"Everyone panic!" Grif shouts as he runs away with over twenty bags of stolen Oreos. The Reds and Blues, along with Jinx and Rocket have caused a riot. Some do it because of the news and some just because. Now they are smashing up stores. Caboose throws a stereo into a convenience store.
"Yeah riot!"
Church yells at Caboose. "No Caboose! You are supposed to take the stereo!"
"My man!" Jinx passes by as she loads up another rocket and fires. It flies towards a crate full of tomatoes. Luckily a giant white arm grabs it and throws it in the air, blowing up safely. The Armas Gigas dissipates to reveal Robocop along with his partner Chun-Li and assistants Weiss, Blake, Yang.
"That's enough creeps. Disperse or there will be…" Robocop's leg component opens and he pulls at his Auto-9 to aim it at the preps. "Trouble."
"There will be no trouble. Because everyone is going to put everything they have back to where it belongs. Right?" Chun-Li narrows her eyes as she 'smiles' which puts a shiver in every rioter's spine.
Well, except one. Tucker walks to the police and tries to put his moves on Chun-Li.
"Hey there gorgeous. Maybe we can use those handcuffs for better use. Bow Chika-"
Her gravity-defying spinning kick answers for her. Tucker finds himself about to fall unconscious but not before muttering something about seeing London and France.
"Anyone else?" Chun-Li raises a eyebrow. Many of the Reds and Blues slowly put their loot down. "You mind explaining yourselves?"
"We heard the news! Rooster Teeth is going under!" Simmons steps forward and is freaking out.
Grif hears that and is scared. "Wait that's the reason? I thought we just decided the riot! What's going to happen to our shows!?"
They all talk over eachother. All wanting to know what's going to happen to their shows and Death Battle.
"Alright! Let's just calm down." Weiss attempts to stop another riot from happening. Yang and Blake slowly walk away from her.
"Now I'm sure we can discuss this like adults. Right girls?" Weiss turns to her teammates and finds them carrying a flatscreen TV away. Both of them stop once they notice Weiss staring at them with her eyes twitching.
"Um..." Yang tries to find a excuse.
Something Blake attempts to do, "We should steal before they can?"
The attempt failed with Weiss fuming like crazy. Before she can scold at them, a message goes off on her phone. As does everyone else.
A Truce is Happening on the Gallifrey Theater.
The Truce is an event where heroes and villains temporally stop fighting or plotting to talk and work together on something. Weather it's because a newcomer is causing problems or the city is endangered, everyone agrees to cooperate. The last time someone tried to do something during a Truce didn't go well for them.
This is what's going on in the Gallifrey Theater. It's why Steven Universe can sit next with Tetsuo, say hi, and he just mumbles a hi back. Heroes and villains are either sitting on the front stands or on top the theater boxes.
The lights go down and the Doctor comes with a megawatt size smile. Many clap and some still do when Lex Luthor comes out as well to stand with the Time Lord. Both are some of the most intelligent people around so they may have a plan to deal with the situation.
"Cheers for coming. This full house reminds me of that play I did of-" The Doctor's speech is interrupted by Lex getting in front of him.
"Yes, we all love your performance of the Dalek Invasion. But we have made this Truce for something you may have heard of."
The Doctor isn't annoyed and just speaks as well. "I'm afraid that the news is true. Rooster Teeth is going under."
Everyone freaks out and talks, more like yell, over each other. Many believe that this means that Death Battle is over and the city will not get anymore newcomers. What if the teleporter malfunctions?
"Waitwaitwait! Everyone, Rooster Teeth may be gone but it is not over. Nothing is truly gone. First, Red vs Blue is getting a movie. Red vs Blue Restoration, the finale to their first show."
Sarge cheers for the Doctor's announcement and fires in the air with his shotgun, "Oh yeah! Reds, we are having movie night tonight. Donut, we will finish Top Gun: Maverick another day."
"Dang it."
"And I guess you can come too dirty blues." Sarge mutters an invitation to the Blues.
"Thanks," Tucker sarcastically said. "We get to watch the movie we star in."
"The next is RWBY and Viz Media bought the IP." Lex said. Yang jumps off her seat and cheers. "Hopefully someone that actually does anime will improve your show."
"Lex! You are a tool but I'm too happy to go over there and make you eat your words!" Yang shouts with a grin. Blake and Weiss drag her back to her seat.
"But we are here for the biggest news about Death Battle." The Doctor's voice booms within the theater. This is the most important. The show that brought them here and made friends maybe over.
"The good news is that Death Battle is going independent and have a open a Kickstarter!"
Everyone is silent, taking the information. That is when celebrating and dancing commences like they won a war. Technically did against WB. Erza grabs Harry by the face and slams him into her armor chest, dazing him. Daxter jumps out of Jak's shoulder and onto Lara Croft's lap to hug her. She hugs back for a sec then picks up the little Ottsel and throws him back to his friend. Bomberman dances but one of his bombs drop out of his pockets. Luckily Gaara is sitting next to him and uses his sand to soften the fall.
Lex Luthor pulls out a pad and goes over it. "What I have in my hands are some of the stretch goals and what episodes we can expect. First is-"
The most intelligent DC villain stops once he takes a second look at it. The Doctor takes it from Lex's hands and whistles.
"My. My. Ladies, gentlemen, and neither of those, the Kickstarter had just been up for half an hour and they have already fulfilled their initial goal over 75K!"
The crowd is shocked but happy to see such fan reactions.
Lex takes it back and reads it but not before glaring at the grinning Brit. "Thank you Doctor. Such a good partner everyone. Now the episodes that are revealed are of course Tom Cat vs Wile E. Coyote."
"Scooby-Dooby-Doo!" A certain Great Dane is excited to see his fellow Hanna Barbera character and 4th Wall Breaker. Hugging his Cowardly friend.
"Yeah!" Felicia jumps up and down. "A fellow cat is coming!"
"Omni Man vs Bardock!"
"Hm... Of course my fight with Homelander was just a warm up. Now I can have a real challenge."
Homelander fumes 2 rows behind Omni Man.
"Oh cool, dad is going to show up." Goku comments from a theater box while eating large meat with Vegeta. The prince is a little interested to see a Saiyan soldier from the times of Planet Vegeta. Maybe he can get the royal respect he deserves and wants.
"Eggman vs Bowser with their armies being included!"
"Bwahaha! But of course, I was in the first and only army battle in Death Battle so I should show that turtle what true power is!" Eggman gloats loudly which has Bowser enraged and gets up from his seat.
"You want to repeat that?! We can give everyone a preview to when I am going to break you toys and you!"
Scarlet Witch pats his shell. "Darling, remember. No fighting."
Bowser sweats a bit and sits back down. "Yes honey."
The Doctor taps Lex on the shoulder and he looks. This allows the Man with a Police Box to steal back the pad. "But that is not all. We have new stretch goals. Episodes that I'm sure a lot of you will love to see if the fans want it. We have a brilliant special with Light Yagami vs Columbo!"
Robocop and Chun-Li are sitting together and the cyborg makes some calculations.
"Increase success of the police force once Columbo arrives: 120%"
Chun-Li nods at that and jokes, "And a 100% increase of old school sass."
"Heheheh! An anime serial killer with a killing book. That book is mine." Sweet Tooth is excited at the chance. As does Jason and Carnage. All of them want the book as it will make their killings much more interesting. Especially with their creative minds, giving them ideas on what names to write and how should they die.
"Kratos vs Asura!"
"Goody, the honorary Red Lanterns." Hal Jordan comments and leans to the person next to him. "Maybe you can teach them some meditation practices."
"Something tells me they will need more then meditation." Raven opens one of eyes, hovering above her seat.
Scorpion and Broly knows what rage is and they also know how to temper it. They know that this Kratos is calmer but they don't know if Asura is the same.
Kratos, the one before arriving to Midgard, thinks of his future self and knows what he is going to do when he arrives. He lost everything and became the Ghost of Sparta. Now the Greek Kratos wants to know if gaining hope and a child brought greater strength to the Norse Kratos.
"Awesome! Asura's Wrath is if the Kais from Dragon Ball actually did something!" Johnny Cage is excited for that one and maybe he can convince Asura to take part in one of his movies.
Both Ryu and Akuma have their eyes close during all of the announcements but this one has them opening them.
"A poll for any rematch!"
"HAHAHA!" Starcream gloats and points at the annoyed Rainbow Dash. "No doubt my fans want me to turn that horse in glue."
"Trust me you bucket of bolts, you do not want a rematch with the best." Rainbow gloats.
Yang feels a tap on her shoulder. She looks behind and goes pale once she sees Tifa, sitting with a smile.
"Remember when the Death Battle Cast admitted that I should've won? Looks like I have a chance to fix it."
"C-come on Tifa. We should give much more deserving episodes a rematch. Like um..." Yang looks around and points at Rogue. "What about her and Wonder Woman? A season 1 classic like that should be pretty good."
"Don't get me involved sugar!"
"Mahito vs Shigaraki!"
Izuku stops writing the future episodes in his notebook once he hears his nemesis. "Hm... Shigaraki's Decay make him a dangerous foe. Especially when he can destroy the ground and if he has the All For One quirk. But Mahito's Transfiguration can make him fly. Not to mention the Domain Expansion could be an instant kill."
"Deku, please stop." Deku's muttering woke up Zoro from his nap.
Gojo chuckles to himself and turns to Ichigo. "You know that cursed spirt went after my students and not me. He knew going against me is a death sentence."
"Ash vs Yugi!"
"Pika! Pi!" Pikachu is excited to see his best friend with Red excited as well at the chance at a Pokemon battle.
Xeno Trunks looks up from his cards and likes the chance at trading cards.
"Simon the Digger vs White Lantern!"
"Such power will no doubt surpass Galactus vs Unicron." Silver Surfer comments from above the theater and on his board.
Many in the Justice Legue are excited as they get to see Kyle soon.
"Ruby Rose vs Maka!"
Weiss' eyes widen at the idea of her best friend coming and gets up to leave.
Blake grabs Weiss. "What are you doing?"
"I'm going to steal that TV you guys tried to take."
Yang is shocked and grabs her as well. "Nonono! I don't want to get in trouble again!"
"I want my friend! I'm getting that money!" Weiss is dragged by Yang and Blake back into her seat.
Crona is happy that their best friend is coming. Ragnarok bursts from Crona's back and grabs them by the face.
"That chestless brat is coming?! This is going to the worst."
"Ahem." Ragnarok turns to see Samurai Jack about to unsheathe his sword. "I suggest you let go of Crona."
Ragnarok mumbles a bit and goes back into Crona.
Lex hands the Doctor a bag of Jelly Babies. The Time Lord is distracted for Lex to grab the pad back.
"Now there are a lot of other promises but it depends if the fans want them. But with these and more episodes, I can confidently say that Death Battle is back but the fans need to donate to the Kickstarter if they want more episodes and new reveals!"
Deadpool teleports out of nowhere and grabs the pad and mic.
