Backstory:

The Shirai-Ryu and the Lin-Quai, two ninja clans who have been at war with each other since members of the Lin-Quai defected and created their own clan, from these clans came two of the most FEARED combatants in the multiverse of Mortal Kombat, Scorpion and Sub-Zero but not the Sub-Zero we know, in this alternate universe this icy warrior was born female, these two were once the deadliest of rivals after Sub-Zero was falsely accused of murdering Scorpions wife and son, but after the stories of "Mortal Kombat 9" and "Mortal Kombat X" Scorpion returned to his human form, forever severed from Quan Chi, the sorcerer who turned Scorpion into an undead wraith and Sub-Zero reverted from her cyborg form to human form once again sat down and formed an alliance with each other putting they're rivalries and hatred behind them, for the next three years they fought alongside each other and eventually they fell in love and for the first time in their clan's history, they brought the Shirai-Ryu and the Lin-Quai together to form one clan once again, a new ninja clan rose from the ashes of the old, one with a code of honor to protect Earthrealm, forming a POWERFUL new generation of warriors with unquestionable honor and from the union of fire and ice came the first of their new clan, the Shirai-Qui, this daughter of theirs was named Momiji Hanzo who inherited her parents fire and ice manipulation, she was considered one of the best in the clan, trained since the moment she could walk in Ninjutsu and other forms of combat, stealth, tactics and weapons, Momiji soon dawned the Shirai-Qui ninja garbs and soon came to join the next generation of Earthrealm warriors alongside Cassie Cage, Jaquie Brigs, Takeda and Kung Jin eventually not only becoming friends with them despite her being a little socially awkward but she would eventually be given a nickname that she just couldn't get rid of "Freezer burn" which in time she can to begrudgingly accepted this new nickname she was saddled with, but don't let her nickname mislead you, underestimate her and you will feel the howling, unforgiving storm of fire and ice

When you hear the title, Mortal Kombat, which two characters instantly come to mind, well for me, it's Scorpion and Sub-Zero, the DEADLIEST of enemies who are practically synonymous with the iconic theme song of the franchise itself, now imagine a world where things are…different, the same history only the fact that Sub-Zero was born a woman, in this alternate reality, they have a child who inherited the fire and ice powers of her parents, Momoji Hanzo or as she would later be dubbed Freezer burn is the culmination of both Scorpion and Sub-Zero's mastery in the ways of the Ninja but also combined with the power of Hell fire manipulation and the versatility of Cryomancy, this ninja from an alternate dimension is possibly even deadlier than her parents and if she was in cannon she would probably be one of the deadliest among the Ninja characters on the Mortal Kombat roster, besides fire and ice are opposites but if they are used together then it becomes a DEADLY storm of elemental power.
