The World Championships
Chapter 77 Dark News
The following morning, the G-Revolutions, Hiro and Yumeko woke up early for breakfast. After Tyson and Kai had walked Crash and Shadow, they returned and sat down to watch the news.
From the television, the news reporter a tall woman with short brown hair spoke.
"Good morning, everyone, my name is Jane Goodman and I'm reporting from downtown, an organisation called Heirloom has now been set up by a Mr. Brad Bellick." Said the reporter. "Mr. Bellick is the chairman of Heirloom and he has a few words to say."
On television, the news reporter handed over to an overweight bald man who was smartly dressed in a black suit and striped tie. With him was another man who was smartly dressed and looked very familiar, Tyson recognised him instantly it was none other than Mr. Coupe. A third man in a cream suit and glasses was present as well, along with a ginger-haired boy. The ginger-haired boy was sixteen-years-old and familiar to Mr. Coupe. In an earlier news article, James Tayler had broken into Justizanstalt Wien Josefstadt through the sewers and blew up the door to Mr. Coupe's cell and helped him escape from prison.
"Hello, everyone, my name is Mr. Brad Bellick, and this is Mr. Steve Coupe and Mr. Thomas Fulton, and along with James Tayler here, we've set up Heirloom to help promote Beyblading in orphanages and it also allows underprivileged children to learn to Beyblade. Heirloom has helped many children develop and uncover their potential in Beyblade." Mr. Bellick explained. "More and more children are signing up to Heirloom to take blading lessons with our finest coaches in our training facilities."
"James here was a big help in Heirloom in that he helped my dear friend Mr. Coupe out of jail to work with Heirloom again."
"Why would I let my friends down?" said James.
"I wonder what this Mr. Bellick is trying to use Heirloom for." Tyson asked. "What's worse is that Mr. Coupe is back for revenge, but that Mr. Fulton doesn't look like good news either and I especially don't like James Tayler."
"I don't trust him, he claims to be well-intentioned but I doubt it." Ray added.
"Listen to the news, we'll get an idea of this Bellick guy as we hear." Kai interjected.
Sure enough, the G-Revolutions listened intently.
"Heirloom has a large training facility that consists of a gym and state of the art Beyblade training room." Mr. Bellick stated. "We also promote and encourage Beyblading and team activities to help prospective beybladers come to join. In addition to that Heirloom works to help orphans learn to beyblade and one day enter tournaments."
"It seems like Mr. Bellick is clearly out for helping orphans." Daichi added.
"I don't trust him." Tyson said seriously.
"Well, it looks like we'll just have to meet him and find out."
"Yes."
"Let's go."
Sure enough, the G-Revolutions showered and dressed before heading off out. Yumeko also went with them.
The walk downtown was a long one and the G-Revolutions wanted to find out the truth. Was Bellick really a philanthropist or was he a criminal.
On the way downtown, they saw Tala and his girlfriend Luna sat having a picnic. Tala's arm was wrapped round Luna's waist while taking a photo of them. Tyson stopped briefly.
"Tala, you know right?"
"About Mr. Bellick."
"Yes."
"Did you see the news?"
"I did, Tyson, Luna and I are going to check it out."
"When are you going?"
"Right now."
After the long walk, the G-Revolutions arrived downtown at a plaza. All the other teams were there as well, along with many other bladers, Tala and Luna were also present. On a stage stood the very same men who the G-Revolutions had seen on the television. The ginger haired boy was also present.
"Is that Mr. Bellick?"
The overweight bald man cleared his throat importantly
