The author's room is cluttered with half-empty coffee cups, energy drinks, and stacks of notes covered in frantic scribbles. Suddenly, there's a crash as RoboCop bursts through the wall, debris flying everywhere. The author leaps up from the chair, startled.
Author: (gasping) Whoa! You could've used the door, you know!
RoboCop: (in his deep, robotic voice) Buddy. You have violated the laws of consistent updating. You are under arrest.
Author: (laughs nervously) Okay, okay, I know it took a few days to get this chapter up, but I swear I'm doing better! I've been writing, like, nonstop.
RoboCop: (slowly approaches) Insufficient. Your readers demand justice. You will upload regularly, or there will be consequences.
Author: (gulps) Consequences? What, like being "Robocop-ed"? (mimics robotic movements) "You have 20 seconds to comply."
RoboCop: (pauses) Did you just reference "RoboCop" in front of RoboCop?
Author: (awkward grin) Too meta? Sorry, couldn't resist. But look, I promise—no more long breaks between chapters! The action is back on track. I've even included some new twists and maybe a few nods to your, uh, law-abiding ways.
RoboCop: (considers this for a moment) Acceptable. But remember, I will be watching. (turns slowly, ready to leave)
Author: relieved Oh, good. And, uh, RoboCop? Next time, maybe just knock? It's a rental, and I'd rather not explain why there's a robot-shaped hole in my wall.
RoboCop gives a slight nod and then, with a whir of servos, marches through the wall again, leaving another gaping hole. The author sighs and looks at the readers.

Scene: Tom Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie.
It was Career Day at school, and Sabine was brushing Tom down for his presentation.
"Ready, papa?" Marinette smiled.
"As much as I'll ever be," said her father.
Then, the two of them left the house.
"Happy Career Day, my darlings!" Sabine called.
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont.
About an hour later, Tom explained his job to the class.
"My day begins at 4 a.m. every morning because the bakery opens at 7," he explained. "You think that the life of a baker is pretty routine, making the same pastries, rolls, cakes… but actually, it's different every day. One day, someone might order a cake in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, and another day, you might—"
Scene: Outside the classroom.
Adrien was outside calling his father, hoping he would show up for Career Day, but only got his voicemail.
"You've reached the voicemail of Gabriel Agreste's office. Please leave a message," said a recording of Gabriel.
"Hi, father, it's me," said Adrian tiredly. "It's Parent's Career Day at school, remember? I was hoping that you were gonna show up. Call me back."
"You okay?" Plagg asked.
"Yeah, whatever. Nothing new," he said, disappointed, before returning to class.
Tom had just finished explaining, and everyone clapped as Adrian sat back in his seat. Nino immediately knew that Adrien's father had let him down again and tried to comfort him.
"Marinette will come around and pass out some croissants baked fresh this morning," said Tom, gesturing to his daughter, who was holding a tray of croissants.
"Thank you, Mr Dupain," said Miss Bustier. "Now, let's meet Alya's mum, the head chef at the Grand Paris Hotel, owned by our mayor, Mr Bourgeois."
Alya and her mother began making their way to the front when Marinette passed Adrien, noting how sad he was. Chloé, as per usual, wasn't paying attention and was more focused on her brand-new bracelet.
"It's beautiful!" said Sabrina, grabbing it.
Chloé then promptly slapped her hand away. "Look, don't touch!"
Mayor Bourgeois frowned disapprovingly. " Put it away, Chloé! It could get into the wrong hands!"
As Marinette gave Sabrina a croissant, Chloé put her bracelet back into its case and looked at her smugly. "I wonder how many croissants your dad would have to sell to buy you one of these? What am I saying? He'd have to sell the whole store!"
Marinette narrowed her eyes. "Well, if you're so rich, obviously, you don't need free croissants!"
"Ugh, jealous," Chloé muttered as she returned her bracelet case to her bag.
Plagg noticed this from Adrian's bag. "Is that Camembert?" He then promptly flew over towards Chloé's bag, but upon opening the case, he only discovered the bracelet. "Huh? Oh, that's not Camembert… But it is very shiny. I like shiny, hmm!"
"Unfortunately, I have no dishes to share," said Alya's mother regretfully. "But maybe Mr Bourgeois will invite you all to the hotel and treat you to lunch!"
The students immediately clapped, and Officer Roger laughed.
Plagg was playing around with the bracelet, joyfully tossing it up into the air. Until he accidentally knocked the bag over, and Marinette tripped over the case, causing her to topple over with the tray of croissants.
All the students gasped as they looked over their desks.
Chloé sneered at her. "Geez, is there a day when you're not tripping over something?"
"Next on the list is Sabrina's father, a policeman. Officer Roger!" said Miss Bustier, and the students clapped as Sabrina and her father made their way to the front.
"I've been a police officer for 15 years, and I firmly believe that every citizen is innocent until proven guilty," said Officer Roger proudly.
"My bracelet!" Chloé screamed. "It's gone! I had it a second ago." She then suddenly turned towards Marinette with an accusing look. "You! You stole it!"
"What? What are you talking about?!" said Marinette, perplexed.
"You unpurposedly tripped on my bag so you could steal my bracelet!" She then immediately turned to Officer Roger. "You're a policeman! Arrest her!"
"My daughter is not a thief!" Tom yelled angrily.
Officer Roger then blew his whistle, earning everyone's attention. "Hold on a minute, Miss Bourgeois, we don't accuse without proof! Now, everyone, calm down, please. Maybe you simply misplaced your bracelet."
"You're calling me a liar?!" said Chloé, looking hurt, and immediately turned to her father. "Daddy!"
"Roger, I demand you search this girl!" Mayor Bourgeois demanded.
Chloé smiled triumphantly.
"Please, everybody!" said Miss Bustier calmly.
Mayor Bourgeois approached Officer Roger angrily. "Need I remind you that as mayor of this city, I am your superior!"
"But, sir, it's against the law! I can't just go—"
"All right. Then you're no longer a police officer!"
Officer Roger looked at him, horrified. "Mayor, you can't be serious! Over a missing bracelet?"
"This is my daughter's bracelet we're talking about! You're incompetent, and you're fired! Get out!"
Officer Roger then left the classroom, looking immensely upset.
"Good! Let's call the M-Team! I'm sure they'll actually do something!" said Chloé.
Sitting in the back next to her children, Edna glanced at them before getting up in hopes of diffusing the situation.
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth opened the window at his lair as he sensed a new powerful negative emotion had just emerged.
"Parent-child relationships can be so complicated," he smiled. "And the perfect breeding ground for stress. When there's no more law and order, there's only chaos left." He then turned a butterfly into an akuma and released it. "Fly away, my evil little akuma, and take control of this policeman!"
Scene: The street.
The Akuma began flying over towards Officer Roger, who was currently inside his police car, looking rather furious.
"He expects me to break the law? That's just, just… criminal!" he said, and the Akuma flew into the open window and entered inside his whistle.
"Rogercop, I am Hawk Moth. This city needs a true ruthless righter of wrongs, and that is where you come in," Hawk Moth promised.
"Yes, sir!" said Roger.
He then began to transform and soon became a muscular man covered in blue armour, with an advising helmet that covered everything apart from his mouth. His whistle hung around his neck, and his shoulders flashed like police lights. His car had also started to transform into it was a futuristic hovercar.
"The M-Team must be destroyed if you want to attain ultimate retribution!" Hawk Moth explained. "You will seize Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses for me! Do we have an agreement?"
"Affirmative," said Rogercop in a robotic voice. "The M-Team will be powerless against me, and justice will prevail in the streets of Paris."
Scene: College.
Both Mr. Dupain and the Mayor were arguing.
"Don't even think about getting near my daughter or her bag!" Tom threatened.
"Do you know who I am?" Mayor Bourgeois glared.
Miss Bustier attempted to calm the situation and approached the two of them. "Please, gentlemen! This is a school here! Think of the children! Surely the bracelet is around here someplace."
"It probably just rolled out of her bag or something!" Marinette offered.
"If I were her bracelet, I'd try and get as far away as possible from that crazy brat, too," Alya whispered, causing Marinette to laugh.
"Let's all calm down and think for a moment," said Edna, "Because bickering like little children isn't helping anyone."
"Okay then, director!" said the Mayor, "I demand you find my daughter's bracelet or you're fired as well!"
"Oh, he did not just say that," whispered Camilla under her breath while Toby shook his head, both knowing by now where it would go next.
"Now let me be very clear with you," said the director coldly while taking off her glasses as she slowly walked towards the mayor to stand face to face with him with a death glare, "First of all, you do not tell me how to do my job. Second of all, you don't have the authority to fire me so if you wanna threaten someone, keep it to yourself."
The Mayor, taken aback by Edna's stern demeanor, stepped back with a hint of surprise and discomfort. The classroom fell into an uneasy silence as Edna continued, her tone unwavering before putting her glasses back on, "Now, let's find the bracelet without unnecessary drama. Accusations won't solve anything."
Miss Bustier, sensing the tension, tried to steer the situation back to a more neutral ground, "We can search the classroom together. Perhaps it fell somewhere we haven't checked."
"That's a very good possibility," agreed Edna as she spotted Nino, who had been filming everything with his phone. "Nino, have you been filming everything this whole time?"
"Uhhhh yes, ma'am."
"Then we can see what really happened!"
They watched the recording, and Nino fast-forwarded the video, cutting to the scene where Sabrina had the bracelet.
"Well, there you have it. Sabrina was the last person to hold Chloé's bracelet." said the agent.
"Yes! But I gave it back straight after!" said Sabrina quickly.
"Chloé, why don't you take a look in your BFF's bag?" Marinette suggested.
"Are you saying I'm a thief?!" Sabrina yelled indignantly.
"Nope! Chloé's the one calling people thieves without any proof. I'm simply going from what's on the video."
Sabrina growled angrily, accidentally knocking Nathaniel's sketchbook onto the floor. It was then that everyone saw a drawing of the bracelet, making everyone gasp.
Nathaniel picked up the papers and looked at everyone. "Yes, I did sketch the bracelet, but I didn't do anything else!"
Scene: Street.
Ms Mendeleiev had just thrown a piece of litter onto the floor just as Rogercop was waiting to cross the road. He then went and picked up the litter and flew over towards Ms Mendeleiev, landing right in front of her, much to her shock.
"You're under arrest!" Rogercop announced.
"What? What for?" Ms Mendeleiev asked.
"You threw litter on a public sidewalk, jaywalked and crossed the red light."
"Well, I suppose I did," Miss Mendeleiev admitted. "But you can't arrest me! Who are you anyway? You don't look like a policeman!"
She then promptly walked past him, but Rogercop fired a laser from one of his gauntlets. The moment it hit her, a ring of red and blue lights covered her wrists.
"I sentence you to trash duty," he said, blowing his whistle.
Then, the handcuffs around Miss Mendeleiev suddenly pulled her towards the nearest trash bin. They then forced her to grab litter and dump it in the said trash bin.
Rogercop then began making his way towards the school. "Next mission: Seeking justice on Mayor Bourgeois."
Back in the classroom, the situation of missing a bracelet was getting way out of hand.
Mayor Bourgeois extended his hand towards Nino. "Give me the tape! I'll have it analysed by professionals!"
"No way! It's my camera!" said Nino, pulling it away from him.
Mayor Bourgeois looked outraged. "Who do you think you're dealing with? I am the Mayor of this city! Where's the school principal? I want to see the principal!"
Plagg was rolling on the ground between Adrian's shoes, trying to get the bracelet off his head. When Adrien felt the movement between his feet, he looked down and stared down at Plagg, and he then quickly grabbed him and left the classroom unnoticed.
Plagg looked at him awkwardly. "I won't bother you with the story. It's a long, boring—"
Adrien looked at him rather mad. "Oh yes, you will explain it, and fast! You realise we have a big problem, don't you?"
"If by big, you are referring to my rock-hard abs? Well, thanks for noticing!"
Adrien then heard footsteps in the courtyard; he leaned over the railings and saw Rogercop marching into the school. "Now we have a bigger problem!"
The janitor noticed Rogercop entering school as he was cleaning the courtyard. "Hey! You can't just walk in here!"
"I can go wherever I want, whenever I want. I am the law," Rogercop announced.
"Well, I'm the authority around here—"
"You are guilty of obstructing the path of justice!" Rogercop then fired cuts at him just like he did with Miss Mendeleiev. "I sentence you to move around!"
He blew his whistle, forcing the janitor to run around the courtyard uncontrollably.
"Wait! I can't control my arm!" the janitor yelled. "What are you—"
Adrien quickly looked at Plagg. "What do you mean I can't transform?"
"If you transform, the bracelet will get absorbed with me and damage your powers!" Plagg warned him.
Adrien groaned irritably and then rushed towards the locker room with Plagg.
Hawk Moth was laughing in his lair. "It won't be long before the M-Team show up to meet their doom!"
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont.
Marinette and her classmates were still talking about Chloé's missing bracelet while Mayor Bourgeois went to the principal's office.
"See?" said Marinette to Director Jaiye, "I tripped on the bag, but Sabrina held the bracelet; Nathaniel sketched it; we are all suspects!"
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean? I didn't swipe her bracelet!" said Nathaniel indignantly.
"And neither did I! But when it comes down to it, Chloé can accuse anyone and everyone!"
"Fine! Since you're a suspect, you'll have no problem letting me search your bag!" said Chloé.
"Okay! As long as you also search everyone else's too!"
"No one's searching my bag!" said Nathaniel firmly.
"Marinette, let the adults handle this," said her father.
"Papa, she called me a thief! I'm just defending myself," Marinette pointed out.
"You're also accusing all of your friends like Chloé's doing to you!"
"I'm Chloé's BFF! I wouldn't steal from her!" Sabrina snapped.
"Everyone, quiet down," said Edna as she took notice of something, "Since we've been talking about the suspects in class, have we bothered talking about the suspects not in class right now? For example, Adrien?"
Max spoke up, "Fair point, He was in at least four and a half seconds of that video!"
"Then we haven't seen him since!" said Kim, noting Adrian's absence.
"Oh, not Adrien! I mean, why would he need to steal a bracelet?" Marinette asked. "If anyone's guilty, it's gotta be one of us."
"Now that's biased of you," said Edna to Marinette, "You're willing to accuse your friends but not Adrien. Why would you believe him to be innocent?"
Marinette paused, realizing the validity in Edna's question. She took a deep breath before responding, "I guess... It's just hard to imagine Adrien stealing anything. He's always been kind and respectful."
"It's important not to let personal biases cloud our judgment," said Edna as she walked to face the class, "Right now, everyone in this room is a suspect until proven otherwise."
Before any protest was made, Rogercop then suddenly burst into the classroom. "Where is the Mayor?"
Sabrina stared at him. "Dad?!"
"So that's her dad?!" Marinette gasped.
"Hello, may I help you?" Miss Bustier asked nervously, and Marinette and the twins secretly snuck out of the classroom.
"Where is the Mayor?" Rogercop demanded.
"I think he already left, sir!"
"Are you lying?" Rogercop questioned.
"Yes. I mean, no!" said Miss Bustier frantically.
"If no one speaks up, I'll put you all under arrest!" Rogercop warned and then turned to Chloé. "Where is your father?"
"I don't know!" said Chloé.
"Mr Principal, I demand that you find who stole my daughter's bracelet ASAP!" Mayor Bourgeois's voice roared from within the principal's office. "Or your job is on the line, sir!"
Marinette and Camilla managed to make a way to the girl's toilet as their Kwamis flew out. "I was only trying to defend myself! My dad's right. I ended up accusing everyone in the process. Truth is, girls, I don't think any of us took it."
"I'm sure you'll find a way to make it right!" said Tikki positively.
"Yeah, well, right now, we gotta transform! Tikki! Spots on! Ha!"
Marinette then began to transform into Ladybug with a nervous look on her face.
"Luupa! It's Full Moon!"
Camilla then began to transform into Gray Wolf.
Scene: Locker room.
Toby had entered the locker room as Breeze, flew out of his jacket only for both of them to see Adrien trying to remove the bracelet from Plagg's head. Plagg currently had his tail wrapped around a metal post while Adrian tugged with all his strength on the bracelet.
Unfortunately, it wouldn't budge, and Plagg's tail unravelled, causing the two of them to fall over.
"Is that...?" said Toby, looking at the bracelet.
"I thought it was a Camembert box! Anyone can make a mistake!" Plagg moaned.
"Well not me," said Breeze.
"You're always thinking with your stomach!" Adrian grumbled, and then an idea popped into his head. "Wait… hmm." He pulled out a piece of Camembert and sprinkled some pepper on it. "A bit of pepper…"
He then presented the pepper-covered Camembert to Plagg, who sniffed it.
"Ah, ah, Ah-CHOO!" Plagg sneezed, flew straight to the bracelet, and landed next to Adrien.
"Gesundheit!" Adrian smiled.
"Do I need to know why you have pepper in your bag," asked Toby.
"No comment," Adrien answered and then held out his ring. "Plagg! Claws out!"
"Breeze! Take Flight!"
Both Adrien and Toby began to transform into Cat Noir and Sky Falcon respectively.
Scene: Mr. Damocles' office.
Meanwhile, Mayor Bourgeois was having a strict conversation with Principal Damocles about his daughter's missing bracelet in his office.
"I'm warning you! If you don't find my daughter's bracelet by this evening, I'll cut off all your city funds for the school. Understood?" Mayor Bourgeois threatened.
Principal Damocles immediately started to protest. "But sir, how am I supposed to—"
Before he could finish, Rogercop burst into the office.
"Didn't anyone ever teach you to knock before entering?" Mayor Bourgeois asked, looking annoyed.
Rogercop returned to Mayor Bourgeois with an emotionless look on his face. "Justice doesn't need an invitation. Mayor, you're under arrest for abuse of power."
Mayor Bourgeois gasped. "Look who's talking!"
Rogercop was about to fire some handcuffs at him when Ladybug's yo-yo wrapped around his wrist.
Rogercop turned his head to face. "Ladybug. Paris has a new righter of wrong. Your services are no longer required."
He then immediately spun around and fired his lasers, but Ladybug was able to dodge them. "I can't let you go around accusing everyone of any little wrongdoing!"
Rogercop continued to fire his lasers, but she jumped around and landed in the courtyard. He continued to fire his lasers down at her, but she was moving too fast, and he lost sight of her. The only person he could see in the courtyard was the janitor, still running around helplessly.
And unbeknownst to him, Gray Wolf was on the roof, hidden from view.
Chloé then emerged from the classroom, approaching him. "Mr Rogercop, I need your help."
Rogercop ignored and turned back towards Principal Damocles's offers, discovering that Mayor Bourgeois was making a run for it. He then suddenly took off to chase him down.
"Hey! Come back!" Chloé demanded.
Ladybug was currently hiding outside behind the main doors. She watched as Rogercop landed at the entrance and walked outside right past her. She then tossed her yo-yo, wrapping it around his wrist and tried to pull him back. Unfortunately, he was too strong and kept chasing after Mayor Bourgeois.
He was just about to fire when Cat Noir landed on his arm, causing him to misfire and hit his car. Mayor Bourgeois quickly climbed into his car and drove off, unaware that Rogercop actually placed a trace on it.
Rogercop then turned to face Cat Noir. "You are disturbing justice, Cat Noir. You are going to pay for this."
Cat Noir then pulled out his staff. "You can add bodily harm to the charges!"
Rogercop fired his lasers, but Cat Noir quickly dodged them and managed to get behind him. He climbed onto his back and tried to strike him with his staff. Sadly, Rogercop caught his staff and tossed them over to the trashcan, where Miss Mendeleiev was still picking up litter.
Before he could advance towards the feline, he was hit by an arrow which exploded, causing him to stagger back.
Ladybug then rushed to the scene, looking at Rogercop pleadingly as Sky Falcon landed beside her. "Listen! You're Sabrina's dad and a good cop! Don't let the evil person who gave you these powers make an evil cop out of you!"
"Don't listen to that liar!" said Hawk Moth, talking to Rogercop telepathically. "Take their Miraculouses! Their powers belong to me!"
"Justice must prevail in the streets of Paris!" Rogercop proclaimed.
"Okay, have it your way, Murphy," said Sky Falcon.
He fired his lasers at Ladybug, who was shielded by Sky Falcon. The insect themed heroine then jumped out of cover and slid down the steps as she then performed a flying kick, which Rogercop caught, spun her around, and tossed her back into the school courtyard.
Sky Falcon then charged in to deliver a punch, only for Rogercop to catch the fist and deliver his own punch, knocking Sky backwards into the air but he quickly deployed his wings and caught himself as he hovered. However, he had to drop down to avoid a laser blast fired at him by Rogercop who continued shooting at him as the bird of prey had to shield himself.
"The Mayor must pay for getting rid of his best police officer!" said Rogercop, snapping his fingers, and his police car rolled up to the sidewalk.
Chloé then came rushing down the stairs. "Mr Rogercop! I've got a serious problem! Worse than a bad hair day!"
"Come with me, and we'll talk about it," he said, entering his police car.
Chloé smiled. "Okay!"
Cat Noir shook his head and witnessed Chloé entering the police car. "Chloé, no!"
Too late, Rogercop drove off in pursuit of Mayor Bourgeois.
Rogercop continued to drive down the street when he heard a thud on his roof. Looking through his mirror, he saw Cat Noir had jumped onto the car. He pressed a button, and suddenly, his police car transformed into an aerial mode and flew up into the sky.
"What and how?!" Exclaimed Gray Wolf who was running along rooftops.
"Damn! Where can I get one of those?" said a starstruck Sky Falcon.
Ladybug's yo-yo then wrapped itself around the vehicle, and she quickly pulled herself onto it.
She then smiled at Cat Noir. "I bet you missed me."
The car spun around, and the two of them clung to it for dear life.
Chloé remained oblivious to everything around her as she focused more on her missing bracelet. "So! I know that Marinette girl is the one who stole my bracelet. She must be arrested!"
Rogercop saw in one of his side windows that the heroes were now climbing onto the car. He then suddenly hit the brakes, and Cat Noir was flung off. Fortunately, Ladybug was able to grab him with her yo-yo and pull him back onto the car. But unfortunately, Sky Falcon wasn't lucky as he flew past them and was far ahead.
Upon seeing the couple were still on his car, Rogercop activated his car's AutoPilot function.
"Auto Pilot engaged," said the computer.
He then unattached his seatbelt and began making his way outside.
Chloé now looked very annoyed. "Hello? Are you listening to me?"
Cat Noir smiled at Ladybug. "Thanks for the lasso, lassie."
Chloé looked a little distressed, considering no one was driving the car. "Hey! Where are you going? Who's going to drive this car?"
Cat Noir just smiled up at Rogercop. "Did I ever thank you for the lift?"
He quickly swung his staff, but Rogercop blocked it and punched him back. Then Ladybug jumped into action, but he blocked her attacks. He then did a small jump onto the car, causing it to spin, forcing the Ladybug and Cat Noir to run along with the car so they didn't fall.
Cat Noir noticed that Rogercop's magnetic boots allowed him to stay in place no matter how much the car spun. "Where'd you get those shoes? I could use a pair like that!"
Rogercop then brought his arms up. Cat Noir was able to duck just in time, but Ladybug wasn't as fortunate. Her face collided with his arm, causing her to fall off the car.
"Grab on to me!" Ladybug yelled, tossing her yo-yo at Cat Noir.
Cat Noir tried to grab it, but Rogercop grabbed him, pulling him back. It was then Sky flew over and dropped Gray on top of the vehicle as the latter engaged the police villain who released his grip on Cat Noir while the former dived after Ladybug.
Rogercop was able to hold his own against the two heroes as he caught Cat Noir's staff before Spartan kicking Gray Wolf, knocking her off the car. The lupine had quickly notched and fired an arrow at the exhaust pipe, causing an explosion knocking the occupants off balance, It also made Rogercop lose his grip on Cat Noir who began falling.
Cat Noir desperately tried to grab his staff. "Ugh! Unn, uh… nice day for a swim!"
He began moving his arms and legs as if he were swimming and managed to grab his staff, but when he looked down, he saw that he was seconds away from being a stain on the pavement. Then suddenly, he was snatched by the leg by Sky Falcon who flew safely to hover a few feet above the ground with Gray Wolf on his back.
But from how he was being held, Cat Noir was upside down as Ladybug approached them.
"Well, hey. I'm head over heels to see you, milady," said Cat Noir who then attempted to kiss her, but Sky Falcon released him, causing him to fall on his head.
"That's what you get, kitty," sassed Ladybug, holding her hand out to him while Sky Falcon landed with a chuckle.
Cat Noir smiled and grabbed it, "What can I say? I kinda got carried away."
"Literally," said Sky Falcon with a scoff, "You guys owe me one though."
Gray Wolf hopped off Sky Falcon's back, "In your dreams. I take credit for that."
They turned their heads and saw Rogercop's car was now losing altitude with a great deal of smoke coming from his exhaust.
Rogercop got back into his car and switched the control back to manual.
"Mayor's limousine. Located," said the computer.
Rogercop flew towards Mayor Bourgeois's location, flying right through the Eiffel Tower. The M-Team tried to catch up with him, but he was moving too fast.
"There's no point running after him anyway. He's way out of our reach now," said Ladybug as they landed on the Eiffel Tower.
"Well, if it's the Mayor he wants…" said Cat Noir.
"He'll be heading straight for the City Hall," Ladybug finished.
Gray Wolf smiled at Ladybug. "Do I sense a plan?"
Ladybug merely smiled.
Scene: City Hall.
Rogercop had arrived. "Let's go!"
He fired a laser at the door, cutting a car-shaped hole into it.
Inside, Mayor Bourgeois was assembling his police force
"Call up all available police forces ASAP! That's an order!" Mayor Bourgeois ordered on the phone.
He then heard screaming outside as people ran from the door, which now had a car-shaped hole. Rogercop then flew perfectly through the hole into City Hall. The car landed on the marble floor, and Mayor Bourgeois stepped out of his office, witnessing Rogercop exiting from the car.
"Bourgeois, I'm taking over. Relinquish your powers," he demanded.
"Never!" Rogercop then fired a pair of handcuffs at him. "These handcuffs won't change my mind."
"Then maybe this will," he said and blew his whistle.
"Hey!" Chloé protested as she was dragged out of the car, revealing that she, too, was now wearing handcuffs.
"Don't you dare put a finger on my little girl!" Mayor Bourgeois roared.
"So much for your powers! Ha! Haha haha! Ha!" Rogercop laughed in a robotic-like voice.
A few moments later, Mayor Bourgeois was sitting at his desk live on every single screen in Paris.
"Paris has a new superpower," he announced. "His name is Rogercop. I hereby relinquish all authority to Rogercop. All citizens are ordered to answer to him."
The M-Team arrived just in time to see the screen adjusting to Rogercop standing over Mayor Bourgeois.
"The M-Team are now outlaws," he announced. "They must be hunted out and taken into custody immediately."
The team looked at the police officers and CTU agents standing close by as they slowly began to surround them.
Then suddenly, the agents immediately brought out their stun guns and fired at the police officers.
"Run, M-Team!" yelled one of the agents as the officers returned fire.
The hero team didn't waste time and escaped as a shootout occurred.
Scene: City Hall at nighttime.
The M-Team were still hiding from the police.
"So now, we're the nation's most-wanted felons?" Cat Noir proclaimed.
"And we haven't done anything!" Ladybug moaned.
"Welcome to the life of vigilantism," said Gray Wolf, "Things like this tend to happen."
"You can't accuse someone without proof! We should go and defend ourselves in the Court of Law! I saved a judge once!"
"Not while Rogercop's the Chief of Justice."
Cat Noir sighed. "How many times have we saved Paris?"
"We never counted," said Ladybug, "We're still saving Paris."
"And we won't stop," said Gray, "So what now?"
"I think it's pretty clear what now," said Sky, "One of us will have to be the bait to take care of the cops, then the rest will sneak in, get the jump on RoboCop and destroy the object. Any detail I missed?"
"Nah, that sums it up right," said Cat Noir.
"Then we shouldn't waste time," said Ladybug, "M-Team! Let's do this!"
Sky Falcon was soon seen hovering in the air as he observed the large squadron of police officers surrounding the city hall.
Through his HUD, he ran a few calculations while pinpointing every officer and taking notes of the environment he can use to his advantage, strategically mapping out a clean and precise SkyDive route.
He then landed in front of City Hall with his wings still in the open, where all the police officers could see him. All the helicopter searchlights then shone down upon him as he held up a human skull while reciting a rather famous soliloquy:
"To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep-"
"Boo!" jeered one of the officers in the crowd.
Sky Falcon cleared his throat, "Excuse me! Acting. Thank you."
"You won't be acting after I'm through with you," said Rogercop from the screen. "Arrest him!"
The police officers then immediately charged at Sky Falcon who tossed the skull in his hand as he cracked his neck.
"Sky Dive!"
His wings immediately flared with energy as he dashed forward in a silver blur, plowing through the officers in the process.
Scene: Inside the City Hall.
Rogercop looked out the window in the Mayor's office, watching the police force scatter about only to be later decimated by an unseen blur. While he and his police force were distracted, the rest of the M-Team were able to sneak into City Hall, and Chloé noticed them making their way inside.
Ladybug quickly put her fingers to her lips, telling her to remain quiet.
"Go, M-Team, go!" Chloé cheered in a loud whisper.
Sadly, Rogercop heard her and, turning around, noticed Ladybug, who was looking rather exasperated at Chloé.
"Police'd to meet ya, Johnny Law," said Cat Noir with a mock salute.
"M-Team, is time for justice to prevail." said Rogercop, advancing towards them before firing his lasers at the M-Team. Cat Noir and Gray Wolf had begun blocking them with their weapons.
"You got justice and revenge all mixed up, Rogercop!" Ladybug said behind them, then tossed her yo-yo into the air. "Lucky Charm!" A single oven red mitt with black spots appeared out of thin air. "An oven mitt? What am I supposed to do with this?"
"LB, cover for me!" said Gray Wolf as both she and Ladybug switched places. The Wolf miraculous holder drew out an arrow and fired at Rogercop who caught the arrow, but failed to anticipate another arrow that hit him dead center and immediately stunned him temporarily with electricity running through him.
"Get them!" Rogercop commanded, blowing his whistle.
Suddenly, both Chloé and Mayor Bourgeois found themselves being dragged over towards the three heroes, who quickly pushed them outside.
"Hey! My hair! Chloé moaned as they closed the door, and Gray Wolf shot an arrow that transformed into a locking mechanism that spread across the door to prevent them from getting back in.
Rogercop then fired his laser, and they quickly hid behind a city model.
"Stop shooting like an idiot, Rogercop! You're supposed to seize their Miraculouses!" Hawk Moth roared impatiently.
"The Akuma must be in his whistle," Ladybug concluded. "We've gotta get to it!"
"How?" Cat Noir asked.
Scene: Outside the City Hall.
Sky Falcon still in his SkyDive state had just bashed the skull on the face of the unfortunate officer who was flipping through the air before landing painfully as the Falcon miraculous holder then skidded to a halt just at his initial starting point in front of the city hall before observing the defeated officers.
"Too bad. And I thought at least some would be big fans of Shakespeare," he turned to the already cracked skull, "But I bet you enjoyed breaking bones, right?"
The skull 'nodded' before Sky Falcon sighed.
Just then, a series of clicks were heard behind the 'both' of them as 'they' turned around to face a squad of police officers aiming their rifles at 'them'.
"Freeze! Put your hands up! You're under-AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"
Suddenly, the officer in the middle was shot from behind followed by the others as all of them were electrocuted, surprising Sky Falcon as the skull jaw dropped. They soon fell unconscious as standing behind them were CTU agents in tactical gear and standing in the middle was Edna who had just handed the rifle to a dark skinned agent who then proceeded to bark out,
"All right everyone! Let's fan out! Secure the area! And someone get these dudes medical attention immediately!"
He passed Sky Falcon, giving him a shoulder pat, "You're good, man."
As the agents spread out, Sky Falcon was moving the skull's jaws in a ventriloquist fashion while greeting Edna in a french accent, "Bonjour, director. It's a surprise seeing you here."
Edna crossed her arms and gave Sky Falcon an appraising look. "Impressive work, Sky Falcon. But you know, we're here to keep things under control, not create more chaos."
Sky Falcon smirked and shrugged nonchalantly. "Well, you know me, Director. I like to make an entrance."
Edna raised an eyebrow. "Entrance or not, we have a situation to handle. What's the status on the Akuma?"
He looked through a window, noticing Rogercop through his HUD, "The others are doing fine."
"Well?"
Quickly realizing what he was supposed to do, he chuckled in embarrassment, "I think that's my cue. Please hold this."
He handed the skull over to Edna as he once again activated his wings and flew straight through the window and dealt a surprised RoboCop knock off a powerful punch upon landing, giving the rest of the M-Team breathing space.
"Your move, creep," said Sky Falcon, drawing out his sword.
Rogercop fired lasers at Sky who shielded himself, allowing Gray to leap over her brother to fire multiple arrows at the robotic officer who had to dodge the assault.
While the twins were engaging Rogercop, Ladybug looked around, taking note of Rogercop's arms, a mitt and a belt, which gave her an idea. Ladybug quickly grabbed the belt and dashed towards the metal trolley and grabbed the oven mitt hanging on it, but she was still missing something.
"Okay, I have an idea, but I still need something like… a ring," she said.
Cat Noir quietly reached for his back pocket, pulled out Chloé's bracelet without them noticing, and rolled it across the floor.
"Ladybug, over there!" Cat Noir pointed.
"That's Chloé's bracelet!" Ladybug stared and smiled. "Exactly what I need." She then used her yo-yo to snag the bracelet and turned to Cat Noir. "Assist Sky and Gray!"
"Whenever you're ready," said Cat Noir before running to the others as he charged his ring with destructive energy, "Cataclysm!"
He slid on the ground behind Rogercop while trailing his hand, destroying a portion of the wooden floor just as Gray Wolf took in a deep breath.
"Alpha's Howl!" She released a super sonic howl, sending Rogercop flying backwards. Just as he was over the blackened floor, Sky Falcon leapt up and struck him with an axe kick, sending him crashing into the ground that crumbled under the force and his lower body fell through the floor.
He tried to pull himself out, but he was wedged in pretty tight, and Ladybug had just finished attaching the two mittens to the belt. She then jumped over the desk, and Rogercop fired at her, but she was able to avoid the lasers and placed the mittens over his hands. She then pulled on the belt, forcing Rogercop to put his hands together, and when he tried to activate his laser, they got stuck within the mittens. Ladybug then approached him and took his whistle without any issue.
"I gotcha!" she smiled and smashed the whistle, releasing the Akuma.
"Noooooo!" Rogercop roared.
"No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma. Time to de-evilize!" said Ladybug, opening her yo-yo and catching the akuma. "Gotcha!" She then released the purified butterfly into the air. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"
She then tossed her Lucky Charm into the Lucky Charm, and the magical ladybugs reverted everything back to normal, freeing everyone who had been placed in handcuffs. Rogercop then reverted back to normal as well.
Roger looked around, confused. "Uhh… what am I doing up here?"
The M-Team then bumped fists. "Pound it!"
"As Rogercop would say, 'Justice has prevailed in the streets of Paris!'" said Cat Noir in a robotic voice, and then he heard his Miraculous beeping. "I'd stick around, but then you'd see me without my mask and… you wouldn't be able to resist me."
"I'll have to take your word for it," Ladybug laughed, and Cat Noir ran off.
Ladybug then knelt down towards Chloé's bag and, with a small smile, placed the bracelet in the back.
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth, meanwhile, was frustrated. "You may have eluded me this time, M-Team, but one of these days, I'll be ruling the world! And none of you will be a part of it!"
Scene: City Hall.
Everyone, including Edna who had entered, assembled around Chloé's bag, which Roger had just handed her.
"I think this belongs to you, miss," he said
"My bag!" said Chloé, scrummaging through her back and then found her bracelet. "My bracelet! But… how?"
Mayor Bourgeois stared at Roger in amazement. "Roger! You found the bracelet?"
"Actually, it turns out it was in Chloé's bag all along!" said Roger. "Must've fallen into a side pocket when that girl tripped over it."
Ladybug laughed while Gray Wolf raised an eyebrow, amused.
"Well, Roger, I do apologise for being so accusatory and firing you for no good reason," said Mayor Bourgeois apologetically.
"I think Officer Roger has proven his excellence to you, Mr Mayor," said Ladybug. "You'd be wrong not to keep him on."
Mayor Bourgeois nodded. "Of course, Ladybug! You're absolutely right. And actually, it's Lieutenant Roger now."
Lieutenant Roger looked at him, stunned. "Thank you, Mr Mayor. I'm proud to be on the force, and I vow to uphold my firm belief that every citizen is innocent until proven guilty."
"That's very good of you, Roger," said Edna, "And I would think that Miss Bourgeois should apologize to Miss Dupain-Cheng."
"What?" said Chloé, looking away from her bracelet. "Why should I do that?"
With a smug grin, Gray Wolf brought out her bow and played a particular recording, "Help! I promise I'll be nice to everyone, say please and thank you all—AH!"
Ladybug couldn't help but grin widely in satisfaction at the reddened face of a flustered Chloé who groaned in embarrassment.
"I think we can all agree that a valuable lesson learned," said Mayor Bourgeois, narrowing his eyes at his daughter. "Right, Chloé?"
Chloé looked at him and groaned. "Ugh! Yes, Daddy."
Ladybug smiled. "Lesson learned!"
Both heroines leaped out of the window with Sky Falcon following after as he was later seen flying away with his teammates holding onto his arms when suddenly, Ladybug and Gray Wolf were briefly heard laughing.
Scene: Jaiye Manor.
Edna opened the door and entered. She was greeted by Connor who was pushing his dog bowl towards her.
Edna chuckled and bent down to pet him. "Hello, Connor. Hungry already, huh?"
Connor wagged his tail enthusiastically and barked.
"Alright, alright, let me get you some food," Edna said, walking towards the kitchen only to be met by Toby and Camilla who were coming from downstairs.
"Mom!" said Camilla with worry, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, just a bit shaken up. The akumatized villain was defeated and eventually, Chloe's bracelet was found."
"All that trouble over a simple piece of jewellery," said Toby, upset as he filled Connor's bowl with dog biscuits, "None of this would have happened if Chloe had not made a fuss about her bracelet!"
"We're sorry, mom," said Camilla, "You didn't even get to present at Career Day after all the preparation we did."
Edna smiled reassuringly at her children. "It's okay, Camilla. There will be other opportunities. The important thing is that everyone is safe."
"But it still feels unfair," Toby muttered, handing the filled bowl to Connor, who eagerly began eating.
Edna placed a comforting hand on Toby's shoulder. "Sometimes things don't go as planned, but we have to stay strong and adaptable. I'm proud of both of you for handling everything so well today."
Camilla nodded, though she still looked concerned. "Mom, you were so brave. We were worried about you."
Edna hugged both of her children. "I'm always careful, and knowing I have you two to come home to gives me all the strength I need. Now, how about we make some dinner together? I think we all deserve a nice family meal."
The next thing they didn't expect was another person to join the hug as a pair of buffed up arms were wrapped around all of them. They looked up to see Victor.
"Dad!" Toby and Camilla exclaimed in unison, their faces lighting up with joy.
"Hey, kiddos," Victor said with a warm smile. "Couldn't resist joining in on the family hug."
Edna looked up at him, surprised but happy. "Victor! You're home early!"
Victor nodded. "I managed to wrap things up sooner than expected. Heard about the akuma attack on my way back. Is everyone alright?"
"We're fine, Dad," Camilla assured him. "Mom handled everything like a pro."
Victor squeezed Edna's shoulder gently. "I never doubted it for a second."
Edna smiled. "We were just about to make some dinner. Care to join us, Colonel?"
Victor chuckled. "I wouldn't miss it for the world. Besides, I could use a good meal after the day I've had."
Toby grinned. "Great! We're making Mom's famous spaghetti."
"Sounds perfect," Victor said, guiding the family towards the kitchen. "Let's get cooking."
The family moved into the kitchen, ready to share stories and make a delicious meal together. Connor followed, his tail wagging, happy to have the whole family together again.
