I'm back with another chapter of this wonderful fic, as you'll see, it's already going to start with the events of Tri, but you can expect some differences from the anime to this work thanks to Jujutsu Kaisen.
So... I know it's not Sunday yet, but I probably won't be able to post later or tomorrow, so I'll be posting today.
Anyway, something I've been thinking about: Reaction fic, a fic in which the children of digimon 01 and 02 react to this fic, to their future would be interesting or even watching Jujutsu Kaisen, it would be something very interesting to read. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of free time to write any more of this work... so if anyone is interested in this idea and wants to write something similar or something based on a reaction from this fic of mine or any other of mine, you can send me a PM and we'll talk.

A limousine overtook a street at high speed, scaring some people in the street who looked in the direction of the vehicle. Meanwhile, Akari looked annoyed as she drove by looking at a radar on the dashboard of the vehicle with Daisuke and Veemon holding on to the back seat.
"Couldn't you digimons make the chase easier without entering a portal every few minutes? It would be much better than getting several tickets like now." Akari complained before making another sharp turn, throwing Veemon on top of Daisuke.
The digimon looked stunned as he tried to steady himself by holding his head.
"I'm sorry... But I can't think of any other way that's as fast and effective in our world and anyway, Jujutsu Tech has already contacted the authorities, you don't have to worry about fines, do you?" Comments Daisuke before grunting at another sudden turn made by Akari.
"That digimon is very elusive, it's making several turns around Odaiba, either it wants to lose us or it's hunting something." Akari complained, making the three of them widen their eyes as Daisuke and Veemon looked directly at her. "I just jinxed it, didn't I?"
"Drive!" Exclaimed the two partners as Akari frowned before speeding off.
Suddenly the limousine braked, causing Daisuke and Veemon to screech to a sudden halt.
"Holy shit!" Exclaimed Daisuke angrily as he regained his sense of direction with Veemon looking queasy.
"We're here..." Warns Akari seriously before removing her seatbelt and looking at the two passengers in the back seat. "Okay, the situation seems more serious than I first imagined, the digimon seems to be in an outbreak destroying everything and there are people around, a lot of civilians."
"...Shit. Change of plans, Akari, take care of the civilians, coordinate everything with the police authorities and anyone else who shows up, Veemon and I will take care of the digimon." Daisuke commands before getting out of the car, followed by his partner.
As Akari said, everything was destroyed around them, cars were stationary with chunks of concrete and glass on the ground, as well as large craters in the roads and walls with some people fleeing the scene. Daisuke's expression suddenly changed to something completely neutral as Cursed Veemon growled angrily.
"Let's go Veemon." Commanded Daisuke with Veemon nodding.
"Yes!"
Immediately, the two of them started running down the street ignoring the crowd rushing against them until they saw the digimon flying, but as soon as they saw it, they could see it entering a portal that closed soon after.
"...What the fuck was that?" Daisuke asked with narrowed eyes before looking at Veemon. "Veemon, can you find him? Where's the digimon?"
At that moment Veemon started to look around before his eyes stopped in one direction and pointed there.
"He's heading that way, if we hurry we can catch up with him." Warned Veemon, prompting Daisuke to nod before the two ran off in that direction.
(Some time later)
Veemon leapt from pole to pole with Daisuke running right behind, the two of them soon stopping when they noticed their target climbing a building structure next to them. However, Daisuke couldn't help but notice how the digimon seemed to be pixelated, as if its body was adapting to the human world, something he hadn't seen happening in the digimons he had faced so far.
"...I don't have a good feeling about this." Daisuke reflected, quickly looking around at the people staring in surprise and confusion at the digimon, which only made the boy frown. "Damn it, don't just stand here, get out of here."
Just then, a bicycle stopped next to him and a voice familiar to Daisuke echoed.
"There!"
As soon as he heard the voice, Daisuke's eyes widened before he turned to face the newcomer.
It was a boy a little older than Daisuke, tall and fair-skinned with long, messy brown hair and brown eyes, he was wearing a light blue soccer player's uniform and riding a simple bicycle. This was Taichi Yagami, his former senpai and the original leader of the digi-destined.
"...Taichi?" murmured Daisuke in surprise without realizing what he was saying, something that caught Taichi's attention and he looked at Daisuke, his eyes widening as he recognized him.
"Daisuke!?"
At that moment, the wild digimon let out an angry roar, which made the two former leaders look at it, which slowly seemed to solidify, revealing itself to be a large red humanoid insect with dark markings, no eyes but with two fangs in its mouth. The digimon had four arms with sharp claws and a carapace with wings, this was Kuwagamon.
Daisuke frowned as most people seemed to flee away from the scene when Kuwagamon jumped towards them, causing the boy to push Taichi away before raising his arms to protect himself from the dust and stones scattered by the digimon's landing.
Taichi grunted from his spot on the ground before getting up and looking back to see Kuwagamon growling while Daisuke stood between the two with his arms raised in a fighting stance.
"...Veemon, get Taichi out of here." Daisuke commands.
Immediately, Cursed Veemon landed next to Taichi, surprising him with his new appearance.
"What? Veemon? How did you..."
"No time, we need to get you out of here now." Cursed Veemon declares before grabbing Taichi over his shoulder and starting to run.
"What!? No, Daisuke's still there, we have to take him with us!" Taichi exclaims before a crash echoes, making the boy look at the scene and widen his eyes.
Daisuke... had punched a digimon, in the face.
Kuwagamon seemed to recoil, but soon countered with a shove that threw Daisuke into a car that crumpled on impact, but the digimon seemed to ignore him and began to chase Taichi and Veemon angrily.
Seeing this, Veemon frowned as he ran.
"He seems to like you, do you want to share something with the class?" Veemon asked, running as Kuwagamon followed.
"No! Gee, I thought you were still in the digimon and had two eyes!" Exclaims Taichi before realizing something.
Veemon was running and still managed to keep a good distance from Kuwagamon, was he always this fast or was this something new too?
Unknown to them, Daisuke slowly got out of the car with a scowl as a trail of smoke came out of a wound on his head and back while he looked in the direction Veemon and Taichi had gone. With that, he pulled a cell phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.
"Akari, get ready to summon a curtain, Veemon and I are taking a Kuwagamon out of town, we're still planning where, we need a place available for yesterday." Daisuke declares before running off as well.
(Scene break.)
Cursed Veemon ran with Taichi to a green field with a river running through it. Once there, Veemon quickly stopped by turning his body so that Taichi fell to the ground as gently as possible while Kuwagamon fell to the ground hard.
Kuwagamon growled, getting up as Veemon stood in front of Taichi with narrowed eyes.
"I guess he didn't like chasing us." Taichi commented, laughing nervously.
"Yeah, but that was the plan, I tired him out enough." Declares Veemon smiling, confusing Taichi.
As Kuwagamon approached, a kind of crimson arrow hit the digimon in the side, knocking it into the water and creating an explosion. Taichi raised his head in surprise before turning in the direction the attack had come from and couldn't help but open his eyes wide when he saw Daisuke standing behind them with both arms in front of his body, however they looked different from the human, more monstrous.
"Okay, that's enough! What's going on here, Daisuke? How come Kuwagamon is here, what happened to Veemon and what about his arms, what the hell is going on!" Taichi exclaimed as he stood up while approaching Daisuke until he noticed the boy's inexpressive look and the scars on his face, which made Taichi's expression change from anger to concern. "...My god Daisuke, your face, what..."
"Taichi." Daisuke interrupted Taichi's questioning before walking past him, but stopped next to the older boy, making him notice how the two of them were now the same size. "Get out of here while you still can. Veemon, let's go."
"You got it!" Exclaimed Veemon as Kuwagamon stood up roaring at them.
"Trap Scissors!" Kuwagamon chanted before lunging forward with his fangs bared.
Seeing this, Daisuke lunged forward before extending his arms to grab the fangs as Veemon jumped on his back and ran through Kuwagamon's fangs until he reached its head. Once there, Veemon's fists were covered in blue energy as he punched Kuwagamon's face, earning a few cracks.
"V-Punch!"
After that, Veemon managed to balance himself before starting to punch the same spot as his opponent, causing Kuwagamon to growl before spinning his body around, launching Daisuke and Veemon upwards. Daisuke narrowed his eyes before lowering one of his hands towards Kuwagamon, but he stopped when he saw Taichi staring at them with a frightened look, so he pulled his hand away.
Kuwagamon, however, roared at them as his arms began to glow before raising them towards the two of them.
"Scissors arms!"
Daisuke frowned and brought his arms up to block the blows, before finding himself flying across the field until he hit the ground hard, feeling his back snap. Immediately, he began to use the reverse cursed energy technique to heal himself as he got up.
Veemon, on the other hand, managed to dodge Kuwagamon's blow before his head was covered in energy in the shape of a dragon.
"V-Headed!"
The blow hit the digimon squarely in the head, knocking him back a few steps before hitting Veemon with one of his arms, knocking the small digimon into a tree that shattered on impact.
"..." Taichi continued to stare in silence at the scene without believing how the two of them were fighting, how Daisuke could fight the digimon.
At that moment, the boy started to walk backwards when his pocket felt heavier, which made him put his hand in it and take out his digivice which felt heavy in his hand. Taichi stared at the object as he remembered the destruction he had seen Kuwagamon do, how people were scared and running away from him.
How Daisuke was thrown into a car.
Slowly, Taichi looked at Daisuke who seemed to have returned to the fight, dodging Kuwagamon's blows as he tried to attack.
"Oh no… Crap." Thought Taichi as he watched Daisuke receive a blow to his stomach that threw him into the stream as Veemon returned to the fight, only for Kuwagamon to pick him up and throw him at Daisuke. "I can't do anything."
Kuwagamon suddenly stood up and roared before running towards Taichi who closed his eyes tightly and turned his head away, not wanting to see what would happen next and bracing himself for the impact.
At that moment, Tai's digivice emitted a golden glow before a flash of light appeared in front of the boy throwing a yellow reptile-like creature with long arms, three claws with short legs and two large green eyes in front of the boy, this was Agumon, Taichi's digimon partner. As soon as Agumon landed on the ground, its mouth seemed to twitch with flames coming out of its sides.
"Flame baby!" Exclaimed Agumon, firing a small fireball at Kuwagamon which caused the monster to roar in pain and take a few steps backwards.
Realizing that he hadn't been crushed as he had expected, Taichi opened his eyes in surprise only to notice Agumon, staring at the digimon with surprise and hope as he turned to face him too before approaching.
"Taichi." Greeted Agumon, making Taichi smile brightly at him.
"Agumon! Long time no see, my friend." Taichi declares as the two hug excitedly.
"Taichi, how you've grown." Compliments Agumon cheerfully, making Taichi smile with good humor.
"And you've shrunk." Taichi comments cheerfully.
At that moment, they both heard a bang which made them turn their attention to Kuwagamon who seemed to be dodging the blows from Daisuke and Veemon who seemed to be fighting in sync trying to hit him.
"We don't have time for this!" Exclaimed Agumon, turning to face Kuwagamon, which made Taichi nod as he stood up.
"Agumon, we need to stop this madness of his." Declares Taichi seriously, making Agumon nod.
"Understood!" With that said, Tai's digivice began to glow at the same time as Agumon as his form seemed to increase.
"Agumon digivolve to..." Agumon's voice echoed before a flash of light occurred, revealing that he was now a large orange dinosaur with blue markings wearing a sort of helmet that covered the top of his head with three horns.
"Greymon!"
Hearing this, Daisuke and Veemon jumped to the side, allowing Greymon to attack Kuwagamon directly, causing him to retreat. Noticing this, the two exchanged a glance before nodding and running towards the enemy at the same time as Greymon fired a fireball at his opponent.
"Mega Flame."
As soon as the fireball hit Kuwagamon, Daisuke put his hands together allowing Veemon to jump on him before being thrown. While in the air, Veemon's head was covered in energy as it spun around to form an energy saw.
"V-headed: Saw."
As soon as the saw was formed, it hit one of Kuwagamon's horns, cutting it off, which made the digimon roar with rage before Greymon put himself between the two humans and the smaller digimon.
"He's much stronger than the last time we fought." Greymon comments, making the other three stare at him.
"So you've fought him, have you? Well... That explains why he was following Taichi." Veemon commented, looking at Daisuke.
"What's the plan?" Daisuke asks as Greymon smiles confidently.
"Leave it, I'll stop him!" Declares Greymon, making Taichi smile.
"I'm counting on you, Greymon."
With that, Greymon runs towards Kuwagamon, followed by Daisuke and Veemon, making Taichi's eyes widen.
"Hey, wait."
Daisuke and Veemon climb up Greymon's back and run up to Kuwagamon before kicking him, causing the digimon to retreat. Seeing this, Greymon lunged forward, pushing his opponent back as a portal appeared right behind them, making Veemon's eyes widen before he turned to Daisuke.
"Throw me into them!"
Daisuke nodded before grabbing Veemon, turning to gain momentum and throw his partner into the air. Cursed Veemon flew until he landed on Greymon's back as the three digimon entered the portal, which disappeared soon after.
Meanwhile, Daisuke and Taichi ran to where their digimons were and saw that all that remained was a destroyed road.
"They're gone." Murmured Taichi in surprise, causing Daisuke to frown.
"Damn, that was worse than expected." Grumbles Daisuke before picking up his cell phone and quickly dialing a number. "Akari, we have a problem, the target has escaped."
Hearing his words, Taichi turned to Daisuke and watched as he spoke to someone on the phone.
"Yes, I know. I had a setback." Daisuke declared, casting a quick glance at Taichi, who frowned at him. "Yes. Yes. Yes. Look just come here, we need to locate them so we can take care of Kuwagamon... That's the digimon's name. Certainly a semi-special rank, I had to restrain myself so as not to cause more damage and hurt the civilians."
"...Daisuke." Calls Taichi, but Daisuke ignores him.
"Okay, new plan, find Veemon, take Kuwagamon to a secluded spot, create the curtain and get rid of the problem, got it. You can tell the superiors, I'll take care of everything." Assures Daisuke before looking around. "I don't know exactly where I am, I'll send you the location, don't worry."
"Daisuke!" Calls Taichi again, this time louder, making Daisuke sigh before pulling out his cell phone, typing something into it quickly as he returns to the call.
"Just hurry, I have to take care of something else now." Daisuke declared before ending the call and turning to face Taichi, who was staring at him impatiently. "Hey Taichi."
"Don't 'Hey Taichi' me." Taichi proclaimed angrily, imitating Daisuke's voice as he repeated it before approaching the boy. "What the hell was that all about?"
Daisuke stares silently at Taichi before looking away for a few moments.
"Taichi, when I bring Agumon back, take him home and stay there." Hearing these words, Taichi couldn't help but stare at the boy in confusion.
"What?"
"Take Agumon, go home and stay there, if I find your other partners I'll bring them to you safe and alive, just stay out of it." Warns Daisuke seriously.
When he was a child, he didn't see the danger of digimon, nor the evil that existed in the world. From his childish perspective everyone had a good side and it was impossible for evil to triumph. But he was no longer a child, any trace of innocence or ignorance about this vanished when he met Mahito.
"Stay out of it? Daisuke, digimons are in the human world, look at the damage they've done, I can't stand by when..." Taichi begins, making Daisuke stare at him.
"You were standing still." Interrupts Daisuke, making Taichi stare at him. "Kuwagamon attacked and you stood still, you were going to die if Veemon and I hadn't shown up, when Agumon showed up, you were also going to die standing still, when Greymon showed up you stood still."
Daisuke's every sentence felt like a slap in the face to Taichi, who opened his eyes wide and looked at the boy who used to idolize him with a hurt look on his face.
"So I'm telling you, stay at home with your digimon or take them out for a walk, eat ice cream, play ball, it doesn't matter. Let me deal with this problem, Taichi." Daisuke asks as Taichi stares at him, his bravado seeming to have faded.
"But..."
"Yolei, Iori and Ken are missing or dead. This problem is more serious than you realize, so for your own safety, stay away from it." Declares Daisuke before the two hear a horn, making them turn to see a limousine approaching them, which made Daisuke perk up and approach, but Taichi grabbed his shoulder.
"No, I can't do that, if it's as serious as you say you'll need all the help you can get, I can help." Taichi argued, making Daisuke turn to face him.
This time Taichi really gets scared and lets go of Daisuke, not because of anger, but because of Daisuke's empty stare, as if he couldn't see any hope, as if he no longer had the glow that made him who he was.
"Taichi, you don't know what you're asking for, stay out of it." Warns Daisuke one last time before running to the limousine, leaving Taichi alone.
(In the limousine.)
Akari glanced briefly at Daisuke who looked annoyed, his conversation with the boy from earlier had clearly brought up conflicting feelings in the troubled teenager, unfortunately, she had her orders and should obey them.
"Daisuke." Akari called out, making Daisuke face her. "The upper echelon is summoning you, they're not happy about what happened."
"...Okay, take me to them."
(Scene break.)
"...Witnesses said it was a giant insect causing damage to buildings and streets." declared a woman in the newspaper before the screen was paused to reveal a television inside a large dark room with a small circular area in the middle with several tables and chairs around it, behind which was a kind of white panel with dark kanji.
In the middle of the stage stood Daisuke Motomiya in his cut and battered sorcerer's uniform while other videos of the previous fight played, but he didn't let any emotion show on his face.
"...That was a disaster." Declares an ancient voice of a bald, light-skinned old man, with a beard and long white eyebrows, he had some elongators on his lobes wearing a traditional white kimono as he stared at Daisuke with a calm expression. "You should have resolved this without causing any trouble and without bringing any civilians into it. You still managed to lose one of our greatest allies in this battle, your current partner, Cursed Veemon."
Daisuke grunted, looking at the old man. "I know what happened, I take full responsibility for what happened. All damages will be paid out of my pocket."
"Very noble of you, but that's not what we're interested in, Motomiya." A female voice declared, causing Daisuke to turn in her direction.
Sitting at the table was a pretty, fair-skinned woman with long dark hair in a short ponytail behind her head and a large scar on her cheek going down to her nose, wearing an elegant kimono. This was Iori Utahime.
"Although you accept the consequences of your actions, which was going to happen anyway, it doesn't change the fact that this Kuwagamon is loose in our world and wreaking havoc. We're letting you deal with this problem thanks to your partnership with Cursed Veemon, as well as your special rank, but it's been a major disaster. People were hurt and several saw the digimon and your fight." Narrates Iori calmly looking at Daisuke. "What we want to know, Motomiya, is what will be done?"
"We're working on locating the digimon and when we find it we'll summon the curtain. Once inside, with no civilians, Veemon and I will fight without holding back any longer." Daisuke declares sternly.
(At the same time.)
A portal opened as a plane took off down the runway, almost getting caught up in the fight of Kuwagamon, Greymon and Cursed Veemon. The two larger digimons looked more tired while Veemon was calmer on top of Greymon's head, staring at his opponent before looking around.
"An airport?" Veemon asked, looking around before smiling, this place was perfect. With that, Veemon looked into one of Greymon's eyes. "Hey Greymon, can you hold him for me?"
"Hold him? I can beat him!" Greymon assured, causing Veemon to nod before jumping to the ground.
"Hold on as long as you can, prevent him from entering any other portal, understand?" Veemon asks, making Greymon nod at him.
"Leave it to me."
Veemon soon started running towards the control tower, one good thing about being one of the 'wizards' of the Jujutsu world was that he now had access to the managers and something he knew was that in all airports there should be 'camps' of them to control the entry and exit of the wizards and possible curses that could appear.
Veemon's plan was simple: find the managers and ask them to contact Nitta so that she and Daisuke could come and eliminate the wild digimon. Hearing an explosion behind him made Veemon pick up his pace.
He wanted as little damage as possible, but Greymon and Kuwagamon might not have the same idea.
(Inside an observation tower.)
"Holy shit, are those the digimon things that warned us? They're almost as ugly as the curses." Commented a man in a suit looking at the creatures fighting with his binoculars, next to him was another man who seemed to be looking for something on his cell phone.
"Yes, normally we should invoke a curtain to neutralize this threat, but I don't feel confident doing that while a battle like this is taking place..." Retorted the other man, looking frustrated. "Damn... Who were we supposed to warn about digimon sightings? Was it Ren or Nayuta?"
While the two were arguing, one of the windows broke, causing the two to turn around startled, preparing their cursed objects to fight when they realized it was Cursed Veemon, a special grade 'sorcerer' and one of the few who was allowed to deal with digimons.
"Sorry about that." Veemon said, glancing at the window before looking at the two managers. "But I need you to contact Akari Nitta."
"Oh, of course." One of the managers nods nervously before making the call.
(With Taichi.)
"Greymon! Greymon, where are you?" Calls Taichi in front of the street destroyed by the digimon fight.
Unfortunately, Taichi received no response other than silence, which only frustrated him even more. He didn't like not knowing what was going on, it was frustrating, even more so when Agumon was back and Daisuke was emerging from whatever corner he was in before.
It had been four years since either Taichi or any of the other digi-destined had seen Daisuke and the first contact between them was during a battle with digimon? With Daisuke personally attacking a digimon? That was a lot for Taichi to think about.
Taichi now had many questions and no answers. Why was a digimon in the human world? How did Agumon and Veemon get back to this world? What happened to Veemon? What happened to Daisuke? How could he fight digimon like that?
And above all, how was Taichi supposed to explain this to Hikari?
He knew how Daisuke's disappearance had affected his little sister, how horrible she had felt about the way their last conversation had gone, the nights she had cried remembering it. Although they found Daisuke's infatuation with her somewhat irritating, he was still their childhood friend, they had all practically grown up together.
Heck, even Taichi couldn't understand what he himself was feeling about this new Daisuke. His old kouhai who once idolized him was completely different now: serious, strong and brave, but without the sparkle he had before, he seemed to be a shell of what had once been Daisuke Motomiya.
Just then, his cell phone began to vibrate, causing Taichi to reach for it, only to freeze when he saw his sister's contact number calling him. Taichi swallowed before answering.
"Hikari?"
"Problem here, Taichi." Hikari said in a low voice, probably whispering somewhere so as not to attract attention. "According to the news, digimon have been spotted at Haneda airport."
Upon hearing this, Taichi's eyes widened. "Haneda? But how am I going to get to Haneda?"
Unfortunately, Taichi didn't know where his bike was, having been abandoned when Veemon used it to lure the Kuwagamon and Daisuke didn't seem to be around to offer a ride.
"Look, Hikari, you too..." Taichi starts to speak, but he quickly stops himself as he remembers the destruction the Kuwagamon wrought and how Daisuke was thrown around like a rag doll... he didn't want that for Hikari.
"What?"
"No, forget it. Thanks for your help." Taichi declared before hanging up the call, at which point another person called out to him.
"Yagami!"
Hearing his name being called, Taichi turned to face the caller and saw someone he hadn't expected.
It was a tall, fair-skinned man with short black hair and dark eyes, dressed in a suit who was standing near a car. This was Daigo Nishijima, Taichi's teacher at school.
"Nishijima sensei?"
"Come in!" On hearing this, Taichi looked confused, but obeyed. This was the way to get to the airport and he had to take advantage of it. When he met up with Agumon, everything would work out.
(Some time later.)
Everything went wrong.
Taichi coughed a little as he stood up, watching as Greymon took the blow for him while Kuwagamon roared into the sky with two others appearing through portals. Worst of all was seeing Greymon glowing before returning to Agumon's form looking bruised and injured.
"Taichi!" A voice called out, but before anything else could be said, a kind of dark dome appeared in the sky before covering the whole place, making everyone startle.
"What about that one now? Do these guys have any more tricks up their sleeves?" growled a boy running to Taichi's side.
This boy was tall and fair-skinned, with short blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a gray shirt with a black jacket and black pants and ordinary sneakers; this was Yamato Ishida, one of the digi-chosen and the one who bore the crest of friendship. Next to him was a bipedal creature with yellow skin and a sort of blue wolf skin with dark stripes covering it with a yellow horn on its forehead, this was Gabumon, Yamato's partner.
Next to him was a tall girl with slightly tanned skin, short red hair down to her neck and brown eyes, she was wearing a beige shirt with a green jacket with red pants and a pair of high heels on her feet, this was Sora Takenouchi, the digi-chosen bearer of the crest of love. Hugging her leg was a bipedal creature resembling a pink bird with bright green eyes with a blue tint at the tips, this was Biyomon, Sora's partner.
Following her was a slightly shorter boy with fair skin, short red hair and brown eyes, he was wearing a green tuxedo with a simple bow tie, this was Koushiro Izumi, the digi-gifted bearer of the crest of wisdom. At his feet was a small humanoid insect with a dark red shell with a few spines and a pair of orange antennae with large green eyes, this was Tentomon, Koushiro's partner.
Next was a boy similar to Yamato, only younger and smaller, he had a gray hat on his head with a white shirt with a black vest, a gray scarf around his neck and dark pants with black sneakers, this was Takeru Takaishi or 'TK', the digi-chosen bearer of the crest of hope. Next to him was a hamster-like creature with a pair of bat wings on its back, this was Patamon, TK's partner.
And last was Hikari, Taichi's sister, accompanied by three digimon.
One resembled a white bipedal cat with purple details and a pair of clawed gloves on its hands, this was Gatomon, Hikari's partner.
The other was a kind of humanoid plant with olive green skin with a flower in place of hair and large dark eyes, this was Palmon.
The last digimon was a kind of sea creature with white hair and purple tribal markings with a red mohawk on its head, this was Gomamon.
"That doesn't look good." Koushirou comments as soon as everyone approaches Taichi and Agumon.
"I told you to go home Taichi, not to gather the rest of the group." Comments Daisuke as he walks calmly past them, his arms completely transformed and with Veemon by his side, which surprises the digi-chosen.
"...Daisuke?" Takeru asks in shock, seeing the boy in front of him.
"Veemon." Calls Daisuke as he stares at the Kuwagamons.
"Yes, Daisuke?"
"With the curtain up, even with them here we're allowed to use lethal force." Daisuke declared, surprising the others with both his tone and his words. "No pity, no compassion now, we have three targets and we'll only stop when they're no longer a problem, understand?"
"Yeah, got it!"
In the next moment, Daisuke and Veemon rushed towards the three Kuwagamons who roared before attacking them too.

What did you think of the short meeting between Daisuke and the Digi-Destined? I tried to keep it brief thanks to the immediate threat of Kuwagamon, which would be Daisuke's main focus.
