Here is another bonus chapter. This story is in my head and writing itself. Thank you all for your reviews.

Yes you all were right Floyd Atkins is Eddie Williamson. Yes he is the jerk they went to college with. But there is more than just Ana rejecting him through college. It goes way back years ago. Eddie just decided to take it upon himself to rectify what happened many years ago. He has let his anger and hate for the Greys and Steeles fester for so long that he wants to make them pay.

As you read the chapter you will begin to understand why he hates them so much. The bad thing about it is that none of the kids were even born when the first thing occurred.

Recap Chapter 8

They held the meeting for everyone to let them know they were stepping back and adding more employees. The employees especially the pilots liked that because they can have more flying time.

Gail noticed some guy staring at Ana like he literally hated her. She told them what he looked like and Gail was bringing up the video from the meeting and she pointed him out. They got his name Floyd Atkins but no one knew him. He had been working there for six months.

The security team ran two yes two background checks on him. Nothing came back wrong. They hired him as a mechanic to work on the helicopters. He worked for Boeing but wanted to be closer to his family. They live in Knoxville.

When Ana and Gail went to the helicopter as soon as Ana opened the door she and Gail got thrown in the air. A bomb went off and before anyone could get to them another one blew. Chris tried to get to Annie Rose but he couldn't.

Jason pulled him back away from the blast and flying debris. He and some more guys got Ana and Gail out of the way to a safe spot. He knew they shouldn't be moved but he had to move them because they were too close to burning helicopter and debris.

The last thing Chris said was answer me love Annie Roseeeeee.

Recap chapter 9

The helicopter blew up from two bombs. The first one when Ana opened the door and the bomb blew up throwing Ana and Gail into the air. The second bomb went off a few seconds later.

Chris nor Jason were quick enough to get to them before they landed on the pavement. All they could do was watch them fly through the air like it was slow motion.

The fire departments, the ambulances, the cops and everyone else was there. The life flight helicopter if needed.

Their parents had arrived. Someone called them.

Chris didn't want to let Annie Rose go but he had to. Chris was shaking and crying he was going into shock.

They worked on Ana, they had to use the paddles on her, her heart stopped from the impact and she wasn't getting any air to her lungs. They had to take care of that before they left with her. They realize she has a broken arm and both legs are broken from the fall. They rushed her to the waiting life flight helicopter and Jason could see them working on her hard.

Gail is unconscious but then she wakes up and screams Ana and is out again. They check her over. She is breathing just unconscious but she has a broken hand, arm and a broken leg. Gail is in shock.

Jason sees Floyd Atkins and tells Luke to go bring him to him. He knows it was him. He is standing there in the door laughing.

Jason questions him but all he does is talk in riddles. saying they knew him before but not now.

They are at the hospital Ana is in a coma. Chris had to be sedated. He was in shock but he is going to be alright. Gail is in shock all she does is cry silently and scream Ana's name.

The doctor told Chris and family that Ana was Critical but holding her own. She has a chest tube and lines all around her. They ran test and are waiting to see if she has any swelling on her brain.

Dr. Blackmon doesn't know when she will wake up. He says it is good she is in a coma because she would be in some horrendous pain. She has a broken arm and both legs are broken. Her face is swollen from the fall.

Poor Gail God Bless her heart she is blaming herself for this and it is not her fault. She will see that but it won't be soon. Because she is not only Ana's CPO she is her friend and she loves Ana like her own daughter. That is what is making this so hard on her.

Chris was talking with his family and Dr. Blackmon finally caught up with him. He tells him to go to his room so he can evaluate him and discharge him.

Chapter 10

They are all at the hospital waiting on Dr. Blackmon the nurse told them he had the results from Annie's brain scans.

Chris is just sitting in a chair not looking at anyone. His head is down and he is crying. They know that he is cause his shoulders are shaking. Grace gets up to go over to him but Elliot shakes his head and he walks over to him.

"Chris, bro she is going to be fine. You know she is too stubborn to be down for long. Y'all have so many plans for the company and a wedding to get ready for. That little lady firecracker is tough and she will wake up any day now. She just needs her rest to recuperate and get better. She will wake up when you least expect her to. she always likes to catch you off guard. Remember all the times she did that to us when we were growing up. She would jump out when you least expect her to and do something you wouldn't think she would do. She is a tough cookie and she loves you so very much. She is not going to leave you. Don't even think that."

Chris wipes his eyes with his fingers and looks up at Elliot.

"Thank you Elliot, yes you are right. She is going to wake up and give me hell cause we haven't gotten anything started. We are all sitting around here crying and feeling bad. When she is the one that is in that room hurt. Yes she is going to be better and wake up soon I just know she is. Yes she can't wait to walk down the aisle and marry me Christian Grey."

"That's it, that's the way to look at it."

"Chris, where is Annie I need to see her please?"

"Gail Dr. Blackmon is on his way to talk to us about her brain scans. Be patience please. I want to go back there and be with her. I will take you there to see her after we talk to the doctor."

"Alright Chris I will wait with you."

"Elliot, go and get our moms, here comes the doctor."

Elliot walks back with their moms just as Dr. Blackmon walks up with his file.

"Alright I am going to give it to you all straight. I don't like hem hawing around about a patient of mine."

"Dr. Blackmon please tell me she is going to be alright?"

"Yes Carla she is. It is just going to take some time. She had a pretty hard fall and she is in a coma. I will tell you all right now if she wasn't in a coma I would have put her in one because of the broken limbs she has and all bruising and pain. It would have been hard to control the pain so it is better this way. She will wake up when her body tells her. This is her way of getting better."

"Thank you Dr. Blackmon."

"Now she has some swelling but right now I am not worried about it. It is just a small place and from the scans and her brain waves we are montering her brain is active and nothing to be concerned about."

"I am going to have some nurses come and help me. I have to cast her legs and arm. All the x-rays show clean breaks so she will not need surgery to fix any bones. They will heal in the cast. I for one am glad of that because it isn't safe to put someone under anesthesia while in a coma."

"Thank god for that. When are you going to be doing that?"

"I am going to start in about thirty minutes. I know you want to see her Chris. I believe this young lady does too."

"Yes this is Gail Jones she is Annie Rose's CPO and she was with her when the bombs blew. She really needs to see her before you start."

"Of course she can. Why don't you take her on in Ana's room. I will come and let you know when we are ready to start."

"Thank you Dr. Blackmon."

"Don't mention Ms. Jones. How are you feeling by the way? I see you have a broken arm, hand and leg."

"I am doing better thank you. I just need to see my girl."

"Yes, yes of course. I will see you all in a little while."

"Come on Chris I need to talk to Ana even if she can't hear me. Jason, please come with us."

"Of course my dear I will."

"Mom, dad and everyone we will be back soon."

"Take your time as the doctor said you have thirty minutes."

"Thank you all for letting me go and see her."

"Oh Gail, you don't need to thank us. You go and see Annie."

Chris pushes Gail to Annie's room as Jason looks at everyone but doesn't know what to say.

"It's alright Jason she is having a hard time right now but she will be alright. This response she is having is normal because she couldn't get Annie out of harm's way. So she is blaming herself. Just let her sit and talk with Annie."

"Thank you Carla."

They all hear Gail crying before the door is closed.

"Mom, do you think she will be alright? She is blaming herself for Ana but it's not her fault like you and everyone has said."

"I hope so Elliot Gail is so caring and she loves Ana just like we do. Well I think she loves her like a daughter. You have to remember she has been with her since she started college and she is still with her two years later. She's not only her CPO, she is her friend. I can't imagine what she is going through right now. I do know it is hard for her to accept she isn't to blame but other than that Gail will have to work through this and I hope by the time Annie comes out of the coma she won't be blaming herself anymore. We will just have to wait and see.

"Chris, my lord, look at our girl? She is so small in that bed with all those machines around her. What is all of this?"

"They are doing scans of her brainwaves and watching them at their desk. This is for montering her heart, she has a catheter and lordy she is going to hate that when she wakes up. I don't know what all these things are. I do know this is her iv line but not sure what they are giving her. Gail, she is sleeping so she can heal and get better."

"Yes Chris I know that thank you. Now push me a little closer so I can talk to her. Then go and sit down over there with Jason."

He does as she asks and goes and sits down.

She is talking so low that they barely make out what she is saying. They reckon she doesn't want them to hear.

"Annie my Annie I am so sorry this happened to you. I will forever feel that it is my fault because I wasn't able to save you from the bombs. I love you little girl, you are like a daughter to me. If I could have taken your place…no, no that;s not right I should have been right beside you when you opened that door. It is my fault I wasn't there for you and I will never forgive myself for that. They tell me it's not my fault but they are all trying to make me feel better. Honey I will not feel better until you open your eyes and start talking."

She has to stop because she is crying again. Jason goes to get up but she waves him back down.

"Annie Rose as Chris says you better wake up and talk to us. We love you and we need you. Chris needs you so much. He was in shock just like I was. We were both screaming your name but you just wouldn't wake up. You are the strongest person I know and the most resilient. You fight this and you come back to us. We have all these plans for the company and oh my the wedding. We have to get you all better Annie girl. I love you Annie, you just remember that and remember all these people waiting on you to open your eyes and tell us all you are alright and you are going to make a full recovery. My child you and I both have a long road ahead of us with all the pain we have to go through and the therapy but we will do and we will be right as rain you just wait and see. Well my sweet girl I am going to go your doctor is here to put some cast on you. I will be back and we are all just outside the door. Chris won't leave you for anything."

Jason takes Gail back out to the waiting room and waits for Chris to come out of Annie's room.

Chris walks over to her bed and kisses her forehead and places the gentlest kiss he ever has on her soft lips. A tear falls on her face.

"I love you my darlin Annie Rose never ever forget that. I am right here with you. I am not leaving you. I will be right out there beside your door. When the doctor finishes I will be right back in here. I had to leave you a while ago because I had to be discharged. Don't worry about me, my love I am fine. We just want you to get better and open those gorgeous blue eyes. You are strong my love you will fight this. I will see you in a few minutes. I love you."

"Chris, I will come and get you when I am done. Go grab a coffee or something, this will take a little while."

"Alright thank you Dr. Blackmon, she is my life."

"Yes Chris we all know she is and you are hers. Now go so I can do this."

He walks out of the room with tears in his eyes.

"El let's go get a cup of good coffee?"

"Alright lead the way. Would anyone like anything? There is a coffee house right here in the hospital and their coffee is pretty good."

They all say coffee and donuts.

"Be right back."

"Take your time, you know this is going to take a while."

"Yes I know but I don't..I..well I don't want to be too far away from her."

"Yes we know son. It's ok go on now and get the coffee. If there is any change we will call you."

"Alright come on El."

"Now that they are gone Jason, who the hell did this to them? I want to know and I want to know now."

"Ray, do you or Carrick know anyone by the last name of Atkins?"

"No, that name doesn't ring a bell with me, why?"

"I can't remember anyone by that name either, why?"

"Because the guy that did this his name is Floyd Atkins and he said that Annie and Chris knew him before but they don't know him now. He spoke in riddles. We have talked to Chris about it. Then I had Luke on the phone and he was on speaker. Chris heard all he said about the bombs. There were three of them. Yes three, the first blew when Ana opened the door, the second a few seconds later and I hate to tell you this but there was a third one under the helicopter. Yes Chris heard that part and had to hang on to Elliot to keep from falling on the floor. We thought he was going into shock again. Elliot was trying to talk to him but Gail got through to him by raising her voice."

"How did you know it was him before Luke called you Jason?"

"After you all left I had Luke go and get him so he couldn't run. I saw him standing in the door laughing as Ana and Gail flew through the air."

"Oh my Jason is that the one that was staring at Annie during the meeting?"

"Yes dear he is the one. Captain Wayne Murphy read him his rights and arrested him on two counts of attempted murder. He said Chris or I would figure out who he was. He also Ana would if she came too. Chris said he didn't know anyone by that name."

"This sounds like someone from college if he thinks you might figure out who he is. We need to look through their college year books and see if we can place him."

"Yes we are thinking the same thing and the guys are looking as we speak. They never had really any trouble in college you know except once in a while a girl would try to get Chris's attention but Ana took care of that. Then another time a group of kids stopped them in the parking lot but again Ana took care of her. The guy ran his mouth but the girl wanted to fight so Ana took her down when she wouldn't let go of her arm. Ana asked her very nicely but she just grabbed her arm tighter and you Ana she ain't gonna take that."

"I remember what the kids name? Something like Edward, Eddie. Oh yeah Ana and Chris both called him Ed he didn't like that. The girl Annie took down was Callie. I remember that little bleach blonde. She wanted Chris even though she knew he was with Ana. Both her and everyone else knew they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Well toward the end of college they said they were engaged. But that still didn't stop the bimbos."

"Do either of you remember his last name or her's? She might be working with him on this."

"No but I bet Chris does."

"Were they going to graduate with them?"

"No, they were a year behind. There were a lot of kids that thought Annie and Chris thought they were better than them. But they showed they were. Hell they both taught classes to help students make better grades. But you all know Annie is beautiful and well Chris is a handsome young man. The guys wanted Annie and the girls wanted Chris. They were mean and hateful but the handle by Annie and Chris. No fighting, just talking common sense to them."

"Ok how did he get a job there and what did he do?"

"He was hired as a mechanic. He had a glowing review from Boeing. He said he wanted to be closer to his family. They live in Knoxville. When he graduated he started working for a small company first as an IT employee. They said his work was top notch and didn't want to lose him. We did two extensive background checks on him because the first one came to perfect not even a speeding ticket. But we couldn't find anything wrong so we hired him. We dropped the ball somehow and I don't know where."

"Damn something doesn't add up right. What are we missing?"

"I have asked the guys to do a search for his parents and I am waiting on a phone call from them now. Hopefully they can shed some light on this. I also have Luke calling Boeing to see if he really worked there. You know some people that are IT can work a computer like a whiz kid."

"Oh lord let's pray they can."

"Do you think he changed things in his background check? People can manipulate the system by being smart enough to do a whole new identity if you know how to do it. I mean write yourself a whole new life."

"Yes that can be done but damn he has to be a genius to do that and to get by Annie's deep background checks. She is the top genius. Hell, Wallstreet wanted her."

"Gail, what made you so suspicious of him besides just looking at Annie?"

"Yes we know how well we know."

"Ray, he had this look in his eyes ever since he walked into the conference room. His eyes followed Ana and Chris until they sat down. He saw me looking and he turned his head. I let it go but then he started staring at her again when she was talking in the meeting. It was weird. I could actually feel bad vibes from him."

"Well hopefully the guys will find something on him and we can send his ass to prison for a long time."

Chris and Elliot walk in with the coffee and donuts and everyone gets quiet.

"Alright what is going on? Is Annie Rose alright? Please tell me my baby is alright?"

"Calm down Chris Annie is alright. The doctor should be through in a little bit and you can go back in there."

"Ok you all had me worried."

"No reason to worry son. We were talking about the guy that did this. Do you remember a guy by the name of Eddie, Edward of Ed as Ana called him? Gail said he didn't like it when Ana called him that."

"Oh my god that is the creep that stopped us in the parking lot Jason. Remember him Gail? He was a jerk and his girl was a bitch and Annie Rose took her down. I remember him saying he knew about us. He was a computer whiz or something. Find a yearbook and I will show him to you."

Before anyone can say anything there is a woman running into the waiting room with two cops behind her trying to catch up with her.

"Oh my god I am so sorry what has happened to your daughter and the other young lady."

She says as she falls to the floor.

"I am sorry about this Ray and Carla. We tried to catch her before she got here."

"Who is this woman and why is sorry about what happened to our daughter?"

"She didn't tell you who she was?"

"No, she never got that far. She just said she was sorry and fell to the floor crying."

Just then the doctor walks out and tells Chris he can go back in and see Annie Rose.

Chris wants to stay and hear what she has to say but he needs to be with his Annie Rose.

"Go on Chris, we will tell you what she says. Go be with Annie."

"Alright and you will tell me what she says word for word?"

"Yes honey we will now go be with Annie."

After Chris walks away and goes into Annie Rose's room and the door closes.

"Wayne, who is she and what is she talking about? We don't know her."

Before Wayne can answer, the lady stops him.

"I have to tell you all something and I should have done something before now but I didn't think he would take it this far."

"Well to begin with his father blames you Ray Steele and you Carrick Grey for his dishonorable discharge from the Marines. I know it was not your fault that he was discharged. It was his drinking and not doing his job. He and I fought over that for years then when our son was born he started a company that would make us a lot of money or he thought. Anyway when his company failed for the third time after trying to get investors they gave up on him. His drinking and being drunk at work caused him to lose his business, not either of you."

Ray and Carrick just looked at each other.

"Alright please let me continue. One night our son heard us arguing about his business and he was cussing and blaming you two again for his mistakes. He mentioned y'alls names in the same sentence as he mentioned you two were the cause of him getting discharged from the Marines. Our son heard all of this even though I tried to tell my husband then that it was no one's fault but his own. I guess our son listened to his father and wanted revenge because he thinks you two ruined his father's career and business."

They are all quiet, not saying a word.

"At the time I didn't know our son was listening but after he was in high school he started spending more time during the summer with his father out of state. I am guessing my ex told him about all we had talked about that night. That is the only way he would have known about this conversation we were having that was turning into a fight. When our son came home he was sullen, mad and angry all the time. A lot of the time he was mad at me. He said I ran his dad off. I divorced the man because he was drinking again and throwing this in my face everytime I turned around. I had enough of it. Over the high school years our son become very hateful toward me. I stayed out of his way. I asked him if he wanted to live with his dad. You know what he told me?"

"No ma'am what did he tell you."

"He said and I quote "I am right where I am supposed to be, dad said not to live with him. That I needed to take care of things here and there." Now I have no idea what he meant by there. Where is the there he is talking about?"

"I don't know ma'am. But how do you know your son this to my daughter and her CPO?"

"Oh my god she had a CPO?"

"Yes ma'am she did and she is sitting right there in that wheelchair with a broken leg, arm and hand. She was brought to the hospital in shock and all she did was scream my daughter's name."

"I am so sorry and I apologize for what he has done to you and to your daughter sir."

"Please continue ma'am."

"My son and your kids went to school together all the way from elementary to high school and college. They graduated a year before he did in college. They were known as geniuses. He was into computers. His dad taught him all kinds of tricks I guess you could say. I don't know the terminology for what else it would be called."

"That would be hacking ma'am. Going into a computer and changing things around to benefit them."

"Well then I hate to say this but no it would be better if he had hacked their computers instead of trying to kill them."

"Yes ma'am you are right it would have been better. At least our daughter wouldn't be in that room in a coma with broken bones and not knowing when she is going to wake up. Or Gail sitting here with broken bones blaming herself for what happened to Annie."

"Again I am so sorry. Something told me he was up to no good when all he did was stay in his room and on his damn computer all the time."

"Didn't he work? My background checks came back that he worked for a small company in Nashville then he went to work for Boeing. He decided he wanted to be closer to his family and took a mechanic job at their company. He said his family lived in Knoxville."

"I am sorry sir I don't know what you are talking about. He worked for a company here in Pigeon Forge. We live in Pigeon Forge not Knoxville. Then he got another job but I didn't know where at. I guess it was here, am I right?"

"Yes ma'am he has been working here for six months. So everything we found on the background checks was manipulated by him."

"So when I heard the news about the bombing I knew he had done it. His father worked at a company that made bombs for the military."

"Damn the background check showed he was training for S.W.A.T."

"Oh my god what has happened to my son? What has got in his head to do something like this? I don't know him anymore. I thought something was really wrong a month ago but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to accuse him of something if I was wrong. My lord this has been going on in his head for years. It was just festering and his dad I know has made it worse. I hope you understand that? I went to his room after the news and saw all this stuff on his computer and the walls. I fell to the floor. How could my son do this?"

"Ma'am I do not know but will you please tell us your name, your ex-husbands name and your son's name? We are in the dark here."

"Oh my god I am so sorry. Lord I keep saying I am sorry but please believe me I am very sorry and very distraught that my child could do this to another person."

She is crying now and having trouble breathing.

"Clam down ma'am you are going to pass out if you don't calm down. Breathe in and out slowly. That's it in and out."

"Thank you Captain Murphy. I feel like I can continue now."

"My name is Joyce Floyd. I have remarried. My husband now is Jerome Floyd. My ex-husband is Fletcher Williamson…

"That drunk S.O.B. I am going to kill him."

"My son's name is….

Chris walks out of Annie Rose's room just as she says his father's name.

"Edward Williamson, that bastard I am going to kill him."

He starts out the door.

Elliot pulls him back.

"No you are not and neither are our dads. Think of Annie Rose. She will wake up and you won't be there. You will be in jail for murder like that bastard is. You are better than that bro now, sit down. Here, drink this water."

"Chris, calm down, you are not going anywhere young man. Ray, you and Carrick calm down too. Or I will arrest all three of you. You can say that in front of me."

"He said his name was Floyd Atkins when we did the background checks on him. That little prick manipulated everything. He has been planning this for a while."

"Wayne I want you to find Fletcher and bring him in for questioning. I believe he had something to do with this."

"Ma'am I mean Mrs. Floyd, where does your ex-husband live now?"

"He is in Atlanta, Georgia. His address is 25387 Stevens Way."

"Thank you ma'am. Now I want you to go home and get some rest. You can see your son after we talk to him and then his father. Please do not call his father and tell him anything."

"Oh my god lord no way will talk to that man now. What I have to say to him will be after you all get done with him."

"Mrs. Floyd, do you need a ride home? You don't look like you are able to drive."

"Yes thank you Wayne I appreciate the offer."

"Ray, Carrick, Chris I will be in touch as soon as I have his father here."

"Thank you Wayne."

"Chris you go back in there with your girl she needs you."

Well now we know part of why Eddie Williamson AKA Floyd Atkins did what he did. Next we will find out why his father taught him all the things he did and why he continued to make his son believe the Greys and Steeles were responsible for his mistakes in life. Oh my more to come soon
