Bounty Hunters Part 2
We start the story a bit before the end of the last chapter.
Luna Luna in her Sundancer form was staring down Elina Vance who was dressed in her black tiger armor. Though calling it, armor was a bit of a stretch with how much skin it showed off. "What that supposed to mean?" Luna Luna said alarmed at what Elina said.

Once again the Esoterica merely stood there once again. It was hard to tell if the Esoterica was thinking due to all the robes that covered every inch of its body. As Elina thrust out her spear, the Esoterica seemed to half disappear so that the spear only went through thin air.
Elina was surprised at this turn of events. Only half of the Esoterica was visible with the right half of his body hidden behind the air itself.
Sizing on the distracted the Esoterica shot a ball of energy at her knocking her out.
Back in the present
Ben's armband, or the Omnitrix as these creatures called it, was still out of magical power, so he was stuck in his human form. To make matters worse, some kind of Star Creatures had kidnaped most of his harem and many members of the Queen's Army. Every one of the beautiful warriors was stripped of their clothes and hanging from robes, it was as if they were on display at some sick slavery show.
It looked like the monsters were using them as bait to lure him out. Though Ben didn't understand why the monsters had kidnapped members of the Queen Army to use as bait. The girls were being watched over by a strange metal demon with purple armor and metal tentacles As if things weren't bad enough for ben and the remaining beautiful warriors the demon called Kraab that Ben had fought earlier had just emerged from the earth like it had dug through the ground to get here.
"What should we do Ben?" Nowa asked.
"I'll take command here," Imu said. "The best thing we can do at the moment is play it cool and hope we can get an opening.
"I just hope that something happens that buys us time," Nowa said.
A third monster appeared from out of nowhere. Honestly, it looked like a man but was dressed gold, black, and red robes. "The quarry has appeared. I now claim him in the name of the Flame Keeper Circle," it said.
"Ni ba sen ssssnnn," the one in black and purple said in an inhuman tongue. While Ben and the rest couldn't understand what it had just said, but it sounded like it was mad.
"Sixsix is right. We're not just going to let you take the prize just because you ask," Kraab said while snapping his large claw menacingly.
"Then you will know the fate of all those that oppose the Flame Keeper's Circle," the Esoterica warrior said as he teleported behind Sixsix to attack with his energy-filled punch. Sixsix was able to dodge the attack by taking to the air. Sixsix then took out his guns and began to lay down fire trying to hit the Esoterica warrior.
Kraab took the opportunity to aim his large laser that he had in his claw to attack Sixsix while he was focusing on the Esoterica. The attack hit and knocked Sixsix out of the sky. Before Kraab could take make another move the Esoterica teleported behind him and grabbed one of his crab-like legs and swung him around a lot. Kraab was smashed into the ground a lot before the Esoterica throw him away. Sixsix recovered by then and lay down a volley of laser fire on both of them.
"Wow it's like they totally forgot about us," Nowa said.
"It seems like they lack focus," Imu said
"Is now a good time to save the others?" Mirim asked.
"It does seem like a good time," Ben said.
"Okay likes try to cut them down. Ben, you're with me because I don't want you to stare at my ass while you walk behind us," Imu said because everyone but Ben and Mirim had lost their clothes in the last fight.
Soon the group made their way over to their captured friends. And tried to cut them down.
The fight between the bounty hunters was intensifying. Sixsix just pulled out an alien looking gun and blasted at empty air. Surprisingly it seemed to hit something as the Esterica fell to the ground.
"How did you hit me when I was between dimensions?" the Esoterica said alarmed.
"Oh like we would have taken a job with an Esoterica warrior without bringing some interdimensional weapons. We didn't last this long by being stupid," Kraab said as he sprayed the Esoterica with some thick slime. "That should take away your ignoring ability to slip between dimensions."
The Esoterica tried to phase away but found he couldn't. "I've always wondered how much pressure it would take to crush an Esoterica's armor," Kraab said as his large claw grabbed him and calmed down.
As the Esoterica felt his armor start to crack, he reached into a secret pocket and pulled out a strange device that had a large button. When he pressed it, he merely dissipated.
"Fs lo ps aa," Sixsix said in his inhuman tongue.
"Yes I know he got away," Kraab said. "He had a random jumper so he should be far away from here without any way to get back. Giving me plenty of time to grab the target. Where is it anyway," Kraab said looking around for the Omnitrix. Both Kraab and Sixsix looked around and saw that Ben and the rest were trying to free the captured women.
"Well it looks like even though the bait has served its purpose, he took advantage of us fighting," Kraab said.
"It looks like they spotted us Imu said.
"We need more time," Nowa yelled out.
At that moment the symbol on the Omnitrix had turned to green letting Ben know that it could be used again. "We now that I can transform again I will hold them off.
"I'll help too," Mirim said. "My armor may not be working now, but my sword still works."
"Okay then let's go," Ben said as he activated the Omnitrix to turn in the mighty Diamondhead. He turned his hands into large clubs and charged with the small Mirim. Before the duo could reach the two metal monsters, Sixsix threw some kind of small orb at Imu and Nowa who were still cutting down the other fighters. When the orb hit the ground, I exploded in a burst of force that knocked both Imu and Nowa out.
Mirim felt a surge of doubt and fear run through her body as she saw her comrades being cut down all around her and simply collapsed mid-charge.
Ben still charged forward and tried to attack the metal monsters. However, Kraab was easily able to catch his attack arm and force Diamondhead to the ground. Sixsix took out a small gun with an open cone barrel and fired on Diamondhead. Pain shot through Ben's crystal body, it felt like his unbreakable body was fracturing.
"Or gg jjll," Sixsix said.
"True it is lucky that he turned into a form that is so vulnerable to sonic weapons," Kraab said. "Keep it up, and I'm sure he will pass out from the pain."
"Oh no," Mirim said regaining her courage and ran to attack. However one of Sixsix tentacles fried a blot of energy at Mirim. The attack hit due to Mirim Hyper Vibration Armor still not working thanks to the early battle with Kraab. Mirim felt like she had just been struck by lightning as pain shot all through her body and collapsed as body turned numb. She was barely able to crawl over to Ben.
Just when it looked like things all over for Ben, both of the bounty hunters were shot by some kind of magic beam that knocked both of them back. When Ben turned to see who had attacked them, he saw another metal monster dressed in a full black metal suit riding a flying board. Wasting no time the new monster shot another bomb at the two downed monsters. The bomb release gas.
"Sleeping gas? Tetrax what are you doing," Kraab said he and Sixsix slipped off into sleep.
Tetrax then flew over to Ben dragged him off into the sky. Mirim had grabbed onto Ben's leg and was dragged along for the ride.
Ben was still Diamondhead as the strange warrior in black armor carried him through the air. Mirim was also on for the ride as she held onto Diamondhead leg for dear life.
Once they were far enough away from the others the warrior named Tetrax landed in a clearing close to the waterfall. Tetrax then threw them to the ground. "Of all the beings the Omnitrix in the cosmos that it could have attacked itself to and it finds a foolhardy youth from a primitive planet," He said.
"I don't know what you are, but I know an insult when I hear it," Ben said.
"Who or what are you?" Mirim asked.
"It doesn't matter who I am. All that I matter is that I get the Omnitrix into the right hands," Tetrax said.
"Wait does that mean you're a good guy?" Mirim asked.
"Your still alive aren't you," was Tetrax reply.
"Still that doesn't mean I am going just to give you the Omnitrix as you call it," Ben said. It doesn't even come off."
"Of course not. Its bonds alien DNA to its host. It can't be removed like it was some kind of hat. I must take you with me when I leave the planet to remove it," Tetrax said as he turned his back to Ben.
Ben didn't like how this was sounding so he decided he needed to take Tetrax out. Using his control of his diamonds like body, he turned his hands into an ax and spiked club. Rushing Tetrax he tried to attack. However, Tetrax was able to dodge the attack and come back with a powerful right hook that was strong enough to lunch Diamondhead in the air and send flying back over ten feet.
"Do you always choose your warriors on brute force without any strategy? Do you even think before you act," Tetrax criticized. "It was no wonder why you were defeated by those bounty hunters.
"Of course I do," Ben said. "Since I was fighting creatures with powers I couldn't understand I choose a star creature that had strength, durability, and an endless supply of weapons. And how was I supposed to now that had sonic weapons. I don't even know what sonic weapons are."
"He's right. Whatever those things are they have powers beyond imagining," Mirim said.
"You may have a point; you are from a horrible primitive world. Still, you chose the most barbaric way to fight with that alien or star creature as you call it," Tetrax said.
"Why don't I show you how well I can handle this form," Ben said as he tried to attack Tetrax with weaponized limbs. However, Tetrax was able to dodge his attacks without even taking a signal step easily. With amazing speed, Tetrax was able to grab Diamondhead's head and toss him aside.
"It's a pity that you have not unlocked more of that alien's potential," Tetrax said.
"Oh what makes you such an expert on this star creature," Ben asked.
Tetrax armor seems to slide off his face to reveal that he was another Diamondhead.
"What you're just like me?" Ben said in shock.
"Wait, are you brothers are something?" Mirim asked unsure able what was going on.
"I am nothing like you. I am a noble warrior, and you are just some guy that is in way over his head," Tetrax said. "We have wasted enough time. I have to get you off the planet before now."
"Wait, what about the others. We have to rescue the women captured by those bounty hunters," Ben said alarmed.
"Yes with your knowledge and power we can save everyone," Mirim said happily.
"No I have more important things to worry about than a band of human women," Tetrax said coldly. "We're going now."
"I'm not just going to abandon them," Ben said as he tackled Tetrax to the ground. Even though Tetrax was taken by surprise, he still was able to recover quickly and throw him off.
"This isn't up for debate," Tetrax said as he looked around for the hoverboard that he dropped when Ben tackled him. Much to his dismay, he saw that the other Bounty Hunters had caught up to them.
"We don't so. You see the two of us have decided to work together and split the reward and you in half," Kraab said as he crushed Tetrax hoverboard. Both Kraab and Sixsix missile pods deployed and took aim.
"Everyone take cover," Tetrax said as the missiles flew at them.
Ben made a large shield out of crystals to protect Mirim and himself while Tetrax shot out a barrage of crystals to intercept the missiles. Nonetheless, many of the missiles go through, and the battlefield was filled with explosions.
Since the battlefield was filled with dust Ben decided to grab Mirim and run.
"Wait why are you saving me?" Mirim asked surprised. When she realized that she was in the arms of a man she started to blush.
"Well it just seems like a good idea at the time," Ben said as he ran through the woods. Unfortunately, he didn't realize where he was going and found in a dead end for he was blocked by the cliff that leads into the lake. To make matters worse, Sixsix had found them. Sixsix was using his magic to hover in the air.
"Ga ge di rrr," Sixsix said as he pointed his guns at them.
"I have no idea what he just said, but I'm willing to bet it wasn't friendly. Better go on the offensive," Ben said as he fired off a barrage of crystals.
"I'll help to Mirim said as she grabbed her small shield and threw at Sixsix like it was some kind of boomerang at the hoving enemy. However, Sixsix was able to move quickly through the air while hovering and was easily able to dodge the clumsy attacks. Sixsix then sent out it small tentacles and unleashed a laser barrage.
Ben quickly used his large diamond hard body to shield Mirim.
"We can't keep this up for long," Mirim said as her shield came back to her like it was some kind of boomerang. "Do you have some kind of secret attack," Mirim asked desperately.
"Well I have been thinking about one, but I'm not sure if it's going to be effective," Ben said. "But we are out of options." Ben then tried to grow his crystal arm to giant proportions. His arm looked like a giant club attached to a small body. Ben then tried to swing his arm to try to knock Sixsix out of the sky. It took considerable effort to move the arm, but thankfully Diamondhead was able to lift it up to swat Sixsix out of the air like he was a mere fly.
The attack only hit because the sheer absurdity of the attack took Sixsix by surprise. Unfortunately, Sixsix was midway through with launching a massive barrage of missiles so as he was falling towards the earth the missiles flew up in the sky before they crashed down to the earth. The missiles rained down all around them striking everything. Even Sixsix himself was caught in the blast. Ben once again used his diamond body to protect Mirim as the attack rained down. Unfortunately for them all the missiles hitting caused the cliff said to crumble away sending then down into the waters below.
As Ben and Mirim fell off the cliff and into the water, Ben heard the Omnitrix beeping that signaled that he was about to turn human. Thankfully he was still in his alien form when he hit the water. He looked around and saw that Mirim had passed out when she hit the water. Ben then used what was left of his strength to swim over to her. While Ben was underwater Ben saw that there was a cave behind the waterfall. Even though it was a bit cliche, Ben decided to take Mirim and hide in the hidden cave.
Once Sixsix recovered he took to the air to scan for his prey but was unable to find any sign of the Omnitrix. Frustrated he decided to go back to Kraab to regroup.
As Ben sat in the cave waiting for Mirim to wake up, he was starting to feel unbearably cold. He quickly stripped out of most of his wet clothes and got an alchemic heating stone from his bag. (Note a heating stone is a stone that can emit heat equal to a campfire.)
Mirim woke up after a few minutes and looked around to see where she was and much to her shock she saw Ben, the young man she was sent to capture was sitting a few feet from her, and he was nearly naked. The only other time she had seen had seen a man in such an undressed state before was when she visited the beach when she was a young girl. But now when she looked at Ben's handsome body, she felt a blush creeping across his face.

"Um we um, what are we going to do" Mirim said as she remembered what the situation their friends were in?
"That's a good question. With your armor depowered and my armband, or Omnitrix used up the best thing we can do is hide out here for now," Ben said.
"I don't really understand how your powers work but even if you can use them again do you really think you can stand up to those monsters?" Mirim asked.
"I really don't know. I haven't had much luck fighting against these star creatures and their magic or whatever they call it. But I am just not the kind of guy who will let abandon my lovers."

"I understand what that is like," Ben said.
"Really?" Mirim said wondering if this man was really empathizing with her or not.
"I have been going through with similar issues with my own powers. Whether it was by accident or not, I have gone from being a simple nobody to simile the center of creation because I wear this Omnitrix on my wrist. Sometimes I think I am only special because of this my powers and if someone else got it, I would still be a simple nobody.
"I see," Mirim said as she cuddled up to Ben. "It must be hard sometimes fighting all alone."
"I really don't think I am alone. I have an entire harem of female fighters backing me up," Ben said. "What about you? Have you made any friends since you joined the Queen's Army?

"Arrg I'm getting sick of this job," Kraab yelled out. "The target is easy enough to deal with it, but with all the double-crossing it is becoming a real headache."

"I know that is why we teamed up. But now that the target has gotten away why are we still here?" Kraab asked.

"Little did Kraab know that both Ben and Mirim were nearby watching from the bushes.

Soon the plan went into motion. Mirim leaped out from the bushes and charged Kraab. "Oh I can't believe your this stupid," Kraav said as he fried his claw blaster at her. However this time Mirim was able to duck under it and counter with her sword. The hyper vibrational sword went into its chainsaw mode and was able to slice through the metal armor and cut off the large claw.
"Arrg you will pay for that," Kraab said as he readied his other weapons to attack. However, all of his systems started to go haywire. It was all thanks to Ben who was in the form of the small but genius alien he calls Greymatter.
"Well, I could never hope to understand any of your technology well enough to fight against you. But thankfully I can also never hope to understand anything I say when I'm this little guy," Ben said.
"Now to feed the enriched ion's of your flex drive into your main processor. Hope I can time this right," Ben said. Kraab arms began to spin around wildly before he just fell over. Before Kraab went dead, Ben was able to use the force from the spinning to hurl himself at Sixsix. Ben was then able to use Greymatters ability to stick to things to crawl over Sixsix, despite Sixsix trying to grab him. Soon Ben was able to grab the wires he wanted and cause Sixsix's jetpack to malfunction and crash into the ground.
When both of the alien bounty hunters were down for the count, Tetrax came over. "Nice work taking down these two. You may just be able to overcome those we want to misuse the Omnitrix," Tetrax said. "Well, I better get these two off-world and someplace where they won't bother you again."
"Sounds good to me," Ben said. "The big question is what are my other problem is going to do."
Mirim knew that he was referring to her and the rest of the queen's forces. "As things stand we are in no shape to continue to chase you. The smart move would be to retreat to a city and regroup," she said.
"True, but I think my friends and I should get as far away as possible," Ben said as he used his other armband to form a portal to Amara and took his harem though it to safety.

Vilgax watched as Tetrax ship jumped into hyperspace fleeing the star system.
"Treachery," Vilgax said as he was confined to the healing tank.
"Our sensors say that the Omnitrix is still on the planet," said one of the robots.
"Then the holder of the Omnitrix is as clever as he is powerful. I will need to deal with him myself when I am healed," Vilgax said.
Down on the planet's surface.
"In the name of the Flame Keepers Circle I will retrieve the Omnitrix, and then its power will be ours," The Esoterica said.
