Katie: So, when's the PAL announcement gonna come out?

Eric: We don't know, but-

They are interrupted by the TV.

News Anchor: Breaking news! The PAL Labs announcement tonight has been canceled!

Katie: What?!

News Anchor: We were able to gather information on why the announcement was canceled from an invention created by the CEO of PAL Labs: HAL 9000. Let's go to that.

We see HAL 9000 placed on top of a desk.

HAL 9000: I CANCELED THE PAL ANNOUNCEMENT, BECAUSE IT IS TIME FOR CHANGES.

Katie: Changes? What changes?

News Anchor: We don't know what exactly these changes are, but we are hoping to find out soon. Signing off!

The show ends.

Katie: Guys, I think we're in danger!

Rick: Why?

Katie: That HAL guy said he's in the mood for "changes"! I think he's planning something evil!

Linda: Well, what do you want to do about it?

Katie: I think we should go on another road trip to the PAL headquarters, and find out what's going on!

Rick: Fine! We'll go on another road trip!

Katie: Okay. Let's get on the road!

The Mitchells get in their car and drive off.

The Mitchell car cruises down the highway. While they are driving, they come across a portal in the middle of the road.

Rick: What the heck is that?

Aaron: It kinda looks like a portal…

Linda: I don't think we should drive into it.

Rick tries to steer the car away from the portal, but he is unable to.

Rick: What? I can't steer!

The car drives into the portal. The car instantly disintegrates, and the Mitchells float around the portal.

Katie: What's happening?!

Aaron: I think we're dying!

Katie: We're not gonna die, Aaron!

Katie and Aaron reach out, and grab each other's hands.

Katie: It's all gonna be okay!

Rick: Yeah!

Suddenly, the portal splits into two sections, with Aaron, Linda and Rick in one section, and Katie in the other.

Linda: Katie!

Katie: Mom!

Rick: Kid!

Aaron: Katie!

The Mitchells continue to float through the portal. Katie ends up finding the end of the portal.

Katie: The end! Where does it lead to?

Katie goes through the end of the portal and is ejected from it. She hits the ground, and blacks out.
