Ep 13: The Fellowship

Jo had packed her life away. As she prepared to send it away, Tara walked into the apartment. Jo and Tara have not been able to look each other in the eye since that kiss. Now Tara looked at the boxes that held her friend's life in total despair.

Tara didn't want to tell a drunk Jo how in love with her she was. But she didn't want her to leave either. "Jo?"

Jo stepped out of her room. "Hey!"

"You're really leaving?"

Jo shrugged. "Yeah, I mean, it's a great opportunity."

Tara breathes out. Tears coming to her eyes. "That's great… I mean"

Jo shook her head, "there's nothing here for me."

"What about me…" Tara said, her voice breaking. "We've been through so much. Am I nothing to you?"

Jo opened her mouth then shrank into herself. She couldn't say what she was thinking. All she could remember was that kiss. What could she have said to Tara? She was humiliated by her lack of control. It would be better to just disappear. "You're my person." She whispered.

"Then Stay…" Tara whispered. "Please Stay."

Day 1. Jakarta

We arrived in Jakarta in the evening. We were going to take a tour of Java for the next two weeks. Starting in the capital of Indonesia. Jakarta is so big, it literally counts as a state. The prowling city state boasted so many fun things to do, I didn't really know what to do with myself when I landed.

We stepped out and met our guide Ana. She drove us to our hotel. "So Ana, what does the word Jakarta mean?" Tori asked, as I sat back and looked out of the window.

Tori had never been to Indonesia, and wanted to take in as much of the culture as she could. I just stared out of the window staring at the tall buildings that reminded me of Tokyo.

"Well, " Ana said as she turned onto the highway. "The name "Jakarta" derives from the word Jayakarta which is derived from the Sanskrit jaya which means Victorious and krta Accomplished. So it means Complete Victory"

I smirked. " It's your city miss Victoria." I stated with a smirk.

Tori smirked and leaned back snuggling. "So how many cities are we hitting in this tour of Java." Tori asked.

"Three cities, one Island resort and two national parks." Ana answered. "There is some glamping in your future."

She said and I nearly cringed. I still don't sweat. "I'm sleeping outside?" I asked.

"Glamping, you won't be roughing it baby," Tori soothed me. "You're a star."

I sighed. "It better not be like camping at all."

"Not at all." Ana assured. Then I nodded.

We arrived at our hotel nice and tired, we had one full day in Jakarta tomorrow, we had a food tour of the city planned, and a visit to the amusement park.

So on that day I just dropped on the bed like a stone.

Day 2

"The first settlements on the site of Jakarta were established at the mouth of the Ciliwung river perhaps as early as the 5th century AD." Ana said driving them through the old town of Jakarta."

"Is that when it was founded?" I said leaning out of the rickshaw.

"The city's official history starts in 1527, when the sultan of Bantam defeated the Portuguese there and called the place Jayakerta." Ana said, sitting on the other side of Tori.

"Right," A complete victory. Tori said taking some video with my iPhone. "So how did it become such a conglomerate of cultures?"

"I bet it's just like every other place. I mean…" I stated just wanting to get off and eat some street food.

"The Dutch, captured and razed the city in 1619, after which they built their capital on the site and called it Batavia." Ana answered. "It evolved in three waves. Like the old city is closest to the sea in the north, where Batavia is, then you have the new city."

The Rickshaw driver turned in the road and we headed toward a more modernized area. "Is this it?" Tori asked.

She kept talking and I kind of got distracted by my wife's beauty as she took in all of this nerd shit. I got the gist. The new city started growing between 1809 and 1942 when the Dutch took complete control. Then the third evolution came when modern Jakarta was developed when they declared independence in 1945.

We stopped at The National Monument. It's a tower kinda like the one in DC in the center of Merdeka square.

As we came out of the monument, I took Tori's hand and walked along. Tori placed her head on my shoulder. I was a little uncomfortable, and I looked over at Ana who did everything to not see what was happening. "Tor… I don't think this is cool here."

Tori stood up, eyes wide and looked at me. Then she looked at Ana. "It can't be as bad as it used to be, right?"

Ana closed her eyes and shook her head. "It's worse."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Like before, you could be gay, but as long as you kept it to yourself it was okay." Ana said and sighed. "Now the government is talking about it being illegal, and it's just…"

Tori let my hand go. "What about the Waria?" My wife asks about the Large transgender community in the country.

"Is okay, but the Sharia is making people do bad things to them." She said,

"Wow." I said and frowned. I'd thought that this was at least safer for us because of the Waria.

"We only go out in groups." She said to us quietly. "Never just two. It's too suspicious."

And there it was, why Ana didn't seem too uncomfortable with us holding hands in the Rikshaw. "Do you just want to bail?" I asked Tori.

"I still want to see the world Jade, We just have to be careful and keep it in our pants 'til we get to the hotel." She stated and folded her arms in front of her.

"We are not exactly unknown Tori… we're on a gay TV show." I stated.

"That probably does not air here." Tori stated.

Ana shook her head. "When we reach Bali, you are able to be natural. No one cares in Bali."

"Okay." I said and resumed walking. "Ana what's next?"

"Dunia Fantasi is a theme park," Ana said, heading to a car share station, and picking up a city shared car. Ana stopped somewhere, and picked up another girl to ride with us. "Jade and Tori, My girlfriend Maia. To complete our group."

I nodded and understood her frantic texting before starting the car. We headed to Dunia Fantasi and smiled. I hadn't been in a theme park in a long time. This park was in the middle of a city. It was complete with over 50 rides and attractions. The theme park was divided into eight regions based on different parts of the world. Kind of like Epcot at Disney. The regions are Jakarta, Indonesia, Asia, Africa, America, Europe, and Fantasi Hikayat. The fantasi region had all of those dream- like things with all of the theologies like ancient Greece and Egypt. It was really cool and I wished I had more time in Jakarta to experience the whole park better. But this was our last night in Jakarta.

At the end of the day we went to Sea World Ancol so that we could stand in the most romantic place. They have the largest oceanarium in Southeast Asia. I stood under the tunnel aching to hold my wife in my arms and I couldn't and I was pissed all of a sudden.

"I need to get out of here." I grumped.

"Are you sure?" She said,

"I want to do things to you, and now I'm paranoid." I whispered. I glanced over at Ana and Maia and they were whispering together, their body language was friendly, but not overly so. I frowned. I would just say they were best friends not lovers at all.

"Okay, let's go." She said and led me out of the oceanarium by the wrist like a child. This city has turned out to be a big stinky Durian. All I want to know now is, where is the food?

Later that night, Ana, Maia Tori and I were at a club eating some pretty great food. All appetizers because it was our last night. We didn't linger there because it was time to go to Yogyakarta

"Tomorrow we wake early, and head to Jogja." Ana said. "That used to be the capital of Indonesia."

"What are we going to see there?" I asked our private guide.

"You are going to tour the Temple District." Ana stated. " It's large and take most of your late afternoon, then we will go back to the Hotel."

"How long are we staying?" Tori asked.

"Three nights. We have a few events happening that I think you will like." Ana said. "Definitely some foodie destinations."

"Perfect."

Day 3: Yogyakarta

The next morning the four of us were on our way to the airport. Traffic was so awful that we left for the airport 4 hours before our flight was due to go. We got there in time to form a long line to get past security.

I placed an elbow on Ana's shoulder. "So Jogja… is that where Yoga comes from?"

She smirked at me. "I think it came here really early on." She answered. "Maybe I'll tell people that Yogyakarta was named after Yoga."

I laughed. She seemed to be in a better mood than the day before. Now that we knew not to be so obvious about being together, she seemed to relax a lot. Plus we'd be in Bali next week. We just have to make it to Bali.

The moment we got through, we hit the VIP room, the waiting area was crowded with so many American travelers, that we got started to see the pictures being taken. Tori sat next to me. A little sulky, because she wants to experience this thing that she booked freely. Now she just wants to get to Bali. "What else is interesting in Yogyakarta?" She asked.

"Well," She starts sitting next to Maia. She brings her arm around the back of the chair, effectively letting her arm wrap around her girl "friend". I looked around the room and leaned into Tori just to get a little closer and gauge our guide's comfort level. "Jogja is a city known for its traditional arts and cultural heritage. Its ornate 18th-century royal complex, which encompasses the still-inhabited Sultan's Palace."

"You mean Indonesia has a royal family?" Tori asked

Maia giggles. "NO, there are sultans and princesses. They used to govern, but now they are just land owners."

"Do they do the whole, holding court and all of that shit in their delusion?" I asked, sitting forward and placing my elbows on my knees.

Ana nodded. "It's cute."

"It's not…" I stated. "That's why you have to live in hiding, that whole Islamic tradition they bring."

"Babe…" Tori stated.

"No… if they really weren't paying attention to what the Sharia said, the Waria and all of us gays would be fine to walk around without being afraid something was going to happen to us."

"And you get to leave." Maia said.

"That's right I do, and thank god I do." I stated and Ana's head tilted.

"That's our flight." She stated, and the four of us stood to go to the airplane.

In the car, as we traveled through Yogyakarta toward the temple district, Ana chattered on about the most popular tourist spots in Indonesia. Especially because of the palace. I looked out of the window watching the city buildings and suburbs fade out. IT took all of 40 minutes to ride out to Borobudur. The temple was visible as we approached.

It was huge. And really familiar. "Where have I seen this before?' I asked my wife.

Tori shrugged. "The jungle book?" She tilted her head trying to get a different angle. I did too. The structure was wrapped around a hill. It consists of six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with thousands of relief panels and hundreds of Buddha statues. All posed differently.

We walked through admiring the reliefs carved in the wall. "These are so beautiful," Tori said and took a picture of me looking at one. I turned to face her and saw her phone out. I smiled and she took another picture. "Damn, you're a beautiful babe."

I smiled and winked. I wanted to kiss her. I settled for winking. "We are not going out tonight." I stated and we continued to move along the temple.

Tori giggled. "We just have to be super quiet."

"Tell yourself that." I stated and Ana walked between us.

"Let's get to the main Dome." She said shrilly and we followed. "The main dome is at the center of the top platform."

I looked over, and there was this one massive dome at the center. It is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupas. The whole monument is constructed from dark gray andesite stone. We climbed the structure, it took some effort, because the stone is hot and absorbs all this heat as we climbed, like walking on asphalt in the desert.

I paused and took one long draw out of my bottle of water. "It's breathtaking." Tori said then turned to our guides. " What's the story here? Why was it built?"

"Well it's obviously Buddhist." Ana started, "But there is no definite written record of who built Borobudur or why it was built."

"So like the Buddha's have just always been there." I asked/

"Yes, it was built around the 8th century at the peak of the Sailendra dynasty." Ana said doing her job. "It is believed that the construction took about 75 years, and was completed around 825 CE."

I was fascinated, I was a bit out of it. The last two nights Tori and I had been too tired to spend married time together. I was seriously missing the affection I was used to. And I really didn't care and wanted to get to my room. I practically ran through once I got to the top and looked at each relief really quickly.

I looked back and the three women were walking toward me more leisurely. Tori hung on Ana and Maia's words as they took turns telling the story of the temple. "Borobudur had been abandoned and hidden for centuries under layers of volcanic ash and thick jungle growth."

"Why?" Tori asked as they finally reached me.

"Nobody knows why it was abandoned," Maia answered.

"although a popular theory is that the mass conversions to Islam in the 15th century left it desolate." Ana continued.

"Sounds unlikely," I stated looking around at the beautiful temple. Too much work went into this for people to just abandon it.

"Another theory is that they were simply driven away by a large volcanic eruption." Maia said, rolling her eyes at her girlfriend. "I don't think It was ever truly forgotten though, There is so much folklore surrounding the temple."

That sounded more likely to me. Later on our way back to our hotel, we stopped at a few temples which were thought to be way stations on the way to Borobudur. Candi Mendut, which was a halfway point. Candi Pawon, a mile or so from the main monument. Candi Ngawen, which is actually in Ngawen village on the main road to Yogyakarta. Finally Candi Canggal at Gunung Wukir. This has the Chinese cemetery.

Before the sun set we drove past Prambanan. I was struck breathless. This was an impressive collection of Hindu temples. I stopped and stared. "I fucking love your awed expressions." I heard to my right.

I turned to my wife, who had the camera pointed at me. "What?"

"You don't impress easily. You weren't even struck dumb when you went to the Met Gala." She said, putting her hands down.

'Well look at it Tori." I said. "They are beautiful."

"Yes, they are beautiful. But you make them even more beautiful to me." She whispered, bumping my shoulder with hers.

I smiled and I really wanted to hold her hand. Instead I looked at Ana and Maia. She was standing behind her, leaning her arms on her girlfriend's shoulder and placing her chin on her arms as she looked at the temple ahead. Her hips were tilted as far away from her girlfriend as possible, making sure no one thought that her privates would be willing to touch the other woman. And this might be any two friends just staring at something beautiful, except I saw the inhalation she took. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to go somewhere in her mind.

I bit my lip knowing I had witnessed something that only she and maybe Maia should have seen. But I did see it. Subtly was the game here. Then Ana tapped her forehead to the shoulder beneath her, and was that a kiss. Yes it was. Then she turned to us and cleared her throat. She caught my eye and blushed a little. "The first temple was first built here around 850 CE by Rakai Pikatan then the rest of them were expanded later. King Lokapala and Balitung Maha Sambu the Sanjaya king of the Mataram Kingdom were responsible for the rest."

"But then Prambanan temple was largely abandoned after the Mataram dynasty moved its court base to East Java." Maia stated.

"Tonight is a full moon, It is almost night. We can go to the open air theater." Ana stated leading us toward the car again. Sun set was fast approaching, and it was time to leave anyway.

"Theater?" I was interested in this.

"Yes, An open-air theater inside the park, just west of here. Right across the Opak river, there is a company that does ballet Javanese dance performances of the great Hindu epic Ramayana every full moon night between May and October." Anna stated.

Tori smiled, "Sounds great. It won't be out too late right?"

Maia and Ana smiled "Late enough. Tomorrow will be a little more leisurely in Yogyakarta."

We got to our room at around Ten that night. I think because the moment we walked in and closed the door, the two of us fell onto our bed. It was frantic and hot and all of that pent up energy from keeping this to ourselves all day exploded and we came fast.

We panted next to each other after the first round, and I started to laugh. My wife turned her head toward me and chuckled. "That was nice." She said,

"Very," I said softly, trying to catch my breath. I looked around the room. IT was two full beds, well that was consistent. I turned to face my wife, and placed my palm on her bare chest. Her breath began to speed up, as I wound my hand around one of her perfect little globes. I played with that nipple as I bent down and took the other in my mouth. "I think… The restraint was good for us."

She laughed and brought her hands to the side of my head. She ran her fingers through my long black hair, and she pulled me up to meet her lips. "I just want to kiss you." She whispered between pecks then finally she pulled me as close to her body as possible.

I moaned as my core Hit hers. Her moisture from our previous round wetting my hipbone I bucked forward, and she opened herself up to me. Her wetness hit my erect clit and I lost my mind. Fuck I love scissoring. So I sat up and swung my leg over hers and began to ride, grinding my hot slick opening with hers.

I kept pace as her hands roamed up my thighs and pinched at my nipples. And we tried, we really did try to keep silent. As I was spurred on by her reaction and her touch. I came violently on her, in her , around her. I shook as I collapsed atop her. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed me softly on the side of my face. I knew she hadn't come yet, and I felt awful, so I inserted a finger tentatively in her slit. She moaned and changed her position to allow me to do whatever I wanted.

She untangled her arms from me and I moved to kiss down her body. I inserted a second finger and I began to pump in and out of her in earnest. She moaned low as she tangled her fingers in my hair. She tugged gently. Not too frantically. Then I licked her right hip bone and she reacted. Her hip canting forward and her hands pushing me down gently.

I smiled into the skin of her abdomen and continued nipping and licking at her abdomen and thighs. She opened up wide and I settled in between her legs. With one long languid lick through her slick folds, Tori had let down some of her fluids. Her hips were trying to still know that my face was there but she couldn't control it. I stopped her movement by wrapping my arm around her leg, and I continued to work my fingers inside her as I darted my tongue over her erect clit. I took the tumescent nub in my mouth and suckled and my girl was undone.

Her insides convulsed and clamped around my fingers. The explosion of flavor on my lips in my tongue. "Fuck you taste good,." I stated lapping her up

"Shit, Jade…" She said once she was calm and I kept going. "Oh fuck, I'm gonna go again."

I smirked and redoubled my efforts. Lick, flick, suck; lick, flick, suck. Over and over again and on one particularly intense suck, I tasted her again. I let go and she wouldn't stop. She just kept going. So I removed my fingers from inside her and just licked her clean.

Before I was done, she pulled me up to her and kissed me. She tangled our legs together and we fell asleep like this.

Day 4: and 5 in Yogyakarta

The next two days in the city, went much the same. We ate street food visited a castle or another then we go to the hotel. and fall into bed and make love all night. The energy that it took to keep our hands to ourselves all day released the moment our doors closed.

There was nothing I really cared much about except maybe the dance Show we took in. The food was amazing. The whole castle visit was kind of a Tori thing. She loved it.

We took a social media interlude at the Menoreh Sky bridge. This place was in Kulon Progo Regency area of Yogyakarta. It was a huge rice field and there was a bridge made of wood that went out over the rise field.

It was so beautiful. The sky bridge rippled around a wooden structure that branched out through it, and had different seating areas set up for perfect Instagram shots. So that was what we did. We filled our phones with pictures of us in these different seating areas.

My favorite was one with Tori standing in a white cage. She looked out to the rice field in a real dramatic pose. This is when I remember I married a supermodel. All of the shots were something she could sell. Another one was one with the two of us in a teardrop shaped cage seat. It was a suggestive pose, but we wouldn't be posting any of these til we were back in the states. So Maia took My phone and took a few pictures of us. I looked at my wife. "These are seriously illegal here aren't they?" I murmured in her ear, and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

She smiled at me. "They are pictures, this is part of our Job." She said softly. "Art is different."

Ana turned to face us and blanched.. I untangled us and pulled tori off the seat. "I can't wait to go to the beach retreat."

"Oh yeah, shots of you in a bikini…. Definitely." Tori stated.

I chuckled and let go of her hand and walked back toward the end of the Sky bridge. That night The four of us headed to a Karaoke Bar. Tori and I were so excited. Seeing as this is actually something we both enjoyed. The patrons in the bar were American, and Tori was recognized and they kept requesting for her to go up. One of those times they picked a song for her that we usually sang together and she pulled me up on stage. And when I was finally recognized is when this dawned on me. I'm famous. Though for right now I think it was because of who I married rather than what I could do. I decided I needed to do a lot of solo things once I was back in the states.

Day 6-9: Pulau Menyawakan

The leisure portion of our trip had arrived the next morning, the four of us got on the road to Semarang to catch a flight to Kura Kura Resort Island.. The island was beautiful, the water completely clear and unspoiled.

We were on a cabin over the water, The room was luxurious and we went into our room to change for swimsuits, we ended up in bed all afternoon, we didn't come out til sunset. Tori took pictures of it as I looked out over the water. "You haven't checked your phone for medical texts all day…" Tori noted.

I looked at her surprised. "You're right." Then I leaned over the banister, "It's gorgeous here…"

"And private." She murmured coming up behind me. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed my shoulder. Then she kissed my neck and finally I turned around and kissed her. We were outside, and just felt free to do what came naturally to us.

We were in the Kura Kura resort for four beautiful days. We went snorkeling, Jet Skiing, parasailing between rounds of love making. We explored the island and found lagoons where just the two of us disappeared for hours just to do as we pleased.

We didn't see Maia or Ana the whole time we were there.

Day 10: Semarang

In the middle of our second week, we left paradise and went back to a city. Semarang, they call it the Venice of Java. There were Waria walking around here. I felt a little more free to just pal around with Tori. It was like we rediscovered a friendship. And we connected over the sights.

"Hey wait, Guys." I said passing a street vendor. "I want some Lumpia."

Ana and Maia stopped and turned to face me. Tori came to me as I purchased a few deep fried spring rolls. They were filled with bamboo shoots, carrots, sprouts, and shrimp. I bit into the deep fried roll and moaned at the taste within.

"You should dip it in the sauce." Ana said

I did, and monad again. Tori blushed prettily and looked away from me as she tried hers. "Shit, you have ruined me for any other lumpia."

"I know right?" I said, shaking my head and eating again. " There is no way I am eating this again in the States. Bae we are gonna need a private plane."

Tori laughed at that. It wasn't the first time I had said that on the trip. Namely any time I tried some food or another. "Okay Jade, your birthday is coming up."

I smirked. As we toured the city, we visited Blenduk Church, Brown Canyon, Lawang Sewu, Sam Poo Kong Temple Complex, that night before turning in we went to Semawis Night Market where we had some more lumpia. Just then I realized why Ana and Maia had felt a little freer here in Semarang. There was pork in these dishes. Pork in a Muslim country…

Huh…

Day 11 - 13: Semarang, Surabaya and Mt. Bromo.

We spent some more time touring Semarang the next Rikshaw. Ana and Maia were still passed out in their rooms and Tori and I decided that we could venture out a bit. I hated not having our guide, though most people spoke English here, I felt unprotected by the power of being around in a group. There was scrutiny by people who knew who Tori and I were. There were surreptitious glances toward us and I was seriously uncomfortable.

"I'm never doing this alone again." I said to Tori.

"Definitely." Tori said and we dismounted the rickshaw. A thoroughly pissed Ana and a smirking Maia strolled out of the hotel.

"Are you insane?"

"I thought because there is less Muslim here, that we were cool." I said with a shrug.

"Yes, but I am responsible for the two of you." She stated angrily. "We are off schedule, we have to catch our train to Surabaya in thirty minutes."

Tori and I nodded and dashed into our room to grab all of the bags and head back to meet the Car and the girls.

When we got to Surabaya, Maia looked pointedly at me. "We are going to eat at Majapahit."

I raised a brow. "What kind of food?"

"Chinese. Highly recommended." She said,

I nodded and followed the women to our car.

As we drove through Surabaya, I noted this was a port city. It is a vibrant, sprawling metropolis, it mixes modern skyscrapers with canals and buildings from its Dutch colonial era. We passed an Arab quarter. There was this huge Mosque in the middle. "Whoa." I said it was beautiful.

"That is the Ampel Mosque, it dates back to the 15th century." Ana stated ever the tour guide. And on the other side you will see the Tugu Pahlawan monument. It honors the independence battles waged here in the city."

Tori looked around. "is that …" I looked to where she was looking and the car turned in that direction. It was a thriving Chinatown

"There are Chinatowns everywhere." I said as we continued to a hotel. The Majapahit Hotel was the most famous hotel in the area. And this was where we were staying. And eating. parked and pulled up to the restaurant. The food was excellent. I don't think it could be any better unless I went to China.

Sura baya was a typical city in the world. With lots of fun things to do. We only spent a half of a day there, went to G-walk that night to eat, then we took the midnight tour of Mount Bromo. It is an active volcano in East Java. Bromo is always steaming and billowing above its national park.

The bus ride was long and we got to the top of Bromo around 5 in the morning. Tori and I settled ourselves together near the crater. I felt the heat radiating from the depths of the earth and I realized that this could go off, and I would die here happy with my wife at my side.

Slowly the light of the sun started to peek from beyond the mountain. And the most spectacular sunrise I had ever seen since I have been here appeared. The sleepless night was worth everything.

The ride back to the resort was full of chatter of the views. We looked at all of the photos of the magenta sky and I found myself reflecting on the beauty that was the earth we live in. "Tor, I didn't ever think I could feel more connected to myself in nature." I said.

She looked at me. "You hate nature."

"I don't know if that's true anymore." I stated. She smiled and squeezed my hand. Finally we were back to our Hotel room to sleep the long night away. Just holding each other.

The next morning we trekked up Mount Ijen and visited the sulfur lakes. The smell was interesting for sure.. We came back down Mount Ijen and visited a local village. We got to our Villa exhausted.

This was the part of the trip I was dreading the most, and it had been the most calming and transformative for my psyche. I was feeling connected to the world in a very different and spiritual way. For the first time I started to believe that my life was made of dreams. I decided that I would live it the best.

Once I settled on our bed, I pulled out my phone and Face timed Trina. "Hey Chloe, Mommy is calling." Trina said as she answered the phone.

I smiled brightly as my little girl's face filled the phone. "Hi mommy!"

"Hey there baby," I said I missed her so much and I had three more days left of this trip. "How are you?"

"I'm good, but Lyssa is at school and it's just me and Tia right now."

"I know, baby girl." I said as Tori Joined me on the bed.

"When are you and Mama coming home?" She asked.

"Four more sleeps Chloe." Tori said. "And we got you some goodies."

"Yay, mama, Tia took me to your old school and she showed me your picture."

"Your picture is still there for tech theater for highest grade." Trina stated.

I laughed at my nerd. "Still?" Tori said.

"It's probably because you're famous."

"They need to take that down." She said then turned her attention to our daughter. "Are you having fun?"

Chloe nodded. "Cept I don't go to school and I want to."

"You will, as soon as you turn five." I said.

"How many days is that?" She asked.

"It's so many sleeps!" I said. "But don't worry I will tell you."

Chloe pouted, "That's not fair."

I quirked a brow. "I'll remind you of that when you are fighting me to wake up in the morning."

"Well we're going to go to the play ground, and then we are going to see Abuela y abuelo, and then it will be time to pick up Alyssa."

"That sounds like a fund day." Tori said.

"What are you going to do?" The little girl asked.

"It's night time here, Mama and I are going to sleep."

"Oh.. Okay. Good night Mommy and Mama."

"Good night baby." I stated Tori said her goodbyes. "I can't wait to get to Bali and get us back home."

"This has been fun no?" Tori said.

"Yeah, I just miss our girl… and my bed."

She giggled and we just held each other and headed straight to sleep.

Day 15: Kerambitan

We descended into Bali the next day. Kerambitan a Village in the ever free Bali. I held hands with my wife the whole time I was there. Ana and Maia said that Kerambitan was the place to experience the true feel of Balinese culture and not be in a deep throng of visitor. Which was ideal for our level of celebrity.

We walked the Markets hand in hand, stealing kisses and hugs along the way. We got a hold of some souvenirs for our people back home. Lots of fun shopping.

We stopped by the Terraced rice fields and then went down to the black sands of Kelating Beach. The two of us lost ourselves in the waves and just kind of were free to be together. Which meant we made out like teenagers because we could.

"Mommy!" was the first thing I heard when I got to Trina's house the morning we landed in LA.

I dropped down to my knees and opened my arms to catch the barreling body. "Hi baby." she reached for Tori and held on to her, and I turned to Trina who was smiling in the sidelines.

"Welcome home ladies." she said.

I looked at her. Really looked at her and furrowed my brows. "Treen you okay?"

Tori, alerted by my question, looked at her sister. "Are you sick?"

Trina looked pale and a little tired. "I've been sick a little bit this morning, no big deal."

"Are you pregnant?" I asked bluntly.

Trina blushed and nodded. Tori Shrieked and ran to her sister. I smiled and nodded. "Congratulations."

"But don't worry, I'm not going to drop anything I can still work."

"I know you can… I wanted to talk to you about that too. Meeting on Monday?" I answered.

"Before Rounds or after?" She asked.

"Before," I said. "Baby why don't you say bye to Alyssa and grab your things so we can let Aunt Trina rest?"

Tori looked at me after that exchange then looked at her sister and shrugged. I gave her the we will talk about later, look. Then the three of us left to head back to our house.
