Before the outbreak.

XR sat as he was waiting at the academy for the result of his test to become an official officer. He has waited for months, studying and earning his career being a cop.

"XR good to see you."

XR looks up to see it was buzz but frowns seeing it was his pops too.

"Hey buzz, sir." He saluted but his pops but glares.

"In my office." He states walking passed him.

"Hey it's going to be ok." Buzz smiles. "How's Nos?" He asked him.

"He's doing better. He's been taking this new serum for his anaemia. He's been trying to get better since they took the cancer out. I knew my Nos was a fighter!" XR grins punching air to showing it.

"That's good to hear. I knew it was hard but you guys will make it through." Buzz smiles patting his back.

"Today he's going to meet me at the cafe we like hanging out at to celebrate." He smiles. "I know he wants me to go for my dream but I'm scared that I'll work too much and I find him gone."

"XR when you become part of the force, your first start is meter made so you won't be missing out and aren't you guys thinking about adopting soon?"

"Actually we're having a surrogate and his sister's already more than happy so she's almost ready to pop soon." He smiles. "It's been one of the few reasons keeping Nos not kicking the bucket even when it was getting hard." He frowns a bit stopping at his pops door.

"Hey no matter what, it's gonna be ok."

XR smiles but steps in and sees his pops talking to a girl who he knew was his ex.

"XR!" She squeals, rushing to hug him and before he can push her away, she kissed his cheek.

"Betty…. it's nice to see you, but I can't stay to talk." He pulls away but his father said otherwise by his expression.

"Son i found out there's a position open to being a cop XR."

XR pulls away from her and looks up. "That's great!"

"But…. You can't just get the position. You gotta do a few things." He stated

XR glares and looks at his "pops". "I am not giving Nos up!"

"He's a walking corpse XR. He can die any day-"

"And I will keep being there for him. I love nos and were going to have a family soon and even if the chances are thin, Nos has gotten through worse and survived this! He may be having trouble with his bone marrow, but he isn't dying! " He glares and leaves the office, knowing he lost His chance here at the station.

XR sighs wondering what now as he gets a call from Nos.

"Hey gorgeous." He smiles, putting his hurt aside.

Nos chuckles and was fixing his sleeve.

"Hello little love, i gotten my results from the test and I gotten another blood test just to check."

"What did your results say?" He asked making his way to the street corner.

"I want to see it when you do." Nos smiles but hears someone scream just as he exit out. "Something happened inside just as I went out-"

"Probably someone broke their arm, city popular for broken bones." XR jokes and hears from a distance a crash. He didn't understood at the moment but tried to ignore the accident. "So since your making it mysterious, how about we make dinner together yeah?" He asked before hearing a scream

Nos not far from him hears a blood curdling scream not far from him. "XR i think something is wrong out here…" he spoke slowly with fear crawling up his spine.

XR hearing the scream, makes his way to the car. "Now, your not far from my brother's place, go there and be safe. I'll try to get to you soon-"

He moved when a person tries to tackle him down but he moves away and began running.

"Nos! Get out of any populated area!" He ran to his car. "Stay at my brothers house!" He unlocks the door and wen tinside. Already, he was trying to start his car. He watches the horrific sight, people biting, and eating each other as he sees people themselves going crazy. All he can think was his husband, thinking did he make it home or- he cried at the thought. Question after question, rolled in his head and shook as he tried to believe he made it. "Nos always keep running and he was the best at running from being tagged when we were kids, he's safe..." He sees his pops running out shooting at his own men, who were disfigured by being mauled or have their organs out, blood smeared but their sounds, moans and all, it was haunting.

He stops his car, grabbed his bat and hurried out to attack the things, these zombies as he hoped he didn't see Buzz among them or warp. 'Please be safe you guys.' He whacks them and hits the head remembering the games he used to play.

"Come on dad!" He shouts smacking one from biting him. He sees his pops running up with him and hurries to join him.

"Come on pops!" He runs but sees his car hijacked by a few people however, he watches them fighting for it as the zombies were coming up. He grabbed his pops to a different way to go, looking around to find a safe place.

"My car son! Let's go!" He shouts.

Dr follows him to the parking area and sees many searching for flesh and alive.

"We can't get through." He looks to his pops but freeze seeing him aim his gun at him. "P-pops, we can survive this." He shook.

"XR we know how this is gonna end and people will need a leader. People will want a sheriff, not a sham." His gun clicked and XR already ran catching a few zombies sight and they were already made their way to him.

XR ran and cried as he hoped he wasn't-

BAM!

XR gasps and feels the shot on his side, alerting a few near and tears the disturbing gasps and moans and blood curdling screams as he made his run. He ignore the throbbing pain.

I just need to get to XL!

"Hi I'm nosferatu, want to be friends?"

He thought of the first time he met Nos.

"We were…. Just f-five…" he pants and ran as he was coughing. He keeps remembering the times Nos was there, when they hung out.

"He was… the better runner… better gamer…." He chuckles and pants feeling as if everything was slowing. He makes his way to a deserted store and closed it, locking it as he hears them banging and hitting the door.

He calls up Nos and it went to voicemail. "P-probably calling his dad." He coughs up blood. "Hey ba-abe. I I'm.

-" he stops and cried, he was dying, he could feel it. "I'm coming home." He smiles thinking of their first kiss.

Nos and XR sat in the grass looking at the stars. "Hey nos, do you think we'll get to live in space?" He asked.

"I think we're a bit far from that but if we do, I want to go live out there than live out here." Nos answers, smiling at the idea living in space. "But i think I still come back here." He looks to him.

"You missed me? I feel special." XR grins.

"Of course I- I like you and care about you. You're the only few who accepts me…" Nos looks away. "It would be lonely without you." He looks away.

XR sits up and smiles sitting close and smiles before kissing his cheek. "Then let's go into space together." He grins, making nos red before kissing him. It was clumsy and soft but it felt right.

"I love you xavier." Nos blushes but soon everything was fading.

"I love you too Nos…" XRs breath was slow. He tried to keep awake but he remembers that moment, laying back on the grass and watch the stars lay out.

"I feel tired nos…" he yawn, holding him close.

"I'll hold you close. We'll wake up later but may get sick." He smiles.

"I'll take yhat... than... bein… lone…" he breathes out his last breathe before slumping against the floor.

He wakes up, everything felt numb. He gets up and looks around trying to remember what was he doing here. He wobbles but slowly walks, his legs felt heavy like-

He stops trying to focus, thinking what was it. He felt heavy and he didn't know what was it before he Hears something and looks up and makes his way seeing something but his thoughts slowly came clear.
