Amy woke up in the bed opposite from Sarah. It was earlier than she had expected as they were all up late, chatting about what adventures they had been on, and how much they missed each other. Though she still managed to get a full seven hours of sleep.

Looking across at her sister, she watched as she tossed and turned in her sleep. Not sure if this was normal or not, she let her be. She quietly got out of bed, put on her boots, and walked out of the bedroom. Out in the hall, she could hear the small mutters of conversation coming from the floor below. So she headed down the stairs and into the dining room. Jack, Jess, princess Aurora, Prince Philip, Merlin, and Arthur all sat around the table. They were all eating an assortment of breakfast delights.

Aurora was the first to spot Amy in the doorway. "Amy, you're awake. Come sit, there's plenty to go around." She gestured to an open seat on her left. She strolled on over and took a seat between her and Jess.

"So how did you sleep my dear? I do hope the castle accommodations where to your

liking." Philip asked.

Amy nodded "yes, some of the best I've experienced in years. Much better than those pesky cramed pilot seats." She received many curious looks around the table "don't ask." She then noticed how empty the table was compared to the amount of characters in the castle last night. "Where is everyone?"

"They all are back at their original parks, backstage, or attractions." Merlin responded "but we tend to stick to the castle during the day. At night many characters come here for meetings, or just to hang out. You know, safety in numbers."

"I see." Amy said as her stomach growled. She looked around but saw no plates of food other than the ones in front of people. "Where's the food?"

"Allow me!" Merlin waved his hands in the air saying "Higitus Figitus." A small light flickers on Amy's plate. She gasped as different breakfast foods like pancakes covered in maple syrup, scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon appeared on her plate.

"Go ahead Amy, the food is amazing!" Jess said enthusiastically as she plopped some scrambled eggs into her mouth. Amy had picked up a spoon full of scrambled eggs. She was about to place it into her mouth when she heard her name faintly being called. She looked around but no one seemed to hear it. Was it just her or- "Amy!" There it was again. That time everyone heard it. They all parked up and looked at the door, hearing the cries of Amy's name.

"Did you all hear that?" Jack asked. Everyone nodded as the scream got louder and more blood curtailed.

Jess then stood, realizing who it was. "Sarah!"

Amy immediately dropped her fork onto her plate, stood up, knocked her chair over, and took off back to her sister's room. The rest followed her but weren't able to keep up with her quick pace. She reached the room in no time, grabbing her lightsaber from her belt and swung the door open. She was prepared for an attack, only to find her sister, sitting upright in bed, with tears streaming down her face. Her blanket wrapped around her like a cape, as if to comfort her.

Sarah looked up at her sister as she came into the room. "Amy!" Sarah screamed in relief. Amy put her lightsaber away and rushed over to her sister, giving her a hug. "It's ok Sarah, I'm here. I'm right here." She soothed. Sarah clung to her sister's chest, as if she was terrified out of her mind.

Jess was next to enter the room. "Sarah?" She asked loudly as she entered, followed by Jack and the characters. They all stood there, Jack and Jess shocked but the character didn't have too much of a reaction.

"Is she ok?" Auther asked.

Amy shook her head. "I don't know what's wrong. I came in and found her like this." Amy said with a bit of panic.

Merlin turned to the characters "Aurora get the kids somewhere quiet to wait, Philip go get Yensid. I think we all know what happend."

"What happened?" Jack asked.

"Nothing, she just had a bad dream is all" Aurora said as she tried to gather them out of the room, including Arthur. "Why dont we go back to the dining room and finish breakfast." Reluctantly all the kids followed except for Amy. She wasn't leaving her sister for a second.

"Relax Sarah." She whispered to her sister "it's alright, you're safe." She tried to adjust herself under her sister's weight but Sarah wasnt budging. "Don't leave me!"

Concerns spread over Amy's face, she didn't know what to do. She never remembered her sister being like this after a night of rest. "What happened?" She finally asked,

"Smoke, fire, kingdom in ruin, Star turn dark, you, friends, everyone, gone!" Sarah whimpered in her sister's robe. Amy raised a brow at what her sister was saying. She tried to paint a picture in her brain but it was impossible. She watched as her sister moved her face to look her sister in the eyes. It was a mess of waterworks as her voice cracked "they got it."

She went back to cry on her sister's robe. Amy felt bad and just hugged her sister. Whatever happened was traumatizing her. Many moments later she felt a hand on her shoulder, making her shutter. She turned and noticed Yensid behind her.

"Can I talk to her?" He asked.

Amy looked down at her sister who still wasn't letting go. "You can try but she's not budging."

"That's alright." He then knelt down next to them. He placed a hand on Sarah's shoulder. "Sarah it's me, can you tell me what happend?"

"Darkness, kingdom in ruins, everyone, gone!" She choked out again.

He nodded "anything else?" But Sarah shook her head. Yen Sid then stood up and looked down at Amy. "Amy, what you're about to see may shock you. But I promise your sister won't feel any of it."

Amy looked at the powerful wizard, unsure what to say. She watched as he raised his hands in the air and spoke "forced beyond, here my plea, show me the visions this girl sees!" As soon as he spoke Sarah stopped crying. A stream of white peaked out of her left ear. It flew into Yensid's hands, which looked like those of a photographer trying to get the perfect shot. Once the stream was in his hands, he expanded them creating a larger area full of white smoke, and began to form an image from within.

Amy then realized her sister was now slouched over on her lap. She was out of it. Amy layed her sister back onto her pillow, she looked so lifeless. Amy's face grew with worry, but Yensid reassured her. "She's alive, just in a resting state."

She looked over at Yensid, noticing the picture forming in the smoke. "What is that?"

"This my dear, is what your sister had been thinking about." He explained as the image flickers between 3 things. The first was of Sleeping Beauty's castle turned into a dark, desolate place. Its bright colors are now dark and grey, the sky as black as midnight. It looked broken down, almost in a crumbling state.

The next was Amy, and several others huddled together. They were looking to protect themselves against something but what could not be seen.

The last one was on a glowing orb that flicked, going from bright to dim. "What is that?" Amy asked. "That is the all powerful wishing star. It's the source of the park magic and the very thing that keeps us alive. But not everyone is happy that it is the bright, cheery color that it is today. Some wish to destroy it, others wish to take it for their own."

"Is that why it's flickering? The choice between good and evil?" Amy questioned.

"It's possible, but we won't know till the event happens." He closed his hands and recited another spell "return this to the girl's memories." He shrunk the image and the smoke returned to Sarah's body.

"Event happene's? Are you saying this has happened before?"

"Once several years ago, right before a certain number of events. She had broken out into one of these outbursts. Thankfully half of her memories didn't come true, but there were more than this one." He sighed "let us hope that whatever happens, the star is able to protect itself. Or that none of the events even happen."

"But Sarah will be alright?" Amy asked, looking back at her sister.

"For now, yes. When she wakes up shill be back to her old self." He offered Amy a hand "for now, let's give her space to recuperate."

Amy nodded as she took his hand, stood up, and followed him out of the room. She turned back for a split second, noticing the warm smile that now filled her face. She then shut the door quietly and noticed Yensid walking down the hall. She quickly raced down the hall to catch up to him. "Master Yen Sid"

He stopped and turned his head "yes Amy?"

She looked at him unsure whether he knew this answer or not. "Why did this world choose my sister?" He gestured for her to follow as they talked.

"I'm unsure, your sister came to this world so young, and yet so powerful. Magic works in mysterious ways that not even I can understand. Something called her here, to stay, and she did. Since then she has saved this kingdom numerous times." He stopped and looked at her "I hope that you will learn that in time. This kingdom does a lot more than spark the imagination." Amy gave him a look of confusion which caused Yensid to chuckle "you will learn in time but for now I must return to my study. And let your sister know I whisper to speak to her when she wakes."

Amy nodded as she watched the old wizard make his way to the end of the hall. She then returned to the dining room, her plate of food still waiting to be touched along with Arthur, Jack and Jess. As she sat down the only thing she could think of was 'what a strange world I have wound up in.'
