Chapter Fourteen – Charge
The Multiverse – The Greater Cosmos
He came through an almighty tear in the cosmos, bringing a deep mist of foreboding, and a thick white fog of dread. Bemused, he went straight for the Multiverse, and began ripping it to pieces, the behemoth stronger then anything they'd ever face. The Titans, without Sukko, charged out into the cosmos. Manic, riding on the back of the giant Blue Dragon, Archie, exploded out onto deep space. But after a mild panic, he realised, he could breath normally, lovely and warm, the cosmos feeling around him, like he was stood on any of the numerous versions Mobius's below. Even Saffie was amazed, as they nodded to each other.
It was a sharp stark contrast to their last visit. Manic smirked, as he grabbed the Archie's reins, surging the blue Dragon forwards. He heaved, unable to believe what he was riding.
"Nice one, Bro." He beamed, but also, he was worried. He knew Sukko wasn't well when they left, but right now, they had their own problems.
Cthulhu.
Everything they had ever thought about his monstrosity, all they had ever believed, were completely dwarfed by the sheer mountainous scale of his incredibly hideous features. About ten times the size of the entire Multiverse itself, put together, and a hundred times the size of each of the Titans, he had the immense power to wipe out the whole mass of planets, with one singular swipe of his wing. His enormously large, deep, dark mucky green, smooth head, sloped down to two horizontal slips, which opened up to large, cold scarlet red eyes. This was followed by no mouth and a disgusting beard of long, twisting, octopus-like tentacles. This deep shoulders, long muscular arms, with long, super sharp, clawed fingers, either a intensely muscled torso. Incredibly vast, somewhat torn, hooked dragon-like wings, sprouted from his shoulders, his were currently being flapped hard to keep the bringer of nightmares steady.
He had gigantic dirty cloth wrapped around his pelvis and groin, and long muscular legs, and three toed feet, dangling out the back, no tail. The enormous tear across the cosmos was behind him, opening up to some otherworldly, hideous dimension beyond.
But all was not well as the geology of the Greater Cosmos began to warp, angles become distorted as everything become different as the topology changed. The Multiverse began to get elongated somewhat as deep space began to twist.
For a nanosecond, Cthulhu and the Titans all looked at each other, across no man's land, until all of the Hedgehogs suddenly flinched, holding their heads, as the monster tried to invade their minds, only for it to immediately stop, as they all saw blue right in front of their eyes.
A very familiar blue.
Shads smirked, steering himself towards the brothers.
"That wretched fiend is trying to telepathically control us. Sukko has used his Magic to block him, but his shield is only temporary. If that monstrosity tries again, it will certainly come down." He heaved. But Manic, grabbing Archie hard, just growled.
"Well then, let's not give him the chance." He hissed, and kicking the Dragon hard, he charged straight at Cthulhu, immediately with the other two following him.
The Great Old One was impressed. That was the second time his almighty telepathy had been thwarted. He could have just mentally have charged those nuisance flies down, as that's all they were to him, size wise, and put enough power behind his telepathy to literally fry their brains. But this new challenger had intrigued him. Never had anyone been able to almost telepathically match him, but as this petty trio of would-be soldiers charged him, he was beginning to feel that his new rival was not among them.
But if he pushed them to the side, then maybe his invisible, extremely impressive challenger, may show himself. Cthulhu cocked his head to the side, and narrowed his deep red eyes, as his nuisance flies stormed towards him. He smirked.
Alright. He'll play with you, especially if it brings the real warrior out from the shadows. He heaved, and looked around. He had no idea where he was, nor did he care. He saw the humongous tear on the greater cosmos, behind him, going from horizon to horizon, and his incredibly beloved and beautiful home beyond. Now he was just extremely angry at the audacity of whomever made such a scar, interrupting his perfect slumber, as it tore across the sky, waking him. He'd charged straight through the tear, but now looking for something to destroy.
The Multiverse.
It's unusual arrangement intrigued him. At first. But when he successfully worked out what exactly it was, he couldn't have care less. He just starting grabbing planets, entire dimensions, in his hands, and began crushed them to dust, inside his palms, within seconds. He smirked with pure evil glee, at the split nanosecond screams, as all life in those dimensions, were instantaneously snubbed out.
Suddenly, Cthulhu surged his wings, forcing himself into the heart of the Multiverse, and began pulling the lines of planets apart, from where they naturally lay, in their intermingled mess. The monstrosity's brutality snapped many of the lines, destroyed numerous dimensions, and flung many out into the Greater Cosmos, to never to seen again, to almost certainly perish.
A singular dimension needs the intense stability of others around it, to survive. Hence the Multiverse, otherwise it was just collapse in on itself. Pocket dimensions don't exist out in the Greater Cosmos. It's too brutal out there, and the gravity just to strong. Without another dimension to cling on to. Or at a serious push, a sun, like the Sol Empire, if the dynamics were absolutely perfect, then the singular dimension was just simply implode, killing everyone in it.
Cthulhu, upon seeing the Multiverse, and in his immense evil joy, he was having in destroying it. Taking the millions of lives in his literal hands, he forgot about his anger, and was enjoying himself, before he was so rudely interrupted.
The Titans charged him, but they hadn't realised at the true extent of the damage the Great Old One had caused until they got to the heart of the Multiverse, where he was hovering, and saw the place in utter tatters.
Broken planets, and smashed dimensions lay everywhere, and the loss of life, just unbearable. Manic cried his heart out, Saffie growled, but Shads's temper just exploded. He growled hard, as he surged towards Cthulhu and swung the almighty Storm-breaker at him.
The axe landed with bang, and actually caused Great Old One to flinch, but nothing happened. The axe just sliced through the skin and flesh, which instantaneous healed straight afterwards, leaving Shads, with nothing. He only narrowing avoided having a hand trying to swat him. Soon, Saffie and Manic snapped out of their grief, and also went for the monstrosity, only for both their fire, Dragon claws and bite attacks were brushed off as nothing.
Cthulhu shrugged. If that was the best those nuisance flies could do, then he was much more interested in ripping apart his new toy, thank you very much, as he began returning to the Multiverse, to end it's existence. Gasping hard, the Titans regrouped. Saffie heaved.
"What do we do, we didn't even make a dent on that guy. Every attack bounces off that giant monster." He stammered. But Manic heaved.
"We need Sukko. He's the only one who's successfully fought him off." He gulped, but Shads growled.
"But the Sorcerer is down. He needs time to recover." He hissed, coldly. "But I doubt he'll abandon us up here." He nodded. But Saffie growled, deeply at the monstrosity.
"Then we buy him some time." He growled. Shads looked over and smirked, immediately understanding. Manic frowned.
"What do you mean?" He asked. But Shads's smirk broadened.
"We can't destroy this fiend, he's too strong. But he was pester him, annoy him, anger him, enough to get him away from the Multiverse, and follow us. Enough to..." He spat, as Manic cut across him, finally understanding. He squealed.
"Buy, Bro, enough time to plan how to defeat that monster." He smiled. Shads nodded, but then Saffie rounded on the other two Titans.
"We go for monster. Give him hell. Bombard him constantly, without relief." He ordered. Shads immediately agreed, as He, Saffie, and Manic with Archie again, all charged across the Cosmos.
Dimension – 23691 – Succumbing To Evil
Sukko was still unconscious, on the main timeline, but the Embodiment of Madness was building. The Sorcerer's mind was descending into darkness, as otherworldly, horrible nightmares of the most gruesome terror, began stripping across his mind. He screamed, he cried, absolutely desperate for help. But here, in the darkness of his own mind, on his own Psychic Link, he was completely alone. Saffie was gone, separated, elsewhere, distracted, not understanding the dire situation Sukko was in. If Sonikku was here, he'd be charging straight in to help fight, just like the corruption attempt back in the Sol Empire. But he knew Sukko, he understood the signs, even another dimension away.
But now Sonikku was gone, the other end of the telepathic line, now so loose, he couldn't feel or even hear him. Just his presence could be felt, not his cries. Sukko was going to die, in the most dire way, and Sonikku would have no idea, helpless to even help. Thankfully, Cthulhu wasn't trying to invade his mind again. You had to be in his presence, either physically or telepathically, for that to happen, unless Cthulhu specifically knew who you were. But that didn't mean the mighty Sorcerer wasn't beginning to loose himself.
As the Embodiment of Madness got stronger and deeper, it began horrendously chipping at Sukko's own sense of self and moralities. Finally the gruesome images of the terrible nightmares, that had constantly bombarded him, in his sleep, began to no longer bother him. His fear and the utter disgust of them eased and then suddenly vanished, and soon, he was beginning to relish them. As the intense evil took hold, so did Sukko's enjoyment of it, as he began panting hard, lapping up those horrendous images, absolutely loving them, and when they got significantly worse, as he just desperately wanted more.
Finally, the Embodiment of Madness had driven itself down, deep enough inside his own mind, to access the Chaos Sorcery, and the Magic just exploded. Immediately, it began corrupting, as a direct consequence of the Madness, and the Sorcerer just screamed.
HELP!
But no one came. He was completely alone. Sonikku was unaware, and Saffie just didn't understand. Both were them were going to just stand by and let him die.
Never mind a plan to saving the Multiverse from the wretched monstrosity, Cthulhu, could the mighty Sorcerer Sukko save himself?
The Multiverse – The Greater Cosmos
As Cthulhu was about to reenter the Multiverse, he noticed his nuisance flies were back. He scowled at them, now sending deep, white mist across the Greater Cosmos, in their direction. That one attack was free. For them to get the message that he was otherworldly and utterly indestructible. Apparently that hadn't been received and now they were annoying him. He growled. Bad move.
Just because the Great Old One was a cosmic deity, didn't mean he couldn't defend himself. As the Titans began dive bombing him, their annoyance became unbearable, as the monstrosity just wanted to be left in peace. Each of the Titans specialised in a different style of dive-bombing, honed over the years from fighting Eggman.
Shads kept his distance. Using pinpoint accuracy, and Kee Kee excellent eyesight, as a ghost, in the darkness of deep space. He threw Storm-breaker, it spinning vertically, across the Cosmos, all the while ensuring it looped back around and returned to him, straight to his hand, like a boomerang. He sliced and diced Cthulhu the best he could. He didn't physically harm the monstrosity, but each slice did visibly cause him pain.
Saffie took a similar tactic, but a little more hands on. Literally. His three foot long silver Adamantium knives, which exploded out of his close knuckles, on his command. Never before had he used these horrendous weapons on anything organic. He'd mutilated many a robot with them, but never a living, breathing creature, even if it was a monster. But he just growled, as his anger exploded. He could still feel the Sorcerer in the back of his mind, and even though Sukko had long since stopped talking to him, Saffie felt he had to help. He gulped, feeling the Psychic Link. Something was seriously wrong, but the Sapphire Dragon had no idea what, or how to fix it. He just didn't understand what he was feeling behind the wall, the enormous block Sukko had put up.
He knew what was happening to the Sorcerer was linked to this horrendous monstrosity. Taking him down might actually do something. Saffie roared as he temper exploded. To hell with morals, as he exploded his knives, and beat his wings, Cthulhu was going to pay for this.
Saffie exploded shockwaves across the Cosmos, at ruthlessly high speeds, right at the Great Old One. Flying high above him, he dived for him extremely fast, and Saffie dug the knives into his back, them slicing through the flesh like butter, and took six huge trenches out of monstrosity, eons long, before letting go and repeating the process. Even though Cthulhu could instantly heal, that hurt, as he screamed in pain. He shook the Sapphire Dragon off of him, even heavily misted himself, with thick deep, white fog, but it didn't make a different. Saffie's superb, cyborg enhanced eyes, with built-in night vision just saw straight through the fog, as he continued to slice and dice the monstrosity.
Manic added to the battering on Archie, the Blue Dragon, flying in a similar fashion to Saffie, but aiming for the eyes with incredibly hot fire breathing. Less effective, but equally as uncomfortable.
Shads smirked. It didn't matter who you were, monster or otherwise, he knew, from experience, that no one could tolerate that amount of pain forever. It was going to be a matter of time, before the monstrosity lost it, and followed them away from the Multiverse.
Cthulhu fought back with standard hand-to-hand combat. Clawing, punching, wing slamming, fire breathing, anything to get these now rather painful, nuisance flies off of him, but it wasn't enough as the Titans just kept coming.
Eventually, Shads was right, as with a huge surge of speed and power from Cthulhu's wings, he powered himself away from the Multiverse, and towards the Greater Cosmos. He roared with anger, especially at Saffie. The monstrosity tired everything he could, to try and grab that brutally painful Sapphire Dragon, directly. But catching the King of Speed, especially in his ultimate version, wasn't easy, and Saffie could fly on those Dragon wings of his. He tore through deep space of the Greater Cosmos, like it was nothing, with incredible speeds and manoeuvrability, now that he could survive out there.
But the Great Old One had, had enough, and decided it was time to fight back, with his more supernatural abilities. He had his own arsenal, which was only considered if a confrontation was worth the energy. But as that blasted Sapphire Dragon tore him another one, down his back, to decided to hell with this Multiverse and this corner of the Greater Cosmos. He had a passive attack, which preyed on fear. He got nothing from these three Titans. He smirked, not yet.
He had Madness Inducement, Torment leading to full Insanity, which he'd already invaded Sukko with telepathically, but a hit from Cthulhu's almighty hands, exposed the recipient to a large dose of it, along with three enormous lines of deep black and red malice, coming straight for them. A dozen hits, and it caused an significant increase to Cthulhu's power. Sanity Break was fire on top of the Insanity, which then became pure Fear, and the recipients flees, increasing damage by them by half. The Mire was the channeled energy and bombardment with expanding circles. Raising a hand, Cthulhu allowed the energy to fall from above, from black tornado-like malice clouds with orange centre, with red dangling tentacles, and finally, he could Dash. Enormous wing flaps that surged him forwards, with red and black demon malice clouds.
Across the Greater Cosmos, Cthulhu targeted Shads with the Mire, and completely caught the Titan off his guard. With super-high speed reflexes, he narrowly missed the channeled energy, but felt it burn his fur coat and skins, as he brushed passed him. Then, with the distraction, Shads only barely caught Storm-breaker afterwards, as it flew towards him. A nanosecond later, it would have hit him. He panted, swearing hard, that was close. But as he looked up, the other Titans weren't fairing any better. Saffie had been completely throw off course with Cthulhu's huge wing dashes, the enormously surge of wind, sending him flying, and with further deep malice clouds, it lead to yet another near miss.
Manic on Archie, was taking a beating, as Cthulhu just bombarded the Blue Dragon with hit after hit, from his grotesque hands. Somehow it missed the Earth Bender, but Dragon was battered. Before long, he'd been completely consumed by both the Madness and the Torment. Out right panicking with the Fear, Manic was forced to abandon it, as he tried to flee, but Cthulhu just lashed at it, tearing it to pieces, leaving it drifting, unconscious in deep space. The monstrosity surged for the Earth Bender but Shads stormed across the Cosmos, and managed to cut off one of Cthulhu's tentacles off his beard. He tried to go for the head but missed. But the tentacle rapidly grew back, as the distraction gave the Earth Bender a chance to get away.
But as Manic falls, he suddenly lands. Sukko's pale blue, almost ice-like stones beneath his feet, automatically materialised. He smirked, clever Hedgehog, as the Sorcerer knew that the Earth Bender, was at his best when he was on solid ground. Sukko understood his Earth Bending, and mixed it with the Magic to give him a means to fight, in a place where he'd normally have nothing.
Cthulhu's hand tries to grab him, but Manic just closed his fist, and punched it away, and as he was beneath the monstrosity, just under his chin, he jumps up, off Sukko's stones, and uppercuts him, with an almighty reflex. Manic being significantly stronger then he looked, completely caught the Great Old One off his guard. He stumbled backwards. Looking around, Shads signalled. Time to regroup, the game of chess had changed.
Manic ran, a Magical stone, appearing perfectly beneath each foot and then vanishing afterwards. Manic had temporally knocked Cthulhu senseless, and Shads wanted to used the lull to strategise, but then he saw the Earth Bender, Manic, was desperately shaking. He'd given his all to just punch Cthulhu, doing it again, and he'd risk breaking bones. He was lucky not to do it the first time.
Shads swore. He was hoping the Earth Bender had more to give but no. But the Great Old One, didn't take being punched in the face all all kindly. Truthfully, it was a first, as he'd never met a opponent who could, and if those nuisance flies believed that this was all he could do, they were gravely mistaken. Now, he anger turned into roar temper, as he transformed, as he entered his ultimate form.
His body suddenly surged upwards. A large, deep purple monstrosity of a demon, a pale symbol on back of head, suddenly, four times larger. The pure definition of madness and instant fear. His Descend into Madness darkened significantly, increasing damage to both the recipient and giving a dramatic surge of power to Cthulhu, leaving a lingering Torment effect. His Sanity Break became Devastate, where hand to hand combat caused yet further increased damage. Severe was Cthulhu swiping at his enemies with his claws, leaving three lines of black malice clouds, and anyone caught in the effect twice, would face instant death. Finally, Cthulhu's last and ultimate move was Transfuse, where he would cross his arms, and then swipe them both outwards, and the resulting deep purple horizontal shockwave would destroy everything.
It would absolutely devastate this corner of the Greater Cosmos, the Multiverse, the surrounding planets, including the Sol Empire. It was mean a permanent end to all the Mobians and their friends.
Cthulhu immediately sent the three Titans scattering as it sent multiple Severes, right across the Cosmos, the deep lines of black malice slicing through deep space at speed, narrowly missing the Hedgehogs. But they tried, they desperately tried, not to show to fear, to a monstrosity that ultimately wallowed in it. But Saffie was desperately struggling. Despite repeated asking, he'd yet to get a response, down the Psychic Link, from Sukko, and the block, and the telepathic connection itself, was beginning to fail. He was getting intense fear from both Cthulhu himself, was well as the Embodiment of Madness, down the Psychic Link. Up until now, the Sorcerer, had desperately blocked it, from the Sapphire Dragon, in an attempt to try and protect him.
In the distraction, Saffie was caught by another Severe from behind, as Cthulhu had been sending them everywhere, as the black clouds of malice, just sliced through his torso, front and behind, leaving his internal circuitry exposed, and brightly sparking with white and pale green electricity. After spasming several times, the mighty Sapphire Dragon just lay still, his eyes open, his wings hanging dangerously downwards, his back arching. He was down. With no sign of Saffie's hologram, no one had any idea of the Sapphire Dragon was alive.
Manic screamed, but Shads grabbed him. He growled.
"No!" He spat. "You mustn't show that filthy monstrosity any fear." He hissed. "There is nothing you can do for your dragon brother now." He added. Certainly not at that very moment. Taking a deep breath, he flanked Cthulhu, indicating that Manic to the same, on the opposite side. The mighty monstrosity was now flailing, distant attacking them constantly, his highly calculated moves, that he'd produced throughout this entire battle, had been lost through pure temper. Shads was planning on taking full advantage of that fact. But as Cthulhu knew, even the most highly-trained, seasoned, professional super-soldier, such as Shads, had to have a fear somewhere, even if he didn't show it.
But the Titans were caught off guard yet again as the distances changed. They became shorter for Cthulhu, longer for the Titans, and when the Great Old One realised he was being outflanked, he warped spacetime, changed everything and dashed, surging his wings forwards, and sending both the Titans flying off track, along with deep black malice lines, narrowing missing him, in hand-to-hand combat.
Cthulhu, in his deep purple from, growled. His temper had gotten the better of him, leading him to not look at his surroundings properly. He scowled as he surged his telepathy against at the remaining Titans, only to be blocked yet again. But in doing so, Sukko's shield failed. That Chaos signature. His impressive challenger. The warrior, he was still yet to show. He huffed. This battle was getting very tiresome, and he thought about just ending it, but now, he was now very intrigued as to where it was all heading. It had been surprisingly challenging, much more so then he'd expected. Enemies this size, against him, usual fall a lot faster then this. This nuisance flies, were actually Titans, and that in itself was to be respected. But that didn't mean he was letting them off.
So Cthulhu sent his inner demons outwards and the entire Cosmos's geometry began to deteriorate, and decay around the remaining Titans. Planets and the Multiverse become unrecognisable, twisted in his grotesque vision. He smirked, much more pleasant, as he narrowed and refocused his attacks, and went for the Black Hedgehog. But not him, but the certain ghost he was carrying. The Great Old One may have heard the axe wielder telling his friend not to fear him, but completely forgot about his companion. The fear flowing from that poltergeist was delicious, and it left a trail everywhere. Ghosts were not immune from him, as Cthulhu realised that the Black Hedgehog would be lost without him. Kee Kee during the entire fight, had been desperately trying not to scream, clinging onto Shads with everything he had, trying blend in, but as he was about to find out, that wasn't enough to hide him from the monstrosity.
Suddenly, further bombardments of Severes came straight in Shads's direction, as he soared across the Cosmos, Cthulhu slashing with Devastate whenever he got in range. It was relentless, and soon, Manic was having to used his instantaneously appearing ice stones to block the black malice. They could, just, but it entirely depended on the Earth Bender's inner core strength, and that was dwindling fast. Back-to-back the two Titans defended themselves, both of them stopping the black malice, either with ice rocks, or Storm-breaker, from the constant onslaught, but still, no one was watching a certain ghost.
But Cthulhu was.
Smirking hard, the Great Old One, aimed straight for him. A superbly aim, high tuned Severe. The three lines of dark, deeply beautiful black malice, soared across space, and straight for the Black Hedgehog, and missed. But Cthulhu wasn't aiming for the Ultimate Lifeform, but something, or a certain someone, wrapped around his arm.
His high pitched, short, sharp squeal, told the monstrosity he was perfectly on target. Kee Kee didn't stand a chance. The cold, black malice sliced straight through him as the three lines cut through him vertically, taking both his head and tail off. The three ectoplasmic sections of the ghost began drifting away, far apart, quiet and now, deadly still. Weirdly, he didn't disappear, ceasing to exist, his his ghostly white remains stayed, to openly taunt his friend, shining in and out of the scatter mist, that now littered the area.
Shads exploded with anger.
No!
Immediately, the tears began to stream, as the Ultimate Lifeform of a Titan, just lost it with the Great Old One, as his number one fear came true. He charged for the monstrosity, but before Manic could stop him, Cthulhu saw him first. The Black Hedgehog was a formidable opponent, seeing through all his tricks. But he wasn't immune, and now no longer shielded from him. Aiming only for Shads, he bombarded him with his Telepathy, and completely fooled the mad Titan. He made him completely believe that Cthulhu's hideous form was elsewhere in the Greater Cosmos, then it actually was. The Titan, the true Demi-God wielder of Storm-breaker, then throw the mighty axe at him. It inevitable missed, and Cthulhu made no attempt to have the Titan catch the mighty weapon as it returned to him.
He increased the warping of the Cosmos, which had been happening continuously throughout the battle, and finally, it was benefiting the Great Old One. Storm-breaker, as he span vertically, complete missed Shads oncoming hand and it span around and suddenly, before the Ultimate Lifeform, could do anything about it, it had planted itself into his back, right between his two back quills blades. The Axe was so sharp, that it pieced straight through the Titan, and punctured out the other side. Shads, screamed, and then immediately felt silent, as his heart stopped. He too was left drifting out in the Cosmos.
He was dead. Only time would tell if the Ultimate Lifeform would ever regenerate.
Cthulhu evilly smirked. Why battle a formidable opponent, when you can trick, and then kill him with his own weapon. More fool him, for wielding such a thing. He heaved. Two nuisance flies down. He cocked his head at the third one. The last remaining Titan. This 'green thing', for want of a better word, now seriously intrigued him. Was he even a Hedgehog? He heard of the race. He knew of all the species, on every planet, across the entire Greater extended Cosmos. Millennia old, he seen them all. Yet, he'd never seen powers wield by this creature before, as he was able to manipulate an energy directly, that Cthulhu believed a mere mortal could.
Chi.
He could feel it on him, as he was well aware of all the different energies everywhere. Chaos, Sol, and Chi. Chaos being the easiest energy to manipulate for the Great Old One, Chi being the hardest, almost impossible, and Sol, directly in between. But Manic had strength and power, far beyond his small stature would denote. To be knocked and then toppled by him, was impressive, but as Cthulhu narrowed in on the Earth Bender, closing in hard at him, the enormous monstrosity realised that Manic, the Titan, wasn't a true Bender of Chi. A pureblood.
He had Chaos within him. A miniscule amount, but it was there. His ability to hear his brother's thoughts, to receive his incredible Magic. A true Bender of Chi, was a person, who has within their body, nothing but Chi energy. No Chaos, no Sol, and they are immune to everything, even the other energies. The Chi will block anything, and the person can't be interfered by them. Telepathy, which is classed as a Chaos based power, cosmically, they would also be immune from. Manikkos, from Sukko's own dimension, was a pureblood. His Titan counterpart was not, and it was about to be his downfall, or so the Great Old One thought.
This version of Manic was the Titan, because he had access to both Chi and Chaos, which made him the stronger and more powerful version of the Earth Bender, but not against Cthulhu. To bombard the Earth Bender telepathically was a waste of time. It would be mostly blocked by the Chi. What the Great Old One had to do, was slowly trickle extremely powerful telepath, into the tiny gap, between the Chi, where the Chaos lay, and send the Green Hedgehog mad. But that became easier said then done, as the mighty Earth Bender still somehow managed to resist him, on his own, despite his weakness. Manic growled.
"Get out of my head, you fiend." He hissed, not taking it likely.
Cthulhu hissed. Fine. He'll do this the hard way.
The monstrosity smirked, as he threw everything at the Earth Bender, in an attempt to beat him into submission. Multiple Severes were thrown, on top of exasperating and extending the wrapping of the Greater Cosmos around him. He constantly messed with the distances. Manic blocked, dodged and ran from everything he could, but soon he was becoming overwhelmed. He looked around. Scattered remains lay drifting all around him. All of the Titans efforts to defeat Cthulhu, had been left in tatters. Archie, Saffie, Kee Kee and Shads, had all taken a beating against the monstrosity, and had been left unconscious and drifting, possible dead. Only Manic was left, and he wasn't going to last much longer.
They had bought the Sorcerer was much time as they could. Manic squealed, behind all the bombardment.
"Come on, Bro, where are you?" He stammered.
Nothing.
But then he remembered, when he first met the Sorcerer, back on the main timeline. He had this rather uncanny knack, to hear his name, being yelled from anywhere, in the Multiverse, especially from a member of his own family. It had worked for Stripes, but would it work for him, here in the Greater Cosmos. His brother had been here first.
As the constant attacks from Cthulhu kept coming, and Manic, just about holding his ground. Panting, he opened his mouth and yelled, at the top of his lungs, with literally nothing left to loose.
"SUKKO!"
