Back to school, normally kids aren't too happy hear that sort of thing but in the case for Timmy and Chloe this was going to be a relaxing day. After the whole Crocker incident, it was nice to just have a normal day at school. As they walked to school and talked about what they have planned for the day, their fairies accompanied them in the form of hummingbirds.
"So you've actually convinced people at our school to start an environmental club?" Timmy asked Chloe. "Did I miss a wish or something?"
"Believe it or not Timmy, there are actually kids in our school that care about the world around them.
"That's so weird, I always thought all the kids in school follow the same trend together."
"Timmy don't be silly." Chloe chuckled at the idea. "The kids around us aren't just some minor characters who stand in the background and have the same thoughts."
"I guess I need to relax a bit on the cartoons."
TheAwesomeCoolJay: I don't know about that, shows like Ed, Edd, n Eddy & Aqua Teen Hunger Force taught me a lot.
"Enough about me, what are your plans for today?" She asked.
"Just normal school stuff, but me and the guys are going to play basketball for recess." The boy explaining his activities to her. "You should watch me Chloe, cause I never miss-miss-miss-"
"Okay Timmy I get it you won't miss."
"No, Missy!"
Chloe was confused at what he meant by that so she decided to get her answer by looking in the direction he was looking at. What she saw was a girl talking to two boys by the school sign. She figured the name Missy belonged to the girl and that moment a feeling of unease came to Chloe as she slowly looked back at Timmy. To her misfortune, she saw that he was looking at Missy affectionately.
"Oh great, another one." The little blonde said unhappy while crossing her arms.
"Oh that's right, how could we forget Missy?" Wanda remembering Timmy's other crush.
"Feels like we haven't seen her in a long time." Poof added on to what his mother said.
"It's surprising to see her now, I thought she was one and done." Cosmo commented on her appearance. "Try not to spaz out Timmy."
"Why would I do that Cosmo?"
"Cause here she comes!"
He wasn't kidding, Timmy took his eyes of his fairy and looked ahead to see Missy was coming this way. Timmy frantically fixed himself up, making sure there was nothing in his teeth, checking to see his fly was, and making sure his hair was nice. Chloe was annoyed by the whole thing but she prepared herself to meet Missy, as the latter was now in speaking range of the two of them.
"Hey there Timmy, it's so good to you again." Missy greeting him, then putting her attention to the girl she hasn't met. "And hello to you too, I'm Missy."
"Chloe Carmichael." She greeted Missy, very surprised that she wasn't hostile like the other two girls she met.
Oh cool, your the new girl I heard so much about." The strawberry blonde said very excited. "It's an honor to finally meet you."
"Aw thanks, but I'm not all that special."
"Hey so you like Chloe, well she's a friend of mine and me and you are friends Missy, that means we can hang out!" Timmy happily but at the same time nervously brought up.
Chloe let out a small groan at Timmy's attempt to try to get closer with Missy, while the latter chuckled at what he had said. That chuckle would slowly fade into a bit of sad face, this was because Missy actually had some bad news to tell.
"Timmy that would be great, but I can't."
"Oh okay I get it, let you two hang out first, give you two some girl time."
"Timmy I won't be able to hang out with either of you two, or anyone in Dimmsdale."
"Why's that?"
"Because I'm leaving Dimmsdale." Missy revealing her shocking news.
Chloe and the fairies were surprised to hear such news, Timmy on the other hand took it a little harder. If anyone had a way to view Timmy's heart right now, they would see it was completely shattered at that point.
"Why?" The boy's voice cracked.
"My parents say that Dimmsdale is too dangerous... and weird to live." She explained. "I was absent from school for so long because my parents were handling the paperwork of transferring me to a new school and finding a new place to live."
TheAwesomeCoolJay: I mean your parents are making a great decision. Dimmsdale and any place with superheroes is place one should leave immediately.
"So today's my last day, but on the bright side I properly told everyone goodbye." Missy said as she turned around and walked towards school. "And another bright side is that we finally have a environmental club in our school."
When she entered the school, there was a silence between Timmy, Chloe, and their fairies. Although Chloe was a little jealous, she couldn't help but feel bad for Timmy right now.
"Timmy are you going to be-"
"Chloe I need you to do me the biggest favor!" Timmy interrupting his friend and placing his hand on her shoulders.
"Okay."
"I need you to to convince Missy from not moving!"
"Timmy that's her parents' decision, what makes you think I can change it?" She replied back, while holding back a bit of her anger. "Why are you trying so hard to prevent this?"
"Because she's my last chance."
Chloe's stern look soften when she saw some tears slowly form in the corner of Timmy's eyes. This moment was so tense, that Poof flew and hid behind his parents, who in turn watched the scene with worried looks on their faces.
"What does that mean?"
"I have a therapist for my Trixie problems and after many, MANY sessions I came to terms that Trixie might not like me back." The young Turner admits. "So when Missy came into my life, I saw a chance to start over."
"Are you serious about this?" Chloe asked while looking in Timmy's eyes.
"I could use magic to change that decision, but I need this to be real if I want to start a relationship."
"All right." The young Carmichael said with a heavy sigh. "I'll see what I can do."
"Your the best Chloe." He tells her as he releases her and heads to school. "Okay Cosmo fill me in about the basketball game.
"They don't stand a chance." Cosmo tells Timmy as he transforms into pencil a places himself on Timmy's ear.
As the two of them entered the building, Wanda and Poof transformed into books and placed themselves in Chloe's hands. Now alone, the three of them could discuss their reaction to this plan.
"Are you okay with this?" Wanda asked her goddaughter.
"I'm conflicted, but maybe I can solve both of my problems."
"How?" Poof questioned.
"Maybe when I try to convince her to stay, Missy might reveal something that Timmy might not like."
"Like what?"
"I don't know Poof but she has to have a flaw, nobody's perfect."
"Yeah we got that from you." The fairy baby teased.
"We're trying to find her flaws, not discuss mine!"
Later in school
The environmental club had their own little room to themselves, with all the equipment needed to protect their planet. Equipment for kids anyway. The club consisted of many boys and girls, but they all recognized Chloe as the leader. Speaking of her, she sat in her chair with Wanda the book opened up in her face, secretly peeking at Missy to find a mistake.
"So Chloe what's our plan today?" A boy asked.
"Oh, uh, today we will be cleaning our playground." Chloe told them all. "The place we are meant to have fun in shouldn't be populated with litter."
"Chloe's right." Missy agreeing with her. "And to make things even better for the environment around us, I say the recyclables we find should be reused."
All of the members of club cheered for that plan, even Chloe was happy to hear such a good deed. Poof transformed into a bookmarker and placed himself in one of Wanda's pages.
"I thought we were looking for something bad?" Poof asked Chloe.
"Dang it!" She said as she hit her against Wanda.
"That's one way of hitting the books." Wanda commented on.
Later again... recess
Outside on the basketball court, Timmy's confidence from before was gone when it came time to play basketball. Chester and A.J. were a team, while Timmy had to choose either Elmer or Sanjay. Cosmo was in Timmy's hands in the form of a basketball and the boy looked at with a not so happy look.
"I thought you said they don't stand a chance." The boy said.
"I did, they meant either one you pick." Cosmo told him.
While Timmy struggled to pick who was going to be on his team, the environmental stood over by the fence and were doing there part. Chloe was working, but kept an eye on Missy. She really wanted to find a mistake with but it seemed like Missy was actually a good person, and probably the best choice for Timmy. Poof and Wanda were by her in the forms of trash bags.
"Guys I think we should... you know the Q word."
"No way we can't qui-"
"Language!" Chloe quickly stopping Poof from saying quit.
"He is right though Chloe." Wanda agreeing with what her son was about to say. "Don't you want to be with Timmy?"
"I do, but Missy looks to be the best choice Timmy could ask for." She explained sounding a bit upset. "I need her to stay with him."
"Well it will be hard for him to be with her if she got sprayed by a skunk." Poof replied.
Before she question that, Chloe saw that Poof had changed from a bag and into a small skunk. He quickly ran to Missy and his intent was to spray her, Chloe knew she didn't deserve this and ran to stop him. Missy was happily picking up recyclables, until she felt something that felt a little furry than plastic. Looking in her hand, Missy saw that she picked up a skunk.
"Hello there little guy, can I ask you kindly to not spray me?" She asked nervously, but politely as she put him down.
Poof ignored the plea and got ready to spray Missy with the foul stench. She was about to get it too, but fortunately for her Chloe was push her out of the way of the skunk spray.
"Thanks Chloe, I knew you were a good person." Missy thankful to be saved, but confused to see her savior upset. "What's wrong Chloe?"
"Nothing, I just wish that the skunk and his family will stay put in my room."
Hearing the phrase I wish, the fairies had no choice but to listen to Chloe's words. The disappearance of Cosmo caused Timmy to glance over to see what was happening with Chloe.
"Chloe talk to me, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, just talk to your parents and convince them to stay here." She said trying to her emotions. "Timmy needs you."
"Okay I see what needs to be done here." Missy said as she looked at Timmy. and grabbed Chloe's hand. "It's time for a talk."
TheAwesomeCoolJay: Oh no one of those intervention things!
Timmy stood outside by the school doors, just like Missy asked him to do. Inside the school, Missy and Chloe were alone in the hallway, good because Missy really needed to talk to Chloe alone about this.
"You like Timmy don't you Chloe?"
"WHAT!" Chloe responded, completely taken back at what Missy just said. "W-Well of course I l-l-like Timmy, he's my friend!"
"Yeah, but you like him more than a friend don't you? Missy making the message more clear.
"He's just my best friend."
"Chloe."
"Okay fine I do." She admits, while hiding her face. "But he likes you."
"I know he does, but a long distance relationship isn't good for me or Timmy." Missy tells her as she puts a hand on Chloe. "But you're here and you two can keep each other happy."
"Your a good person Missy."
"That means a lot coming from you, now tell Timmy to get in here."
"You won't tell him I like him right?" Chloe worried.
"No, but I'll make sure he keeps his eyes on you."
Happy to hear that, Chloe exited the school and told Timmy it was his turn. When he entered, Timmy's nervousness around Missy was about to be present, but luckily it was calmed by a hand to the head from Missy.
"Timmy I know that you like me like, but you need to know that I am leaving."
"Okay." He said with a heavy sigh. "Your just the only girl I thought I could actually have a shot with."
"What about Chloe?"
"Oh no, she's just a friend."
"Just a regular friend?"
Yeah... well no, she's a good friend, a dependable friend, my best friend."
"And how would you describe her?" Missy asking another question.
"Responsible, kind, caring, smart, determined, -"
"Pretty."
"Oh yeah very pretty." Timmy said, but once he hear himself he put a hand over his mouth. "What did I just say?"
"You called Chloe pretty."
"I didn't mean it, well I do, but that pretty is just her cute little freckles, her neat little outfit, that warm smile, and why am I saying all of this?"
"Because you like Chloe." Missy giggled as she walked away. "Good luck Timmy."
As she left, a red blush grew across Timmy's face as the sudden realization came to him.
"Oh wow, I love Chloe."
And that's the end! FINALLY HE ADMITS IT! I hope you all enjoyed this it was fun to bring back Missy, but it was really fun to get into the emotions of this chapter. So what happens next?
Timmy finally understands his feelings for Chloe, but it's difficult to express these feelings on a Squirrely Scout outing. Things get extremely difficult when Tootie and the Cream Puffs tag along as well.
That's next time folks, but until I want you all to know ahead of time that I will be doing a Channel Chasers 2 chapter in the future. Yeah you're hyped for that, well be even more hyped to see the grownup version of Chloe.
Not by the show, but by the artist Chillguydraws, you can check it out on my twitter or tumblr and make sure to show some love to Chillguydraws as well. But make sure you're a little grown and mature to see his content. And if his style ain't your thing, that's okay, just don't be negative
That's all folks, see you next time and remember to R.F.F. (Review Favorite Follow) PEACE!
