This is BOTH a 'Continuation' and an 'Alternate Universe' fan-fiction in regards to the characters and events of 'Ranma 1/2' and 'Gold Digger', meaning: the characters WILL be 'Out-of-Character' to one extent or another and that canon events the reader is familiar with may or may not have been altered to a greater or lesser degree. This fan-fiction is also a 'Crossover', combining elements from the two aforementioned sources. For most of the story, we will attempt to adhere closely to canon, in regards to Fred Perry's 'Gold Digger' series, but at some point, events will diverge from canon, and concessions will have to be made for the intermingling of the two base series.
Furthermore, it is 'presumed' that the events of the 'Ranma 1/2' Manga series take place over a span of less than one year, as there is little if any, real indication of the passage of time in canon. Therefore, Ranma and Akane are still freshmen at the time this story begins, while Nabiki and Kunou are juniors.
Timeframe: Right after Battlemage Book 1, Ranma arrives in Paris, France as he was invited to the wedding of Lisette and Jean-Paul. Gold Diggers referenced will become apparent when shown.

Book Two: Journey
Forward
It has been 15 years since I started this story. Book 1 was the hardest thing to write as I didn't have a lot of time to write it like I did when I started Love of a Cheetah. Initially, the story was there, but getting it on digital paper was hard enough that I just didn't have any drive to make it happen. Then things changed, my life expanded, I lost contact with my primary helper and I've been doing things for 10 years now that kept me so busy I didn't have even the time to write. Most of the writing done is on my phone when I have a chance to write it, while other times it's been on a computer.
Still, 15 years is a long time to wait for a story to finish. And this time, the ideas are overflowing, it's now just getting it written up.
Over the course of the next year or so, I'll be putting time into writing up these next 9 chapters to tell the Journey of Ranma as we find out several things about him, and maybe a few things about the universe he plays a part in.
The journey is long, but I'm thankful for those who have followed this story for so long and kept at it. Now we will see what lies ahead of Ranma and the next segment of his adventures in the Gold Digger universe. I present to you Battlemage, Book Two: Journey. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have written it.
