Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I am back with another episode. But before that, I would like to let you know that after this, I'll be working on an Original Episode before M. Night Shaym-Aliens.
The details will be provided at the end of this episode.
I don't own anything! Everything belongs to their respective owners excluding my OCs.
(Marcus' POV)
It was Christmas Eve and almost everyone in the Smith Residence was in the living room and invested in their 21st Century Technology.
I, too, was investing my time on my laptop as I had some things to handle in the household. Just because I graduated doesn't mean I can't do some work here and there.
Speaking of work, what I'm doing is managing some finances and staff in UV-Sol-5. Just because I'm not there doesn't mean I'm not doing anything, as for what I earn. I converted it into multiple sources before sending it to my private bank account on Earth I asked Beth to make it for me.
Moments later, Jerry enters the room after he cooks his Christmas Meal, "Um, Merry Christmas, Hello? My parents are coming over for the first time in years. Can we stow away the gadgets and look alive?"
"Alive? For your parents?" Beth questioned since her in-laws are shown to be a bit older than Rick would ever be.
"Hm, good one," Jerry snorted, took Beth's tablet, and stuffed it inside a red stocking,
"Hey, man," Beth yelled in anger,
"You 'Hey Man!' This holiday is about humanity," Jerry countered before placing his closed hand on his chest,
"You know, I thought it was being born half-god or something," Morty nonchalantly remarked as he played his tablet,
"You're half-right there, Morty," I added as I focused on my work,
Jerry face palmed then presented a red sock sack, "Whatever, all electronics in the stocking now,"
"Ohhh..." Morty moaned as he put his tablet into the stocking,
"Dad, I am not giving you my phone," Summer said as she kept her phone away,
"Put the phone in the stocking, Summer, or I'm joining Facebook," Jerry advised snidely,
She gasps and drops her phone into the stocking. Then Jerry turns to me, and I don't bat an eye on him, "Join Facebook or every other kind of social media. I couldn't give a damn what you do after,"
"Marcus, Stocking, Now," Jerry said,
"Make me," I challenged,
Jerry sighed upon my denial, put the stocking on the floor, and grabbed my laptop from both sides.
Before he could pull, I'd grabbed his wrists and gave a death glare right into his eyes. Something only Beth would be recognized...
"Jerry, you shouldn't force him to do what you want. He's your nephew, not your son," Beth said, "Also, do you remember the time when Marcus once won several gold medals and trophies in the Mixed Martial Arts Tournaments?"
Jerry doesn't seem to recall, but Morty and Summer seem to recall that tale quite clearly...
"D-Didn't he send a few people to the hospital that time?" Morty asked to Summer,
"Yeah... he did," Summer agreed before shooting a smug look and crossed arms at Jerry when he previously glanced at Beth, Morty, and finally her,
Having heard all this, it jogged his mind especially when he recalled that he was there and saw just how terrifying I was. So he lets go of my laptop after I let go of his wrists.
"That's what I thought," I said and kept working,
Moments later, Jerry hears the door open and Rick's voice. Jerry goes to see him and asks who is with him. Rick explained that the person with him was some guy named Reuben and stated that he provided an annual medical exam with him.
Beth seemed touched while Jerex expressed suspiciousness on then his obvious confusion. Moments later, Rick took Reuben into the garage and saw a glimpse of him. From what I understand, Rick must have done something within Reuben's body.
Then the doorbell rings and Jerry gets excited as he turns to Beth, Summer, and Morty, "Okay, that's my parents! Now remember, no TV, no phones, no laptops. We are connecting this Christmas, like old-school Jews on a Saturday,"
"Most old-school Jews don't celebrate Christmas, Jerry. They commemorate the season with 'Hanukkah'," I corrected rather loudly in the living room,
"Don't ruin this for me, Marcus!" Jerry said before opening the door and greeting his parents for the holiday, "Hey! Hey!"
"Merry Christmas, son" Grandpa Leonard greeted as he and Grandma Joyce entered the house,
Before Jerry could close the door, he felt someone push it, and came an unexpected guest, "Uh, hi. Can I help you?"
"Jerry, this is Jacob," Grandma Joyce introduced, "Didn't you get our text message?"
"No!" Beth, Summer, and Morty replied together,
"I have," I admitted out loud from the living and it caused Beth, Summer, and Morty to peek at me, and I didn't bat an eye on them, "When Jerry said that his parents were coming, I checked and saw their text message. That's when I knew that they were bringing someone new to this Christmas Eve,"
"Nice to know you're well, Marcus," Grandpa Leonard said, and I remained silent to his comment,
What came after was Joyce explaining Jacob's presence for today's Christmas, "After your father's brush with cancer and losing your uncle, we looked at life and wondered how have we spent it? And how do we spend the rest of it? What are we going to be when we die? A list of fears and questions, or a collection of real experiences?"
"Holy crap, Joyce. That's amazing," Beth commended,
"Then Jacob came into our lives. We're learning to live again," Leonard finished,
"All three of us," Jacob added,
The moment I heard this sentence, I soon realized what they meant compared to Jerry and the rest of the family. Without hesitation, I closed my laptop and picked it up from the table, "I'm going to go to the garage and see what Rick is doing..."
I hastily left the living room while the others just watched me go. Though no one stopped me since I am my own person in this household...
The moment I set foot in the garage, I shut the door and placed my laptop on the laundry machine.
"What are you doing?" I asked,
"Just doing a medical examination on Reuben here," Rick replied as he focused on Reuben,
"Just what did you do to him anyway?" I questioned as I went to his side and looked over at Reuben, "And why do this in the garage?"
"Because it's important," Rick replied, then we soon noticed Reuben spasming out and his mouth foam,
Rick tried to hold him down as his vitals spiked, and I decided to go to the side of the table and hold Reuben down as well.
"What's going on with him?" I asked,
Rick would grab a stethoscope-like device, and place it somewhere in the lower abdomen. After some placements, he removed it from Reuben's chest and placed it on the table, "I'd better go and get Morty on this,"
"Rick, what is in Reuben's body?" I asked, and Rick stopped by the door,
He sighed once, then he turned to me, "Anatomy Park,"
"Anatomy Park? What the hell is that?" I inquired,
"Ever watch that movie with the dinosaurs, amusement parks, and crap?" Rick listed,
"Yes, what of it?" I inquired,
"Well, it's kinda like this except built inside of a human body," Rick summarized, "Right now, I picked up a distress signal inside of Reuben and I'm going to send Morty to check it out,"
"May I come with him?" I asked, "I'd like to see what this 'Anatomy Park' looks like, instead of believing what you've said just now,"
"Fine, he could use the company anyways," Rick said, grabbed some sort of backpack, and tossed it to my hands before going to get Morty,
While he does that, I've decided to wear this backpack he gave me, gear up with light weapons from Rick's arsenal, and continue to monitor Reuben's condition.
Moments later, Rick returns with Morty by his side.
"He's in bad shape, Morty," Rick explained, and checked Reuben's vitals again,
"Aw geez, Rick! What did you do?" Morty exclaimed,
"Gee, thanks, Morty. What kind of monster do you think I am? I-I'm sittin' here trying to save the guy's life! I need your help" Rick explained with a somewhat offended tone in his voice, gave Morty a spare backpack and an earpiece, "I want you and Marcus to find Dr, Xenos Bloom, he'll know what's going on,"
"Uh... W-W-Where do I find Dr. Bloom?" Morty asked while Rick handed me an oxygen mask,
"In Reuben," Rick said, and put a spare oxygen mask onto Morty's head,
"Reuben, Minne... Minnesota?" Morty inquired,
"Reuben on the table, Morty," Rick corrected, turned Morty around, and attached the tube to Morty's helmet. He would do the same to me, "Look, I-I-I *belches* I don't have time for you to wrap your little walnut around everything,"
Rick then brings in a machine, plugs it in, and places Morty on a round platform while I step onto it, "Now, just hold your breath until the process is over or your lungs will collapse,"
"What proc..." Before Morty could finish that sentence, Rick activates the machine with some nudges on the levers,
Morty screams while I hold my breath as Rick shrinks us down to microscopic sizes. We'd find ourselves in a small container and Rick picks it up, applies it inside a large empty syringe, and strikes it into Reuben's chest.
Then Beth came into the garage, "Dad, Where's Morty and Marcus?"
"They're busy," Rick replied before injecting the fluids into Reuben,
We were falling and Morty was the only one screaming on the way down. As we reached the ground, I landed tactically while Morty landed on his back.
"Morty, Marcus. Can you two hear me? Head north" Rick instructed,
"Rick, where are we?" Morty asked,
"Depending on my aim, you two should be just south of the entrance," Rick said,
"Entrance to what, exactly?" I inquired as I helped Morty on his feet and we walked in the direction, Rick instructed,
"Welcome, you two... Welcome," Rick dramatically stated, then Morty and I expressed some level of surprise by what was before our very eyes, "To Anatomy Park! It's a little business venture I've been cookin' up on the side with Dr. Bloom. An amusement park inside a human body. Science isn't cheap, you two. This should help put a dent in the overhead."
"This is... quite unprecedented of you, Rick," I remarked, "I never would have thought that you'd do something like this,"
"And look at all these rides," Morty expressed, "Spleen Mountain? Bladder Falls? Pirates of the Pancreas?"
"You got a problem with that last one, Morty?" Rick questioned rather defensively, while I just raised an eyebrow at what the ride was called,
"Huh? No, no, I'm just reading them out loud in the order I'm seeing them," Morty said,
"Okay, alright, if I sounded a little defensive, it's because Pirates of the Pancreas was my baby" Rick explained, "I-I got a lot of push-back when I pitched it, Morty. I guess I'm still a little defensive. Let's just find Dr. Bloom, alright? I-I'm picking up a distress signal in the liver, you two. Proceed to the liver"
The direction states that the liver attraction is called 'Haunted Liver'. Based on how Reuben looked when he got here, he may have been an alcoholic at the time of his youth.
As soon as we entered the train that leads to the lower Abdomen, I decided to sit down and converse with Rick,
"You know, Rick. If you had told me of this place. I would have helped you with all kinds of financial backing, resources and materials, and advertisements. I may as well offer you the whole package if it keeps this place running," I explained,
"Unless you could provide a substantial amount of dough, which comes with *belches* a lot of zeroes, I may consider letting you in on this side-project of mine," Rick explained, "And since you don't have a job, I doubt you'd be able to help at all,"
As he explained this, I was typing on my watch and sent it to Rick's computer...
(3rd POV)
As Rick awaited Morty and Marcus' arrival at Reuben's Liver, he heard his cellphone receiving a notification. He pulls it out, and then he expresses a stunned look on his face as what was sent to him was Marcus' Private Account and the total amount of money was unlike anything this family could provide.
He even rubbed his eyes a few times to see if what he was seeing was true. Then he accepted it without question...
(Marcus' POV)
I waited for Rick to say something, then he did when I heard his voice, "Alright, you convinced me. But after we get Dr. Bloom out, then we'll discuss the details of what you're offering,"
"Done," I replied,
"Arriving at Liver," The train announcer said,
As soon as the train stops, Morty tips forward. But I grabbed him and the arm of my chair to keep him from hitting his head against the train doors,
"Mind the gap," The train announcer advised and the doors to our right were open,
The moment we set foot into the liver, we were greeted with a dark and ominous atmosphere. Something that frightens Morty as he stuck close to me, "It's really scary in here, Rick,"
"Liver's under maintenance. Reuben's seen some rough years, Morty. Don't judge, you don't agree to have a theme park built inside of you if your life's going great," Rick explained,
We soon stood before the Haunted Liver attraction and I pulled out a flashlight that I packed beforehand and passed it to Morty, "Here, use this,"
Morty takes the flashlight and we make our way inside the attraction. I had a rifle (Alien Version of FN2000) attached with a laser attachment and kept my guard up in case we ran into trouble.
As we walked further inside, we suddenly got ourselves jumpscared by something that popped from behind and it caused Morty to scream. As for me, I aimed my rifle and kept my finger on the trigger.
"Rick, it's a monster!" Morty exclaimed and took several steps back,
"No, no, no, Morty. The only monster here is also *belches* holism..." Rick assured, "That is an animatronic werewolf,"
I sighed with relief, then I heard a man's grunt and quickly turned around to see Morty getting grabbed by the neck by some large muscular guy, "Who are you?! Answer me! Where'd you come from?!"
"Drop him! Before I drop you," I warned and aimed my rifle at Poncho's forehead should he fail to comply,
"Mmm! M-M-My-my-my Grandpa Rick sent us!" Morty frantically replied,
"Poncho! That's quite enough," A living Amoeba ordered,
As soon as Poncho dropped Morty, I put the rifle on my back, helped Morty up on his feet, and listened to a welcoming party, "Morty, Marcus. That's Poncho, This is Roger and Annie,"
Morty lets out a gasp and sheepishly while I roll my eyes since his hormones are acting up again.
"And I am Dr. Xenon Bloom," Dr. Bloom introduced himself,
"Hey Bloom, it's Rick. What the hell's goin' on here?" Rick asked through the speaker apparatus,
"I don't know why, but the entire security system has shut down. And I'm afraid the exhibits are unlocked," Dr. Bloom explained,
"Exhibits?" Morty and I repeated,
"Anatomy Park's greatest attraction, young man, isn't the music or the food or the... Pirates of the Pancreas," Dr Bloom explained,
"Watch it," Rick warned as the speaker apparatus briefly popped out of Morty's helmet,
"It is first and foremost a living museum of humanity's most noble and ferocious diseases,"
"Diseases?!" Morty exclaimed, then we all heard a distant roar approaching,
"Hey Doc, I have news for ya," Poncho said as he brought his rifle out, and out came one of the diseases that were left lost in the living museum, "Your living museum is officially a wild safari!"
Poncho and I went side by side and started shooting at this monster before us.
"Hepatitis A! Run!" Roger yelled and we all started running,
Poncho and I kept running and shooting while the rest were faster than us two.
Poncho and I still kept firing at Hepatitis A while the others went through a door. That was our cue to join up with them, "Hepatitis won't follow us into the respiratory system,"
As Roger closed the door, Hepatitis A punched the door to make a large dent but not enough to break through the steel door. We then ran our way to the doors of another attraction 'Alveoli Forest' and Roger examined the air pressure gauge, "That's strange, Airflow is down 20%,"
"So the brain isn't getting enough oxygen. That's why security's offline," Dr Bloom figured out,
"Well, I guess we better check it out," Morty suggested and everyone agreed as Roger opened the door,
As we stepped inside the 'Alveoli Forest', Roger was about to shut the door close. But that's when an employee wearing a dog suit came in, "Hey! Wait for me!"
The employee removes his dog head, but that's when Dr Bloom becomes a bit aggressive, "Put that back on!"
The former glared at him before wearing the dog head again.
"What's with the mascot?" I inquired,
"It was Dr. Bloom's idea, don't ask why," Roger said, then everyone looked at the railing above them, "If we got up to the Bronchial Catwalk, we could look for a blockage,"
"I'll go," Morty volunteered, proceeded to jump onto a large alveoli and cling to it,
"Don't be a hero, kid," Poncho advised,
"I'm not. I'm doin' it because it's fun," Morty said as he hopped from alveoli to alveoli,
"We shouldn't be here, "Poncho advised while cocking his rifle,
"Whatever you do, do not fire that thing here. We must save Reuben. This is my life's work," Dr. Bloom said,
Then we heard Annie letting out a startled gasp and recoil at some bacteria sealed inside some scar tissue.
"It's alright, my dear. Nearly all human lungs contain a strain of this bacteria, but the scar tissue keeps them..." Dr Bloom trails off as he notices some sacks open, "Dormant..."
I knew what this meant, both Dr. Bloom and I had the same thought in mind, "Morty! Get down!"
Just as Morty reached the Bronchial Catwalk, he was soon greeted with several ferocious bacteria and it caused him to panic and let go of the hand railing. He would grunt as he bounced his way down from the fronds and I would catch him before taking him back to the others, "Oh, what are those things?!"
"Tuberculosis... coming in fast!" Dr. Bloom yelled,
"Not faster than a bullet!" Poncho yelled and began shooting down the bacteria. It also destroyed some of the alveoli in the process
"No! Do you know what you've done!" Dr. Bloom yelled as he held on to Poncho's arm to stop,
Without warning, we were lifted from the catwalk and then dropped down as soon as it stopped.
"Get to the digestive tract, he's coughing!" Dr. Bloom hastily said, and we'd make a run for it
As Reuben coughed some more, the Dog-suited employee was being pulled into the air. Morty sees him and rushes back to grab him while holding onto a small alveoli.
I, on the other hand, went to Morty, grabbed him by the back of his shirt, and kept him from being sucked in by Reuben's coughing.
"Don't let me die!" The employee begged,
"You're not gonna die! What's your name," Morty said and grabbed his hand,
"My name is..." Before he could finish, his hand slips out of Morty and soars right up the tube,
With him gone, I pulled Morty back with the rest of the group and we soon escaped the respiratory system.
"Rick! Reuben's got tuberculosis!" Morty reported through the speaker,
"Oh, great work, Morty. I'll just cure it, and then-" Rick was about to finish that sentence, but he quickly paused afterward,
"Rick? What's going on?" I asked,
"Okay. Well, I can't cure death," Rick nonchalantly said, "This is bad, You two. You're trapped in a dead man. Listen, if the situation keeps darkening, do yourself a favor and hop by Pirates of the Pancreas,"
Rick then goes on about being biased in his personal ride, they don't whitewash it and it makes the pirates there really rapey. Though Rick mentions that the top priority is getting all of us out of here, he just said we'd better treat ourselves if it becomes impossible.
Everyone looked rather glum at Rick's statement, and what comes next is my remark towards the idea, "How fucking helpful, Rick,"
"W-Whatever," Rick responded,
We soon found our way in the food court of the digestive tract and everyone seemed to notice an awful smell in the air.
"Geez, what's that horrible smell?" Morty questioned,
"You mean the Panda Express?" Dr Bloom chuckled at his own joke, " Kidding, I-I'm kidding. The body is beginning to constrict and fill with gas. We're inside a corpse, my boy. Anatomy Park is doomed,"
"Forget the park, Doc! Just tell us how we're going to get out of here!" I yelled,
"The digestive tract is the evacuation route. Get it?" Dr Bloom explained, and the last part caused me to cringe a little, "There's an emergency station in the colon with a ray that can enlarge us all,"
"Everybody! Get to the colon!" Morty ordered,
"Now I'm takin' orders from a twelve-year-old boy?!" Poncho rebuked, but everyone ignored him,
In the meantime, Dr Bloom decided to talk to us privately, "Morty, Marcus, The scar sacs containing the tuberculosis were sabotaged. This disaster was an inside job. Keep your eyes on Annie. She was written up several times by her manager at the churro stand,"
Though Morty may not believe this because Annie's hot, I don't believe it for a second since Annie's reaction in the respiratory system was genuine, and therefore she couldn't have sabotaged those sacs.
Roger doesn't seem to be a likely suspect since he's quite a professional in this line of work and loyal to Dr Bloom's work.
Thus, all my thoughts point to Poncho but I have yet to find proof of his involvement in this sabotage. In the meantime, I'll be watching him until something pops out...
"Hey, just so you know, I-I-I'm actually 14," Morty noted, "So, you know..."
"What?" Annie mouthed in confusion,
"Not 12," Morty corrected,
"Okay," Annie said in confusion,
"You know, because he just said I was 12," Morty mentioned while pointing at Poncho,
"Oh. Good for you," Annie said before going ahead,
"Oof, Ugh, Morty. Strike one," Rick remarked while Morty looked despond,
I rolled my eyes at this and kept moving...
All of us were now riding a small boat and to our left was a bunch of small animatronics singing a song in loop. Almost everyone seemed annoyed while Dr. Bloom is the only one who's enjoying this ride.
"It goes on like this for miles," Roger remarked,
"Then we get to the large intestine!" Dr. Bloom said rather excitingly while I made a mental note to myself to shorten the ride of small intestine attraction for the adults' and children's sanity.
Moments later, we soon hear a growl and Poncho shushes Dr. Bloom and shines his flashlight, "I hear something,"
We looked around, and what emerged from the fluids was a large creature, presumably one of the escaped diseases.
"Don't move," Dr. Bloom quietly advised, "Gonorrhea can't see us if we don't move,"
Sadly, this turned out badly when Gonorrhea roared at the boat and made its way to us.
"Wait, I was wrong. I was thinking of the T-Rex," Dr. Bloom admitted while Poncho and I aimed our weapons at it,
Before we could fire, Gonorrhea submerged itself into the water and it capsized the boat as we were tossed into the fluids.
"Move!" Poncho yelled as we all emerged and swam to solid ground. We then saw Gonorrhea emerge from the water and tore through the boat with its jaws.
"We're sitting ducks!" Annie yelled,
"Doc, didn't you say that the body was filling with gas?" Morty inquired,
"Yes, why?" Dr. Bloom asked, though Poncho and I see to get the idea,
"Kid, you're a genius," Poncho praised as he pulled out a match,
"Are you mad?!" Dr. Bloom frantically questioned,
"He isn't! Now get into the crevice there!" I yelled and we all ran toward it,
As soon as everyone was in, Poncho proceeded with the plan, "Hey, Gonorrhea. How's this for a burning sensation!"
He'd tossed the lit match towards Gonorrhea's direction and the gas exploded with it in the center. As soon as the smoke clears, Gonorrhea has been burned to a crisp and falls into the water.
"Huh," Annie expressed in awe before hugging Morty,
He giggled and the other smiled while I had to be a bit of a buzzkill, "How much farther?"
"It's not far from here, we can get there on foot," Roger said, and we all continued with our original plan of escape,
Dr. Bloom inputs a code on a keypad and we'd run through a door to a platform.
"I should be able to access the backup generator to get the growth ray online," Roger explained as we ran through the platform, "I just hope Reuben's not in a room with white carpets or upholstery,"
"Don't worry about that. Because he died in Rick's garage and there's no way he'd dump the body with us in it," I assured him,
We soon heard metal rumbling and became cautious over the matter.
"What the hell is that?" Poncho asked,
"The Sphincter Dam," Dr Bloom revealed and pointed towards the large metal gates, "We built it when Reuben became incontinent, but it was not designed to hold a corpse load,"
"I've almost got it. Everybody, move inside the circle," Roger instructed and pointed at the said circle,
Before we did that, Morty heard some shrieking and spotted something moving from Poncho's backpack, "Poncho, What is this in your backpack?"
Poncho turns to Morty, and this causes Dr. Bloom to see the creature as well.
"That's Bubonic plague!" Dr. Bloom recognized, and walked up to him "What are you doing with that, Poncho?"
Without a second wasted, He'd grabbed the nearest person, Annie, and held her at knifepoint, "Everybody, get back!"
"Poncho, you son of a bitch!" Dr. Bloom yelled, "You released the tuberculosis so you could steal from me?"
Poncho admits his doings and goes on to monologue the usual dialogue about people who would pay top dollar to decimate the population. He'd take and work for the highest bidder than to work with the likes of Dr. Bloom.
But before he'd finish his insult on Dr. Bloom, Morty lunged at Poncho and started hitting him on the head. This allowed Annie to escape Poncho's muscular arms and I pulled out a pistol (Tamayura).
The moment he threw Morty off of him, I'd shoot Poncho through the shoulder.
"You know, Poncho. It's a damn shame that you turned out to be a crook," I remarked, "We could have known each other a bit more, but I'm not down nor into traitors,"
Poncho would then have his shot shoulder bitten by Bubonic Plague and I'd fire several more shots until he got off the railings. His dying scream was the last thing from him before hearing the sound of the Sphincter Dam breaking,
"You guys!" Annie yelled,
"It's gonna burst! Go!" Roger yelled, then he briefly turned to me, "Marcus, help me with this,"
Dr. Bloom, Annie, and Morty ran to the other door while I helped Roger pull the lever to open the door. Before could leave, Roger felt a tug on his foot and was unable to move.
"What's wrong," I asked,
"My foot is stuck," Roger said, as he couldn't remove his foot from the machine,
I'd glance at the Sphincter Dam as several bolts were popping out of the metal work and I'd decided to solve this situation with a drastic move. I would pull out a small pill I packed with me, toss it into my mouth, and proceed to pull whatever locked itself onto Roger's foot.
Once he was free, I knew that we weren't going to reach the others since they were too far away. Therefore, I succeeded in carrying Roger into my arms with ease.
"Hey, what are you-" Before Roger could ask, I'd unfurl my wings which baffled Roger from the mere sight of them,
I'd flap them once to get us off the floor and then dash towards the others while the Sphincter Dam was close to bursting.
When it did, time appeared to be slower as we were a few inches away from the door, Dr. Bloom standing by the door controls and Annie and Morty stretching their arms to them as if they needed to catch us two.
Fortunately, we went through the open door, Dr. Bloom shut the door close, and Annie and Morty were dragged toward the wall after Roger and I hit them upon entry.
We get our bearings together, and Annie and Morty seemed relieved knowing that we were alright, "Y-You made it! That was incredible, Marcus, You were a real hero out there,"
"Thanks, Morty," I thanked without change of expression, and tossed myself off of Morty's body,
As Roger and Annie got up, they turned to me and looked horrified while Dr. Bloom audibly muttered with widened eyes, "Oh my god..."
Morty looked confused by their looks, and then he turned in the same direction and saw that I'd lost both of my legs in the process, "Whoa, Marcus! your legs,"
I briefly glanced at him, then I turned to my bleeding legs. Dr Bloom and I turned towards the doors and saw the trail of blood stopping by the door.
"A-A-A-Are you dying? Are you alright?" Morty frantically asked, "W-W-What do you we do?"
"There should be a medkit nearby, I'll go find it," Roger volunteered,
"Don't bother, I brought my own," I said, and pulled out a small case with the white cross embedded in it,
I'd place it onto my lap, open it, and pull out a syringe gun with some serum inside the vial. My vision before blurry due to blood loss, and I quickly held the syringe gun to the nearest person, "Can you inject this into my thighs, please? I'm afraid I am in no position to do so,"
I felt the syringe gun being taken off my hands and felt the pricking sensation on my thighs as the serum was being injected into me.
A couple of minutes later, I'd feel my legs growing rather rapidly into a new set and my vision becomes clear. The person who had injected the serum into my legs was Annie and they all checked up on me after I got my legs back.
"Are you alright, Marcus?" Dr. Bloom asked,
"Visions blurry and a little lightheaded. Other than that, I'm fine," I assured, "Though I may need some help since I have yet to feel the nerves around my legs,"
"I'll do it," Roger said, and hoisted my shoulder around his neck,
He then proceeds to lift me and I do what I can to minimize my weight with my polymorphic powers. Speaking of which, Morty had decided to ask about that topic in particular, "Marcus... Since when do you grow wings?"
"That? Why I just consumed a pill that Rick manufactured and it allowed me to alter my genetic structure, I'm kinda like that hero who can shapeshift into animals but not entirely," I explained, and Roger confirmed my claim in the process,
"Quite spectacular, I must say," Dr Bloom complimented, and Annie and Morty seemed to agree with him,
With that done, we all continued to walk our way to another area. However, I noticed Morty locking arms with Annie since she started seeing him as her hero after he lunged at Poncho to save her.
I couldn't care less about what's to come, what matters is that we rest for a moment and formulate a plan of escape after the last one became a bust with Poncho's betrayal and the Sphincter Dam destroying the growth ray.
We all took a break at some animatronic theatre room and Morty decided to become intimate with Annie as they made out a few seats away while Dr. Bloom, Roger, and I were eating some ice cream that the Amoeba Doctor brought,
"My name is Reuben Ridley. You're inside of me right now but by the end of this journey. I'll be inside all of you," The Reuben Animatronic cited, "My story begins during the dot-com crash of the early '90s"
"How'd you get Reuben's story anyway?" I asked while eating some vanilla ice cream,
"Before Rick and Dr. Bloom decided that we'd use Reuben for the park. They had him explain his life story, recorded it, and the rest came through the creation of the park," Roger said as he ate some chocolate ice cream,
I mouthed the term 'ah' as my way of understanding the origin and then I heard Rick's voice from Morty's helmet after Annie whispered in the latter's ear.
After several moments have passed, Rick suddenly asks a question, "Morty, can you get to the left nipple?"
"Are you kidding? I'm hoping I can get to both of 'em," Morty said,
"Oh for crying out loud," I muttered, sluggishly walking my way to Morty's helmet and grabbing it, "Rick, Morty's busy. So lay out the details to me instead,"
"I was talking about Reuben's left nipple, can you two get there?" Rick asked,
I turned to Roger and Dr. Bloom and the former relayed that answer to me, "Reuben's nipple hole isn't far, we can make it if we hurry,"
"Alright, Rick. We'll rendezvous with you there," I said, then we felt a tremor in the theater room,
Then several pieces of the ceiling began to break and fall over us, "Alright, people! We've got a place to escape, all we need to do is to get there,"
"The body is decaying! The arterial transit system is useless," Dr. Bloom explained, "We can try the service shuttle. It's connected to the skeletal system. That's why we call it the bone train,"
I gave a strange look at Dr. Bloom's nickname for the service shuttle and then we proceeded to hear a joke from him, "Would you like to ride the bone train, Miss?"
"If it'll get us out here," Annie replied,
"How about you, Morty? Would you like to ride the bone train?" Dr. Bloom inquired,
"Why are you doing this bit? We're gonna die! Let's go!" Morty said as he gently pushed Dr. Bloom away,
"How are your legs, Marcus?" Roger asked,
"I can feel and move them, but don't expect me to do some running though," I said,
With that, we made our way to the service shuttle before Reuben's body decayed and killed us with it.
Upon our arrival, Roger examined the control panel with Dr. Bloom while I held my rifle at the ready in case any vicious diseases attacked.
"Looks like the controls are good to go. With the shuttle's autopilot system online, we'll reach the left nipple hole as Rick said," Roger explained,
"Then our last stop is the nipple hole," I declared, "Everyone into the train, we're leaving this place,"
Everyone was about to board the train, but that's when saw something marching its way down the stairs,
"What is that?!" Annie exclaimed,
"E. Phage Outbreak!" Dr. Bloom recognized,
"Get in the fucking train!" I yelled and started firing upon the viruses,
With everyone inside the train, I jumped inside and kept firing at the viruses before they could enter the train with us.
The train soon departs from the station, though some of the E Phage Viruses have managed to climb onto the train before it leaves the station.
Those viruses would chew through the doors and Morty kills the first by using a fire extinguisher to bash its head in, "We're in the areola, Rick! Almost to the nipple, but we're also in a really bad situation!"
"I'm almost there, you two!" Rick said through the speaker,
As the service shuttle kept moving, Morty and I kept the E. Phage viruses at bay. Eventually, we run into another problem...
"Oh my god, the track!" Morty exclaimed as we all looked ahead,
"It's Hepatitis A!" Annie recognized as the virus had destroyed the tracks,
"It must have followed us from here!" Dr. Bloom presumed,
"Hit the brakes!" I yelled,
Roger grabbed the levers and simultaneously pulled them the train's brakes. The wheels grind against the tracks, and moments later, the train flies off the rails and everyone is braced for impact as the train crashes right through the flesh wall.
We soon reached the other side, and the train hit a hard piece of flesh which caused all to burst right through the train windows and everyone stumbles on the ground.
When we got our bearings together, we were soon greeted with the sight of Reuben's nipple hole.
"The nipple hole," Annie said in awe,
"It's beautiful," Morty remarked,
Before anyone else said anything, we soon heard the train being wrecked from the inside and what emerged was Hepatitis A as it caught up to us.
I'd aim and pull the trigger, sadly, the gun clicked which meant that it had run out of bullets, "Shit, I'm out!"
"Run!" Roger yelled, and we all started running,
Hepatitis A soon rushed at us with immense speed and closed in on us rather quickly. But before it caught any one of us, another monster that was larger than Hepatitis A had appeared and bit down on Hepatitis A's body.
"Whoa! It's Hepatitis C!" Annie recognized,
Instead of going after us, it just gave a thumbs up and left with Hepatitis A in its jaws...
"Uh... What just happened?" I asked,
"D-Did we just have some sort of relationship with him?" Morty added,
"I think they're just like that? I think they're just good guys," Annie remarked,
"Probably," Dr. Bloom admitted, and so did Roger,
Moments later, Rick's ship entered through the nipple hole, parked the door in front of us, and opened it while letting a couple of wine bottles drop all over the floor, "Hey, Dr. Bloom. It's been a while,"
"Likewise, Rick," Dr. Bloom said and we all boarded Rick's ship,
Rick then drove us out of Reuben's nipple hole and some of us had to watch Reuben's enlarged body floating in space before witnessing it explode before our very eyes. Thick layers of blood and chunks of viscera soon hurled their way down to earth,
As we arrived on Earth again, Rick started a simple conversation with Dr. Bloom, "It looks like we're back to square one again, Huh, Dr. Bloom?"
"Indeed, Rick," Dr. Bloom said as he went out of Rick's spaceship after it was parked in the garage, "Though the first step will be to make a much safer environment, recruit a more trustworthy staff, and a much grander version of Anatomy Park, which reminds me,"
Dr. Bloom turns to Roger, "Roger, for your loyalty and service, I've decided to make you the New Head of Anatomy Park's Maintenance Department. What says you?"
"After all those times we've been through. I am honored for the position, Dr. Bloom," Roger said as he shook Dr. Bloom's hand,
"And... what about Pirates of the Pancreas?" Rick asked,
"Well, I think it was one of the most underrated attractions," Annie said rather drawn by the attraction,
"Booyah!" Rick said and placed some helmets onto Annie and Roger's heads respectively, "Hold your breaths!"
He then activated the machine which shrunk the three of them, much to Morty's dismay, "Hey, wh-wh- What the hell, Rick? What the hell, man? I liked her! I really had somethin' going there, Rick!"
"Yeah, so I heard. You dodged a bullet, Morty, trust me," Rick said as he pocketed the vial containing the three, "Puffy vagina,"
"W-What's wrong with that? That doesn't sound like a problem to me! I dunno!" Morty questioned while I rolled my eyes and followed them to the living room,
But when we arrived, we saw the entire family and strangely Ethan, Summer's boyfriend, using their handheld devices after Jerry gave them back.
Rick would go on a rant about everyone using their gadgets and try to remind them about Christmas and such. No matter how much Rick tries to convince them of it, they won't listen as they only pay attention to their gadgets instead of Rick's rant.
As soon as he finished, I decided to intervene since I'd been through a long day. I went up to my room, carried a large red sack filled with presents and a whistle, and came back down to the living room, "People,"
When no one looked at me, I'd resort to the whistle and one long blow caused everyone to stop using their devices from being startled and some began to complain at me instead of Rick.
"Look!" I yelled and everyone flinched at my voice, "I know you all don't want to be disturbed by your gadgets, but I've been through much after I joined in on Rick's affairs. For that, I've decided I'll be jumping in on handing today's Christmas Present,"
I'd open the sack and proceeded to hand out the presents in order: Summer, Beth, Rick, Morty, Grandpa Leonard, Grandma Joyce, Jacob, and finally Jerry. Ethan asked if he had a present, and I'd say that I did get one since he came here unexpectedly.
Once everyone had their presents, I'd toss the empty sack towards the Christmas tree, "Now that everyone has their presents, I'll be heading out now. For I've got places to be, so I'll see you all later, and Merry Christmas,"
With that said and done, I walked my way out of the living room and everyone heard the door close.
(3rd POV)
Joyce would sigh dejectedly and Jacob was quick to notice her, "Hey, what's wrong? Did you not like his present?"
"Oh, it's not that. It's just... Long before he stayed here with Jerry and his family, Marcus was quite different than he is today," Joyce said and went through the photo gallery of her phone, "He was always the happy-go luck kind of person, and every day is always so bright and happy whenever he shows us that smile he has always worn his face,"
Jacob looks into Joyce's phone and sees an old Christmas photo of Marcus' early childhood. Leonard and Joyce looked a little younger in the photo, and a much smaller and younger Marcus was on Leonard's back like a horse with and candy cane in one hand.
Everyone else became curious as well, the adults in the room, excluding Rick, felt despond upon seeing this old memory.
"Every day was always so special with that bright smile of his," Leonard said, "Even the thought of it was enough to get through several chemotherapy sessions,"
"But after several years of his stay here, he's changed. He was no longer the boy who was always smiling," Joyce admitted, "Instead, he lost that smile and everything seemed down whenever he came and visited us. What'd I wish to see that smile again,"
"I'm sure he'll come around," Jacob hoped, "In fact, he looks rather good with that smile,"
"He certainly is..." Beth added,
As for the young people in the room, they were curious to know what he would look like if he were to smile again. But that is but a dream that may never come today or tomorrow...
Marcus had taken a bus and his destination was a local cemetery...
Much like the streets and roads on the way here, the places were littered with blood, snow, and bits of viscera. He wouldn't care about this and just walked down the pathway alone and held a plastic bag filled with items.
Eventually, he'd arrived at a pair of headstones near a deciduous tree and noticed some blood, snow, and bits of viscera covering said headstones.
For this, he went to find a snow shovel and started plowing the bloodied snow and viscera off of these gravestones.
Once he finished, he bent down and started cleaning the headstones until the names revealed themselves to him: Cathrine Smith and Beloved Abeia...
With this done, he then put down the plastic bag, brought out two apples, and placed them on the headstones respectively. He did the same to some candles and proceeded to light them up with some matches.
As the candles slowly burned, Marcus pulled out the last item in the plastic bag, which was a canned soda. He'd popped it open and drank it down.
Only when a quarter of the soda was consumed, did he stare at the headstones and maintain that dejected look he wore all the time.
"Merry Christmas, you two," Marcus muttered, and remained until either the can goes empty, the candles stopped burning, or the cold winds got to him.
In the end, he'd leave the headstones and only return when night comes around...
(Bonus Scene)
Rick and Marcus are together and remain by the phone as the New Anatomy Park has been established.
"Hey, Rick! Rick, can you hear me?" Annie asked,
"Loud and clear, Annie," Rick responded, "I'm also here with Marcus,"
"Great! We're also on with Alejandro, our Chief Imaginarian," Annie said,
"Hey, Rick! Hey Marcus!" Alejandro greeted,
"Natalie Jacobs and Chris Desiter from Microscopic Marketing, Zach from Organ Concepts, and Jamie from New Media," Annie introduced,
"Hey everybody," Rick and Marcus greeted simultaneously, and they greeted them all the same. After their greetings, Marcus notices something, "Where's Roger and Dr. Bloom?"
"Roger's managing some maintenance work in the lower abdomen while Dr. Bloom secluded himself in making future projects in the park," Annie explained, "Which is why I'm taking this call in his place,"
"Good to know," Marcus remarked,
"So. Pirates of the Pancreas," Annie started,
"Yeah, talk to me," Rick insisted,
"Dr. Bloom had reconstructed some of the original attractions from Reuben's Body to here, though some of them required some readjusting since this is a new and much healthier body," Annie explained, "For Pirates of the Pancreas, that one didn't really need much change. So I guess it's still good to go,"
"Oh, thank god," Rick said with relief,
"And what of the ride I proposed to Dr. Bloom?" Marcus inquired,
"Oh, I was just going to get to that," Annie said, "Thanks to your resources and connections, Dr. Bloom wishes to express his heartfelt gratitude for contributing your part in the park. He and everyone else have given the go-ahead with your proposed ride as a token of our gratitude,"
"Much obliged," Marcus said, "Just keep up the good work,"
After some trivial matters, the call ends on good terms and Rick places his hand on Marcus' shoulder, "You know, Marcus. I *belches* think this whole thing is going to work out just fine,"
"If that's what you say, Rick," Marcus remarked,
"So... Those guys are inside me, building a park?" Ethan asked as he was hooked up to some medical machines,
"They are, and I'd say that things are going to work out just fine as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle," Marcus explained, "Oh, and keep yourself away from excessive use of alcohol and drugs,"
"Cool... And who pays me?" Ethan inquired,
Rick and Marcus just rolled their eyes since we have no intention of paying him. Instead, they were going to erase that memory and convince him to have an annual medical checkup with them...
That is it for this episode, everyone! And before you all go, some things need saying and reviews need to be replying.
The next episode will contain drakin6345's characters. It will take a while since I'm going off the rails of the original series, but I'll somehow make it work.
And speaking of original episodes, I've decided that maybe I shouldn't be the only one making these things alone. Let's have people like you guys join in on the fun!
That's right, I am officially taking requests and suggestions on future original episodes with your original characters, plot, and all other stuff in the mix. As Rick once said 'Infinite is a Big Number', therefore, anything can happen. (Just remember to PM them, seeing them in the review section is just straight-up spoiling, even if I have to alter the details as I work through them)
Now that that's done, I'll be replying to the reviews of the last episode
Gamelover41592: Much Appreciated!
Wolfking0811: Well the model I've chosen for Marcus' Android is similar to Kara's Model.
That is all for the reviews, and I'll see you guys in the Original Chapter!
