Sorry for another long delay, had some more things going on. I had to get a new laptop which is why I took a little longer. I should've mentioned this sooner but better late than never. The reason I use the Sonic X photos is me picturing Sonic in the LBT world and not using his Sonic X personality. And also, yes. I'm using the old Sonic voices, which in my opinion, were the best!

(Series Intro)
Chapter 7: The Log Game
It was another beautiful day in the Great Valley. Tria and Topps were looking for some tree sweets. Cera and Tricia followed. Tria then said that she wanted some of the yellow pear like tree sweets. Topps then knocked some down by ramming a fruit tree. Nearly all the tree sweets fell to the ground. Some splattered on Topps' snout. One then landed on Topps' horn. Topps then walked over to Tria.
"For you, my dear" Topps said with a smile.
Tria smiled and laughed a little. "Oh, thank you Topsy."
Tria and Topps nuzzled each other's snouts. Tria then ate the fruit. Cera had a disgusted look at the display of romance.
Cera rolled her eyes. "Ugh. Grownups."
Topps shook off some fruit juice. Topps then knocked down some more tree sweets for Cera and Tricia.
Topps then looked at Cera with a smile. "You see Cera. Three-Horns can do anything they set their mind to and be the best at it."
Cera felt happy by her father's encouragement, but she felt some doubt too though.
"Do you really mean it daddy?" asked Cera.
"Of course I do" said Topps. Tricia then came over and rubbed on Topps' foot while giggling a little.
"Well, I'm glad someone believes me" said Topps.
Cera felt a little upset, wondering if her dad was right. Topps noticed Cera's sad expression. Topps then walked over to her daughter.
"Oh Cera. You're a Three-Horn. So be proud because we're among the best of the herd" said Topps.
Cera cheered up a little. "Really, daddy?"
Topps nodded. He then reminded her daughter that Three-Horns are also the toughest of the herd. Cera started to feel better.
Cera then smiled. "You're right daddy. We can do anything we set our mind to."
Topps nodded and nuzzled her daughter. Cera then played with Tricia a little.
Meanwhile, Ducky was trying to reach for a tree sweet by some water. The water was shallow. She couldn't reach it because she was still pretty small.
"I do not think I can reach it but I will try. I will" Ducky said to herself. She jumped a few times but still couldn't reach the fruit.
Ducky sighed. "It is too high."
Ducky then thought that she needs something to stand on. She looked around and spotted a small log in the water. She then walked over and pushed the log over to the fruit. She climbed on the log and reached for the tree sweet. But the log started to roll. Ducky tried to stay on the log but she lost her balance and fell in the shallow water. Ducky felt a little upset but she wouldn't let it get the best of her.
"No, no, no. I can do this. I can" said Ducky. She then climbed back on the log to try again. She stood still for a moment, but the log started to roll again. She walked fast to stay balanced.
"Stop log. Stop, stop" Ducky said as she kept walking faster. But the log started to roll faster. Ducky then started running. She saw that she was still on the log and didn't fall off. She felt surprised.
"I am not falling. I am running" Ducky said as her expression turned from surprise to happiness.
"Go log. Go, go, go" Ducky said as she continued running. Someone then walked over to Ducky.
"That looks fun" said a voice. Ducky then let out "Huh?" She tried to keep her balance but she slipped, and fell backwards in the shallow water. She got up and wiped some water off. She saw that the voice belonged to Tails.
Tails then rubbed the back of his head. "Um, sorry about that. I kinda broke your concentration."
Ducky then smiled. "Oh, it's ok Tails. I was trying to reach the tree sweet but it was too high. So, I found this log and used it to try to get it."
Ducky then explained about the log rolling and showed Tails how she ran on the log. Ducky ran a little faster and the log rolled faster.
Ducky smiled at Tails. "See? This is fun. It is. It is."
Tails also smiled and explained to Ducky that because the log is round like and has no edges, it rolls when something stands on it. Ducky felt surprised.
"But it does look like exciting. It's a good way to challenge yourself" said Tails.
Ducky then stopped and got off the log. She thought for a second. She then gasped and had an idea.
"I know. We can make it a game. To see how fast you can run on the log. And if you can stay on the log" Ducky said with a smile.
Tails then nodded. "That's a great idea Ducky."
"I would call it 'The Log Running' game" added Ducky.
"Sounds good to me" said Tails. Tails and Ducky then walked back to find their friends. Tails and Knuckles came along with Sonic. Both Tails and Knuckles decided that they should spend some more time with the kids since both Mobians are growing quite fond of them. And the kids even treat them like family since Sonic is like a big brother to the kids. Ducky then said that she wanted to show them a new game that she thought of. The group followed Ducky to the shallow water. She grabbed 2 other logs with her log. She then explained about her game.
"First, you get on the log. This is the hard part" Ducky explained as she carefully climbed on the log. "Then you stand up. This is the harder part. (Stands up slowly) Then you start walking but do not fall off."
Ducky started to run as the log started to roll fast. She then started to run faster.
Ducky smiled as she had fun. "The faster, the better. Go log, go."
Tails then came in. "So you have to run and stay on the log as long as you can."
Ruby smiled. "Whoa, that looks like fun."
Ducky then got off the log. "It is fun and very easy to learn."
Sonic smiled. "Ducky's pretty good at this game."
Knuckles nodded in reply. Ruby decided to try it out. She grabbed one log in the water.
"I'll try it. So what if I get a little wet" said Ruby.
Chomper then grabbed a log too. "Move over. I'm gonna try too. (Looks at Sonic) Come on Sonic."
Sonic simply shook his head. "I'll sit this one out. Besides, I'd probably beat you guys every time."
The kids thought that Sonic had a point. Afterall, running fast is what Sonic's very good at.
"I'll just watch you guys. How about you Petrie?" Sonic said as he turned his gaze to Petrie.
Petrie felt nervous. "Uh, Petrie not sure. (Looks at Littlefoot) Littlefoot try?"
"OH, no. Not me Petrie" said Littlefoot. Spike let out a confused moan.
"Four-Footers can't run with our feet that close together" said Littlefoot. The young Longneck also said that he'll watch like Sonic.
Sonic looks at his Mobian pals. "How about you guys?"
Tails nodded. "Sure."
Knuckles shrugged. "Eh, why not?"
"But let's wait til the others are done since there are only 3 logs" said Tails. Knuckles nodded in agreement. Ruby tried first. But she lost her balance after a few seconds. Chomper tried next. He climbed on and stood up. He started to run as the log rolled. But Chomper then ran too hard and fell forward into the water. The group laughed a little. Chomper shook some water off and laughed too. Chomper then urged Petrie to really try the game. Petrie then gave in and tried next. He flew and landed on a log, but then he ran really fast when the log started to roll. He then flew off the log and landed.
"Me give up" said Petrie.
Knuckles then hmphed. "Step aside, I'll show you how it's done."
Knuckles then got on a log. He walked slowly as the log rolled. He started to run faster. The log rolled faster. Knuckles then looked at Chomper and Ruby, "See, It's not so hard. Anyone can..."
But before Knuckles could finish, he started to run backwards since he was losing his focus.
"Whoa, whoa, WHOA!" Knuckles exclaimed as he lost his balance and fell backwards into the water. The group laughed a little. Knuckles wiped some water off his face and groaned.
"Guess it's not so easy after all" said Chomper.
"We just need to practice until practice isn't practice anymore" said Ruby.
Chomper nodded. "Yeah, we could get just as good as Ducky or even better."
"Oh, you are not better than me at log running. Oh, no, no, no" said Ducky.
Sonic let out a little laugh. "Yep, Ducky's the master at this game."
Tails then came in. "Let's start practicing then."
The others nodded. Knuckles then knocked down a few old trees and broke off the branches, making 3 more logs for the game.
Ducky smiled. "Thanks Knuckles."
Knuckles nodded with a grin. "No problem."
The group (except Sonic, Littlefoot, and Spike) kept practicing on the logs. Some of the group kept falling off but they kept trying.
Meanwhile in Eggman's ship...
Eggman pondered at the fight he had with Daxter. He remembered that Daxter was a formidable foe.
Flashback...
Daxter had destroyed some robots with his green fire and then destroyed the rest with a rock spell. Daxter formed a giant rock hand that punched or crushed the rest of Eggman's bots. Eggman then saw the metal mess of what was left of his robots. Eggman then stared at Daxter in disbelief. Daxter then crossed his arms and had an arrogant grin on his face.
"Is that truly your best?" asked Daxter. "I thought you were a genius, or are you just a poor excuse for one? How disappointing."
Eggman glared at the arrogant Dome-Head. "Don't get too excited Dome-Head. Those robots were easy. Next time, I'll bring something much stronger that not even you can destroy."
The evil genius then flew back to base. Daxter watched the doctor fly off. His grin didn't fade.
"And I'll be waiting" said Daxter.
Eggman then had an angry expression. "It seems that I underestimated that alien dino. But I'll show him next time. I'm not just some random scientist! I AM a genius! And I will destroy that Dome-Head and that meddlesome hedgehog!"
The evil doctor sent out Ichy to spy on the group once more. Ichy flew from the ship and found the group by a creek.
The group was now getting ready to see who can last on the log the longest. Ducky still proved that she was good. Ducky ran on her log as she watched the others tried to stay on their logs.
"I'm going to win this game" said Chomper.
"Don't count your hatchlings before they hatch Chomper" said Ruby.
"Me agree cause me going to win" said Petrie.
"We'll see about that Petrie" said Tails.
"No way. I'm gonna win this for sure" said Knuckles. The others watched as the log runners kept up the pace.
"Right now, it's hard to tell who's got this" said Sonic.
"Uh huh" agreed Littlefoot. Spike also nodded. Cera then walked by. She wondered what her friends were up to. It looked like some kind of a game.
"Hi guys" said Cera.
"Hey Cera" replied Sonic.
"So, what game is this?" asked Cera.
"The Great Log Running game" answered Littlefoot. "Chomper, Ruby, Petrie, Ducky, Tails, and Knuckles are going to see who can stay on their log the longest. (Smiles) Look at them go."
"So far, Ducky's the best at it. But I decided not to since it would be too easy for me" said Sonic.
"This is a game for Two-Footers, not Four-Footers" added Littlefoot. Cera watched with the others as the competitors kept running. Chomper then lost his balance. Followed by Ruby and Petrie. Tails, Knuckles, and Ducky kept going. Knuckles tried to run harder to show off, but he lost his focus again and fell. Tails and Ducky kept running for awhile. After a few more minutes, Tails and Ducky jumped off.
Sonic raised an eyebrow. "Huh, it looks like a tie."
Ducky smiled at Tails. "You're pretty good at this, Tails. You are."
Tails smiled. "Thanks. You too. But we're gonna have to settle the score for the real game."
Ducky nodded. "Uh huh."
Cera now wanted to try the game since it looked fun. "This game doesn't look so hard."
Littlefoot and Spike let out, "Huh?"
Cera had a prideful grin. "Three-Horns can do anything better than anyone, Two-Footer or Four-Footer. That's a fact."
Cera then jumped in the water and grabbed a log. "Step aside Two-Footers. Let me show you how a REAL champion does it."
Sonic sighed with a smile and shook his head. "There's that attitude of hers again. Here we go" thought Sonic.
Cera climbed on a log but then she fell off. She kept trying but as soon as the log rolled, she fell off again. Cera groaned in frustration since she couldn't stay on the log. She needs something to keep the log steady. She then spotted a large rock in the water. She pushed the log over to the rock. She then climbed on the rock to get on the log. She managed to be steady this time.
"See?" Cera said with a grin. But then, she started to slip since the rock was a little wet and cause of the log rolling again. Cera tried to steady herself but she lost her balance. Her right back leg then slipped the wrong way. Cera fell into the water. She then stood up and let out, "Ow! My ankle!"
The others gasped. Cera then moaned in pain.
"Uh oh" said Knuckles.
"Cera, you okay?" asked Sonic. The others ran over to Cera.
"(Groans) I hurt my ankle" said Cera.
"Let me take a look" said Tails. Tails then examined Cera's right back leg. Tails then saw that Cera's leg was a little swollen. He moved it back and forth a little. Cera winced a little.
"It looks like you twisted your ankle, but you didn't break it" said Tails. The others sighed with relief. Cera sighed too.
"But I don't think you should play anymore, Cera" said Tails.
Cera raised both eyebrows. "What?"
"You're going to have to rest until your leg gets better" said Tails. "You better head back to your nest."
Cera groaned in defeat. "Okay."
Knuckles then came in. "Here, I'll carry you."
Cera nodded. Knuckles then picked up Cera and walked out of the water. Knuckles carried Cera back to her nest. The group didn't know that Ichy saw the whole thing. Eggman then smiled evilly. The mean doctor then told Ichy to fly back. The metal bird then flew back. Eggman was planning another attack.
The others watched as Knuckles carried Cera away. The other kids got a little worried.
"Poor Cera" said Ducky.
Sonic had a small smile. "Oh, don't worry. She'll be alright."
"It looks like this game is definitely not for the Four-Footers" said Tails. The others agreed. They started to practice some more.
Meanwhile, Tria was playing with Tricia. They both played with a little rock. Tria then heard Cera's painful groan. Tria saw Knuckles carrying Cera over. Knuckles then put Cera down gently.
"Cera, what happened?" Tria asked with concern.
Cera had a small smile. "Oh, nothing."
Knuckles rolled his eyes. "Well, something happened. Cera got hurt."
Tria let out a small gasp. Even Tricia looked worried.
Knuckles had a small smile. "But don't worry, she'll be fine. She's tough."
Knuckles then rubs Cera's head a little. Cera smiled back.
"Thanks for the help, Knuckles. (Knuckles nods) See you back at the watering hole" said Cera.
Knuckles shrugged. "If you say so. But you might wanna take it easy."
Knuckles then walked back to the others. Tria then looked at Cera with a serious expression.
"Okay, tell me. How did you get hurt?" said Tria.
"I slipped off a log. But it's no big deal" said Cera.
Tria looked at Cera's back leg. It was still a little swollen.
"Oh, yes it is. Your leg is swollen" said Tria. Tria then walked over to some trees and grabbed a few leaves. She came back over and put the leaves on Cera's back leg.
"Here, these will ease the pain" said Tria. Tria then told Tricia to bring some mud to help as well. Tricia then let out some happy mumbles, and ran to grab some mud. Cera said that she would be fine and she wants to get back to the log running. But Tria then said that she needs to rest and wait for her ankle to get better. Tricia then grabbed some mud with her small horn. She brought the mud over to Cera. But the little Three-Horn then tripped and fell on her tummy. She then stood back up and shook her head. But she threw the mud and got it all over Cera.
Cera groaned as she wiped the mud off her face. "I didn't ask for a mud bath."
Tricia then let out a small laugh. Cera sighed as she wiped some more mud off. Tria then put some of the mud on the leaves. The mixture helped soothe Cera's ankle.
Back with the others, the log runners were still running. Chomper then looked at Littlefoot.
"Maybe you and Spike can try it Littlefoot" said Chomper.
Littlefoot shook his head. "Oh, no. Not us Chomper. You saw what happened to Cera."
Chomper then felt upset. "Oh, right."
Sonic then came in. "But you guys are doing good."
The others agreed and kept up the game. Ruby then fell, followed by Petrie and then Knuckles. Tails, Ducky, and Chomper kept going.
Back at Cera's nest...
Cera then stood up and shook off the muddy stuff from her back leg since it was dry. Cera moved her back ankle a little. She felt a little better.
"Well, it feels pretty good. Thanks for helping" said Cera. Cera started to walk back to her friends but Tria then came in.
"Are you sure your ankle's ok?" said Tria.
Cera stopped and rolled her eyes. "I'm sure. Time to win that log running game. It'll be so easy."
"If it's so easy, how did you hurt your ankle?" said Tria.
"Accidents happen. But I can handle it. I'm a Three-Horn after all" said Cera. Cera then played with Tricia a little.
"That's what I'm afraid of" said Tria. Topps then came over since he overheard his mate. Tria then told Topps that Cera hurt her ankle. Topps then said that Cera will be fine and that it takes a lot more than a bad ankle to keep a Three-Horn down. Cera then said that she's ready to tackle that log game.
Topps raised an eyebrow. "Log game? What log game?"
"My friends are playing a log running game. And I'm gonna win" Cera said with a prideful grin.
"What exactly is log running?" said Topps. Cera then explained the game by climbing on a log nearby.
"You get on a log in the water and start running. And the log spins as you run. You have stay on the log as long as you can without falling. It's easy" said Cera. But the log Cera was standing on almost rolled and Cera had to steady herself.
"Now why would you want to do something silly like that?" said Topps.
"To prove that Three-Horns can do anything they set their mind to. And be the best at it. Just like you said, dad" said Cera. Topps felt a little embarrassed by what he told Cera. Topps then said that although that it's true that Three-Horns can do anything but log running isn't one of them.
Cera raised both eyebrows. "But dad, you said Three-Horns can do anything."
"Yes, just NOT that" said Topps. Topps started to walk away while saying, "You can forget playing that game, Cera. Some things are just not meant to be."
Cera had a very upset look but then it turned into anger. Cera then let out an angry groan and walked away. She walked alone for some time while knocking away some pebbles and small branches in her way. She then got mad because of what her dad said. She then broke a medium rock to pieces. She then felt really upset. She walked by another watering hole. She looked at her reflection but then frowned, and jumped on her reflection in the water with an angry grunt.
"What do I do now?" Cera told herself. She thought for a moment as she stared at her reflection in the water. She then thought of what to do.
"There's only one thing to do" said Cera. "I gotta prove to everyone that I can win that log running game."
Back at the watering hole...
The group was getting ready for the main game. They were done practicing. The others steadied on their logs. Littlefoot was about to announce the game.
"Okay everyone. On your mark... Get set... (The others had determined looks) GO!" Littlefoot exclaimed. The players started running fast on their logs. Petrie was the first to fall since he wasn't set. The others kept running. Littlefoot then said that everyone practiced pretty good. Suddenly, someone yelled out, "Hold it! Stop the game!"
All the players, except Ducky and Tails, lost their focus and fell off. Ducky and Tails looked at each other.
"Who yelled?" said Tails.
"I do not know Tails. I do not" said Ducky. Tails and Ducky then jumped off their logs. The others then saw that it was Cera who yelled.
"What's the fuss Cera?" said Sonic.
"Because you guys started without me. But the game doesn't count unless I'm playing too" said Cera.
"But Cera, what about your ankle?" said Littlefoot.
"Yeah, I don't think that you should..." started Sonic.
Cera interrupted with a frown. "My ankle's fine."
Cera then grabbed one of the logs and tried to climb on. But she kept falling off.
Knuckles shrugged. "Well, we have no winner yet. But I don't think you should play Cera."
"You did get hurt last time" added Tails.
"Besides, it's just a game. It's no biggie" said Sonic. Cera still insisted.
"It's NOT just a game. I'll show you that I can do it" said Cera. She then kept trying to climb on the log but she would still fall off. As she kept falling off, she was moving to deeper water. She didn't pay attention as she started to get too close to the river current. The water started to push the log. Cera managed to get on top of the log and stay on it. The others raised both eyebrows.
"Watch out Cera. You're getting too close to the Fast Water" said Littlefoot.
Cera frowned. "I can handle it. I'M a Three-Horn."
Cera tried to paddle back to the others, but the current was getting stronger. She couldn't paddle back. The current started to push her farther down the river. She was getting farther and farther away.
Cera raised both eyebrows. "Uh oh."
The others had serious expressions. Cera was caught in the river current.
"That's not good" said Knuckles.
"We have to help her, or she'll end up going over Roaring Falls" said Littlefoot. Sonic then had a plan.
"Ruby, Chomper, Ducky. You guys use your logs to catch up with Cera. The rest of us will follow another way" said Sonic. The others nodded.
Ruby had a determined expression. "Right. Let's get moving and go."
"Fast Water log runners to the rescue" Chomper said with courage.
The 3 kids paddled to get to Cera. But before the others could follow, something was flying towards them. Littlefoot then saw some kind of white and blue energy ball coming towards them.
"Guys, look out!" shouted Littlefoot. The others saw the ball coming fast. But they were too late as the ball hit Littlefoot, Spike, and Sonic. They were instantly frozen in ice except their heads. Tails and Knuckles gasped. They heard an evil laugh. They looked up and saw Eggman. Along with Ichy. The evil doctor had some kind of freeze ray on his hover ride. Ichy carried his own small freeze gun with his feet. The Mobians glared at Eggman.
Eggman had a dark grin. "I just thought that you guys need to 'chill out.'"
Ichy grinned. "Anyone up for frozen rats?"
Sonic, Littlefoot, and Spike couldn't break free from the ice. Petrie flew to avoid an ice ball shot by Ichy. Tails and Knuckles got ready to fight Eggman.
"You guys go help Cera" said Sonic.
"But what about you guys?" said Tails.
"We'll be fine. Just go" said Sonic. Tails and Knuckles nodded.
Petrie felt nervous. "What about you Littlefoot?"
"It's ok. Go and help Cera" said Littlefoot. Petrie then replied, "Okay."
Tails, Knuckles, and Petrie then avoided more ice blasts from Eggman and followed down the river.
"You won't win this Egg..." started Sonic. But before Sonic could finish, Ichy then shot another ice blast at Sonic, Littlefoot, and Spike. They were frozen completely.
Ichy frowned. "That's enough out of you, rodent."
"Come on, let's get the others" said Eggman. Ichy nodded. Both bad guys flew after the others. Tails and Petrie then flew up to find Cera. Knuckles followed quickly behind.
Back at Cera's nest...
Topps then noticed that Cera was missing. He looked around but he didn't see her. Topps looked at Tria.
"Tria, have you seen Cera?" asked Topps.
Tria shook her head. "No dear."
Topps then hmphed. "I'm going to look for her. If she's gone to play that silly log running game after I told her not to, I'll..."
"I know, I know" said Tria. "You're going to be very upset. But all kids do silly things. Remember Topsy, you were young once too."
Topps looked confused. "I was? Huh."
Tria then sighed. Topps then walked to find Cera.
Meanwhile, the river carried Cera farther down. She was getting close to a waterfall. She then saw 3 of her friends following on their logs.
"Chomper, Ruby, Ducky! Can't you guys hurry up!" exclaimed Cera.
"We would if we could go faster!" Ruby shouted.
"Maybe you could try going a little slower!" shouted Chomper.
Cera frowned and said to herself, "Like I haven't been trying."
"Just hold on Cera!" shouted Chomper.
"Help! Help!" shouted Cera. Tails and Petrie then saw Cera going faster down the river. Topps then heard Cera's screams.
"That was Cera" stated Topps. He ran to the river. He saw her going faster. He then saw Tails and Petrie fly by. Knuckles then ran by too. Tails and Knuckles stopped, and looked at Topps.
"Cera's headed to the Roaring Falls. We have to help her" Tails said with determination.
"Then that's we're going" Topps said with a tough expression. Tails and Knuckles nodded.
"We must hurry" said Petrie. The others ran down the river. Topps knocked down a few trees that stood in his way. Topps and the 2 Mobians made it to the falls. They had to find a way to rescue Cera. They then saw a very large moss-covered rock, right by the end of river.
"That large rock could block the river and save Cera from the Falls" said Tails.
"Let's knock it down then" said Topps. Tails and Knuckles nodded. But before they could do anything, another ice blast hit nearby. Topps and the 2 Mobians saw Eggman and Ichy. Eggman then aimed his ice blaster at them. The 3 beings glared at Eggman.
"One order of frozen meddlers coming up" Eggman said with a laugh. Tails then looked at Topps and Knuckles.
"I'll handle Eggman, you guys push the rock" said Tails. Topps and Knuckles both replied, "Right."
Tails then flew upwards to get Eggman's attention. He then told Petrie to help distract Eggman. Petrie then replied with a nervous "Okay."
Eggman and Ichy shot ice blasts at the 2 Flyers while Topps and Knuckles pushed the rock hard. At first, the rock only budged a little but then it was just about to fall.
Cera then fell off her log but Chomper and Ruby caught her in time. The big rock then fell over and blocked the river. The others then managed to get to shore safely. Topps then scooped his daughter out of the water. They then saw that the current started to push the big rock loose. The big rock then fell into the deep water below. The kids sighed in relief. The others then saw Tails and Petrie fighting Eggman. Petrie tried to poke Eggman's eyes again. Eggman then groaned angrily and backhanded Petrie away. Eggman then shot another ice blast at Tails but Tails avoided it. Ichy then shot and hit Tails' tails. His tails were frozen. Tails cried out as he fell. Topps then caught Tails on his back. Eggman now aimed his ice blaster at the other kids. The other kids gasped in fear. Eggman then shot an ice ball at them. But Knuckles got in the way and the ice hit both his hands. But Knuckles broke the ice off with little effort. Petrie then tried to peck at Ichy. Ichy then growled and fired another blast. Petrie barely avoided it. Ichy was going to make sure he didn't miss this time. But then suddenly, a large rock hit Ichy and the metal bird fell to the ground. Knuckles had thrown the rock. Ichy dropped his ice ray. Knuckles and Tails looked at each other. They both smiled and nodded. Tails then grabbed the ice ray and pointed it at Eggman. The mean doctor tried to freeze Petrie.
"Hey Baldy!" shouted Knuckles. Eggman then looked at Knuckles with a frown. He saw Tails aiming Ichy's freeze ray at him.
"Huh?" Eggman said as his eyes went wide.
"What don't you 'chill out'?" Knuckles said with a smile. Tails then shot an ice ball at Eggman. The mean doctor didn't react in time. The ice ball hit Eggman in the face. His moustache was frozen solid. Eggman then shook since he felt cold. He hugged himself and his teeth chattered. Knuckles then laughed.
"Hey look everyone! Eggman's now an Eggcicle" said Knuckles. The group then laughed. Ichy then got back up and flew. Eggman then tried to use his blaster again but then Tails used his arm blaster on the ice blaster and destroyed it. Knuckles then jumped and hit the hover craft. Eggman's hover craft was severely damaged. Eggman pounded his vehicle with his fists. He then pointed a finger at the group.
"T-T-This isn't over. I-I-I'll get you n-next time!" exclaimed Eggman. Knuckles then crushed the other ice blaster. Eggman and Ichy then flew back to base. Knuckles then broke the ice on Tails' tails. Tails felt much better as he swayed his 2 tails. Cera then looked at the group.
"Thanks for saving me guys" said Cera. The 2 Mobians and the 4 kids nodded. Topps, however, had a frown. Cera then felt upset.
"I'm sorry I disobeyed you daddy" said Cera.
"You better be. (Smiles) But I'm so glad that you're alright" said Topps. Cera then smiled. The group then headed back to the watering hole. Knuckles then freed Sonic, Littlefoot, and Spike from their ice bonds with a strong punch. The ice then broke apart. Sonic and the 2 kids shook themselves a little.
"Thanks Knuckles" said Sonic. Knuckles nodded. Tails then told Sonic and the 2 kids how the group saved Cera and stopped Eggman. Sonic gave them a thumbs-up and told them they did a good job. The other kids each replied with a "Thanks." Ducky then looked at Cera.
"We didn't finish our game. Do you still want to play?" asked Ducky.
Cera shook her head. "No thank you."
Topps chuckled a little. Sonic patted Cera's head.
"It looks like you learned your lesson huh?" Sonic said with a smile.
Cera had an prideful smirk. "Lesson? Ha! I don't have anything to prove. After all, I stayed on my log all the way down the Fast Water."
Tails shrugged. "Well, she did."
"Yep, I sure did" said Cera. Cera then walked one way but she didn't watch where she stepped, and she slipped off a log into the water. The group then laughed. Cera shook the water off.
"I meant to do that" said Cera. The group laughed again, and Cera joined in. The others then played the log game again. Topps, Cera, and the others watched the runners. The group wondered who would win but Ducky and Tails were pretty good.
