Chapter 11
(With Naruto)
It had been a few months since Amon had been defeated and his Equalits arrested.
In that time, Korra had been able to make contact with Aang, who was able to teach her how to spirit bend, so that she could heal everyone who had lost their bending, with Lin being the first person Korra helped.
Thankfully, that had helped the city heal over the past few months.
Also, in that time, Tenzin's older brother Bumi had arrived, who Naruto found to be awesome, since he was always joking around. And the council had stepped down, which allowed non-benders to hold an election for their first ever President.
Ru's mother had been livid about losing her seat of power, but it didn't help her at all, as she was quickly dismissed.
Needless to say, Ru hadn't made contact with her mother or her sister since.
Meanwhile, Asami had taken over as head of Future Industries, since her father Hiroshi was sent to prison. And she was struggling to keep the company afloat, due to her fathers association with the Equalists.
Currently Naruto, Will and Kurama were on Air Temple Island sitting on the grass, as they watched Korra and the Airbender kids race around on air scooters, with Naga resting in the shade of a tree.
Naruto was still wearing his cast, as his arm had been snapped in several places by Amon. And even though Katara had been able to save his arm, he was still wearing the cast for a bit to make sure that it heals.
"Stop scratching at it" Will said, as she saw her boyfriend scratching at his cast.
"It's driving me crazy," Naruto said with a pout, as he stopped scratching his arm.
"Your cast is coming off in a few days anyway, so relax" Will said, as she rolled her eyes at him
"Korra, Will is being mean to me!" Naruto yelled out, as she approached them after winning the race against the air siblings by using the Avatar State.
"Awww, poor baby" Korra said, as she patted Naruto on the head, while Naga walked over and gave her a lick.
Kurama poked his head out of the picnic basket and blew a raspberry at this.
"Love ya too, fluffy" Korra said with a smile at the spirit.
"Oi! You better not have eaten all the food" Meelo yelled, as he ran over to the basket.
"Oh relax, half pint. I brought a spare" Will said with a smile, as she held up another basket.
"Yay! I love those pizzas!" Ikki said with a wide grin.
"I prefer the chocolate eclairs, myself" Jinora said, as she walked over with Bumi.
"Don't worry, I made sure to pack some of those for you," Naruto said with a smile.
"What have ya got that's real meaty?" Bumi asked with a smile, as he rubbed his hands together.
"Here, try the double bacon cheeseburger," Naruto said, as he handed Bumi a wrapped up burger.
Kurama barked at this, clearly annoyed that he didn't get one.
"I thought that Airbenders didn't eat meat?" Korra asked with a raised eyebrow, as she sat down and rested herself against Naga, who'd laid down behind her.
"Well, it's a good thing that I'm not an Airbender then" Bumi said with a grin, as he took a bite of said burger, before his eyes widened in surprise. "Woah! And I thought that the hype I have been hearing about your food was all talk" he said, before he started to eat the burger.
"Here, try the fries Uncle Bumi!" Ikki said with a smile, as she ate some fries.
"Don't mind if I do, kiddo," Bumi said with a grin, as he took some fries.
"Are you all having fun?" Tenzin asked, as he approached them.
"Yup" Meelo said with a nod, as he ate a salad wrap.
"Korra beat us in a race by using the Avatar State, daddy!" Ikki yelled out.
"Nark" Will grumbled under her breath, as Tenzin's eyes widened in shock at this.
"The Avatar State is not meant for such things, Korra" Tenzin said, as he gave his student a look of disapproval.
"Oh, come on. It was just a little boost" Korra said, as she frowned at this while stroking Naga's head.
"You may have come a long way with your Airbending in six months, but that doesn't mean that you can be foolish" Tenzin said, as he looked at Korra.
"Listen to him, you must. Wise and powerful, he is" Naruto said with an annoying voice.
Will snorted at this, while Ikki and Meelo burst out laughing at this.
"So, what brings you here, captain sour face?" Bumi asked, as he finished off his burger.
"I am here because we need to prepare for our trip to the Southern Water Tribe," Tenzin said.
Korra's eyes widened in realization at this. "Oh yes! It's almost time for the Glacier Spirits Festival" she said with a wide grin.
"Exactly. It's the Winter Solstice and it will give you a chance to train more and try to enter the spirit world" Tenzin said with a firm tone.
"Are you ever not in teacher mode?" Will asked with a flat tone.
"Yea. When was the last time you had any fun?" Naruto asked with a nod.
"I know how to have fun. I was thinking of letting you two come, seeing as Naruto could use some spiritual training. And sadly, Miss Will is a package deal with you" Tenzin said.
"Oi! Do you have a problem with me?" Will asked with a scowl.
"You took Jinora out to the city and she came back wearing makeup," Tenzin said with an annoyed tone.
Jinora looked down at the ground at this, clearly embarrassed at her father's overprotectiveness.
"She's 16, little bro. I think you can cut the leash a little" Bumi said, as he shook his head at this.
"What does Pema think?" Naruto asked curiously.
"She's the one who asked me to take her out. She wanted Jinora to be a teen girl for a bit" Will said with a shrug.
"I refuse to let her be influenced by you, Miss Will. While you are a good person, your values are not the best. I don't need my little girl getting into trouble and galvanizing with the wrong sort" Tenzin said firmly.
"Pfft, yeah right. You just don't want her to meet any boys her age" Will said as she scoffed at this.
Kurama barked at this as he held up his paw, showing he agreed with this.
"You're wasting your time, little bro. I happen to know that your 'little girl' already has a boy that she likes" Bumi said, as he made air quotes when he said little girl.
Jinora froze at this before she looked at Ikki and Meelo with a glare, who smiled sheepishly at this.
"What?! Who is it?!" Tenzin yelled as he looked at his brother.
"Nope, not saying. I'm not selling my niece out, just so that you can be a moron" Bumi said as he shook his head.
"Does Pema know?!" Tenzin asked with a panicked tone.
"Do I know what?" Pema asked, as she walked over while carrying Rohan.
"There's the little world's newest Airbender," Naruto said with a smile, as he made a mini air ball above his finger for the baby to see.
Rohan giggled at this while clapping his hands.
"So what's this festival all about?" Will asked Korra curiously.
"I think that it started as a spiritual festival, but it's mostly just a celebration. Thankfully, I was able to go to it with my parents, while I was growing up" Korra said with a smile.
"Nice to know that the White Lotus weren't completely heartless" Will said with a scoff.
"You figure out what you're gonna tell your parents about your relationship situation?" Ikki asked with a smile, as she looked at Korra while eating some fries.
Kurama started to snicker at this, before Naruto sent a blast of air at him and closed the picnic baskets lid on the spirits head.
"….we may need to rethink this" Korra said after a few moments of thought.
(A few days later)
Naruto, Will and Korra were on the deck of a ship to the South Pole, along with Mako, Bolin, Tenzin and his family, who were below deck.
Naga had her head over the side and was trying to catch any fish that jumped up.
Kurama was inside Naruto's hoodie, slightly shaking, as he hated the cold.
"You really need to get used to the cold, buddy," Naruto said, as he rolled his eyes at the spirit.
"Yeah, especially since he might come here to see Korra from time to time" Will said with a smirk.
"Please, I'm not leaving Republic City. This is just a visit, before I go on my trip with Tenzin" Korra said, as she shook her head.
"Don't you mean Captain Buzzkill?" Will asked with a grin.
"He's not that bad," Naruto said, as he shook his head.
"Yea, wait until he finds out who Jinora has a crush on, then say that" Korra said with a teasing smirk at her boyfriend.
"…we may need to move, babe," Naruto said, as he looked at Will.
"Well, I'm sure that Su won't mind having us. Plus, I'm sure that Opal would be ecstatic" Will said with her own teasing grin.
Naruto groaned at this, as Kurama's snickering was heard from inside his hoodie.
"Hey, there it is!" Korra yelled out, as she spotted the South Pole, and as they got closer, they could see the village.
Naruto and Will smiled at this, happy to see that Korra was excited to see her home after so long.
(Later)
The ship was now ashore and everyone was getting off the ship via the ramp, while what looked like a group of Water Tribe members were there to greet them.
"Korra!" a male yelled, getting their attention. A man with a small beard, long hair and wearing Water Tribe clothes was waving at Korra, with a large smile on his face. This was Tonraq.
And standing next to him, was a woman, who had her hair done in two ponytails, that were over her shoulders, while also wearing Water Tribe clothes. This was Senna.
"Mom! Dad!" Korra yelled, as she ran to her parents, hugging them both with Naga running after her, as she licked them both.
"I'm glad that you made it," Tonraq said with a smile.
"Heh, like I would miss this," Korra said with a grin.
"I told him not to worry. Now, where's this boyfriend you wrote to us about?" Senna said as she looked at Korra.
"Yes, I'd very much like to meet him," Tonraq said with a firm tone.
Naruto gulped at this, as he walked forward towards Korra and her parents.
"And thus we walk into the valley of death" Will said under her breath, getting a laugh from Kurama, who was on her shoulder.
Naruto's eyebrow twitched at this, before he composed himself, as Korra grabbed his arm and dragged him over to her parents.
"This is Naruto. He helped me a lot back in Republic City, and, well…." Korra said with a grin, as she rested her head on his shoulder with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, Naruto," Senna said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you too. I see where Korra got her good looks from" Naruto said, as he smiled back.
"Oh, he's a keeper," Senna said with a smile at her daughter.
"I know, right?" Korra said with a smile at this.
Tonraq stepped forward. "Welcome to the South Pole" he said, as he held out his hand for Naruto to shake.
Naruto grabbed his hand and winced a little at how tight Tonraq was squeezing his hand, before he applied some pressure of his own.
Tonraq chuckled at this, before he shook Naruto's hand. "So, Korra says that you run your own business in the city?" he asked.
"Yes, a restaurant, which is doing OK business" Naruto said as he nodded
"Please, it's so popular now, that there is a line out the door" Will said as she approached.
"Oh, and he cooks too. Good, since my daughter here is terrible at cooking" Senna said with a chuckle.
"Don't I know it. The girl burned boiling water" Will said with a smile.
"Oh? And you are?" Senna asked curiously.
"Oh, I'm Will, Korra's best friend. I work at the restaurant" Will said, as she waved at them.
Kurama barked at this, getting their attention.
"Oh, and this is Kurama" Naruto said, deciding to introduce him.
"Huh, I've never seen a fox with orange fur before," Tonraq said, as he looked at Kurama with a cocked eyebrow.
"Well, he's not exactly a normal fox," Korra said, as she looked at Kurama with a look of warning to behave.
Senna looked around for a moment. "Korra, where are the rest of your friends that you told us about in your letters?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, well, Asami couldn't make it, seeing as she is busy with her company. And Ru is running the restaurant for Naruto while he's here" Korra said, as she looked at her mother.
"Bolin and Mako are right behind us though," Naruto said, as he pointed at the ship where Bolin and Mako were walking down the ramp, with Bolin shivering, despite the big coat that he was wearing.
"Walk it off big guy" Will said as she looked at Bolin, as he approached them along with Mako.
"H-how long does it take to get used to the cold?" Bolin asked Korra, as he shivered while his teeth chattered together, with Pabu poking his head out of the coat under his chin.
"About a few days" Korra said, as she shook her head at her friend.
"That, or I could have Kurama light you on fire" Will said, as she slightly smirked at him.
Kurama looked at Bolin and smirked, before he blew out a small flame for emphasis.
"...I'll tough it, thanks" Bolin said, as he quickly stopped shivering.
"Huh, so he can breathe fire? Odd for a fox" Tonraq said.
"Well, like Korra said, Kurama is unique. You're ok with spirits, right?" Naruto asked, as he knew some types of people might have different reactions to Kurama.
"A spirit? Oh my" Senna said, as her eyes widened in surprise at this.
"Relax, he's harmless….unless you provoke him" Will said.
Before Tonraq could respond to this, what looked like a royal Water Tribe yacht pulled into the docks.
"Who is that?" Naruto asked, as he took note of the ship, which the dock hands were quickly moving to get the ramp out for
"That would be my uncle and cousins," Korra said, as a man walked down the ramp. He had long brown hair going down his back, with two strands on either side of his face, while wearing royal Water Tribe clothes. This was Unalaq.
Behind him, walked two teens who looked alike, with one having eyeshadow around their eyes, with them both wearing the same Water Tribe robes. They were Eska and Desna.
"Hello twins" Will whispered to Naruto with a teasing grin.
"Only ones a girl, babe," Naruto whispered back to Will with a flat look.
Will blinked at this in surprise, while Kurama snickered.
"Tonraq" Unalaq said, as he walked over.
"Unalaq" Tonraq said with a frown.
"I smell some family drama," Mako said to the others, who all nodded in agreement at this.
As this was happening, Eska took notice of Naruto and started to look at him with interest.
Naruto felt a shiver run through him at this.
"Are you ok?" Korra asked, as she grabbed his hand.
"I feel like I'm being hunted for some reason," Naruto whispered.
"Ah, Avatar Korra. I heard that you were coming, and so soon after dealing with that Equalist drama" Unalaq said, as he looked at Korra with a grin.
"Hello Uncle" Korra said with a smile at him, as she gave him a bow.
"I had heard that you were making progress with your training too," Unalaq said.
"Well, I'm finally making progress with Airbending now. But right now, I'm focusing on my spiritual awareness" Korra said.
"Oh? And your teacher for that is?" Unalaq asked curiously.
"It's me, Unalaq," Tenzin said, as he stepped forward.
"Ah, Tenzin. While I'm sure you have some knowledge, I would think that the Avatar would prefer a teacher with more expertise in the spiritual" Unalaq said, as he looked at the older Airbender.
"And you're an expert, I take it?" Naruto asked, as he raised an eyebrow at this.
"Indeed I am. And you would be?" Unalaq asked, as he looked at Naruto curiously.
"Naruto Uzumaki; Airbender, business owner and friend to a spirit" Naruto said, as Kurama jumped onto his shoulder
Unalaq looked at Kurama and after a few moments, Kurama started to growl at him, as if he sensed something he really didn't like.
"With how angry the spirits have been lately, I'm surprised that such a spirit is friends with you" Unalaq said, as he looked at Naruto.
"Wait, spirits are attacking?" Korra asked curiously.
"That can't be good," Will said with a frown.
"Have you tried talking to them?" Bolin asked hopefully.
"I don't think that'll work, bro," Mako said with a shake of his head.
"All they have been doing is attacking people out at sea," Tonraq said.
"Something is obviously wrong, if spirits are attacking random people" Naruto said, as he frowned at this.
"Indeed. Though my brother isn't exactly the best one to ask about such things" Unalaq said.
Tonraq lightly glared at this and clenched his fist tightly, while Senna grabbed his hand.
"I smell drama," Bolin whispered to the others.
"Obviously, the South needs better spiritual awareness. If they had, then they could probably figure out what's wrong" Unalaq said with a firm tone.
"Are you an expert?" Korra asked curiously.
"Indeed. I am more than willing to teach you a bit, while you're here, if you wish" Unalaq said as he looked at Korra.
"That won't be necessary" Tonraq said with a hard tone, as he stepped forward.
"Indeed. I'm handling Korra's training" Tenzin said as he too stepped forward
"Hey, don't I get a say in this?" Korra asked with a scowl.
Naruto, seeing a fight about to start, quickly stepped forward. "Look, why don't we just relax?" This is supposed to be a vacation, before Korra starts her spiritual training, right?" Naruto asked, as he looked at everyone, and then looked at Korra.
"I agree. Let's just try to enjoy the festival" Senna said, as she looked at her husband.
Everyone nodded at this, before they all walked away from each other.
As Unalaq left, the twins followed their father. But as they followed him, Eska turned to look at Naruto as she left.
Naruto raised an eyebrow curiously at this.
"Oh, looks like someone likes you," Bolin said with a teasing grin.
Korra's eyes narrowed at this, before she grabbed Naruto's arm possessively.
Will snorted at this, while Kurama snickered at this.
"Ah, it's so good to have all my children together again," Katara said with a smile, as she walked over, with a woman next to her, who had gray hair and wore Water Tribe clothing. This was Kya, Bumi and Tenzin's sister.
"Hey Mum, hey Kya" Bumi said with a grin, as he walked over to them and gave them both a hug, while lifting them off the ground.
"Hi Bumi" Kya said, as she patted him on the back, before Bumi set them both back down.
"Hello Mother, Kya" Tenzin said, as he and his family walked over.
"Hey, little bro. Still a stuck in the mud?" Kya asked curiously, as she smiled teasingly at Tenzin.
"Absolutely! You know he is chasing boys away from Jinora now?" Bumi asked, as he grinned widely.
Kya burst out laughing at this along with her brother, while Tenzin grumbled at this.
(Later at the festival)
Later on, the festival was in full swing and everyone was enjoying the game and food stands.
Naruto and Korra were on their own at a game stand, where Korra wanted to try and win a prize by knocking over a bottle, by using Waterbending to hit it with a water ball.
Naruto watched as Korra easily knocked over the target…and destroyed the wall behind it.
"Still mad, honey?" Naruto asked, as he took note of Korra's look of annoyance, while taking the stuffed toy from the stand owner, before they walked away.
"More like frustrated. I'm just sick of Tenzin and my dad deciding what I do. It's like nothing has changed at all and I'm back with the White Lotus" Korra said as she scowled.
"I'm sure they don't mean any harm, Korra," Naruto said, as he patted her on the shoulder.
"It still bugs me. I mean, my uncle could probably teach me a lot. Why are they against that?" Korra asked, as she looked at Naruto.
"Maybe something happened in the past between them," Naruto said with a shrug.
"That's still not an excuse," Korra said with a scowl.
Before Naruto could respond to this, he felt a shiver go up his spine.
"Are you ok? I know you're not that cold" Korra said, as she looked at her boyfriend curiously.
"Hello cousin" Eska's voice was heard saying, as she announced her presence behind Naruto, making him jump in surprise, before he jumped back revealing Eska and Desna behind him.
"Gah! You're sneaky for someone from the Water Tribe" Naruto said, as he patted his chest.
"Forgive the interruption. I wished to introduce myself to you. I am Eska and this is my twin brother, Desna" Eska said with a monotone.
"Uh, hi. I'm Naruto Uzumaki from Republic City" Naruto said awkwardly.
"Your hair is unique. I have never seen such a shade of yellow" Eska said, as she approached Naruto and looked at him.
"Uh…..thanks?" Naruto asked, as Eska was really close to him, making him feel nervous, as her monotone face was a bit unnerving.
"I like you. I will make you mine" Eska said, as she smiled slightly as she looked at Naruto.
"Eh?" Naruto asked, his eyes widening at how blunt the Water Tribe woman was being.
"Eh?!" Korra asked, as a look of shock appeared on her face.
"Sister, are you sure that is wise?" Desna asked with a monotone of his own.
"Indeed I do. Come, I want you to win me some prizes" Eska said, as she walked closer to him.
"OK, hold on - Hey! Wow, you're strong" Naruto was saying, before Eska grabbed his arm and dragged him off.
Korra growled at this, as she glared after Naruto and Eska, while Desna stood there with a blank look.
"Hey Korra, why is Naruto with your cousin?" Bolin asked curiously, as he and Mako approached.
Korra turned and growled at Bolin, spitting out some fire from her mouth.
"….let's go check on Will, bro" Bolin said, as he quickly turned around and walked away.
"Smartest one here" Mako said, as he quickly followed after his brother.
"How have you been, cousin?" Desna asked, after a moment of silence.
"My boyfriend was just dragged off by another girl. How are you?" Korra growled out, as her eyes slightly flashed.
"…." Desna said nothing to this, but quickly walked away, as even he could tell this wasn't a good situation to be in.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were both at their desks, when You-Know-Who pushed the door open
Hey, I'm nothing like Tommy Riddler. I'm much more handsome: Deadpool said with a scoff, as he entered the office….by crawling on the roof with his hands and feet, with his costume wearing Spider Man like motifs
What the hell? P.O.M asked with surprise
What are you doing, Wade? Kfbanime87 said in shock
Well, Madame Web sees all possible futures and realities. So I thought that in one reality, I might have Spider Man's powers: Deadpool said with a shrug
You do realize that movie is gonna flop harder than Morbius and The Marvels, right? Kfbanime87 asked with a flat tone of voice
I bet you a hundred bucks it won't! Deadpool yelled, as he held out said money
Deal! P.O.M said, as he stood up
You are such a sucker: Kfbanime87 said to Deadpool, as he shook his head at this
So what's next captain incel? Deadpool asked
Next is - oi! I am not an incel! I can call out bad movies and not hate anyone! Kfbanime87 yelled, as he stood up and grabbed a mallet off the wall
Yea, he doesn't hate anyone Wade, so watch it: P.O.M said with a glare
…..retracted. I went too far Deadpool said as he lowered his head in shame
Thanks….but it's too late. So suffer the consequences! Kfbanime87 yelled, as he swung the mallet
He apologized, so stop after three whacks: P.O.M said, as he typed on his laptop
Deal! Kfbanime87 yelled, as he attacked Deadpool
To all the girls I loved before - owie! Deadpool was yelling, before he was hit in the side

Let's hope that now the vaccines are all done, we can rest a bit easier.
I would also like to point out that this is the last new fanfic that me and Kfbanime87 will be writing together until we finish one, as writing too many fanfics takes up too much time.
The harem is: Will, Korra, Asami, Opal and Ru. And don't worry, we have a plan for who to have Bolin pair with (which I'm sure will leave many of you shocked). Hope that you all enjoyed this fanfic, and once I've helped Kfbanime87, I'll be updating Jinchuriki Trainer next.
