Chapter 23: Oh Lloyd…

Garmadon flung Kimyona over his shoulder, turning back to the door. Seaworthy opened the door with two new pirates, his face pulling into a scowl.
"Listen here. I don't care who I have to go through, but I'm not letting you escape with that thief."
"The jewels weren't even yours in the first place Shitworthy! Don't be an ass and keep your head down." Kimyona hissed.
"Get them!" Seaworthy yells, pointing to them. The first Aquarian who's a bright scarlet runs forward and attempts to run and grab Cole before being blocked by a kick from Garmadon. The second Aquarian that's a dark olive green swings a punch at Garmadon who narrowly misses by stepping backward and bumping into the table. The scarlet Aquarian gets up and yoinks Jay by the back of his shirt and throws him into Garmadon and the three (including Kimyona,) smash into the table.
Zane pulls up his fists to block the blow that Seaworthy tries, ducking left and right to avoid his hits. Zane returns very few of his own, and they continue to do this until they've done a lap around the room, somehow not hit from the other fighters.
Cole quickly spins into motion and uses his spinjitzu to knock the olive green Aquarian into a wall, that quickly starts spouting water rapidly. Seaworthy let out a scream of disgust and stumbled backwards. Ignoring Zane completely, allowing him to sprint to the others.
Garmadon used this opportunity and threw Jay over his shoulder with Kimyona, turning to Cole who nodded and punched the scarlet Aquarian in the gut. He hissed in pain, trying to knock Cole over the head with a broken table leg. Cole ducked and kicked the Aquarian in the shins, causing him to fall over.
Cole, Zane and Garmadon ran past Seaworthy and raced onto the top deck.
"You imbeciles! Don't you understand what you've cost me!?" Seaworthy screamed from below.
"He's gonna come back!" Jay called out from behind Garmadon's shoulder. Garmadon leaped off the deck, stopping briefly to wait for the other two before the group ran into the forest pushing past the crowd who yelled at them. The Master of Earth ignored them and ran under his feet were sore and they were back at camp. Garmadon skidded to a stop before putting down Jay and Kimyona.
"Alright fish lady, spill the tea." Cole walked over to Kimyona. "How do you know Lloyd?"
"He's my boss. He hired me to find you." Kimyona yawned, bored. "As soon as he found out that you guys were here, he set me with the mission of finding you lot. Though, by my record there's supposed to be more of you, isn't there?"
"Yes there is." Garmadon confirmed. "How did he know that we were here?"
"You can ask him yourself when you see him, but seriously where are the rest of your school?"
"…like a school of fish?" Jay half murmured to himself. "They're out looking for him. Most of them anyway."
"You better hope they aren't too far, because I need to take you to him immediately."
"And how do we know this isn't a trap?" Garmadon snarled.
"You don't." Kimyona closed her eyes. "But even if you trust me or not, I have to take you to him."
"And why is that?" Cole asked.
"He saved my life and gave me a home. He gave me everything that I have to live for today. When nobody wanted me, he did. And he raised me from when I was just a little kid. He isn't my dad sure, but that doesn't mean I'm not in his debt. My Mother was going to get rid of me as soon as I was born, but it was the mighty Lloyd Garmadon that saved me with death. He convinced my mother that I was worth keeping, even if I looked different.
Then the we started and my mother had to go back to living out her duties as General. Lloyd raised me. Not my mother. He taught me everything I know, and since this is my first offical mission as his student, I need to get it right."
Garmadon sighed. "That does sound like my son. But listen here little Aquarian." He got up right close to her face. "If you're lying and that was all some made up story, you will be under my fist of consequence."
The Aquarian looked even more bored.
"Whatever scary man, just hurry up and untie me so I can take you to your son already."
Zane shook his head. "We must go back to the bounty and retrieve the others. It is crucial that they come with us."
"Arghh." Kimyona groaned. "Fine."

Cole reached out and grabbed Kimyona's hand, pulling her onto the Bounty. The ship shook with a sigh, the chain rattling slightly. Kimyona's bloodshot eyes looked from each of the ninja, studying their features. Jay walked over to the pair.
"Me and Garmadon have told the others. They should be here tomorrow at dawn." He told them.
A door swung out from the right as Kai wobbled over to the group. A short teen followed, her hair the colour of Cotten-candy.
"Hello everyone, this is Sora. Sora this is everyone." Kai spoke.
"Nice to meet you all." Sora waved.
"Guess I'm introducing myself then too?" Kimyona rolled her eyes. "Kimyona, student of Lloyd Garmadon."
"Lloyd has a student?!" Kai burst out. "That's awesome! Had he taught you Spinjitzu?"
"The hell is Spinjitzu? No he's taught me how to held a knife and what's the best place to stab someone etc, etc." Kimyona sassed.
"That's not the Lloyd that I know." Kai grimaced.
"DragonEcho is full of dangerous people and places, holding a knife and knowing some more violent moves must of been useful if not necessary." Zane chimes in.
"I hope you're right." Kai sighs.
Fsm, Lloyd, what have we left you to?
