Shadow was astounded, seeing Mei had wings like him knowing how fixated she was with his feeling proud of her seeing her flying around their house, as Maria was recordibg this only Shadow was anxious, in case she got outside showing her how to retract and reveal her wings explaining for now, she couldn't use her wings outside until they got stronger which Maria agreed on. "Dada, dada Shadow." Mei said astounding them.
"Mei-Mei you just talked and I'm your first words…. Dada's so proud of you for getting your wings now talking meaning you're growing up." Shadow to,d her seeing Maria agreeing sending it to Gerald because as Mei's creator he'd be proud of her how she was growing up seeing Shadow playing with Mei as helping her with her wings knowing with this happening, it might be time for Mei to have a toddler-bed instead of her crib only Maria was telling Shadow to be quiet about this in case Mei got upset being attached to her crib making him get this.
"We'll get to work on it, plus Mei's distracted right now, awwww she's looking at herself in the mirror especially her wings." Shadow told Maria
"Hey Mei enjoying your wings huh. Now you'll be able to snuggle them instead of daddy's all the time." Maria told her seeing Mei smile.
"Whoa, you're getting a toddler-bed for Mei, is that a good idea." Sonic asked Shadow seeing Mei flying around Tom and Maddie's house with Maddie and Maria worrying about the female-cub in case she got hurt or bumped her furry head hearing her crying, making Shadow feel worried, as he saw a bump making Maria freak out as Maddie got an ice pack putting it on Mei's furry lil gead hearing her whimpering but Shadow was humming to her which Sonic thought cute seeing Tom giving her a coomie which was helping distract her.
"Atta girl, as accidents happen. Plus she used her wings to escape her crib this morning, when I came in." Shadow told hug Mei cuddling her stuffie of him which they found sweet plus she was going down for her nap soon which meant tgey could talk about the toddler-bed thing without her getting mad which they got.
"She might be upset but she knows you love her." Sonic said to them hearing Mei yawning, which was a sign she was ready for her nap.
"Excuse me as I have to put Mei down for her nap, or we have to deal with a cranky cub." Shadow to,d themas he scooped Mei up going to the living-room putting Mei on the couch telling her a story, kissing her furry head seeing her asleep rejoining them as they were figuring out the plan.
