What if Draco was in love with Hermione as soon as he set his eyes on her? When Hermione helps Neville look for his toad, Draco cannot take his eyes off her.

Draco did not care that she had buck-rowed teeth and bushy hair. To him, she was gorgeous.

Platform 9 and 3/4

Draco, Crabbe and Goyle entered the compartment, dumping their cases onto the seat. Draco grabbed his trunk, heaving it into the overhead compartment. Crabbe and Goyle stood around, looking around cluelessly, first at their trunks, then at Draco, and finally at themselves. Draco facepalmed. "Just put the trunks in the overhead compartment," he said.

Crabbe and Goyle looked at their trunks, shrugging. Draco looked at the two burly goons in front of him. "Are you stupid?" he asked. "Put your cases in the overhead compartment!" Crabbe grabbed his trunk, hurling it into the overhead compartment. Goyle grabbed his trunk, putting it in the overhead compartment. Draco sighed, his platinum-blonde glimmering in the sunlight that filtered through the window. He looked at his watch; it was 11 am. The train began to move slowly out of King's Cross Station. He looked out of the window sadly. His parents didn't care about him; no one cared about him. He only had these two goons that his father made him hang out with.

Whispers of that Harry Potter was on the train soon reached him. Draco raised his eyebrow. He stood up just as the Trolley Witch came by.

"Anything from the Trolley, dears?" she asked.

Crabbe and Goyle stood up like zombies, making their way to the trolley, licking their lips, grabbing as much food as they could hold between them. 10 minutes later, a girl with buck-rowed teeth, brown, bushy hair, brown eyes, and light skin came in with a miserable, overweight boy. "Has anyone seen a toad?" she asked in a bossy sort of tone. Draco looked up at her; the girl made eye contact with him. He could not take his eyes off her; even if she looked at Crabbe, Goyle, or the fat boy, something was about her. His fair skin went red as he looked away shyly. "Sorry," gulped Draco, overcoming his shyness. "No toad here."

Crabbe looked at Draco. "Ooh, Malfoy has a crush!"

"I do not!" retorted Draco. "I heard Potter is in the last compartment. Come."

Draco stood up, walking out of the compartment, Crabbe and Goyle following suit. He swaggered into the last compartment. "So it's true, then," he said. "It's you."

The boy with jet-black hair and green eyes looked up. "Yes," he said coldly.

Draco looked at the redhead beside Harry. "Red hair, hand-me-down clothes, why you must be a Weasley!"

The redhead looked at his feet shamefully. "I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy," said Draco. "And these are my lackeys, Crabbe and Goyle."

Goyle leered at the redhead. The redhead's rat grabbed Goyle's hand, biting it hard.

"OWWWWWWWWWWW!" shouted Goyle as the 2 boys were laughing hard.

Draco snapped his fingers coldly. "Come," he said. Goyle shook off the rat, clutching his hand as they returned to their compartment.

Time passed faster than they expected. "First-years, please leave your belongings on board. Staff will collect them and take them to your dorms."

Draco got off the train, Crabbe and Goyle trailing behind. he shoved past Harry as they got into a boat.

The giant with the black beard and hair looked at the first years, "Everyone ready?" he asked.

Draco rowed as fast he could, speeding past Harry.

When they reached land, they clambered onto shore into the castle.

"Firs' years, Professor McGonagall," said the giant.
