Authors Note: I already did the description's of Kevin, Gwen, Julie, and Ship in the last chapter so I'm not doing it again in this chapter.
Chapter 2. Plumbers vs Cons
(Ten minutesearlier)
In the Canadian wilderness, four teens were lying knocked out and in a heap. One was boy with brown hair, white skin, and greens eyes behind closed eyelids. His clothes were black and white converse-style shoes, blue jeans, a short-sleeve black t-shirt, and a green jacket with a white stripe going down horizontally on the left side. A black circle was on the white stripe with the number ten emboldened into it in white.
This was Ben Tennyson. Holder of the Ultimatrix. The successor of the Omnitrix before it was destroyed.
Ben let out a groan as he was coming around. When he finally woke up he waited for his vision to clear up. As soon as it did he noticed trees and bushes.
At first he wondered if he was on Earth or a planet that resembled his home planet. He heard some noises from the bushes. When looked to where the sound came from he saw a squirrel coming out with some acorns in its mouth.
As the little critter scurried along, no doubt to find more food or head back home, Ben gave a sigh of relief as he mentally thanked the squirrel for its arrival.
It was then he heard some other groans. Looking behind him he saw his friends were also starting their get up.
Ben went over to Julie and helped her on her feet while asking in worry "Julie are you and Ship okay?"
"Ugh, yeah I think so." Julie answered feeling the head was getting better.
"Ship. Ship." the bracelet said with its green stripes flashing with every word it spoke.
"Glad to hear you're doing ok too little buddy." Ben said with a smile.
As Kevin helped Gwen to her feet he said sarcastically "Oh yeah we're good too Tennyson. Thanks for asking by the way."
"Let's not Kevin. My still hurts a bit." Gwen says not wanting to deal with any further complications.
"Well good news is we're on Earth. Bad news is I have no idea on where it is." Ben said with a shrug.
"Well why not call grandpa Max?" Gwen suggested with a raised eyebrow.
Ben stared at her for a minute before he pulled up his Ultimatrix with a sheepish look. Julie of course just giggled at her boyfriend's goofiness.
(AN: I know Ben and Julie broke up but I'm keeping them together in this story. Plus the whole Ben/Arcee romance thing was done in Ben 10: Prime Force. So no way am I using someone's idea.)
"Hey grandpa? It's Ben. Do you know where we are?" Ben asked into the comm unit of the Ultimatrix.
He only received static which confused him as the Ultimatrix, like the Omnitrix, had the best communications tech built into it.
"Ok that's weird." Kevin said also confused.
"Let me try something." Gwen said pulling out her Plumber badge. "Hello? This is Gwen Tennyson to any Plumber bases. Does anyone read?"
All she received was static as well. Now everyone was starting to get a little worried. The group pulled out their phones and started calling their families.
Only for the phones to say 'The number you are trying to does not exist'.
"Guys? I'm getting a little worried." Julie says her face matching the tone in her voice.
Kevin looked at Ben and asked "Are you sure we're on Earth Ben?"
"Yes. I practically saw a squirrel come out the bushes and run off before you guys came out of it." Ben said with certainty.
"Then why aren't we able to call grandpa or any Plumber bases?" Gwen asked before she continued "And more importantly; why aren't we able to call our families?"
The group was silent for a bit until-
BOOM!
Everyone jumped upon hearing an explosion not far from their position.
"What was that?" Gwen asked in surprise.
What came next was the sound of blaster fire.
"If I were to guess I'd say that sounds like a fight going on?" Kevin said knowing the sounds of explosions and blasters firing all too well.
"But who's fighting and why?" Julie asked with Ship getting ready to cover his friend in his armor mode.
"Only one way to find out." Ben said as he goes to where the fighting is happening. The others follow after him.
A few minutes later they came across the battlefield and what they saw shocked them.
Giant robots were duking it out with each other. Or well one group of the giant robots was fighting the other.
One side had four robots. The first was red, blue, silver on the stomach area, and had blue eyes. The feet were like boots, the stomach area had silver, and the head was like a helmet complete with some battle mask. On the legs were four tires.
The second one was green on the torso, helmet head, arms, and stubby legs. The shoulders and waist were black while on the back and feet were tires. The mouth area was silver. And like the first this one had blue eyes.
The third was black, yellow, and silver in the stomach area. Under the shoulder pads were tire wheels and near the feet. This one also had blue eyes but no mouth. And what looked like doors were on his back like wings. The knees looked sharp jutting upward.
The fourth and last one looked more smaller and feminine than the rest. She was blue, black, and silver near the stomach area and chest area. She and the third had white faces. Like the others also had blue eyes.
(AN: My mistake with the other chapter was that I didn't put in an exact number of Decepticons the Autobot's were fighting. So just think of them having twenty on their side.)
The other group numbering twenty all were black, purple, and gray. They all had red visors with no pupils.
"Whoa! A robot death match." Kevin said finding the fight amazing.
"You guys have been fighting aliens long before meeting me. Do you know what these things are?" Julie asked Ben.
"Honestly Julie, I wish I had the answer to that." Ben said keeping his eyes on the fight.
So far the four robots were holding their own quite well. The red and blue robot was fighting three purple bots, the blue one was showing that despite her size she can hold her own against two, the yellow was, to the surprise of the four, fighting a bot with boxing moves, and the green one proved to be the heavy hitter as he sent purple bot after purple bot away.
Kevin commented with a smirk "I got ten on the green guy."
"Kevin really?" Gwen says to her boyfriend in disbelief.
"Ben who do you think are the good guys?" Julie asked while ignoring Kevin.
"I have no idea. A part of me wants to take part but we have no idea who's the bad guy. Our best bet would be to wait and see." Ben says not wanting to help the wrong side.
Kevin then noticed something that would help his friend come to a decision. "Uh Ben?"
The emerald eyed hero saw his friend pointing at something. Following his finger Ben saw two kids hiding behind a rock. One a boy who looked to be 16 years old and the other was a girl who looked 15 years old.
But that wasn't what Kevin was trying to tell him. One of the purple bots snuck up on the two and was about to shoot them.
He heard the green robot shout "Miko!" which was no doubt the name of the girl. He saw the bots who were try and fight their way to them but it's clear that they wouldn't make it in time.
With eyes narrowed in determination Ben said to his team "Everyone it's hero time!"
The others shared the same facial expression. Kevin touched the rock they were behind and absorbed its matter becoming stone himself.
Gwen's hands shined in pink mana and Ship covered Julie in his battle armor.
As for Ben he activated the Ultimatrix and chose one of his most durable aliens. After the dial popped up he slammed it down and he felt himself transform.
"HUMONGOUSAUR!"
(AN: All of the names of Ben's transformations will used whenever he turns into them."
Fortunately the bright green light was unnoticed by the bots as they were more focused on each other.
Humongousaur then picked up the boulder they were hiding behind and chucked it at the bot. Taking its head off in the process.
That caused the fighting to cease as all bots looked at where the boulder came from.
Humongousaur then said in a growled "Who else wants some?!"
The purple then shifted their focus on Humongousaur and his team. They all got out of the way of the blaster fire just before they could reach them.
Humongousaur grew bigger as he advanced on the purple bots. He was peppered by the laser blasts but they weren't even slowing him down. They were more like harmless bee stings.
As he reached them he began punching every bit that got in his way. Two he grabbed by the heads and slammed them down into the ground. Killing them in the process.
Julie took to the air and began raining laser blasts down onto the giant purple bots. Thankfully they were powerful enough to take them out. At least with ten shots a piece. She would also perform aerial maneuvers to dodge in coming fire.
Kevin used the distraction Humongousaur caused and began using his strength to knock down some bots by going for their legs. Gwen would shoot mana blasts at the downed bots. Aiming mostly for their heads.
Of course Kevin later switched it up when absorbed the metal from the purple bots. Replacing his stone skin with metal. With this he could cause more damage with his rocky hands chipping away and breaking.

The Autobot's were shocked by what they were seeing. An unknown creature along with three humans were taking down many Decepticon troopers with ease. Even Miko and Jack were completely lost on what they were seeing.
Bulkhead then voiced his question "Are you guys seeing what I'm seeing?"
"Seeing it? Bulk I'm having trouble believing it." Arcee says while watching the battle.
"Who are they and how are they able to do all that?" Bumblebee asked his leader.
"A question for another time. For now we must press the attack while the Decepticon's are in disarray." Optimus says before issuing his orders "Arcee. Bumblebee. You two go secure Jack and Miko. Bulkhead you're with me."
With that Arcee and Bumblebee made their way to Jack and Miko.
Jack, having noticed his partner and Bumblebee, said in relief "Arcee."
While she was glad her human partner wasn't harmed that didn't mean she wasn't mad. Which she made clear when she asked "What could you have possibly been thinking?!"
Jack gave the femme a sour look as he pointed at Miko, who was too engrossed in the fight to pay attention and was taking pictures of the whole thing.
It didn't take long for Arcee to connect the dots as she gave the rock n roll loving girl a dirty look.

Back in the fight Ben just took down three more Decepticons until he saw a blue bolt of energy flew past him and hit one that tried to sneak up on him.
Looking at where the shot came from he saw that it Optimus that fired the shot. (Not that he knows his name.) He just gave a nod before going back into the fight.
Kevin and Gwen was joined by Bulkhead as the Wrecker slammed into two troopers that were gonna try and take out the latter.
While surprised by the save at first Gwen returned the favor by downing two other troopers by sending a stream of mana into their sparks.
Bulkhead looked impressed as he gave the young woman a nod of gratitude.
The few surviving Decepticon's chose to cut their losses and retreat.
Once they were gone, the Autobot's and Humongousaurs team gave each other looks as to wonder what to do next.
"THAT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!"
The tension was broken when a certain Japanese guitar player ran up to the Plumber's and began firing off question after question. No one knew what to say as they stared at girl with a motormouth.
(AN: I honestly have no idea what questions Miko would ask despite seeing the show from start to last. And I'm sorry for the fight scene not having much action.)
Thankfully they were saved when the other teen came over and dragged her away.
Optimus then spoke to young humans and their reptilian friend "We thank you for not only coming to our aid but also saving our human friends."
"No problem. That's what heroes do." Humongousaur says while Miko exclaimed "I knew it!" in the background.
"You're heroes?" Arcee asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh yeah? Don't you know who I am?" Humongousaur asked in confusion.
"Should we?" Arcee fired back.
That got the Tennyson team's attention as they were certain they knew Ben since he's quite famous. Not only on Earth but also in space.
"Ok how about we start over and introduce ourselves to each other?" Gwen suggested before she decided to go first "My name is Gwen Tennyson."
Her boyfriend was next "Names Kevin Levin."
"Hi my names Julie Yamamoto." Julie says as Ship reverts to his canine form. "And this is Ship." she says holding the techno organic who responds by saying his name. "Ship. Ship. Ship. Ship."
The Autobot's were shocked as this was a first for them. Miko of course went back over and gushed over the little blog.
"Aww he's so cute." Miko said as she pets Ship. Who in turn leans into her touch.
"Heh looks like Ships made a friend." Julie says not the least bit upset.
Optimus then turns the transformed teen and asks in his baritone voice "And you are?"
Humongousaur just gives the Prime a look and saids "Are you serious?" He then presses the Ultimatrix dial and reverts back to his human form.
"I'm Ben Tennyson. Everyone knows who I am." Ben says with his arms spread.
But instead the Autobot's, Jack, and Miko were just shocked by what they saw. Gone was the alien dinosaur and in his place was a teen boy who was the same age as Jack.
"What in the name of Primus?!" Bulkhead asked in shock.
Miko was looking like a kid in a candy store. First she meets giant alien robots and now four teens with superpowers.
After getting over his shock Optimus says "I am sorry but we have no recollection of ever meeting you. Or hearing about you."
"Same could be said for us. This is the first time we've met you and it's the first time we've humans with superpowers." Jack said while indicating Miko and himself.
Now Ben and his team were even more worried.
'Never heard of me? But that's impossible! Unless-' Ben thought until his eye widened upon coming to a conclusion. And judging from the facial expressions of Gwen and Kevin they must've figured it out as well.
Julie noticed the looks on their faces and asked "You guys know the answer, don't you?"
"Honestly I wish was wrong." Ben said with sadness in his voice.
The Autobot's noticed the downtrodden look on the three youths faces. Before any could say anything Miko beat them to the punch.
"Hey I got an idea. Why not bring them back to base?" Miko suggested getting the attention of Team Prime and Jack.
"What?! No way! Do have any idea how reckless that sounds?" Arcee asks.
"Why not? They saved me, Jack, and you guys. If they were bad guys they would've just let that Con scorch me and Jack." Miko pointed out.
"Which wouldn't have nearly happened if you stayed back at base where it was safe." Arcee argues back making the foreign exchange student wince as it was her fault she and Jack almost got killed.
As the blue two wheeler was ripping into Miko Optimus thought about what Bulkhead's charge said. And while he couldn't deny that Arcee was right to be cautious that didn't mean he wasn't grateful for their actions in saving not only their human friends but also his Autobot's. Plus they were in need of answers.
"I believe bringing them back to base would be best." Optimus said surprising his troops and Jack while Miko gave an excited "Yes!".
"Optimus you can't be serious!" Arcee says to her leader.
"We are in need of answers as to who they are and how they were able to do what they did. And I believe they too are in need of answer's." Optimus said before continuing "And besides some of the Decepticon's got away which means they will report their existence and try to hunt them down. Plus we owe them for saving Miko and Jack."
Arcee looked like she didn't agree to this but she knew what the Prime said was true.
Optimus then turned to Ben and his team. "We are returning to our base and we were wondering if you like to come with us."
That surprised the Plumber's greatly as they weren't expecting that. Kevin then asked with suspicion in his voice "And why would you want to help us?"
"I understand your mistrust of us. And I am uncertain if we can trust you but I believe both our groups can help each other out. You want answers and so do we. We will answer your questions so long as you answer ours." Optimus says.
The four gives each other looks for a bit as if in a silent conversation. A few minutes later they all nodded before turning to the Prime.
Ben stepped up and said "Ok we'll come. So long as you're honest with us."
Optimus nodded his helm before contacting the base "Ratchet activate the Ground Bridge."
A moment later a swirling vortex appeared making Ben and his team look surprised. Granted they've seen some portals and the like but this was new.
"What's that?" Gwen asked as she couldn't sense any magic coming from the portal.
"It's a Ground Bridge. We're gonna use this to travel to the Autobot's base. It's a lot faster than walking, driving, and flying." Miko explained before she asked "Btw did any of you guys eat anything?"
"No. Why?" Kevin asked in suspicion.
"Oh no reason." Miko said mischievously.
The others looked at each other before following Team Prime into the Ground Bridge. Unknowing about the adventures that were ahead.
However unknown to both groups that a purple metallic bird was watching from on high. It soon flew back the way the Decepticon's flew.

Authors Note: Sorry if the chapter was bland. Hopefully it will be better in the later chapters. And yes I'll have one of Ben's villains in the later chapters but it won't be Vilgax and it won't be before Megatron reawakens from stasis. Until then please stay safe and stay healthy. Do what you can to beat this summer heat.
P.S. I'm thinking of letting Ben have a Cybertronian transformation but I'm thinking of making him a triple changer like Blitzwing and Springer. If anyone has any better ideas please PM me and I'm thinking of calling him Skyblazer. If anyone has a better name please let me know.
