Chapter 13
(With the group)
It was now morning and everyone was walking through the village, looking around and seeing that things were very tense amongst the Southern Water tribe and the newly occupying Northern Water tribe.
"Korra, I hate to say it….but your uncle is nuts" Bolin said, as he stroked Pabu, who was sitting on his shoulder.
["I'm with captain happy. Your uncle is asking for trouble, pulling this shit"] Kurama said with a scoff, as he looked around, seeing some Northern Water Tribe who were already setting up a base of operations.
"Normally, I wouldn't agree with fluffy, but he's got a point," Will said with a sigh, as she saw that some Southern Water Tribesmen nearby were obviously not happy about this.
"My uncle says they just want to secure the newly opened portal, while I open the other portal at the North Pole" Korra said.
"Yea and why not just let the Southern Water Tribe handle that then?" Mako asked with a raised eyebrow.
["And don't give me that elitist shit, about the North being more spiritually aware"] Kurama said, as he spat a flame at some Northern Water Tribemen's feet, making them jump slightly.
Korra said nothing to this, as she didn't have any answers to this.
As this was happening, some Southern Water Tribesmen were confronting some Northern Water Tribesmen.
"Oh, this will go well," Naruto said with a groan.
"Hey, what's going on?" Korra asked, as she ran over to see what was going on.
"Nothing worth concerning yourself about. We're just trying to build our base here and they are trying to slow us down" a Northern Water Tribesman said.
"We don't need your help!" a Southern Water Tribesman yelled.
"Yea, so go back to the North!" another Southern Water Tribesman yelled with a nod.
"…..uh babe, isn't this a little, ya know?" Naruto asked Korra, as he paused at how the Southern Water Tribe was acting.
["Racist as fuck?"] Kurama asked.
Will slapped her forehead at this with a groan, as the Southern Water Tribesmen gave them all annoyed looks.
"Look, let's all just calm down" Korra said, as she ignored Kurama, but made a mental note to tie his tails into knots later.
"Why are you defending them? You're one of us!" a third Southern Water Tribesman said to her with a scowl.
"What's going on here?" Unalaq asked his men as he approached, while Eska and Densa were close behind.
["Look, it's your stalker"] Kurama whispered to Naruto with a snicker, before he groaned, as Will stomped on his tail.
"Dummy up, you dummy" Will said with a harsh tone.
"The Southern thugs are trying to stop us from securing the portal, sir" a Northern Water Tribesman said.
"This is our home, not yours. So go home!" a Southern Water Tribesman yelled, pointing off into the distance.
"Look, starting a fight isn't going to help anyone" Korra said, as she blocked the Southern Water Tribesmen from stepping forward.
"And you guys acting like invaders isn't helping either" Naruto said as he narrowed his eyes, as he blocked the Northern Water Tribesmen path.
"We are not here to invade," Unalaq said.
["You could have fooled me"] Kurama said with a scoff at this, as he scratched his ear.
Unalaq's eyes narrowed at this, as he looked at Kurama.
"All of you disperse," Tonraq said, as he approached the Southerner's.
The Southerns said nothing to this, as they left. But they did give the Northerner's dirty looks as they left.
"This isn't over" Mako said, as he sighed at this.
"Yea, this is just gonna get worse, if we don't find a way to help them get along," Naruto said with a sigh, as he ran his hand through his hair, while everyone left the area, except for…..
"My Naruto, I wish to talk to you" Eska said, as she approached Naruto.
"About what exactly?" Will asked, as she crossed her arms while giving Eska a scowl.
"It's private, Wilma," Eska said, as she grabbed Naruto by his arm and dragged him off.
"The fuck you call me?!" Will yelled, as she tried to follow after them, before Mako grabbed her shoulder, stopping her.
"Let it go. She's not worth it," Mako said to her.
"Huh, so that's your name" Bolin said, as he looked at Will along with Pabu.
"Call me that in the future, and I'll gut you with a blunt object" Will said with a sneer, as smoke came out of her mouth.
"Noted," Bolin said with a rapid nod, as he backed away from her.
["Hey brat! Don't drink anything offered by her and don't let her access any of your holes!"] Kurama yelled after Naruto, before cackling madly.
"I miss the silence that came with you," Korra said, as she gave Kurama an annoyed look.
["Hey, I have been silent forever. I have a lot of smart ass remarks to get through, tomboy"] Kurama said with a grin.
"Tomboy?!" Korra yelled out.
"Kurama" Will said, as she shook her head at this.
["What? Do you prefer Amazon?"] Kurama asked curiously.
"…better" Korra grumbled under her breath, as she crossed her arms with a huff.
"You're not gonna give us all nicknames, are you?" Bolin asked Kurama curiously.
["Good idea. Hey, how does sap sound to you?"] Kurama asked with a grin.
"I prefer nice guy," Bolin said with a wince.
["Works for me. And as for you, here's a hint: red called you it when you met"] Kurama said, as he looked at Mako, after gesturing to Will.
"I am not a nark" Mako said with a groan at this.
"And me?" Asami asked, fearing what he'll call her.
["Hmmmmm. How does Tech Queen sound?"] Kurama asked, after thinking it over for a moment.
"…..I'll take it," Asami said with a grin, as she pet Kurama a bit.
"And what about Ru?" Bolin asked curiously.
["Oh, that's easy. She's Lily"] Kurama said, as he shrugged slightly.
"That's a flower that symbolizes peace, right?" Asami asked curiously.
["Eh, she's the least annoying, so I figured that she gets the best nickname"] Kurama said with a shrug.
Will shook her head at this. "I can only imagine what he'll call Opal when he meets her" she thought to herself, while also wondering what Eska wanted Naruto for.
(With Naruto)
Meanwhile, with Naruto, he was being led somewhere by several of Eska's attendants.
"Where are we going?" Naruto asked, as he was pushed into a dressing room, where Eska was being helped into a dark purple wedding dress, with a high neck collar, a white fur around her neck and long arm sleeves.
"Ah, there you are, my Naruto" Eska said as her attendants helped her into her dress and helped her apply makeup.
"Uhhhh, what exactly is going on?" Naruto asked curiously as some attendants approached him with some robes.
"We are preparing for our wedding, my love" Eska said with her emotionless tone.
Naruto's eyes slightly bulged at this reveal, as his mind went a mile a minute, while he tried to think of a way to get out of this, before he took to the only option he could think of.
"Uh, Eska, can I have some time to go message my family?" Naruto asked, saying the first thing he could think of.
"Of course, my Naruto. Do try to return by the next full moon in a few days" Eska said, as she nodded at this.
"Yea, I'll be sure to do that" Naruto said, as he backed out of the room, before he quickly ran out down the hallway.
(Later)
Later, back at Korra's parents place, her father was holding a meeting with some of the other members.
"Tonraq, you need to talk to your brother and get him to leave," one of the men there said with a scowl.
"Look, everyone just calm down. I'm sure we can figure out a solution" Senna said, as she tried to calm everyone down.
"I say that we sneak over to where he's staying and kidnap him" one of the men said, with many nodding in agreement.
"OK, enough!" Korra yelled out, as she stood up
"Before you people decide to start a civil war like a bunch of morons, how about you actually let the Avatar try and fix this first?" Will asked, as she looked at everyone with an annoyed look, as while she could understand them being upset, them just going straight to kidnapping was way too much.
"She's the one who started all of this," a woman said with a scowl.
"Hey, I was just trying to help with the Spirits that are attacking and Unalaq knows the most about them," Korra said.
"My brother isn't the only expert. Plus, he only tells you what he wants you to know and not everything" Tonraq said.
["Yea. Plus, I'm getting some bad vibes from that guy"] Kurama said as he scratched his ear.
"See? Even a Spirit doesn't like him!" someone yelled out.
"OK look, if I go talk to Unalaq, will you all calm down?" Korra asked, as she tried to keep everyone calm.
Everyone went silent at this, before they begrudgingly nodded at this.
Korra nodded at this, as she went to leave the hut, along with Will and Kurama. But as they approached the door, Naruto quickly ran through the door with a panicked look on his face.
"Where have you been?" Will asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What wedding?!" Naruto yelled in a panic without thinking.
This caused Korra and Will to pause, before they both glared at Naruto.
["So, this is how you die. Damn it, I lost a bet with the sap"] Kurama said with a snicker at this.
"Shut up and let's go deal with this. And as for you, we are gonna have a talk, mister" Korra said to Kurama, before she glared at Naruto.
"Very loudly, I may add" Will added, as she too glared at Naruto. as they all left the hut.
"...you get the feeling something is going on with Korra and that Will girl?" Senna asked her husband curiously, after a few moments of silence, while the rest of the Tribesmen left.
"Like what?" Tonraq asked with a raised eyebrow at his wife.
(Later with Naruto)
Later with Naruto, Will, Korra and Kurama, they were making their way to see Unalaq and while walking there, Korra and Will had gotten an explanation out of Naruto, and…..
["Gahahahahahahahaha!"] Kurama cackled madly, as they walked down the road.
"Oi, it's not funny!" Naruto said, as he looked at the fox spirit with a scowl.
["I respectfully disagree"] Kurama said with a grin.
"Korra, I love you, but your cousin is dead when I see her" Will growled out, as smoke came out of her mouth
"Get in line" Korra growled out, as her eyes flashed white for a moment, from her almost going into the Avatar State, thanks to her rage.
Naruto sweatdropped at this, but before he could try to calm either of his girls down, he noticed that something was happening at Unalaq's place.
More specifically, what looked like several people dressed in dark clothes with dark masks and hoods, were carrying what looked like a knocked out Unalaq away.
"Hey!" Naruto yelled, as he jumped at them, using some Airbending to boost his jump, so he would move faster.
The kidnappers turned to look at Naruto and quickly sent what looked like some water spears at Naruto.
Seeing this, Naruto grabbed his staff off his back and swung it down, slamming the end of it into the ground, propelling himself into the air and above them, avoiding the water attacks.
Seeing what was going on, Korra, Will and Kurama quickly sent some fire blasts at the kidnappers.
The kidnappers quickly dropped Unalaq and moved to avoid the attacks, before they quickly fled the area, using the snow and ice to make a smokescreen to cover the escape.
["Oh no you don't"] Kurama said, as his eyes narrowed, before he ran after the kidnappers.
"Uncle!" Korra yelled, as she ran to Unalaq, along with Will and Naruto.
"Ugh, what happened?" Unalaq asked, as he held his head.
"It looks like you taking over the South isn't going over so well" Will said, as she crossed her arms.
"Miss Vandom, we are not trying to take over -" Unalaq was saying with a frown, before being cut off.
"You're occupying their home and acting like you know what's best for them," Naruto said with a scowl.
"And pro tip, me and Naruto have a history with people like that, and it doesn't end well for them" Will added, as she glared at Unalaq.
"I don't need to be lectured by outsiders, who don't know anything about our traditions and history" Unalaq said with a glare, as he gained a cold tone of voice, as he looked at Naruto and Will.
["If your gonna get an attitude with my friends, then you better have a fucking army"] Kurama growled out, as he announced his pressance behind Unalaq, ready to attack him, if he made a stupid move.
Unalaq quickly jumped away from Kurama. "Please forgive my tone. I didn't mean to come off as insulting to your friends" he said with a slight bow.
["Then walk away"] Kurama growled as while normally, he would take any chance to take advantage of someone sacking up to him, in this instance he wasn't going to do that, as something was telling him Unalaq wasn't to be trusted.
Unalaq raised his head, before he left and went back inside his palace.
"OK, what the hell was that?" Korra asked, as she looked at Naruto, Will and Kurama.
"Korra, come on. Surely you can't be this naive" Will said, as she looked at Korra.
["Yea, that asshole is so full of crap just looking at him makes my nose wrinkle in disgust"] Kurama said, causing Korra to glare at him.
"Look, both sides are acting in the wrong. In this case, we just need to stop this, before things get worse" Naruto said.
"How? My own people just tried to kidnap my uncle" Korra said.
["Yea, about that"] Kurama said, as he reached his tail into an alleyway nearby, before he pulled his tail back out and slammed it into the ground, revealing he had captured one of the kidnappers.
And what stood out, was that this kidnappers mask was gone and that he was actually one of Unalaq's men.
"This is one of the kidnappers?" Naruto asked, as he blinked in surprise.
["Yup. My nose is never wrong. This asshole is one of the kidnappers"] Kurama said with a nod.
"OK, you have 10 seconds to explain yourself, before I make you talk" Will said, as she grabbed the man by his hair and pulled on it, so he would look her in the eyes.
"I'm not telling you - gah!" the man was saying, before Will slugged him in the kidney.
"The next punch I'm adding lightning, so test me asshole" Will growled, as she made sparks on her fingers for emphasis.
"You can either tell her or tell Kurama. I'm sure he and you have plenty to discuss" Naruto said, as he crossed his arms, while Kurama smiled madly.
"Choose wisely and do it quickly," Will said, as she held up her sparking fingers to the man's face.
"…..Master Unalaq had us stage a kidnapping, so we could frame his brother and his men with conspiring to kill him, so he could get them out of the way, so he could take over the South Pole!" the man yelled out.
Korra's eyes narrowed at this, as she clenched her fists tightly.
"Anything else or is that it?" Will asked with a hard look and tone.
The man hesitated at this.
["I smell a secret"] Kurama said, as he opened his mouth, so the man's head was inside it.
"Unalaq had his brother framed years ago, so he could take the throne from him, after he was banished!" the man yelled out in fear.
Korra shouted at this, before she slugged the man in the face, knocking him out.
"Korra, you need to calm down," Naruto said, as he stepped forward.
"Calm down? How can I calm down?! My uncle just tried to start a war and frame my father!" Korra yelled out in anger.
"We are gonna deal with him, but we need to be smart about it," Naruto said, as he placed his hand on Korra's shoulder.
"We don't have the manpower to fight his army" Will said, as she scowled.
"Which is why we need to get out of here and get help," Naruto said.
"You expect me to just run away and -" Korra was saying, before she was cut off.
"Korra, stop. You know we can't win against all of them and if we try, then we're just gonna get Southern Water Tribe members killed" Will said.
["Plus, think of it more as a tactical retreat, Amazon"] Kurama said, as he looked at Korra.
"….fine. So, what's the plan?" Korra asked.
"We need to commandeer a ship and get out of here, along with anyone we can take with us," Naruto said.
"We should go tell your parents what's going on, before your dirtbag uncle makes a move" Will said.
["We should also ask Tech Queen and that rich loon she was with, if they have a ship we can use"] Kurama said.
"OK. Korra and Kurama, you both go back to your parents and tell them what's going on and get them to meet us at the docks" Naruto said.
"And we will go get Asami and Varrick," Will said with a nod of agreement.
Korra nodded at this, as she and Kurama headed towards her parents hut, while Naruto and Will headed to where Asami and Varick were staying.
(Later with Korra)
Korra and Kurama were running towards her parents hut, but paused, as they saw several Northern Water Tribe members were waiting outside, before Tonraq and Senna were led out in cuffs.
Korra scowled at this, before she slammed her fist on the ground, causing the snow underneath the Northerner's to go flying from underneath them and sending some of them flying
"Avatar Korra, we are under orders to bring in -" one of the Northern Water Tribesmen was saying, before being interrupted.
["Save it! We know your asshole boss set them up!"] Kurama yelled, as he glared at them, as a few small flames escaped his mouth.
"Let my parents go," Korra said with a glare, as she made some flame daggers appear in her hands.
The Northerner's ignored this, before they all attacked Korra and Kurama with water needles.
Korra moved her arms and blocked with some earth, before Kurama burst through the earth wall, sending the rubble flying at them, as he attacked the Northerner's.
A roar was heard off to the side, before Naga came running over, as she bowled a few of the men over.
"Naga! Get mom and dad out of here!" Korra yelled, as she sent an air blast at a Northerner.
["You go with them!"] Kurama yelled, as he sent some of the enemy flying with his tails.
"You sure?" Korra asked, as she sent a large boulder at them.
["I can handle all of them. Now go!"] Kurama yelled, before he fired a blast of fire at the Waterbenders.
Korra hesitated at this, before she ran to Naga and her parents, before they all got on the polar bear dog, who instantly took off.
["Come on! You guys think you can take on the nine tailed fox?!"] Kurama yelled, as he fought off the Waterbenders, who had surrounded him, not noticing Unalaq coming up behind him.
["Eh? You think you can take me - gah!"] Kurama was saying, before Unalaq grabbed him with some water tendrils, which were glowing…..and started to cause his body to turn black.
(With Naruto)
Meanwhile back with Naruto, he and Will had been able to bring Asami, Varrick and Zhu Li to the docks, where there was a big ship that had been guarded by some Northern Water Tribe members, before Naruto, Will and Asami had taken care of them.
"Nice job. Now, let's get out of here, before backup arrives" Varrick said, as he and Zhu Li walked up the ramp onto the ship.
"Not yet. Korra's not here" Will said, as she looked for any sign of her.
As Naruto looked around for her too, he suddenly paused, as he held his head in pain.
"What's wrong?" Will asked, as she ran over to him.
"I-I don't know. I think something is wrong with Kurama" Naruto groaned out, before he fell to one knee.
As Will and Asami looked at each other at this, Korra had arrived on Naga, along with her parents.
"OK, we're here, let's go!" Korra yelled, as she and her parents got off Naga and approached them.
"Where's Kurama?" Asami asked, taking notice that the kitsune was not with Korra.
"We got attacked by some of Unalaq's men. So he said to go on without him and he will catch up" Korra said.
"I don't like this" Naruto said, as he stood up after the bad feeling he was feeling passed.
"We are on limited time. Unalaq will be sending people after us" Zhu Li said from up on the ship, along with Varrick.
"Yea. We need to go, before his blockade learns what's happening and tries to stop us" Varrick said with a nod.
Everyone looked at Naruto, as it was his call on what he wanted to do, regarding Kurama.
"Let's go," Naruto said, as he knew that Varrick was right.
Everyone quickly got onto the ship, but Tonraq didn't follow them.
"Korra, take your mother and go. I'm going to stay here and lead my men and try to lead some kind of rebellion, while you get backup" Tonraq said.
Korra looked back at Tonraq and after a few moments, she nodded at this, while Senna frowned, before they both entered the ship.
Soon, the ship went out to sea with Varrick at the controls.
"So, do you know how to drive this thing?" Bolin asked curiously.
"Of course I do! Unalaq's men won't be able to catch up with this ship" Varrick said with a wide grin, as he patted the controls.
As they went out to sea, Mako was looking out for ships with a spyglass, before he paused.
"What? Do you see something?" Asami asked curiously.
"Is it an enemy ship?" Korra asked, as she approached.
"Or a dark spirit coming after us?" Naruto asked.
"Uh, not exactly," Mako said, as he handed Naruto the spyglass, so he could take a look.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this, before he looked through the spyglass, before he turned pale and ran to Varrick, dropping the spyglass as he did. "Get us out of here now!" he yelled in a panic, as he grabbed Varrick by the shoulders and shook him.
"On it whiskers! And watch the suit!" Varrick yelled, as he made the ship move faster.
Will picked up the spyglass and took a look out at sea, and saw what looked like an upset Eska, who was making her way towards them, wearing a wedding dress with her makeup running down her face, from her obviously crying.
"Wow. That one has it bad for you" Bolin said with a wince, as he used his own spyglass to take a look, while Will crushed her spyglass with a growl.
"Eska likes Naruto and wants to marry him," Korra said.
"That one?" Senna asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"Nice job bro" Mako said with a sigh as Will, Korra and Asami gave Bolin dirty looks, for pretty much outing Naruto's love life situation.
"Hey, you guys are still single, right? One of you can have her" Naruto said, as he looked at the brothers, with a hopeful look on his face.
"Pass" Mako said, as he shook his head at this.
"Not for all the food in your restaurant, buddy," Bolin said with a shudder.
Naruto groaned at this, as the ship booked it away from the South Pole.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were at their desks, when, like always….
Whooo! My movie is almost here! Deadpool yelled out happily, as he kicked the door open

Let's hope that now the vaccines are all done, we can rest a bit easier.
I would also like to point out that this is the last new fanfic that me and Kfbanime87 will be writing together until we finish one, as writing too many fanfics takes up too much time.
The harem is: Will, Korra, Asami, Opal and Ru. And don't worry, we have a plan for who to have Bolin pair with (which I'm sure will leave many of you shocked). Hope that you all enjoyed this fanfic, and once I've helped Kfbanime87, I'll be updating Jinchuriki Trainer next.
