Backstory:

The world's most powerful ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, the heir to the Hayabusa ninja clan and wielder of the legendary Dragon sword never really had time for romances in fact he was never known for being a romantic kind of guy, sure he's had women who had crushes on him or fell head over heels in love for him before but in an alternate timeline, things are different, Mai Shiranui the Kunoichi of such enchanting beauty she's practically the wet dream of EVERY male in the world with even half a hormone was devastated that her self-proclaimed fiancée, Andy Bogard had settled down with another woman, though whether it be by chance or by the will of a God, the two meet in the same bar when both her and Ryu were trying to drown their sorrows, Mai with her longtime love interest and Ryu with the death of his father, one thing led to another and the two made love that very night which resulted in Mai becoming pregnant with the heir to the Hayabusa clan legacy, eventually she gave birth to Giyu Hayabusa, for the first thirteen years of his life, Giyu was raised by his single mother which certainly didn't discourage possibly HUNDREDS of gentlemen callers, even as a mom Mai remained as beautiful as ever if not even more so now she was considered a "hot momma" but she devoted all her time to educating and even training her son in her ninja clan arts and for reasons unknown to other men she chose to remain single until reuniting with her son's father, on Giyu's fifteenth birthday she told him who he father was and even meet him, while he was at first mad by the truth of his conception, Ryu made up for it by asking Mai to join the Hayabusa clan on Giyu's eighteenth birthday and married Mai when Giyu turned nineteen which years later resulted in the birth of his two younger sisters and younger brother, with training from both his parents and from the other ninja's of the Hayabusa clan, by the age of thirty Giyu became the new keeper of the legendary Dragon sword, though he struggles a little bit to connect with his father, eventually he comes to deeply love him and even literally took sword through the lung and stomach for his father, the scars left by those injuries are a forever reminder of the love he has for his father as he seeks to live an honorable life

Inspiration for this character:

Ryu Hayabusa is in my opinion is one of the most BADASS ninja in all of fiction, behind Naruto Uzumaki of course, in this alternate reality Mai Shiranui is fed up with Andy Bogard constantly rejecting her affections for him and so, she crosses Ryu Hayabusa who was grieving for the loss of his father, one thing leads to another and eventually Mai Shiranui does eventually find a lover, though one she never would have guessed and even falls pregnant with Ryu's child, Giyu Hayabusa, while Ryu has had many possibly love interests over the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or alive franchises, I don't think they actually settled on which girl he would eventually end up together with I mean there's the obvious Kasumi, Sonya or even my personal picks Ayane, so I figured why not throw in the character who had a crossover with the D.O.A series, Mai Shiranui (In my own personal oppion, I think she deserves someone BETTER than Andy Bogard, I mean he could at LEAST give her a chance, it kind of reminds me of a Sonic and Amy Rose scenario, don't ya think?) but eventually Ryu's gonna have to sire and heir to the Dragon lineage, right, why not with someone like Mai Shiranui?
