Hey y'all I'm so glad you all liked chapter 1. Thank you for the reviews, followers and favorites. I thought I would go ahead and give you all another chapter. I hope you like it.
Chapter 2 this is a time jump.
Christian and Ana have known each other all their lives. They grew up together, if you saw one you saw the other. They were like two peas in a pod. Always getting into trouble. Everyone knew they were meant to be together. Let's read and see what happens. Totally Cheating ever. No Elena. No BDSM.
FLASHBACKS OF ANNIE ROSE AND CHRISTIAN
First thing their parents did have them both tested again and they passed higher than last time. They are two very smart kids. They were reading on a tenth grade level now and in the sixth grade.
Needless to say they they only did eighth grade in middle school and went to high school in the tenth grade now they are turning sixteen and getting ready to graduate in the twelfth grade
Wow these two kept their parents on their toes through the five years jump.
Carrick bought Christian his horse the next Christmas. He loved and his horse was solid black. He named it midnight. Perfect name for him.
Now these two as we already know like to bet. They would bet on anything from riding their horses around their land the fastest or who could jump rope the longest.
They even bet on who could wash clothes. Oh my that was a good one.
"Annie Rose can you come out and play? I'm bored, I want to do something."
"No Boo not right now I'm busy."
"What are you doing?"
"Well I see all these clothes that momma hasn't got to yet. I am going to wash them for her. She washes mine all the time."
"Um, do you know how to wash clothes? I know you are smart but you never did that before and neither have I."
"Well I guess there is a first time for everything so I am going to do it."
Well then you do yours and I am going home to do ours. I betcha mine will be done right.
Ok I'll be over in a little bit.
"What do you wanna bet Boo?"
"If mine are washed right you have to say I am smarter than you."
"Ok if I am right you have to sing Row row row your boat all the way through."
"Annie Rose, you know I don't sing."
"Yes you do, I've heard you. You are almost as good as me."
"Ok you're on. Let's shake on it."
These two shook hands and Christian went home. He loaded the washing machine and added the detergent and closed the lid. He didn't wait on Annie Rose. He thought he she was taking too long.
Annie Rose put her clothes in and added her detergent and closed the lid.
They both went out and played until their moms got home. Their dad's were in the shop. Elliot was supposed to be keeping an eye on both the little monkey's as the moms would call them.
Well let's say neither one won that bet. They both put the right amount of washing detergent in but Christian put clorox in the colored clothes and ruined his mother's clothes. Thank the lord he only put a few tops and pants instead of all of them.
Annie Rose did everything right but she forgot to start the washing machine.
Their mother's said for you two to be so smart tell us what happened to the clothes Chris? Annie, what about the washing machine not starting?
We were in a hurry to play. We are sorry mommy and we are smart. But sometimes our brains are in overdrive. Annie says, smiling.
Christian just looks at her.
Get out of here both of you.
They bet on who could scream the longest and scared their parents to death.
They bet on who could eat the most potato chips. Yeah they both got sick.
They even bet on who could make their dad laugh first. They lost that one cause both Ray and Carrick were on to them. They laughed together.
These two bet on one thing after another until there wasn't anything else they wanted to bet on. They just got tired and tried different sports and things.
Christian tried out for baseball and made the team as the pitcher. Annie Rose was at every game cheering him on. They won all the games and he said it was cause of Annie Rose kissing his cheek every game.
Annie tried out for barrel racing and won all of the races. Some girl tried to make her horse trip. Thank goodness Casper was alright. She got her speed back up and came in the fastest to go around the barrels. Of course Chris was there to root her on. He helped Ray to prepare her for the tournament. He always made sure she had everything she needed and he would kiss her cheek before each race.
Chapter 2 Ana and Christian 15 years old turning 16
"Christian are you up? It's time for school."
"Yes mom, I am up and ready."
"Come on down and eat breakfast. Elliot is taking you to school."
"Ok I will be down in a minute."
Christian walks down the stairs and hears Annie talking to his mom.
"Good morning mom."
He walks over and kisses her cheek.
"Good morning Christian."
"Morning Annie Rose."
"Good morning Boo."
He knows she hates that name but he loves it.
"Are you not eating Annie Rose?"
"No thank you Boo I ate at home. Mom made me pancakes and bacon."
"What are you two going to do today after school? You know y'alls birthday is next Saturday. Have you invited your friends to your party?"
"Well we don't want to have our birthday party together anymore. We already told you both that."
"Well I forgot and I bet Carla did too. I better call her."
"Hey Carla, did you forget these two want their birthday parties separately this year."
"Oh lordy yes Gracie I did. Well we will figure something out. Tell them not to worry about it. What are we going to do with them?"
"Lord, your guess is as good as mine."
"Ok well Carla said we would figure something out. You two go on. Elliot is waiting on you. He is taking y'all to school today. You don't want him to be late for work."
"You know Annie Rose we are both going to be sixteen and in the twelfth grade. I don't have a lot of friends my age except John and Billy."
"Well Boo I only have Kathy and Julie. All of my other so-called friends are older cause of our grade level."
"Well do you think we should just have our party together or try to invite some more people?"
"Naw, let's have them together. I would miss you anyway if you were not here with me."
"Good answer Chris."
"I guess we better tell our mom's after school."
"Yes we better."
They go on to school and Elliot lets them out in the front so he can go work.
They walk in the school and are stopped by a girl with red short hair and her skirt is shorter than it should be. If she bends over her butt will show.
"Hey Chris whatcha doing this after school?"
"Oh um Amy isn't that your name? I am going home and doing my homework. Then I have to help Ana's dad and my dad in his shop."
"Oh well I thought maybe you would like to go and have a sundae with me at the ice cream shop."
"Sorry but I can't."
"Oh ok I will see you later Chris."
"Who was that?"
"Oh she is in my math class. I think her name is Amy."
"Did you invite her to our birthday party?"
"No Annie Rose I did not. Are you jealous?"
"Why would I be jealous of her?"
"Oh I don't know. I could have sworn I saw your pretty blue eyes turn green for a minute."
He said, smiling at her.
"Oh you go on to class I will see you at lunch."
"Bye Annie Rose."
"Bye Christian."
Christian's friend walks in and sees him and Ana walking down the hall and some red head. She walks off and then Ana walks off.
"Who was that hottie you were talking to just now?"
"I believe her name is Annie Rose."
He says smirking as he watches Annie Rose walk down the hall.
"Oh so you do think Ana is hot?"
"What no where did you get that at? Why did you say that?"
"Cause I asked who the hottie was and you said and I quote "I believe her name is Annie Rose"
"Oh you were talking about the red head. Her name is Amy I think and she is in my math class. Want to meet her. She is your type."
"Sure, introduce me to her at lunch."
"Ok I will. I will tell her in class that you want to meet her. She is more your age."
"Cool, I will see you later."
Ana walked on to her History class and was wondering why Chris thought she was jealous of Amy. I think that was her name.
Why would I be jealous of her? Oh well, time to think about that later.
Ana walks into her class and there are guys that look at her but she doesn't notice. The girls glare at her. She just smiles and sits down in the front row like she always does.
"Good morning class."
Everyone says good morning.
"Now who wants to tell me about Christopher Columbus and what he did?"
"Oh come now class you all should know this. You had to read the chapter in your history book for homework."
"James how about you?"
"Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue."
"Not an answer smartass."
"Well then Barry if you know you answer him."
"Barry what did Columbus do?"
"He sailed his ship."
"Come on, someone give me the correct answer."
Ana raised her hand but Mr. Jones would not call on her. Cause she always answered right every time.
"Jamie, do you know the answer?"
"No sir."
"Carol?"
"Um no sir."
"Anastasia, please stand and tell the class what Christopher Columbus did."
"Do I um have to stand?"
"Yes, so they can hear your voice because you don't talk loud enough."
"Ok, Columbus set sail from Spain with three ships. The Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria on August third fourteen ninety two."
"Thank you Anastasia."
She nods her head. She hates to be called on last when she could have just answered it first. Now all the kids are going to make fun of the smart girl.
"Class read chapters twenty one through thirty for homework tonight. I expect you all to know the correct answers tomorrow."
The bell rings and everyone walks out.
Ana walks out the door and sees Christian walking with Amy and John.
She just goes on to her next class.
Christian goes to his math class and Amy won't leave him alone. She decided to sit beside him. He tries to ignore her.
"Chris, why won't you talk to me?"
"Cause we are in class and I don't want to get into trouble."
"Well Mrs. Haley is not in here right now."
"It doesn't matter Amy right? I don't want to talk to you. I am trying to study."
"Ok I get it."
"You get what?"
"That you like that Anastasia girl."
"Yes I like her, we are friends."
"No you more than like her."
"What the heck are you talking about?"
"Oh come on Chris everyone knows you like Anastasia you call her Annie Rose and she never gets mad when you do."
"I have always called her that. So what are you talking about?"
"Oh hell you like, like her that's what I am talking about."
"No I don't, you are crazy."
"Oh ok if you say so. But we all know different. Don't we y'all?"
Everyone in class said yes.
"Y'all are all crazy."
"Oh Amy, my friend Billy wants to meet you at lunch. He is your age."
"Yeah sure ok."
After class Christian, John and Amy are walking down the hall and Amy sees her but Chris doesn't so she moves closer to him and whispers in his ear.
Ana sees her and walks away.
"Amy get the hell off of me."
'Sorry Chris I almost fell."
She says smiling to herself.
It's lunchtime and they all head to the cafeteria.
Ana walks in and goes to her usual table waiting on Christian.
In walks Christian, Amy and John.
Ana sees them and starts to get up but stays seated.
They all walk over and sit down. Amy is sitting close to Christian.
"Hey Annie Rose, what are you having for lunch?"
"I made some lasagna for supper last night and I am having some with garlic bread."
"Looks good, can I have some?"
"You cook?"
"Yes Amy I do. Don't you?"
"Um no never we have a cook."
"Well just so you know we do too but I love to cook."
"Is there anything you can't do Annie Rose?"
Before Ana can answer. Amy offers to share hers with Christian.
"No thank you. I want the lasagna. Don't call her that."
"Why? You do."
"I am special, I can do that. Right, Annie Rose?"
She just smiles at him
"Here Chris take a bite."
She holds her fork out to him. But before he can take a bite Amy knocks Ana's arm.
"Excuse me, I am so sorry."
Ana knows she did it on purpose.
"Here Chris you can have it. I will eat my lemon cake."
"Lemon cake? Did you make that? You have to share that with me. You know I love lemon pound cake."
"Hey Billy, have a seat."
"I will save you a bite."
"Billy about time you got here. Hey this is Amy. She is in my math class. Amy, this is my friend Billy. He wanted to meet you."
"Really so you were not just saying that to get me to have lunch with you?"
"Um no I told you he wanted to meet you. What did you think that I wanted you?"
"Well yeah and you were playing hard to get."
"I am sorry but no I have my eyes on someone else as you well know." and he was looking at Ana
"So it is true?"
"Yes it is but don't say anything please."
"I won't."
"Hey Amy, would you like to come to Ana and Christian's birthday party next Saturday?"
She just looks at them
Ana and Christian just look at him because he invited her.
"Y'all are having it together?"
"Yes Annie Rose and I are having our sixteenth birthday party together next Saturday."
"Why are you having them together?"
"Because we were born the same day and five minutes apart. So we have always had our birthday parties together that's why."
"Oh that's so sweet. So Am I still invited Anastasia? "
"Well of course you are and I am inviting you. Is that alright with y'all?"
"Yes Billy it is fine with me how about you Chris?"
"The more the merrier."
"Next time Billy ask us before inviting someone please."
"Oh I am sorry I was just so excited that she was coming."
"Alright then we will see you next Saturday at two o'clock."
They all go home.
"Mom, I changed my mind. I want to celebrate my birthday with Christian."
"Ok Annie."
"Ok Annie you go and do your homework then we will have supper and talk to your dad about what to have. I need to call Gracie too."
"Have you told your classmates what time it will be Saturday?"
"Yes mom, two o'clock."
"Mom, I changed my mind. I want my birthday with Annie Rose."
"Ok Christian."
"Have you told your classmates what time it will be Saturday?"
"Yes mom, two o'clock."
"Alright go do your homework and then when your dad gets home we will plan on what we are going to have. I need to call Carla too."
Carrick got home, they ate supper and talked about the party.
"Why don't we invite Carla and Ray over so we can decide on what we are going to do for the kids' sixteenth birthday party."
"Good idea Gracie."
"Hello Ray it's Grace. We were wondering if you and Carla would like to come over so we can plan the kids' birthday party. You know they changed their minds and want them together again."
"Yes Carla told me. We will be over in a little while. Might as well have Annie and Chris there with us."
"Good idea Ray. See you soon."
"Annie, Carla we are going over to Gracie's."
"Why am I going?"
"Because young lady it is your birthday party too."
"Oh ok will Chris be there?"
They look at each other.
"Yes Annie, he will be at home."
"Ok let's go then."
The day of the party
"Oh my goodness mom what am I going to wear? I haven't a clue with all these clothes I have. Help me please."
"Annie calm down, it's just a birthday party."
"Mom, you did not just say that? You did not just say it is just a birthday party?"
"Yes I did Annie."
"Mom, I am going to be sixteen years old. I am a teenager and sweet sixteen is a special age."
"Well yes my dear you are."
"Mom, that means I can get my license and I can drive."
"Oh, oh I see now but you don't have a car to drive so you don't need a license yet."
"Mom but one day I will have one, you know so I need my license."
"Ok when that day comes we will let you get your license."
"Mom please help with my clothes."
"Annie, why don't you wear this lovely blue sundress with your blue heels? The ones that don't have too high of a heel."
"Oh that will be perfect thank you mom."
"You are welcome Annie. Now clean this mess up."
"Mom, can I do it after our party?"
"Yes Annie but I want it done before you go to bed."
"Yes ma'am."
Meanwhile at Christian's
"Christian what are you doing bro?"
"I am trying to decide if I want to wear my blue shirt and jeans or my red shirt with them."
"I have it on good authority blue looks good on you."
"Who said that?"
"Oh a lot of people. Mom in particular and a few girls."
"I only want one to say that."
"Well she is a girl too."
"Yes I know she is."
"What did you get Ana for her birthday?"
"You will know when she opens it."
"You and her say that everytime I ask y'all."
"Yes we know."
They both laugh and Christian puts on the blue shirt to match Annie Rose's eyes.
"You know Chris, you and Ana will be graduating in two months. Have you decided where you are going for college? Have you got any replies back yet?"
"Lord, I know it and I can't believe that Ana and I will be graduating."
"Oh come on you two are so smart why not believe it?"
"Yeah I know but hey we can't help if we are gifted. Sometimes I wish I wasn't you know?"
"Why would you say that?"
"Because some of the kids in my class look at me like I am crazy. Here I am sixteen today and I started high school at fourteen in the tenth grade. I am the youngest student in all my classes."
"Hey don't worry about it. How do you think Ana feels? She is in the same boat as you. You are both smart as hell and gifted. You both should have been in special classes for the gifted. But neither of you wanted that."
"Yes we know but we didn't want that and the gifted classes made us feel stupid. We knew more than they did. Hell Annie Rose knew more than I did. She scored way over the top. She is up there with Bill Gates but don't tell her I said that."
"I won't bro now back to the colleges."
'I have acceptance letters back from Yale, Stanford and Harvard. We both want to go to Harvard."
"Bro, that is great, have you told mom and dad about what you want to do?"
"I have mentioned it but not sat down and talked to them about it."
"Well you have time."
"Yes I do."
"I want to go to Harvard with Annie Rose. We both have been accepted."
"Right now I am not sure what I want. But I will be taking some business classes and economics classes."
"Sounds good bro."
"Ok well we better get downstairs before dad comes up and drags us down."
They both laugh.
Just as they are walking down the stairs Carrick is on his way up.
"There you are, everyone is arriving and Annie is already here with her parents. Come on boys. Happy Birthday son I love you."
"Thank you dad and I love you."
"Come on you two, let's get this party started."
"Calm down Elliot, it is not your party."
"Oh dad, I know that. It's just I have to push him in the right direction."
"Get out of here Elliot."
Carrick pushes him down the hall.
"Christian you look very handsome today. Happy Birthday."
"Thank you Carla."
He kisses her cheek.
"Christian my boy don't you look very dapper today."
"Thank you granma, what can I say you only turn sixteen once and you look lovely as always."
He kisses her cheek.
"Mom, where is Annie Rose? By the way, you look lovely."
"Thank you sweetie and she is outside with Ray waiting on you."
"Well come on then let's go outside."
They all walk outside and he spots Annie Rose standing beside Ray and the little punk.
"Chris there you are."
Ana walks over to him and kisses his cheek.
"Happy Birthday Boo. This is for you."
"Happy Birthday Annie Rose, you look beautiful. This is for you."
He leans down and kisses her cheek close to her mouth.
He sees Ray and Carrick look at him and they are smiling.
"Now that the birthday couple are here we can begin."
"Who said we were a couple?"
"I think cause it is probably our birthday."
"Yeah I guess you are right."
"Come on, sit down and open your present Ana."
Ana opens her present from Christian. Inside is a beautiful locket with a diamond in the center and an inscription on the back. To my one and only Love Christian
"Oh my goodness thank you Boo this is beautiful. I will always treasure it."
"This is for you too."
She opens the envelope and sees helicopter classes written on the card. She looks at Christian and he takes the card from her hand.
"Read this Annie Rose."
Ana reads what is on the card.
"Boo you got me helicopter training classes?"
"Yes daddy it for me. You have five flying classes."
"Yes I did. Why are you so surprised?"
"Um, well just open your gift please."
She gives him a kiss on the cheek.
He looks at her
"Open yours now."
Christian slowly unwraps his gift and opens the box. Inside is a remote control helicopter that was hers when she was ten years old.
"Oh my god Ana you are something else. I love it and wait a minute. This is yours from when we were ten years old. Thank you my sweet girl."
"Oh wow we can go together now."
He looks at her.
"You are welcome but that is not all. Look in the envelope."
"Annie Rose you, you got me flying lessons for a helicopter?"
"Yes Boo I did well daddy did it for me. You have tickets for five lessons and you can take them anytime you want to."
He grabs her and hugs her to him. Forgetting about everyone else but them.
"Oh uh I am sorry did I squeeze you too tight? You are blushing."
"No Boo you didn't, it's just everyone is looking at us."
"Oh well let them look."
He hugs her again.
Carrick and Ray decided on a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs and all the fixins.
"Alright you all, hamburgers and hotdogs are ready. Plates are here. The chips, condiments and drinks are over there on that table. Help yourselves."
After everyone had eaten the gifts were given out to Christian and Ana.
Ana got some clothes and perfume. She got a beautiful Michale Kors handbag from her friend Kathy and some earrings from Julie.
Christian got some clothes, cologne and a few hats. He got a ticket for the Tennessee Georgia home game from his buddies John and Billy.
"Hey Annie, we need you and Chris to come outside for a minute."
They both look at each other and shrug their shoulders and walk out the front door.
"Oh my god…no way?"
"Oh lordy, is this real? Pinch me Boo."
He hugs her instead.
"Happy sweet sixteen both of you."
Ray gives Annie a key fob and Carrick hands Christian a key fob.
"Ok on the count of three click your key fobs and you will know which car is yours?"
"One…two…two and a half…three."
They both click their key fobs and both cars light up.
"Oh wait, let's do that again."
"Daddy you are messing with us."
"Annie, you go first."
She clicks her key fob and she has a blue Mercedes.
Well Christian clicks his and he has the silver one.
"Oh lord, have mercy. Thank you dad and mom so much. I love it and I love you both."
"You are welcome Annie. Now after school Monday I will pick you both up and take you to get your license."
"Oh wow thank you mom and dad. I love it and you both so much."
"Boo did you hear that?"
"Yes Annie Rose I sure did."
"Mom, you knew about the car didn't you?"
"Why of course I did and so did Gracie we picked them out for y'all."
"Oh wow bro I'll swap with you."
"No way El this is mine."
"Don't even look my way El. The answer is no."
"Well I guess I will just keep my BMW."
"Yes you will bro."
"Oh my goodness Christian come on let's go look at our cars."
"Hey everybody, thank you all for coming to our Birthday party and thank you all for the lovely gifts. We will see you all in school Monday.
"Gorgeous cars you two. See you both in school."
"Thank you John."
They both run over to their cars and climb into them. They are the same car, just different colors and interiors.
"Annie Rose, come see mine."
"Ok Boo be there in a minute."
"Annie Rose, now."
"I said a minute Christian."
"Don't make me come and drag you over here."
"Oh Boo you and what Army?"
"Oh will see what Army in just a second if you don't move that cute little butt this way."
"What did you say?"
"Oh um I said you will see."
"Yeah that's what I thought you said."
"How about you coming and sitting in mine first?"
"Oh alright you don't have to pull my leg."
He walks over to her car and kinda pushes her out of the driver's seat.
"What in the heck are you doing? I said come sit in my car. I didn't say sit on me."
"Oh I misunderstood you my lady."
"Behave and go on the other side."
"Ok, ok i'm going."
"They are both the same except the color of the cars and the interiors. Mine is silver with black interior and yours is blue with tan interior. I think they both look good."
"Yeah I think they do too. I never expected a new car or any car for my birthday. Did you?"
"Nope I had no clue. Now when we graduate high school and go to college we can drive our cars."
"Why not just take one car? We are going to the same college right?"
"Well yes but if we take both cars. We won't have to ask each other to borrow their car."
"Oh I see you don't want me driving your car."
"No Boo that is not it. I just want us both to go together. How about if we drive one and tow the other? That way we will save money on gas and wear and tear on them."
"Ok now I understand. I am sorry Annie Rose."
"Oh it's alright Boo."
"Are you ever going to stop calling me Annie Rose?"
"Nope not in this lifetime."
They both laugh and get out of her car and walk over and look at his car.
"Time to come in and eat supper Christian."
"Ok mom I'll be there in a minute. I am going to walk Annie Rose to her house."
"Ok don't be long, it is getting dark and looks like it is going to rain."
"I won't."
"Thank you for walking me home Boo. You better hurry along. I felt raindrops just now. Thank you for sharing your day with me. I love you and I will never forget this day."
"You are welcome and thank you for sharing your day with me. I love you too Ana. I will see you tomorrow. Goodnight."
"Goodnight Boo."
She walks in the house and he walks back home and just made it before the bottom fell out.
