Chapter Seventeen – Consequences
Being the God Of The Cosmos, had a price tag. A very high one. The Sorcerer's memories was sacrificed. This usually manifested itself as short term memory loss, but it could be significantly worse, if great care wasn't taken. The memory loss was triggered by emotional distress, extreme tiredness, or excessive casting. Normally for Sukko, just a few hours he'd loose, like a handover. But he never drank, as alcohol and Magic didn't mix.
But then it got worse, as Sukko struggled to remember boss fights he'd won, or arguments he'd had with people. The Sorcerer was aware of this, but as he pushed himself so far beyond where he should have, mainly for the sake of his family. He just took the resulting memory loss as part of life.
But Sukko, being the King of Stealth, was extremely good at hiding his real emotional state from the outside world. He could be screaming with agony on in the inside, and yet, his face would be smiling, looking as though nothing was wrong. No one other then family knew of the memory loss, and they believed it was temporary. But in reality it was significantly worse. He was very good, at pretending he knew people or about a given situation, when he, in reality, he didn't. A perfect act of role play, and Sukko had been doing it much more, as the memory loss worsened.
He now remembered very little of his time in the Sol Empire. Fighting the Order of Eldin, fending off corruption, battling the Dark Fire Golem, and the horrendous mental anguish, rebellion and recovery afterwards, Sukko recalled none of it. He was partially grateful, as some of it, he didn't want to remember, as he heard the stories from others, but he was forever pretending he knew of a given event, in conversation with someone, when he very much didn't.
The memory loss problems went back further, as they first started in Robotropolis. It first showed as him loosing his memory, by just simply overworking at the hospital, but then it quickly escalated, as now, he didn't remember Lazarus, or fighting Doomsday. Every Boss battle he'd ever fought, he now no longer recalled, and it was beginning to cause problems.
He remembered using, what he thought, was his God-like powers to rewrite his dimension, and twist time stopping and pushing back the hard resets. Actually he didn't. He was so powerful as a Sorcerer, that when Eggman was killed outside of his fixed destined clash with the Blue Blur, he could intervene himself, as a Sorcerer, not a God. That did push him to his limit, but the resulting memory loss was slight. Thankfully, no matter what happened, how bad the memory loss got, Sukko always remembered his family. That was why he was so desperately clingy to them. Sometimes, they were all he remembered.
During the Ascension, when he agreed to becoming the God Of The Cosmos, he believed the Wisps, that by doing it, he'd be 'helping people', as they had heavily persuaded him as such. He agreed. Why wouldn't he? He was incredibly young, and desperate to match his significantly more successful twin.
But Sukko realised, that once it was done, that the little aliens had made a grave mistake. He was not the right person for the job, and Sukko just saw nothing but disaster, if he used the powers. He never abuse them, that was not his style, his brother was the hero, but the sheer scale and enormous scope of the god-like powers. A powerful immortal, able to manipulate the cosmos at will, including deep space, to influence and change fates and destinies, and physically rearrange planets, was just too much, and to Sukko, completely overwhelming.
Unable to give the powers back, Sukko did everything he could to avoid using his God-like powers, as much as possible. Unfortunately, he was also an incredibly powerful Sorcerer, himself destined for great things. But Sukko couldn't shake the feeling, it wasn't to become the God Of The Cosmos. So much so, that, arguably, he didn't even needed those powers. His incredible grasp of Chaos Sorcery was exceptional and huge power under the hood, as vast, and it had nothing whatsoever to do with being a god.
But, with being the God Of The Cosmos, there came a grave penalty. Sukko, couldn't under any circumstances, turn his God-like powers on himself. He loose everything, at best, as they would be forcibly removed from him. He would revert back to the way he was before it happen, in both in mind and body. A mortal, all memories since gone, and at worst, every single event that Sukko had ever used his God-like powers with, wouldn't exist, reverted back to if the Sorcerer had never intervened, and the whole process would, most likely, kill him.
This terrified Sukko. To die, wasn't an option, and it wasn't because of him. If he perished, it was permanently sever the Psychic Link, which would immediately kill Sonikku, on the other end of it. Sukko heaved. He also had children and them having already lost their mother, Sukko just couldn't bare leaving them without their father. They deserved better then this.
But Stripes? He'd shared his immortality with Sukko. He didn't know that the Sorcerer was already immortal as the God Of The Cosmos when it was done, but the Sukko said nothing. The Psychic Link was failing, and that was telepathically so strong, that it automatically trumped any potential immortality the Sorcerer had as the God Of The Cosmos. But could Stripes's incredible power of immortality be strong enough against the power of the Cosmos, if he was to fail. Truthfully, Sukko had no idea, but he heavily suspected not. It had saved him once, but they had gotten so incredible lucky, he didn't think it could happen again. So he did everything he could to avoid turning his own powers God-like on himself, no matter how much he suffered.
In some otherworldly forsaken location, in deep, and utter darkness, Sukko wakes up intensely confused. He seemed to be underwater, though he could breathe normally, and yet everything around him was covered in thick, disgusting, green slime. He lying on a tabletop, made out of solid stones, which had been built up from the floor. Next to him, was the biggest monster, the Sorcerer had ever seen in his life. He was gently sleeping, on his side, his tentacled bearded face, towards him, eyes closed, as the monstrosity cradled his precious pet.
Sukko gulped, terrified. What was that?
Then it came, the bombardment, the telepathic manipulations, those horrendous images. It was all back, and panicking hard, Sukko screamed, and curling up into a ball, desperate to get away from this place. He dreamed of home, and, before the telepathy of the Embodiment of Madness could take hold of him again, out of nowhere, with a bright flash of bright white light, he vanished, well out of range.
Sukko may have been the Great Old One's ultimate prize, but Cthulhu had been conned, as the Sorcerer could teleport anywhere. Literally.
He'd fled, disappearing to the ether.
He was gone.
Sukko been suffering from, and then succumbed to, the Embodiment of Madness, and it's resulting corruption to his Magic, his Chaos Sorcery. But that had been successfully removed and cured, as the consequences of being God Of The Cosmos had kicked in. The resulting enormous memory loss had taken literally everything.
Sukko knew it would happen, if he Magically pushed himself far enough, and that enormous Telepathic Blast at Cthulhu, was perfect. He knew the Madness could be cured. He himself had telepathy, and the type he processed and what Cthulhu had, were entire different. Sukko could manipulate the physical brain directly, as well as the mind, and alter thoughts. Cthulhu's telepathy was based entirely on manipulating memories alone, and turning them into nightmares, leading the Torment, Madness and Insanity.
But without those memories, the telepathy has nothing to cling on to, and would fizzle out into nothing, effectively curing itself. Then Embodiment of Madness must attack, starting all over again, on what memories remain, if any.
That was Sukko's ace, and it worked.
He realised this, when he finally faced off Cthulhu himself, that the memory loss was his only saviour. He didn't need to telepathically blast that enormous monstrosity, his sacrifice alone, would have gotten the Great Old One to leave. But Sukko needed to push himself, beyond the limit, Magically, to trigger the God Of the Cosmos's consequences.
But it was an almighty gamble.
With the constant memory loss, the Sorcerer's recollection of the fact that there were consequences to being the God Of The Cosmos itself, were extremely intermittent. It entirely depended on what memories were take from him. Sometimes he'd remember, sometimes he wouldn't. Opposite Cthulhu, he did remember, having had the powers constantly reminding him of that fact, and that he'd hadn't had a serious Boss fights of late. Never had be completely forgotten, because the Sorcerer knew what could lead to to disaster. Sukko had no control of how much memory was taken, or if he'd be able to flee Cthulhu's grasp at the other end. Or if even curing the Embodiment of Madness, would work, in the first place. He just hoped it would. Nothing was guaranteed.
But the canny and sly Sorcerer got successes in two out of three, but Sukko hadn't realised just how much strain he's recently been under.
The memory loss was far worse then he'd bargained for.
The Multiverse – The Greater Cosmos
Sukko desperately thought through his mind, into the memories as he desperately tried to remember. He couldn't. The last thing he recalled, was talking somewhere new, having just arrive for the first time, but the couldn't think where. All the Sorcerer's recent memories had been utterly purged. He'd forgotten everything. Being the God Of The Cosmos, the consequences, and all the inter-dimensional travel. Not even the Genesis Wave, the Titans or bonding a new Psychic Link. He'd pushed himself way too far against Cthulhu, beyond anything he'd ever done before, and now he was paying the price. Unfortunately, Sukko just didn't know that, unable to work out why his memories were gone in the first place.
He was desperately confused, when he landed on nothing but empty space, out in the Greater Cosmos. This was where his dimension, his planet, should have been. Panicking still further, look around, finally flying across the cosmos, he found his home dimension, right next door to the Sol Empire.
Gulping hard, he listen in, and heard his brother Manikkos, extremely happy, in his new home. A thriving planet, full of people, where Chi was king. Sukko was pleased, delighted for his brother, but what happened to the planet, and where was his beloved husband? Shaking hard, he sent out his telepathy, scanning the Greater Cosmos, but was gobsmacked, when his found the Ultimate Lifeform's unique signature, no very far from him. He blinked.
The Sol Empire?
What? When did he and the kids move there? Sukko was almost certain his children would have gone with Stripes. No way, would he have left them behind. Frowning, hard, he was desperately intrigued, he was about to head to the Sol Empire. He memories of the place was incredibly scattered, but he still called it home, regardless.
As he was about teleport down to the beautiful sun planet, the Sorcerer heard something across his mind, that just made his heart stop.
{Sukko?}
The Blue Hedgehog froze, shaking hard, now in pure and utter fright.
Who was that?
It came from the mind, now on the other end the Psychic Link. Sukko gulped, feeling for it. It felt like his brother, but the chaos signature was completely wrong, and the tone was well off. He cried, where was his Sonikku? His twin, his other half, the fellow Blue Hedgehog he'd grown up with? He cried, the tears streaming.
Who was this imposter? Desperately panicking, he screamed in his mind, and hard.
{Who are you, how did you get in here? Where's Sonikku?} He stammered, still desperately feeling for his dimension's twin's, and failing to find him, he full blown panicked. It which rapidly turned into grief, as Sukko's mind collapsed. He just cried. {Sonikku? Sonikku?} He screamed, then he round on the imposter. {What have you done to him?} He growled.
Saffie, blinking hard, was completely dumbfounded. What? He was delighted that the Sorcerer was alive but now panicking himself, as he just whimpered, and hard. He tried to reach to him, across the cosmos. Saffie's brute strength as a Titan, meant that down the Psychic Link, he could now broadcast it that far.
{Sukko, it's me.} He comforted, but that just made everything worse. Sukko just screamed, as he had the worse panic attack of his life. The Psychic Link, his ultimate special place, where he could completely be himself, wasn't safe anymore. It had been invaded, and with the imposter, and Sukko just couldn't cope. He slammed up blocks on the Psychic Link, so incredible hard, that Sukko left the Sapphire Dragon screaming in agony. But the Sorcerer just ran, now utterly desperate to get away. Crying hard, he vanished, his bright white flash, landing perfectly, in the palace grounds of the Sol Empire.
Dimension – 23691 – To Desperately Follow A Friend
Back on the main timeline, joy had exploded as the news came through that Sukko was alive. Everglade could feel the Sorcerer Magic through his power ring, and Saffie hearing his voice down the Psychic Link, was music to everyone's ears. Frank was right, the Sorcerer would be coming home.
But all was not well.
Sukko didn't know who Saffie was, and was panicking down the Psychic Link. He was fleeing from him.
What?
Everglade gulped and hard. With the Sorcerer's sheer power in Magic, and him, not remembering anything, the Wizard feared the worse. They had to find Sukko now, and fast. But where was he going? Saffie had heard him scream for Stripes, and they all knew of only one version of the Ultimate Lifeform he ever called that.
His husband.
Using one of Shads's inter-dimensional portals, they all ran straight after him.
Sukko was fleeing to the Sol Empire.
Dimension – 151105 – The God Of The Cosmos No More
Sukko literally stormed into Blaze's dimension, running, right across expansive area of her palace grounds, still screaming.
{Sonikku? Stripes?}
Finally, they all landed, to utter confusion. Blaze, herself, Everglade, Shads, Saffie, Manic, Sonic, Tails, and Shadow. Knuckles and Rouge had stayed behind to hold the fort, but Sukko had drawn a crowd in the palace grounds. He was holding his head, screaming, hard, still outright panicking. He'd stopped running, as now swaying everywhere.
Blaze, Everglade, and several palace ran for the Sorcerer, but he didn't want to know. But as Saffie desperately tried to comfort him, down the Psychic Link, but it horribly backfired.
{Sukko, please stop.} He begged, but the Sorcerer growled hard, his Magic now exploding as he lost control. His eyes were glowing, his palms a deep, rich blue. Screaming hard, and to Everglade's total horror, and before he could even stop him, incredibly quickly, Sukko turned his own Magic on himself, which with the incredible power he processed, would only lead to just one result.
Suicide.
The Sorcerer was utterly willing to do this. Even though he had immortality from Stripes, through the blood tattoo, it was nowhere near strong enough to match the entirety of Sukko's Magic, if he turned it on himself. Him, destroying his own Psychic Link, would negate the power of the tattoo, and kill both the twins.
When he got corrupted by the Order of Eldin, he was utterly willing to take his own life, rather then succumb to the evil. Feeling someone he didn't know on the Psychic Link, caused Sukko to outright panic that he was loosing it again, and that it was falling into the hands of evil. That wasn't true, but he was so adamant of it 'not' happening, that he was willing to destroy his own precious telepathic connection to stop it. Screaming hard, he dived down, right to the pit of his gut, into the depth of his bowel. Pushing the Chaos Sorcery for everything it had, including his God-like powers, in sheer and utter desperation to flee, he slammed his hands either side of his head, and blasted his own Psychic Link. He screamed.
{Get away from me!}
Ka Boom!
If the Sapphire Dragon had been anything other then an incredibly powerful, utterly indestructible Cyborg, that blast would have instantly killed him. On the other side of the Psychic Link, he didn't stand chance, but he barely survived, just. The explosion radiated down from his brain, around, through his body, on the inside, as the intense pale blue Magic, just blew outwards. Saffie had a silver Adamantium skeleton, followed by delicate circuitry, heavily integrated into his muscles, and organs, over which was a layer, perfectly organic skin, scales and quills. The Magic completely and utterly fried him on the inside, as he exploded with bright sparks of blue, which then turned to green electricity, through his outer skin, which shredded. Violently shaking, gasping hard, suddenly, he collapsed on to the ground, desperately panting.
He screamed, in excruciating agony, as he was heavily shaking, but somehow, Saffie had no idea how, he stayed conscious. Blinking hard, he grabbed Manic terrified. He was in a bad way, as Sukko's Magic had destroyed ever single piece of machinery within him, and now his life was hanging by a thread. Never had anything taken him out so completely, not even the worst fights against Eggman around the Multiverse. He cried, the tears streaming, still not understanding what was happening.
But if Saffie was in a bad way, then Sukko was worse. Sorcerers are not meant to turn their own Magic on themselves. It was instant death. His entire body, exploded with a enormous vivid blue, mushroom cloud of pure Chaos Sorcery, as Everglade could do nothing but cry, ducking for cover. As the explosion rose upwards, it took the Sorcerer with it, his back dangerously arching, as he lay face up, as he ascended towards, limp and lifeless, his arms and feet dangling down.
But as the mushroom cloud died away, suddenly, bright white light descended from the skies, and surrounded the Sorcerer's. Suddenly, it exploded with streams of energy, which grouped together and spelled words across the sky, clear for all to see.
'The Rules Have Been Broken,
The Powers Must Be Forfeit,
Time Must Revert Back To Before The Gift,
All Events Influenced Must Be Erased,
The God Of The Cosmos Is No More'
Suddenly, Sukko's body exploded with bright light, as the streams of incredible white energy were forcibly yanked upwards, out of the Sorcerer's body, and towards the heavens, as the power of the God Of The Cosmos, was physically taken from him. The light lit up the entire sky, as Blaze and Everglade, just squealed in pure fright.
Sukko was the God Of The Cosmos. Anything he ever did as a god, was now going to be erased. The Sol Empire. It was going to fall. The Order of Eldin was going to win, Everglade would going to die, or worse corrupt. They grabbed each of the screamed, as suddenly, the skies were finally done with the Sorcerer, him now looking significantly younger, recent his tattoos gone.
His signature long, black coat had disintegrated, when his entire body, was physically dragged through time, to when he never had it, before he became a Doctor, and the Ascension. The huge dragon tattoo on his back, was still there, but he'd had that for years, and had used Magic to hide when he visited the Restoration, on his home dimension, which lead to the original Ascension.
Suddenly, now done, the entire area, the whole of the dimension of the Sol Empire, was filled with bright white light, as the full reset was made. Everglade screamed, desperately hugging Blaze, as the shroud of light seemed to last an age, until suddenly, he finally died down. Everyone blinked.
What?
Sol Empire was perfect, completely unchanged. It looked as though the devastation hadn't happened. Blaze and Everglade looked around. Everything was fine. No Order of Eldin, they'd won the fight, they still had peace. How was this possible? They should be in the depth of disaster. Regardless, they were a huge sigh of relief, as they all cheered.
But all was not well.
Sukko was rather violently dropped to the ground, as the bright white light, suddenly vanished, but he hadn't moved from where he fell. He was laying on his side, facing them, his arms and legs lying on front of him. His head rested on the ground, his eyes partially open, the iris's cold, a deep, blank, and grey, his blue fur and quills dull and lifeless, his chest still. Someone screamed, as the hard realisation hit everyone, as grief exploded everywhere.
The Sorcerer was dead.
Suddenly, there was a roar of noise, heading straight for them as the sound barrier broke, as Stripes, desperately raced towards them. Tears were running down his face, he already knew his precious Sukko was gone. He just wanted to be there anyway. He now hated everyone. He'd heavily objected to the the Sorcerer leaving with the other Titans, and fighting in the cosmos, but let them go anyway. He just foresaw it ending in disaster, and now, those utterly careless idiots, had brought his beautiful, beloved spouse home to him, feet first, in a box. He growled and hard, as the excruciating grief took hold. He was never going to forgive them for this.
But as Stripes approached the palace, someone beat him to it. Exploding with the distinctive, but extremely strong smell of chilli, he charged straight past the Ultimate Lifeform, with raw speed, power, and sheer grief. Their screams of pure despair, just said it all. To everyone's utter surprise, Sonikku, whom had been in hiding in the Sol Empire, just ran up to the palace, straight into the grounds, and dived for Sukko's body, before anyone else could. His sudden appearance stunned everyone. No one knew he was even here.
He grabbed his beloved twin, he cradled the body in his lap, cuddling it hard, and as Stripes arrived soon after, he was completely unsurprised, he already knew, as Sonikku just cried his heart out. He grown since he was last seen. He was now very tall and slim, wearing, black shoes, which were just his famous red and white shoes, covered in shoe paint, white socks and gloves, a huge tribal style jet black tattoo across his left breast, shoulder and upper arm, another on the entire length of the outside his right leg, from his hip to his ankle. He still had Stripes's large red tattoo, in blood, on his left shoulder, and his obsessive love for ghost chillies had, very much, left it's mark on his breath. He stunk, but the smell was largely ignorable once you got used it it. That was the only reason his family put up with it. Sonikku desperately cried over his brother's body.
No!
He'd been struggling too, ever since Sukko had separated the Psychic Link from him. He hadn't severed it, but the Genesis Wave had put huge strain on it, and left it hanging by a thread. Sonikku knowing that there were other versions of himself out there, suggested that he bond and reform the Psychic Link, with a new Sonic, one of whom, would be closer to him, out there in the cosmos. Originally Sukko had objected, but finally, he agreed, and stabilising the line he still maintained with Sonikku, he created a new bond with Saffie.
It worked, but was in hindsight, a really stupid idea, as it left Sonikku desperately missing his brother. In fact, it got so bad, that he had a mental breakdown. Sonikku is the version of the Blue Blur where everything was to the extreme. His intense love of chillis, his superpowers, significantly stronger then the others, his hyperactivity, and his constant talking. That was normal, when Sukko left, everything just exploded, became much worse. In fact, it got so bad, that he physically couldn't cope. His was so hyper, he couldn't eat, sleep, or look after himself. That was he now so slender, and when he finally snapped, his wife left him. Unable to take any more, she divorced him, and tried to take the children, and elope with her new boyfriend. But Stripes, when he heard, took full custody of his niece and nephew, when the boyfriend was 'mysteriously' found dead.
She left, running away, when she realised that messing with a professional killer was a bad idea. But this didn't help Sonikku, as the lack of Psychic Link, just such the Blue Blur into a pit of despair. Desperately worried, Stripes took Sonikku to hospital, in the Southern Isles, in the Sol Empire. But it was a total disaster, backfiring horrendously, when the hospital, believing it was doing the right thing, committed Sonikku to the Mental Health Ward, and the Blue Blur found himself locked in one of their padded safety rooms, and a 'Sonic' in a cage, don't mix.
When Sonikku tried, and almost succeeded, in taking his own life, Stripes intervened, saving him, and got him out of there, taking him home. Now it was getting desperate. Where was the Sorcerer? What were the twins thinking, in separating themselves from each other, on the Psychic Link? Stripes knew that had been drifting apart, somewhat, but this wasn't the answer.
But it wasn't the twins idea. Sonikku's wife had become extremely jealous of her husband's intense closeness to his identical twin brother. So when the opportunity came to potentially divide them, she took it, persuading Sonikku, it was a good idea. Of course, he believed her. She was his wife, and set the plan in motion. But when Stripes found out, he threatened to kill her, if she ever returned.
The only thing Stripes cared about, were the twins, and their children. He roared in pure anger. This stupid stunt was going to cost the twins their lives. Sonikku had already attempted suicide, despite the blood tattoos, but what of Sukko? Stripes gulped. If the Sorcerer did that, as the source of the Psychic Link, he'd kill them both, their immortality not making a difference. Stripes knew Sukko was capable of it. He heard the stories. He heaved and hard. The twins had spent their entire existence together, they physically couldn't cope without each other, so why would they suddenly think that now they could, alone in their own minds. Regardless, as Stripes growled, it had been a total disaster. If Sonikku was this bad, then how was Sukko? Stripes dreaded to think but he couldn't see this ending well. He just hoped the Sorcerer had a plan, otherwise he just didn't see the either of the twins surviving.
Sonikku could feel with what limited line he had, that Sukko wasn't happy out there. As soon as felt the Sorcerer die, on the other end, Sonikku immediately came running, even though there was nothing he could do.
Outside the palace, Stripes promptly grabbed Sonikku with one arm, who promptly cried on his shoulder, and then cradled his beloved Sukko in the other. Despite Sonikku moving on from Stripes, to find a new wife and family, the Ultimate Lifeform still loved his Blue Blur. That never left him, as he desperately comforted him. Stripes examined Sukko, and then cuddled him hard, as he found no signs of life on the Sorcerer. He truly was gone.
But after several minutes, Sonikku, jumped backwards out of Stripes's arms and staggered, backwards, landing on the ground hard. The colour drained from him, as desperately gasped, shaking hard. He gulped.
"Stripes, what's happening to me?" He stammered, but before anyone could do anything, Sonikku collapsed, onto his back, completely unmoving in the grass.
He was dead.
Stripes screamed, grabbing up the other twin. He panicked, what was happening? No one knew, as Manic, who'd been cradling the mighty Sapphire Dragon, all of sudden, couldn't wake him. Out of nowhere, he just completely shut down. His body rapidly turned icy cold, as the Earth Bender cried utterly bewildered, as to what to do.
Suddenly, as was a high pitched squeal, as Kee Kee suddenly staggered, in Shads's hand, the Ultimate Lifeform holding him close. He sniffed, and hard.
"Hey, come on, Ghost. My little Kee Kee, stay with me." He begged, but to no avail, as even a poltergeist, from the afterlife wasn't immune to this. He immediately began to fade, and then disintegrate in Shads arms. Everglade ran up and swore, looking around back at Sukko. He cried.
"How desperate were you?" He muttered, but Blaze growled.
"Everglade, what do you mean?" She asked, but Everglade sniffed hard, through his own tears. He cried.
"Sukko told me that he had a full established Psychic Link, with one version of the Blue Blur, but a loose telepathic connection with all of them, throughout the Multiverse. He told me that without the Psychic Link, he and Blue Blur he was bonded with would die. When Sukko turned his own Magic on himself, he didn't just sever the Psychic Link, he blow it to pieces, including all of the telepathic connections. Now, every version of the Blue Blur, that was ever had a link to the mighty Sorcerer, will die." He stuttered, as Shads cried as the ghost permanently vanished from his hands, he dropped to his knees and Storm-breaker just smashed onto the ground.
Blaze, witnessing this, rounded on Everglade, and cried at him.
"But why though?" He sniffed. "Why did Sukko turn the Magic on himself, when he selfishly knew the consequences?" She stammered, shaking hard, unable to believe that Sukko would actually do this. The incredible selfless Sorcerer she knew. But Stripes looked up, with deep anger on his face. He growled.
"Because the powers of the God Of The Cosmos were not free. Sukko was never meant to fight on the front line, that's how I knew this would end in disaster. He was the only Titan with the most to loose. To us, he was never a God. He was a spouse, brother, and a father." He sniffed, and he squealed and hard, as the huge realisation hit. "How am I going to explain this one to the kids?" He wailed, then he heaved, composing himself. "Every time he pushed himself too far, or you imbeciles made him, his memories were forfeit. He must have outright panicked when he realised that Saffie was on the Psychic Link, and not Sonikku. To have what he perceived as an imposter, right at the heart of his mind, and to not remember the how or why, would have been horrendously terrifying." He heaved, tears running down his face. "The poor creature. So he just fought back and hard. Sonikku told me, that Sukko was completely and utterly willing to take his own life, if he believed his Magic was falling into the wrong hands." He stammered.
Everyone was horrified. They all had no idea. Sukko hadn't said a word, only his family knew. Everglade heaved, utterly disheartened. Suddenly, it explained everything. Suddenly, he cried, utterly hating himself. Sukko was a father, and he, along with everyone else on the Titan mission, had forgotten that. Soon, the grief turned to guilt when they all realised those littles ones, had now lost, their father, and their uncle, having already lost their mother. It was dire.
Then, it happened, as a certain Fox cried, desperately trying to keep on his feet, a now collapsing Blue Blur. He cried.
"Sonic, no!" He screamed, as he finally succumbed to the curse, and before anyone could anything, Sonic had fallen to the ground, his colour drained, cold and dead.
Blaze cried.
Four versions of the Blue Blur in her kingdom, and now all four of them were dead. Suddenly, across the skies, above their heads, millions of sounds of distant screams and cries, as Blue Blurs everywhere, across the entire Multiverse, fell to their deaths. None of them were spared.
Suddenly, there was an almighty clunk, as suddenly, the entire cosmos violent shook, causing a enormous earthquake in the Sol Empire. For a dimension, that never gets such natural disaster, Blaze frowned as he rounded on Tails. The Fox nodded, as he pulled himself was grieving over his best friend, and whirled up his handheld, which promptly went crazy. Through the tears, he gasped and hard.
"The Multiverse, it's severely destabilising itself out there. I know the Wisps have been influencing that, but they have been choosing dimensions, where removing Eggman, would have minimum impact on the greater Multiverse as a whole, and the world themselves could cope. Now the triangles are broken everywhere, and the Multiverse just can't cope. It's collapsing, and destroying itself." He sniffed.
But Blaze gulped, rounding on Everglade. She cried.
"What to we do?" She stammered. The Wizard looked back over to the one person who started all this, and subsequently, was the only one who could fix it.
Sukko. He heaved.
"The Sorcerer." He heaved, simply. "But unless you know of a way to raise the dead, Princess, we're all done for."
