Our heroes went for a stroll through the through the Manosque Cittadelle de Sisteron, and they were looking for transport to get them to Arles. Gaulois found a van to rent, and he with drove to the Verdon Gorge Natural Park with the Flame and the group. At a certain camp in the Verdon Gorge, our heroes took a rest. While resting, the Phryges then discovered that the Space Goofs came over for a visit too. The Space Goofs have successfully returned the artifact to Marseille, and they have cleaned up the entire mess Beidou has committed. It looks like the Space Goofs are having a request to join Gaukois on the odyssey to Paris.
"Pleasant running into you again!" said Gaulois joyfully. "Are you looking forward to relax or join in the journey?" he then asked.
"Didn't we tell you we would return as we said earlier?" Etno replied, "We are glad to be part of your team since we helped you previously."
"Oui, of course! You are welcome on my team, and I shall say by toutatis, The Olympic Flame will be even more safe and sound with us around! Welcome, Space Goofs!" Gaulois answered. He then shook hands with Etno, signaling that the Space Goofs are part of the team!
"Oh joy!" excalaimed Candy with excitement, "We are gonna be headed for the City of Lights! How romantic!" Just then, he was interrupted by Gorgious who was in a rather unsettling mood.
"Uhh…guys! Looks like we've got company!" said Gorgious with his binoculars. The others used the binoculars too, and they were in total shock! It was Captain Chantal Dubois and her officers from the distance on a motorcycle, and she is in hot pursuit!
"Guys! Let's get on the spaceship and van! Let's go!" The Phryges, Asterix, Obelix and Gaulois then boarded the van and drive away, hoping to avoid the clutches of the villainous French animal control officer. The group zipped through the Verdon Gorge Park, with the group headed in the direction of Arles. The heroes then saw one unsettling thing that made them feel frightened. Someone was approaching behind them, with a warning sign approaching the red dot on the GPS. Captain Chantal Dubois and her officers are hot on their tail, ready to capture them!
"Volia! Hats at 12 o'clock!" Captain Chantal Dubois smirked at the sight of the Phryges. She was ready to capture them as additions for her collection along with an unfinished job of catching a certain lion! The heroes tried to slow down Dubois with various methods, like banana skins, grease and barricades. It was useless, since Captain Chantal Dubois had dodged them with ease while her other officers were badly injured and fell off the course!
"You can run, but you can't save your hides!" Just when all hope was lost, Asterix and Obelix had an idea. Asterix then told Obelix what to do, and Obelix then used a large stone to hurl at a pile of rocks on the mountain. The large stone hot the rocks, and the pile of rocks crashed down on the bridge, breaking it. Captain Chantal Dubois tried to chase after them, but she failed and fell into the water.
"Nice one, Obelix! You did great!" complimented Asterix. "Arles, here we come!"
"Au revoir, creep!" Bud waved goodbye. "Good luck on catching us anytime soon!"
Captain Chantal Dubois then emerged from the water, and she looked from a distance. "Well played, rooster and amis. Game on." Captain Chantel Dubois said with a smirk. The real fun begins now, with villains on the path await our heroes' judgement day.
Lila Rossi was in her secret hideout in Paris, and she commented, "You heroes got lucky this time, but we have another surprise for you. Your judgement day will come, along with someone in black and white!" A Chinese figure appeared behind her, ready for playing the role of the executioner in Arles. The heroes have to get themselves prepared for their newest enemy in the next destination….
