Hey guys, I know it's been a while. I wanted to write this chapter and finish this arc so bad, but a lot of stuff got in the way, and not the regular uni and work related stuff that just keeps getting worse. No, something happened after I posted the last chapter in my personal life. Something horrifying.
Whilst this month is the month of pride and acceptance, and is beautiful, the fact that June is also men's mental health month gets overlooked quite a lot, and I mean entirely. The reason I bring this up is because on April 3rd, my best friend tried and failed to take his own life. He's been to the hospital and has been on suicide watch, but had circumstances played out differently, things would have gone a hell of a lot worse for him.
I have spent all my time on him, so much so that I've failed my major uni subject for this semester, and I have no regrets, I can retake that course, but my best friend only has one life. I went out and bought a PS5 so we could play shit together, hung out with him every moment our schedules allowed, and was generally just by his side the entire time. Writing didn't take a backburner this time, it was completely cut out of my life.
I am happy to report that my friend is doing better. He's not great, and won't be for a long time, he might never fully recover from this, but I just wanted to thank you all for your patience, and that I have not forgotten about this, or left it to die. I am simply putting a lot of energy elsewhere at the moment.
But anyway, enough depressing shit, onto the story!
All four members of Kiddy Party awoke at once to the sounds of explosions, fire and screaming. Ryuu was the first to react, quickly getting up and reaching for her sword, only to realise she hadn't bought it with her during their outing the day prior. She realised she also didn't have her armour or gear with her, making matters even worse for them. The realised all she was good for was her magic, 3 level 1 adventurers with magic.
As the floor slammed open, startling the four kids and revealing a woman in her very early twenties, Ryuu subconsciously corrected herself. They were also a level 7 adventurer who could take anyone in Orario. Relief washed over her as the woman approached, before she commanded the four of them. "Get up. This city needs it's heroes, and you four are going to deliver." said the woman. The girls looked on in shock, obviously expecting Alfia to come to the rescue and make everything disappear. That was obviously not the case. "Now more than ever, Orario is in ruins and terror. The only way for it to return to the way it was before, when Zeus and Hera looked over this city, is for the next generation to stand up and fight. Don't rely on your elders forever."
Ardee looked at the woman, before thinking a joke might lift the spirits of the others. "Can we really call you our elder? You're less than double my age, or Ryuu's."
Alfia turned to the blue haired child and scoffed. "You have a silver tongue, girl. It can get you out of trouble as much as it can get you into trouble. Be careful with it." she simply replied, before turning to the door. "This day, I will fight for Orario once more." she told them, throwing the two doors open, before turning back to the kids. "Make sure to support me, okay?"
No that got the others motivated. With no gear, weapons or plan, the four children followed the strongest woman in the world, to save the city they all called home.
The trio of Loki Familia executives looked at the carnage before them. Explosions rocked the city's north-western section, blood flooded the streets and corpses laid scattered across the ground. Finn looked on in distain as he saw a mixture of bodies that didn't belong, wearing rugged black cloaks not dissimilar from Evilus. But was this the doing of Evilus, or some other terror organisation claiming to be them? Finn couldn't know for sure until he knew more. However, it seemed problems were only just beginning as explosions continued to sound just a little further away from their location. There was no time to think. Only to act.
Finn turned back to address his familia. "Spread out and search for survivors here! All second-class and higher adventurers are to head to the newer explosions and prepare for battle with the enemy! Move out!" he ordered as he rushed to the battle, gripping his spear tightly in his arms, ready to end the lives of those who would bring terror and calamity to the people of Orario. Evilus or not, there were people in the city that needed to be stopped. And he, as the false hero of the Pallum race, would be the one to send the enemy back to the hell hole they crawled out of.
The Loki Familia was quick to move. Even the veteran adventurers like Dain, Noir and Bara were quick enough on their feet that they were able to travel the distance in just under a minute. However, as they leapt over the last of the rooftops they realised they were a minute too late. Ragged cloaks rushed across the battlefield, not one moving slower than a level 2 adventurer, so there were definitely a few level 3s and 4s in the mix. They ran as they swung their weapons in wild arcs, cutting down the people of Orario like they were butchers at the slaughterhouse, laughing and yelling as they did.
Loki Familia acted immediately. Finn didn't even need to give the order as they rushed in, their battle cries acting as a deterrent to the monsters but also a sign of peace and safety for the civilians in the middle of the mess. As the Loki Familia had done so many times before, they readied their weapons and charged at the enemy, before swinging their own blades down on them as though they were monsters in the Dungeon. Not one hesitated as they began to cut through the murderers.
However, the number of adventurers in the Loki Familia at the level of 3 or above was 32. It was one of the highest in Orario, second only to Freya with a current 35, closely followed by Ganesha's 31. But the number of murderers here must have reached over 80 or 90. They outnumbered the Loki Familia 3 to 1, so even if all the members were taken care of, they couldn't possibly save all the people here as well. It was just impossible.
Finn didn't care about impossible.
He roared as he charged in, swinging his spear around to cut down as many as possible. If he could take on 20 or so on his own and take the burden off his Familia, they could get through this much quicker. He just needed to target the level 3 or 4 adventurers to give his Familia the best chance.
"BRAVER FINN!"
Finn stopped, as did everyone else, to turn to the voice, and stare in horror. Another hooded figure, holding a cleaver stuck in a person's skull, stared at the pallum with a smile. "How nice of you to join us!"
Finn recognised the man. "The Prince of Hell, Vassago Casals." muttered Finn, gripping his spear. "Vice-Captain of the Thanatos Familia. Picking up where Xaxa left off last time?" he said, trying to stir up the fellow level 5. However, as he expected, it had no affect on the man, only serving to make him laugh.
"Xaxa rushed in too soon, but you'll find I won't have the same issue when facing you, Braver." replied the Evilus Executive. "If you think that either myself or Laughing Coffin will go down easy, you're in for a rude awakening!"
Finn grit his teeth as he looked up at the hooded man, who in turn smirked back at him. "What's your goal here PoH?" asked Finn, trying to figure out why this was happening. If he had the most amount of information possible, it would be best for coming up with counterattacks later down the line. "I know you aren't the kind of guy that sows unnecessary chaos. What are you planning?"
"Huh?" let out the murderer, rubbing his ear with his pinky, as if to clean it out. "What? Are you expecting some grand dialogue of my plans and how we'll take over the world or some stupid hero story shit like that?" he asked before bursting out laughing. "Don't be a fool, Finn the Braver. Like hell I'll tell you shit! Put that pea brain to use and figure it out yourself!"
'So there is some greater purpose I'm not seeing...' muttered Finn inside his mind. 'I'll stash that away for later. Right now I need to focus on this fight.' he recollected himself before turning his spear in his hands to warm himself up, before noticing something odd. 'That's weird... why does my spear feel heavier than it usually does? I'm not moving it as fast as I usually do either.' he thought to himself, before his eyes went wide as realisation set in. "Johnny Black! 'The Basilisk' is here too! He's lowering our status! Everyone be careful!" he called out, getting a few gasps from his Familia as they seemed to notice that they were weaker than before as well.
"Aw, ruin all my fun, why don't you, Braver?!" called out another voice, appearing on another rooftop. This figure also had the same getup as Vassago and the others, but had included what appeared to be a small potato sack over his head with eyes cut out to allow him to see. "Darbh Doal is quite the spell! It lets me lower your status and make this fight much more fun for us!" yelled the poison user. "Now we can fight on more even levels! Isn't that right, Xaxa?"
The Loki turned back around to see the man with the glowing red eyes and the skull mask standing behind them. "Oh this is gonna be good~" he sang, smirking at the Loki Familia. The two groups raised their weapons, some beginning to chant their spells quietly, trying to keep it as discrete as possible.
Vassago smirked, unsheathing his Mate Chopper from his back and jumping down, starting the fight. "It's showtime!" he yelled as he swung down at Finn, clashing spear against dagger as the fresh cries of battle surrounded them.
"... Let the gates of heaven open up and allow your holy power to flow. First Gate: Kenkou no Mon!" called out Akihide as he summoned his magic on the injured civilians. The group of five had quickly arrived at one of the older sites of the explosions, where the lower levelled members of the Loki Familia were treating the civilians. Akihide and Airmid were quick to begin administering treatment, Airmid having grown up with Dian Cecht Familia and knowing enough about first aid and healing to begin healing the injured civilians who didn't require potions or magic.
Akihide, on the other hand was able to supply the magic needed for a good regeneration healing spell that worked as an AoE spell, allowing him to heal several people at once. The more critically injured were moved to him to heal up as mind potions were spent keeping Kenkou no Mon active and healing.
Alfia turned to the sound of fighting in the distance. "Seems that Loki Familia is having trouble dealing with Evilus. Perhaps there's someone there who can do some lasting damage. I need to get over there and help. Akihide and Airmid will focus on healing whilst Ryuu and Ardee provide support and protect them." she ordered, before shushing as Ardee and Ryuu made to retort. "Your job is to protect these people. You can't do much against the threat being faced right now, so do what you can and save as many lives as you can. There will come a time when you are powerful enough to save other people in combat, but today is not that day. Be the heroes you can be, but strive to be better heroes tomorrow. For now, do your part and allow me to do mine." she said, before turning around and rushing towards the sound of battle.
Ryuu and Ardee began nodding, picking up a pair of swords that had been discarded on the street, from felling adventurers most likely, and took up positions with the other members of the Loki Familia protecting the healers as they treated the civilians, whilst also supplying the healers with enough mind potions to keep them going whilst healing at an almost non-stop rate. Akihide was especially taxed, seeing as his healing spell was much more efficient as a multi-target healer for the lower levelled injuries. He was constantly downing mind potions whilst keeping his gate active, placing a great amount of stress on his mind and his body.
'Is this what it means to be a hero?' asked Akihide to himself as Ryuu fed him another mind potion. 'To save lives like this? To be nothing but a healer?' he asked before slapping himself in the face mentally. 'Yes. I'm saving lives. That is the duty of a hero, to save everyone. To save as many lives as possible, and then go beyond to save even more."
Those last words stuck with him as the sounds of the injured crying began to be drowned out into nothingness.
'To go beyond...'
Finn jumped down as Vassago slammed his new weapon into the rooftop where he stood just a moment before. He hadn't been this slow since just after his rank up to level 5. The work of Darbh Doal was influencing this fight. Loki Familia was quickly weakening to either a state prior to their last rank up or just after their last rank up, making it much more difficult for them to move around as their body tried to keep up with the muscle memory of their moves. Even Finn was struggling to try and get his body to respond in a way that fit his current stats as opposed to the more powerful version of him from 10 minutes ago or so.
"What's the matter, Braver?!" yelled Vassago in glee, jumping down to follow the pallum. "I thought you would be Orario's hero, but you're running away like a chick scared of the fox at the farm! You cowardly child!" he called out before slamming his new weapon into the ground, destroying the pavement and sending debris everywhere. "Still not enough... I need to kill more people... make this thing strong enough to go up against her..." he muttered to himself, looking down at the seemingly beating blade of Mate Chopper.
Finn groaned as he stood up, turning to see how everyone else was doing. Gareth was taking on Johnny Black, who had been dodging the dwarf's attacks thanks to his high agility and dexterity stats, whilst Xaxa was taking on Riveria, with the backup of Noir and Bara acting as a vanguard to allow Riveria to cast her magic. All things considered, things were not looking good for the Loki Familia. Finn clenched his teeth, cursing silently the black particles that were making him too weak to go up against the high level 5 Evilus executive, as Vassago currently outmatched him in every aspect.
'In all honesty, with that new weapon of his, it feels more like fighting a level 6...' thought a despairing Finn, before shaking his head. 'I can't think like that. He simply seems stronger due to Darbh Doal. I don't think he ranked up, but he certainly seems like it through his confidence. If he had though, this fight would be already over. I need to level the playing field. I need to use that!' he reasoned with himself, turning to his Vice Captain. "Riveria!" he called out, getting the attention of everyone on the battlefield. "I'm leaving you in charge! Take over the command of the others!" he called out, before he tapped the blade of his spear on his forehead. "Magic spear, penetrate my forehead offering blood! Hell Finegas!" he yelled out as his eyes turned red, signalling that his magic was in effect and buffing his stats considerably. Back to what they were before Darbh Doal, or maybe a little more than that.
"Oho!" exclaimed the Prince of Hell as Finn jumped at him. The two locked blades, both with cruel smiles on their faces, Vassago's from his opportunity to kill Finn, and Finn from his skill making him a bloodthirsty, battle hungry maniac prepared, willing and desiring to kill the enemy in front of him. "Now it's getting interesting! It's showtime!" he yelled as the two started trading blows.
With Finn's power up, the fight became much more even now. Since Vassago had Mate Chopper, which had taken about 20 lives since he started using it at the beginning of the day, it had become sharper, whilst also becoming slightly lighter to him but just as little heavier to his opponents when they locked blades. Barca really outdid himself with his forging, the level 4 having made something truly worthy of being called a masterpiece. It had taken Thanatos a while to convince Barca to stop working on Knossos like his bloodline demanded in order to make the weapon from an extremely rare ore that had been gifted to them by one of the merchants affiliated with them, apparently from all the way down at Floor 61 of the Dungeon, in the Glacier Territory the Zeus and Hera Familia frequented, making it unattainable in the modern day.
However, Finn Deimne was not to be underestimated either. Whilst he was well known for his strategies, his instincts was where he truly shined. Hell Finegas clouded his judgement, but his instincts and bloodlust took over, allowing him to fight much more unpredictably than he usually did. Whilst relinquishing his position of leader to Riveria, he became obsessed with battle, wanting to fight the strongest of opponents. However, there was still some level of consciousness in his mind, allowing him to distinguish friend from foe, and protect those that needed it. It took considerable willpower, as his mind was constantly overtaken with the desire of battle, but he was able to attack those he needed to whilst protecting those closest to him.
As the battle between the two waged on, the rest of the battlefield was in shambles as well. There, between the bodies of what could only be around 100 dead civilians, were the bodies of 10 members of the new Laughing Coffin, as well as 4 members of the Loki Familia's level 3s, who had been taken out by Xaxa before his face off with Riveria, Noir and Bara. Bodies littered the streets, making it difficult for the others to move. However, that did not stop Laughing Coffin's attempts to end the lives of the Loki Familia at all cost. There were a grand total of 3 level 5, 6 level 4s and the remaining 19 level 3s of the Loki Familia, and Laughing Coffin wanted to cut them all down.
Johnny Black laughed as he jumped back, avoiding Gareth who swung again with his powerful axe. "Wow! Such power! Shame you can't hit me~" he sang to the dwarf as he continued his maniacal laughter as he moved around the dwarf. "If you've survived this long, you must have one hell of an Abnormal Resistance, what's the rank? Is it H? No, G?"
"You talk too much..." shot back Gareth, pissed that he got stuck with the quick bastard. He supposed most of this Laugh Coffin squad would be based around agility as opposed to strength due to their connection to murder and Evilus, but this was just ridiculous. He was not meant to be agile, that was Finn's thing, and even Riveria was faster than him. He was not meant for these types of battles, but he had to just make do if he wanted to save the rest of his Familia by lifting his magic. "I should squash you like a bug and be done with you and Evilus."
"Scary!" cried out a mocking Johnny Black, before turning away from Gareth and beginning to run. "You'll have to catch me first, you slow dwarf!" he called out mockingly as he started running. Gareth roared as he chased after the fast little poisoner.
'All I know is he can't use his poison spell as long as Darbh Doal is in play.' thought Gareth as he took after the murderous boy. "I'll bring you down!" he proclaimed loudly, as the cowardly poisoner continued to run. 'I just need to try and corner him, or maybe send him colliding with someone else. If I can take this guy down, the entire battle will change in our favour! This guy needs to be put down!' he reasoned, still pursuing the fleeing man.
Meanwhile, Noir and Bara were focusing heavily on taking Xaxa on in close combat so Riveria could focus on her spells. Riveria was focused heavily on casting her spell, carefully weaving and powering it in a way that minimised the impact on her allies whilst dishing out the most damage possible to the enemy. However, due to Darbh Doal, it was taking a considerable amount of effort to ensure everything was perfect. "Closing light, the freezing land. Blizzard, the three severe winters - my name is Alf! Wynn Fimbulvetr!" she called out as the magic was cast. Ice engulfed the area, as the ground became icy, and a glacier area formed around the battlefield, catching more than a few members of Laughing Coffin, encasing them in ice or just smashing ice into them and killing them. It let up the pressure as the numbers of the enemy had been thinned out quite a bit. Riveria sighed as she readied herself for her healing magic to try and help the others.
"Riveria! Look out!" yelled out Noir, getting Riveria's attention as her staff interrupted a stab from Xaxa's rapier.
"Not bad, Nine Hells!" yelled out the crazed murderer, jumping up and taking another stab at the high elf, only to be blocked by her spear again. "So you can fight as well as cast magic, but you're technique is lacking considerably." he said to her, mocking the green haired elf. "It's almost as bad as that fox brat you're taking care of! You can only hold out for so long before hoping some else comes to save you and finish the job!"
Riveria smirked. "Last I checked, you got out sped by that little boy. Must be embarrassing for you." she said, mocking the man as well, watching as he grit his teeth in anger and yelled out as he swiped his blade at her, only for the elf to dodge it and jump back.
"I'm gonna poke so many holes in that boy you won't be able to distinguish him from cheese!" yelled the skull mask covered man. He could only smirk as he saw Riveria raise her staff to attack him. "Did I strike a nerve, oh great queen of the elves? About some poor boy who could never love you like a mother! You'll fail that boy, and when he's bleeding on the floor with my blade through his chest, I'll make him curse you all the way to heaven as his soul is beautifully cleansed, before sending you after him!" he cried out and mocked the elf, who had veins in her head popping and murder in her eyes.
"You will not touch him!" she yelled, charging in. "Assemble, breath of the land - my name is Alf! Veil Breath!" she yelled, casting her protection magic on herself as she swung her staff at the murderer. Whilst it didn't revert the damage caused by Darbh Doal, it would protect her from further magical attacks or physical attacks slightly, as well as heal some of her more minor wounds. As her staff collided with the murderer's rapier, she yelled at the top of her lungs, "You will never touch my son!"
"HAHAHA!" laughed Xaxa, smiling savagely at the elf. "I'll gut him like a fish and let the monsters of the dungeon eat his innards like breadcrumbs!" he said with maniacal laughter.
"No you won't."
Both elf and human turned to their left to see an eerily similar woman with silver hair and a black and green dress holding out her hand at the human. A bell chimed as her magic took effect. "Gospel."
Too caught up in the fact Alfia had appeared again, Xaxa was not prepared to get suddenly and violently sent back with a blast of sound, screaming as he was sent into a nearby building, blasting through the walls and out the other side of the house, completely battered and unconscious.
Riveria looked up at her former rival, who looked down at her with a look of disappointment. "Alfia..." muttered Riveria, only getting a scoff from the woman as she turned around.
"I expected you and the others to at least be level 6 by now. You're disappointing me, Elf Princess, and letting Orario fall into chaos once more. This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't thrown us out." she chastised the elf more than 4 times her age. She sighed as she looked to everyone who had stopped fighting to watch her. "You're not good enough to be a vanguard, so stay in the rear and support while I take care of this." she ordered as she dashed off after her next target, the one enforcing the magic in the area. It took her all of half a second to appear before Johnny Black, who looked in horror before realising how badly he was about to get his ass whooped.
"Uh oh..." was all he was able to get out before a punch to his stomach sent him crashing down into the house he was standing on top of and all the way down to the ground, leaving him in a small crater. Alfia dropped to one knee and began to cough violently afterwards.
'Not good...' she thought, looking at the blood in her glove as the other members of the Loki Familia around them had their strength return and began fighting back with all they had. 'At this rate... I'll have enough strength left for two attacks, either magical or physical... I'm not much use right now, I should retreat and get my strength back.' she thought as she stood up, looking as a swarm of men in cloaks came charging at her with the intent to kill. She held out her hand, and launched another round of magic. "Gospel." she chanted once more, sending the enemy flying back into the path of the Loki Familia, as they began killing and capturing the enemy.
PoH looked down at the carnage and grit his teeth. "Not good..." he muttered, before blocking another attack from Finn, still under the effects of Hell Finegas. 'He's too strong now that Johnny's magic's been taken out. There's not much more I can do about this situation. It'll be best to give up and retreat for now, recollect our forces and grow so we can crush them next time.' he thought bitterly, before catching a glance of Alfia, her back turned. 'Her fault... it was going perfectly until she showed up... I need to take her out now!' he thought as he jumped out of the way of another of Finn's slashes, before jumping over at the level 7. 'Mate Chopper might gain a hell of a lot more Excilia if I slice open a level 7 rather than a bunch of useless people on the street! I need to kill her while I have this chance!'
"Alfia! Behind you!" yelled out Gareth, watching Vassago launch himself at the unsuspecting level 7, who turned around and scoffed as she raised her hands, only to stop as she burst into a coughing fit and throwing up blood.
'Shit...' she thought, as blood kept pouring out of her mouth. 'I can't even chant out Gospel like this... I need to dodge this...' she thought as she looked up at Vassago, still coming towards her but incredibly slowly from the perspective of a level 7. 'I can do this easily. Just roll out of the way and dodge.' she thought as she began to move, only for her expectations to be shattered as a flash of white appeared before her, toughing her shoulder before the two of them moved to a different roof entirely. Alfia looked up to see Akihide standing over her.
"To go beyond, right?" he asked her, turning around and smiling. "That's what it means to be a hero, isn't it?" he asked again. Alfia looked up at him, before standing up slowly, blood still dribbling down from her lips to her chin as she gave the small boy a head pat. She was right all along, this boy would be a hero.
However, Alfia quickly brought the boy close to her as she held out her hands, catching something invisible. "I can tell you're there. You might be invisible, but you're still far too noisy." she said, watching as a shimmer appeared before her, revealing Xaxa.
"Damn you, level 7! Let me kill the boy!" he demanded, trying to pry his weapon from the grip of the woman. "Let his soul be cleansed in beautiful reincarnation!"
"No." was the only reply he got before Alfia sent him back with a kick to the gut. He rolled on the roof moving backwards a bit before coming to a stop, a small trail of upturned and destroyed roof tiles in the wake of the kick, a little underwhelming for a level 7, but she was running on nothing and extremely sick today. No sick enough, however, to dive to the side and avoid a swing of a dagger from Johnny Black, who had come up behind her.
However, reinforcements quickly arrived, as a now non-Hell Finegas Finn jumped between the murderous Thanatos Familia member, as well as the Hera Familia Executive and his newest Familia member. "Not today, or any day." coldly said Finn, as Gareth also mad his move, jumping down on the path Xaxa took after getting kicked by Alfia.
Johnny black grit his teeth, before dropping an orb, which exploded into purple smoke, much like from days earlier, before the entire area erupted in said smoke, shots of confusion and pain going through the smoke.
And through it all, the alarming voice of Vassago rang out. "Until we meet again, Loki Familia."
Akihide was the worst affected by the smoke, being poison smoke, the weakest there, and with no Abnormal Resistance Development Ability. Alfia was quick to jump out of the smoke after she heard him coughing, as the rest of the Loki Familia as well as backup from the Ganesha Familia who were helping the civilians at the other area came to help with the captured and deceased. Alfia sighed as she got up, leaving Akihide in the hands of Riveria, who came rushing over to make sure he was okay, before quickly disappearing into the cityscape of Orario, promising to be back.
Akihide remembered blacking out as Ardee rushed over to him with a healing potion, yelling his name in worry. As the darkness of unconsciousness consumed him, he could only hope that he was able to help enough people as he had that day.
Akihide woke up three days later in his bed. It was noon, so he woke up by himself, Megumi no Hana clutched in his hands. He smiled as he got up, walking over to his window, and opening the window on a new day for him. He breathed in the air, the air he helped make this nice and refreshing, before deciding what to do that day.
"I am a hero." he said to himself, putting on his adventurer gear. "But to be a better hero, I need to get stronger."
And so, to the dungeon he did go.
But not before getting Gareth to go with him. He was not about to get on Riveria's bad side again. He had learnt that lesson.
I hope you guys enjoyed the end of this chapter, which also ends what I am calling, the 'Hero Birth' mini-arc. Next chapter will have another timeskip as we go into the 'Rank Up' and 'Ais Introduction' mini-arcs. I'm looking forward to exploring these with you, as well as the changes to canon that these arcs are going to have. We're still a long way off from any more extremely major story changes, but I'm excited that we're getting close to them. But anyway, I want to take a look at another Freya Familiar omake. Enjoy.
Omake : Akihide Okami - Vanadis Odr (3)
Akihide was sent flying to the ground by his teacher, Allen Fromel. That cat person was not taking it easy on the young boy, even when he was only 7. Well, Allen was 15, but it still didn't help Akihide that he was facing the level 5 Vice-Captain of the Freya Familia as a level 1 newbie.
"Too weak." Allen called out, mocking the young boy. "Way too weak. You should be ashamed of yourself. Don't call yourself a member of Freya Familia while you're this weak." he said, disgusted that he had to waste his time training this loser. "You're not strong enough to use that spear as a weapon, so don't even try to. You should pick something else."
"No way..." responded Akihide, finding the strength to stand up. "This... is my... weapon... and... my... choice..." he said, glaring at his teacher. "Please... train me... to be... as... strong... as you... Sensei..."
Allen felt a vein pop in his forehead. "I think you just insulted my height..." he said, confusing Akihide, but not enough for his to ask what he meant by that. "Prepare for judgement!" he yelled out, as he charged at Akihide with the training spear.
This was the setup for most of their early training lessons, Akihide getting absolutely beat up by Allen Fromel, who occasionally gave him tips on how to 'suck less'.
Anyway ladies and gentlemen, that's enough for no, so this is Striker777, over and out.
