitch tried to eat it.

"No, Stitch," Jake said, pulling it away.

"Oh, that reminds me," Eda said, rummaging in her pocket and taking out some money. "Go into town and pick up supplies for dinner."

"Ooh! Ooh! Yes! Your King demands food!" King ordered.

Luz took the money from Eda and nodded. "Alright, we'll get the supplies. Come on, guys."

Jake, Stitch, and King followed Luz as they headed toward town. As they walked, Jake glanced at Luz. "So, this magic school... do you think we could visit it sometime?"

Luz's eyes lit up. "I'd love to! It sounds like a place where we could learn so much more about magic."

King snorted. "Magic school is for dweebs. Real magic is learned in the real world, not in some fancy classroom."

Jake laughed. "You might be right, King, but it wouldn't hurt to check it out. Who knows what we might learn?"

Stitch nodded. "Stitch like learning. Stitch wants to be good wizard."

In town, Jake and Stitch were walking to the market.

"I can't believe Luz went off somewhere else and left me with the chores," Jake said, a little annoyed.

"Stitch can help, Jake," Stitch said, holding some money.

"Yeah, I know," Jake said, smiling.

Suddenly, they heard a loud roar.

"Unhand that, you vile creature!" a voice shouted.

Turning around, Jake and Stitch saw an old man with what appeared to be a demon mask on his face trying to pull his satchel free from a griffin. Nearby, they noticed a teenage girl close to Jake's age with wavy turquoise hair and sea-blue eyes. She wore a flowing blue dress with seashell accessories and had a bracelet made of coral.

Jake and Stitch exchanged glances, and then Jake stepped forward.

"Hey, do you need help?" Jake called out to the old man and the girl.

The old man struggled to keep hold of his satchel. "Yes, please! This griffin has been terrorizing the market all morning!"

The girl turned to Jake and Stitch with a determined look. "I could use some help calming it down. It's probably scared or hungry."

"Stitch can help!" Stitch said, bounding over to the griffin.

Jake nodded. "Okay, let's do this. Stitch, try to distract it while we figure out what it wants."

Stitch approached the griffin, making soothing noises. The griffin's aggressive stance softened slightly as it focused on Stitch.

The girl pulled out a small pouch from her dress. "I have some food that might calm it down," she said, tossing a few pieces toward the griffin.

The griffin sniffed the food and then began to eat, finally releasing the old man's satchel.

"Thank you, thank you," the old man said, retrieving his belongings. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

Jake smiled. "No problem. I'm Jake, and this is Stitch."

"I'm Marina," the girl said, extending her hand. "It's nice to meet you both."

Stitch shook Marina's hand enthusiastically. "Stitch happy to help!"

Jake grinned. "So, Marina, what brings you to the market today?"

Marina glanced around, her eyes sparkling. "I'm here to find ingredients for some potions. I'm learning magic, and the market has some rare items."

"Cool," Jake said. "We're here to get supplies for dinner. Maybe we can help each other out?"

Marina nodded. "I'd like that. Let's see what we can find."

Meanwhile, Luz was heading back to the Owl House.

"Ugh! If magic's all about digging for slime balls, maybe I don't have the stomach for it," Luz groaned.

"You can do it! You can!" a female voice said.

"Mysterious voice of encouragement?" Luz asked, following the voice to reveal a girl with black hair, glasses, and black and purple robes. This was Willow. "No, little witch girl."

"You can do it. Even if you get a bad grade, it's not a reflection of you as a witch. And my parents are right. There are better opportunities on this track. Now, get to school!" Willow said, accidentally stepping on a flower. "Oh no! Oh, little friend! I'm sorry!"

Drawing a green magic circle, Willow healed the injured flower when suddenly another student, sitting atop some sort of cauldron, rolled by. She had similar robes and green hair with a splotch of brown in the middle. This was Amity.

"Hi, Amity," Willow said, not liking this at all.

"Uh, shouldn't you get to class early to prep your…" Before Amity could finish, Willow's cauldron spilled over to reveal some purple sludge with an eye in it. "Oh, Willow. You don't have anything to show, do you?"

"Witch drama," Luz gasped.

"This is why people call you Half-Witch Willow," Amity said when they heard a rattling from her cauldron. "Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you. Abomination, rise."

Emerging from the cauldron was a purple creature who leaned down towards Willow.

"You are… a star," it said, touching her forehead and making a star of slime.

"Aw. It's like mine. But much smaller and meaningless. As top student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it. Even you could get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower," Amity said as her abomination went back into the cauldron. "See you in class, superstar."

"See you in class, superstar," Willow mocked. "I hate when she does that. I hate making abominations. I hate getting bad grades. Ugh! I can't stand this anymore." Willow snapped as her eyes started to glow green, and large thorny roots shot out of the ground.

One of them flew towards Luz and grabbed her, causing her to scream as she landed across from Willow.

Back at the beach, Eda was tying up a sack full of eggs.

"Not a bad haul. That oviduct was loaded," Eda said.

"Aunt Eda, this is boring," Finn said.

"Yeah, we're already used to this. Plus, Jake, Stitch, Luz, and King should've come back by now with the food," Asher said as King walked back.

"Yeah, lose your apprentices, gain garbage eggs. Not a bad trade," King mocked.

"Did you come back with any food?" Asher asked.

"No, I didn't," King said, making the two boys groan in annoyance.

"I didn't lose anything," Eda scoffed.

"If you don't teach them something, you will, and that's when I come in. Make Luz, Jake, and Stitch my apprentices," King declared, causing Eda, Asher, and Finn to laugh.

"And what would you teach? How to get stuck in the arm of a sweater?" Eda mocked.

"Yeah, I can agree with her. What's this one thing you can teach, bro? I'm sorry, dude," Finn said.

"Yeah, you really can't teach anyone, if I'm being honest. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings," Asher said.

"Hey, that only happened once! I'd teach them about demons. How to identify them, talk to 'em, raise an army with them, and tear apart the world!" King said.

"After they tear you out of the sweater arm first, right?" Eda asked, making the two boys laugh.

"You think you're so smart! Well, why don't we make a little bet where I can prove that I'd make a better teacher?" King offered.

"Really?" Finn asked, raising his eyebrow.

"You know how Aunt Eda gets with bets, King," Asher said.

"Okay. I'm obligated to remind you that I only use our bets to utterly humiliate you," Eda said, reaching into her hair and pulling out a book called "Eda King One-Sided Wagers" and opening it to reveal King has never won. "And... that you've never won."

"I like those odds," King said.

"So how's this: teach this trash slug to be your loyal soldier in one day. Prove that you can be a better teacher than me, and the kids are all yours. But if you don't, I change your name from King to Mr. Wiggles," Eda said, picking up a slug egg.

"Well, when you lose, you'll have to... wear a shame hat and sleep in a shack and never come into the Owl House again! Ha!" King said.

"Deal," Eda said, holding up the book, and King stamped a paw print, sealing it.

Tossing the egg, it broke upon contact, and the trash slug landed in King's hands while Eda walked away laughing.

"This is not going to end well, is it?" Finn asked his brother.

"No, not at all," Asher said as they both followed Eda.

Back with Luz, Willow turned to face her. Fear engulfed Luz as she prepared for the worst when suddenly Willow's eyes returned to normal.

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I'm so sorry!" Willow gasped, running over and helping Luz free.

"It's okay. The thorns only went through a few layers of skin," Luz said as Willow examined her and saw her ears.

"So circly," Willow said, causing Luz to yelp and cover her ears. Willow gasped. "You're human. This is amazing! A human on the Boiling Isles! How did you get here?! What are you doing here?!" Willow asked excitedly. Then they heard a bell ring, causing her to become sad again. "I'm sorry. I can't stay. I have to go disappoint my teacher. It was nice to meet you, human."

"Wait!" Luz said, stopping her. "I'm Luz. And you're Willow, right? What you did with that flower and those plants, it was... wow."

"Thanks, but I'm not even supposed to be doing Plant Magic. My parents put me in the Abomination track at school," Willow sighed, causing Luz to squeal.

"Like, magic school? That's so cool! I'm so jealous. I have a teacher, but her lessons are a bit untraditional. I bet she wouldn't even let me enroll. But I wish I could spend one day there," Luz said.

"I wish I could get a passing grade for once. Then people would stop calling me Half-Witch Willow," Willow sighed, looking down at her abomination puddle.

"Hey, wait. I know how we can both get what we want. Make me your abomination. I'll get you a good grade, and you can get me into magic school. It's fiendishly clever," Luz grinned, slapping some abomination goo on herself.

"What?" Willow asked, shocked.

"I saw that girl's thing. It's just chunks of stuff that talks weird. I'm chunks of stuff, and I talk weird!" Luz said, causing Willow to giggle.

"That is true. Okay, it's a deal, Luz," Willow smiled.

"This is a good plan," Luz said as they shook hands, only to get stuck together.

"Oops, abomination goo," Willow said as they tried to free themselves.

Back at the market, Jake, Stitch, and Marina were helping her find some potions.

"Thanks for helping me out," Marina said, scanning the shelves. "I'm looking for a few specific potions to help with my research."

"No problem," Jake replied, picking up a bottle. "What kind of potions are you looking for?"

"I need a potion to enhance magical sensitivity and one to boost energy levels," Marina explained.

Stitch picked up a colorful vial and inspected it closely. "Does this one look good?"

Jake glanced at the label. "That's a Potion of Energy Boost. It should work for you. We just need to find the sensitivity enhancer."

As they continued searching, Marina suddenly spotted a bottle with a glowing label. "There it is! The Potion of Magical Sensitivity. Thanks again for helping me."

"Glad we could assist," Jake said, smiling. "Anything else you need?"

"That's it for now. Just need to make sure these potions are properly prepared," Marina said, gathering the items.

Stitch gave a thumbs-up. "All set!"

Just then, the old man they helped earlier walked up to them.

"Young man, I want to thank you for earlier," he said with a smile.

"Yeah, no problem. We were happy to help," Jake replied.

"May I ask what type of magic you use?" the old man asked.

"Um, well, I call it Astral Convergence magic," Jake said, summoning his starlight blade.

"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Principal Bump of Hexside," he said with a smile.

"Well, my name is Jake Evans, and this is Stitch, my dog," Jake said.

Stitch looked curious. "What is Hexside?"

"Hexside is a magic school," Marina explained. "It's where students learn and practice various types of magic."

"Sounds interesting," Jake said, glancing at Principal Bump. "What kind of students go there?"

Principal Bump chuckled. "A diverse group, each with unique magical talents and potentials. If you're interested, I could arrange a visit for you to see the school firsthand."

"That would be great!" Marina said excitedly.

"Thank you, Principal Bump. We'll definitely consider it," Jake added.

"You're welcome," Principal Bump said, nodding. "I'll look forward to meeting you at Hexside."

Back at the Owl House, King was trying to train his trash slug with treats.

"Aw, who's a good Prince Jr.? Who's a good guy?" King asked while Eda, Finn, and Asher sat nearby watching.

"Hey, Mr. Wiggles, you're not gonna teach it anything by doing that," Eda smirked.

"Why are you antagonizing him?" Finn asked.

"Because it's funny," Eda said.

"Whatever, I guess," Asher replied.

"It's called positive reinforcement, Eda. And it works wonders," King said as Prince Jr. ate the treat and grew a little in size. "Ha ha! See? Now watch this. Prince Jr.! Attack Eda! Knock over her drink! Mess up her hair!"

"Oh no, please stop," Eda mocked, but the slug just stood there.

"Do you need any help?" Finn asked, feeling a bit petty.

"No, I can do this by myself," King said, getting annoyed.

"Are you sure?" Asher asked.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!" King insisted.

"Well, I haven't seen your students in forever. For all we know, they're not even loyal to you anymore," King said as the slug ate the treat in his hand.

"You wish," Eda scoffed. "But yeah, where are they?" she asked.

"Yeah, we don't know. Last time you sent them off for food," Finn said.

"Yeah, they haven't come back yet," Asher added, just as Jake and Stitch walked in.

"What's going on here?" Jake asked, noticing the scene.

Stitch tried to eat King's trash slug, causing Jake to quickly intervene. "Stitch, no! That's not food!"

King sighed. "Well, since you're here, I guess you can help. We're trying to train Prince Jr. to do... something productive."

Jake raised an eyebrow. "It looks like you're having a tough time with it."

"Yeah, King's having trouble with positive reinforcement," Eda said with a smirk.

Jake glanced at King and then at the slug. "Let's see if we can figure this out together. Maybe there's a better way to motivate Prince Jr."

Stitch, meanwhile, eyed the treats curiously.

King shook his head. "No, I want to do this by myself. I need to win this bet and prove I can be a better teacher."

Jake sighed. "Alright, then. We'll leave you to it."

Turning away from King, Jake pulled out his phone to text Luz.

"Hey Luz, where are you? We could use your help back at the Owl House."

While waiting for a reply, Jake looked back at King, who was still trying to get Prince Jr. to perform tricks.

Asher leaned over to Jake. "Good luck with that. King's pretty stubborn when it comes to bets."

"Yeah, but I figured we could use all the help we can get," Jake said, glancing at the trash slug.

Just then, Jake's phone buzzed with Luz's response.

Luz texted Jake back, "Hey Jake! I'm actually at a magic school right now, helping a student with their experiment. I'll be here for a while."

Jake's eyes widened in shock. He quickly turned to Stitch. "Stitch, Luz is at a magic school! We need to head to Hexside right away."

Stitch nodded and followed Jake as they hurried out, making their way to Hexside to find Luz and get her help.

At Hexside, Jake and Stitch stood with Principal Bump, marveling at the impressive school.

"Welcome to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics," Bump declared as they walked in.

"Eegalagoo!" Jake and Stitch exclaimed in amazement, both blown away.

"So tell me, Jake, you seem pretty skilled in Astral Convergence magic. Are there any other kinds of magic you're learning?" Bump asked as they continued walking.

"Well, I'm learning to control it," Jake said, glancing at Stitch.

"Well, here at Hexside we have track courses for students to follow: Abomination, Bard, Beast Keeping, Construction, Healing, Illusions, Oracle, Plants, Potions…" Bump listed as they walked through the halls, noticing that students wore different colored uniforms depending on their track.

"Hm, those are pretty cool but not really the kind of magic I'm used to," Jake admitted.

"Stitch loves this!" Stitch said, walking right next to Jake.

"That's because I saved the best track for last," Bump smirked as they approached a group of students with azure sleeves casting elemental spells. "This is the Elemental Track."

"What's the Elemental Track?" Jake asked as Marina walked over to them with a stack of books.

"Hi, Jake! Hi, Stitch!" Marina greeted. "The Elemental Track focuses on controlling the elements—fire, water, earth, and air. It's one of the most advanced tracks here."

"Sounds impressive!" Jake said, looking intrigued.

"Definitely," Marina agreed. "We've been working on some pretty cool experiments lately. If you're interested, I can show you around."

"Great! We'd love to see more," Jake said, excited.

"Awesome!" Marina said, leading them through the school. "We've got some fantastic experiments going on right now. For example, one of our students is working on a fire-water fusion spell."

"Fire-water fusion?" Jake repeated, intrigued.

"Yeah, it's tricky," Marina explained. "Combining those elements can create some unique effects. We've had some exciting breakthroughs recently."

As they walked, Marina pointed out various classrooms. "Here's the Potions Lab, where students brew all sorts of concoctions. And over there is the Healing Room, where students learn to mend injuries and ailments."

Stitch's eyes widened at the sight of a classroom full of bubbling potions. "Stitch want to try!"

"Maybe later," Jake said, chuckling. "What's next on the tour?"

Marina led them to the Elemental Track's main hall, where students were practicing their spells. "This is where students in the Elemental Track refine their abilities. You can see them working on manipulating elements in various ways."

Jake watched in awe as a student conjured a swirling tornado and another created a burst of flame. "This is incredible. I've never seen magic like this before."

"I'm glad you're impressed!" Marina said with a smile. "If you're interested in learning more, maybe you could sit in on a few classes or even try your hand at some spells."

"That sounds amazing," Jake said. "I'd love to learn more about how you guys do things here."

"Great! I'll arrange for a few demo sessions for you," Marina offered. "In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions you might have."

"Thanks, Marina," Jake said, genuinely excited. "We're looking forward to exploring more of Hexside."

"Me too!" Marina said enthusiastically. "Let's get started!"

"Before we do any of that, there's someone I'd like you to meet," Principal Bump said as Amity walked by. "Miss Blight, come here."

Hearing the Principal, Amity rushed over. "Yes, sir?" she asked excitedly.

"I'd like you to meet Jake Evans," Bump said.

"Don't forget Stitch," Stitch added.

"Yes, yes, whatever, and Stitch," Bump said, brushing it off. "Would you mind telling this young man why our school is the best?"

"That's easy! Because every student here has everything they need to reach their full potential and are willing to do whatever it takes—wait, what's with your ears?" Amity asked, suddenly noticing Jake's round ears.

"Uh, what's wrong?" Jake asked, confused.

"You are a witch, aren't you?" Amity asked suspiciously.

"No, no, I'm not. I'm human, actually. I'm trying to become a wizard. Stitch and I are..." Jake said, holding Stitch up to her.

"Well, this is interesting for a wizard student," Bump said, intrigued.

"So, if I became a student here, I'd learn lots of things that would make me a better witch—or wizard, I guess?" Jake asked.

"As long as you can keep up with the work," Amity replied.

"It was nice meeting you, Amity. Stitch and I have to find our friend," Jake said as he and Stitch started to leave, waving goodbye to Marina.

As Jake and Stitch were looking for Luz, they walked down a hall, not noticing Willow heading toward the lockers with her cauldron.

Further down the hall, a brown-skinned witch in light blue clothes walked over, reading a magazine. "Willow, you would not believe humans," he said.

"Humans? Psh. I haven't seen any. What?" Willow responded nervously.

"Did you know that humans nail barbed wire to their kids' teeth? But why? Maybe to make them magnetic," he said, showing Willow a picture of a teenager with braces.

"Actually, it's for storing treats," Luz's voice came from the cauldron.

"Okay, Augustus, I'm going to tell you something, but you have to be cool," Willow warned.

"I can be spool—I-I-I mean cool," Augustus stammered.

"Abomination, rise!" Willow said as Luz emerged from the cauldron, covered in abomination goo.

"Ta-da! I'm an abomination!" Luz declared.

"Luz, that's not how abominations act," Willow said, as Augustus dropped his magazine in shock.

"No. No, it, it couldn't be," Augustus muttered, stunned.

"He's the president of the Human Appreciation Society. Most witches wouldn't be able to recognize a human right away, but Augustus is an expert," Willow explained.

"I knew an Augustus back in the human world. We called him Gus," Luz said.

"Gus? Nickname? Human nickname? Call me Gus. Wow, Gus," Augustus said, before pausing. "Wait, we? Are there others with you?"

"Yeah! My best friend Jake, and we also have a pet alien named Stitch. He's super cute and fluffy. You guys would love them," Luz said, causing both Willow and Gus to gasp.

"Your friend Jake and a pet alien named Stitch? This is amazing!" Gus exclaimed, eyes wide with excitement. "I have to meet them!"

"They should be around here somewhere," Luz said, looking around. "We were supposed to meet up, but we got a little sidetracked."

Just then, Jake and Stitch turned a corner and spotted Luz. "Luz! There you are!" Jake called out, relieved.

"Luz! Luz!" Stitch echoed, running up to her and giving her a big hug.

"Luz, who's this?" Willow asked, eyeing Jake and Stitch curiously.

"Willow, this is Jake and Stitch," Luz introduced. "Nice to meet you," Willow said, smiling warmly.

"Gus, this is Jake and Stitch," Luz added. "They're the ones I was telling you about."

"Wow! A human and an alien in one day? This is the best day ever!" Gus said, practically bouncing with excitement.

"You're right! He *is* fluffy," Willow said, petting Stitch.

"You guys have to come to the Human Appreciation Society meeting! It's going to be so much fun!" Gus said eagerly.

"That sounds awesome," Jake said, smiling. "We'd love to check it out."

"Yeah, Stitch loves fun," Stitch chimed in, nodding eagerly.

"Great! Follow me," Gus said, leading the way. "You won't believe all the cool stuff we have about humans!"

As they walked, Willow turned to Luz. "I'm glad you found your friends. It's been a crazy day, but it's nice to see you all together."

"Yeah, it's been wild," Luz agreed. "But I'm glad we met you guys. I think we're going to have some great adventures here."

"Definitely," Jake said, looking around the bustling school. "Hexside seems like an amazing place."

"And it's about to get even more interesting with you guys here," Gus said, grinning. "Let's go make some memories!"

But then the bell demon screamed.

"I've gotta get to Spelling class. See you guys at lunch!" Gus said, waving goodbye.

"Alright. Into the darkness you go," Willow said as Luz, hissing, went inside.

"Alright then, Luz, please don't get into any trouble," Jake said.

"No promises," Luz said from inside the cauldron.

Jake just sighed, then turned to Stitch. "Come on, let's see what Marina is up to."

"Okie-taka," Stitch said as they walked away.

As Jake and Stitch walked down the hall, they spotted Marina in a classroom, studying a potion book.

"Hey, Marina!" Jake called out, waving as they approached her.

"Hi, Jake! Hi, Stitch!" Marina greeted them with a smile. "What brings you two here?"

"We were just checking in on Luz," Jake explained. "And now we're curious about what you're working on."

"I'm trying to perfect a new potion for enhancing magical abilities," Marina said, showing them the book. "It's a bit tricky, but I think I'm getting the hang of it."

"Stitch wants to help!" Stitch said eagerly, his eyes wide with excitement.

"That's sweet of you, Stitch," Marina said with a laugh. "I could definitely use an extra pair of hands. Or, in your case, paws."

Jake nodded. "We'd love to help. What do you need us to do?"

Marina handed them a list of ingredients. "We need to gather these items from the supply room. It's just down the hall."

"Got it," Jake said, taking the list. "Come on, Stitch. Let's go find these ingredients."

As they left the classroom, Stitch glanced up at Jake. " stitch Think we can do this?"

Jake grinned. "Absolutely. Let's get to it."

In Abomination 101, all the students presented their abominations to the teacher.

"Hmm too many toes in unexpected places. Fail!" The teacher said as the student went back to her desk. "Pathetic! The biggest abominations are all of you! If the next abomination is a failure, everyone gets extra homework for a month!"

"Not again!" The students groan.

"And the next student is…" The teacher said when Amity raised her hand.

"Excuse me, sir, but I am ready to present my abomination. Rise!" Amity said as her abomination rose striking a pose causing the teacher to chuckle.

"I've always saved the best for last, Amity. You'll have to wait your turn. How about... Willow." The teacher said causing the class to groan again.

"Not Half‐a‐Witch."

"Great. Homework for a month."

As Willow was dying of embarrassment, Luz popped her head out.

"Don't listen to them, Willow. We can do this." Luz whispers.

Smiling softly, Willow brought her cauldron to the front.

"Uh, abomination rise." Willow said as Luz leaps out of the cauldron.

"Tada!" Luz said shocking everyone, especially Amity.

"Abomination, bow." Willow said as Luz bowed.

"Very impressive. But does it speak?" The teacher asks.

"Uh, I may be your abomination, but you're my a‐mom‐ination." Luz said hugging Willow.

"Aww." The students said loving this causing the teacher to laugh.

"A-mom-ination. Splendid wordplay A plus." The teacher said drawing an A on Luz's forehead.

When the bell screamed, Willow walks out of class with Luz in her cauldron.

"Wonderful work today, Willow. Looks like we have a new top student." The teacher said shocking Amity.

"What?" Amity gasps as he took her top student star and gave it to Willow. "But—"

"Thank you sir." Willow smiles when Amity walks up to her.

"Last time I saw you, your abomination was mush. What did you do?" Amity glares.

"I uh took your pep talk to heart." Willow said nervously.

"I bet you did. I've got my eyes on you, Half‐a‐Witch. That badge is mine." Amity said walking away giving her the "I'm watching you" sign with her fingers.

"Uh oh. I think Amity is onto us." Willow gulps.

Jake and Stitch made their way to the supply room, following Marina's list of ingredients. They entered the room, which was filled with shelves stacked high with various magical items and potions.

"Okay, let's see," Jake said, reading the list. "We need dragon scales, moonflower petals, and unicorn horn powder."

Stitch immediately started sniffing around, using his keen senses to locate the items. "Stitch find moonflower petals!" he said, grabbing a jar filled with glowing blue petals.

"Great job, Stitch!" Jake said, taking the jar from him and placing it in their basket. "Now we need dragon scales and unicorn horn powder."

They continued searching the shelves until Jake spotted a container labeled "Dragon Scales." He reached up and grabbed it, adding it to their collection.

"Now for the unicorn horn powder," Jake muttered, scanning the shelves. "There it is!" He reached for a small vial filled with sparkling powder and carefully placed it in the basket.

"All set?" Stitch asked, looking up at Jake with a hopeful expression.

"Yep, we've got everything," Jake confirmed. "Let's head back to Marina."

They returned to Marina's classroom and handed her the basket of ingredients. "Here you go. Everything you asked for," Jake said.

"Thank you so much!" Marina said, taking the basket. "With these, I can finish the potion. You two are lifesavers."

"Happy to help," Jake replied with a smile.

Stitch nodded enthusiastically. "Akatoo-kee!"

Marina began mixing the ingredients, carefully following the instructions in her book. "This potion should enhance magical abilities for a short period. It's going to be amazing."

"Can't wait to see it in action," Jake said, watching her work.

As Marina continued her preparations, Jake's phone buzzed with a message from Luz. He quickly read it and then turned to Marina and Stitch.

"Luz says she's having a blast pretending to be an abomination. Looks like everything is going well," Jake reported.

Marina chuckled. cool

"Yeah, Jake agreed. "So, what's next?"

"Once the potion is ready, we can test it out," Marina said. "But it needs to simmer for a bit. In the meantime, why don't we explore the school a little more?"

"Sounds like a plan," Jake said. "Lead the way."

The trio set off to explore more of Hexside, eager to see what other magical wonders the school had to offer.

At the Owl House, Eda swung open the door, causing Hooty to smack into the wall.

"Have you seen Luz, Jake, or the little blue furball?" Eda asked.

"I heard her tiny mouse feet walking close by. Or that might've been some mice. Anyway, someone started moving in that direction. Hoo, hoo-hoo, hoo," Hooty said, nudging his head.

"Are you trying to point or—"

"Look at the weather vane!" Hooty exclaimed, as Eda turned to see where it was pointing.

"But the only thing in that direction is..." Eda gasped before taking off running. "No, no, no, no, no!" she yelled, heading toward Hexside.

Peeking through the window, she saw a preschool class in session.

"Alright, class, recite your runes," the teacher said.

"Krom, Zix, Elgrim, Zenomide," the kids recited.

"No! Blind obedience!" Eda muttered as she moved to the next window to check on the high school classes.

"Heximal system time! Let's get memorizing!" the teacher announced, as the students took notes.

"No! Pointless busywork!" Eda groaned, and when she looked into the next room, she saw Luz and Willow writing notes. "No! Why?! School!" Eda said in horror.

Soon, lunchtime came, and Marina led Jake and Stitch to the cafeteria.

"This is our cafeteria," Marina said as Jake looked around in amazement while Stitch's mouth watered.

"Stitch want food!" Stitch exclaimed as his extra arms popped out, and his antennae extended. He immediately started eating everyone's food in the cafeteria.

"Hey, hey! Stitch, stop!" Jake called out, running after him.

"Sorry about that," Jake said, catching up to Stitch and trying to pull him away from the food. "He's a bit of a foodie."

"Don't worry about it," Marina said with a chuckle. "It's not uncommon for new students to get a little excited. I'll help you get some food for him."

As Marina went to grab some food, Jake tried to calm Stitch down. "Stitch, you can't just eat everyone's lunch. We need to be polite."

Stitch looked up with apologetic eyes. "Sorry, Jake. Stitch very hungry."

Marina returned with a tray of food for Stitch. "Here you go. This should keep him satisfied."

"Thanks, Marina," Jake said gratefully, taking the tray and handing it to Stitch.

Stitch happily started eating the food from the tray. "Yum, good food!"

As Jake, Stitch, and Marina found a table, Jake's eyes widened when he saw Luz, covered in slime, emerge from a cauldron.

"Hey, do humans eat PB ?" Gus asked.

"Oh my gosh, I haven't eaten all day. Please give me some," Luz said, as Gus split his sandwich in half and Luz eagerly ate hers.

"I don't know, Gus. If Amity saw that—"

"I saw that!" Before Willow could finish, Amity leaped in front of them.

"Hey, it's that girl from earlier," Jake said, surprised.

"What's she doing to Luz? No one hurts Ohana!" Stitch growled.

"Okay, come on. Excuse us," Jake said as he and Stitch ran over.

"Abominations don't eat! I know you're in there! You can't hide from me. What are you? Who are you? I want answers!" Amity shouted, reaching into the cauldron and shaking it, weirding out all the other students.

"Amity Blight!" the Abomination teacher said, walking over. "I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this, this is just sad."

"But I—Look at it!" Amity said, as Luz groaned, playing dumb.

"Report to Principal Bump's office," the teacher ordered, pointing firmly.

"But—"

"Now!" the teacher insisted, and Amity left, grumbling.

"Phew, that was close," Willow said as Jake and Stitch walked over.

"Excuse me, can I have a word with you two? And your 'Abomination,' if you don't mind?" Jake said, doing air quotes.

"Plus, Luz, you're making Stitch upset," Jake added.

Willow looked between Jake and Stitch, clearly concerned. "Sorry about that. Amity can be a bit intense when it comes to abominations."

Luz, still covered in slime, gave a weak wave. "Hey, Jake. Stitch. I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I just needed some food, and Gus was kind enough to share."

Jake raised an eyebrow. "I get that, but you have to be careful. Amity's not exactly friendly with newcomers, especially ones she thinks are breaking the rules."

Stitch nodded in agreement. "Stitch don't like trouble."

"Yeah, I'm starting to see that," Luz said, wiping some slime off her face. "I just wanted to blend in a bit, you know? But I guess that didn't go as planned."

Marina stepped in, trying to ease the tension. "It's okay. Let's just try to keep a low profile for now. We don't want to attract more unwanted attention."

Jake nodded. "Agreed. So, Marina, what's next on the agenda? Hopefully something less messy."

"Well, we could explore the library or check out some of the other tracks," Marina suggested. "Maybe that will help us avoid any more… incidents."

Willow smiled slightly. "I can show you around if you'd like. I know the school well."

"Thanks, Willow," Jake said. "That would be really helpful."

"Great," Willow said, leading the way. "Let's go. And Luz, try to clean up a bit before we head out, okay?"

"Got it," Luz said, quickly starting to clean herself off. "I'll be ready in just a sec."

As Luz finished, the group set off to explore the rest of Hexside, hoping for a smoother experience.

At the Owl House, King's Trash Slug had grown exponentially since Eda left, and Finn and Asher were watching him.

"Roll over!" King commanded, tossing treats. "Yes! Heel!" But instead, the creature followed him, and King kept feeding it treats. Just then, Eda walked over.

"So, did you find your runaway students? By your expression, I can tell Luz, Jake, and Stitch have gone and found themselves someplace else to learn. Which means I have won!" King cheered, tossing all his treats into the air, which the slug eagerly devoured.

"Yes, great, you won. You have a giant soldier thing, and I have nothing. Congrats!" Eda said sarcastically.

"Well, I didn't see that coming," Finn said.

"Well, you know what that means, Aunt Eda?" Asher said with a smirk.

"Oh, Eda. Don't say that. At least you have this!" King said, pulling out a dunce cap with the word "Shame" on it.

Growling, Eda took the hat and went to the shed.

"I am so funny!" King cackled as his slug came up to him. "Ah, well, Prince Jr., training complete. Go forth! Make the world tremble at your feet—or worm stubs." But the Trash Slug did not move. "Go forth? Ah, right." King reached to grab a treat but found he was out.

Growling, Prince Jr. glared at him, causing King to scream in fear.

"Oh great," Finn and Asher said in unison before summoning their owl staffs.

In an empty classroom, Jake, Stitch, Luz, and their friends were talking when Principal Bump walked in.

"P-Principal Bump?" Willow said, surprised.

"Uh, hi, sir," Jake said.

"Ah, Jake, I see you were curious as well," Bump said, looking at Luz, who was playing dumb.

"Hmm. Abomination, rise," Bump ordered as Luz stood up. "Abomination, lie."

"Uh, viral fame is a worthy pursuit. Your cat would never eat you if it got the chance. Chemtrails are really—" Luz said, causing Bump to chuckle.

"Oh, no, abomination. How strange for it to get the command wrong. I mean lie down," Bump said, pointing to a desk.

Cringing, Luz walked over and lay down on the table.

"So very lifelike. When Miss Blight told me about your abomination, I had to come by and see what she's made of," Bump said.

"Oh, I have her list of ingredients right here," Willow said, reaching for her pocket.

"No, we were hoping for a closer look," Bump said, taking out a dagger, causing Luz, Stitch, and Jake to look in horror.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're just gonna shove a dagger into it? Just like that?" Jake asked.

"Don't worry, Jake. It's not like it can feel anything. Willow, I'll allow you the first cut," Bump said, handing her the dagger.

"Uh, you can't just cut open a human, can you?" Gus whispered, but Jake shook his head in panic.

"Willow, go ahead and make the first incision," Bump said.

"Uh, hey, Principal Bump!" Gus said, getting his attention. "High five!" Gus said, knocking over three cauldrons. Five abominations groaned and came at Bump. "Run!"

Seizing the chance, Jake grabbed Luz and Willow, and they ran out with Stitch and Marina behind them.

"They're getting away!" Amity pointed.

"They won't get far," Bump said, drawing a magic circle on the wall and pressing against it to activate the security system.

"I'm so going to get expelled," Marina said.

"If you get expelled, I know a great teacher," Jake said.

Running down the hall, they panted.

"I think we lost them," Jake said.

"This is all my fault, Willow. I just wanted to see what a real magic school was like," Luz said.

"Well, what did you think?" Willow asked.

"Well, before our Principal was about to dissect Luz, it was awesome," Jake said.

"Very lovely," Luz agreed.

"Let's just get you three out of here," Marina said.

"Yeah, she's right. Let's get you out before—" Before Willow could finish, seals appeared all over the school. "Bump sealed us in," Willow cringed in horror.

"Crabba snabba," Stitch said, panicking.

At the Owl House, Eda was in the shed feeling horrible when suddenly King opened the door and ran to her.

"Help me, help me, help me!" King whimpered as Prince Jr. banged against the door.

"Trouble with your student?" Eda smirked.

"Yes! Yes!" King said.

"And Finn and Asher are trying to fight it off," King added.

"Are you sure you need my help? Maybe he only wants more of your brilliant lessons," Eda said when Prince Jr. broke down the door and roared at them, grabbing King by his little tail.

"Please help me! You can call me Mr. Wiggles!" King begged, being dragged away.

Smiling, Eda took off her hat and grabbed her staff, slamming it into the slug's face, causing it to let go of King and slither back outside.

"Okay, Mr. Wiggles, here's what we gotta do," Eda said. Looking out the window, she saw Finn using his wind magic and Asher using his lightning magic to fight off and hold back Prince Jr.

"Finn, Asher, keep it busy! I'm going to need you both to create a distraction while I take care of this," Eda called out to them.

"We're on it, Aunt Eda!" Asher shouted, summoning a bright bolt of lightning to distract Prince Jr.

Finn conjured a powerful gust of wind, deflecting the slug's attacks. "Hurry, Eda! We can't hold it off forever!"

Eda nodded, focusing her magic. "Alright, time to put an end to this," she said, casting a powerful spell.

Prince Jr. roared in anger, but Eda's spell hit it squarely, shrinking it back to its original size. The slug whimpered and slithered away into the bushes.

"Well, that takes care of that," Eda said, dusting off her hands.

"Thanks, Eda. You're a lifesaver," King said, hugging her leg.

"No problem, Mr. Wiggles," Eda smirked. "Now, let's make sure this doesn't happen again. No more overfeeding your 'students,' okay?"

King nodded vigorously. "Got it. No more treats for Prince Jr."

"Good," Eda said, patting him on the head. "Now, let's clean up this mess."

Finn and Asher walked over, relieved. "Nice work, Eda," Finn said.

"Yeah, that was amazing!" Asher added.

"Just another day at the Owl House," Eda said with a grin. "Now, let's get back to our normal chaos."

Back at Hexside, Jake, Stitch, Luz, Marina, and Willow were running down the halls when Bump caught up with them, abominations at his side.

"They're too fast! We need to slow them down!" Willow said.

"Anybody know any spells?" Marina asked.

"Stitch, let's destroy some abominations," Jake said, activating his Astral Convergence magic and summoning his Starlight Blade.

"Okie-taka!" Stitch said, bracing for battle.

Jake swung his Starlight Blade at the approaching abominations, slicing through them with ease. Stitch used his incredible strength and agility to take down several more, sending parts flying.

Luz pulled out her plasma blaster and started firing at the abominations. "This should buy us some time!"

"Good thinking, Luz!" Jake said, swinging his blade again.

Marina and Willow worked together, combining their magic to create a barrier that slowed down the abominations and Bump. "This won't hold them for long!" Willow warned.

"Then let's keep moving!" Jake urged. "We need to find a way out of here!"

As they ran down another corridor, they spotted an exit door at the end of the hall. "There! That's our way out!" Marina pointed.

"Almost there!" Luz said, but just as they were about to reach the door, more abominations blocked their path.

"We can't fight them all!" Willow said, panicking.

"We don't have to," Jake said, raising his blade. "Stitch and I will clear the way. Luz, Willow, Marina, get ready to make a break for it!"

With renewed determination, Jake and Stitch charged at the abominations, clearing a path to the exit door. Luz, Willow, and Marina followed closely behind.

As they burst through the door, Bump's voice echoed down the hall. "You won't escape that easily!"

"We're almost out!" Marina said, urging everyone forward.

Jake, still holding his Starlight Blade, glanced back at Bump. "We're not giving up! Let's go, everyone!"

Jake let out a powerful slash with his Starlight Blade, sending three more abominations flying out the same window that Bump saw his old friend blasted people out of.

"That was amazing," Willow said before frowning. "Wow, even a human is better at using magic than me. I can't do anything right. Amity's right; I'll always be Half-a-Witch Willow."

"No, you're not. Cut the nonsense. Amity is wrong about you. You're not half a witch; you're a full witch. Your plant magic is incredible. You just need to believe in yourself," Jake said.

"Yeah, Stitch thinks Willow strong," Stitch said with a smile.

"Jake and Stitch are right. You're Full-Witch-Willow, and you're great. And someone once told us great witches are resourceful," Luz said, taking out the slimeball Eda gave her.

"That's it," Willow smiled, taking it.

"You actually want that greasy slimeball?" Jake asked.

"Can Stitch eat it?" Stitch asked.

"No!" they all said.

"Okay," Stitch said.

"It's a seed. Thank goodness you had it on you," Willow said.

"Yeah, good thing someone told me to," Luz smiled.

"We have a pretty good teacher," Jake said.

"Come on, little seed," Willow said, creating a magic circle around it. Suddenly, giant thorny vines shot out of it and spread all over the halls, pinning Principal Bump to the wall.

As he looked down, he saw Willow had completely covered the school in vines.

"Remarkable," Bump said.

"There's the exit!" Luz pointed as they ran to it, only to be stopped by Amity.

"Not so fast!" Amity growled, surprising them. "I'm not letting you get away that easily! I want my badge! Abominations, seize!" Amity ordered as more abominations attacked them.

Using his Starlight Blade, Jake sliced one in half, but it grew back.

"Jake, what are you doing helping these people? You could walk away from all this," Bump called out, causing Jake to pause. "Be the most powerful wizard in the Boiling Isles. It's time to act like one. Join Hexside."

Jake looked at Luz and then at Stitch. "You think I would join you after you tried to hurt my ohana? No one hurts my ohana," Jake said, his Starlight Blade glowing brighter and brighter. His body began to radiate with a constellation of stars.

Principal Bump's eyes widened in surprise. "What—what is this?"

"Jake, be careful!" Luz shouted as the glowing aura around Jake intensified, making it clear that his magic was reaching a new level.

Jake focused his energy, and his Starlight Blade pulsed with a dazzling light. "I'm not just going to stand by while you try to harm my friends. This ends now."

Bump and the abominations recoiled as Jake's magic surged. The hallways trembled with the power emanating from him, and the vines Willow had conjured seemed to react to the raw energy, growing even more aggressive.

"Stitch, help Willow and Marina get to the exit," Jake instructed, his voice resolute. "I'll handle Bump and his abominations."

As Stitch nodded and hurried to assist Willow and Marina, Luz stayed close to Jake, ready to support him.

"Jake, we believe in you!" Luz said.

With a final surge of power, Jake unleashed a blinding wave of starlight from his blade, cutting through the abominations and forcing Bump to retreat.

"You'll regret this!" Bump shouted as he struggled against the vines.

"We'll see about that," Jake said, his determination unwavering.

Eyes widening, Amity watched in shock as Jake's blade sliced through all the abominations and knocked her to the ground. She stared, amazed at Jake's power.

"Impossible," Amity whispered to herself, still stunned.

Outside Hexside, Jake, Stitch, Luz, Willow, and Marina took a deep breath.

"Come on, you guys need to go," Willow said, urgency in her voice.

"She's right. You need to leave now," Marina added.

"But what about you two?" Luz asked, concern evident.

"I might get detention, but you'll face much worse if you stay," Willow said.

"Yeah, that's just the start of the problems," Marina said, giggling despite the situation.

"Alright, see you later, girls. Come on, Stitch," Jake said, leading the way as they all headed out.

As they walked away, Marina watched them go and muttered to herself, "Jake Evans, you're one interesting human."

At the Owl House, Eda, King, Finn, and Asher were cleaning up after the fight with Prince Jr.

"Next time, King, if you want to mentor a student, please pick a demon," Finn said.

"How many times do I have to say I'm sorry?" King replied.

"Well, we all know now—don't bet with Aunt Eda," Asher said.

"Agreed," Eda said, tossing a cleaning cloth aside. "And next time, maybe just stick to teaching your little trash slug some tricks rather than risking the entire house."

"Yeah, yeah," King grumbled, "I get it. I'll be more careful."

"And let's hope Prince Jr. doesn't get too used to this place," Finn added, looking around at the mess.

"I'll make sure of it," Eda said, smiling. "Now, let's finish up here and make sure everything's back to normal."

As they continued cleaning, King muttered, "Maybe I should just stick to helping out in less chaotic ways."

"That's the spirit," Finn said, clapping him on the back. "Let's get this done and move on to our next adventure."

"EDA!" Jake, Stitch, and Luz yelled as they ran over, and Luz hugged her.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey! What is this? Ugh! I never understand when you do this," Eda said.

"Your lesson worked! Keeping junk in my pocket saved my life! But wait, my new friends—they're in danger," Luz gasped.

"Luz!" Willow yelled as Marina and Gus ran over and hugged her, Jake, Stitch, and Luz.

"Seriously? What is that?" Eda asked.

"You guys are okay," Jake smiled.

"You won't believe it. Everything is perfect now," Willow said.

"It's true we don't," Luz added.

"Principal Bump was so impressed by my plant work he's switching me to the plant magic track! Look!" Willow snapped her fingers, and her purple sleeves turned green.

"You know what? It suits you," Jake smiled.

"Bootifa ," Stitch said.

"Wait, what about Amity?" Luz asked.

"Last we saw, she was asking Bump if today could count as extra credit," Gus said.

"Oh boy," Jake rolled his eyes as Stitch growled softly.

"Well, I can't wait to see you in action next time I sneak in," Luz said, causing Willow to cringe.

"Uh, about that, you're kinda…sorta banned," Gus said, showing a banned poster of Luz.

"That's my girl!" Eda cheered before looking at Jake and Stitch. "What about you two? Bump was giving you a personal tour."

"Well, I might have yelled in his face and sent a powerful wave of my Astral Convergence magic, which sent him and his abominations crashing into a wall," Jake admitted, causing Eda to gasp and put a hand to her heart.

"This is… the best day of my life! Ha! My kids are here to stay!" Eda cheered.

"But we could come here and teach you what we learned," Willow offered.

"Thanks, but we have an awesome teacher already," Luz said.

"Yeah, that's right. Luz, Stitch, and Jake are my students. Back off, academy twerps," Eda said, picking up the wanted poster. "Ah, baby's first wanted poster. Good job, kid. Looks like I taught you something after all."

As Gus and Willow walked away and Eda, King, Luz, Finn, and Asher walked inside, Jake reached into his pocket and held up the silver dollar he had pulled out. "Guess this thing was onto something. Sticking with Eda is where I need to be," Jake smiled before pocketing it—until Marina stopped him.

Marina approached Jake with a curious look. "Hey, Jake, I couldn't help but notice that silver dollar. What's the story behind it?"

Jake looked at the coin thoughtfully. "It's a reminder. Back when I first started my journey, I found this coin in a really odd place. It was like a sign that I was on the right path. And today, it feels like everything's come full circle."

Marina nodded, impressed. "That's a cool story. Well, I'm glad things worked out for you all."

Stitch, still buzzing with excitement, tugged on Jake's sleeve. "Jake, Akootah! Akootah! Akootah!"

"Okay, okay! See you around, Marina," Jake said as he and Stitch headed inside.

Marina waved at them with a smile as Jake and Stitch headed inside. "Take care, you two! See you around!"

Once they were inside, Jake looked at Stitch, who was still bouncing with excitement. "You really enjoyed that, huh?" Jake chuckled.

"Stitch love new friends!" Stitch said, his antennas twitching with energy.

Jake grinned. "Yeah, me too. I think we're finally starting to settle in here."
