Hello everyone! In honor of Sonic's 30th anniversary, here's a special chapter. I'm sure everyone was waiting for this chapter. The day the dino kids visit Sonic's world! I know that I missed the 30th anniversary but better late than never. And again, I ask that everyone please be patient with my stories cause sometimes things in life can get in the way and I can't put my life on hold for writing. Hope you all enjoy this chapter. ONWARD to the story!

Intro Theme: 'Sonic Heroes' from Sonic Heroes

High up on a big cliff, Sonic looks around his home with his arms crossed. Sonic then looks at the 'screen' with a toothy smile. He then jumps high and dives off. He feels the air rush through him. After a few seconds, his feet then hit near the bottom of the cliff and he zooms off up another cliff.
What goes up, must come down
Yet my feet don't touch the ground
See the world spinin' upside down
A mighty crash without a sound
Sonic then lands and zooms off again. Tails then appears while flying near Sonic. Both Mobians look at each other with a smile. They both run off. Knuckles then appears and ran beside them. Knuckles waves and Sonic gives his friend a thumbs-up.
I can feel your every rage
Step aside, I'll turn the page
Breakin' thru your crazy maze
Like a laser beam, my eyes on you
The 3 Mobians stop by another cliff, overlooking a Mobian town. The 3 Mobians then see Littlefoot and the kids run to the entrance of the town. The kids then stopped and looked at the town in awe and wonder. They saw all sorts of things they've never seen before. They saw many structures and other wondrous things. Sonic and his Mobian friends then make their way to the town.
Watch me rule the night away
Watch me save the day
Feel my storm is getting close
Headed your way
The dino kids then turn to see the 3 Mobians coming to the town. The kids greet them. Sonic then smiles at his dino friends and the kids smile back. Sonic then runs off, while Tails and Knuckles lead the kids through the town. Some residents wave to Sonic as he runs by. The kids then see Amy and Cream running to them, with Cheese the Chao following Cream. Amy and Cream then wave and the kids smile, while Tails and Knuckles nod. The scene then shifts back to Sonic running through. Some other Mobians come into view. First, Shadow, Rouge, and Omega appear. Shadow has a stoic expression and his arms are crossed. Rouge had a smile while Omega was emotionless.

Next, the Chaotix team appears, with the members of Espio, Vector, and Charmy. Espio had his arms crossed. Vector then smiled while Charmy smiled and waved.

Setting the stage for a heroes parade
The scene then showed Sonic standing by Tails' house. He looked out into the town again with a smile. The dino kids stood by him, enjoying the view as well. Sonic then spotted 3 figures coming into town. It was his rivals, the Babylon Rogues. The members were Jet, Storm, and Wave. The 3 Rogues rode on their Extreme Gear hover boards. Sonic then zoomed down to greet his rivals. Jet had an arrogant smirk on his face. He was ready for another race with the Blue Runner. The dino kids then arrived with Tails and Knuckles with them. Jet then pointed a finger at Sonic and then nodded, while putting his fists to his hips. Sonic then nodded with a prideful smirk as well. Sonic had accepted Jet's challenge.
You can bet there ain't no doubt
As the words spill out from the mouth of a hero
The scene then shows Sonic on his hover board, speeding through town. The Babylon Rogues follow quickly behind. Shadow and Knuckles are on their hover boards as well. Jet then speeds right beside Sonic. Both Mobians looked at each other with prideful grins. They both then speed off, with other riders following behind. Amy, Cream, and the Chaotix watch the riders race off. The riders then race on some kind of race course.
I can chase another day
Or fight you all the way
Like a hero
Tails then flies by, piloting the Tornado. The kids were riding on the Tornado, watching Sonic race. Tails then flew close by Sonic. Tails and the kids smiled at Sonic. Sonic then gave a thumbs-up with a confident smile. Sonic then raced some more with Jet following closely behind.
And together we stand strong no matter how
No one can bring us down

The scene then shifts back to another hill with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and the dino kids looking out into the distance. The kids thought that Sonic had an amazing world. The group then smiled as they looked farther into the distance. Amy and Cream join the group, also looking outwards. They all wondered what awaits them next. The scene then shifts to the sky.

Chapter 6: A Day On Mobius
The kids remembered about Sonic's adventures and wondered what it would be like in Sonic's world. So, the kids asked Sonic if they could spend a whole day in his home. Sonic was a bit surprised that the kids would ask such a thing. But after some thought, Sonic decided that it would be a good idea. The kids could experience a whole new adventure. Sonic then told the kids that they would have to ask their parents for permission. Their parents were skeptical at first, but they all knew that Sonic would watch over their precious children. After all, Sonic has proven to the parents quite a few times that he always protected the children. The parents then agreed and the kids cheered in happiness. Sonic nodded. He activated his time band. A blue circular portal appeared. However, up a hill, Daxter was watching. He was about to plan another attack. But then suddenly, he heard something flying towards him. He looked behind himself and saw a missile coming. He jumped to evade the missile as it hit the ground and exploded. He then looked upwards and saw Eggman appear. The evil genius grinned coldly.
"Time to teach you a lesson Dome-Head. Only I will rule this world. And no stubborn dinosaur like you will change that" Eggman said.
Daxter glared at the evil scientist. "Let's see who the better genius is then."
Eggman then summoned some Egg bots. The bots ran at Daxter. Some had blasters and others had swords or hammers. Daxter then fought the Egg bots.
Meanwhile, Sonic and the kids then walked to the portal. Sonic and the kids said their good- byes and the parents said the same. Sonic and the kids went through the portal and the portal disappeared. The parents hoped that their children will be safe. Sonic and the gang went through a tunnel of many colors.
On the planet Mobius…
A portal then opened on Tails' time device. Tails then saw that Sonic and the kids stepped through the portal. The portal then closed. The kids looked around Tails' workshop. They saw all sorts of metal devices and other things.
"Hey Sonic and kids!" exclaimed Tails.
"Hey Tails!" exclaimed Sonic.
"Hi Tails!" exclaimed all the kids.
"So you brought the kids over this time. What's the plan?" asked Tails.
"Well, the kids wanted to see our world for once. So I thought, (Shrugs) why not?" Sonic answered with a smile.
"So their parents said that it was okay?" asked Tails.
Sonic nodded. "Uh huh."
Tails simply smiled. "Alright then. (Looks at the kids) You guys want to look around town?"
The kids nodded with excitement. They really wanted to see something new.
"Let's go exploring!" exclaimed Littlefoot. The others also agreed. Petrie felt a little skeptical though.
"Me hope that we don't run into Sharpteeth" said Petrie. Sonic and Tails shook their heads with a smile.
"You won't have to worry about that here Petrie" said Sonic.
"Yeah, Sharpteeth don't exist in our home" added Tails. Petrie then sighed in relief. But then Sonic and Tails remembered that Vector was like a Sharptooth. Sonic and Tails then led the kids through a small Mobian town. Mobius was very similar to Earth. They saw other Mobians living their own lives. Some did gardening or working on technology. Some Mobians watched the dino kids walk by with fascination. Even some humans lived on Mobius. The dino kids knew what a human was like but the only human they met was the mean Eggman. The residents were very surprised at seeing dinosaurs alive again. Even some Mobian children waved at the dino kids. The kids then waved back using a hand or front leg. Only Petrie, Ducky, Chomper, and Ruby could really wave with their hands. The kids were quite astonished by the town. They saw all sorts of structures they've never seen at all. Tails explained what buildings are and about vehicles. The kids have never heard of a device that can take others to places much faster than walking. Vehicles were similar to the Tornado plane. The group then spotted 2 Mobians walking to them. It was Amy and Cream, along with Cheese the Chao. Amy and Cream walked over to the group.
"Hi guys" Amy said with a smile.
"Hey Amy and Cream" Sonic said with a smile. Tails said the same thing.
"Hi Amy" said the kids. The kids then looked at Cream. They've never met someone with long ears. They then saw Cheese as well. They wondered what kind of being Cheese was. Cream and Cheese were astounded to see dino children but it was nice. Amy then introduced the kids.
"Oh, Cream these are our friends we met some time ago" said Amy.
Cream then smiled. "Hello. My name is Cream. (Gestures to Cheese) And this is Cheese."
Cheese smiled and waved. "Chao chao" said Cheese. The kids smiled and introduced themselves.
"Hi, my name is Littlefoot. I'm a Longneck" said Littlefoot.
"I'm Cera, a Three-Horn" said Cera.
"Me Petrie, a Flyer" said Petrie. Petrie hovered a little.
"And I'm Ducky, a Swimmer" said Ducky. "(Gestures to Spike) And this is Spike, a Spiketail."
Spike mumbled happily with a nod. Ducky then explained some more, "Spike doesn't talk much. Oh, no. But he still says hello."
"I'm Chomper, a Sharptooth but I'm a friendly Sharptooth" said Chomper.
"And I'm Ruby, a Fast Runner. A Runner that is fast" said Ruby.
Cream giggled a little. "It's very nice to meet you all. I'm a rabbit and Cheese is a Chao. Cheese doesn't talk very much either."
The kids then looked confused. They don't know much about the modern animals. Nor have they heard of a Chao.
"What's a 'rabbit'?" asked Littlefoot.
"And what's a 'Chao'?" asked Cera. Now Cream seemed a little confused. Cream was about to explain but Amy beat her to it.
"It just means that she has long ears and she's a Flyer. Cheese is like a Flyer too" answered Amy. The kids then replied "Ohh…"
Cream then looked at Amy with confusion. "A Flyer?"
Amy then whispered to Cream. "Dinosaurs are not as smart as we are. So they don't know what a rabbit or a hedgehog is."
Cream then raised both eyebrows. "Oh. I'm sorry."
"It's ok" replied Amy. Tails then explained to the kids what a Chao is. Chaos are very different creatures and they can fly without wings. The kids were very surprised about the existence of Chaos. They also thought that Cream was kind of cute. The group then walked around town some more. Knuckles then came by and followed. After some time, the kids' tummies grumbled. They were really hungry. Sonic then said that they'll head back for some lunch. The group agreed. Even Tails, Amy, and Cream felt hungry. They all headed back to Tails' house. Sonic then brought all sorts of fruits and vegetables for the kids. They knew what berries are but they've never seen apples, oranges, kiwis, bananas, pineapples, or watermelon. Spike was about to munch on a banana but Sonic stopped him and told him that you eat the banana's inside and not the peel. He also had to peel an orange for the kids. They each tried some of the fruits. They tasted really good. Spike really liked the watermelon. Sonic even gave them some vegetables. They didn't like the real crunchy ones like carrots and radish. Sonic and the other Mobians also had some fruit. Sonic then gave Chomper 2 drumsticks since Chomper couldn't eat fruit. Chomper then ate the drumsticks. They were really good. The kids were now getting thirsty. Littlefoot then looked at Sonic.
"So, where do you get water? I don't see any ponds around here" said Littlefoot.
"Oh, we get our water from the faucet" said Sonic. The kids felt confused at the word.
"Faucet?" asked Littlefoot. Sonic then explained how they get water from the sink. The water also came from pipes that were installed. The kids were amazed to hear that you can choose the temperature of the water. Though, of course, they would choose cool water. Tails then explained how they had separate sinks as well. Tails then saw that Spike walked over to the toilet. He lifted the lid and saw water. He was pretty thirsty. Tails then went wide-eyed and quickly pulled Spike away from the toilet.
"No, no Spike. Don't drink from that" Tails said with a serious expression. The kids wondered why. They walked over and looked at the toilet curiously.
"What's this thing that has water in it?" asked Cera. Tails explained what a toilet is. It was a thing that they used to 'relieve' themselves. The kids then felt grossed out when they realized what Tails meant. They had sickened expressions. They're glad that they didn't drink from that. Sonic then grabbed some bowls and gave the kids some water. Sonic and the others had lunch as well. Sonic had one of his favorite foods, a chili dog. The kids wondered what Sonic was eating. Tails then looked at Sonic.
"Uh, Sonic? You did tell them right?" asked Tails.
Sonic raised an eyebrow. "Tell them what?"
Tails then whispered. "That we're (Clears throat) omnivores?"
Sonic then raised both eyebrows. He forgot to tell the dino kids that they ate both plants and meat. The kids were pretty upset when Sonic told them what he and the Mobians ate. But the kids weren't too upset because they knew that Sonic was their best friend and he would never hurt them. Tails then explained about the bathtub since Littlefoot got curious about it. The bathtub was used for washing just like how the kids washed themselves in a river. The kids found it interesting how the Mobians got water and how they wash themselves.
After they were done eating lunch, the group went back out to explore more of the town. They then saw another Mobian that flew to them. It was Rouge. Rouge then hovered by the group and landed. Shadow and Omega also appeared. The kids remembered Shadow but Rouge and Omega were mysterious to them.
Rouge gave her usual smirk. "What's up fellas?"
"Hey Rouge" said Sonic. The other Mobians said the same. Rouge then looked at the kids curiously, and then looked back at Sonic.
"So you made some new friends huh?" said Rouge. The kids thought that Rouge was… odd. Rouge's voice had a creamy tone to it. Though, they thought that she was pretty but odd.
Sonic nodded. "Yep. These are my dino friends I met."
The kids then introduced themselves. Rouge was a bit surprised that dinosaurs still lived.
"Dinosaurs huh? I thought that they were extinct long ago" said Rouge. The kids were puzzled at the word 'extinct.' Tails then explained what the word 'extinct' means. The kids were surprised at what Tails meant since the Mobians lived in the modern time and the dino kids lived in the past.
Sonic shrugged. "Well, I kind of went back in time to see them. They wanted to know what my home was like. So, I brought them over."
Rouge nodded. "Cool."
Sonic then told the kids that Rouge was a Flyer. Rouge was a bit confused at what Sonic said. Sonic then whispered that Dinosaurs are not very smart. Rouge then replied, "Oh, I see."
The kids then said 'hi' to Shadow. Shadow simply hmphed and replied "Whatever." The kids then looked at Sonic with a little confusion.
Sonic simply smiled. "Don't take it personally. He's always like this."
Rouge nodded. "Yep. That's how Shadow works."
Shadow then rolled his eyes. The kids then eyed Omega. Tails then explained that Omega is a robot. The kids remembered what robots are but Omega was a little different. Omega also used to serve Eggman but then rebelled. Omega is now friendly and helps around Mobius. The kids were quite surprised.
"You used to work with Eggman?" asked Littlefoot.
"Affirmative" replied Omega. The kids didn't know what Omega meant.
Tails then came in. "It's a robot's way of saying 'yes.'
The kids replied "Oh."
"Well, it's nice to meet you Omega" said Ruby.
"A pleasure to meet you as well, young dinosaur" said Omega. The kids thought that Omega talked funny because the robot's tone sounded emotionless and the robot had no mouth. But they accepted it. The kids then saw 3 other figures appearing. It was the Chaotix: Espio, Vector, and Charmy. The 3 members were also mysterious to the kids. The 3 Mobians walked over to the group.
"What's up Sonic?" Vector said with a smile.
"Yeah, what's up?" added Charmy.
"Hey guys" Sonic said with a smile. Espio then eyed the dino kids.
"How did you bring dinosaurs here?" asked Espio. Charmy then smiled with excitement.
"Dinosaurs?! Cool!" exclaimed Charmy. The little bee circled around the kids. The kids were amazed to meet a Mobian bee. Sonic then explained that he used the Chaos Emeralds to go back in time and made friends with dinosaurs. The Chaotix members were surprised. Sonic introduced the kids to the Chaotix and gestured to them.
"These are my dino friends: Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, and Ruby" said Sonic.
"Nice to meet ya!" exclaimed Vector. "The name's Vector. This is Espio. (Espio nods) and this is Charmy, (Charmy smiles and waves.) We're called the Chaotix. Any help you need, just ask and we'll be there."
The kids smiled and thanked Vector. Sonic then explained what the Chaotix members are. Espio is a Fast Runner, Vector is a friendly Sharptooth, and Charmy is well… a Buzzer. Vector was confused at the word 'Sharptooth.'
"Sharptooth?" Vector said as he scratched his head.
"It's what they call the ones that eat meat. And Sharpteeth are mean in their time" said Sonic. Vector then replied "Oh."
"A pleasure to meet friends of Sonic" said Espio.
"It's nice to meet you too" said Littlefoot. Some of the other kids said the same. It was a pretty nice day. The kids thought that Mobius was a very astonishing place. It was different from their home but it was wondrous. Suddenly, the group heard something coming fast. The group walked over and saw 3 beings zooming into town. The Mobians saw that it was the Babylon Rogues: Jet, Storm, and Wave. Jet was a green hawk, Storm was a gray albatross, and Wave was a purple swallow.
Babylon Rogues Theme: 'Catch Me If You Can' from Sonic Riders 2: Zero Gravity
The Rogues rode on their Extreme Gear hover boards. They zoomed and stopped by the group. Sonic smiled a little, but Tails had a serious expression. Knuckles and Amy frowned at the Rogues. Cream and Cheese felt nervous. The Chaotix also frowned at the Rogues because of their reputation as thieves. The kids wondered who these 3 mysterious riders were. Jet then got off his board. Jet then smirked arrogantly at Sonic.
"It's been a while, Sonic the Hedgehog" Jet said with pride.
Sonic then smiled. "(Hmph) What's up Jet?"
"I'm wanting to see who's the fastest. That's what's up" stated Jet.
Storm then came in. "Yeah, we're ready for another race. (Hmph)"
Wave then came in. "You guys up for the challenge?"
Knuckles then smiled with pride. "Anytime, Babylon Rogues."
The Rogues then eyed the kids. They were a bit surprised to see dinosaurs themselves, but Jet wasn't that impressed. Wave then looked closely at the kids. The kids raised an eyebrow.
"Interesting. So Dinosaurs aren't completely extinct after all" said Wave.
Sonic then explained how he used the Chaos Emeralds to visit the era of dinosaurs and how he made dino friends.
"Oh, so you brought them to the modern time" said Wave. Sonic nodded.
Jet rolled his eyes. "Tch. Who cares?"
The kids then thought the Babylon Rogues were weird. Littlefoot then wanted to introduce himself and his friends.
"Uh, hi. My name is Little…" started Littlefoot. But Jet rudely interrupted Littlefoot.
"Sorry, but I don't have the time for dino runts. My business is with Sonic and the team" Jet said with arrogance.
The kids all raised both eyebrows. Cera then frowned at Jet. She definitely didn't like this prideful 'Flyer.'
Cera stepped forward. "What did you say?!"
Storm then frowned at Cera. "You heard the boss. We don't listen to little babies. So get lost."
Cera growled at Storm. Wave then came in.
"Sorry, kid. But this is for the pros only" said Wave.
"So why don't you runts run along home" Jet said as he did a 'Shoo' gesture. Cera was now starting to get mad. The other kids really did not like the Rogues either.
"Try and make us then!" exclaimed Cera. The Rogues felt a little surprised at Cera's courage. Even Jet was a bit impressed.
Jet then smiled with pride and put his fists on his hips. "Hah, so little Horns here has an attitude. How cute."
Cera then narrowed her eyes at Jet. "I'm NOT a baby. Just who are you anyways?"
Jet then grinned. "Me? The name's Jet. (Gestures to his members with his thumb) And that's Storm (Storm hmphs) and Wave (Wave crosses her arms). We're the Babylon Rogues, the fastest riders ever. And you? Well, you're just a little brat."
Cera then glared at Jet. "Don't make me hurt you!"
Jet then laughed. "You hurt ME? Hah! You don't have what it takes, runt. But I'd love to see you try it."
Cera gritted her teeth at Jet. She was now really mad and didn't like to be called a 'runt.' The other kids felt uneasy. But just before Cera stepped forward, Sonic then came in.
"Whoa, take it easy there Jet" said Sonic. "These kids are my friends."
Cera then raised an eyebrow. Sonic then looked at Cera and shook his head, telling her that fighting Jet would be a bad idea. Cera then groaned and then hmphed while looking away.
Jet then laughed at Sonic. "You became friends with these brats? How pathetic. It looks like you got soft."
Sonic then frowned at Jet. "There's nothing wrong with making new friends and that doesn't mean I'm soft."
Jet then smirked. "Prove it then. Let's race!"
Sonic then crossed his arms and smirked. "Alright, name the place then."
"Metron City" said Jet. The kids raised an eyebrow. They've never heard of such a place.
Sonic nodded. "You got it."
Jet smirked. "Be there in ten minutes or you'll be last."
Sonic grinned back. "Don't you worry. I'll be there. (Looks at Tails and Knuckles) Right, guys?"
Tails nodded. "Uh huh."
Knuckles crossed his arms. "You bet ya."
The Babylon Rogues got on their hover boards and zoomed off. Sonic then told Tails and Knuckles that they should get ready. Both Mobians nodded. The group then walked off. The kids looked at Sonic.
"The Babylon Rogues seem like they're mean" said Littlefoot.
"Yeah, they're stuck up. I don't like them" Cera said with a frown.
"Cera, right. Me no like them at all" Petrie said while crossing his arms.
"They are rude. They are. They are" said Ducky. Spike mumbled in agreement.
"Well, they're treasure hunters like me but Jet is full of himself" said Knuckles.
"Yeah, the Rogues believe that they can best anyone" said Tails.
"True, but I never pass up a challenge. So, let's go show them what we can do" said Sonic.
Tails and Knuckles nodded. Cera then said that she would want to beat Jet at racing but then Sonic told her that she wouldn't last too long with Jet. Sonic told Cera that he and his buddies will handle it. Cera groaned but accepted it. But then she said that she wants to see Sonic beat Jet. The other kids also agreed. They want to watch Sonic and the others race. Tails then said that he'll help with that. Sonic and his 2 Mobian friends got their hover boards and got ready. The kids then rode with Tails on the Tornado while Knuckles and Sonic rode on their hover boards to their destination: Metron City.
Metron City: A combination of Grand Metropolis (Sonic Heroes) and Megalo Station (Sonic Riders 2)
After a few minutes, Sonic and the gang made it to Metron City. Amy, Cream, Shadow, Rouge, Omega and the Chaotix came along as well. The kids looked in awe and wonder at the big city. There were flying cars and tall skyscrapers. There were many things to see. They saw all sorts of logos and technology. The group then saw the Babylon Rogues right behind them. The Rogues were ready and so was Team Sonic. Tails made some flying devices that allowed the kids and the other Mobians to watch the race. Team Sonic and the Rogues got on their hover boards. Omega created a finish line for the race, near the entrance of the city. Jet looked at Sonic.
"Race you around the city 3 times. Let's see if you still got what it takes" Jet said with a smirk.
Sonic grinned. "Alright, bring it on!"
The others got ready. Storm grunted at Knuckles and Knuckles hmphed back. The kids watched from a makeshift screen made by Tails. The race was about to start. Rouge then flew just above the riders.
"Ok. Get ready. (The riders had looks of determination) 3… 2… 1… GO!" Rouge announced.
Race Theme: 'Egg Fleet' from Sonic Heroes
The racers zoomed off into the city. The kids and the others cheered on Team Sonic.
"Go, Sonic! Go!" yelled Amy.
"You can do it Sonic!" yelled Littlefoot.
"Teach Jet a lesson!" yelled Cera. The others also cheered while Shadow and Omega watched. The riders raced through the city. Sonic was currently in the lead but Jet was then right beside Sonic. Knuckles was ahead of Storm but Wave got ahead of Tails. They raced around some cars and buildings. They even raced on the side of the buildings. Some of the city's residents watched the riders with astonishment. The riders zoomed around and went through the 1st lap. Jet was now in the lead. Sonic sighed while Jet smirked with pride at Sonic. Tails now got ahead of Wave. Knuckles was still ahead of Storm. Storm then managed to grab a heavy object and threw it at Knuckles. Knuckles didn't see it coming and got hit. He then tumbled and hit the ground. Storm then laughed and got ahead. The kids saw this on the screen. Cera frowned at Storm on the screen.
"Hey, that's not fair!" exclaimed Cera.
"Well, no rules were made" said Espio. Then they saw Knuckles get back up in no time and zoomed off.
"I hope Sonic and the others will be okay" said Littlefoot.
"Oh, I'm sure that Sonic's got this" said Vector.
"They are racing very fast. They are. They are" said Ducky.
"They go so fast that me can't keep my eyes on them" Petrie said as he kept covering his eyes.
"It's amazing how fast they can go" Chomper said with a smile.
Ruby nodded. "It's quite impressive."
The group watched the riders go. Knuckles then bumped Storm and Storm almost lost his balance. Knuckles then got ahead and yelled out, "Later!" Storm then growled and zoomed off. The riders now got through the 2nd lap. Sonic now got in the lead again, with Jet right behind. Tails was still ahead of Wave and Knuckles was ahead of Storm. They raced around the city again. The kids and the Mobians watched closely. They got very nervous. Jet tried to bump Sonic but Sonic managed to avoid Jet. Jet then frowned. Wave tried to bump Tails as well but Tails also managed to avoid the attack. However, no one noticed that someone was watching from up top a building. The stranger was not alone. He had some helpers. The stranger had a red sword and his helpers had weapons as well. It looked like trouble was brewing. The racers zoomed on some buildings and jumped to another road. All the riders did some tricks while in the air. The kids were astonished by the air tricks. The racers now got close to the finish line. The group got really nervous. Sonic and Jet were racing beside each other. Neither could best the other. After a few seconds, all riders zoomed past the finish line. Omega recorded who past first. The crowd cheered. The riders then stopped and got off their boards. Omega then showed the results on the screen. The finish was… a draw. The screen showed that Sonic and Jet both passed the finish line, while the others followed.

4th- Knuckles
5th- Storm
"We have a tie everyone" said Vector. Sonic shrugged and Jet hmphed. Cera groaned but she was happy enough that Jet didn't win but neither did Sonic. The kids cheered though because it was a good race. The kids walked to the racers.
"You still did good Sonic" said Littlefoot.
"It was pretty amazing" said Chomper. Sonic nodded.
"Though I wish that you won" said Cera.
Sonic shrugged. "I know."
Ruby then looked at Rogues. "You guys were pretty fast too."
Wave shrugged while Storm then scratched his head and replied, "Uh, thanks."
Jet rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever."
Cera then frowned at the Rogues. "But it wasn't nice what you guys did."
Ducky nodded. "It wasn't nice at all. Oh, no, no, no."
Jet raised an eyebrow. "Did what?"
"Come on, we all saw what you guys did. You tried to make Sonic and the others lose" said Cera.
Jet then smirked arrogantly. "Tch. Who said that it was a fair competition? There were no rules, so anything goes."
Storm then crossed his arms. "The boss has a point."
Cera then growled at Jet. Jet then hmphed. The others thought that it was a good race. Jet then looked at Sonic.
"I guess we didn't settle the score yet" said Jet.
"You're right. We'll have to race again" said Sonic. But before Jet could say more, Jet saw something coming from above. It looked like some sort of object. Jet then raised both eyebrows when he saw that it was a bomb.
"Everybody, move!" yelled Jet. The kids seemed confused. The other Mobians saw what Jet meant. The Mobians then grabbed the kids and ran as the bomb then hit the ground, and exploded. The group managed to avoid the blast. The group then saw a large group heading towards them. They were all Mobian Jackals. Some other jackals then appeared from random locations. They were surrounded by the jackals. The kids felt afraid but the Mobians didn't. Sonic then looked at the jackals. They all had weapons and intimidating looks. Some were gray and black colored and others were dark brown colored. Sonic looked around at the invaders.
"Who are these guys?" asked Sonic.
"I know who they are" Vector said with a frown. "These guys are the Jackal Squad. A bunch of thieves and mercenaries looking for anything they can take."
"Yeah, they're bullies" said Charmy.
"They're ruthless too" added Espio. Sonic and the gang got ready to fight. The group then saw another jackal walking towards them. This jackal was black and white colored. He had white dreadlocks behind his head. Both eyes were different colors. The left eye was blue and the right eye was yellow. This jackal was the leader. He carried a red sword on his side. He stopped walking a few feet from the group and grinned darkly. He looked at Sonic.
"Well, well, well. It's the famous hedgehog and his friends" said the leader.
The kids felt afraid of what the squad would do but the Mobians stood their ground. Jet then stepped forward.
"Just who are you?" Jet said with a frown.
The leader grinned. "My name is Razor and I'm the captain of the Jackal Squad. My companions and I wish to take what we want from this place and you guys are in my way. I suggest you surrender while you have the chance… or I'll be forced to teach you all a lesson."
Razor then saw the kids. He raised both eyebrows in astonishment. Then he smiled wickedly.
"Well, today is certainly full of surprises. So dinosaurs still live today. Maybe I could fetch a good price for them. (Rubs chin and looks at the children one by one) Or I could keep a few as my pets. Hm, hm, hm" said Razor.
The kids gasped in fear. The Mobians frowned at Razor. Jet then put his fists up. Storm and Wave stood beside him.
"Like that's ever gonna happen" said Jet. Sonic then stepped forward. Tails and Knuckles joined in as well.
"Yeah, let's see what you got" Sonic said as he smiled and got into a fighting stance. The other Mobians got ready too.
Razor then got angry. "You've been warned. (Pulls out his sword) Jackal Squad! Attack!"
Fight Theme: 'Through The Fire' from Sonic and the Black Knight
Some jackals laughed evilly. The jackals then charged at the group. The Mobians charged as well. Team Sonic fought some jackals and the Rogues fought as well. The Chaotix also jumped in the fight. The Mobians were making quick work of the squad. Sonic and Jet punched a few jackals while their buddies did the same. Rouge then kicked a few down. Omega blasted some jackals with his weapons. Vector and Charmy fought some other jackals. 4 jackals got ready to pounce on Espio but he made quick work of them with his ninja skills. Storm and Wave fought some jackals as well. 5 jackals then ran to the kids. They circled the kids like predators, ready to seize their prey. The kids felt scared. Chomper tried to be brave and made little roars at the jackals. But the jackals just laughed like maniacs at Chomper's silly display of bravery. Chomper then sighed in defeat. Cera then tried to charge at the jackals but they dodged her with ease. Cera kept trying but she couldn't hit the jackals. They were not as fast as Sonic but fast enough to avoid Cera's charges. One jackal then took out a knife. Cera gasped and moved out of the way just as the jackal hit the ground with his knife. The jackal bared his teeth and pulled his knife loose. The other jackals also revealed their weapons. Some had knifes as well or even swords. They closed in on the kids. The kids shook in fear. Suddenly, the jackals got hit by something. Something was punching them. One jackal got knocked out and then another. Some kind of force was defending the kids. The jackals didn't see anyone though. The last 2 jackals swung their knives at the air a few times but got nothing. Both jackals growled.
"Where are you?!" yelled a jackal. Something replied with, "Right behind you."
"Huh?" said a jackal. The last 2 then got knocked out. The kids looked around but saw nothing. Who helped them? Suddenly, some wind moved in a circle and a Mobian appeared. It was revealed to be Espio. The kids smiled.
"Thanks for helping us!" exclaimed Littlefoot.
"Of course" Espio said while in a ninja stance.
"How did you do that?" asked Cera.
"How were you there but not really there?" asked Ruby.
"As a ninja, I can become invisible to my enemy. So they can never see me coming" said Espio. Some of the kids let out, "Wow."
Suddenly, another jackal jumped at the kids. He had a spiked club in his hand. The kids gasped when they saw the jackal coming fast. Espio then tried to help but another jackal jumped in front of him. The kids ducked down as the jackal came close. But then suddenly, another Mobian kicked the jackal away. The kids then stood up and saw that it was Jet. The green hawk then beat the jackal and threw his weapon away. Jet then crossed his arms.
"It's not nice picking on the little ones" said Jet. The kids were surprised at Jet.
"You're helping us?" asked Cera. The Three-Horn couldn't decide if she was happy or confused at why Jet helped them. Jet then looked at the kids.
"Hey, I may be a professional thief but I'm not a monster" said Jet.
Littlefoot then smiled. "Well, thanks for your help."
Jet then nodded. "Don't mention it."
The others then fought some more jackals. Sonic then faced Razor. Razor tried to hit Sonic with his sword but Sonic was faster. Razor wouldn't give up though. He kept trying to hit Sonic. Razor then dodged Sonic's kick. Razor then swung his sword and Sonic ducked just in time. The sword almost hit Sonic. Sonic then countered with a Homing Attack. Razor kept trying but Sonic kept dodging. Sonic then landed a kick and Razor fell to the ground. Razor then panted for a few moments. The leader then got back up. But then the rest of Mobians stood by Sonic. Razor's eyes went wide.
"Ready to call it quits?" Sonic said with a grin. Razor then glared at Sonic.
"Fine, you win this time. But this isn't over. I'll be back. (Looks at the rest of the Squad) Jackal Squad, retreat!" shouted Razor. The jackals then ran off and disappeared from sight. The kids then ran to Sonic and the others. The kids thanked Sonic and the others. The Mobians nodded. The Rogues were surprised because they haven't been thanked much in their lives, but they accepted it. Sonic then said that they should head back. The others nodded. However, Jet then told Sonic that the World Grand Prix is coming up and he'd better be ready for the next race. Sonic then nodded and said that he'll be ready. The Rogues then got their hover boards and zoomed off. Tails then drove the kids back to Tails' house. The other Mobians went their own ways while Knuckles and Tails followed Sonic back. It was now getting close to sunset. The kids had some more fruits and vegetables for dinner, and Chomper ate some more meat. After some time, night had fallen. The kids slept on some pillows Tails got for them. The kids all got ready for some rest. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles slept beside them. They had quite an adventure in Metron City.
Next Day…
Sonic then opened a portal and brought the kids back home. Sonic then told the kids that he'll be back. Sonic then went through the portal and the portal vanished. The kids then told their parents about their adventure on Mobius.
On the day of the World Grand Prix…
Sonic and his 2 buddies got their hover boards ready and met the Rogues at the great race. Amy and Shadow joined the race while Cream, Cheese, and the Chaotix watched the race. The racers got ready.
3… 2… 1… GO!
The racers zoomed off on the course. Sonic and Jet looked at each other and nodded. They zoomed off. Only time will tell who won this great race.
