The author is seated at a desk, furiously typing away on their laptop. Suddenly, the room is filled with a bright flash of light. Out of nowhere, the M-Team appear, looking slightly disoriented. The author is unfazed, clearly used to this kind of interruption.

Author: (sighs) So, what is it this time? Did someone mess up the timeline again?

Ladybug: (raises hand sheepishly) Uh, yeah, about that… We kind of ran into ourselves in 1985, and now there are two versions of us running around. And one of them stole a DeLorean.

Author: (facepalms) Please tell me you didn't mess with any historical events.

Cat Noir: Not exactly… unless you count the fact that we accidentally stopped Marty McFly from playing "Johnny B. Goode" at the dance.

Author: (eyes widen) So, you're telling me that not only have you broken the space-time continuum, but you've also potentially erased the existence of rock and roll? (calms down) Okay, so how do we fix this?

Gray Wolf: We thought about finding Doc Brown, but then we realized we could just come back here and ask you to rewrite it.

Author: (groans) You know it doesn't work that way. But fine. (types furiously) There, I've patched it up. Now Marty's back on stage, and you all need to avoid your past selves like they're the plague. Got it?

Sky Falcon: Got it. Avoid the alternate us, avoid the DeLorean, avoid… wait, what's a flux capacitor again?

Author: (throws up hands) You know what? Just go. Before I decide to throw in a paradox for fun.

The M-Team vanish as suddenly as they appeared, and the author returns to typing with a resigned sigh.

Author: I really need to stop watching time travel movies while writing…

It was Marinette's parents' 20th wedding anniversary, and they were preparing themselves to go out for a meal. Marinette had just walked down the stairs to see her mother putting a flower in her hair.

"Well? With or without?" her mother asked.

"Uh, with?" said Marinette.

"You're sure it's not better without?"

"Either way, you look perfect, Mum," Marinette assured her.

"You know? It's not every day you celebrate your twentieth wedding anniversary," her mother said excitedly.

"Marinette!" her father yelled. "Could you have a minute, please?" Marinette quickly dashed down into the bakery. "Well?"

"Well, what?" Marinette frowned.

"My moustache, I groomed it," he said. "Is it too short? Should I shave the whole thing off? Maybe it's a little crooked on one—"

"You look perfect, Dad. Uh, except for one thing," she said, pointing down at his dirty apron, which he was still wearing around his waist.

"Uh? Thanks, sweetheart," he said, dashing off to take off his apron.

"No problem, Dad!" Marinette chuckled.

Very much later, Marinette pushed her parents out of the door.

"You're going to be late!" she said.

"Now, don't forget Mrs Chamack will be coming by to pick up the Eiffel Tower cake in 30 minutes," her father reminded her. "I'm depending on you."

"Yeah, yeah. No sweat, piece of cake," said Marinette, closing the door.

Her parents looked at one another, still slightly concerned, before heading to the restaurant.

"Wow, married twenty years," said Marinette as she let Tikki out of her jacket. "That's pretty cool, huh, Tikki?"

"Time flies when you're having fun," said Tikki.

"And stands still when you're doing homework," said Marinette as she grabbed her maths homework.

Tikki merely chuckled.

Scene: Le Grand Paris.

Marinette's parents had taken their seats at the Le Grand Paris. Tom then noticed Alix sitting across them and waved at them, who waved back.

Alix then looked back at her father, who was sitting opposite her. "They're Marinette's parents. You know, one of the chicks I hang out with?"

Mr Kubdel nodded. "Yes, I remember. They make the best bread in the whole of Paris." He then looked down and saw one of Alix's trainers. "Couldn't you have made more of an effort to dress nicely?"

"What do you mean? I took off my cap," said Alix, pointing at her cap.

"But this is a special day."

"Well, it's only a birthday."

"No, this is a special birthday," Mr Kubdel corrected as he reached inside his jacket pocket and pulled out a pocket watch. "This family heirloom was made by one of our ancestors many, many years ago. It's been passed down from one generation to the next on their 15th birthday. And today, it's your turn to inherit it."

He then placed the watch on the table and pushed it towards Alix.

Alix didn't seem too impressed. "It's pretty sweet, dad." She then showed him her wristwatch. "But I've already got a watch synced up to my smartphone.

Her father smiled. "But sometimes there's more to things than meets the eye. Let's just say that our ancestor was…" He opened the watch, and a holographic woman holding a large clock appeared. "…Ahead of his time."

Alix gasped at the watch, one lost for words.

"Of course, I'd understand if you'd rather me buy you a new pair of rollerblades," her father offered as he closed the watch.

"No, Dad! I'm stoked to have it," said Alix, quickly taking the watch. "It's awesome, thank you!"

She then heard her phone ring.

"Are your friends waiting?" her father asked

"Yeah, but I don't wanna bail on you. It's cool."

Her father shook her head. "No, no, go ahead." Alix got up and grabbed her. "Now, take good care of it."

Scene: Tom Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie.

Back in her room, Marinette attempted to do her homework, which was rather tricky, with Tikki cheering her on loudly.

"Come on, Marinette!" Tikki yelled encouragingly. "You can do it! Just remember the formula. Think, Marinette, think!"

"I might be able to do it if you weren't distracting me so much with your encouraging words!" Marinette pointed out.

Tikki giggled.

Marinette saw Alya was calling her and quickly answered her phone. "Hey, Alya. What's up?" She then started to panic. "The what? The bet between Alix and Kim? No, of course, I didn't forget! I already made the banner for it!" Her eyes turned towards the banner across the room with a confident smile. "I know everyone's counting on me." Within seconds, that confident smile disappeared. "In 5 minutes?! No sweat. I'm on my way already. Be right there!"

When she ended the call, Marinette began to panic; she had completely forgotten about the bet.

"But Marinette, you have to wait for Mrs Chamack to pick up her cake!" Tikki reminded her as she quickly made a mad dash for the banner.

"Gahhh! I've got 20 minutes before she gets here," said Marinette as she quickly set the timer on her phone. "I told them I'd take care of the banner, and they're all counting on me! Besides, Adrien will be there too!

"You'll never make it to Trocadéro in 5 minutes; it's way too far!" Tikki pointed out.

BONK!

Suddenly, a motorcycle helmet flew from the window and made a clean hit on Marinette's head, knocking her off her feet.

"What the?"

Rubbing her head with annoyance, she made her way to the balcony where she saw Camilla leaning on her white electric bike as she waved.

"Need a ride?"

Scene: Trocadéro.

Everybody was present and were eager to see the race between Kim and Alix.

"Nope," said Toby with arms crossed.

"Please." Nino pleaded

"No way."

"Come on, dude, I've seen your enthusiasm and it can hype up the crowd."

"Yeah, and it was only a matter of life and death. This isn't."

"Life and death, sports commentary, same energy, man. Just imagine the thrill you could bring to the race! People need to know who's leading, who's lagging, the intensity of every step! You could be the voice of this epic showdown!"

"Hey Nino," said Kim, "Leave him alone. I'm sure he's just a big chicken to announce my awesomeness."

That seemed to do the trick as Toby turned to the athlete with a glare, "You know, for someone who's all bark and no bite, you really haven't learned from our last bet."

Flashback.

In the school cafeteria, everyone gathered around a table in anticipation where Kim and Toby sat, engaged in an intense arm-wrestling match.

The previous bet was for the loser to wear a dress like a girl for the whole following day.

The two competitors strained against each other, their faces reflecting determination and concentration. The struggle continued, each refusing to give an inch.

As the seconds ticked by, Toby's efforts intensified, surprising everyone with his strength. Slowly but steadily, he pushed Kim's arm down, securing victory with everyone cheering.

And you can quite imagine what happened the next day.

Thankfully, it was during the weekend.

And to be frank, he didn't look too bad-ish.

Back to the present time.

Everyone winced at the roast and some were laughing at the reminder.

"That was just pure luck," said an embarrassed Kim, trying to save face.

"Sure, it was," said the unconvinced twin who then sighed, realizing he was losing the battle against Nino's persuasion, "Fine, fine. But I'm doing this under protest. Don't blame me if my commentary steals the spotlight."

Nino slapped Toby on the back, grinning. "That's the spirit!"

It was then that Camilla and Marinette arrived with the latter showing them the banner, and everyone looked at it delighted, apart from Chloé.

"Impressive, Marinette!" said Adrien, winking at Marinette, much to Chloé's displeasure, and Marinette giggled in return.

"You all picked the wrong side to cheer on," said Kim. "Looks like Alix isn't even showing up! Probably too chicken to race an extreme athlete like me."

"Spoke too soon, Kim," said Alix as she skated over, causing everyone to cheer. "Your ridiculous bets are over. I'm gonna leave you in the dust, meathead!"

"You're no match for me. My neck is bigger than your thigh."

"Is that a good thing?" Alya laughed, and Marinette and Camilla laughed as well.

Soon, an upbeat music was playing in the background as Toby stepped in as he began to speak in a baritone announcer voice, "Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for an epic dare showdown????!!!!!"

This got everyone cheering.

"In this corner stands a jock with a body built for the Olympics. This jock's got brains right in his biceps and his bark is far worse than his bite. Release! The top dog! Le Chien Kim!"

Cue Kim flexing his muscles.

"And in this other corner stands am extreme skater with an attitude and wheels that scream 'Rolling Thunder'. She may be small but don't let that fool you for she's mighty. We Have! Alix Kubdel!"

Cue Alix standing smugly.

Just as Toby left, Max took his place, "Let's review the official rules—two laps around the fountains, approximately 500 yards. The first one over the line is declared the victor! If Kim triumphs, Alix will relinquish her rollerblades to him. If Alix triumphs, Kim will be prohibited from making another dare for the rest of the school year."

"We're through with all of those stupid dares!" said Juleka.

"Uh-huh, that's right!" Ivan agreed.

"No more dares!" Nathaniel cheered.

Alix and Kim then got ready to race.

"On your marks, get set…" said Max.

"Hold up!" Alix yelled, causing Kim to fall, making everyone laugh.

"Forfeiting already?" Kim smirked.

Alix ignored him and handed Alya her watch. "Hold on to this for me, will you, Alya? I don't wanna drop it during the race."

"Hold on, girl, I can't!" said Alya, who was holding her phone in her other hand. "I gotta…"

"Guard it with your life. It's a family heirloom!" said Alix as she skated to the starting line.

"But…" Alya then handed the watch over to Marinette. " Marinette, take this. I gotta record the race for my blog!"

"On your marks, get set… GO!" Max yelled.

Alix and Kim then took off, with Kim running on foot while Alix used her rollerblades with everyone cheering. Marinette was finding it difficult to hold the banner with only one hand, especially with Nino on the other end, moving it enthusiastically.

"But… she asked you to look after it," said Marinette to Alya. "I gotta hold up the banner!"

Alya was so focused on recording the race that she didn't hear Marinette. Marinette was then suddenly pulled to the side, dropping the watch. Fortunately, Adrian was able to grab it before it hit the ground.

"Need any help?" he asked.

"Uh… yup! Thanks. Gotta be careful! Even if you are amazing," Marinette stuttered.

Adrien just raised an eyebrow. "Uh?"

"At… holding things! In your hands," said Marinette quickly.

Everyone cheered as Alix and Kim zoomed by.

"Last lap!" Max announced.

Marinette used this opportunity to sneak back to her two friends.

Alya raised an eyebrow at her. "Amazing at holding things?"

Marinette just stood there mortified. And Just as Camilla wanted to give an input, the bluenette cut her off with a death glare, "Don't say a word or I'll haunt your dreams."

"Adrikins, whatcha got there?" Chloé asked, snatching the watch from Adrien. "Some super old case or something?"

"Careful, it's Alix's!" said Adrien.

"If it's Alix's, it's probably worthless."

Adrien looked at her furiously, and Marinette wasn't too pleased either.

"Give it back to Adrien, Chloé," said Marinette.

Naturally, Chloé ignored the request and opened the watch but jumped back in surprise.

Alix and Kim were almost at the finishing line, and Alix had just overtaken Kim on the last corner and was rushing towards the finishing line. At that point, Chloé dropped the watch onto the racing track, and Alix skated over it, breaking it.

Everyone fell into silence as they stared at the broken watch.

Alix was unaware that she had skated over her own watch and made her hand up in victory. "Yeah! Hahaha!"

She then spun around and asked in horror when she saw the broken watch.

"I call a rematch," said Kim, who was also unaware of the disaster Kim. "That false start back there threw me off! Uh…"

Alix slowly skated over towards the watch and picked up the broken pieces. She then immediately turned towards Alya furiously.

"Did you do this?!" she yelled.

"I had to videotape the race, so I gave it to Marinette, but then she had to hold the banner, so she gave it to Adrien, then Chloé snatched it from him and dropped it and, uh, then you skated over it," Alya explained.

"My old man gave me this for my birthday!" said Alix in tears. "This watch is totally a family heirloom!"

"It was an accident!" said Marinette.

"We didn't mean any harm, Alix," said Adrien.

"As if! I totally had nothing to do with this," said Chloé.

"You mean the same watch that fell from your very hands," glowered Camilla, "Next thing you'll tell us is that you have a half sister from America who broke it!"

"Alix, wait!" Marinette yelled, chasing after her.

"Marinette, what about Mrs Chamack's cake?" Tikki reminded her.

"There's still time! Hide, Tikki!" said Marinette.

Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.

Hawk Moth could sense the negative emotions coming from Alix.

"Such disappointment, frustration and negativity…" he said, opening his window. "Oh, how it fills my heart with exhilaration." He then turned a butterfly into an Akuma, and it fluttered out of his lair. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize her!"

Scene: Le Grand Paris.

Meanwhile, Miss Chamack was at the bakery and knocked on the door, but of course, there was no one there. Wanting to get a cake, she called Tom on her phone.

Tom and Sabine were still at the restaurant at the Le Grand Paris, and their main course had just arrived.

"Bon appetite," said Butler Jean.

"It's Mrs Chamack," Tom said to his wife as he answered it. "Hello?"

"Hi, I'm in front of the bakery," said Mrs Chamack.

"Yes, I…"

"But it's closed! And I really need that cake now!"

"I know you need your cake right away," said Tom. "Uh, my daughter's home; she must be upstairs. I'll phone her immediately."

He then started to call Marinette.

Scene: The Trocadéro.

Marinette and Toby had caught up with Alix and attempted to cheer her up.

"Maybe we could fix it?" Marinette offered.

"This watch was sick! One of a kind! It can't be fixed!" said Alix furiously.

"Calm down, Alice," said Toby, "There's nothing broken that can't be repaired. There's more than one way to get it back to the way it was."

Alix turned on them furiously. "Like how, huh? Go back in time and change the future? When you guys figure out how to do that, lemme know!"

She then skated away, but before Marinette could do anything, her phone rang, and it was her father.

"Uh-oh, this can't be good," she said, answering it. "Hello, Dad…"

Then the Akuma Hawk Moth had released flew past her with Toby noticing and infected Alix's roller skates.

"Timebreaker. I am Hawk Moth," he said telepathically. "I'm granting you the power to retaliate against the people who've wronged you and to go back in time to restore the future. But you must do me a favour in return when the time is right."

Alix then began to transform and now wore a black helmet with red spiked edges on the back and two green eye shields over each eye. She wore a nearly black leather suit with a red hourglass symbol on her chest and lime green patches around her waist, lower hips and upper legs, and below her knees.

"You got it, Hawk Moth," she said.

Marinette was still talking to her father and didn't notice Toby running away.

"Mrs Chamack is outside waiting to take her cake," said her father.

"Uhh…" She then saw Timebreaker skating past. "I…I gotta go, Dad. Can't keep Ms Chamack waiting!"

Tom looked at his wife. "She was listening to music."

Timebreaker skated around the corner and began heading straight toward the students.

"Run!" Adrien yelled.

Kim tried to escape Timebreaker, but she was too fast and touched him. He then suddenly stopped in his tracks and began slowly fading away.

"Stop, Alix!" Marinette pleaded. "What are you doing?!"

"The name's Timebreaker now," said Timebreaker. "And I'm gonna go back in time and save my watch, using all you punks to do it!"

"Go back in time?" Marinette frowned and saw Kim fading away. "What did you do to Kim? Why is he fading?"

"I needed his energy," she explained. "Besides, the dude was a pain anyway with all those bets. He deserves to disappear forever. And so do you!"

She began skating towards Marinette only to be knocked back by a flying kick courtesy of Sky Falcon.

"Run, kid. I'll deal with XLR8," said the raptor as he engaged with Timebreaker in a fast paced combat while Marinette used the opportunity to hide.

Marinette then quickly looked down at Tikki. "We gotta transform, now! Tikki! Spots on! Yeah!"

Marinette then began transforming into Ladybug.

Sky was busy evading and dodging Timebreaker's attacks, as anyone would see it, it was almost like they were dancing around each other. They then separated a good distance apart.

"It's over, Timebreaker!" yelled Sky, "I have the high ground!"

The speedy villain glared at him through her visor, "You underestimate my power!"

"Don't try it!"

Just as she made a dash towards him, Ladybug struck her with her yo-yo, causing her to fall.

"Time out, Timebreaker!" she said.

"Please, help me up; I messed up, please, please!" said Timebreaker, offering her hand to Rose who was at the bottom of the staircase.

Rose, being extremely kindhearted, went over to help her.

"Noooo!" Ladybug cried.

"Wait!" Sky yelled.

Fortunately, Rose was hit from behind by an arrow that clamped onto her and pulled her away into the arms of the newly arrived Gray Wolf much to Timebreaker's chagrin.

"Go. Get to safety," the lupine said to Rose who ran ASAP.

With a growl, Timebreaker races off with the M-Team in pursuit.

"So what's she trying to achieve here?" asked Gray Wolf.

"Quick summary: Speed demon wants to absorb a lot of people so she can go back in time to kill Hitler."

"And we've got to destroy her Akuma before everyone disappears for good!" said Ladybug.

Behind a tree Adrien was reaching into his jacket, "Time to transform! Plagg! Claws out!"

He then began to transform into Cat Noir.

Mylène was running away from Timebreaker, but she tripped, and Timebreaker stole Mylène's energy

"One minute," said Timebreaker, looking at her time meter. She then looked at Ladybug and Sprite as they landed in front of her. "You M-Team won't be able to stop me where I'm going!"

She then felt something tap on her shoulder, and when she turned her head, she saw Cat Noir retracting his staff.

"Let me guess. We're all playing a game of tag, and you're it?" he said.

"Exactly!" Timebreaker smirked as she dashed towards him.

"Don't let her touch you!" Ladybug warned.

Cat Noir quickly dodged Timebreaker. "Missed me! Just a second too late."

Timebreaker skidded to a halt and then saw Alya recording everything, who then quickly ran away. Smiling, she chased after her, and within seconds, she managed to touch and steal her energy.

"Nooo!" Ladybug cried.

The M-Team immediately began chasing after her, but it wasn't easy as she proved to be very elusive.

"Well, she wastes no time, does she?" said Cat Noir.

"And the more people she freezes, the more minutes she gets to go farther back in time!" Ladybug added. "Those poor kids frozen in time… They're goners if we don't get that Akuma!"

Ivan attempted to hide behind a bush which was far smaller than he was, allowing Timebreaker to steal his energy.

"Ahhh!" Ivan screamed as she was inches away from touching him.

Ladybug quickly swung her yo-yo, wrapping around her wrist. "Keep your hands to yourself!"

Timebreaker snickered and then pulled Ladybug in towards her.

"Now, Timebreaker! Grab her Miraculous! Her earrings!" Hawk Moth commanded.

Timebreaker reached out to grab her, and there was no way she would be able to jump away in time. However, Cat Noir jumped in, shielding her, and Timebreaker stole his energy.

"Cat Noir! Noooo!" Ladybug screamed, briefly hugging him as he began to fade away.

"Oh, wow, six minutes in one go!" Timebreaker smiled, looking at her time meter. "Must have been those nine lives. Gotta go! The past is waiting."

"Timebreaker! The Miraculous! Take Cat Noir's ring before he disappears!" Hawk Moth yelled.

Timebreaker was about to do just that, but Ladybug blocked her path.

"Go ahead and try!" challenged a very angry Ladybug.

"You're just about to be in a world of hurt," sneered Gray Wolf.

Timebreaker charged at them, only for Sky Falcon to grab her and then slam her to the ground, Ladybug then grabbed her arm, spun her around and then threw her towards Gray Wolf who dealt a powerful kick that sent her back, stumbling in pain.

Timebreaker could feel Hawk Moth's anger as Cat Noir was seconds away from vanishing completely.

"Chill out, Hawk Moth. I have a sick plan!" said Timebreker.

She then spun around and skated away.

"I don't think so!" said Ladybug and swung her yo-yo, wrapping it around Timebreaker.

Unfortunately, Timebreaker was too strong, and Ladybug was dragged along as they made their way up the steps. At the same time Sky Falcon flew to grab hold of the speedster, Timebreaker's rollerblades began to light up with green lightning, and seconds later, they vanished before Gray Wolf could shoot an arrow.

"NOOO!!!"

Scene: Trocadéro. (Past).

Seconds later, they were back at the Trocadéro, and Timebreaker skidded to a halt. Ladybug then found herself being flung across but was caught by Sky Falcon at the last second.

"Wh-What… just happened?" Ladybug blinked as Sky dropped her.

She then looked over the edge and saw herself and everyone else cheering as Alix and Kim raced around the fountain. Then, it quickly dawned on her that they had returned to at least 10 minutes.

"Something tells me we just pulled a Marty McFly and ended up 10 minutes in the past," Sky Falcon deduced.

It was then that they saw Chloé taking Alix's watch from Adrian.

"Whatcha got there?" Chloé asked.

"Careful, it's Alix's!" Adrien warned.

"What is this? Some super old case or something? If it's Alix's, it's probably worthless."

"Give it back to Adrien, Chloé," said Marinette.

"My watch!" Timebreaker yelled angrily and then jumped down.

"Chloé! Put the watch down!" Ladybug yelled.

Everyone spun around and saw Timebreaker somersaulting down towards them. Chloé certainly did drop the watch but on the ground, causing it to break.

"NOOOO!" Timerbreaker yelled.

The past Alix stopped during the commotion.

"M-Team! This time, it's your fault!" Timebreaker yelled, pointing an accusing finger up at Ladybug and Sky Falcon, "I need more energy. I gotta go further back in time!"

Past Alix then pushed past the crowd and saw her broken watch on the ground.

"Ladybug…! It's all Ladybug's fault!" Alix yelled furiously.

Scene: Hawk Moth's Lair.

Hawk Moth not only sensed Alix's frustration but also sensed Timebreaker.

"Could this be possible?" he said as he opened his window. "Do I see double vision in my future? Or should I say, double villain?" He then turned a butterfly into an Akuma, allowing it to flutter away. "Fly away, my devilish akuma, then join this troubled soul!"

Scene: Trocadéro. (Past)

"Everyone, get out of here! Don't let her touch you!" Ladybug yelled at the crowd as past Alix cried over her broken watch, and then the Akuma touched her rollerblades.

"Time to transform," said Camilla to Luupa.

Sky Falcon was just about to take to the skies when his past self approached him.

"Who the heck are you?" he asked.

"Look, this is gonna sound Terminator-level crazy, but I'm you from just a few minutes in the future," Sky Falcon explained.

Toby skeptically narrowed his eyes, unsure of whether to believe him or not.

"Bro, he's not lying! I can feel the same energy! He's definitely you from the future!" said Breeze from his hood.

"Damn!"

"I know, right?" agreed his future counterpart.

Meanwhile, Ladybug was having a similar conversation with her past counterpart.

"Listen. I know it seems unbelievable, but trust me, I mean, trust… yourself?" said Ladybug, grasping Marinette's shoulders. "Oh, and Dad's gonna call me! I mean, you, in two minutes! He won't be happy because Miss Chamack is waiting for you outside the bakery door!"

Marinette stared at her blankly. "The cake… But I, I still have…

"Time?" Ladybug finished. "That's what I thought too. Miss Chamack will be early. Just leave now and make sure to take care of the cake. Don't worry, Ladybug can handle this single-handed." Marinette nodded and then dashed off towards the bakery. "How did I get myself into these crazy situations?"

The two Timebreakers meet each other, and the Timebreaker from the future helped her past self onto her feet.

Moments later, both Cat Noir and Gray Wolf arrived.

"Guys, I can't explain now, but we've got to capture Timebreaker's Akuma!" said Ladybug, looking at the two of them. "Cat Noir's life depends on it!"

"Which life? I've got nine," Cat Noir joked.

Ladybug looked at him seriously. "I'm serious! The akuma is in her rollerblades. We gotta release it!"

They then jumped down and landed in front of the two Timebreakers.

"Am I seeing double all of a sudden?" Cat Noir stared.

"If I were you, I'd chalk it up to some time travel shit," said Sky Falcon.

"The energy from these four will be enough for both of us to go farther back in time!" said Timebreaker 1

"Heh, I want my watch back! Let's do it!" said Timebreaker 2.

"Whatever you do, don't let either of them touch you!" Ladybug warned Cat Noir and Gray Wolf, "M-Team! Let's do this!"

"Get the Miraculous, Timebreaker!" Hawk Moth commanded.

They then charged one another and began fighting four against two with one Timebreaker each against two heroes. Eventually, they were able to overpower them.

"If we were faster, those bozos would be no match for us," said Timebreaker 1.

"Then let's stock up on more energy first. Then, we'll destroy them!" said Timebreaker 2.

The Timebreakers then skated away, and the M-Team started to chase after them. As they skated around, they touched anyone they came to, stealing their energy.

Scene: Unknown.

Now, let's go way back to the very second that Ladybug, Sky Falcon and Timebreaker appeared In this past.

At the same time that happened, this one strangely took place.

In someone else's point of view,

There was nothing.

One thing they felt was a sense of emptiness and void around them.

The next thing,

They felt their feet touch the ground.

And then they opened their eyes to an advanced HUD that filled their vision as they found themselves in a very familiar room…

… belonging to the one known as Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

"Test complete, doc!" spoke a female AI, "You did it! You've finally achieved Time travel with no side effects whatsoever!"

As they looked around, they brought their hands to their view, revealing navy blue and white metal gauntlets which were clenched before looking down to view their metal boots.

"Well at least , I didn't turn into a baby this time," the person finally spoke in relief, revealing their gender to be feminine, "Cottontail, How's the suit holding up?"

"The suit appears to be intact, no anomalies detected. You've successfully landed in the designated time period," replied Cottontail, the AI.

"So, now what? Am I gonna stay here and wait or...?"

The AI responded with efficiency, "You're free to explore, but remember the temporal window is limited. So please do what you can before the others pull you back."

"Okay, I got it," she assured before walking around as her eyes landed on an open book which was Marinette's homework. She gave an "Hmph" before sitting down and grabbing a pen.

Scene: Bakery.

The trip back to the bakery was more or less like a joyride as Toby was seen racing through the streets while weaving through vehicles at full speed on his own bike with Marinette holding onto him for dear life.

He then turned around the corner to see Miss Chamack standing at the entrance with her phone as he skidded to a halt while Marinette disembarked, taking off her helmet.

"Oh, hold on. Here she comes now. It's fine, thanks," said Miss Chamack as Marinette caught her breath.

Tom smiled at his wife as he put his phone away. "It's all good."

Looking relieved, Sabine smiled.

Marinette quickly opened the bakery and gave Miss Chamack her cake.

"Sorry again for making you wait," she said as Miss Chamack left with her cake. She then closed the door and gave a sigh of relief. "Hahh…"

"Mission accomplished," said Tikki.

"You mean Mission number 1 accomplished, time for Mission number 2!" said Marinette, "TJ!"

Toby, who was caught in the act, had to retract his hand from retrieving a doughnut from a display case, "What? I'm hungry!"

Marinette shook her head, "Battle the akumas first, eat later. Tikki! Spots on! Yeah!"

Marinette then transformed into Ladybug.

"Breeze! Take Flight!"

Toby then transformed into Sky Falcon.

Later, the unknown individual in her point of view through her HUD vision was watching the two aforementioned heroes leave through the balcony as she stepped out from the closet she was hiding from and approached the balcony.

"I think it's time I figure out what this is about."

And with that, she sprinted forward and leapt high into the air from the balcony before landing on a roof before continuing to leap from building to building after the heroes.

Scene: Trocadéro.

The Timebreakers were still skating, and the M-Team were still chasing them. It was now a lot harder to keep them up as they had stolen a lot of energy, increasing their speed. However, eventually, they skidded to a halt and turned to face them.

"We've got enough speed," said Timebreaker 1. "Let's go hardcore on these heroes!

Timebreaker 2 nodded. "Once we get the energy from the moron team…"

"We'll have enough to go back in time together."

"And get our watch!"

They then skated straight towards them.

"I thought we were chasing them!" said Cat Noir.

The two Timebreakers skated towards them faster than they could respond.

"Sky Dive!"

A very fast blur with the same speed went between them and the Timebreakers, revealing the present-day Sky Falcon who clotheslined both of them hard, emitting a small shockwave from the impact.

They then looked up at the steps, they saw the present-day Ladybug looking down at them.

"Hey, you two! Need a hand?" she asked.

Ladybug 1 smiled. "Thanks!"

Cat Noir and Gray Wolf who were understandably confusedly looked between them and then at one another.

Meanwhile, the armored person had arrived and found a place to hide as she then observed.

Ladybug 2 then jumped down to join them. "They're insane on their rollerblades."

Ladybug 1 nodded. "And unstoppable on the ground!"

"So, what if they were not on the ground?"

Cat Noir looked at the two of them and grinned, clapping his hands together. "Two Ladybugs? I'm in heaven!"

Meanwhile, Gray Wolf didn't share the same sentiment seeing two Sky Falcons.

"Oh hell no, I've been dealing with one of you since before we were born and it's a pain. Two is pushing it!" She groused glaring at the both of them.

"Change of plan," said Timebreaker 1. "We gotta go back in time now. There'll be less of them!"

"I'm down," said Timebreaker 2.

"Don't fail me this time!" Hawk Moth warned.

The Timebreakers then began to skate away.

"They're planning to go back in time again." Both Ladybugs said at the same time before tossing their yo-yos into the air, "Lucky Charm!"

Then appearing out of thin air was a red and black spotted bicycle lock and a traffic cone. The two of them looked at one another. "Any ideas?"

"While you two figure it out, I'll try to buy us some time," said Gray Wolf.

"It's about to get real!" both Sky Falcons said in unison before the rest of the M-Team dashed off.

Ladybug 1 began looking around and got an idea when she saw both of Sky Falcon's wingpacks.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" she asked, looking at her past self.

"Of course!" Ladybug 2 smiled before calling the two falcon themed heroes, "Sky, I need your help!"

Both Sky Falcons looked at each other and back at them before saying in unison, "Which one?"

"Both!"

Cat Noir had cut across the fountain to catch up with the Timebreakers, whose rollerblades were beginning to light up.

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir yelled, charging his hand with destructive energy. He then placed his hand against the stone pillar next to him, causing it to crumble and fall directly into the path of the Timebreakers.

This caused the Timebreakers to turn around and dash toward one of the Ladybugs.

"Let's freeze her on her way past!" said Timebreaker 1.

Ladybug then pulled out her bicycle lock and waited just the right moment. She then backflipped and tied the bicycle lock around the Timebreakers' legs. The Timebreakers now found it almost impossible to manoeuvre.

"Let's see if you broads still love speed," said Gray Wolf, "Alpha's Howl!"

The wolf themed heroine fired her sonic howl, propelling the Timebreakers towards a ramp the two Sky Falcons made using their wings.

"We're going too fast! We can't stop!" Timebreaker 2 yelled.

They were then launched into the air by the ramp, screaming.

"Now!" Ladybug 1 yelled.

The two of them swung her yo-yo, wrapping them around the Timebreaker's rollerblades. Then, with one good pull, they managed to pull them off their feet just as they hit the ground.

The Ladybugs caught the rollerblades and quickly broke apart against their needs, causing akumas to emerge.

"No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" they said in unison, swinging their yo-yos around and catching the akumas. "Gotcha!" They then released the now purified akumas and allowed them to flutter away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"

They then tossed their Lucky charms into the air, and the magical ladybugs began to repair all the damage and bring everyone back. They had also managed to fix Alix's broken watch.

In her HUD, a display popped up, indicating a time out that was beeping. She knew full well what it meant it was time to return to her own time

And with that, she allowed herself to be engulfed in a blue energy as her vision was filled with void.

And just like that, Vanished.

The M-Team ran as they gathered together.

"Pound it!" they said as they fist-bumped one another.

Then the magical ladybugs then made the two Ladybugs and the two Sky Falcons into one respectively. They then did the same to the Timebreakers, turning them back into just the one Alix.

"Huh?" said Alix, confused as Ladybug approached her.

"Here. I think this is yours?" said Ladybug, handing her now fixed watch.

Alix's eyes lit up, and she immediately grabbed it. "Sweet! How did you fix it? Thank you! I should never have given it to someone else to look after. It was my responsibility. My bad."

"Responsibility isn't something to be taken lightly. I should know."

"You're totally right," Alix nodded as she got to her feet. "I'll be more careful next time, for sure. Thanks, Ladybug."

She then skated away.

"I was just getting used to having two Ladybugs around," said Cat Noir, leaning towards her.

"But thankfully, I don't have to deal with two annoying idiots," said a cheerful Gray Wolf.

"Hey! I'm not that bad!" said Sky Falcon, offended.

"Okay, guys. Let's just split before we change back."

And with that, they split up.

Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.

"You slipped by me this time, M-Team. But one day, past, present, or future… you will be destroyed! And I'll have your Miraculouses! I will be UNSTOPPABLE!" Hawk Moth vowed.

He then laughed as his window began to close.

Scene: Bakery.

Marinette had returned home, and her parents had just returned from their anniversary dinner.

"Huh? Hey! So, did you have a nice anniversary?" Marinette asked.

"We sure did," said her father. "Although, it was a close call."

"Huh?" Marinette frowned and realised what he was getting at. "Oh, yeah! Hehehe. Miss Chamack. I'm so sorry that I kept her waiting.

"Next time, please wait for the customer in the bakery and not in your room, listening to your loud music!" said her mother.

"Got it. I promise I won't screw up next time," Marinette promised.

"Good, cause Mum's right. There's only one Marinette, and we're counting on her," her father winked.

Marinette then ran up to her parents, and they all shared a big hug.

*Dusts off keyboard* Well, well, well... Look who finally decided to show up again. Yes, it's me, your long-lost author, back from the abyss of procrastination, life, and a ridiculous amount of coffee. It's been almost a year, and I'm sure some of you were starting to wonder if I had been snapped away by Thanos or got lost in the Miraculous multiverse. (Spoiler: I wasn't. I'm just really, really bad at sticking to schedules.)

First of all, I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who stuck around, sent me messages, or left comments during my extended hiatus. Your support means the world to me and has been the push I needed to dive back into this story.

So, what have I been up to, you ask? Well, between battling writer's block, tackling some real-life quests (think of it as a very boring RPG where the main boss is "adulting"), and catching up on the latest seasons of Miraculous Ladybug (because research, right?), I've finally managed to sit down and type out this new chapter. Yay!

Now, I know it's been forever, and some of you might be wondering, "What happened in the last chapter again?" Don't worry; you're not alone. I had to reread my own story just to remember where we left off! But I promise I'm back, and I have a plan (sort of). I'll do my best not to leave you hanging for another year.

To all my new readers who somehow found this fic while I was MIA—welcome to the madness! And to my returning readers—thank you for your patience. I hope this chapter makes up for the wait.

As always, drop a comment, send me your thoughts, or just scream into the void. I'm listening. See you next time!

PEACE!
