Nos sat on an asteroid of a planet's ring that was off from star command. He sat and looked out to the void of space, curious and yet full of conflicting thoughts and emotions.
"Oh thou art a beautiful Segovia angel?"
Nos glares slightly at the familiar, flirtatious robot he knew as XR. "Glowing through a meager ring? Or a god imprisoned in those servos. Servos that reflect like shining rubies?"
Nos would have waived this as nothing but he couldn't help but chuckle at the terrible attempt. "All done?" He asked.
"Well I got more but it's a bit spicy if you're up to it." XR sat next to him with a seductive grin and wriggled his brows. "Or you could just let me show you the ways I am attracted to thee. Or we can talk about what's been going on with you since you reached out to me." XR scooted a bit away to give Nos some space.
"Perhaps I'd rather let you get it out of your system." Nos was not sure if he wanted to talk about it now.
"Personal problem it is then." XR can say he would enjoy whispering things to male the energy vampire blush, but it meant to him more that Nos reach out to him first to talk.

This made him more giddy than the fanart he paid to have him and Nos together! "So what's got you bothered that you can't share about it with that hero to zero?" XR was grinning at this triumph.
Nos, holding his hands together, wavering but decided to talk to him. Tell him the recent news. "Do you mind I start off from the beginning?"
"By all means." XR grins.
Nos looks to him before looking out to space. "It started with a dream…."
the late night evening in the trade world.
A robotic vendor was making his usual venture traveling through the streets.
"Cruddy hooligans… should respect not kick me!" He grumbled.
As the robot vendor made his way, he was tackled by something screaming a high pitch as the stalker bit into him.
Nos screamed moving too quickly, hitting the lid of his coffin and groaning irritably from the nightmare. He looks down at his claws thinking they were perhaps just his fears.
My fears… it reminds me of how I began….
1 year, 3 months, 17 days and 23 hours ago…
In the lab of the evil emperor, Zurg was testing his latest project of a small uni-mind.
"Hmmm." Zurg hummed, watching the slow chaotic mind develop but alas it stopped as it stood small and growled blasting at the wall but saw it was uncontrollable…..
"Wait a minute. You're saying you remembered that part?" XR was astonished before taking No's hand and nuzzling it. "And you said you weren't special~ I saw it the second we met."
Nos Pulls his arm back. "As I was saying, I could not help but feel so confused. It was so overwhelming that I woke up but more drained. I tried not to think about it."
hall to dining hall.
Nos was ignoring his hunger since he was late to work on a report on the recent mission. However as he was hurrying off, he stopped to see Booster in a rush to the docking transport bay.
Nos being curious, floats over to stop his friend. "Booster? Is everything alright?"
"Hey buddy!" Booster grins, he was wearing overalls and his bag full of things with him.
Nos, confused, was about to ask when he saw Mira was talking (arguing) with her father through the Communication Device in her watch. She was wearing simple pants and a shirt that she mentioned were for her "lazy days". "Please don't make a scene father, I'm going back home with Warp. He will give me a ride."
"Where are you two going?" Nos asked, getting worried.
"Well, I'm going to see my family back at the farm and Mira is going home too. We'll be back in three days, bud." Booster grins excitedly, carrying his luggage.
"Oh." Was his only answer. He had not thought of the term… family. The first thought of it only made him think of Zurg but shook it off. "Well please be safe." He forced a smile.
"Gee thanks!" He smiles hugging Nos who, among a few, was happy to reciprocate his tight hugs.
Nos smiles and waves him off as Mira rushes off without a goodbye. He did not mind but seeing them leave, made his uni-core drop as he went back to his job.
"Alright Nos!"
Nos perks and sees Buzz walking up to him with a smile. "Guess it's just you and me on report duty."
Nos only nodded, feeling relief to be not alone in star command. He did not mind the boring work, it was mostly being able to spend time with a friend and not being isolated in star command. "I do not mind." He did not see Buzz in any attraction, he mostly saw buzz as a friend he could count on and trust.
"Lightyear and Nos! Report to my office!"
Buzz looks at Nos and pulls him in a buddy hold to join him. "Let's go see what the commander needs."
Nos was surprised and followed but when they entered, Nos was pinned to the ground and weapons aimed at him.
"Commander!" Buzz moves the other rangers away and off of Nos who got up.
"Nos you have been attacking robots haven't you!" Commander nebula glares.
"What are you talking about? I have been on this ship for the past week, where would I even go?!" Nos glares, resisting his defense programme as they gripped on his wrists harder.
"There's been an attack on the Trade World 24 hours ago!" Nebula glares down at the suppressed energy vampire.
"Sir!" Buzz pushes the rangers off, he was not going to let them hurt his friend. "Nos was here the whole time!" Buzz interjected and showed proof of his sleep scheduled.
"Earlier he was even scheduled to be troop leader for the star command scouts. They can prove he has been here the whole time."
Nos was shaking as he was resisting the attack and felt nervous until Buzz pushed them off and kept Nos behind him.
"Fine he's not in trouble for now, but there have been some attacks on Tradeworld. Lightyear, you and energy sucker there will go down and check it out but if I here you get out of line-"
Nos glares but looks away as Buzz had to interject. "We'll stop them sir."
"Hold on!" XR held his hands up for a time out. "You were about to go to jail! For something you didn't do, and you still went to prove yourself."
"XR, can you blame them when there was attacks-"
"Nos, you're not like everyone." XR gave a stern glare, stopping Nos. "You wouldn't do that. Even if you could, you wouldn't do that because you know it." XR crosses his arms and looks away, but didn't see the small smile Nos gave. "That's my fact."
"Same words like- certain people told me that they knew I was innocent." Nos heard from said ex ranger, he never liked to be compared, even as a compliment, by Buzz.
"So is this where the problem you told me you need to tell me?" XR asked, still annoyed a bit by Nebula's short sighted mind
"Not exactly," Nos leans back looking out to the stars, thinking about it still makes him feel dread. "It started when we arrived at the crime scene at tradeworld."
Nos and Buzz arrived at the scene of the crime, the vending machine already carried away but by the sensors, he was barely surviving. Nos looks around for clues but hears the wife of the vending machine crying.
"Why would anyone hurt him?!" She wails out.
Nos floats over to her and awkwardly pat her back as she cries from her lid. "Do not worry, we will-"
"He's a good man! He wouldn't fight or mess around!" She shouted, surprising Nos. "He even gives sodas to the kids!"
Nos pats her back, trying to not look nervous but could understand her sorrow. Why would someone hurt her husband who had no reason or enemies? It just did not make sense. "He is a good man." He moves away from her and looks to the vending machine only for some people to stare down at him as if he was the culprit.
"Was it that robot?!"
"it has to be him!"
Nos kept quiet.
"No," Nos perks to the vending machine. "He looks like the attacker, but he has legs. This guy isn't him. His face was pure black! Looked like a monster." Nos watched the vendor being transported out, and looked through the scan to find a piercings that looked like a bite but it was not his.
Buzz looks around before finding traces of high heat remnants of a blaster. "He wasn't alone. Nos can you scan the area?"
Nos float to his side, scanning around the area and found-
He froze, finding traces of a signature reading of his but not his. "... There is someone like me…." He says quietly.
"Nos it's not you, it means there's a fake using you to hide themselves." Buzz looks around for any more clues.
"Lightyear, if I cannot find this-!" Nos was now dodging a hit and saw a kid shooting at him. Nos kept on dodging until he was forced to fly off as Buzz was trying to stop the attacker.
Nos flees from the area before groaning and seeing flashes of this area but it was overwhelming his processors. 'What is wrong with me!?' He flew to a secluded place up on top. He sat down before thinking what to do, trying not to think of his current situation. He was getting tired and curled himself before shutting down
Zurg was at the moment building a robot unlike any other! He smirks seeing the process coming through only to burst as the chamber blew from the energy.
"Blast!" He shouted seeing the new chamber combusted.
"If only something can be an adapter for the anti- matter!" He growls but looks over to the small prototype uni mind.
He smirked before pulling it out of its containment and places it in the chest and not too long he watches it scream as they whole rooms system went berserk as they unimind was getting infected by the antimatter which they once corrupted uni mind once purple and red was now orange and blue.
Just as they robot was roaring he attacked zurg-
Nos sat up in shock! He winces from the pain of a shock surge in his system. He was processing his mind before looking around and froze in shock. Everywhere was parts and robots! He backs away in shakes feeling the fear and dread.
"Th-this.. W-what did I do?!"
"You didn't do anything."
Nos looks up to see a white robot but has a screen for a face as he walks over to him. "Stay back!" Nos shook but saw the robot ignored him and got closer before kneeling down. Nos growls but stops to see a strong energy fuel device.
"You didn't have enough energy in you and luckily I got to you and brought you here." The robot spoke and sat across from him. "It's just a simple device. I figure you wouldn't bite into a processing robot."
Nos didn't know if he could be ok with it either way but he had no choice and bit down, absorbing the energy. He felt full again, his processors were stable. He looks around to see it was a graveyard and a junkyard. Some were older and rusted out. He would have thank the bot, but he was being cautious because he has the same frequencies he's been feeling since he appeared. Not to mention this bot knew what he preferred.
"Pretty sure you're already aware I'm not an average robot." He held his hand out for Nos. the energy vampire scans his hands. Thst was when he found his "fangs".
"This is how I'm absorbing energy." He holds a battery and Nos senses the energy depletes. Surprised but still shaking, the space ranger was feeling dread from scanning the dead robots.
"Don't bother, they are long dead. We're in a junkyard grave." The white robot spoke but saw Nos was still not budging.
"Right, suspicious of me for knowing all about you. I'm ald-07. But you can call me Ald." The now dubbed Ald spoke.
"Nos but you know who I am already." Then it clicked. "You have been attacking innocent robots for the past 24 hours, why?" He looked to Ald.
"How else would I get you here?" Ald retorted back and got up. "Stepping into a ship full of rangers is not a grand idea-"
"SO IS ATTACKING INNOCENT CIVILIANS BETTER?!" Nos shouted standing up but falters when he sees he was standing on two legs.
"I know it was not a grand idea. It was my only way to meet you." his screen face looks to him. "I had to meet my brother."
Nos froze in place. "What?"
Just before Ald can say anything, he pushes Nos away just as a blast hits between them. He struggles to get up but sees Ald roaring, his screen split across to reveal a mouth. Nos was quiet and tries to get up.
"Nos don't fight him!"
Nos however moves and without hesitation, he blocks the blast, keeping ald behind him. He could figure out the how or why but nothing made sense but the dreams he been having- those remorseful moments. Were Ald-
SYSTEM SHUTDOWN….!
He felt his body stumble and looks to see ald screen was red but saw a message sent to him
Saving you.
He was turning off and he heard someone scream his name out.
"Oh my weapon of destruction, wake up~"
Nos woke up as he was beginning to feel awake as he felt deja vu, but how can it when it is his first time waking up? He looked around and saw in the mirror, an unfamiliar robot. He had a pure white and black outline but his face, devoid of any features.
"Ald-07, you will be my perfect weapon to destroy Buzz lightyear! But you need to bring me someone first. Your predecessor, Nos-4-a2, has seemed to have gone out of line. Bring him back."
Nos or Ald-07 was watching but his unimind was processing different.

Nos woke up again but looked to himself and saw he was not in a memory. He felt charged up and shocked to find himself relieved to see a friend… if only it was just Buzz.
He saw it was a little girl with a big cannon gun in front of his face.
"WHERE IS HE!?" Nos stares at the girl
"Savy, Nos isn't with that guy. As you saw, he was controlled by him." Buzz stops her, trying to not use any derogatory names. Nos could assume Buzz heard their talk.
"What happened?" Nos looks down to see his form was back to normal.
"You were out when you shielded him but…. Nos who was that guy you were talking to? We heard some…. Stuff…" Buzz was worried what to say
Nos was quiet, he didn't know what He could say.
"You know who he is," the preteen glares. "So spill it."
"Who are you?" Nos asked. "I like to know who you are before I answer. It is only fair since you have a cannon in front of my face." He crosses his arms.
"Savy sl2 you energy eating monster. Your friend took my parents and I want to end him."
"You cannot do that." Nos glares, he sees her pull the trigger but nothing happens. "You cannot destroy someone just out of revenge."
Buzz step between them. "Nos I get it, he needs to be arrested-"
"Buzz, he needs my help. He isn't doing this as a criminal." Nos growls at him, he was getting enraged because-
"Nos."
Nos looks down, holding a crushed hand. He lets go but the said crushed hand holds his hand.
"You can take a moment to process that. You'd be surprised how I was when XL told me I was his brother." XR looked drained at the thought of it. "I mean I didn't exactly look happy or surprised. I was still mulling over how I was terminated without a chance. I betcha your- well this Ald-07 seemed shocking. But you were in the spotlight, what did you feel?"
Nos looked at him before looking out. "I felt not so alone anymore but I was worried about losing him."
"Nos who is he? At least explain why you're against this." Buzz knew this was hitting deep for Nos and for him, there was always a reason.
"He is, he is my brother." he pauses thinking what to say. "Buzz, I cannot explain what is going on but please?"
"Nos," Buzz was quiet, Nos knew this would put his friend in a position that could ruin him. "I-I will take the blame Buzz- I need to help him."
Buzz looked at him but stood up. "Alright new plan, when we find him-"
"We destroy him!" Savy shouted. "Get rid of this monster!"
"Nos talks to him," Buzz stops her. "We let Nos talk to him and see if he can undo the damage."
Nos felt relief, he knew Savy was enraged and glares. "You think a monster will change?!"
"Savy, Nos has proven to me that anyone can change. I trust Nos because he's my friend."
Nos smiles a bit but sees the girl unfazed and leaves.
"I cannot blame her for feeling mad at the time. She was an orphan who had parents that loved her." Nos looks deflated lying on his back on the asteroid.
"I can." XR broke the solemn moment and was firm with it. "Here you are trying to protect the only possible family that didn't want to kill you. It's not just because I like you a lot."
Nos smiled a bit but felt bad for the little girl nonetheless. "I appreciate It. I do feel bad for her, but she also did try to kill us both."
"That one?" XR asked but saw Nos shook his head.
"It was the second time."
Nos and Buzz track the energy vampire to what was deeper in the junkyard/graveyard. Nos senses Ald where as Buzz was confused his suit was jamming. They were quiet but Buzz had that look he had to ask.
"Nos."
Nos stops and looks at him.
"I know you feel the need to be responsible for him, but I'm worried about what star command," Buzz stops. "What Nebula will do."
Nos knew what he meant, he just did not want to think of that. "I can offer my freedom if it means protecting him."
"Nos you can't do that!" Buzz was shocked. "You do that and you can never leave star command. Not even in your free time."
Nos keeps moving. "I know Buzz, but I cannot let them destroy him. You know and I know Commander Nebula will not just let Ald go to prison or work it off." Nos kept moving and soon they came to see Ald was sitting and shifting a bit.
"K-k-keep it c-c-c-buzzz- control."
Nos heard him and was confused before groaning.
"Destroy him!" Zurg shouted, part of his helmet was broken
Nos, rather Ald-07, ran out away from the lab. He clung to his chest panel-
"Nos!" Buzz whispers and Nos wakes up, reminding himself where he is. "He's wounded Buzz." He places his hand over his chest. "I think when he tried to escape, he got hurt." Nos looks at Ald and floats over and flies down to see Ald controlling himself.
"Are you ok?" Ald asked but shifted as Nos got closer.
"You are wounded." Nos reaches out but Ald stops him. "Let me see the damage." Nos frowns.
"I-I'm *bzzzt* f-fine. I'm so sorry I did all that-" Ald fell and Nos helps him up and opens his panel. He paled to see his unimind cracked. Nos reached to touch it but Ald held his hand to a stop. "I-I-I only did all this, so I can finally get to m-m-m-m-meet you. L-l-l-look I'm d-d-d-d-done for. Just," he moves the claw hand to aim for the broken core.
Nos shifted and glared and raised wires to tie Ald down. Ald didn't fight but waited for the blow, but watched in shock to see his brother hold his own core out. "I will not kill you." Nos glares, using an adapter to connect the cores. "Do you realize how isolated I felt? How it is so good to know I am not alone?" Nos connects and shares the program to Ald.

Ald was quiet but sees the girl aim the cannon at them both. Ald uses his powers to raise a broken Droid to block the blast.
Nos ignored the blast, his focus was on Ald.

Nos struggled but watched Ald's core was refining and closing up the cracks. Nos smiles in relief until he is hit with a blast. He sensed it but he couldn't move out of the way. Not when it will destroy Ald's core. He struggles but Ald helps him stand and Nos sees his screen turn red. He grips his hand from shooting a blast. "Run. Go." He grunts, feeling the effect of the blast shutting his system down. "Run…. be safe…."
Nos was back online, he saw his lower form were legs but saw Buzz was helping him up.
"Oh thank goodness, you're ok." Buzz felt relief. Nos stood a bit but looked at the girl who was angry and in tears.
"How could you help him!? He drained my parents dry!" Savy cried in tears, she stood over by her parents' bodies.
Nos carefully stood and walked over, stumbling, and looked to see her parents were robots. He scans the two before his optics are wide. He found a new program in his system that was not his own. He raises his hand and shoots a blast of energy at them.
"What are you doing!?" She tries to push him away but he keeps firm to it until he feels a bit drained and stops. He ignores the hits the child gave until it stops hearing two robots were back on.
"Wh-where are we?" The father spoke.
"I remember we were cornered By a group of ruffians and then blacking out." The mother spoke
Nos hearing this, smiles a bit before he once again falls asleep.
"You keep knocking out a lot when you give up energy." XR raises a brow, he was trying to control his urge to get mad not at Nos but mad at the people who were taking from him.
"I was trying to help." Nos looks drained after telling XR everything. He could not look at XR, he can assume XR was not thrilled to hear the end.
"Nos, through that whole mission, you were giving yourself up to help them. You helped that disgruntled kid with her parents. You could have just brought them to star command- or were you afraid they would tell the commander about your little brother?" XR frowns knowing the answer. He looks and sees Nos was bothered by something. "Was this what you wanted to talk about? Or is it you feel the need to help every bot because it brings back memories we both know are triggering?"
Nos looked away, he felt it was harder than he thought. He stiffens, feeling XR hold him. "I don't read minds, it's not part of my skills. I can't understand the burden you have that's scaring you or hurting you." He holds his hand. "But please stop giving part of yourself over stuff that isn't your responsibility. Please?"
Nos listens and looks at XR's arms wrapped around him. He hugs back and hid his face into the chest. "Thank you XR."
XR didn't let go until he felt a small nudge and let's go. "Want me to give you a ride?"
Nos was going to say no but instead accepted the offer. "I want to ask if you can do me a favor?" He asks while entering the ship.
"Does it involve looking for a certain brother?" XR had a guess but he didn't mind.
"Yes and can you give this to him?" He asked, taking a letter out from his chest.
XR caught a glimpse inside of Nos's chest panel and played it cool but he felt a bit ashamed taking a peak. He couldn't help but admire the perfection inside him. "I'll see if I can find him. On one condition."
Nos assumed it was something ludicrous but XR was reasonable. "What is it?" He felt ludicrous himself for being curious to know.
"Promise me you stop hurting yourself." XR spoke. "I could ask for anything else, but I don't like you giving yourself up so much to help people. Star command is there, let them deal with it."
Nos was a bit surprised but smiled and accepted it. "I will try not to-"
"I don't like to share you with anyone." This made Nos' smile falter and raised a brow and XR grins. "I am a jealous bot Nosy, and I mean it; I hate sharing you already with lightyear and that poor excuse of justice. I tolerate it but it crosses the line when people will take advantage of you."
Nos raises a brow. "We're not dating yet," He sees XR grinning. "I only date if the partner has a legal job-"
"By the way, I opened a dealer's job. Designing weapons and selling legally was part of it right? And legally catching outlaws is also a thing."
Nos looks at him and crosses his arms, he couldn't stop his grinning. "So when does the bounty, designer, and dealer want to go out?"
"Well all three say 5pm coming on a three -day weekend. You're dating all three, I want a date for each one" He grins and hears Nos laughing. He couldn't help but enjoy listening to him. He flies him back, not too close to star command. "Alrighty, here's our stop."
Nos watches but felt XR held his hand. "Before you go, mind telling me the aftermath?"
"Buzz, told Nebula Ald attack but had escaped. Savy did not say anything but she joined the cadets scouts. I requested to not be a part of the cadets so that I was not showing favoritism."
"Was it approved? I mean not asking to know your open schedule." XR asked.
"Unfortunately it was not approved, apparently the parents like how I am a good leading role over Buzz." Nos crosses his arms.
"Well you are but I betcha there are some single moms eyeing you." XR teases Nos who shook his head and was ready to leave. Just as he got up, he felt XR's hand on his "But they better not hit on you, that's only for me." He grins and pulls his hand to kiss his palm.
Nos merely blushes darkly but controlled his feelings. "XR we both know well you'd flirt with-"
"I don't flirt with anyone unless I'm serious." XR cut him off before letting go of Nos's hand. "I will pick you up on our date, and I'll be sending this message to your little bro."
"Thank you. You are the few I can trust." Nos floats off and soon flies off to star command.
XR watches him until he enters the base ship. "The things I do for love." He said to himself but smiles knowing no matter the line between them, XR was much closer to Nos than anyone else.
Even more than Buzz Lightyear.
XR grumbles as he flies off but his mind was on Nos. He wished Nos didn't stick to being a space ranger, not because of the one sided good bullzonks. But because he could do so much better than that. He hopes the day nos sees that, is the day he leaves. "And I'll be right there waiting for him." He smiles but how to push that was the question. He shook it off and continued to his first destination before his job.
XR makes a landing on the Galactic Alliance planet or whatever it's called but he landed nearby a small town where it was more Nos's style, of course it's one of the three ideas he has up but he's here on a delivery. He makes his way to see a certain robot fixing a generator to a cafe. It wasn't a surprise the robot knew him, but he felt a bit guilty that he didn't tell Nos that he already found Ald.
"Hey there brother in-law!" XR grins.
Ald turns his direction to XR before dismissing him as he talks to the owner of the store before waving off and crosses his arms at him. "You know you're not married to my brother-"
"Yet Aldi, and hey when I do, he'll be leaving that dump of a base and living here." XR grins taking out a letter.
"Until Zurg is gone, that's unlikely. Besides, Nos did so much for me, I don't know how to thank him." Ald looks away.
"Speaking of that handsome vampire, he asked me to find you and give you this." He holds it out but Ald nearly rips it out and opens it as if it was the greatest Christmas gift. He watches and sees Ald reading and soon he is leaking water through the sides of his screen. "He cares about me even after all of that."
"This is Nos, he cares alot. Even to some who don't deserve it." He mumbles before clearing his throat. "So any news you got?"
"Yes and you honestly think this will work?" He asked.
"Aldi," XR crosses his arms, "I rather have Nos work anywhere than star command, better yet, have a really better reason to leave that dump. Besides, don't you want Nos safe away from there? Where is he guaranteed real safety from that nut case?"
Ald nodded. "There's rumors around in tradeworld, that star command is secretly trying to hack into Nos-4-a2 systems to copy and override his control systems. And…. There are two other energy vampires that also exist. One is out casted in the deserted galaxy point, the other is in a planet called Transylvanaria planet. This energy vampire also seems to know about Nos. He wants Nos, and I want to destroy him."

"We both do but again we need to solve the problems first." XR felt he hit the jackpot! But there were three problems to deal with.

Getting the proof star command is a total piece of work
But the biggest problem: team lightyear.
"Firstly, I need proof because star command can dismiss it and Nos's team will only reel him back."
"Why not split them away from Nos?" Ald retorted.
"No, as much as I hate Lightyear, they have been good to him and if we try to put a wedge there, it'll be thrown back at us. They're thicker than uraniacum goo. Besides I tried that, he almost hated me for it. So, how about we use them to get Nos to leave?"
"I don't follow." Ald spoke.
"Nos trusts them, they are protective of him. If we lure them to find out the truth, they will either try to stop the project or…?"
"Have him leave for his safety." Ald was a bit surprised by the idea. "What about the vampire?"
"We're gonna have to get more intel." XR answers. "It'll be rough but with our skills we can pull it off. For now you need to keep low and not get into trouble." He hums thinking where to start before it dawns on him. "Ald, where did you learn about the two energy vampires?"

XR hummed before he knew what to do. "Guess I gotta pay Zurg a visit." He smirks. "But before I go, here." He hands him something and Ald takes it but is confused.
"It's a simple gigamig called a randometer. It keeps you from being detected. Call it a gift from your awesome brother-in-law."
Ald sees him leave and looks at the gadget. He sees it has Nos' name on it but doesn't recall Nos having it. This was either for Nos or XR figured he needed it more. Either way he accepted the gadget.
XR flew off already having a plan in the making. He is going to win over Nos but he ain't letting some sleazy old robot take what is his!
