Jack and Jess looked at Tess with confusion. It was like she got a whole new wardrobe, cause she did. Her purple nightgown was now replaced with a red and black robe. Her pants and shirt were both black and her shoes consisted of red flats. She looked just like a villain.

"Oh thank goodness you guys are safe." She called, rushing over to them and pulling them into a group hug.

"Tess, what happened to you?" Jess asked when she let go. She was wondering why her twin sister had changed outfits.

"Long story." She responded.

"You can tell us, besides I think we got plenty of time." Jack said, crossing his arms.

"Oh please, you don't want to hear what happened to me. Why not tell me what's going on with you guys?" Tess said, trying to play it cool. She needed that info so she could become the most popular girl at school again.

"Tell us what happened to you first. Then we will explain our part." Jess said feeling something was up with her twin.

"If you insist." Tess mumbled "after they brought us to, wherever we are I found myself tied to a chair in a dark room. Shortly after Dr Facilier came in and did a terror reading on me. He said my future was something I couldn't refuse."

"You did refuse right?" Jack asked.

"I said ye-no." Tess corrected herself.

"Yeno?" Jack asked.

"You know like ya no as in I would but no thanks." Tess could feel herself trying not to blush. God why couldn't she lie in front of her sister or boyfriend. Anyone else it's a braze, but the people she loved and trusted, it was a lot harder to do.

"Then what's with the robe?" Jess asked.

"This thing?" Tess gestured to her new outfit "it was one me when I woke up."

Jack and Jess both shared a perplexed look as if to say "she's lying." Their minds spun with questions like why was she acting so strange? What was with the new outfit? Why was she the only one so far to see the villains? Could this have something to do with Maleficent's proficy?

"So what's been going on with you guys? Anything cool happened while I've been dragged around the maze?" Tess asked, trying to get them to say something.

"Nothing, they have had us and Sarah stuck in this stone cell." Jack stated.

"So nothing about a key or-" her eyes darted trying to think of words when jack cut her off.

"Alright Jess, what's going on?" He asked, a bit annoyed. This wasn't like her to try and hide something from them. He placed a comforting hand on her shoulder to let her know he wouldn't be mad at whatever she said.

"Nothings going on, I'm telling the truth." She yelled, shrugging his hand off.

Jack gave Jess a nervous look. Something must be going on if Tess was acting like this. Jess walked over to her sister with a concerned look on her face. She grab her hands and said "please Jess, we never keep secrets. Just tell us what's going on? If you're in danger maybe we can help."

That's when Tess' face lit up with anger and she snapped. "Help, you want to help me!" She pulled her hand wash from her sister "you've done nothing but ruin my life! You, Jack, Sarah, my life was perfect before all this happened! I used to be the most popular kid at school, but then that Jedi turned up and took my spot. After that I became second best in everything. Then the attack happened, and what did you both get, starting roles for blowing things up" she gestured to her twin. "And landing the school." She gestured to her boyfriend. "Wail I risked my life fighting stormtroopers, but apparently that's not good enough for society."

"You're upset because we saved people." Jack asked in surprise.

"No, I'm upset because you got all the fame. All the news stations wanted to know about what it's like to ride in a tie fighter or hack into the controls to land a school. What did I get, 5 seconds of fame because everyone fought stormtroopers. As a result your popularity grew, giveing you high honor, popularity, status!"

Jes spiped in "but that's not true, you grew a bit from the interviews. We've always talked about your heroics. Not to mention the parade."

"I only grew because I know you both!" Tess shouted "and I didnt get to ride with you, Instead I got stuck with the other runts."

Jack and Jess both gasped at what Tess had called their fellow classmates. They watched as Tess looked like she was going to explode, her hands tuning into fist, her body looking like a tomato. Something was definitely wrong, this wasn't the Tess they knew.

"You want to know what really happened?" Her eyes began to twitch a bit as she turned to the door. "The part about me and Facilier is true, but I did accept his offer! They promised me popularity as long as I help them take over the park!"

The two could not believe what they were hearing. There was no way Tess would do this, especially over something like popularity.

Jack walked over to her and spun her around. "Tess, did they put you under a spell? Maybe we can break it?" He placed a hand behind her head "maybe a true love's kiss is what you need."

He began to lean in but Tess slapped him across the face. Jack released her as he yelped in pain. She then pushed him to the ground. "This is no spell! This is all my choice Jackson Bart freeman!"

Jess rushed to Jack's side to make sure he was alright. She then looked up at her sister with fire in her eyes. "Tessa, what the hell is wrong with you! Your better then this!"

Tess crossed her arms "well maybe it's time I changed my path? maybe I want to be a villain instead of the hero, cause clearly you two have already cleaned that spot!"

Jess rushed to her sister and tackled her to the ground. They were at an all out identical twin war. Not sure what to do, Jack watched the two go at it for a bit. Each tossing and turning, one trying to overthrow the other. When one had the upper hand, they tried to punch or slap the other, but neither was able to really harm the other.

When Jack was sure they were gonna kill each other if they went further, he rushed to the door and banged on it. "Yo, we need help here. There gonna kill each other if someone dosent brake them up!"

Sure enough the door opened and two pirates came in, each grabbing one of the girls. There was a third one by the door to make sure Jack didn't leave.

Jess struggled in the purest arm as she sang out to her sister "This has to stop now, Whatever it is that you're going through. We'll fix it together, me and you. Just like we've always done"

Tess pulled away from the pirate "No! This has to stop now. This thing where you think that you've been my friends" she looked between jack and Jess "And don't even hear how you condescend. The way you've always done."

"Tess, listen" Jess called to her twin.

Tess turned and made her way to the door "I'm listening"

"I know it isn't true"

"Isn't it?"

"Just look into my eyes now"

Tess turned her head over her shoulder "Well?"

"I know you feel it too"

"Perhaps I do" she spat

"Tess, listen"

"I'm listening"

"I swear it's not too late. So before another line gets crossed. And everything we've had is lost." She managed to get one arm free of the pirates grasp and reached it out towards her sister "Just... wait"

"Wait?" She said stopping in the doorway. He turned her head to her sister and boyfriend. She thought for a moment before finally deciding what to do. "No, I won't wait" she then left the room. It was time she started her own path, without them.

She wandered down the long hall, back to her room as memory's played in her head.

"There's a line between the winners and the losers. There's a line between the chosen" he gestured her right hand to the sky "and the rest" her left hand to the floor.

"And I've done the best I could. But I've always known just where we stood" she pictured herself back in the tv studio. Her and her parents watching as Jack and Jess were getting yet another TV interview. "Me here with the luckless. You there with the blessed"

"And that line between the beggars and the choosers. Is a line you've never let me quite ignore." She remembered the popularity her sister and boyfriend got. The autographs they were asked to sign. The places they were asked to visit. "How I've tried to jump that great divide" she shook her head as she stepped over a crack in the ground. "But I've never got the chances you were given"

She then remembered all the times she asked to have a second interview. Or even tried to raise her status but nothing worked. "You don't know how much I've been denied" her hands turned into fist before belting out into song "Well, I'm not being patient anymore. I'm crossing the line! And I'm done holding back. So look out, clear the track, It's my turn!" She found her room and opened the door. "I'm taking what's mine! Every drop, every smidge. If I'm burning a bridge, Let it burn. But I'm crossing the line!"

She went over to the nightgown on her floor and picked it up. "And for us, if we're over. That's fine!" She then wrapped it in half "I'm crossing the line." She then watched as both half dropped to the floor before sitting on her new bed. She let out a sigh before looking at the nightgown. What had she done?
