Chapter 4: Sticks, stones and broken bones.
Nya's POV
"What the hell happened? Is he gonna be ok?"
"Nya calm down-" Jay holds my hand.
"Just tell me he's gonna be ok!"
"He's going to be fine Nya." Master Wu says.
"Oh thank goodness." I finally breath.
"He was hit by some sort of blast-"
"It was you wasnt it?" Shouts Cole, pointing at Garmadon.
"How dare you! I would never hurt your friend!"
"You've hurt us before!"
"It's been nearly 7 years!"
"Garmadon could not be the attacker." Says Zane calmly. "It couldn't be anyone here actually. Expect Jay, but I have footage of him."
"What about the cameras in Kai's room?"
"They were cut. All we know is it had to be a planned out attack, seeing that only Kai's cameras were out."
Jay states at the floor.
"I owe you an apology then."
"…I wouldn't trust me either. Though I do accept your apology."
"Right!" I say. "Let's get everything loaded into the bounty shall we? We can't loss anymore time." After everything is loaded, Master Wu and PIXAL have a talk.
"PIXAL will stay here with Dareth, they'll make sure Ninjago won't be in any danger." Skylor gives Master Wu a look.
"I can call some of the other elemental masters if you like, I'm sure they'd be willing to help."
"Their assistance will be appreciated. Thank you Skylor."
"No problem! I'll inform them about Lloyd as well. He did save their lives after all."
PIXAL nods and gets the tea pot and cup.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes. Let's go get Lloyd." Misako says.
PIXAL uses the Traveler's tea and makes a huge portal for us to go through.
"We're coming Lloyd, just you wait."
Skylor's POV
I don't know why I came. I knew they had it covered. Maybe I needed a break from my job and the bills or maybe I just needed a breath of fresh air. Sure, Lloyd was a friend but I never super close to him. I guess I also needed to check on Kai, he was bad shape. His right arm was twisted and broken and his Skull was fractured. Whoever did this was going to pay, I was sure of that. Kai had already gone through enough, and I'm sure he has some sort of mental issue. He lies, I've seen inside his head. I've seen what he saw that night. It repeats in his brain constantly. I close my eyes and wait for us to arrive at the Echo Realm.
Kai's POV
I open my eyes to find myself in the bounty, my arm is tied around my chest and my head is beating like a drum. The room around me is spinning. A blue shape walks into the room and stares at me.
"Nya! Kai's awake!" It screams. I look at it in confusion.
"Kai? Do you remember me? My name is Jay? Misako said that you might not remember some stuff."
"Jay? What happened…"
"You were attacked by someone in the monastery as you were packing. We're going to find Lloyd in the Echo Realm, also known as DragonEcho." It all comes back to me in a blurry picture.
"I was fighting someone, they were in the roof and then they came back when I looking in the mirror. I only saw them at the last second, then they started attacking me."
"Why didn't you call for help?" Says Nya beside me.
"I didn't think I needed to but then…" I look around in a haze. "Where are we?"
"We're on the bounty."
"R-right. Ok. Um….they had this weird blade thing. It was some sort of vengestone, but… purple."
"Violet Ragestone." Whispers Master Wu.
"What?"
"Violet Ragestone is a rare purple variant of vengestone. It can both disable Elemental powers and any other types of magic."
"Sounds like powerful stuff."
"It's very rare. My father said he had only come into contact with it once in his life, and even then he struggled to defeat the user. Ragestone shouldn't even be found anymore. My father destroyed the last of it, or at least he said he did."
"Well, clearly your father was wrong." I mumble.
"Ragestone is different to vengestone, it can be controlled by the user. Whoever took Kai out clearly knew he was an elemental master."
"Wait, why did they take Kai out?"
"I checked Kai's room after I found him, everything was there."
"Well that's a big help."
"…let's focus on that later. We came here to find Lloyd remember? We need to find him and then get back to the monastery."
