I parked and stopped the car.

"Come on," I told the twins as I left the car.

Once inside, I looked around. Dust had accumulated as Sharon was on the run. With a flick of my fingers the living-room became clean.

"Is it where you grew up?" Pietro asked, a picture in his hand.

"Yeah, when my parents died and my grandparents got custody of me. I lived there from age five to sixteen."

"Why did you take us there?" I looked at Wanda.

"I thought we might talk before going back to the Compound and explain everything to everyone." I leaned against the wall while Pietro and her sat down on the couch. "I mean, there are things we need to discuss after all."

"Why didn't you arrive earlier?" There wasn't anger in her voice, just resignation. She just wanted to know why.

"Because when Thanos attacked the ship, he stabbed me in the heart and killed me. My body was floating with Thor not letting go of me until the Guardians found us."

"So you were actually dead," Pietro said in shock.

"Very. I…" I looked around. "I guess I was in the purgatory and was sent here, where my family was. My parents, my grandparents, and I completely broke down in my grandmother's arms." I pointed at the entrance. "Right there. And to be fair, I didn't want to come back at all." They both raised wide eyes to me. "I've fought all my life and kept making mistakes, why would I come back, especially if it meant Thanos could kill me again and get the Reality Stone. My grandma...she's the one who told me that making mistakes was human, and that fixing them made you better. The Stone though...it gave me a choice to come back or not, and ultimately I did and woke up before Thor got Stormbreaker. The Stone...finished changing what was changing in me since 2013. So I went to Norway to fix Thor's hammer, which was broken by his sister. It took some time, and when I arrived in Wakanda, I felt Vision and you. When I was flying, I was sent back because of the Time Stone. I knew we'd need all the powers we could get, so I chose to fix the hammer. I'm sorry it cost Vision his life, and I'll live with that for the rest of my life, but it doesn't mean I'm not grieving as well."

"Nobody seemed to care," she whispered in a broken voice.

"A lot of things have been happening since the battle," Pietro told her gently. "It's not we're not grieving, it's…"

"Keeping ourselves busy to avoid thinking about it, at least for me." I walked to the dresser and took a picture from it. Grandma, Grandpa, Howard and Jarvis and his wife I could not remember the name of.

I gave it to Wanda. She looked at it without understanding.

"The man holding the red-head by the waist is Edwin Jarvis." She blinked at me while Pietro frowned at the picture. "He was in the British military during WWII, then discharged and found by Howard Stark, who hired him as his butler. Eventually, he became a life-long friend of his, and then of my grandparents, then became an uncle figure to Tony and my dad. He passed away when I was ten. Tony then invented JARVIS, the AI, who was a butler and was also British."

"He replaced him?" Pietro asked in confusion.

"Grief is hard for everyone, sometimes we just want to honor someone's dear to us memory. JARVIS was a part of the family and I grew up with him. Then Ultron happened. So, we had to mourn again. Then Vision was born. He wasn't entirely JARVIS, but was a little. No matter what you're thinking of us at the moment, we care about Vision. He was one of us, a member of this weird family and…" I took a deep breath when tears blurred my sight. "It's not fair of you to say we don't care. You're grieving, but you don't have to do it alone." I sniffed.

Wanda put the picture on the coffee table and walked up to me, tears in her eyes as well.

"I'm sorry Wanda, I truly am," I told her, stressing out my words. She bit her bottom lip.

"I know. I'm sorry too." She sniffed too. "I wasn't strong enough either." I looked at her softly.

"Wanda, don't…" She broke down, a sob leaving her lips.

I embraced her immediately. When she knelt on the floor, I followed her down, holding her against me, one of my hands in her hair as my chin was on her head.

That's it, the tears were there and with them, the acknowledgment Vision was...I guess he wasn't dead anymore, but he just...wasn't there anymore. Feeling Wanda clinging to me for dear life as her sobs torn my heart apart just made me break down too, so I buried my face in her hair.

Pietro joined us, an arm on our shoulders and pulled us against his chest.

"We're gonna get through this girls," he whispered softly.

We stayed like that for what seemed hours, just crying our hearts out. When we ran out of them, we didn't move until my phone rang. I pulled myself out of the hug and picked up.

"Sorry Brian, I can't talk right now talk to you later."

"Wai…" I hung up and ran a hand on my face.

"Stay here, I'm going to see Stephen to see what we'll do next." Wanda shuddered. "You need to learn. For now I'm going to tell him the situation is fixed."

I made a portal and was in the Sanctum in a second, closing the portal behind myself. I took a deep breath and went to find Stephen.

"Crisis over!" I told him once I found him. He turned around and handed me a mug of tea. "Thanks, it's strangely...thoughtful of you?" He frowned a little but didn't comment.

"So, how did it end?"

"Agatha was stopped, she's still in Westview if you need." I pursed my lips and conjured the Darkhold. There were dark red chains around it, courtesy of yours truly.

Stephen stared at it with wide eyes, then looked at me.

"It is what you think it is. Agatha got her hands on it one way or another. I just put...locks on it in case. I touched it and it just felt wrong."

"It's the direct opposite of The Book of the Vishanti, and by now you're used to that one. We'll take care of it." I looked down. "What?"

"Wanda...the Scarlet Witch is forged now. There's no turning back." He gulped and I took a sip of my tea. "I know it's the book of the damned, but also the book with the most information about the Scarlet Witch, maybe…"

"Not yet, maybe never Addison." He shook his head. "There's a reason why the Darkhold has so much about the Scarlet Witch, the one who wrote it...he's the source of her powers." I frowned. "Chaos Magic was the magic used by the entity who wrote this book." I paled and looked at it.

"Oh."

"You literally have chapters dedicated to the Darkhold in your book."

"I know, I read them, it's just…" I pointed at the damned book. "Knowledge."

"I know," he sighed. "But it's a solid 'no'. It corrupts anyone who uses it."

"Got it." I took a big gulp of my tea. "So, you're going to take another student?"

"I could, but I don't think she should only think about that right now." I blinked. "She won't get her powers under control if she doesn't process her grief first."

"...sure?" He deadpanned at me.

"Do you really not see where I'm going with this?" It took me some seconds to process and I pointed at myself.

"Me!? I can't teach magic, I'm still learning!" He pointed his mug at me.

"Yes, yet you have a high level already, have some reality-related powers because of the Reality Stone and a rare kind of magic. Plus, you're friends."

"I'm moving to London Stephen, for the Sanctum, for MI:13, hell for Otherworld and stuff!"

"Then take her with you." I tilted my head, done with him. He shrugged. "There are a lot of study material in the London Sanctum as well."

"It's…"

"And anyway, do you really think she wants to stay in this country now her home is without her lover and what she did to Westview?" I pursed my lips. "You're probably her best friend and moving because you don't want to stay in the U.S and who knows what her twin is going to do. He's been more involved in mutant business since the Sokovia Accords."

"That's...true." He looked at me sympathetically.

"Maybe it means you're all ready to move on from your days as only Avengers."

I didn't say anything to that. I guess...in a way...we were?

"Go get them."

I did and soon they were both sitting in front of Stephen, yours truly on the side.

"I made a mistake," Wanda stated before Stephen could say anything, "I don't want to repeat it. I need to learn."

"Agree." She exchanged a look with Pietro. "But not here."

"But I need to!" she insisted with pleading eyes.

"Trust me I agree with you on that point. I just think Addison could teach you." They looked at me. "Just not here."

"Oh you want her to go to London," Pietro figured out. Wanda frowned and glanced at me.

"You're moving?" I nodded sheepishly.

"I'm going to be a full-time member of MI:13 and now I'll have to look after the London Sanctum as well as… 'Master Carter'." I glared at Pietro when he started laughing and he cleared his throat instead.

"Are you staying at the Avengers Compound?" she asked her brother.

"I really don't know, there are much I could do elsewhere for mutant kind." I smiled at that.

In spite of everything, being in the Avengers opened both of their minds to what the world was.

"Would you have the time to teach me?" Wanda asked me. I nodded.

"Of course."

"Then I think I should move to London too." I smiled gently at her. "The Compound...it brings back too many memories anyway."

"It settles it then." He stood up. "Of course if you need me, contact me immediately."

"Can I not pay the rent?" I asked sarcastically, which just got me an annoyed look from my teacher. "Okay then, let's go back."

"Where have you been!?" Steve almost yelled at us when we set foot in the Compound. "We've tried to reach you and no answer!"

"Steve…" I tried, but he didn't let me say anything.

"We all were worried because you were just gone!" Sam appeared out of nowhere with James and put his hands on his shoulders.

"Hey man, they must have a good reason for not updating us."

"There was an emergency," Pietro explained.

"An emergency? And you didn't tell us?" Steve asked him.

"You would have made it worst," Wanda stated, her arms crossed on her chest. "I was the emergency."

"Is Tony here?"

"Conference room." We walked past them.

Tony was on the phone, pacing. He frowned when he saw us but didn't kick us out of the room once inside.

"I'm sorry she was rude, I'm sure she had a reason for it. Thanks for helping Parker out Stuart. Yeah. Yeah, bye." He hung up. "Did you hang up on Captain Britain Addie?"

"Yeah, but I was in the middle of something else. Why?" He raised his brows and turned on the screen.

I pinched the bridge of my nose when I saw the mess in London and how Brian was seen helping Peter out against Mysterio.

"What was more important than this?"

"Did you hear from SWORD?" He frowned. "Monica Rambeau? Not yet? Well, we can break this to you then."

"Break what? What the hell have you been doing you three?"

"They didn't do anything, I did," Wanda corrected him firmly. "I…" She looked at us.

"You better sit down Tony." He shot me a quizzical look.

We explained everything that happened in Westview, knowing Darcy would bring the sitcom with her. Tony already looked exhausted, now he looked older than he actually was. He ran a hand on his face.

"I know we called you a witch, but we never meant it literally," he told Wanda without actually looking at her. "I don't know what the repercussions will be, so before you go to London wait for them. Mind control is not…"

"I know."

"There were many agencies, like the FBI and SWORD. We have to wait for them to make the call," I added.

"And Monica got powers too because of Wanda's magic, she's coming here to have them checked out."

"Her cells were rewritten you said, right?" I nodded at Tony. "That's a pretty powerful magic you have, you need to learn how to control it asap." He looked at Pietro. "I don't picture you sticking around without these two here."

"Sounds about right." Tony sighed.

"You're retiring too, aren't you?" I asked him. He nodded.

"I'll stay as a consultant and tech guy if needed, but I might be...working for the ISO once it's signed. Like T'Challa."

"If I go back to being reserve, and Wanda and Pietro are the same, who will stay here? I mean, Thor's reserve as well now there's New Asgard to figure out, and I doubt Doc will stay if you're not around. Clint's retired...so what, Steve and Nat?" He shrugged.

"We can't stay an Avenger our whole life, there's got to be turnover at some point." He looked at Wanda and Pietro. "Alright, go get some rest. We're going to explain the rest of the team."

"Why can't I go rest?"

"You're our magic person around, and you've got to tell them you're moving out of the country." I whined. "I'm not sure they even know about the ISO."

Pietro patted my shoulder on his way out, Wanda sending me a small smile.

"She's messed up," Tony commented once they were out.

"She's grieving."

"Still, she messed up bad."

"I know." I fell on the chair next to him. "I'm exhausted."

"I'm sure." He shook his head. "We just beat Thanos, it's just…"

"There'll always be threats Tony. Thanos was your big one."

"He wasn't yours?"

"I don't think so to be honest. Whatever it is...I think it's in the UK." He pursed his lips.

"You think a place is just tea-loving and bad food and suddenly they're the center of something big." I snickered. "Have you thought about where you'd live?"

"Well, I can live at the Sanctum but I love the flat so I'll see."

"And the house?" I pursed my lips.

"I'm not sure I ever want to go back there." I sighed and tilted my head back. "Thanos' gone but I just can't...relax." I looked around. "I don't know, it's almost like since I came back it…"

"You need to leave this country Addie." I looked at him. "Not that I want to see you leave, but you need it. Even if it's just for a few months. Too much happened here."

June 28th, 2018, Avengers Compound

It was dead silent. Monica and Darcy came, with the sitcom like I had thought. The team, so Doc, Steve, Nat, Rhodey, Sam, Tony and I as the twins were in their rooms and Thor away, watched all the episodes in dead silence. Once they were over, Sam cleared his throat.

"So huh...Wanda...used magic to take a town hostage and created a sitcom world where the inhabitants were forced to…" Monica nodded.

"It's pretty much that," Darcy confirmed. "And Vision is back but not totally back somewhere."

"What about Wanda?" Steve asked them.

"Arrest is in the air, but the American government does not want to vouch for her anymore," Monica informed us wryly. "She's kicked out of the country."

"And where do you want her to go then?" Rhodey asked. Tony and I looked at each other, which the whole team noticed.

"Alright, what's with the glance?" Sam asked us. I looked at him, then Monica.

"Contact MI:13 and asks for the Boss, Alistair Stuart. I called him already but tell him I'm vouching for Wanda Maximoff." She nodded.

"MI:13?" Natasha repeated with a frown.

"You know them?" Steve asked her.

"Yes. They deal with supernatural threats in the UK and the Commonwealth." She looked at me. "How do you know them?"

"I'm in contact with them since I went to Darkmoor. They...kind off made it look like what we did there was on their order so there wasn't repercussion on us for having...done things in their country." Steve shot me a reprimanding glance, knowing I had not told him everything about what happened there. "Anyway, every person with any kind of enhancement, from birth or not, born on British soil is part of MI:13." I pointed at myself. "I was born in Manchester, so I'm part of it. They never made contact before I went to Darkmoor because SHIELD was closer to me through Grandma and me living in this country."

"Wait wait wait wait, hold on a minute. Are you trying to tell us you're moving to the UK?" Sam asked with wide eyes. I nodded.

"Yeah, kind of. Stephen also like...promoted me and it's in London too so...yeah, I'm moving, and Wanda agreed to come with me. Pietro's not staying either." It was dead silent.

"Where were they during the Convergence?" Darcy asked me.

"Trying to protect civilians from the Dark Elves and then did the clean up. One of them is still sour about that." But when was Wisdom not sour?

"A lot of things were broken," Darcy mumbled.

"We're down three Avengers then."

"We'll still be reserve though," I told Nat.

"It's a...good thing though, right?" We looked at Doc. "I mean, it's like when children leave their family to live their own lives with their own beliefs. They're...they're growing up." I smiled faintly. "I mean, she's no longer a baby."

"Come on!"

"I should have put that as code name in the quinjet," Tony whispered to himself. I rolled my eyes. "Baby Avenger. I mean, Peter's not an official Avengers so she's still the youngest of us all." I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"I hate you Tony."

Steve stood up and left without a word.

"Don't worry about him," Nat told me as I followed Steve with my eyes. "It's just hard to see kids grow up." I gulped quietly.

"I guess I still was one when I joined the team," I muttered under my breath.

I was a twenty-two-year-old college student after all.

As soon as the meeting was over, I went to find Steve. He was outside, watching the river.

"I'm not mad or disappointed if that's what you think," he told me without looking at me. I sighed in relief and walked to his side. "It's just...unexpected."

"I was at MI:13 HQ having my skills evaluated when Lagos happened, and you know the rest." He pursed his lips. "There wasn't really a good time."

"I know. It just reminds me we've been away from here for a long time and that...things happened and we weren't there."

"I'm sure you did good on your side as well."

"I guess." He took my hands, forcing them open for the green 'M' to be visible. "But whatever the reason is for those, it was bad enough for you to be entirely pardoned for everything and I wasn't there for it." I pursed my lips.

"...it's probably for the best Steve." He looked up at me. "If you didn't like James as the Winter Soldier, you wouldn't have...liked me back then." I crossed my arms over my chest and looked up at him. "You know the Accords are going to be replaced, right? Right now they're extremely flexible anyway."

"I heard about it."

"You know about the ISO?" He shook his head. "It's going to replace them. It's the International Superheroes Organization. It will work with and not for the UN."

"International?" I nodded.

"There are super people all around the globe. The Avengers shouldn't be the only team, especially because the borders are an issue we can't ignore. Tony and you...you were both right, and wrong at the same time. If there are teams all around the world, then the border issue is no longer an issue. If you need to go somewhere, you contact the team in charge of the place through the ISO."

"MI:13 is making a team?" I nodded. "And you're going to be a part of it?" I nodded.

"Alistair actually asked me to lead it." Steve blinked in surprise and I licked my lips. "I refused."

"Why? Is it because of the magic thing?" I shook my head.

"I wasn't in charge of the Sanctum back then. It's just...I'm not the leading type, I'm the solo type. I just...don't know how to lead a team." He snickered and shook his head, putting his hands on his hips. "What?"

"While we were split apart, you somehow found a way to gather all of us so we could defeat Thanos. You talked some sense into Wanda."

"I didn't do much for her, just blatant facts."

"What I'm trying to say is that you can lead a team. If anything, you're more aware of your teammates' feelings than I ever was, so you can fix things before they're too broken."

"I just think Captain Britain would be way better than me."

"Just because there's a Captain doesn't mean they're leader material. You've met him then?" I nodded.

"Well anyway, so far it's only me and Wisdom, we're more of a duo than a team so…" I sighed. "We shall see how it evolves once in London."

"Who's going to London?" We looked at James, who was walking to us his hands in his pockets.

"Huh…" Steve looked at me, then looked away. "I...I am." James frowned and crossed his arms. "I'm moving to London...as soon as possible." He stared at me for a few seconds with a blank face.

"Why?"

"There's nothing left for me in the States." He clenched his jaw and looked away.

"Are you serious about that?" I pursed my lips at the implication.

"I am. It's time for me to move on from…" I showed the Compound. "All that. Do my own thing."

"And you can't do your own thing in New York?" He was bitter.

"Bucky…" Steve sighed.

"Steve, it's none of your business!" James snapped at him. Steve just rubbed his forehead.

"It's none of yours either," I told him coldly. He glared at me. "It's my life James, if I want to move then I will."

"Out of the country!"

"I'm thinking of my wellbeing here James, and this country goes against it." He gritted his teeth. "If you can't accept that, well too bad, but I won't change my mind just because you don't like it. People are expecting me there, I already have given my words regarding responsibilities, and I won't take it back."

"And you told me you'd do what you can to help me live the life I should have lived decades ago," he reminded me brutally.

"Are you really throwing that in my face right now?"

"What, you care about giving your word to people and throw the one you gave me in the trash!" I could feel how Steve was uncomfortable next to me.

I walked up to James so that I could stare at him deep in the eyes.

"The triggers were removed James, you don't need me anymore and even if you did, you're not alone anymore. My life doesn't revolve around you Barnes, never has and never will. You left once, I think it's my right to do so as well." I walked away, bumping my shoulder in his.

So much for being there for me no matter the kind of relationship we had. He could be such a possessive prick sometimes and I just…

I didn't sign for that. I couldn't let him have some kind of dependency of me. It broke me when he left and broke the one I had with him and I wasn't going to let him back again just to…

I just couldn't trust him again. What we had...the kind of relationship we used to have, it was in the past, and I doubt we'd ever have it again.
