Mysterious Invite to a Deadly Showdown
It has been only a single day since Polnareff, Tomo, and Nate separated from the group to search for J. Geil to deliver some justice from all the lives he killed, but their search has been unsuccessful as they have search through all the streets and cities. They have tried asking around every people they think could provide some good information, but no one knew of the man in their description.
Not to mention it's raining very hard on the day, but the three didn't care about the rain as they have a mission to accomplish and they weren't going to let a let slow them down.
"Damn it!" Polnareff cursed as he walks away from the weird looking old man.
"Thank you for all you can to tell us." Tomo bowed at the old man.
"Another lost cause, it would seem." Nate sighed; they have not found a thing about J. Geil.
"We can't give up hope, something about that man is bound to turn up sooner or later." Tomo refused to give up.
"But it's like the trying to find a needle in a haystack, only the haystack is the entire city and probably outside of that too." Polnareff clutched his fists.
"Don't lose your cool, I'm sure that is exactly what the enemy wants to get the jump on us for the kill." Tomo advised.
"I better inform the others that our search isn't going well so far." Nate took out her phone and texted the rest of the group about their search.
"Avdol is probably thinking about lecturing me for being a fool right now." Polnareff grunted.
(With Jotaro and Others)
Jotaro is seen standing in the lobby of the hotel with the others as they are waiting for the ride, they called for to come pick them up in a while, then he felt his jacket buzzing as he took out his phone seeing a text from Nate.
"Just got word from Nate. They haven't found J. Geil, not even from the lowly locals they asked." Jotaro informed the others.
"Damn, it's only been a day and it sounds like they are already having some trouble." Tori commented.
"I fear something bad could happen to them at any moment." Avold said.
"I'm sure they're fine, you guys are strong people and you beaten up some bad guys before too." Anne hoped she is right about that, then got a pat on the head by Kimi.
"While it is true, we are strong because of our Stands, but there are also other Stand Users with powers of their own that could make them as strong or stronger than us." Kimi stated.
"Which is why we must always be prepared for the worst coming, never let your guard down even for a moment when facing a powerful one." Makiko added.
"I just hope Polnareff and the girls don't do anything crazy to find the guy." Joseph concerned.
"Those three are capable of looking after each other, I'm sure they'll be fine by the time we see them again." Kakayoin believed.
"Let us hope you are right." Avdol said as he looks out the window and staring at the cloudy sky.
"(But I cannot shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen to them.)" Avdol thought worried for the three.
(With Polnareff's Group)
"Did you really have to buy that little wolf craving from that shop?" Polnareff asked.
Nate is smiling very happy with a small wood craving of a wolf in her hand and humming a cheerful tone as well.
"Sorry, seeing this just reminds me of my mother and I thought I should get her a present from another country and we really like wolves." Nate explained.
"It's adorable, I'm sure your mom would love it." Tomo complimented.
"Okay, okay, the present is cute and all, but don't forget about what we're out here for." Polnareff reminded them of the search for J. Geil.
Nate looks around and saw one old man sitting alone under the cover to avoid the rain and her instincts are telling her to go ask that old man, she gentle put the wolf present for her mother in her bag and walks up to the old man with Polnareff and Tomo being close behind to make sure nothing bad happens.
"Excuse me, sir?" Nate talked to the old man who turns his attention to her.
"Have you by any chance seen a man with an odd head and two right hands?" Nate asked.
"Two right hands?" The old man confused.
"Yeah, I doubt this old man knows anything." Polnareff decided to just leave and search elsewhere.
"Now that you mention it, I think I have seen a man with two right hands." The old man said.
This go Polnareff to stop in his tracks with his eyes widen of shock that the long search is about to come to an end, he turns around glaring at the old man and clutch his fist as he is about to walk toward the old man demanding the location of J. Geil, but Tomo stops him.
"Easy, we have to remember this is just an old man minding his business." Tomo reminded.
"Do you know which way he went?" Nate asked.
"Actually, it's just now. He's over there." The old man pointed in one direction.
All three quickly turn their heads to see two men walking together on the street and strangely one of them doesn't appear to be getting wet from the rain at all, and in that instant moment, Tomo was able to see one of the men having two right hands. Unknown of the other one being Hol Horse.
"J. Geil!" Tomo gasped.
"J. Geil, you say." Polnareff said before turning back to the men, but surprise to only see one man now.
"Huh, that's strange. The other man was just here, I know I saw him with that other man." The old man confused.
"Sir, why don't you take a nap." Nate suggested.
"Be careful, he somehow appeared just when turned away from the old man. But I was able to see the two right hands, it was definitely him." Tomo stated.
"But what about this one? Could he be with J. Geil?" Nate asked.
"Don't care, all I want is to fine the bastard now!" Polnareff clutched his fists.
"The gun is mightier than the sword. Not bad if I do say so myself." Hol quoted, confusing Polnareff.
"Hold on, who the Hell are you, buddy?" Polnareff asked.
"Hol Horse, that's what they call me." Hol introduced himself.
"And I must say, seeing those two lovely young ladies going on a stroll with you makes me feel jealous." Hol chuckled.
"Jealous, this guy isn't really my type even though we both upheld the code of the knights, and he can be an idiot most of the time." Nate stated hurting Polnareff's feelings.
"I don't want to sound rude, but you should really do something about that attitude or else you'll end up dying alone." Tomo advised.
"Hey now, since when did this become about me dating?!" Polnareff snapped.
"In any case, if you were with that man with the two right hands then that must also mean you're a Stand User." Nate glared at Hol, getting back to the subject at hand.
"That's right, and my card is the Emperor." Hol smirked.
"(The Emperor, that's another of the Tarot cards that symbolizes order and control. This could possibly mean he is dangerous.)" Tomo thought noticed.
"Lord Dio paid me to get rid of your guys, so say your prayers and get ready for a beating." Hol mentioned Dio.
"I see, so another assassin sent by Dio to kill us." Nate glared.
"Oh yes, he also made sure to give you a very harsh punishment before killing you since you and Kakayoin betrayed us." Hol recalled.
"Silence! We were never loyal to that madman of anyway, he forced us to serve him." Nate stated angry.
"Listen here, cowboy. I don't care what you came here for, I only care about the man with two right hands who was just with you." Polnareff glared.
"Ouch, that was pretty rude." Hol said sarcastically.
"But if you must know… He was just here." Hol revealed shocking the three hero Stand Users.
"(So, he was here but then how did he disappeared like that?)" Tomo thought wondered with concern.
"Where is he?" Polnareff demanded.
"There's no point in asking me about that because I'm going to snuff all three of you out, but don't worry. You will also experience death by J. Geil's hands as well." Hol assured with an evil smirk.
Polnareff got angry of hearing that this cowboy wannabe says they're going to be killed by him alone and J. Geil, he chuckles thinking this guy is full of himself.
"Arrogant bastards are always talking trash, and it always ends up the other way around." Polnareff proclaimed.
But this causes Hol to laugh confusing the French man.
"Oh, was that funny?" Polnareff asked.
"Polnareff, you have to be really careful. We don't know what's this guy's power is with his Stand and skills he carries as well." Tomo advised to be cautious.
"Lord Dio, has you pegged. "Polnareff has the fatal habit of underestimating his opponents, beating him into a corps in no time." Like that." Hol recalled the words Dio said to him.
"He was exactly right, so I couldn't help but laugh." Hol chuckled which seems to make Polnareff a little angry.
"Except he won't be making any mistakes because we are here to fight by his side." Nate pointed out.
"That's right. I doubt you can even keep up that claim of you taking us all on at once." Tomo said as she brought out her bow Stand, Holy Archer.
"Ever heard of Military Chess? The tank is stronger than the soldier, but the tank is weaker than the mind. See, it's pretty much the basic of battle." Hol stated.
"If you're trying to see you're stronger than the three of us combined then I'm afraid you're the one underestimating us." Nate grinned.
"I'll admit, I was really worried about facing three against one until I was reminded of how strong my Stand is by my partner. Of what I can do with my Emperor, then I felt confident again to take you down." Hol smirked.
"If you want, I can tell you about my Stand. The gun is mightier than the sword, such a great quote." Hol excited.
"What are you trying to say exactly?" Polnareff asked with a slight glare.
"That I have a Stand that can shoot, and a sword simply can't beat that." Hol pointed out.
"So what, it's a peashooter?" Polnareff mocked.
"That also goes the same for the knight and maiden. Since they're both just basic fools that never held a gun before, there's no way I can be taken down." Hol mocked the two girls.
"How dare you mock the knights of old. I am going to make sure you will eat those words!" Nate grinded her teeth.
"Hold on, we can't let this guy get into our heads." Tomo tried to calm her friends down.
"Oh please, what can he even do with a peashooter?" Polnareff asked sarcastically before he starts laughing.
That's when both Polnareff and Hol are laughing at each other while some people around them are finding the scene to be strange, wondering what are those men even laughing about but the two girls didn't laugh as they knew a fight to the death is going to happen the moment the laughter ends.
"Alright, time to die!" Polnareff and Hol said at the same time while glaring at each other.
"You underestimate me, Polnareff!" Hol shouted and summoned his Stand, the Emperor, directly into his hand.
The Emperor is a silver Stand in the form of an elaborate, impractical-looking revolver with some futuristic elements. A metal frame covers the long barrel, under which is positioned a cylinder with no apparent use, as it is not connected to the barrel. It has no sight, and a large sphere is embedded in the metal frame between the hammer and the barrel.
"A gun just appeared!" Nate shocked.
"That must be what he meant that his Stand can shoot because it is a gun!" Tomo realized.
"Yep, and the first one to get the bullet is… YOU!" Hol pointed his Stand at Nate and fire the first shot.
"Don't think I'll be hit by a lousy bullet." Nate summoned her Argentées Chaînes and intercept the bullet.
"(I just have to block the bullet's path then smack it right back at this western man.)" Nate thought quickly moved one chain to block the bullet.
But strangely and surprisingly the bullet actually moves from its flying course to go over the one chain shocking the knight girl.
"What the…?!" Nate shocked and on instinct, the other three chains tried smacking the bullet away.
However, that did not work as the bullet flow around the chains then shot right through Nate's left leg causing her to fall and screaming in pain.
"Fuck, it hurts!" Nate screamed.
"No way, you saw that too, right, Tomo?" Polnareff asked gasping.
"I did, the bullet suddenly change it's flying path like it was alive!" Tomo shocked as well.
"That's because the bullets are also part of my Stand, which means I can make them move in other directions in anyway I want to go in for the kill." Hol explained with a smirk.
"Now it's time for the maiden to rest in the dirt." Hol shot another bullet at Tomo.
"Not one my watch, Holy Archer!" Tomo fired the arrow of light.
"Stop that bullet!" Tomo commanded as the light arrow went faster as well.
The bullet was about to change its flight course to dodge the arrow though clash onto each other's sides causing the bullet to make a bullet wound cut on her shoulder.
"Fuck, that hurts." Tomo groaned as she grips on her shoulder, but glad she was able to avoid getting a fatal wound.
"Hmm, it looks like you were able to avoid death for a little while longer." Hol impressed with her move.
"(Holy fuck, this guy was able to take down Nate and Tomo. I'll have to be really careful with how I fight this guy.)" Polnareff thought readided himself.
"I hope you're ready because I hate for you to fall so easily like how your pathetic little sister died like a loser." Hol mocked the dead sister of Polnareff.
Polnareff's eyes widen from hearing the insulting words that stupid cowboy just said about his sister's death being pathetic and calling her a loser, the thoughts of keeping his composure has been washed away and gone on full angry mode.
"You're going to get a very ugly death!" Polnareff shouted in rage.
"Polnareff, don't let him reel you in like that!" Nate tried to warn him.
"Tell your sister I said hello, when you see her in Hell!" Hol fired the bullet at Polnareff.
Polnareff quickly got Silver Chariot to take off its armor to move faster and to hopefully slice the bullet before it can move in midair, but that plan didn't work as the bullet from the Emperor still dodges the thin blade and going right for Polnareff in the head.
"Polnareff, get down!" Avdol jumped in and tackle Polnareff down for the bullet to miss.
"What the fuck?" Hol shocked.
"What, Avdol?" Polnareff surprised.
"I guess Avdol must've been worried and came to check up on us. Good thing I also send in the location of where we have been." Tomo relieved.
"It would seem you let your ego get the better of you. Be more careful of how you do your battles." Avdol lectured the man.
"Hold on, you're lecturing me now?" Polnareff asked angry, couldn't believe he is getting lecture at a time like this.
"Look out, the bullet is coming back!" Nate alerted as the bullet that was meant for Polnareff's head is turning around.
"I'll deal with it." Avdol said as he brought out his Magician Red to melt the bullet.
However, no one notice the Hang Man has appeared in the reflection of the puddle behind Avdol as it stabs him in the back with the blade causing blood to come out from behind and right after that the bullet came right at the head with blood coming out.
Polnareff, Tomo, and Nate gasp in fear that Avdol has just been attacked in both ways at the same time and worried for the worse.
"Avdol?!" Polnareff screamed.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Polnareff and the girls seem to have gotten themselves in a forced showdown against Hol Horse as he managed to take down Nate and greatly wound Tomo on the shoulder, Avdol comes in to save the day only to end up getting shot and stab on the spot by the duo enemy Stand Users.
