Chapter 2: Chaos & Rebellion
Date: September 18th, 2024
So now, we have to figure out where to help out next from here since Ginga is intent on fighting against Doji. That's when we see Ryuk flying around cackling. I yell up to him: "What's so funny, Ryuk?!" "Haven't you heard?! The Death Note doesn't work on that human Katherine Glassgate! Light, L, Mello, and Near have all tried to kill her with it but nothing has happened!" Argo sighs: "What are we even supposed to do at this point? She's tougher than even we thought." That's when Dr. Eggman appears and says: "We have much bigger problems right now. Our forces are split into 2. Some fighting here and in Sonic's World and some fighting to protect the other worlds within our collective." Barla yells: "What the hell?! I thought the invasion plans were postponed!" I reply: "If the Empire is nearly a carbon copy of the US in many ways, this doesn't surprise me. They must have some brilliant military strategists and that's trouble for us. They have control of this world's intelligence and military forces for the most part, that we know for certain. So what exactly does that leave us with? Katherine must have announced that postponement to blindsight our side. But we were ready for something like that fake out. It's why we haven't gotten any word that any of the worlds the others are protecting have fallen to the fascists. This ain't a game. This is reality. Those in power want individuals like us to be easy to manipulate pawns on a chess board. But we have said NO and turned on them. But the enemy has formidable pieces on the chess board. It's like they have learned from every blunder made in the past several conflicts we've been in."
Jomi sighs: "What's more is that our enemy knows a lot about all of us. Not everything but enough to make this a lot more difficult to deal with. My powers as a Mu aren't working on all of our foes. They must have adapted the same technology developed by the Superior Dominance government and the United Human Fleet in my universe. That technology makes the powers of the Mu useless." Herbsalvin adds: "Things are still generally going well for us. They didn't expect us to act so quickly. But nay, we aren't nearly close to victory." Eggman speaks again: "Oh and there's one tiny problem. Half of the known villains on the enemy's side are engaging some of us here AND there's also the Metarex Fleet to worry about too!" That's when the Metarex land near us on their mothership. The Metarex are like plant supremacists as strange as that sounds. In the past, they sought to use the Chaos Emeralds and the very life force of countless planets known as Planet Eggs to commence something called Forestation. In such an operation, plant life would take over the universe and kill all animal life after sapping them all of their very energy. That was the mission sought by Dark Oak, the Metarex leader as well as his subordinates such as Red Pine and Yellow Zircova. What's worse is that they almost succeeded and it took Sonic and Shadow to go Super as well as a dear friend's sacrifice to end the Metarex and remove the darkness from their hearts so that they could pass on in peace. That means that Eggman and his robots as well as Amy, Tails, Chris, Knuckles, The Master Emerald, Cream, Cheese, and Rouge were unable to do much significant damage.
But they did work together to accelerate Sonic and Shadow through the Blue Typhoon ship's Sonic Power Cannon using the Master Emerald as well as Eggman's Egg Crimson ship's power in order to make their going Super that much more successful. For most of Sonic X, it was mostly Eggman and his schemes who were the problem. He even unleashed an angry creature called Chaos which later turned against him. Chaos was born to protect the Chaos Emeralds but hatred twisted him and in the middle of Station Square, he become a watery monster fueled by all 7 Chaos Emeralds. But Sonic still won through the hopes of his friends restoring the power of the emeralds, allowing him to go Super when he needed to. I think Shadow helped too but I can't recall. Eggman, Sonic, and friends were forced to return to Sonic's World before it and the world of Station Square fused into one where time stopped completely for eternity. They came to Station Square because Sonic destroyed one of Eggman's bases to try to take the emeralds from him. This caused Chaos Control, sending a chunk of Sonic's world to Station Square and areas around it. The emeralds scatter like the Dragon Balls do after coming together for Chaos Control to be used. Chris is Sonic's first human friend. He saved Sonic from drowning in his family's mansion's big swimming pool. They've been besties ever since and Chris later got himself to Sonic's World 6 years after Sonic and the others left his. That's when the Metarex conflict began for Sonic and friends. This is the summed up story of the 2 universes of Sonic X. Just in case you've never watched it or need a brief recap. It adds a lot of necessary context.
I raise my sword: "The Metarex are here. They were already formidable enough in Sonic's universe. A lot of time has passed since then even there so it's safe to say that if Frieza and the other villains are anything to go by, they're even tougher than they used to be in the past. That means we have to fight them immediately. I think the military forces have been stopped by now. Villains need to stop using large numbers of weak grunts. All it does is waste time and delay us for a short amount of time. But we can't expect that to change. Villains generally love weak pawns they can use as fodder to make sure they win in the end. In my world, modern military troops, especially of the US variety are a huge problem. If a tyrant sent them out on their citizens, millions would be slaughtered in days if not more. But to us here, they're almost nothing. Even an experienced military man would be one shot with my sword. Despite the fact that modern military troops go through some serious training. Two of my teachers in school are veterans, one of them showed us videos of military boot camp in class once. But enough about that." We all attack the Metarex. We as in Team Unpredictable. But our attacks do nothing. Dark Oak speaks: "You foolish organic life forms who are not plants. You cannot harm the Metarex so easily. It will take much more than that to stand a chance against our wrath." Suddenly, thousands of brown bug like Metarex robots appear and attack us.
Struggling to destroy just one of them, I yell: "Damn it! These things are as tough as those ice androids were! It feels like it's been over 2 years since we had to deal with those but it's actually much closer to a year and a couple of months! Crap, we don't stand a chance if this is how much I struggle against just one of them. The Metarex have always had plenty of these robots to spare." I am forced to use my best techniques to destroy any of them. I wipe out a bunch at once but more just keep coming. Yellow Zelkova speaks: "These fools are weaklings! Let's go get our revenge on Sonic and Dr. Eggman already! These little Metarex will take care of these fools for us!" Pale Bayleaf replies: "Normally, I find your rash desires to be foolish but in this case, you are correct. We will get our revenge against those who have stopped us before. With them gone, the rest will be unable to mount any kind of resistance against us especially thanks to the many new allies of ours that have shown up here. By working together, all of our goals will be accomplished. Just our universe will be enough for us to rule over so our interests as the Metarex don't clash with the interests of the others, not even Goku Black." And with that, they leave us all to die. Eggman screams as they pursue him: "I don't stand a chance! SONIC! SONIC!" We couldn't help him with all of these robots in the way. However.. Help for us arrived: "Bloom, Sunavalon Dryanome!" "Dark Mummy Surgical Forceps!" "Motorworm Spreader Queen!" "Topologic Bomber Dragon." The Hanoi arrive and attack with their monsters. Genome laughs: "Our monsters currently house a software crash virus! These Metarex robots don't stand a chance against a computer virus we Hanoi created!"
Revolver adds: "Katherine Glassgate and her allies still have managed to underestimate us all. We won't struggle as easily as we did just a month ago." Within seconds, all of the robots have been decimated. All of the many thousands of them. All of us then catch up to Eggman as well as Team Sonic who are having a hard time fighting the Metarex along with several other villains. One of them, Divine who has somehow come back once again laughs: "Now no one will deny the power of the Arcadia Movement! Soon, psychic duelists will be among those who reign supreme in this multiverse! When we're finished with all of you, Aki is mine. We have unfinished business. The same goes for Yusei Fudo." But before we could jump in to actually help, a bunch of individuals active in Station Square ambush Divine and a couple others from behind. It's Chris and his family's hired employees: Ella and Mr. Tanaka and Chris's grandpa Chuck. Chris yells: "Sorry we're late! We had to fight from the mansion all the way here!" They knock Divine unconscious like it was nothing. Ella looks menacing with her cooking utensils. She's attacked a lot of foes with them. She exclaims: "Who wants to be taught a lesson they can never forget?!" Yellow Zelkova laughs: "Weak little human woman, you are of no interest to me. Fighting you would be a waste of time especially when I'm packed with our own version of Dr. Eggman's patented illumashields!" Sonic says: "Why have we stopped fighting completely? We're supposed to be fighting, you know!" That's when more people show up including a guy in a race car. He runs over another villain but is forced to leave his car before Dark Oak destroys it.
"Damn it! My ride is toast!" Rouge sighs: "Does that man ever learn? He seems more like a spoiled child to me than a S Team hotshot." The guy, Sam Speed fumes: "What is that supposed to mean?!" Another man taps him: "Calm down, this isn't the time to be arguing amongst ourselves. *pulls out wrist communicator* This is chalkboard Charlie, calling homeroom. We have caught up with Sonic and friends and will be fighting alongside them shortly. Over. Homeroom. Come in, homeroom." Eggman sighs: "This moment is very awkward. I'll stop this moment from continuing! Villains, face my newest robot! E-2086! E-2086! Come forth and end this stalling at once!" A giant robot appears. It is as big as Mecha Godzilla was. It fires upon our foes relentlessly. Even they have trouble damaging it. Commander Blue of the Red Ribbon Army complains: "What is this?! How has my creator been so far surpassed?! This won't stop me! We will show you the true might of the Red Ribbon Army!" The fighting resumes and chaos ensues. I find myself guarding against the relentless attacks of Yellow Zelkova. Boecoe screams: "Ah! We're done for! This yellow guy is going to beat us all soon!" I reply: "Not yet! He is too tough even for my skills but.. If I can't hope to win or retreat, I must defend or stall! HAAAAAA! I will stand my ground!" I stab my sword into the concrete pavement below as Zelkova attacks me from the road over and over again. Using my sword and having jammed it into the concrete with a lot of force, I completely resist the knockback that's been attempted to be inflicted onto me. "Get out of the way! I have no interest in fighting you, human! You have already proven yourself to be far weak for me to have a good fight with!" "Oh really? Is that what you believe? Well, aren't you to one actively targeting me? Your actions don't lie up with your words in the slightest." "Stop talking! Your words annoy me!"
I just keep on resisting until he comes close to breaking my sword. After that happens, I remove my sword from the ground and take off at full running speed: "Try and catch me if you find me so annoying!" "GET BACK HERE!" "With the power of wind inside of me, I grant myself a speed increase of up to 50% higher than my maximum speed while wearing this armor!" I force Zelkova to chase me until he manages to hit me so hard that my lights are knocked out. I woke up sometime later with everything around me destroyed and my armor heavily damage with my own dried blood all over the place. I use Repair to fix my armor and get back up. I feel no pain so I didn't struggle much except for the fact that my muscles sort of resisted movement as I worked to stand back up. "So the fight has moved far from this area. I must have been out for a while. Damn it. How long has it been?" But then, I see a familiar face. They speak and offer their hand in case I need some physical support: "I have been waiting for you, Swift." "But why, Herbsalvin?" "I would believe it's obvious, is it not? In BRAINS, we leave no one behind." "You're right. Those are words I've said before myself. Okay, so what's going on now?" "Rebels from this world have joined with our comrades to force the enemy to retreat to Sonic's World but Nacirema still has left behind a large force to guard the ruins of the imperial palace and attempt to keep their control over this city. It is up to the likes of us to finish them off before we join the battle that has now moved to Sonic's World and beyond it. My dark knight, it is our duty as you already know." "I see. Okay. Let's do this, my pegasus knight." Together with the rest of us who ended up staying in this world for the time being, we clean up the remains of the enemy force.
We then send an update to the main BRAINS chat on our phones that reads: "Nacirema has lost control over Station Square and the rest of the world around the imperial palace's remains." We then teleport to Sonic's World or would have if there weren't innocent lives trapped in the rubble left behind from all of the fighting. I speak: "We can't leave yet. We are heroes, whether we like to call ourselves heroes or not. And part of a hero's duty is to rescue people in natural disasters or battles. That doesn't just apply to heroes from the world of quirks where All Might was the symbol of peace." But, we never got a chance to do any rescuing because Koro-sensei appeared to us and spoke through one of many of his after images: "No need to worry about those in need of rescue, brave and noble knights! For I, Koro-sensei am taking care of that as we speak! Soon, this whole world will have no one left trapped beneath rubble and other damage left behind from fierce battles! That is something I sincerely promise so please don't try to assassinate me!" The 2 of us then nod to each other and the octopus waves goodbye as we teleport to Sonic's World which is being damaged heavily by all of the fighting. Looking around, I exclaim: "Wait, are you serious?! There was more military infrastructure here than around Station Square this whole time?! They must have been holding the Master Emerald or something hostage behind our backs this entire time! Knuckles must be PISSED right now!" Herbsalvin nods: "I believe it is exactly as you say it is. Let's find out. Shall we?" "Yes." We teleport closer to the frontlines of the battle and sure enough, Knuckles is pissed off and yelling about the Master Emerald.
"KEEP YOUR GREEDY HANDS OFF THE MASTER EMERALD, SOLDIERS AND ALLIES OF THE EMPIRE OF NACIREMA!" I speak: "Yep. I was right. Okay. The enemy is far too tough for us to do anything more than just delay and stall. That has to change somehow. We have been out of the battle for far too long. That's a lot to consider." "Swift, I know what we can do." "Are you implying that we help jumpstart an era of combination attacks by demonstrating our own against a large number of enemies?" "Aye. It is up to us to do something while the enemy appears too busy to acknowledge that we have arrived to once again do battle with them." "Alright. It seems using fusion to get an edge isn't working. Look at all of the fusions going on around us. I see Gogeta and Gottenks for example as well as Rainbow Quartz 2.0 but they're not working all that well. The Interdimensional Power Break move would be perfect here but it takes a lot of coordination and with the chaos going on around us, that level of coordination just cannot be possibly achieved in a situation like this. Or at least, not easily. Or conveniently. It really is a good idea to share our first combination attack now, made possible through the blood pact we made in place for the typical modern wedding rituals. Those are overrated and kind of overly fancy and stuffy at times but that's not relevant here." We raise our swords and have them tough to form an x. The markings on our hands that we cut ourselves to form the blood pact start to glow immediately as we prepare our attack. And then, as energy gathers in both of our swords, we charge towards the largest concentration of enemies around side by side with our swords ready to go.
"*unison* Blood Pact Combination Attack: Rage Of 2 Knights! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Our attack multiplies our individual maximum attack power by several times, unleashing 2 deadly attacks at once that do a number on the enemy forces. And then, I exclaim: "It's not over! This is the perfect time for this! Artist's Eye: Evolution! *raises sword and focuses on it* Artist Technique: Banishment To The Dream Realm! May your minds be locked into a long series of wonderful dreams!" A huge chunk of the enemy force are put to sleep as they were weakened by what we did just now and in the range of my new technique. This helped our comrades push further into the organized enemy lines with villains in the midst of those lines. Our side is composed of many small and large groups who do not often function the same way an army usually does. For a while from there, it seemed that our side had the advantage until the villains that are fighting us kill off all of the grunts from Nacirema. Frieza yells: "I tire of this! Fellow so called villains, it's time for us to put aside our differences to kill all of these pathetic heroes at once!" Pale Bayleaf replies in the same level of volume: "Yes! Our interests are aligned. We should have done this from the very beginning!" Herbslavin and I have reunited with Eggman's forces, Team Sonic, and the rest of the motley crew that we were just a part of earlier by this point. Sonic replies: "Give it your best shot, villains! But you still can't get us all nor can you catch me, the fastest hedgehog around! *sticks out tongue* What are you waiting for?!"
I sweat drop: "He's practically taking a shirt off to reveal a painted big red target on his chest. This is not a good way to handle what's about to happen." Tirek laughs: "That's a great idea! Let us work together to get rid of all of these enemies of ours at once! I can take all of their magic and become much larger as a result with ease!" Chrysalis replies: "And we can steal all of their powers with Grogar's Bell which we have once again found to add to our collection of things to use against our foes!" Cozy Glow cackles: "When villains work together, not even the goody goody heroes can stop them! We may have our disagreements. Everyone does. But our interests really do align perfectly! This is going to be so much fun! Thanks a lot, Twilight Sparkle! Our getting along so well couldn't have happened if you and your friends hadn't taught me the power of friendship! A better way to be bad is to work together to be even more bad! It was so obvious, we could have figured it out if we weren't so stubborn distrusting and hating each other and possibly ourselves!" Frieza groans: "Can we get this over with?! Revenge is well within our grasp and this time, the heroes won't be able to stop us!" Darkseid laughs: "I never thought having real allies could make it so much easier to complete conquests. No wonder the Justice League and Luthor's group managed to crush my invasion of Earth after I was brought back to life instead of Brainiac." Thanos adds: "We are inevitable." We all get ready to face the teamwork of so many villains head on. It is a mirror image to how the global elite in my world is all connected and focused on the same goals: control, money, power, conformity, and world domination at all costs. I put away my sword in favor of my daggers coated in a substance designed to render an organic target into a dangerous glob of goop that should never be touched.
But as tensions rise and a clash becomes inevitable, some of our comrades teleport in. Many are covered in blood but they're still here anyway. Among them, Deku yells: "We're here now! The invasions of other worlds by Nacirema have finally been crushed!" Bakugo adds: "That's right! Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight is here to show these bastards the lesson they deserve for being villains!" Megumin shouts: "Soon, they will feel the greatest and most powerful magic. The wrath of my Explosion Magic! They will know fear as soon as my explosion envelops them!" Dr. K laughs: "Kolossal, get ready to help crush these foolish villains with everything you have! Same with the rest of you, my robot army!" Stitch cackles: "Hehehehehe! Stitch ready to cause big trouble for bad guys!" Tirek points and laughs at them: "Are you some kind of giant joke?! Don't be ridiculous! Look at how puny most of you are! You think you stand a chance against all of us working together?!" Best Jeanist glares at him and wraps his mouth shut with his quirk: "Watch your mouth, villain. Underestimating us is something you will keep doing, won't you? You never learn no matter how many times you're defeated or killed." We all power up to the max. Frieza laughs again: "Fools! I can also transform! You can't stop us! We'll kill every last one of you right here and now!" Sonic remarks: "Wow and here I thought Eggman had an egghead! No offense, Doc, but that's how I felt for years." "Don't worry, Sonic. I'm not offended by that anymore. We're still rivals but we're no longer mortal enemies." Cozy Glow yells: "That's enough! Let's just kill them all already and get this over with! We've waited too long to get what we want already! I JUST WANT POWER AND MY REVENGE!"
Chrysalis replies: "I feel the same way! I WILL MAKE THOSE PONIES PAY ALONG WITH ALL OF THE CHANGELINGS WHO HAVE TURNED ON ME!" Thorax exclaims: "You're the one who used us for your own evil deeds! We had to fed on the love of others because you never let us learn friendship! But when we opened our hearts and shared the love, our hunger for love finally came to an end!" All of these backs and forths led to a huge rise in tensions until someone attacked first. I don't know who did but someone did. Before I knew it, I found myself fighting with the rest of Team Unpredictable, Doofensmirtz, Team Sonic, Eggman and co, and OWCA against the Metarex and the returned to life LOVEMUFFIN. LOVEMUFFIN start singing out of nowhere while snapping their fingers as they effortlessly defeat various OWCA agents. "This is a battle of good and evil. And it's not good that's going to win. Once again, OWCA's going down but they're not the only ones who are going down. Team Sonic, the Akatsuki, Twisted Land, the Assault Team, and everyone else who opposes us. They're all going down together. Our enemies are going down. They cannot resist the teamwork of us villains. We're turning the tide with ease, they cannot overpower our villainy. All of our dreams are coming true the more time passes. All of us and Katherine Glassgate are going to get everything we want. There's no denying that that's what's about to happen right here right now on this planet. All the heroes are going down." In response, many of us start singing too: "That's how you see it but until this battle is over, the victors cannot be decided. The circumstances can change at any moment. Villains always believe they're set to win but then, they underestimate us and end up losing."
The singing goes on from there until the villains start laughing at the same time while unleashing their most devastating devices and abilities. Dark Oak, Pale Bayleaf, and Black Narcissus merge into a giant dragon. Dark Oak laughs: "We don't need planet eggs anymore to begin the Forestation nor do we need to drain the energy of non plant life!" The villains tried to take our powers with Grogar's Bell but OWCA destroyed it before they could because LOVEMUFFIN were the first to try to use it. Their leader, Rodney yells: "Curse you, OWCA! We could have stolen your powers if it wasn't for your interference in us using Grogar's Bell! You'll pay for that because now, we will show you just what us villains are capable of when we actually work together for once!" Goku Black smirks: "This is beyond even divine justice! I know you're watching from exactly where I brought us, Katherine Glassgate! Pay close attention, you pathetic humam mortal. You may be part machine now but you're still weak and pitiful. Observe what happens when you take our common enemies seriously. They will all perish, leaving none of them around for you to kill yourself! Go, Super Saiyan Rosė." The villains soon unleash their ultimate moves on all of us without mercy. The Hands Of Time mess with time only to be countered by Blaze, Acheron, and others in that department, causing a chaotic fluctuation in the flow of time. Aspera yells: "REVENGE! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE! SHOW NO MERCY, MY FIRE FANGS AS I, ASPERA UNLEASH MY OWN WRATH ON THOSE NINJA, THE WRETCHED DECEIVER, AND THEIR ALLIES!" "DEATH BEAM!" "Let the Forestation of this universe begin! HAHAHAHAHAAHAAAAHAHAHA!"
"Behold, the full power of my Izers! Doofensmirtz's Inators are nothing compared to my Izers!" "We'll see about that, Rodney! Behold, the Many Inators At Once Inator! Time to see what it does! It's much better than my old Really Bad Inator! I never got to use that one!" Several top tier hollows from Bleach screech as they unleash serious spiritual pressure attacks. It was pure chaos but just as all of the attacks seemed destined to vaporize all of us, we responded. I yell: "Generating action field: Artistic Dimension! Activating sphere field and field spell Artistic Space Station!" The line between virtual and real life blurs once again once us. Huang The Hundred Arms from Aincrad blocks some of the attacks from the villains with his mastery of many weapons and fighting styles not to mention immortal form granted to him by a god. Hundreds of defensive measures, structures, and shields are used to defend us from all of the attacks set upon us by the villains. Seeing this, Frieza laughs: "Do any of you fools honestly think that that will be enough to stop us?! Think again!" "Air Strike Shield! Shield Prison! Second Shield!" All kinds of barriers get put up between us and the villains. I help out with that using Artist's Eye before preparing to block and counter with my armor, sword, and shield. But nothing we did was able to come close to what the villains were doing to try to wipe us out. Every attempt at resistance we tried failed despite how formidable we are when we're all together like this. However, at the last second, Jomi and the rest of the Mu force all of the enemy attacks to miss us and be redirected up into space, forcing the villains to start all over again. Sonic yells: "We had better find the Chaos Emeralds and really fast!"
Mordecai and Rigby yell: "We'll buy you some time! Go, Hyperduck!" Yet another powerful new version of Hyperduck was formed but with only a small number of us. To say the least, it was rather unexpected but worked well given our current situation. As if that weren't enough, Pops having been resurrected suddenly transforms into his ultimate deity level form. "This is for my friends and Loliland, the planet where I was born!" A bunch of us out of nowhere shout: "System command: grant unlimited respawning to us and our allies for as long as possible!" That was due to the blurring between digital and physical that's still going on. Frieza laughs: "What is this?! Some kind of ultimate showdown that will prematurely decide the end of this latest conflict between our two sides?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Goku replies: "Not a chance, Frieza! This conflict is just getting started!" "Oh, do go on with that nonsense! It means nothing in the end, you damn monkey!" I literally have no idea how we're going to get out of this in one piece. I am completely clueless. I have so much hope but no clue as to how we're making it out of this situation alright. But then, someone shouts: "BRAIN BLASTERS, WE NEED THEM NOW!" The majority of us pull such weapons out and use them against our foes. But all they do is buy us more time to plan some kind of countermeasure against what's about to happen. I'm out of ideas. My Artist's Eye won't hold against what the villains are set on doing next nor can any of my other skills or techniques. The rest of our comrades teleporting to our location didn't improve our odds very much. Tails panics: "We're running out of time to figure out what to do from here! How can we even stand any chance against all of these villains?!"
Knuckles replies: "I say we get under their skin and get them to fight each other!" Jomi shakes his head: "That won't work. Maybe we can get them to fight each other another day but I can see it in their eyes and read it in some of their minds. They are united against us all for the time being." But suddenly, the scene changes around us only to change again and again and again over and over again before stopping right where we started so it was just a distraction to waste time. I utter: "As things stand, we can't win like this. It will make the full intervention of our divine comrades or something ridiculous to change the trajectory we're on right on. I am at a loss again even as a writer. I got nothing that we could possibly do to turn the tables right back. These villains are as united in their shared intentions as we are. They're all very ambitious and right now, very confident and malevolent as well. Damn it." But then, someone sends us inside of a massive Yami No Game. A mysterious voice that almost sounds familiar speaks: "Welcome to this Yami No Game. Only one side can win, the only side will lose and pay a terrible price for doing so. This will be a game not of strength or power but of smarts and wits." But the villains don't have it and literally force the Shadow Realm to go away before the game could officially begin. A still hurting from earlier Doji laughs: "It's useless to stop us now! There's so many of us! You may outnumber us over 10 to 1 but we outpower you immensely! HAHAHAHA! Yes, oh yes! This arrangement is quite perfect for the ultimate revenge and slaughter, isn't it?! I'll laugh again! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!"
Rago, user of Diablo Nemesis grins: "You mortals and others really are finished. The Black Sun among other forces will consume you whole and then, what King Hades started thousands of years ago will be finished at last!" Dr. Ziggurat adds: "And don't forget the unlimited power of Spiral Force created by Twisted Tempo! Good night heroes! Your reign of useless things like justice and kindness is coming to an end. HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!" The only thing left to do is limit break. Fusion doesn't work. We tried more combination attacks but they did nothing. All that's left is limit break but we aren't able to do it as easily as we have been able to in the past given the current situation. I might as well just write a time skip here that leads into a scene where we without explanation make it out of this somehow without losing anyone. We're still rebuilding many of the things we sacrificed to defeat Don Thousand a month ago. The conflict with him still has many scars left behind from it. The villains are outright laughing at us together as they prepare to finish us off once and for all. But then, Katherine Glassgate appears in front of the villains to address them with a sinister look on her face: "I have a better idea than just finishing them off here. Besides, this universe is useless to the Empire Of Nacirema now that everything my empire had placed within it has been destroyed. The Empire now abandons this universe and its parallel one that once held until an hour ago, the capital of it. A new capital will be determined soon and a new imperial palace will be constructed.
Now, here is my idea. Let's leave these pathetic heroes to wallow in their powerlessness in the face of your evil unity. It's so much more satisfying to let your enemies squirm and struggle to survive than to just put them out of their misery. My troops who are purging my empire of immigrants and transgenderists are taking their time with it. They're enjoying themselves. Making games out of their targets that they are set to purge completely from my empire. I've always enjoyed making others suffer instead of ending them outright when I have the power to. Soon, we will invade all of their home worlds and strip the joy right out of them completely, leaving nothing left but environmental destruction, despair, death, murder, hatred, apathy, and division! What do you say to that?!" Aspera replies: "I still want my revenge!" "You will get your revenge. Let's just let them all suffer for a few more long painful days." Frieza yells: "Bad idea! You spare one of them and they come back to get you the next day! I've seen it so many times! And because Goku has spared me in the past, he has seen them come back to get my enemies firsthand! Are you saying that you want us to give them time to get stronger? Because that's what I'm hearing! You really are a pitiful human being, Katherine!" "I should have you executed for saying that but no, I value our alliance.
I'm not like others they also call villains. What I'm proposing isn't mercy. It's like putting someone on death row and making sure they know their execution is still years down the line so they suffer, knowing when they will be executed from the getgo! I still plan on helping you rebuild your Frieza Force and taking over all of Universe 7. I will even help you kill its Supreme Kai to then also kill its Destroyer God of Destruction." Emperor Belos from The Owl House speaks in his chilling voice: "I agree to this idea of yours, Empress Katherine Glassgate of the Empire of Nacirema. But on one condition. You move the capital to the Boiling Isles. If I may, I could help you rule your empire. I ruled the Boiling Isles for a long time. I know how to rule an empire." "I'll think about it but yes, I will move the capital to the Boiling Isles. It will be oddly fitting especially with the purge of wild magic we're about to begin together, Belos." Some of us try to get the villains to oppose the idea but they don't listen to us as they become more convinced by the arguments made in favor of it. Due to this, things were about to about to get even darker for us. Goku Black grins: "I can wait to kill these mortals myself. I won't oppose this plan." One by one, the villains come to a consensus and we're powerless to stop them from doing so. Where are the gods on our side? In a feud with other gods they can't walk away from that so happened to have started not long before all of this crap. And The Plot and their subordinates are nowhere to be found even though it should be in their interest to help us because doing so would continue to course towards the ultimate battle where everything is at stake.
The villains then vanish just like that with only Katherine Glassgate left to speak to us: "Heroes, you have a few days left to wallow in yourselves. Everything you cherish will be destroyed along with the remainders of your life spans. Soon, there will be nothing left of any of you. You can try to fight the villains again but nothing you do will be able to save you. I don't need to use my powers to end you myself. None of you are worthy of me taking on in a serious fight. You mean nothing to me. You are pests that need to be exterminated. You are vermin and that's all you are." And with that, she vanishes too. Myself and the others who reside in Mii World head back there immediately. I am shaken beyond belief. I start silently trembling and crying. Despair consumes my thoughts. Logically, I should have been able to fight off my despair but my emotions.. My impulse reactions.. They were too strong and I wasn't the only one to be crushed. All of our spirits were broken. I teleported to Twisted Land and went to the small house I built for myself near it just within the most northwestern part of Chaos World. I then sit on the bed inside and start actively sobbing. "Not here too.. Not here.. Not here.. It's just like what's happening in my world but worse! *scream* Not here.. Not here.. It's happening here too.. The fascists are destroying and crushing everything and everyone who stands in the way of their evil ways.. Covid must be spreading out of control on so many Earths because of Katherine Glassgate.. DAMN IT.." Not even my sword could give me any comfort this time. Despite pulling it out and hugging it close to my armored chest, I just cried even harder, longing even more for comfort.
No one came to comfort me. The entire collective was brought to its knees, far too many of us were in misery to even remotely attempt to try to make one another feel better. I cut off all communication with the others as I wallowed more and more in my despair. Being alone in sorrow.. It's the worst, even for an introvert like me. The weight of the world on someone's shoulders cannot be handled alone. And yet, here I was, trying to handle it alone. I could almost feel myself slipping into a mindset that I keep myself from going to because it's not healthy or safe. The mindset I claim to have when I pretend to be my false alternate identity Darkwind but I was too sad to even go there. I cried until I just couldn't cry anymore. I pull out water out of my inventory to drink because I'm thirsty now but despite the comforting feeling of the water as I sipped it, I didn't feel much better. Instead, I just kept thinking sad and dark thoughts. My body continued to shake and I almost started crying again due to drinking that water. But instead, I just screamed and made crying noises without the actual crying. It's natural to feel this ways sometimes but feeling this way all the time breaks a person. But as I kept being miserable, I completely forgot about emotional regulation and rational thinking. So the misery just continued on for hours even as I had a quick dinner and ended up falling asleep without even realizing it. After having nightmares, I woke up in the middle of the night terrified and sad. I trembled in fear and started crying again. But as I learned later, I was far from the one experiencing the most mental and emotional agony at the time. As someone with solid mental health most of the time, it said a lot that I had become so miserable.
But then, I looked out one of the windows in my tiny little house in Chaos World. In the night sky, most of my outdoor coasters are completely pitch black outside of their stations. And yet, I could still see the coasters around me as well as the hotel just a few blocks south of my little house and Cartoon Lake just about 30-50 blocks north of it. Seeing all of that reminded me of what I'm capable of. "What have I been doing? In this resort, I'm home. And this is all my own creation. All of this effort all built by myself. If I can do something like this by myself.. Then I can find a way to overcome this pain. Compared to building all of this, doing so will be so easy.." I stop cutting off communications and walk back into Twisted Land. I ride several of my best creations including Escape From Kanoka!, Mining Mayhem, Exploration Of The Tukan Pyramid: Pharaonic Rage, Your Isekai, and Doom Manor. That brought back memories of building each one and putting so much thought and effort into each. Each one was so difficult to pull off. Especially Pharaonic Rage and Mining Mayhem. With my cape once again fluttering in the wind, I teleport to the BRAINS space station and go to one of the training rooms onboard. I have a seriously intense sword training session, having regained my passion and overall mojo. My physical arm strength no longer grows due to the fact that the zombie curse I have has capped my physical strength in my muscles to a certain level. But that doesn't mean I didn't get better. No, my overall sword skills improved slightly as did my footwork and movement speed in my legs. I also focused on seriously working out my leg muscles.
Because my arm muscles can't get stronger anymore right now, I have to improve my leg muscles to move faster and kick harder if I need to kick someone or something. I get my thoughts together as I train. Once I'm satisfied with my training, I stop and slide and push my sword into its scabbard. "I'm going to send a message to everyone else. If anyone else is still feeling miserable, they will hear my words and I hope they will be inspired by them." Inside the training room, I make a video message: "This is Swiftdrawer. I have recovered from my own internal turmoil. If you are still struggling, please listen to me. Don't isolate yourself! Remember that we all support you! Don't forget the things that bring you joy. Recall why you fight alongside all of us. Think of why you chose to help with the operation to save the 2 universes of Sonic X! My Minecraft theme park Twisted Land was the number one thing that helped me get my passion back. I have spent an amount of time thats getting closer and closer to 2000 hours working on it and what now surrounds it! Do not let those damn scumbag villains bring you down! If we want to get them next time or at least, make them retreat instead of finding and slaughtering all of us, we will have to take things up many notches! Now then, I must leave because I have to report in for assassination assignments to keep my job so that I can stay close to enemy number one!" I end the message recording and upload it immediately. Once it's done uploading, I go to Katherine's new imperial palace and bed chambers in the Boiling Isles. The palace is just a transformed version of the palace that Belos ruled from so it was easy to find.
I of course donned my Darkwind outfit before getting inside. I just hope Herbsalvin doesn't get caught due to seemingly vanishing for who knows how long. Their impersonation of that politician must continue and not be discovered as one. Once I find the bed chambers of our enemy, I slip inside. She says: "You're late. Where were you? I have new targets for you to kill." "Sorry about that, the hatred I feel for the society that tossed me aside caused me to go on a hours long rant to myself about how much I hate it! But I'm better now. Who do you want me to kill?" And so, the rest of the night was spent staging several convincing assassinations and gaining more of Katherine's trust in an attempt to get more information out of her. I learned that she planned on having the villains end all of us in the middle of the morning, days earlier than planned while also launching invasions of other worlds. I of course slipped away into the night before the Sun rose 2 hours ahead of when it does usually in Twisted Land when day-night cycles aren't only 20 minutes long. In reality though, the Boiling Isles and Twisted Land are on 2 vastly different dates. But because they're on worlds that are similar to Earth.. I think you get the picture of what that means. I don't leave the Boiling Isles, instead I send another message to the main chat about what I just learned and sneak into the magic school Hexside. It's the last sanctuary for the inhabitants of the Boiling Isles, largely a lot like what it was during the days up to the Day Of Unification, a devious plan to eliminate wild magic that didn't conform to the coven system devised by Belos to control all users of magic.
But this time, the outside looked totally shuttered and abandoned, devoid of life. All in order to trick Nacirema's forces into thinking it was nothing to look into. And the fascist imperial government even ordered it be shut down anyway so it at least looked the part. Once inside, I find myself walking almost right into Team Sonic, Eggman and co, and the rest of Team Unpredictable again. Herbsalvin smiles as I take my Darkwind outfit off to reveal my knightly identity once more. They hug me passionately. "You're here. Everyone got your messages and myself and several others were able to verify that we heard the same thing from Katherine Glassgate." We share a kiss before I reply: "Okay, romantic stuff over for now. It's time to get really serious again. We only have a couple of hours before all hell breaks loose. In order to overcome our foes, we need several plans to happen at once. If we could separate them, that'd be a start. But of course, I'm just spitballing right now. We'll figure it out now that seemingly everyone has managed to recover from you know what." In Hexside and various other locations across the multiverse, we devise so many plans and remind each other of the power of using the imagination to overestimate our enemies. It's not easy to overestimate the villains we have to contend with right now but we're still trying to do so. That's how we managed to defeat An Incarnation Of The Radius in Aincrad without too much trouble. We were ready for everything we knew it did, everything it did but never did previously, and everything it didn't do.
We have ourselves a beautiful series of plans by the time mid morning approaches. Mid morning ended up meaning 9 am as we assumed it would. It was time to start the most ridiculously effective rebellion ever. The Boiling Isles is about to rebel so quickly that our enemies will lose everything besides the imperial palace in seconds. Luz, Eda, Principal Bump, Amity, Hunter, and the other noteworthy magic users in the Boiling Isles helped coordinate the efforts and contact others remotely throughout the entire Boiling Isles. In one fell swoop, we were going to create some chaos. And when the time became 8:45 AM, that's when we struck. Myself, Team Sonic, and the others I've ended up with a lot as of late go to the town surrounding the imperial palace to aid the uprising. We shouted messages of defiance and rebellion. I personally knocked out a lot of guards left over from the era of Belos's original rule over the Boiling Isles. The island made out of the corpse of a dead titan soon erupted into full on rebellion. We even passed out weapons for residents to use. It was pure chaos everywhere. "Take this! HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Pulling a tactic shared by Lucy to Gru in Despicable Me 2, I unleash my attack before saying its name. "Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 150!" You'll see that tactic be adopted more and more from now on. It's so obvious, we should have been doing it the entire time. Before our foes knew it, they had lost 99.9% of the Boiling Isles before 9 am even came around. And they were left unaware until then because we messed with communications and overpowered the guards, military, and police they had stationed all over the region.
Eggman laughs: "Ha! That'll teach them to mess with Dr. Eggman! But a genius like me is still far from finished! Just you wait and see! I have a lot more in store for our enemies!" The Boiling Isles wasnt the only location we helped rise up. 40 other planets were engulfed in rebellion at the same time. When the time came for mid morning to arrive, Katherine walked to the big balcony in the front side of the palace, looking over the town below. And we made it look like the town hadn't just erupted into rebellion and overthrew the authorities inside of it so she was clueless at first. It helps that we used silencing spells and other things to have a successful uprising without the villain hearing, seeing, smelling, or sensing a thing. That also required not taking over the majority of the palace just yet but it was well worth it. She prepares to speak with citizens below pretending to be obedient while the rest of us who aren't from the town play the role of town guards and what not. Belos appears beside her and casts a spell. She thanks him and begins: "Hear me, Boiling Isles, I am your empress and the empress of the rest of the Empire of Nacirema as well. Today is a very good day for you all! *casts her own spell* This speech will be heard throughout the whole of my empire. Today is a special day. Today is the day where all of the powerful heroes who have stood in the way of this empire's expansion will be killed off permanently! In addition, the purge of wild magic from the Boiling Isles will now begin with my order to kill anyone who practices it and refuses to be a part of the revived coven system! Today, I will assume the position of a dictator for a day. I will be ruthless and put an end to all deviancy AND disobedience AND rebellion.
I will be judge, jury, and executioner. And I sentence anyone who expresses deviant, disobedient, or rebellious actions, no matter how tiny they are to death! Show no mercy! And for those of you who won't be sentenced to death, you will be rewarded handsomely if you kill even just one person I have deemed to be executed! That's right! Let's make this into the ultimate hunt! Kill those who go against me and you win money!" We continues on but we don't listen. Instead, we unleash several plans at once and remove all of our disguises, showing that the town has fallen into our hands in the process. Before the 2 villains could even react, some of our comrades had gotten inside the palace and blown it up from the inside. It appears Katherine has already tired of keeping those she hates alive to suffer given her 180 from what she said just yesterday. Due to the explosion, Belos and Katherine end up falling as the balcony collapses. I slip away and put my Akatsuki outfit back on before charging towards Katherine who is trying to get out of the rubble now. I pull out my daggers wordlessly amd point them towards her: "Surrender now, Katherine Glassgate. Give up and this conflict can end without anymore bloodshed. Even you would prefer this to end peacefully, wouldn't you? Fascists like you love gaining power peacefully if you can. It makes fooling people and making them suffer that much easier for you." "Surrender?! You and the rest of the so called heroes are weak and scheduled to be slaughtered at any minute!" "We have destroyed your new palace and liberated the whole Boiling Isles in little time at all." "So what?! I will keep losing if that's what it takes to win and kill all opposition and freaks who are too disgusting to belong in my empire!"
I attack her fiercely with my daggers. Belos tries to intervene but someone creates a magic dead zone around us for now, making magic useless within its area of effect. He is then handled by Luz and her friends in a losing battle. Meanwhile, the others who have come to this town join me in fighting against Katherine. She sneers at us: "It's just as I thought! The Akatsuki works with members of the group known as Infinity! I loathe and hate all of you so very much! You are a threat to MY power! And I will kill all of you if that's what it takes to win this time!" But a twist occurs. Cream yells: "I won't let you get away with what you're doing anymore! You're a big meanie, Katherine Glassgate! And you should be ashamed of yourself! But you won't allow yourself to be so I think it's time you get what you deserve!" She pulls out a creepy looking doll and undoes its thread. A voice speaks: "Your grievance shall be avenged." I mutter to myself while helping fight Katherine physically while she keeps dodging or tanking everything we throw at her: "That voice is from Hell Girl. How did Cream get her hands on that doll and how did she contact the Hell Correspondence?" Out of nowhere, a strange flying hell chariot appears and lands on the ground before transforming into an elderly man with no eyes. There's also a young man and woman and a little girl with a serious expression on her face. It's Hell Girl aka Ai. The young man speaks: "So, do we have a verdict? We've been watching a lot. I never thought we'd end up crossing into whole other universes.." Katherine yells: "Who are you people and what do YOU want?!" Ai replies: "My name is Ai. We have seen enough." The young woman speaks: "Very well. It's time. Katherine Glassgate. You have committed countless atrocities against numerous living individuals. Your punishment will be well suited for your crimes. You must pay for what you've done."
Ai adds: "Oh miserable shadow lost in the darkness. Perhaps.. It's time for you to die." Things around us get surreal as Katherine is bound to all kinds of things so she can't resist the punishment that's about to be brought onto her. And there's all kinds of illusions as well. Like fire and stuff like that. The young woman speaks to us: "We don't normally offer this but if you're willing, we'll allow you to watch what happens next from here through some magic." Some of us accept her offer. She nods and so, we watch as Katherine is sent to Hell by boat with Ai rowing it slowly all by herself. Katherine yells: "What the hell is this?! HOW DARE YOU DEFY MY POWER!" Ai replies: "You have within just a few days caused much suffering throughout the multiverse without any regard for the lives and feelings of others. You even work with others to achieve their dark desires as well. You will soon be trapped, left to wander a place of eternal torment for all of eternity. So I am to take you to hell.." I say to Cream: "Cream, are you sure about this? You made a contract with Ai and you'll be sent to Hell, doomed to wander forever once you die." "Yes. I'm sure. It's worth it if it means the big meanie gets what she deserves!" Cheese concurs: "Chow chooow.." In the distance, a large explosion is heard. Looking over, I know who did it. It was Megumin. Of course it was. But just as we began to relax a bit, Jomi speaks: "No, this isn't how it's going to end. Our enemy won't give up like this." Senku adds: "Yeah, I'm 10 billion % certain that Katherine Glassgate will break free of Ai. There's no way she'd let it end like this." I sigh: "I have to agree too.."
The young woman speaks: "So you're saying this person is even more powerful than Ai? How is that possible?" Amy replies: "It would take forever to explain! Maybe we will later! I don't know!" True to our fears, Katherine tries to kill Ai and return to our location. She only succeeds in the latter. Due to this, the seal on Cream shatters. Ai speaks as she returns as well: "Our contract has been broken. This has never happened before." Katherine laughs at all of us: "I told you! I told you exactly what I planned on doing! My allies and I WILL get every single thing we want and there's nothing you can do about it!" We all work together to engage her in combat but nothing we do hurts her. It either hits her robot parts or she dodges it. The villain doesn't even fight back. Instead, she orders her military forces to fire at us. Eggman yells: "Will you stop that?! Why don't you fight us seriously already?!" "I will not. I don't need to waste my power in disposing of all of you. I have learned from those who have tried to conquer or destroy the multiverse before me." I decide to try the opposite of Banishment To The Dream Realm on her now that it's a new day. She doesn't resist it at all and she falls asleep. What did I do? I sent her mind into a painfully long series of nightmares. Katherine actually looked stressed out and afraid before she woke up after a few minutes, having busted right through most of those nightmares with her power with ease. The villain then says: "Useless! Useless! None of you are worthy of being killed by my own hands! You only deserve to be killed by my orders! I will not waste my power on you and I will say that as many times as I have to so you freaks stop asking me about that!"
Candace replies: "Wow, you really are weird." "Men! Kill that teenage girl! Focus on her and end her already!" Suddenly, Candace is the one more constantly bombarded with bombs, missiles, bullets, you name it. But we made sure none of them hurt her. She's wearing her normal clothes except they're extremely strong just like good quality armor. To be continued..
