Hello everyone first off let me say I am so sorry about my stories being late. Not only did I lose my best friend, I lost my 9 year old great niece last week. It has been hard but it is getting better.
Thank you all for the prayers and condolences again.

Just a small recap of chapter 12
Christian was talking to Annie and he felt her hand move. She did again and he knew she was waking up. The doctor and nurses flew into her room and he checked her over. She remembers Christian and called him Boo and said I love you.
Dr. Blackmon took her down to have some scans run to make sure there was no swelling on her brain and everything looked good. They brought her back to her room. She was resting but wanted to know what happened to her.
Christian didn't want to tell her right then but everyone knew how impatient she could be. She saw Gail and wanted to know what happened to her.
Christian started telling her and she said she remembered then she passed out.
Dr. Blackmon came back in to check on her and thought she was asleep. Christian told him he started telling her about what happened to her and she said she remembered then passed out.
Dr. Blackmon looked at all the monitors in the room and told him she would be alright. The monitors didn't show any signs of distress.
Now let's get on with the story
Chapter 13 She remembers.
It wasn't long after she passed out that she started coming to Dr. Blackmon was still in the room with her. She started moaning and moving a little bit.
"She is waking up. She does that when she starts to wake up."
Christian is crying and smiling and still holding her hand.
"That's good Chris. Just let her come to on her own. I am right here with you checking her monitors and everything is still looking good. As I said, if something was wrong this room would be filled with nurses as I would be calling them in here from the front desk."
Dr. Blackmon checks her heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen and everything is looking good.
She moans again and again.
"Boo, Boo."
"I'm here Annie Rose open those gorgeous blue eyes for me. I have missed you so much. I love you my darlin Annie Rose."
She tries to open her eyes and squints cause the light is too bright.
"Chris close the blinds and Ray turn down the lights please."
"Annie, is that better?"
She nods her head and opens one eye then the other.
"Good that's good now I need to check your eyes. I know you will not like it but I have to do this. If it gets to be too much just close your eyes ok?"
Dr. Blackmon shines his light in her right eye and then the left one.
"That wasn't too bad was it?"
She glares at him but shakes her head no.
"All looks good, your pupils reacted to my light very well."
"Annie Rose sweetheart, would you like some ice chips?"
"Yes please." she croaks out.
"No talking young lady.
My throat feels like sandpaper, she says to herself.
"Why?"
She points to her throat.
"You had to be intubated before they could put you in the helicopter to bring you to the hospital. You coded on the paramedics. They got you back and life flighted you here to the hospital. You had a chest tube put in because when you fell on your chest the impact from it made your lungs start filling up with fluid and we had to drain it. We took the tube out a few weeks ago."
"Pen and paper please?" she whispers.
The doctor opens her bedside drawer beside her and pulls out a small notebook and a pen.
"Thank you."
He smiles at her.
She starts writing and then turns the notebook around so everyone can see what she has written.
"I know what happened, I remember everything. I just don't know what happened to Gail. Who would do this to me to us? Tell me please? I remember some of what y'all were saying while I was in a coma but it is fuzzy to me.'
"Annie Rose why don't you wait and rest some more then I will tell you everything you want to know. Love you just came out of a coma that you were in for a month."
She shakes her head and starts writing again.
"Somebody tell me what the hell happened to us now?"
"Well Chris I believe you better start telling her. I do believe she is going to be alright. You better start explaining what happened. I will be right here to monitor her."
"Are you sure about this love?"
"Yes." she croaks out holding her hand over her throat.
She starts writing again.. but stops when Christian starts talking.
"Alright then love I will tell you. But as I said before, if you start getting agitated I am going to stop."
She nods her head.
"Alright Annie Rose I am going to start where we were all talking in the conference room. Do you remember that and what we were talking about and who we were discussing and why?"
"Yes." she croaks out.
"Aright love bear with me this is going to get hard for me to talk about but I will tell you."
She reaches for his hand and holds it.
He smiles at her.
"After you and Gail walked out of the conference room and outside. You had a tour to take. As soon as you opened your door on your helicopter a bomb went off. Jason and I ran out of the building and saw you and Gail both flying through the air. I tried love, I tried so hard to get to you but I could get to you before you hit the pavement. I have never felt so bad that you got hurt and I couldn't get to you."
He is crying.
She whispers to him
"It's ok it wasn't your fault. I am not blaming you my Boo."
"Anyway when I got to you you weren't moving and the way you landed I knew you fell on your head. I wanted to stay with you but Jason moved me out of the way. They had to move you and Gail away from the helicopter. Then another bomb went off."
He looked at her and she motioned for him to continue.
"I crawled back over to you and just held you. Yes I was crying and so scared I was losing you. The paramedics and Jason told me to let them take care of you. I was crying and shaking. I know I heard someone say I was into shock. They brought me to the hospital and I know y0u were airlifted and brought here."
She whispers Jason.
"Yes Annie?"
She holds her throat and says "continue please."
"Well they worked on you and as the Dr. Blackmon said they lost you and got you back. I watched them working on you again in the helicopter. Chris was already on his way to the hospital and so was Gail. I couldn't leave you there without me. I know you are going to say I should have gone with Gail but don't even think that for one minute I was going to leave you."
"I had the guys follow the ambulances to the hospital and more guys enroute there to make sure everything was safe."
"Now back to you and Gail. Yes there were two bombs that blew up and there was a third one but it didn't go off. From what we understood was if the two that blew up on the ground hadn't worked there was a third bomb that was going to go off and blow you out of the sky."
Christian grabs her hand and holds it. She is getting some movement back in her body now and she pulls him toward her. He comforts her with his arms around her. Holding her close to him.
She is crying and shaking her head.
Dr. Blackmon looks at the monitors and she isn't in any distress.
"That is what happened Annie. You were going to get in on your side and Gail was walking around to her door. By the time she got in front of the helicopter the bomb went off and you both were thrown through the air and landed on the pavement."
She looks over at Gail and sees she is crying. She motions for her to come closer.
Chris moves over and Jason brings Gail's wheelchair closer to Ana.
"Gail I am so sorry you got hurt too. We will get through this together, you hear me."
"Oh no Annie Rose, it was my place to make sure you were safe and I failed you." She was crying and hanging her head.
Annie looks at Jason and motions for him to bring Gail closer.
Gail is right beside Annie and Annie is reaching for her hand. Jason puts Gail's hand in Annie's.
"Ice chips please?"
Chris gives her some ice chips. She smiles and thanks him.
She knows she shouldn't be talking but she has to for a few minutes.
"Gail I am going to say this one time and one time only. So you better listen closely, yes?"
Gail nods her head.
"You are in no way at fault for what happened to me and what happened to you. I do know my helicopter had been in the shop getting checked over like it is always done after a flight. There was no way you or anyone of our guys would have known there was a bomb or three on my helicopter. Do you understand what I am saying Gail? I don't blame you for what happened, it was out of your control. I am just glad we are both still here."
"I know Annie but it is hard and I am trying to deal with it as best as I can. I agree with you that we will heal and recover together."
"I am sure it is hard and you know it is hard for me too. But we will persevere and make it through this together one day at a time."
Gail squeezes Annie's hand and gently reaches up and hugs her.
"We will make it you and me together little one. I love you Annie Rose."
"Oh Gail I love you too and yes we will."
Jason pulls Gail's wheelchair back so everyone else can talk to Annie.
"Annie Rose, how are you feeling, baby girl? We were so worried about you. You had all of us scared we didn't know what was going to happen with you."
"Oh mom I am doing better now and I didn't mean to worry you all. I know what happened to me couldn't be helped and with me in a coma for so long. I am sure it put a lot of stress and worry on all of you. I am doing good and I will continue to get better everyday ain't that right doc?"
"Yes Annie that is right. Now I think everyone should go and eat lunch so you can rest now and they can continue with this later. It has been a busy day for you."
"Yes Annie he is right. We will go and grab a bite to eat and come back later this evening. Is that alright doc?"
"Yes, yes that will be fine as long as this young lady rests in the meantime."
"Yes Dr. Blackmon I will rest some. I will see you all later this evening. I love you all so very much."
They all walk over to her bed and hug and kiss her and tell her they all love her and glad she is awake and with them.
"Doc, what can I have to eat?"
"Well since you have just come out of a coma I would suggest soup but not a lot. You don't have anything on your stomach and it will upset you and you might get sick."
"Yes love I agree with doc you just need soup for now."
"Are you going with them to eat?"
"No my darling I am staying right here with you like I have been since the doctor released me."
"Good." she smiles at him.
"Annie, I will bring you and Chris some food before we all go home and rest some ourselves."
"Ok thank you Jason."
"Wait a minute y'all I am sorry I didn't take time to talk to you all but I had to know what happened to us and I know there is more that Chris is not telling. I love you all and I will see you all later."
"That's alright Annie, we knew there would be questions and we will all be able to sit and talk more when they release you from the hospital. Right now you need your rest and not worry about anything. We all love you."
"Ok then I will see you all later."
Everyone left.
"Annie I don't want you asking Chris too many questions about what is going on alright? You need your rest and not to worry right now. I am sure Ray, Carrick and your security are handling it and will tell you everything in the coming weeks. I do not want any pressure and stress on you. You need to heal and get your strength back. We do not need a relapse."
"Yes sir I will be good. Any idea when I am getting out of here?"
"Now young lady it is too soon to even think about that right now. We will talk about that later with the progress you make. You will need therapy to help with your arms and legs. You have been in this bed for over a month. Chris has moved you side to side and on your back so you wouldn't get bed sores. He has done a really good job of taking care of you. This young man loves you so much."
"Alright doc we will take it day by day but know that I am going to do everything I need to do so I can get out of here sooner rather than later. Yes I know he does and I love him just as much."
"I don't doubt that a bit but let's not overdo it, yes?"
"No, I won't overdo it I promise."
"Good I will leave you two for now. I see your food is here. Now you eat what you can. You don't have to eat it all at once. Remember what I said about your tummy being empty. Just a little at a time Annie."
"Yes sir I remember."
"Alright see you both on my rounds this evening."
Dr. Blackmon walks out and shuts the door.
"Here you go soup for you Annie and I Chris I got you the brisket, fries and slaw."
"Oh that smells so good."
"Yes love it does and it is delicious. I have had it a few times since you have been here."
"Oh ok. Now will you two tell me tomorrow some of what you are keeping from me?"
"Doc said to wait a while. We will see how you are by the first of next week. That is only four days from now, love."
"I don't want to wait that long but I guess you are right. Just tell me they have the ones that did this to us."
"Yes Annie they do, they are in jail and not going anywhere."
"Alright go and eat Jason and we will see you all later."
Jason walks out the door and they eat their meal.
"This soup is very good. Do you want the rest of it? My tummy is telling me it's full and I haven't eaten half of it yet. I don't want to throw it away."
"You don't want to save it for later? I ask the nurses to put it in their fridge for you. I am sure they wouldn't mind."
"Yes you can ask them. Call them from here."
"Alright love yes I was going to page them from here."
"Good, I don't want to be left alone."
"I will not leave you love unless I have to go to the bathroom ok?"
"Yes Boo thank you."
He presses the button for the nurses station.
"Yes may I help you Ms. Annie?"
"Yes, can you come to her room for a moment when you have a minute?"
"Yes sir I will be right there."
She seems a little anxious to see you."
"Well I am not anxious to see her. I don't even know who she is."
There is a knock on the door and he tells them to come in.
The nurse walks in and does a double take when she sees Chris. They all do.
"Ms. Annie, what can I do for you?"
The whole time looking at Chris.
Annie waves her hand to get her attention.
"Nurse Tory I am over here."
"Yes ma'am what do you need?"
She looks at Annie then glances back at Chris.
"Well for one you can stop looking at my fiancée like he is a piece of meat. Please send me another nurse in here that is more professional than you seem to be."
"I am sorry Ms. Annie right away."
She scurries out of the room as fast as she can,
"Are they all like that when they see you Chris?"
"Some yes but I have put them in their place and they know not to mess with me. Mom and Carla have jumped some of them too. I don't know Nurse Tory, this is the first time she has been here since you have been here."
Well damn I know you are gorgeous but do that have to be so..hell I don't know so obvious about it. That is not professional at all."
"Yes love I know it's not and there have been a few that won't be coming back to your room again."
"Why? What happened? Or do I want to know?"
"Well yes a few of them were talking about you and saying that you weren't going to be any good for me if you came out of your coma. That I needed someone else. Let's just say they are no longer nurses here and probably won't be anywhere else by the time the reports get out on them."
"Did they try to flirt with you?"
"Yes sweetheart they did and Elliot did too. He jumped them and told them to stay the hell out of your room. He told them I was engaged to this beautiful girl in this bed and I didn't want anyone else. Needless to say they were gone that day. They are the ones that were talking about you and that in itself was not professional."
"I see well I will talk to Dr. Blackmon later and see what he says about the nurses here."
There is a knock on the door.
"Come in."
"Ms. Steele I am Nurse Geraldine. What can I do for you sugar? I am so glad to see you are awake and doing good. Mr. Grey, how are you today sir?"
"Would it be possible to put my bowl of soup in your fridge for later. I just can't eat anymore right now."
"Of course sugar I will take care of that. By the way Nurse Tory looked well either mad or upset when she told me you wanted another nurse."
"Yes ma'am I did. I think she was mad and upset because I asked for another she did was look at Chris and not acknowledge me in the least. I know he is gorgeous but it wasn't professional to treat me like she did."
"Yes hun I know what you mean. I am lord, nearly sixty years old and I have eyes. I am old but I am not dead. But everyone knows he is your fiancée and they have been told time and again to treat him as such. Yes I know there have been a few that are no longer employed here for being stupid."
They all laugh at that.
"Don't you worry hun I am here now and I will be taking care of you on this shift and your other two nurses Becky and Gloria will be here in the morning. Don't fret, they are not straight out of nursing school. They are both very professional and they have taken very good care of you since you were brought in here."
"Thank you ma'am."
"Your nurse for tonight will be Connie. She is my sister and she is very professional as well. Mr. Grey, has met her a few times? We try not to bother you too much during the night. We can monitor you from the nurses station. I will be in a few minutes to check your vitals and then leave you be for a while."
"Alright thank you ma'am."
She walks out and closes the door behind her.
"Well she seems to be very professional. I like her."
"Yes she is very nice and has taken good care of you."
"That's good to know. Will you lower my bed some more please?"
"Yes love but not too much Dr. Blackmon doesn't want you flat on your back right now."
"That's alright I don't want to be flat on my back unless it is with you on top of me."
"Annie Rose I am shocked. How could you say that when I haven't made love to you in over a month."
"I am sorry Boo but it is the truth and I haven't made love with you either. We will get back to ourselves as soon as Dr. Blackmon gives me the all clear."
"Well the way it looks as of right now you will probably have your casts on for a few more weeks before he takes them off then therapy. I just hope it won't be two more weeks before you are released. I miss you in our bed and holding you."
"I do to Chris. I am so sorry you have had to go through this while I lay here in a coma. Not knowing if and when I was going to wake up. I love you so much Christian Grey."
"No, no I don't want to hear that. It wasn't your fault that this happened to you. Do you hear me love?"
"Yes but you have had to suffer right along with everyone else. I know it has taken a toll on you and them."
"If we didn't love you my darling we wouldn't be here and worrying about you. You are my life and I was not going to leave you. I have everything at work taken care of and when you get better we will take it one day at a time."
"Yes, yes you are right. Now I have a very important question: when are we getting married?"
She is smiling at him and he is smiling back at her.
"I want you to get better first love. I do want to marry you sooner than what we planned though. I talked to our parents and they agreed with me. I told them you never know what is going to happen and I want you as my wife as soon as you are well enough to go shopping for a gown and we do all the things we need to get this rolling."
"Yes, yes, yes I am ready to marry you ASAP. but I know I have to heal and get better first. We have a lot of planning to do you know."
"Yes love we do. We have the venue where we are getting married in our backyard down by the lake right? That hasn't changed has it?"
"No love that hasn't changed. We will just need to change a few things since it won't be a spring wedding. How does a December wedding sound to you my love?"
"Whatever and whenever you want my darling."
"Alright then we will talk to our moms. We will need a wedding planner for this cause it will be in a few months but I know we can do it. We will have to change the venue we can't have a wedding in the winter down by the lake. It will be too cold.
"Yes love we sure can and leave the venue to me and Elliot. We will still get at home but in a different place. Let me talk it over with El then I will tell you what I am thinking alright?"
"Yes, that will be fine. I can't wait to be Mrs. Grey."
A time jump three weeks
"Love, are you ready to blow this popsicle stand and get out of here?"
"Oh my lord, yes I am. I just hate that I have to wear the casts on my legs for two more weeks. But since Doc Blackmon said I can go home I am a happy camper."
"I can't wait to get you home. Just a warning everyone is at the house. Our moms said it is a welcome home celebration."
"Oh heavens, I am not coming home from war just from this hospital."
"I know love but you know how they are and don't get me started on our grandmothers. Heaven forbid for me to do anything right to please them."
She looks at him, cocking her head to the side.
"Don't look at me like that. You know how they are. They wouldn't let me take you to therapy cause they wanted to be there with you. They wouldn't let me help you bathe. Oh no they said I couldn't do it right without getting your casts wet. Then who was it that got your right leg cast wet and your arm? None other than my grandmother."
"Oh Chris it will be alright. You are here with me, that is all that matters. These women must have forgotten that it was you that gave me sponge baths when I was in a coma and it was you that brushed my hair and it was you that turned me side to side and it was you that changed my nightgowns and it was you that held me while my bed was being changed and it was you not them when my lips needed moisturizing so they wouldn't get dry, crack and bleed. Them old women forgot all that."
"Yeah well they are getting up in age. Don't you dare tell them I said that."
They both laugh.
Dr. Blackmon walks in.
"This is how I like to see my patients happy and laughing. Annie, are you ready to get out of this one horse town? I know you are. Now here are your discharge papers you need to sign where the X is. I am writing you a prescription for eight hundred milligrams of Tylenol. Take one when you get them cause all the moving around you will be doing you will need something to help the pain in your chest and ribs."
"Alright thank you Dr. Blackmon for everything."
"You are very welcome Annie. You take care of her Chris and if you need me before your appointment in two weeks call me."
"Yes sir we will. Hopefully all will be good."
"Alright then Ms. Annie Rose, you take care and I will see you in my office in two weeks. Good luck and don't try to put any pressure on your legs even though they are still in casts."
"Yes sir I have a wheelchair and this strong loving fiancée to carry me around if need be."
They all laugh.
"Yes my dear you do and I am sure if you would let him he would carry you everywhere. Good luck Annie and take care. Are there any questions?"
"No sir and again thank you for everything sir."
"My pleasure Chris bye for now y'all."
Dr. Blackmon walks out and Jason walks in with a blue and gray wheelchair.
"Hello Annie your chariot awaits my lady."
"Hey Jason, mighty fancy little ride you have there."
"Yes, only the best for Princess Annie Rose."
"Oh lord, not you too."
"Let's go home love. Jason is Luke with you?"
"Yes Chris he is and I have Steve and Jacob in the car behind us."
"Good I need you to give this prescription to them and have them take our pharmacy and have it filled for Annie Rose. All her information is on it."
"Alright I will give it to them after we get you and Annie in the car. Y'all are my number one priority at the moment."
"Alright let's go."
They are going by the nurses station.
"Ms. Annie, wait a minute please?"
"Yes Nurse Geraldine."
"I just wanted to say I am so happy that you are doing so much better and going home. It has been a joy taking care of you and well we all are going to miss you. We have something for you."
The nurses walk from the back of the nurses station and give Annie a beautiful bouquet of colorful flowers.
"Oh mercy this is gorgeous but you all didn't have to. I feel like I should be doing this for y'all."
"No sweet girl we wanted to as I said it has been a joy being there for you helping you when you needed it."
She looks from Chris to Jason and knows they are going to do something.
"Well thank you all and I appreciate everything you all have done for me."
They all wave goodbye and say get well soon.
Jason takes them to elevators and once the door opens they get in.
"I know you are planning something. What is it?"
"We are going to send the nurses flowers on behalf of you and Gail."
"Thank you, that's what I thought when I saw y'all looking at each other. Let me and Gail pick them out."
"Alright love you and Gail can pick them out and we will deliver them ourselves."
"Good now let's go home. I miss my home."
They rode the elevator down and when the doors opened Chris wheeled her to the sliding glass doors. They waited for Luke to give the all clear.
"All good Jason."
"All is clear Chris, let's get our girl in the car."
Chris got her in the car and Jason put the wheelchair in the back. He walked to the other car and gave them Annie's prescription to have it filled now.
He walks back to their car and gets in the driver's seat and takes them home.
They pull up to the house about twenty minutes later to a yard full of balloons of every color you could think of. There was a huge welcome home sign out front and streamers hanging from the trees and over the doors.
"Oh my stars don't you all think they went a little overboard here?"
"Yes love they did but I kept my mouth shut."
"Yeah Annie we both know it is but don't tell the ladies that. They ran us all out of the house and made us eat with the rest of the security guys yesterday. You know when Chris came home to get your clothes while you were in therapy. They were doing this."
"Ok well let's go inside and get this big celebration over with. I am already tired."
"We can send them all home love if you want us too."
"No, no we can't do that. We will celebrate with them. I know they mean well and all bless their hearts but I just wanted to come home and relax."
"We will just cut this celebration a little short love."
They help Annie out of the car and into the wheelchair. Chris pushes her through all the balloons and up the walkway to the front door.
Jason opens the door and through the mountain of streamers Chris brings her in the house.
Everyone is standing there waiting for her.
"Oh my baby girl is home. How are you honey? Are you tired? Do you want to eat? We have all your favorite foods."
"Mom, momma calm down, I am alright. I just want to get out of this chair and sit on the couch please."
"Annie, which couch do you want to sit on love?'
"The long blue one Boo. I can put my legs on it and you will still have room to sit with me."
He pushes her over to the couch.
"Put your arms around me love and I will pick you up."
She does as he says.
He sits her down on the couch and moves her legs up on the couch so she is sitting longways.
"Want something to drink love?"
"Yes sweet tea if there is any."
"I believe your mom made some yesterday. I'll be right back."
He walks back in with a large glass of sweet tea.
She drinks some.
"Yes, that hit the spot. Now what do we have to eat? I am starving. My breakfast at the hospital wasn't enough."
"Well dear we have meatloaf, fried chicken, brisket, slaw, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, green beans, macaroni with your four kinds of cheese. Colby Jack, Sharp Cheddar, mozzarella and gouda cheese. For dessert we have your red velvet cake and Chris's chocolate cake. We made y'all some cupcakes and cookies for later."
"Oh my goodness that sounds so good. Alright let's go and eat. Oh wait, I have to eat in here." She looks sad.
"No Annie Rose you don't. Put your arms around me and hold on tight,"
He walks them to the kitchen and there is a new table next to the window with a bench seat so Annie can sit there and eat with her family.
"Oh Boo I love it. Who made this?"
"I told Elliot what I wanted and he got with our dads and they designed it for you. It is one of a kind like all of their furniture is."
"It is beautiful, thank you all for it. Now I can sit here and read sometimes."
"You are welcome little lady, we were happy to do it for you."
Chris has filled her plate with a little bit of everything.
"Here you go sweetheart."
"Wow Boo thank you this looks so good."
They all fill their plates and eat and talk.
Jason gets a text.
"Chris, I have to go and get Annie's medicine. I will be right back."
"Medicine, what are you taking Annie?"
"Dr. Blackmon prescribed some Tylenol for me to take the pain away if I started hurting from chest or my ribs. He told me to take one when I got them because he knew moving around a lot would probably having me hurting some."
"Yes I can see how that could happen. Are you alright? Do you need to go and lay down so you can rest?"
"No mom I am alright for now, just a little tired is all but i don't want to go and lay down."
"Well you tell us if you do and we will all go home and see you tomorrow."
"I will let you all know when I get ready to go to lay down."
"Are you ready to go back into the living room sweetheart?"
"Yes please and I will have my cake in there and you all grab y'all a piece and join me."
Chris takes Annie back into the living room and positions her back on the couch."
"Here you go baby girl, enjoy."
"Thank you momma Grace."
They all have their cake and are sitting around eating and talking.
They finish their cake and the plates are taken back to the kitchen.
"Alright now that we are all here and I am home and doing better. I want to know who it was that tried to kill me and Gail? I don't want no hem hawing around. I want the truth now."
"I knew she wasn't going to put this off much longer."
"Here comes Jason with her medicine."
"Annie it says take one every eight hours for pain."
"Thank you Jason I will take one now like Dr. Blackmon said for me to do. Please sit down with Gail. You all are going to tell me what you have been keeping from me for weeks now."
"Who wants to start?"
"I will Chris since I talked to him after the helicopter blew up."
"Alright."
"Annie do you remember a guy that you both went to college with whose name was Edward Williamson but everyone called him Eddie?"
"Yes he was a real jerk, him and his bitch of a girlfriend Callie I think was her name. What about him?"
"Ok now do you remember right before you and Gail walked out of the conference room what we were discussing?"
She thinks back.
"Yes we were talking about some guy that was watching me cause Gail saw the way he was looking at me. Like he hated me. I think you all said his name was Floyd Atkins. Am I right?"
"Yes love."
"Ok so what does he have to do with what happened and what connection is he to Eddie?"
"Well Annie they are the same person?"
"Come again Jason?"
"Remember Gail saying he looked like he was wearing green contacts?"
"Yes. So you are saying they are the same person but what does that have to do with the bombing?"
She is getting agitated and everyone can see it.
"Calm down love here, drink some water and Jason will continue."
She calms down and drinks half a bottle of water.
"Ok Jason I'm listening."
"Alright well you know he was a mechanic for you and he was the one that checked out your helicopter to make sure it was safe to fly when you were ready to take the next tour up."
She just sits there waiting for him to speak again.
"Ok well he put the bombs on your helicopter and had it rigged when you opened the door it would blow up. Then the second bomb went off. He had a third one but it wasn't set to blow until you were in the air."
"Oh my god he wanted me dead and whoever was with me. Oh dear god Gail and I and my group could have died in the air. Oh lord what did I do to him? I barely spoke to him in college."
"Annie Rose breathe with me. Come on love breathe with me. That's it in and out in and out. Look at me love, look at me Annie focus on my voice. Look at me Anastasia. Open your eyes and look at me. That's it breathe with me come on no one is going to hurt you you are safe you are here with me and our family. We have Jason and all of our security around here twenty four seven. No one is going to come after you, they are in jail."
"Here Annie drinks this. Chris put this wet cloth on her forehead."
"Annie, they are in jail and they are going to stay there. Do you hear me sweet girl? They won't hurt us anymore."
"Gail on my god you could have been killed with me."
"Yes I could have but the good lord was looking out for us. Even though it doesn't seem like it, I have to believe he was because we didn't get up in the air."
"Yes Gail I know what you are saying. I am alright now y'all. But why did he do this?"
"Annie, let's talk about that tomorrow. You need to rest and regroup. You have been told a lot today and you had us all worried something was going to happen to you. Poor Chris was doing everything to keep you from having a panic attack. So can we come back to this discussion tomorrow?"
"Yes dad we can and I am sorry I scared you all but yes you are right we need to table this for now. I need to go and lay down. I love you all, thank you for the celebration and the wonderful food. I will see you all tomorrow."
"I'm going to take her to our room and I will be right back to see you all out. Please wait for me."
They all sit back down.
"Come on love, let's get you to bed."
He carries her to their bed and helps her undress and change into a nightgown.
"I'll be right back love. Do you need anything before I go and tell everyone goodnight?"
"No, just hurry back Boo."
"I will be right back darling."
He kisses her and walks out of the bedroom.
He walks back to the living room and talks with the family for a few minutes.
"I knew we shouldn't have told her anything. But we all know how stubborn she is and when she wants something she wants it now. I am going to go back in there with her. You all go on home if I need you I will call. I think she just needs some rest. I am not sure how she is going to handle the rest of this discussion tomorrow but I believe she needs to know why they did this."
"Yes Chris you are right and do you think we need to have Dr. Blackmon here if she gets like she did a while ago?"
"I don't know. I think I will call him in the morning and see what he has to say about this."
"Alright well we are going to go on home if you need us call us no matter what time it is."
"Yes sir I will goodnight all. I love you all so much."
They all say we love you too and walk out of the house.
He turns around and sees Gail and Jason cleaning up.
"What in the world are you two doing? I mean I see what you are doing but why?"
"Well Chris it needed to be done and you know that Annie doesn't like a dirty kitchen a bit more than I do. I know the temp service will be here tomorrow but I can't leave this mess in here any longer. You go on and rest with Annie. We will be fine and we will lock up when we leave. Jason is going to let Luke and the guys know when we leave."
"Alright, thank you both and goodnight. We will see you tomorrow."
He walks off and goes to the bedroom. He undresses down to his boxers and gets under the covers with his lady love.
Annie wakes up and sees it is dark outside. She stretches as much as she can with Chris wrapped around her like a vine. He is mindful of her casts though. How she doesn't know but he is.
"Chris, Boo wake up love I have to go to the bathroom."
"Christian Grey, wake your butt up."
She pushes on him and he finally stirs.
"Chris, wake up, I need the bathroom."
"Oh love, I am so sorry. Let me get up and I will carry you in there."
He walks around the bed and picks her up and carries her to the bathroom. He helps her pull her panties down and sits her on the commode so she can do her business. He turns around and walks out the door and stands there waiting for her to call him. He knows she doesn't like him in there with her.
"Ok Boo I am ready."
He walks back in and lifts her up, holding her and pulling her panties back up. He carries her over to the sink so she can wash her hands and brush her teeth.
"All done love? Do you want to go back to bed or to the living room?"
"I want to go to the media room and watch a movie."
"Do you want to get dressed or just put on a robe?"
"Find me my gray robe, the long one please. It should be hanging in the closet."
He walks out of the closet with her robe.
He helps her put it on and zips it up.
"Boo you need some pants or shorts on."
"Oh lord yes I do don't I?"
They both laugh.
He gets his pants on and he carries her to the media room. He sits her in their double recliner and kisses her softly.
"Would you like something to drink and maybe some fresh popcorn?"
"Yes, that would be lovely, thank you. I 'll have a bottle of water to drink."
He fixes their popcorn and brings it and some bottles of water back over the table beside her and it sits the water down and hands her the popcorn.
"Oh this is good. What movie are we going to watch?"
"You pick love."
"I know how about an Elvis Presley movie?"
"Now how did I know you were going to say that.?"
"Because you know me so well and we both love his movies. How about Blue Hawaii and then we can have some supper."
"Sounds good to me. That's the movie where he marries his girl in Hawaii in a Hawaiian ceremony right?"
"Yes love it is. Perfect movie for us. We haven't told the family yet about when we wanted to get married. We can tell them tomorrow."
"Yes it is perfect and so are you my sweet darling soon to be wife. Yes we will tell them tomorrow and watch their eyes get as big as saucers. But they will be happy for us."
"Yes love they will be. We will hold off on the discussion we were going to have and talk about our wedding."
"Works for me. I love you Little Annie Rose soon to be Grey. Damn I can't wait until I can call you Mrs. Grey."
"I love you too, my darling sweet soon to be husband and I can't wait to be your wife. Now let's watch the movie and maybe get some ideas for our wedding."
"Sounds good to me, love, sounds really good to me."
She giggles and kisses his greasy popcorn lips.
