It was Halloween night, the night history would repeat itself. Sarah was out in Disneyland park, studying the happenings. She had spent the past two years studying the park. Looking for any trace of the villains. But things had been oddly quiet, too quiet for her likening.

That is until the first Mickey's not so scary party happened. Since then there had been numerous villain sightings, most eather happening on Adventureland or near the Matterhorn. The good characters always tried to stay clear of both areas the best they could. Either staying in their own attraction or going to the castle for their weekly, and sometimes nightly get together.

But tonight was a different story, for tonight was supposedly the so-called return of the villains. More brave characters like Mulan, Robin Hood, Hercules, Merida, and many more replaced their cast member counterparts for the night so they could be on the lookout for suspicious activity. Sarah on the other hand, was out for a different reason. There had been reports of suspicious activity down in toontown. She wondered if it had to relate to the incident from a few nights ago. Back in the galaxy edge, a ship had mysteriously crashed and blew up into a fairy mess. There were rumors of an attack, but by the time anyone managed to investigate, the person was gone. Since then Sarah has gotten a strange yet familiar pull coming from adventure land, but she doesn't dare head over there. At Least not without a good reason.

Hopefully if there was something going on, she would be unnoticeable.

Tonight Sarah was wearing a Disney police officer uniform that she "borrowed" in order to blend. Though with her height and age, the look was a bit harder to pull off. She had just left her residence in Sleeping Beauty's castle. It's funny how magic can make a small castle so huge on the inside.

She made her way over to toontown, passing though fantasyland. Watching as guests dressed in costumes walked by. Kids dressed as heros or villains, parents or couples going as their favorite Disney couple. Everyone was heading out for the night as the last fireworks went off. Cast members tried to push guests toward the exit of the park so it could close on time. Which made it harder for her to make her way through the crowd. Politely, she excused herself as she pumped onto guests. She keeps a hand on her lightsaber at all times. For you never know who could be lurking at an event like this.

Once through the crowd of people, Sarah made her way over to the entrance of toontown. The aira looked completely empty, or so she thought. It closed much earlier than the rest of the park so she figured it shouldn't be a guest. Then again, teenagers did some stupid things. As she made her way down the empty streets, she took out her flashlight and began searching. That's when she noticed something in one of the bushes.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" She asked and she walked over to the fence that separated the path from the shrubbery. No sound, no noise came from the bushes. Shrugging it off she turned and began to walk away. As she did another Russell could be heard. Spinning back around, she aimed her flashlight back at the bushes.

"this is no time for games, the park is closing!" She said assertively, hoping it was just a group of teenagers playing a prank. As she walked closer she noticed a small piece of green cloth on the ground. Picking it up, the fabric looked fake, yet felt so real at the same time. Sarah remembered seeing it before, but where was the question. She placed it in the pocket of her paints befor hearing a splash from the fountain. Someone was definitely here.

"Alright enough with these games!" She hallerd into the dark open land. Tuning her flashlight onto the fountain she made her way over. She looked down into the clear water covered with different coins.

Then splash, her face landed in the freezing cold water. Her hand with her flashlight was pulled behind her back with her other hand holding onto the wall. Her body teetered back and forth as she fought against the force pushing her under. The officer cap floated to the bottom as Sarah continued holding her breath as she tried to push her head against the force.

A faint muffled voice could be heard behind her. "It's not on this one!" One said, but it was hard to make out under the water. Eventually her head was pulled from the water as she gasped for air. A clicking noise came from the right of her.

"Where's the key?" A voice asked.

Sarah's eyes drift to her right to see a pink weasel from who framed Roger rabbit holding a gun to her head.

"What are you doing out of your ride?" She asked, trying to play it off as if she dident know what was going on.

"Don't play dum with me girly, now fork it over!" He pushed the gun so that it was touching her head.

"I don't have it on me." She started turning her head to face the weasel.

"Search her!" The pink weasel stated. She was then pushed to the ground landing on her back. Three other weasels from the same movie came over and searched her. One in green, another in a blue and white striped shirt, and another in blue. They each patter her down, folding her pockets inside and out but found nothing.

"She doesn't have it boss." the green one said.

"Told you!" Sarah replied as she brushed the weasels off of her. She got to her feet and began brushing herself off. "Now if you don't mind, I've got better things to do then deal with you four, so I would appreciate it if you would comply and get back to your attraction!" She said point over to Roger rabbit's cartoon spin.

"Not so fast, girly." The pink one said point the gun at her. This time the rest of the weasels pulled out their weapons too. All had guns except for the one in blue and white, he pulled out a bat. "I think if anything, you know where that key is. And you're gonna tell us where!" He claimed down from the bench and made his way over to where she stood.

Sarah began to think, when she remembered something on her belt. "You know, you guys really are stupid." A small smile formed on her face.

"What you talking about, we got ya surrounded" the pink weasel asked in confusion.

"You searched me for the key'' she said as she reached for her lightsaber "but you didn't search me for weapons!" Quickly she wiped it out and got into a ready position.

The weasels backed up a bit, slightly intimidated by the lightsaber. "So who wants to test me?" None dared to move, except for the pink weasel who decided to shoot. Sarah quickly swung her saber, blocking the bullet and slicing it into microscopic pieces. The weasels stood there stunned at what had just happened, giving Sarah the perfect advantage to pull the gun straight from the pink weasel's hand. Once in her palm, she pointed it at the pink weasel "now, maybe you care to tell me who sent you?"

"Villains, they sent us to do the dirty work!" The blue one spoke rather intimidated.

"Anyone else here?" Sarah asked, turning to the group of weasels.

"Pirates, but that's it." The green one responded.

Sarah glared at them, unsure what to do. But she needn't think long before she was tackled to the ground by the pink weasel. "Help me with her boys!" He shouted.

Then a fire ball launched over their head. He ducked in time as it flew over hitting the ground.

"What the?" He asked as his group of fellow weasles looked petrified.

"It's the mouse!" The green one pointed.

"Not just the mouse, he's got the hat!" The blue yelped. They immediately made a dash for the exit of toontown, not bothering to stick around and help the pink one.

"You three get back here!" The pink one screamed. Sarah dropped the gun and waved her hand sending the weaseled rolling onto the pavement next to them. Quickly she got to her feet and placed her lightsaber up to his neck.

"Please don't kill me!" He begged as she shook.

Sarah's eyes narrowed on him for a good moment. "You go and tell them you found nothing!" She spoke sternly through gritted teeth.

The weasel nodded in a panic as Sarah reliced him. He quickly scampered to his feet and dashed for the exit as well.

She then turned to see Mickey standing on his sorcerer's apprentice outfit next to the fountain. He seemed to be looking at something in the fountain. Sarah calmly walked over, putting her lightsaber away on her belt. Looking down, she noticed the officers hat had something shiny inside of it. She reached her hand inside pulling out a gold bracelet. It was the key to the portal she had been given 5 years ago. She had hid it inside the hat for safe keeping, figuring something would go wrong.

"Stupid weasels" Sarah muttered, putting it into a pocket.

"You alright?" Mickey asked.

"Ya, just a little wet." She responded squeezing out her hair "thanks for the back up."

"No problem. But why did you come here alone, you know Halloween is the most dangerous night in the parks."

Sarah sighed as she turned "I don't know, I just figured I could do this on my own. Nore do I want anyone else to get hurt."

"I know Sarah, but-" Sarah then got a chill down her spine. She tuned out whatever Mickey was saying and turned her head. She could sense someone else was in the airia. Turning her head she noticed far off in the distance some shadowy figures.

"The pirates!" She said with widened eyes.

"The what?" Mickey asked.

"We need to go, now!" Quickly she grabbed hold of Mickey's hand and began rushing in the direction of the portal. Once at the edge of Toontown she noticed the small hole in the fake wall. She remembered when the portal used to be open all the time. Now it was closed off to everyone except those who had a key. Unraveling the bracelet, she placed the key into the small hole. With a click a numbered keypad came up. She typed in the password 1928, the year steam boat willie came out. A blue line then appeared, makeing a ovle shape. Once complet it reviled a blue ora covering the center, the portal had been made. Sarah was about to step though when she realized mickey wasent fallowing her.

"Aren't you comeing?" Sarah asked.

Mickey shook his head "you go, I'll hold them off."

"But Mickey I can't just-" Mickey cut her off "no Sarah, you're more valuable than me. Now go, Minnie will be on the other side." Reluctantly she nodded and jumped though the portal without a second though. On the other side layed a building that looked old and rundown.

This place was used for sanctuary, a place used to hide valuable items, a place to hide a key, a place known as the house of mouse! Infront of the glass double doors stood a mouse around four feet tall holding the glass door open. She was in a witches outfit with a black bow on her hat, Minnie Mouse! Sarah quickly rushed over and only stopped once through the doors.

"We got.. trouble..pirates.. on our tail" she said, pausing to take breaths. Minnie nodded, understanding the situation. "Mickey's making... Distraction.. must get.. key!" She then took back off into the empty theater.

Looking around, she had forgotten how old the place looked. It was covered in dust and cobwebs since it hadn't been used in nearly five years. Now it was used as an old storage facility to house useful and some useless magical items that were to be locked away for safety.

Minnie followed close behind her calling "Sarah wait up."

But she didn't slow down, she needed to get that key before anyone else did. So they came across the basement door which Sarah busted open. She dashed down the stairs and into the basement where crates upon crates laid waiting to be opened once again. But Sarah didn't care for them, she needed to find the small box containing the key. Weaving through the maze of crates, she soon found a small wooden table with red cloth on it. On top layed a small wooden box. It looked similar to a small treasure chest but nothing too lavishing. Perfect for blending in with this junk.

Once open it revealed a red leather case with a spot for a watch and a spot for a pen. Inside layed just that, Walt's watch and his pen. Sarah breathed a sigh of relief as she found the items safe and sound right where they belonged.

Minnie finally managed to find Sarah and also smiled when she noticed the key was safe. "Quick we need to get this out befor-'' creek! They heard the stairs begin to squeak from where they came in. It was too late to get the key out as a hole. Sarah grabbed the pen while she handed the watch off to Minnie.

"What are you doing?" Minnie asked in a whisper as she took the watch.

"It's too risky if we take it as a whole. So we're gonna need to split up and head for the basement exit." Sarah said as she placed the pen into a shirt pocket. "If both of us aren't there in five minutes the other runs back to the castle to get help. You start making your way to the exit. I'll cause a distraction."

Minnie reluctantly nodded before making her way towards the back exit. Sarah on the other hand went the opposite way, going to what she thought was the pirates direction. Placing a hand on her lightsaber, she began to run though the maze of craits once again hoping to find them. But she was wrong when a blood curtailing scream came from the opposite direction. Quickly she changed directions and followed the sounds of a squealing mouse.

She eventually found them, hiding herself behind one of the large crates. It was just as she fears, Minnie was surrounded by pirates. And the one that was holding her, had a sword to her neck. By her judgment there could have been at least fifteen to twenty in there.

"Alright lassy, I'll give ya one last chance. Where be the key at?" The lead pirate asked. Minnie stood there shaking, she didn't know what to do.

"Back away from her!" Sarah yelled as she stepped out from behind the crate. Carefully she pulled her lightsaber out ready for battle. The pirates stopped and turned in her direction.

"Well would ya look at this lads, little miss Jedi has come to save her little pip squeak friend!" They all laughed.

"I said let her go!" She got into a Jedi ready position and ignited her lightsaber.

"Tell ye what, I'll let her go in exchange for the key." The lead pirate said with a devious smile.

"Not a chance, now back away before anyone get injured." Her lightsaber clenched in her hands as her eyes filled with determination and bravery.

The lead pirate then proceeded to pull out his sword "Will fifteen can play at that game!" She watched at the rest provided to pull out their swords.

Sarah stood her ground as one pirate charged for her. She swung her saber at his sword thinking it would slice in half, only for it to collide with her lightsaber. Her eye lit up in shock, the sword should have broken in two.

"Oh did we forget the menchu that our swords be enchanted against ye saber?" The pirates chucked.

Rage running through her veins she force pushed against the pirates sending him stumbling backwards. Another came up to her right but she blocked it, this time prepared. A group began changing at her from the other direction. So she pushed with her lightsaber, sending the pirate toppling onto his bottoms before force pushing the group backwards into a few crates. She then force jumped over most of them landing feet first in front of the pirates holding Minnie. She would hit him, only for him to attack back. But what he forgot about was to keep hold of his prisoner.

"Run Minnie!" Sarah screamed as Minnie ran out of harm's way before stopping.

"But I can't just leave you here!"

Sarah turned and gave her a death glare as she collided with a few more swords "I said go! Find Mickey and get back to base!" With that Minnie ran for the exit.

Sarah continued to fight for as long as she could, constantly swinging her lightsaber back and forth, sending pirates flying across the room only for them to get back up. But she could only do so much before getting tired and out of breath. Finally she blocked 3 swords that came her way, but it was to much for her to handle. They Eventually overtook her and she toppled to the ground. Her lightsaber flying out of her hand and landing three feet away from her. She tried to sit up only for swords to be pointed at her from all directions. One wrong move and she would surely die.

"I suggest ye surrender lass, and hand over the key." The head pirate stated.

"I don't have the key, we hid it befor you came to this place."

"And where might that be." He asked, placing the tip of his sword under her chin.

"I'll never tell you!" She said pushing the tip of the sword away with her finger tips.

The lead pirate snapped his figures, another hosted Sarah to her feet. Next thing she knew, a piece of cloth was pressed up against her mouth and nose. Her muffled screams could only be heard by the pirates.

"Search this place top to bottom till we have the key!" He ordered.

Her eyes watched as they rushed off in different directions. But it wasn't long before she began to feel dazed, and her eyes grew Heavy. Something was on the cloth she realized. But it was too late to fight back now, as her body finnly welcomed the idea of sleep. It wasn't long before she was out like a light.

Authors notes: 3/4/23

Hmm, we'll that was interesting. Who have guess pirates where better then weasels at kidnapping Jedi. And now we know what happen to the house of mouse. Forget a club for characters, now it's a storage facility! As you can probably guess, I've read the kingdom keepers saga which inspired me to start writing. It also gave way for many of the events in this book. If you haven't read it, go get yourself a copy! It's the best Disney books out their!

Fun fact: I originally had plans for this to be a kingdom keepers fan-fiction, with the kids present in the book, but as I wrote it just wasn't going to work out. So instead your stuck with Sarah and her friends, but I do have to thank mr person for the idea and getting me into writing, thank you sir!

As always I except any criticism or ideas you may have! I'll see y'all in the next chapter, goober out!
