Chapter 5 The Red and Black Swordsmen

In the castle of Radiant Garden Ansem the Wise and his apprentices were looking at the computer to watch over Sora and Kirito, along with the other players of S.A.O.

"Well, nothing strange has happened yet." Even said.

"It's been a few weeks and there hasn't been traces of any bugs or the man in black." Ansem said.

"Everything seems to be going just fine."Ienzo said.

"Hey I'm finding a few players on Floor 35 in the Lost Forest" Even said.

"Let's see what's going on." Ansem said.

So Ansem typed up on the computer to see what's going on that floor. Then he found 5 players,3 of them were in the same armor but with different colors. The other player a female, Rosalia had with purple eyes deep, glossy, flame-red hair kept in wild curls a flock of which covers her right eye with lips of the same color. She wears black armor that shines like enamel and wields a slim, cross-shaped spear. She also wears an earring on her left ear.

The last one is the youngest of the group, Her name is Silica she's known as a Beast Tamer by having her own dragon named Pina, with its light blue body covered in soft, pale blue feathers and two long feathers instead of a tail. Silica had red eyes and light brown hair tied into two tails by two red ring baubles. She wore a yellow robe with a dagger and pouch strapped to her waist at the back, a silver breastplate and pauldrons, brown leather gloves with metal bands, black shorts, and yellow boots.

"What are you talking about? Why should we have to share these healing crystals with you? Your pet lizard has healing powers you know." Rosalia said.

"But you never fight on the front lines so who are you to talk? You don't need to use any crystals." Silica said.

"Of course. I do, you're the popular one here Silica I can't except the boys to help me when I need it." Rosalia said.

"Oh come on, it's not like that." One of the players said, trying to lighten the situation.

"Fine! You want my items take them, but I'm never gonna team with you again! I know there are a ton of parties who'd love to have me on their team!" Silica said as she stormed off with Pina by her side.

"Wait don't go, Silica!" The other player said.

In the castle Ansem and his apprentices watched the whole scene unfold.

"How come Rosalia is so greedy?" Even said.

"In her mind, the world she's in is nothing but a game. So she can do whatever she wants in it with no real consequences." Ansem said.

"What she fails to learn her actions are real, if she does what she does in this world. It'll effect what she does in the real world." Even said.

"I just hope her greed doesn't lure in the man black to manipulate her." Ienzo said.

"We'll have to keep an eye on her, to make sure she doesn't get consumed by darkness." Ansem said.

Meanwhile back in S.A.O Silica ran into a little trouble with some monsters on the floor she was on and her health bar was yellow. But Pina healed her health just enough to turn green, but when she reached for her healing crystals, she had no more. Then one of the monsters swung her into a tree and her health went down to turned red. But as one of the monsters was about to land the finishing blow, Pina flew in and took the hit for her.

"Pina…Pina…Pina!" Silica shouted as she watched Pina glow white and disappear, leaving behind only a single feather.

As Silica started crying over the loss of her friend, the monsters rushed in attempting to end her life. But the monsters were all killed in a single blow, by two players who were standing in front of her, Sora and Kirito. But Silica was still crying over the loss of her friend.

"Pina…Pina… don't leave me all alone." Pina said, holding the feather and crying.

"Hey, what's that feather?"Kirito asked.

"It's Pina… my best… friend." Silica said crying.

"You're one of those Beast Tamers aren't you?" Kirito asked.

"What's a Beast Tamer?" Sora asked.

"It's a player that's capable of taming a beast in any game." Kirito said.

"Cool… Wait… then that was your… I'm so sorry if we got here faster we would've saved your friend" Sora said feeling sorry for her friend.

"No… it's my fault. I was stupid to think I could make it through the forest on my own. Thank you for saving me… you did what you could." Silica said, still crying.

"That feather, check and see if it has an item name attached to it." Kirito said.

Pina clicked on the feather, and it had an item name on it (Pina's Heart) and she once again started to cry.

"Hey it's alright, that means Pina can be revived." Sora said.

"No way Really?!" Silica asked in excitement.

"On the south side of Floor 47, there's a field dungeon called the hill of memories. We heard somewhere the flower growing at the top can revive familiars." Kirito said.

"Floor 47 huh?" Silica asked, knowing her level isn't strong enough for that floor on her own.

"We'd get for you, but the flower won't bloom without the familiar's master being there." Sora explained.

"Thank you so much for telling me about this! If I work hard to raise my level someday I can…" Silica said, with new found confidence, until Kirito told her some more information on the flower.

"Sure but the time limit is three days to revive it." Kirito said.

"No way…it's all my fault… I'm so sorry Pina." Silica said with remorse.

"Don't worry, you got three days, there's still a chance to save your friend." Sora said.

"He's right, here take this equipment it should boost you five or six levels and if we tag along then everything will work out." Kirito said.

"But, why would you two do all this for me?" Silica asked.

"I know what it feels like when a friend is in danger, so I want to help you save your friend." Sora said.

"Thanks, what about you?" Silica asked, looking up at Kirito.

"I'll tell you, but only if you promise not to laugh, both of you." Kirito said.

"I promise I won't." Silica said.

"Me too."Sora said.

"Alright… it's because you look like my little sister." Kirito said, putting his hand over his face.

But after that Silica started to laugh, even Sora was having a hard time to contain his laugh.

"Sorry… I shouldn't laugh" Sora said, sounding a little guilty that he laughed.

"Yeah I'm sorry to. Um I know this isn't enough coal to pay the two of you back." Silica said.

" You don't have to pay us back we're, happy to help." Sora said.

"He's right, besides it works with why we're here, we'll be helping each other out" Kirito said.

" Okay then, my names Silica." Silica said.

"I'm Sora." Sora said.

"My names Kirito, I guess the the three of us will be working together." Kirito said.

Then the three players left the forest and entered the town named Mishe. But while they walked two players ran up to them.

" Hey look it's Silica!" The lengthy player with pink clothing said.

"It took you a long time to get back we were getting worried." The chubby player with green clothing said.

"You wanna team up with us? We'll take you wherever you wanna go." The lengthy player with pink clothing said.

"That's really nice of you to offer but… I sort of agreed to be in a party with these to" Silica said, holding Sora and Kirito's arms. Then the two players gave them the death stare.

"Kay later bye!" Silica said, as the three players walked away.

"I didn't mean to put you two on the spot like that." Silica said.

"It's alright, but I didn't know you were so popular around here." Sora said.

"No, they don't take me seriously they want me to be their mascot. Maybe they're right, they called me Dragon Tamer and I guess, it got to my head." Silica said sounding sad.

"Don't worry, we'll get there in time I promise." Kirito assured Silica with his hand on her hand.

"Okay!" Silica said, sounding a lot more cheerful.

"Do you guys live around here?" Silica asked.

"We live on Floor 50 but it's pretty far so we decided on getting a room for the night." Kirito said.

"If you guys stay, I'll take you two out for some cheesecake it's really good here!" Silica said.

"Sounds good to me." Sora said.

"Well if it isn't Silica. Wow, you made it out of the forest alive good for you." Rosalia said.

"Is something wrong?" Kirito asked.

"Oh no it's nothing."Silica said.

"Hang on, what happened to your friend the lizard? Did it run away?" Rosalia asked.

"Pina died saving me… But I'm going to get Pina back!" Silica said.

"Well then I guess you'll be heading for the field of memories, I wonder if you'll be able to clear it at your level." Rosalia said, trying to put Silica down.

"Of course she will, it's not that difficult to level up." Kirito said.

"Oh boy, she's seduced two more players. No it's not difficult but you two don't look that strong." Rosalia said.

"Hey, we're a lot stronger then you think." Sora said, feeling insulted on her comment on them.

"Relax Sora, come on let's get going." Kirito said, as the three players walked into the restaurant for the cheesecake.

"Why does she have to be so mean?" Silica asked.

"A lot of players personalities change when they play online, and some actually like playing the game as the bad guy. You see how the curser above our head is green, well if you commit a crime against another player your curser will turn orange. Then they become what's called a red player, the worst also known as player killers they're about murder." Kirito said.

"(Gasp)They kill other players!" Silica said, surprised about hearing players kill other players.

"In a normal game they role play as the bad guy, have some laughs and it's cool. But Sword Art Online isn't normal… it's definitely not a game." Kirito said.

"But why would players even want to kill each other here? Don't they know that if you die here you'll die in real life?" Sora asked.

"I guess there are some who don't believe you'll really die in real life, others don't care at all and just kill for the thrill of the sport. This is definitely not a game." Kirito said.

"Well I think you guys are good, I mean you both saved me after all." Silica said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Looks like Sora's not the only one who knows how to cheer me up. Thank you, Silica." Kirito said.

"Uh… well where the heck is our cheesecake already. Excuse me! Our desert hasn't shown up yet!" Silica said.

After they ate, they went to the Inn to get a good night sleep. But as Silica took her clothes off and was getting ready for a good nights sleep, there was a knock on her door.

"Silica are you still awake?" Kirito asked.

"K-Kirito?" Silica asked.

"Sora and I forgot to tell you some stuff on Floor 47, but it can wait till tomorrow." Kirito said.

"No now's fine actually I just thinking I could ask you about…" Silica said, but immediately stopped talking when she realized she didn't have any clothes on, so she quickly opened up her main menu and putted her clothes back on then she opened the door for Sora and Kirito.

'That was so close.' Silica thought to herself, as Kirito was placing a sphere-shape yellow device with an intricate design on its sides and a shining crystal ball inside on the desk.

"Is something wrong Silica?" Sora asked.

"Oh nothing! What's that thing do Kirito?" Silica asked.

"It's a mirage sphere." Kirito said.

Kirito pressed on the button and activated, the sphere split into two, with the top half rising and leaving behind a column of light. Once the top part of the sphere stopped rising, five panels opened up from the sides of the top of the sphere and the column of light changed into a sphere, forming a holographic map.

"It's pretty." Silica said, amazed by what's she's seeing.

"This is where we are, and way over there is the Hill of Memories." Sora explained.

"We decided that if we take this path it'll…"Kirito said, but stopped as he stopped as he and Sora heard something strange.

"Did you you hear that?" Sora asked.

"Yeah…(then Kirito runs to the door and slams it open) WHO'S THERE?!" Kirito shouted as the person eavesdropping on them disappeared.

"Who was it?" Silica asked.

"An eavesdropper…" Kirito said.

"But you can't. You can't listen to a door unless you knock first." Silica said.

"But if you raise your listening skill high enough you can, but it takes practice and not many people have it." Sora explained.

"But why would they want to listen to us." Silica asked.

Sora and Kirito couldn't give an answer to that question, why would anyone want to eavesdrop on them? 'I don't know what that guy wants, but if he heard what we said we'd better be careful when we head out.' Sora said.

The next day the three players teleported to Floor 47 in a place called Floria, and it was filled with lots of flowers. Silica was wearing a red robe of a similar to her yellow outfit that exposed part of her shoulders, a short black skirt, fingerless red gloves, and black, asymmetrical shoes with long black socks.

"This place is like a dream!" Silica said.

"I know, this place is filled with flowers, that's why they call it the Flower Garden." Kirito said.

Sora and Silica admired the scenery of the flower garden, to Sora it reminded him of Radiant Garden with the flowers and peaceful environment. They also couples on the floor enjoying themselves in the Flower Garden. Silica's face turned red when she realized she was in between both Sora and Kirito. Sora was thinking of a certain someone who would love to be here.

'I wish Kairi was here, she would have loved to be here… with me.' Sora thought to himself.

"Uhh guys are you alright?" Kirito asked.

"Huh, oh yeah I'm good."Sora answered.

"Yeah I'm fine." Silica answered.

"Alright, let's go." Kirito said.

"Right behind you." Sora said.

"Yeah! Me to! Silica said.

Then when the three players were on a bridge Kirito handed Silica a teleport crystal.

"What's that for?" Silica asked.

"If anything go wrong me or Kirito will tell you to warp out. If that happens use the crystal to teleport to a town out of harms way." Sora explained.

"But…" Silica tried to argue against it, until Kirito spoke up.

"No buts use it." Kirito said.

"I understand." Silica said, sounding a little sad but knows they just want to keep her safe.

But as the three players started walking to the Hill of Memories a monster called Garish Gerbera with appearance of a gigantic flower, standing up by using its roots, with a dark green stem about as thick as a human arm. The head of the flower appears to be a yellow sunflower with a wide mouth and several teeth. And two vines sprouting from either side of its body that it uses similar to how animals user their arms, used its roots to grab Silica by her ankles and hold her upside down, then it opened its mouth threatening to eat her. Silica held her skirt up and frantically swung her dagger around while screaming in fear. Sora tried to help her but Kirito grabbed the hood on his jacket.

"Relax Sora, she can handle it, it's not that strong." Kirito said.

"HELP GUYS SAVE ME! BUT DON'T LOOK! SAVE ME BUT DON'T LOOK!" Silica shouted, still keeping her skirt up because she's upside down, while frantically swinging her dagger.

"That'll be… difficult." Kirito said, with his hand over his eyes.

"You can say that again." Sora said, with his hands over his eyes.

"Darn you! Put me down! Now!" Silica shouted, as she freed herself from the monster's grip and stabbed it right on it's head as it disappeared.

"Did you see anything?" Silica asked.

"Nope." Sora said.

"Not really." Kirito said.

Then the three players walked on to Hill of Memories, while taking out nearby monsters in the area.

"I hope you don't mind me asking but, what's you sister like?" Silica asked.

"Why do you want to know?" Kirito asked.

"You said I looked like her, I know it's not polite to ask about your real life but… what's she like?" Silica asked.

"Yeah, I was wondering about that to Kirito, you did mention you had a sister." Sora said.

"I call her my little sister but she's really my cousin. We were raised like brother and sister since we were babies so I doubt she knows but I know, and I guess that's the reason I avoided her. Our grandfather's really strict, when I was eight he made us take classes at the local kendo dojo. But after a couple years I stopped going, grandpa beat up pretty badly because of it." Kirito said.

"That's awful." Silica said.

"I'm sorry you went through that." Sora said.

"Anyway, then my sister stood up for me and told her to stop, she told him she'd train hard for both of us. And she did, she trained hard she even made it to the Nationals." Kirito said.

"She did how awesome." Silica said.

"Yeah, she must be really good." Sora said.

"Yeah, I always felt guilty for putting her through that, I wouldn't doubt it if she hates me God knows she could be doing something else. Maybe that's why I wanted to help you, in a weird way it makes me feel that I'm paying her back. There it is." Kirito said, as they were closer to the Hill of Memories.

"I don't think your sister hates you Kirito, she wouldn't stand up for if she didn't care about you." Sora said, putting his hands behind his head.

"He's right, besides I bet she loves loves Kendo." Silica said.

"There you go again making me feel better, maybe your right. Man I hope so." Kirito said, feeling a little happier.

"Hey what about you Sora what's your family like? If you don't mind me asking." Silica said.

"Well I live on an island with my mom." Sora asked.

"You live on an island?" Kirito asked.

"What about your dad?" Silica asked.

"One yes I really do live on an island, and as for my dad. One day he left for a voyage out to sea, but he never made it back." Sora said, sounding a little sad

"Oh I'm sorry man." Kirito said.

"Sorry… I didn't mean to bring it up." Silica said.

"It's alright, but I guess it's all the more reason why mom was so worried when I was away from my island for a year." Sora said.

"Hold up! You were away from your home and family for an entire year?!" Kirito exclaimed.

"How did you even survive!?" Silica asked.

"Well…" as Sora tells his story on how he left the island and back, he made sure to be careful not to mention any other worlds out there. He mentioned how he and friends wanted to see the world beyond his island and they made a raft. But instead of a big dark storm destroying the island and causing them to be separated, Sora altered the story a little. Saying when a storm happened on the day they were out at sea, storm happened causing everyone to get separated. Then he altered his wording in his story so that he doesn't tell them that he's from another world, or his battles across worlds.

After he told his story of his little adventure Kirito and Silica were surprised and amazed. Silica was amazed by his story on how he traveled to so many places, while still so young. Kirito was impressed on how he was able to survive being away from his home. But, he had a feeling there was something in the story he wasn't telling them. But he decided to brush that off for another time.

"Man, I didn't know you went through such a long journey to get back home." Kirito said.

"Yeah! I bet your mother was really happy to see you!" Silica said.

"Yeah, but my island doesn't feel like the home it once was." Sora said.

"Why's that?" Silica asked.

"Well I'm happy I made it home but it feels different… I'm not the same person I was before I left. It's just I wish that my mom understood that. It's been a few months since I came back and she still treats me like the little kid I was before I left. So after awhile I just decided to live on my own on the island." Sora said.

"You ran away from home?" Kirito asked.

"I wouldn't say run away it's just… it's I'm starting to feel a little out of place at home. It's not the island that's different it's me. I guess I just felt I'm better off on my own until I find out how I fit in." Sora said.

"I know how it feels to think we don't fit in somewhere. When I found out that we weren't actually sisters, I started avoiding her. But after being in S.A.O for sometime I'm starting to feel bad that I avoided her. She stood up for me against my grandfather and I didn't even say thank you. All I can say is… don't make the same mistake I made. Maybe your mom doesn't understand, but you shouldn't avoid her. She hasn't seen you in a long time, so maybe she's just trying to make it seem like you never left in the first place." Kirito said.

Sora thought about this and started to feel guilty, he didn't explain what happened to him over the year. His mother just wanted their relationship to go back to where it was before he left. He knew it was time to tell her the truth about what really happened to him when he was gone for a year. And why he left the island again a few months after he came back.

"Your right. Once I log out I'll explain everything to her." Sora said, feeling a little better.

"Good." Kirito said.

"That's amazing." Silica said.

But then as they kept moving a monster called Land Anemone with an appearance of a large purple sea anemone with numerous pink colored tentacles, rose up from underneath Silica and grabbed her into its tentacles. But Sora and Kirito destroyed it with one swing of their weapons. Then the three players walked on and reached the the Hill of Memories.

"Is that reviving flower around here?" Silica asked.

"Yeah. Over there." Kirito said, as he pointed to the end of the road.

Silica ran up ahead to the end of the road, and the flower bloomed in front of her.

"Go on take it." Kirito said.

So Silica took it and an item name Pneuma Flower appeared.

"You sure it'll bring Pina back to life?" Silica asked.

"Uh huh." Kirito answered.

"I'm so glad" Silica said.

"There a few monsters out in the open, let's revive Pina when we get back." Sora said.

"Okay" Silica said.

So the three players were heading back, but Sora and Kirito stepped in front of Silica.

"Is something wrong?" Silica asked.

"Who ever is hiding in there come out now!" Kirito said.

Then Rosalia came out with her cross shaped spear in her hand.

"Rosalia?" Silica asked surprised to see her here.

"If you saw through my hiding skills so easy your detection skills must be really high swordsman. Oooh looks like you were successful in getting your hands on the Pneuma Flower congratulations. Now had it over before you get hurt." Rosalia said.

"What are you talking about?" Silica asked.

"We aren't giving you anything Rosalia or the orange guild, or should I call it Titans Hand? You're the leader right?" Sora asked.

"Nice…"Rosalia said.

"But Rosalia's curser is green." Silica said.

"It's an easy trick. The green members find their victims, then they lure them to the orange players for the ambush." Kirito explained.

"Then the player eavesdropping on us was one of party members wasn't it?" Sora asked.

"Then… the reason you were in that party with me was to…" Silica said.

"How perceptive, I was observing their strength and watching them earn all that beautiful money. (After she said that she licked her lips.) You were who I was most excited about, and I was so sad when you left the party. But then you told me you were getting a rare item, but what I want to know is why did you two bring her here? Are you dumb or does she have you wrapped around her finger?" Rosalia asked.

"Neither, you see we were actually looking all over for you Rosalia." Sora said.

"What are you talking about?" Rosalia asked.

"Remember ten days ago, you attacked a guild called the Silver Flags? The leader survived, four didn't." Kirito explained.

"Oh the losers with no money." Rosalia said not caring for what she did.

"The leader went back and forth from the warp point to the frontlines, morning to night and with tears in his eyes he begged everyone he met to avenge his dead friends. But he didn't want you killed, he wanted you to go to prison. Don't you know the pain and suffering you caused him? And for what because you're greedy?!" Sora exclaimed.

"Can't say I do, only idiots take this seriously. So what if we kill someone here, there's no proof dying here means your dead IRL. Anyway it's time you started worrying about yourselves." Rosalia said as she snapped her fingers, and a bunch of red players appeared from behind her.

"Guys there's to many of them we should get outta here." Silica said.

"Don't worry it's okay, you'll be safe if you stay here. Keep the crystal handy till we say so." Kirito said.

"Okay… Sora! Kirito!" Silica said still worried about them.

"Wait Sora? Kirito? Dressed in red and black one handed no shield, one with spiky hair and a key shaped sword, no way it's the red and black swordsmen. Rosalia, those two are the Hacker and the Beater who fight together on the frontlines. They're with the assault team!" One of the red players said.

"No way they are?" Silica asked in amazement. By

"Why would two players on the assault team be all the way down here? Go on take them out and take everything they own!" Rosalia commanded.

"DIE!" The red players said as they readied their weapons and ruthlessly attacked Sora and Kirito.

They're health bars were going down fast, Silica wanted to help but she knew she was no match for them. But she noticed something strange, as Sora and Kirito's health bars were depleting it went all the way back to full health.

"What are you doing you idiots! Kill then already!"Rosalia commanded.

"Four hundred and ten seconds give or take, that's about the total damage the seven of you can inflict on us. We're on level 78 we, got 14,500 HP our battle healing skill auto regenerates 600 points every 10 seconds." Kirito said.

"We can stand here all day and you wouldn't even lay a scratch on us." Sora said with a smug look on his face.

"That's impossible" one of the red players said.

"Wanna bet? If you're numbers are high enough you're invincible. MMO's that use leaving systems are unfair that way. (As Kirito stars talking he holds up a big teleport crystal in front of him.) Our client spent his entire fortune on this and he'll get his moneys worth. It's been sent to the coordinates of the prison, and that's where all of you will be sent to?" Kirito said.

"We'll see about that! Let's hope that this rare item that black robbed player gave me is as powerful as he says…" Rosalia said as she holds up a bug block in her hand..

"Wait… how did?!" Sora said.

Then Rosalia plugged it in her chest and darkness rises up below her and drowns her in it. Then when the darkness disappeared, Rosalia then turned into a creature with her hair growing more wild and out of control. With her weapon in one hand and her other hand becoming like a bears paw with giant claws and her eyes turn yellow. Lastly the heartless emblem appeared on her chest, meaning that Rosalia has turned into a heartless.

"Did Rosalia turn into a heartless!?" Kirito asked in shock.

"I'm afraid so, she's submit herself to the darkness in her heart." Sora said.

"What's a heartless?" Silica asked.

"I'll explain later, right now you need to get out of here." Sora said.

"But what about you and Kirito?" Silica asked.

"We'll be fine just teleport to a safe town away from here, we'll come for you later." Sora said.

"Okay…"Silica said, still worried about her friends as she teleported to a town away from the danger.

"Kirito take the players to the prison!" Sora said.

"What no way…" Kirito before Sora interrupted him.

"NOW KIRITO!" Sora shouted.

So Kirito teleported the red players to the prison leaving Sora alone with the heartless. Sora and the heartless engaged in a very tough battle. The heartless ruthlessly swung its cross shaped spear and it's claws at Sora. Sora was able to move fast enough to block its attacks but he was having a hard time trying to attack it. So Sora unlocked his sword skill ars arcanum to unleash a fury of faster attacks to land a few hits on the heartless. But then the heartless unleashed a sword skill to attack Sora, he tried to block but it was to strong he was sent flying into a tree. Sora's health bar then turned red, one more hit from the heartless and it's game over. But right when the heartless is about to attack, Kirito jumps in and uses a sword skill to hit heartless on it's eyes, stopping its attack.

"Sora! Are you alright?!" Kirito said.

"I'm fine. But my health is low." Sora said.

"Rest up I can hold her off." Kirito said as he rushed off to fight the heartless.

Sora used his healing crystal to put his health bar back to the color green then rushed out to help Kirito. Kirito was having a hard time holding off the heartless attacks. But right as it was about to activate a sword skill to attack Kirito, Sora rushed in and attacked the heartless stunning it, with the heartless wide open Kirito used a sword skill to send the heartless flying.

"Thanks…" Kirito said.

"No problem… if we use our sword skills more we can tire it out." Sora said.

"Got it." Kirito said.

Then the heartless appeared right in front of them with its cross shaped spear and claws bright red and it charged at the players ruthlessly attacking them.

"Since when can heartless use sword skills?!" Kirito asked.

"The heartless's form and powers come from the darkness in someone's heart. The stronger the darkness in someone's heart, the more powerful the heartless is." Sora said.

"You've got to be kidding." Kirito said quietly.

The heartless ruthlessly used it's sword skills on Sora and Kirito, but they were able to use their sword skills to defend themselves from it's attacks. But they had an idea, the heartless also looked tired from using it's sword skills. So Sora and Kirito blocked its rapid attacks, and used their sword skills to overwhelm the heartless. Lastly, Sora used a new sword skill he uses in the real world areal slam, to hit the heartless in the air and sham it down to the ground destroying it. After all that Sora and Kirito found Silica in a near by town and they all went back to the Inn on Floor 35.

"Sorry we got you involved in that Silica with that heartless and those red players." Sora said sounding very apologetic.

"Yeah, the whole time we were using you as bait to catch them. We thought you'd be scared if you found out the truth about us." Kirito said.

" I could never be scared of you two because you're good people. Umm do guys really have to go." Silica said.

"Yeah sorry, but we really need to go back we've been away for five days." Sora said.

"I… I think it's cool you guys are in the assault team, I could try for 100 years and never make it." Silica said.

"You know levels are just numbers, and a person's strength in this world is just an illusion. Sure it's cool and all but there are more important things than that." Kirito said.

"Yeah, it's important to not lose sight on what truly matters, like our friends and family here and in the real world. Hey how about this, once the game is cleared the three of us should meet up." Sora said.

"I like that idea, I like having you guys as friends to." Kirito said.

"Okay we will I promise." Silica said.
