Im bringing home dinner. Hopefully you show up and get over yourself." Nathan texted his brother. As he pulled into the latest pizza place.
He soon got a text from his brother making it clear he wouldn't be home tonight. Nathan sighed deeply.
He entered the pizza place and waited in line. As he cellphone lit up with a picture message from his girlfriend Haley James. The two had been together since freshman year.
They were as in love as two teenagers could be.

Karen arrived back at the house to find Deb in the living room.
"I'm sorry you had to hear that outburst from Lucas."
"I don't think he actually believes any of what he said. Brooke coming here wasn't what he wanted. He doesn't do well with strangers but i couldn't turn that girl away. We both agreed." Karen proclaimed.
"We did and i know that was the right choice."
"You're loving supportive insightful."
"You're the grounding force in this home and i've come to really appreciate that and you." Deb said.
"Thank you. You're alot more tough and smart then you give yourself credit for."
"I wouldn't want to raise our sons with anyone else." Karen admitted.
Deb reached over and hugged her again.
"You're my best friend." Deb said.
The expression on Karen's face softened.
"You're mine too." Karen replied.
Deb leaned over and kissed her.
Karen was stunned.
Deb quickly broke the kiss and went back into her room.

Brooke found the boy called Lucas at the bridge.
It was only then did she see his musles and his tattoos.
"Are you okay? You seemed upset when you just took off?" Brooke questioned.
"Why do you care? How i feel what i think?" Lucas questioned.
"I'm guarded and have my own stuff going on."
"I thought maybe we could be friends."
"I'm new here and need to leave my past there." Brooke replied.
"Why did you come to live here?" Lucas asked.
Brooke took a deep breath and looked to him.
"My mom's in prison and my dad well he's off on a business trip or traveling. Neither of them have ever made being my parent a priority. I've basically raised myself."
"It's actually alot more lonely then you would think."
"I need to make this arragement work. I don't want to go back to being alone again." Brooke admitted.
The expression on Lucas's face softened.
