Thank you all for the reviews. I am so glad you all have enjoyed my little story of Christian and Annie Rose growing up as Christian calls her. I'm glad you all like the background of their parents.
Here is chapter 6
"Alright time to go home. I am hungry and I heard Annie say she was making her lasagna tonight."
"Dang y'all have good ears."
"I only told mom and no one was in the kitchen but us."
"Yes but good news travels don't you know."
"Oh Boo be quiet."
"Well Annie that is true don't you know."
"Ok, ok and yes I am fixing lasagna tonight and we are having garlic bread sticks and my vinaigrette wine dressing for the salads."
"Yes, yes, let's go home."
"You heard them Jason , you and Gail take us home. By the way you both are invited to supper tonight. We would like to talk to both of you about continuing your services."
"We would not want to intrude on your meal. We could come over after supper."
"No, we are inviting you both for supper and we won't take no for an answer."
"Very well thank you and what time is supper?"
"Annie Rose, what time are we eating?"
"When you and I get through fixing it."
"Now look here Annie Rose. I am asking because Taylor would like to know."
"Oh well six thirty Boo."
"Taylor supper will be at six thirty."
"Thank you Chris."
"You're welcome Taylor."
"Ana can we bring anything?"
"Yes ma'am your appetite."
They all laugh.
"Alright then."
"I got a question Taylor but you don't have to answer if you don't want to? Annie Rose and I are a bit curious is all."
"Ask your question Chris."
"Um, are you and Jones a couple or do you just work together? Now remember you don't have to tell us."
"Yes we are a couple. We just haven't shown it or told you and Annie. We are professionals and have to do our job."
"We have been waiting on that question for two years from you both."
"Alright we were just wondering. Thank you."
"Not a problem Chris and I will tell you we do plan on getting married one day just not right now."
"Oh ok cool."
They are home and they go their separate ways to the houses. They all walk in the house and Christian sets the alarm.
"I am going to change and put something more comfortable before I start cooking."
"I think I will to Annie Rose since I am helping you."
"Be back down in a few minutes."
They both have changed and come back downstairs and go to the kitchen and start supper.
Annie and Christian are working in the kitchen and Elliot is just there at the bar watching. They are working like a well oiled machine. They are so in sync with each other.
"You two amaze me. I am sitting here watching you both and you are working so steadily with each other. It's like you know what the other wants before you ask for it."
Well Elliot we have been cooking together here for two years. So we are in sync with each other. Besides, he knows what I need to fix the lasagna. I boil the water and he adds a little oil so the noodles won't stick. Then after they cook a little while we turn the eye down to slow the boil. He watches the noodles and stirs them every now and then."
"Ok well y'all are good."
"I am going to fix the bread. I have to put butter and garlic on it and put it in the oven later."
"Chris, what are you doing with all that stuff? Do you need it all?"
"Elliot I know you have seen mom make a salad before right? And we know you are stupid bro."
"Nope I was never allowed in the kitchen after the time I almost blew the oven up remember?"
"Oh my god how could I forget that. Why did you put that wood in there anyway? I never knew and besides I wasn't but five or six at the time."
"I wanted to dry the wood so I could use it for a school project. I had seen mom put stuff in there to dry out like pecans and walnuts. So my thinking at the time, remembering I was nine or ten years old, was to do what she did. But I decided to put the oven dial all the way up to five hundred. Boy was my butt sore for a few days."
"Yeah I know and we laughed at you and got grounded for it."
They all laugh.
"Oh I am going to fix the salad. Annie is making her Vinaigrette Raspberry wine dressing. So good."
"Oh man, I can hardly wait. I haven't had her Vinaigrette dressing with wine in it."
"Yes I know she just started adding the wine last year."
"Ah ok."
"Ana, are you going to make your sauce for the lasagna like you always do?"
"Yes El I am. Were you worried that I had changed it?"
"Well yeah kinda since Chris salad you changed your dressing."
"Never fear El, it is the same."
"Whee good I love that sauce."
"Elliot, will you set the table out on the deck? It is a lovely day and I thought we would eat there."
"Sure, where are your plates and the silverware?"
"The plates are in the cabinet to the right of the stove in the first door up silverware is in the first drawer to the right of you."
"Chris tell everyone supper is ready and make sure Taylor and Gail are here please."
"Ok love, be right back to help you."
"Hey y'all supper is on the deck. It is a lovely evening and we decided to have it outside."
"Where is Taylor and Jones? They are supposed to be here by now."
"They called and said they will be here in a few minutes."
There is a knock on the door. Carrick walks over and opens it.
"Come in, come in right on time. We are eating on the deck. Annie's idea, she said it was a lovely evening."
"Well yes it is a very nice evening."
"Well said Gail and what do you have there? I told you not to bring anything."
"I know but I made a chocolate cake. I hope you all will like it."
"I am sure we will. I have to hide it from Christian. Anything chocolate he will devour."
They all laugh.
"Come on, let's go out back. Everyone is already out there. I'll put this away for now."
They all walk out back and the table has a blue tablecloth on it with a lovely flower arrangement in the middle. There is soft music playing.
"Sit anywhere you like, we are not formal here at home."
"That's right, just grab a chair. See, watch me."
"Elliot, behave yourself. They will think you were born in a barn."
"Yeah bro be good."
"Oh well whatever anyway please take a seat Ms. Jones."
"Thank you Elliot."
They all sat down and ate the delicious meal that Annie and Christian prepared for them.
"Would anyone like dessert?"
"Annie Rose you didn't make dessert did you?"
"No Boo but Gail.. I mean Jones did."
"That's alright Annie if you call me Gail right now."
"What did you make Gail?"
"A very scrumptious chocolate cake from scratch. It's my mother's recipe. I hope you all like it."
"Mom, will you bring out the plates? I will get the cake and a cake knife to cut it with."
"Yes Annie I will. Would anyone like coffee with your cake? We have decaf if you would rather have that."
"Yes decaf sounds good Carla. Anyone else?"
They all say coffee except the kids who want milk.
"Christian will you get the coffee on the left in the kitchen that is the decaf?"
"Yes momma Carla, any special cups?"
"No dear, just the ones that are on the tray next to the sink."
"Ok got them."
They had their coffee, milk and cake.
"Oh my goodness Gail, that cake was delicious thank you."
"Thank you Annie I am glad you liked it."
"Oh we all loved it Gail, it was very good wasn't it everyone?"
"Yes Chris it sure was. Thank you Gail."
"I was happy to make it. I love baking when I have time."
"You and Annie will have to get together and compare recipes. She is an excellent cook and baker."
"Wow, that would be great."
"Yes it would just imagine what we could come up with."
"Well now since we are through eating would you and Gail like to sit out here with us while we discuss what we would like for you two to do for Chris and Annie?"
"Yes it is nice here. What would you like us to do, Carrick?"
"We will leave you all to talk business. Thank you for the cake Gail. It was delicious."
"You are welcome Grace."
Everyone left and went inside except for Carrick, Ray and Chris and Annie because this involves them too.
"Jason, Gail as you know Chris and Annie have decided to open their own business after they finish their training back home. They want to make sure they know everything about helicopters and how to work on them."
He sees the looks that Gail and Jason are giving each other.
"Yes," I said them. Annie is and has always been hands on in our company. She has learned a lot from us and she doesn't mind getting dirty. She wants to know the ins and outs just like a mechanic does."
"Ok well that is great."
"Now as I said it will be a while before they start their company up. They have at least eighteen months to complete training, flying and mechanical classes."
"What we would like is for you two to continue being their security. You won't have to be with them every day unless something happens. No one knows that they are wealthy. People back home only know about our business. They know nothing of our backgrounds with our families."
"We would like for you to talk about it and let us know what you decide. As you know they will be leaving and driving home in two weeks. Elliot is driving one of the cars home when we all leave. Unless he has decided to leave earlier I am nor sure what they decided."
"Dad he said he would tomorrow if we got the car packed up."
"Oh well ok."
"Jason you know we trust you both with our kids and we would appreciate it if you both would continue being there for them. We have a house on our property that will accommodate you both very nicely. Carla made sure of that when it was built."
"We figured that was what you wanted to discuss and yes we would be more than happy to stay on as security for Chris and Annie."
"Oh that is awesome, thank you both. Chris and I didn't want anyone else but you two."
"You are welcome Annie. You two are very special to us."
"Ray, Carrick may I make a suggestion?"
"Absolutely what do you have in mind?"
"Well since they are driving we will follow like we do here. Now the suggestion is we would like to be their CPOs. Close Protection Officers when they need us more. I would also like to suggest that you let us hire more security when they start their business and become well known."
'That is very good. What do you two think about that?"
"Sounds good to me but what does it all mean?"
"Glad you asked that Chris. Well we would be closer to you both. We would be like your shadows. If something were to happen we would be able to get to either of you faster."
"Ok I can deal with that, how about you Annie Rose?"
"I'm fine with it Boo."
"Now we will open your doors as before and we will make sure the buildings you walk into are safe. We would go in before either of you walked in. Same goes for your business when you start it. Can't take any chances."
"Ok that sounds good."
"Jason if you y'all would pack your belongings they can be loaded in with Chris and Annie's in the moving van. You don't need your furniture, we have the cabin fully furnished for you both. If there is anything that you would like to keep, you are welcome to it."
"Oh that sounds wonderful. I was wondering how we were going to get everything back to Tennessee."
"Yes we know you were. We have an eighteen wheeler with a fifty three foot trailer. There will be plenty of room."
"I have a question: why is the extra security here still?"
"Did they give themselves away to Annie and Chris?"
"Well I don't know if Chris saw them when Annie did but she knew who they were."
"They have been here watching the houses until Annie and Chris got here. They were staying as extra security in the background. They will be staying here until the houses are taken care of. Then they will fly back home."
" We have seen them and we knew they were extra security for Annie and Chris. I know they have seen them a few more times. I knew they knew them, that's why they weren't upset seeing them."
"Yes, that is the guys we all talked about. Their names are Luke Sawyer and Ryan are not that good if Annie and Chris have spotted them."
"We know they are around watching Chris and Annie in the background. We would like to meet them. They never came and introduced themselves."
"Yes we will introduce them to you both in the morning after breakfast. Come over at noon we are having a cookout. By the way, they live on mine and Carrick's land. Our properties join. We are close neighbors as you will see when you come home with Chris and Annie. If you think we need any upgrades with security please let us know."
"So that's how Annie knew them they live on your property. That's why they never said anything."
"Yes you are right but I don't know why they never told you all that they knew the guys."
They all look at the kids.
"Why didn't either of you tell your security that you knew who Luke and Ryan were?"
"Well they never asked and I assumed they knew them. They never confronted them."
Annie says, looking at Jason and Gail then Ray and Carrick.
"How were we to know they didn't know their names? I mean I am a genius but I am not a mind reader."
They just look at her and burst out laughing.
"This girl is just too smart, you know that right?"
"Yes Chris we do."
"Now back to the job security. Yes we will take the job as we said and thank you. I would also like to do background checks on any employees they hire. I am sure you two have been looking for good men and women to help these two run their business."
"Yes Jason we have and we have some ex Marines, FBI Agents and Secret Service guys that know all the ends and out the jobs that they are being hired for with the company. We know them and I am pretty sure you know them too."
"We will give you a list of their names and our background checks on them and you can decide if you think they need background checks done again. We did our checks six months ago and they are all clean."
"Thank you for giving me free reign on that."
"We want the kids protected at all costs."
"Yes Ray, we understand that."
"Well if there isn't anything else you need to discuss tonight I think we will head to our house and start some of our packing."
"No nothing else from us. How about you and Annie have any more questions or are you both satisfied with what they have told you tonight?"
"I am fine with it and I am happy they are staying with us."
"I feel the same way Annie Rose does."
"Ok then we will see y'all tomorrow. I think we are all going to stay home and relax. You are welcome to come over and join us in the pool or play a game of pool with us. We are just going to cook out. Have hamburgers and hotdogs and all the fixins. Just a lazy day."
"That sounds relaxing, we will see you all tomorrow. Goodnight. "
"Goodnight we will let you know the guys know what time the cookout is and you can meet our security."
"Alright sounds good."
They walk out the door and go home. As they are walking they are talking about tonight.
"Jason I am so glad that we are going to be staying with Chris and Annie. I was so worried about leaving them."
"I know Gail. Those two have grown on us and they are wonderful kids. Listen to me, I am calling them kids like Ray and Carrick do. They are not kids anymore, they are young adults."
"I know but I think they do because they are their children. Yes they are special to me as I said earlier."
"I just wonder what all this adventure will entail for all of us."
"We will find out in two weeks my dear."
"Yes love we will. Come on Jason let's go see what we can take with us. There are some things that I want to keep."
"Alright dear, come on."
Gail and Jason walk to their house and see the guys that have been trying to hide from the kids. They just stand there not walking away this time.
"Hey guys what's up?"
"You know who we are don't you?"
"Well we know you are extra security for Annie and Chris. We found out your names a few minutes don't know who is who though. How about introducing yourselves to us?"
"Alright my name is Luke Sawyer I am an ex Navy Seal. I have known the Grey's and Steele's for eight years now. I am sure they told you we live on their property?"
"Yes they did, my name is Jason Taylor I am an ex-Marine. This is Gail Jones, my lady. She is an ex-Marine also."
"Nice to meet you both and my name is Ryan Peterson I am also an ex Navy Seal."
"Very nice to meet you both. Ray and Carrick said we would meet you both at noon. They are having a cookout. I am assuming they told you both that we knew who you were and we knew why you were avoiding the kids".
"Yes we know we should have come forward but once you made us I was sure you would figure it out. Besides we were not allowed to come forward for safety reasons you know. The other students already knew about you two; they didn't need to know about us following them too."
"Which one of you made us?"
"Well you won't believe me but it was Annie Rose. She is a very observant young lady."
"Well I'll be damned."
"That's because she is a smart lady and knew who we were. I didn't like to do this the way they wanted us to but I think they did just to see how extra vigilant you two are with Annie and Chris."
"Yes, like the other day when those buffoons cornered them in the parking lot. We just stayed back and watched. You two are amazing with them. If they needed y'all you were right there for them. We weren't that far away from the action. I just love watching Annie in action."
"Yeah that little girl is something else."
"Yes she is that and more. So we will be going to our house for now and by the way we live on the other side of Annie and Chris."
"Yeah I thought you did but I never saw either of you come out the front or back door."
"That's a secret and we will show you both tomorrow. We aren't Ex Navy Seals for nothing."
"Goodnight guys see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight."
They walk into the house and the guys walk over to theirs.
"I bet my bottom dollar that they have a tunnel or another door that we didn't see them coming out of. What do you think Jason?"
"Yes you are probably right. We will find out tomorrow."
"Now I want to take the lamps that are in here in the family room and the beautiful end tables that Annie and I picked out."
"Ok what else? How about the dishes you are raving about how pretty the design is on them?"
"Yes I want them too and the glassware."
"Anything else my love?"
"Yes the bedding and comforters, maybe the bed is so nice and comfy."
"Yes it is, I think we will take the bed too. They said they had a fifty three foot trailer and there is plenty of room."
"What about the guys' things next door?"
"We can ask them tomorrow. Now let's get some sleep. The next few days and weeks are going to be busy."
"Goodnight my love."
"Goodnight sweetheart."
The next morning everyone is up early and having coffee when Annie and Chris walk in together.
"Good morning y'all what smells so good?"
"The mom's decided to fix waffles and eggs and bacon."
"Oh wow thank you mom's so much. It is nice to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with family and relax. You two are the best."
She says and walks over and hugs them both.
"Elliot we are going to load the car today but you don't have to leave if you don't want to."
"I'll think about it and let you all know. What are we doing today?"
"Ok bro that sounds good to me. Nothing really that I know of."
"Any plans today love?"
"Not that I am aware of. Mom, dad, are we doing anything today?"
"No, we are just going to relax and have a cookout while the weather is nice outside. I have invited Jason and Gail over so they can meet Luke and Ryan at the cookout. I am sure they would all like to talk and get to know each other."
"That sounds good and yes they do if they are all going to be working together."
"Well yes but the main ones for you two will still be Gail and Jason. We have more guys for you both while you are training and learning more about your business."
"Ok that works for us."
"Yes we like Gail and Jason."
"Don't look at me like that. I'll call them Jones and Taylor when we are in public ok?"
"Yes Annie, that will be fine."
"Good now I'm going to go play some ice hockey. Anyone want to play me and get their fingers smashed and lose?"
"Oh come on Annie Rose I don't lose that often."
"How do you know she was talking about you bro?"
"Cause sweet Annie Rose was looking me straight in the eye."
"Oh well I guess she would know."
Elliot cracks up laughing
"Come on Annie Rose I'll play you sweet girl."
"Gram, are you seriously going to play ice hockey with Ana? Do you even know how to play? Gram you could get hurt and your reflexes aren't that good."
"Young man, let me tell you a thing or two. I may be old but I am not frail and weak. I wasn't born yesterday and yes I know what ice hockey is and how to play. Now come here Elliot."
Elliot's not sure about walking over to gram but he goes he will not refuse her.
"Elliot I love you like my own but sometimes you let that mouth overload your ass."
She stands up and smacks him on the back of his head. Or what she can reach. He is six foot four and she is only five foot.
Everyone just stands there staring not saying a word.
"I am sorry gram I shouldn't have said that. Please forgive me and my big mouth."
"You are forgiven El now let's go play some games. We have more than just ice hockey down there."
They all walk to the stairs and Elliot helps gram down them.
They walk over to the ice hockey table Annie gets on one side and gram on the other.
"Gram, do you want to go first?"
"No little dove you go ahead. How about we say the winning point for the win is twenty. Will that work for you Annie Rose?"
"Um yes gram that is fine with me."
"Alright let's rock this table. Put on some music somebody. some good ole rock and roll."
"You heard the lady rock and roll Ray."
Ray finds a playlist and hooks it up to the surround sound they have down there.

The next song Beach Boys: Fun, Fun, Fun
"Gram you are two points ahead of Annie Rose. The score is six to eight in your favor."
"So each win is two points right?"
"Yes gram unless you want them to be one point each."
"No two points are fine with me. How about you little dove?"
"That's fine with me gram."
"Ok let's play. By the way Ray damn good music."
"Thank you gram I knew you would like it."
"Yes son you did."
They played back and forth until they both got close to twenty. Annie had eighteen and gram was rocking right along with a cool sixteen. Gram caught the side of the puk and hit it hard it slammed into the side and then flew right into Annie's slot she just missed it but it almost got her fingers.
"Dang gram that was brutal."
"I am sorry little dove I didn't mean to hit it that hard."
"It's ok gram I still have my fingers."
Annie laughs and they continue the game.
The playlist is still going and the Beach Boys again: I Get Around
"Ok this is it you are both tied with eighteen each. Whoever gets this one wins."
"Thank you Boo, yes we know."
They are both concentrating on that little puk that is going back and forth across the table and everywhere else. Oops gram almost got it. Wow Annie slams it down the table straight and gram hits it right back at Annie. They keep this up for another ten minutes and then all of a sudden gram takes the puk to the side and it slides back and forth and easily goes into Annie's slot.
"Game over little dove I won."
"Wow gram yes you did. That was a good game and you are very competitive."
"Not really Annie, just ambitious. I wanted to show El I knew how to play is all."
"Well gram you did and you put him in his place. Good game as I said."
"What are we playing next y'all?"
"Anyone want to play pool with Annie Rose and I?"
"Count me out of the pool. I can't do that. I'll watch though. I like it when my little dove kicks ass. Oops sorry."
"Well you all have fun Carrick and I are going to get the grill ready."
"Hey do y'all need me?"
"No Elliot we are good thank you son."
"Alright holler if you need us."
"We will be sure to holler loud and clear son since you all are way down here. I think a phone call would be better."
"Oh go on dad you know what I meant."
They all laugh and gram rubs him on his head.
"Yes El, we knew what you meant."
"Annie, are you going to make your chili and slaw? What else are we going to have?"
"Yes mom, I am going to make the chili. I got up last night and fixed the slaw it's in the fridge."
"Boy you must have been quiet, I didn't hear you leave your room."
"Yes I snuck out of my room very quietly and came downstairs."
"Why would you hear her Chris?"
"Because her room is right next to mine. I usually hear her if she gets up."
"Oh ok I see."
"You see what El?"
"Oh nothing, nothing at all."
"I didn't think so."
"Come on, let's shoot some pool. Then I got to go and fix the chili. How about baked beans and chips? Or would you all rather have french fries?"
"Chips sound good."
"Good we have several different kinds don't we Boo?"
"Well I can't help it if I like a variety of chips. Just like you like different cookies."
"Ok who is going to play?"
"Looks like it's just you and me, Annie Rose. I'll rack them up and we can make this a fast game. Let's just play and call the eight ball to win?"
"Sounds good to me, love."
"Did I hear you call him love?"
"Yes nanny you did. I have said it before and so has Boo. You haven't heard us?"
"No sweet one I have not. That is so precious. I will have to listen closer next time."
"Aww nanny you know we love each other and one day we will be getting married."
"Yes my girl I know this and I can't wait for that day. But right now you both have a lot to accomplish before y'all think about tying the knot."
"Oh yes we do and it will be a few years at least. Besides Chris hasn't talked to dad yet and that day is very important to us. I know he will give us his blessing and all but I want him to tell Chris that."
"Yes, sugar that day is very important and we will all be waiting for it."
"Come on love, let's play? You can go first."
"See what I mean nanny?"
"Of course I do sugar. Now go show that boy what you got."
Annie walks up, chalks her cue stick and aims it at the cue ball and knocks the cue ball into all the balls on the table. She makes the five, seven and the one.
"Oh my goodness sugar now what does that mean? I am not familiar with pool."
"It means that I have all the solid color balls and Boo has all the ones with stripes on them. Oh I forgot no one can hit the eight ball see it is black? That is the winning ball. Whoever shoots all their balls in the pockets gets to call where the eight will go. If you make the eight in the right pocket you win. If not you lose and if you scratch your opponent will get to shoot again and see if they make the eight ball in the pocket without scratching."
"Oh wow ok play sweet one."
"More playing Annie Rose less talking. You have to fix chili."
"Mr. Christian Grey guess what?"
"I'll tell you later Boo."
"Oh dang I know what it is."
"I bet you don't?"
"No betting, no betting."
"Just a figure of speech mom."
Annie Rose turns back to the table and shoots again. She makes the six and the two but misses the three.
"Alright Boo knock em out."
"On my way Annie Rose watch and learn El."
Chris walks over and grabs Annie's pool stick and chalks it up and walks to the table and leans down and eyes the twelve and the nine. He aims the pool stick at the cue ball and slams the cue ball into the twelve and it goes in the pocket. He hits the nine and it goes in the pocket. He walks around to where Annie is standing and pushes her out of his way very gently.
"Excuse me love but you are in my way."
She moves over a little bit.
He takes aim at the eleven and shoots it in the pocket next to Annie. He aims for the ten and makes it. Then he goes for fourteen and taps the cue ball for the fourteen to go in the pocket beside him. He goes for the thirteen and just misses the pocket.
"Wow bro, way to go."
"Thanks El."
Annie walks over, takes her cue stick back from Chris and gives him a little kiss on the lips.
All she needs is the three and then the eight ball.
"Now Annie love if you make the three you get to shoot at the black ball the eight right?"
"Yes nanny I do."
"She has to make the three first and I didn't leave her much to work with."
"Oh ye of little faith watch and learn."
She walks around the table and leans down, eyeing the three and looking at where the eight ball is at. She needs to bounce her three off the side and should go in the pocket at the top right. Then she has to make sure she sets herself up for the eight ball to win.
The whole room is so quiet not a sound but breathing everyone is watching and waiting.
Annie stands back up and walks to the front of the table where the cue ball is at and she rares her pool stick back and slams it into the right side of the cue ball and it slams into the three as the three bounces off the side and goes in the pocket and the cue ball is left spinning it hasn't stopped.
"Oh my stars sweet one you did it."
"Yes nanny but now I have to call the eight ball for the pocket it will go in."
"Oh yes that is right, well you study but don't study long. You know the sayin study long study" is wrong."
"Yes nanny I do."
Annie looks at the pool table and tries to imagine where the eight ball will go. She studies it for a few minutes and takes aim and looks at Chris.
"Eight ball side left pocket."
"Oh I don't know Annie if that is a good idea."
She jumps cause Ray is right beside her now and she didn't see him.
"Dad, what are you doing down here? You are supposed to be at the grill."
"I am going back but El called us and said come watch you two. Y'all have a good game going and we didn't want to say anything but I have to now. I don't think the eight will go there."
"Ok thank you for your opinion but I am sure it will. The way I am going to hit the cue ball there is no way that it won't go in the pocket I have called."
Ray holds up his hands and backs up.
"Ok Annie if you think you have this go for it."
Everyone is waiting with bated breath to see if she beats Chris and puts the eight ball in the pocket she called without scratching.
She leans over the table and takes her pool stick and puts it behind her and slams it into the cue ball and the cue ball and the eight ball go flying and bounces off the side and slowly makes it way over the side.
"Oh my lord is she going to make it?" "
How in the world did she hit that cue ball so hard with the pool stick behind her?" "
Come on, eight ball go in the pocket my sweet one called."
"Well hell I be damn."
"Oh no."
"Well oh my."
Annie hasn'r said a word, she is just standing there looking at the table and barely breathing.
Nanny walks up to Annie and hugs her tight.
"You got this sweet one."
The next thing you know the eight ball goes in the side left pocket and the cue ball stops right behind it.
"You did it sweet one."
"Yes I did and now I have to go and fix the chili."
No one says a word until she gets to the stairs.
"Annie Rose, how in the heck did you do that with the pool stick behind you?"
"I have no idea dad, I just tried it and it worked."
She walks on up the stairs leaving everyone stunned that she pulled that off, especially Ray.
