Witch Club

Chapter 3: School Dance

In Lee and Joshua's room, the newly-formed group was still in shock due to the sight of the dragon.

"There are some people waiting for you all, follow me," said the dragon as he flew out of the room, then out of the apartment. The Witch Club kids followed it until they reached the public square and saw a magenta, colored portal. They entered and found themselves transported into a totally different world and outside a giant temple.

"Woah," the freshmen gasped in awe.

"Jay, what is this place?" asked Karsyn.

"Lightrock Monastery," said Jay as he led the others inside. As soon as they saw the dragon again, it disappeared behind two giant doors. When Jay opened the door, the Witch Club found themselves in a giant room shaped like a courtroom with the Winx sitting on one side and their children sitting on the other. In the center sat three familiar faces. It was Ms. Faragonda, Mr. Saladin, and Ms. Griffin. The former headmasters of the three magic schools.

"Hello, children," said Ms. Faragonda, "A pleasure to make your acquaintance. We are the Witches' Council."

Lee was in shock, "The Witches' Council? As in the rulers of the entire Magic Dimension?"

"We don't like to think of ourselves as rulers, but we are…guardians," explained Faragonda.

"Woah," said the kids in awe.

"So," said Saladin, getting down to business, "I suppose you are aware of the situation in Orion."

"Yes, sir," said Lee, Joshua, Taylor, Phillip, and Matt - who were actually told by Brenton, then they put two and two together. Brenton was actually meant to go to Earth and find five kids to bear the Heart of Magix in order to defeat Alchemy, realizing that this was part of a cycle that they knew all too well. After they relayed the story to their friends, they confronted Brenton with the theory.

"It's true," said Brenton, "I was sent to Earth to find you five. Apparently, you've always had those powers inside of you, matching the dragons."

"I don't understand," said Lee.

"That makes five of us," said Matt.

"Allow me to explain," said Griffin, "You five are part of a prophecy created by the dragons. That after they died, they would be reincarnated to the souls of five special fairies who would one day protect the universe from the evils of Princess Alchemy and one day bring the true heir back to Orion. Your mothers bound your powers after you were born to protect you."

"Wait," said Taylor, "Our moms are fairies?"

"Indeed," said Faragonda, "They were even students at Alfea at one point. Your powers were unbound after the crystal made it to Earth."

Saladin spoke up again, "I trust you are all familiar with the Power Rangers." The rest of the group just pointed at Lee, who apparently had knowledge of the Power Rangers that he relayed to them.

Saladin simply smiled, "Well, you five get to be them."

"Say what?!" the boys asked in confusion, when suddenly they realized what the strange gauntlets were.

"These are Morphers, aren't they," asked Taylor.

"Yes," said Griffin, "However, there is still one last thing we must do to activate them."

The Heart of Magix, then, left Lee's neck again producing five different colored spheres. A red sphere surrounded by flames, a green sphere surrounded by leaves, a blue sphere surrounded by water, a yellow sphere surrounded by wind, and a pink sphere surrounded by electricity.

Faragonda, then, approached the spheres and using her powers, she moved the spheres above the five boys.

"Matthew Underwood," said Faragonda, addressing the young man, "With your power over Fire, you shall lead the team as the Red Ranger." The red sphere, then, went into Matt's morpher and engulfed his whole body in flames until he emerged wearing a red jumpsuit with white gloves and boots. He also wore an orange vest with a glowing flame symbol in the center. He wore a gold belt with a picture of the Heart of Magix on the buckle. His helmet was red with black eyes and an orange spike on top of the helmet and his visor is made to resemble the mouth of the fire dragon.

"Phillip Allman," she continued, addressing the other young man, "With your power over Nature, you will be second in command as the Green Ranger" The green sphere went into Phillip's morpher and vines emerged from the ground to cover his body, then he emerges wearing a green jumpsuit with white gloves and boots. He also wore a brown vest with a glowing ring emblem in the center. He wore a gold belt similar to Matt. His helmet looked the same as Matt's, but green with brown eyes and gold spikes and the visor is a different shape, looking similar to the earth dragon.

"Taylor Sprayberry," she continued, addressing the blonde boy, "With your power over Water, you shall be the Blue Ranger." The blue sphere went into Taylor's morpher and his body became surrounded by water, which evaporated to reveal him in a blue jumpsuit with white gloves and boots. His vest was aquamarine with a glowing water droplet symbol in the center. His belt is like Matt's and Phillip's and as was his helmet except blue with aquamarine eyes and sea green fins and his visor is shaped like a water dragon's mouth.

"Joshua Calloway, as you have power over Wind, you will become the Yellow Ranger." The yellow sphere went into Joshua's morpher and his body became surrounded by a tornado, which disappeared to reveal Joshua wearing a yellow jumpsuit with white gloves and boots. His vest was orange with a glowing wind symbol on it. His belt was similar to Matt's, Phillip's, and Taylor's and same with his helmet, but yellow with violet eyes and orange 'antlers' with the visor looking similar to the air dragon's mouth.

"Lee Jones, your power is the one that binds the others and with the crystal you will unite them summoning and magnifying their ranger powers, as such, you will be the one to wield the Heart of Magix as the Pink Ranger." The pink sphere went into Lee's morpher, covering his body with electricity until it disappeared revealing the young boy wearing a pink jumpsuit with white gloves and boots, the vest was white with a glowing lightning bolt symbol in the middle. His belt, matching the older boys', and his helmet was pink with white eyes and blue metal-like hair plates with the visor resemble the electric dragon's mouth.

The rest of the Witch Club were in awe when they saw the boys in their new ranger attires, which disappeared after they were given the powers of the Dragon Rangers, with the boys returning to their original outfits and their Morphers glowing and the Heart returning to Lee's neck. The Morphers, then, shapeshifted into bracelets with the elemental symbols on them.

"Done," said Faragonda. As soon as she said this, bright blue orbs appeared from the ceiling next to her and combined into a giant orb to reveal Wyatt Halliwell, the eldest son of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt. (A/N: Yes, Wyatt Halliwell from the original Charmed series. I also combined the orbing effects from the original series and the reboot because I thought both versions are amazing.)

"Hello, rangers," said Wyatt taking a small mock bow, "I am…,"

"Wyatt Halliwell," Lee spoke up, "You're the oldest descendent of the Charmed Ones."

Wyatt smiled at the 12-year-old boy and said, "Yes. I am also your new Whitelighter."

The others gave Lee a look since he did know a little about Magic.

"A Whitelighter is a guardian angel, usually for good witches and mortals that are meant to become Whitelighters when they die," Lee said, "Wyatt is also a half-witch."

"Woah," said Joshua in amazement.

"Yeah," said Wyatt.

"Wyatt will guide you through your journey to master your powers anytime you need help," said Saladin, "Just call out his name and he will be there."

"I also have something to give you," said Ms. Griffin, clapping her hands and causing the big book that unbound their powers to materialize in front of the group, "This is the Book of Shadows. This is full of powerful spells, potions, information, and other magical notes that will help you along the way. It also has Winx's past experiences."

"Okay, children," said Ms. Faragonda, "I wouldn't want you all falling asleep in class on your first day of school."

And with that the Winx, their kids, and the Witch Club left the room with the Witches' Council looking off in the distance as Wyatt orbed out of the room.

The next day, the freshman Witch Club kids enter their first classroom at Alfea, which is Winxology with the Winx. While the Witch Club sat in the back, Lee decided to sit up front with some other friends. One of the friends was Justin Caldwell. He had pale skin, short black hair, and sky blue eyes hidden behind black thick-rimmed glasses. He wore a green and violet shirt with black skinny jeans. He was barefoot.

"How've you been," said the black-haired boy.

"I've been okay, Justin," said Lee, "It's great to see you."

"Likewise," said Justin. Matthew had learned how to telepathically communicate to the other members without needing to touch them so they can all talk in private.

Alongside Justin was a young Asian boy with tan skin, short black hair, and brown eyes hidden behind black thick-rimmed glasses. He wore a red t-shirt with white long sleeves, denim jeans, and black Chaco sandals with blue straps. He was Joshua King. He and Lee waved at each other.

Just then, three boys walked in. One of them was obviously the leader of the pack. He had blonde hair, brown eyes, and fair skin, as well as a somewhat snooty attitude. The other two, who were obviously the followers, had blonde hair as well, but green eyes. They obviously looked like mean boys as some of the other students were scared off them.

"Who are they," asked Lee whispered to Justin.

"Those are the Whisperians," (1) answered Justin unaware that Lee was hooked up mentally to Matt and the others, "Calvin's the leader of the pack."

"Yeah, man," said Joshua K., "If you wanna survive in this school, stay away from them."

"Are they that bad?" asked Lee.

"Worse," said Brenton, having broken through Matt's psychic link, "If they start bothering you, let me know."

"I'll remember that," replied Lee as Matt cut off the link.

"Welcome, everyone," said Bloom, "We are the Winx; though…some of you might know that already. Well, welcome to a very special course known as Winxology." The Winx, like always, began the course by demonstrating their powers and skills in their own special way. Bloom summoned her Dragon's Flame, Stella released a ball of sunlight in the room, Tecna created holograms, Flora conjured a rose on Karsyn's head, Musa used her magic to create music in the room (this music being the song the Witch Club kids played on the bus last chapter), and Aisha danced like she always did in order to show that magic isn't always there when in danger. All of the students clapped, except for Calvin and his group, who weren't impressed.

"Whatever," Calvin muttered under his breath.

"Now, normally, we would do an obstacle course to show you 'A day in the life of the Winx' and what our duties are like as Guardian Fairies of the Magic Dimension. But this time we'd like for all of you to demonstrate your powers," said Tecna, "Lee, why don't you go first."

Lee stepped up and as Aisha made a target completely out of Morphix. Lee took a deep breath and fired a lightning bolt from his hand. The students, excluding Calvin and his group, clapped for the child as he sat down in his chair, Justin gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"Taylor," called Aisha, "You're up."

As Taylor walked forward, Aisha created a glass of water. When Taylor stepped in the center of the room, Taylor pointed his hand at the glass and caused water to rise from the glass. The class was in awe until Calvin used his magic to have it spray Taylor.

"Hey," shouted Taylor as the water sprayed him. Aisha stopped it and turned to Calvin with a disapproving look on her face.

"Calvin, do that again and you will get detention for the rest of the month," scolded Aisha, Calvin just scoffed. Bloom dried Taylor off and the blonde boy went back to his seat, glaring at Calvin, who was laughing.

"Okay," said Tecna, "Before this gets any worse, Joshua, step forward."

With that, Joshua walked up to the front of the class while at the same time giving Calvin a death glare in the process. Joshua stood up and went to the center of the class. He then blew a gust of wind at the class like a fan, though Calvin just blocked it with a book. Karsyn just looked at Calvin with a disgusted look and whispered to Matt, "Something tells me this is going to be a long day."

"No kiddin'," replied Matt as Joshua came back to his seat.

The rest of the classes went rather smoothly, though of course, Calvin was always there to cause problems. Later that day, the freshmen met up with the sophomore and junior members in order to pick out some instruments, since they didn't bring their own instruments from home. They went to the music café, where they had all kinds of instruments for them. That evening in the dormitories, Lee was being walked back to his dorm by another friend, James Ryan. James was a tall boy with pale skin, shaved blond hair, and blue eyes. He wore a black t-shirt under a gray jacket, black jeans, and black high top sneakers with white ankle socks.

"So, how exactly do I deal with Calvin?" Lee asked James.

"Just try to avoid him, Ricky, and Jack at all costs," said James, giving Lee a one armed hug.

"And if I can't?"

"Just go to one of the teachers."

"Anyway, so you have musical abilities?"

"Yep. Really cool, huh?"

"I'll say," said Lee as they finally stopped at the dorms.

"Here's your room, little buddy," said James, "I'm in Apartment 100 if you need me."

"Thanks, James," said Lee as the two boys hugged.

"Love ya," said James.

"Love you, too," replied Lee as the two released each other from their embrace.

Lee entered his room and James entered his. The other rangers were waiting for him, smiling.

"So, you've been with James again," asked Matt jokingly.

"And what if I was?" asked Lee, "We just talked."

"Come on," said Matt, "You know that y'all two are as close as close can be."

"No comment," said Lee, rolling his eyes. He later sat down with the others to study the book of shadows.

The next day, at breakfast, the Witch Club sat with Brandon, Grant, Brian, Skyler, Justin, Joshua K, James, and four other boys.

One of them was Joel Wallis, he had pale skin, short curly dark brown hair, and ice blue eyes hidden behind black thin-rimmed glasses. He wore a black t-shirt under a black jacket, gray jeans, and black flip flops.

The second boy was Jackson Hill. He was a tall, lanky boy with pale skin, brown hair, and brown eyes hidden behind black sunglasses. He wore a white t-shirt with black and blue stripes, black shorts, black ankle socks, and black vans.

The third one was Josh Roberts. He had fair skin, short brown hair hidden under a gray cap with a dark blue bill, and blue eyes hidden behind black glasses. He wore a gray long-sleeved shirt under a violet and blue plaid short-sleeved vest, denim jeans, and black slide sandals with white straps.

The final boy was Will Jackson. He was a tall boy with pale skin, shaven brown hair, and blue eyes hidden behind black glasses. He wore a pastel green polo shirt, denim jeans, and brown flip flops.

"Do you guys think you can give us some tips on how to avoid Calvin?" asked Fernando.

"Actually, Calvin's not the only problem," said Joel, "There's also that nosy Gerome."

"Who's Gerome?" asked Taylor.

"He's the school gossip," replied Jackson, "His nickname is Mr. Information." (A/N: Gerome is actually based on Gigi Rueda, a.k.a. Miss Information from Every Witch Way. And I didn't say this before but Calvin and the Whisperians are also based off Maddie Van Pelt, Katie Rice, and Sophie Johnson from Every Witch Way.)

"Yeah, that dude's got the most read blog on the Alfea website," said Andishaeh as he discreetly used his magic to summon a screen with the website on it. Just then, a boy with brown hair and brown eyes entered the Ballroom.

"Speak of the devil," said Justin, pointing at the boy, whom the freshmen guessed was Gerome, who was roaming around with a camera phone looking for someone.

"Calvin," said Gerome as he walked in pushed the shorter blonde aside and put his camera-like phone in Calvin's face and asked, "What do you think of my latest poll?"

"Which poll?" said Calvin, annoyed, which annoyed the Witch Club freshmen to the core.

"About you being the meanest boy in school," replied Gerome, "55% said yes." Calvin gasped when he heard this and ultimately looked towards the Witch Club and their friends as Lee hid the crystal.

"We'd better be extremely careful around that creep," said Matt to Taylor telepathically.

"I heard that," replied Taylor.

"Attention, students," said Bloom, "As in the tradition among the Magix schools, the annual back to school dance in honor of our new students will be held tonight. Students from the Alfea College for Fairies, the Red Fountain College for Specials, and the Cloud Tower College for Witches will gather here in our castle to perform the traditional welcome gift exchange ceremony. After that, a concert will be held by the Witch Club who will perform a song of their choosing."

"Looks like everybody's heard about your band," said Justin.

"One more thing," said Bloom, "I'm calling on all your creative minds to turn this cafeteria into a festive ballroom. Oh, but I must warn you, be careful. The witches usually tend to pull pranks. But, anyway, today's classes are cancelled. Get to work and make us proud."

Later, at the Cloud Tower College for Witches, the new headmistress, Lucy, is giving the same announcement to her students. As soon as she's finished the Jinx boys have a conversation amongst themselves. Lucy had her hair a messy bun and she wore a dark violet ankle length corset dress with gray translucent sleeves, black tights, and dark violet pumps.

"I see this as a perfect opportunity to steal the Heart of Magix," said Erebus.

"Why not?" said Edur.

"Dude, we'd just be wasting time," said Molan, "Besides we have to ruin their party remember?"

"Don't worry," said Edur, "We'll kill two birds with one stone."

Meanwhile, the kids were practicing a song they picked for the concert with the Winx's descendents as their audience. Of course, it was a Jem and the Holograms song. Lee was singing the song through a pink microphone; Joshua and Fernando were both blowing through trumpets; Taylor and Matt were playing blue and red drums, respectively; Phillip was blowing on a French horn; Remi and Keehly were playing two electric keyboards – Remi's was green and Keehly's was a black synthesizer; Abby was blowing an alto sax; Karsyn was blowing a flute; Josh was playing a navy blue keytar; Andishaeh was blowing on a black bassoon; Ben, Kendal, and Gage were blowing through sousaphones; Shelby was playing a cello while at the same time singing in a silver microphone; Clay was playing a lime green bass guitar; and Jay was playing a gold colored electric guitar while singing in a gold-colored microphone.

"Alright, guys, let's take five," said Jay. Phillip used his telekinetic powers to put up some more decorations and put the other instruments away as he and the other members shouted, "Thank you, five!"

"Why don't we just go and get dressed for the party?" said Karsyn.

"Good idea, but one problem," said Lee, "We don't have anything formal to wear."

"Yeah," said Joshua, "If we knew in advance, we would've had some outfits already."

"Plus, we ain't got no money," said Matt, "So we can't buy 'em."

"Don't worry, guys," said Zoran, "The Solarian twins have gotcha covered. Our mom has a chain of boutiques all across the Magic Dimension."

"And she owns one here in town," said Candra.

"I didn't know Stella had a boutique," said Karsyn.

"She does," said Zoran, "And she can make some outfits for all eighteen of you."

Later, the Witch Club were with the twins in the Magix and were taken to an orange building with the words Stella Couture Boutique. When they enter, they see a line of students headed towards a yellow door. The Witch Club got in the line and thankfully it wasn't that long, and they reached the inside of Stella's room in no time.

"Hey, guys," said Stella, "Need new outfits for the ball?"

"Yes, please," said the kids in unison. Stella called Lee up first, since he was the youngest. She had a lot of ideas in her head for Lee. Finally, she pointed her finger at the small dark skinned boy and his body was covered in yellow light. Soon, Lee sees himself wearing a new outfit. He was wearing a white button down t-shirt, orchid elbow length gloves, pink jeans with a salmon belt, and pink dress shoes.

"Wow," said Lee, "These are amazing. Thank you, your majesty." Stella nodded and turned her attention to Taylor, who was next to walk up. With gold sparkles circling him, he appeared in a very fancy outfit. He was wearing an aquamarine long-sleeved shirt with sea green designs on it, blue pants, a sea green belt, and blue sneakers with blue accents.

"Cool," said Taylor as he stepped down to let Joshua come up. After Stella blasted him with her spell, his outfit changed into a yellow short-sleeved dress shirt under a gold vest, gold dress pants, and yellow gladiator sandals.

"Nice," said Joshua as he let Abby walk up. Abby was blasted by the sparkles and saw that she looked very different. Her hair was done up in a bun. She wore a magenta floor-length corset dress with fuchsia trimming on the top and a belt of the same color. She wore rose gold bracelets on her arms. She, then, lifted her skirt to reveal magenta pumps.

"I love it," said Abby as Shelby walked up for her turn. Stella shot sparkles towards her way and she emerged with a different look. Her hair became slightly curly and wavy and she was wearing a silver floor length corset dress with gray trimming under the top, and a gold leaf bracelet on one of her arms. She revealed silver pumps after she lifted up her skirt.

"Awesome," said Shelby as she left her spot so Phillip can have a turn. Stella shot her sparkles at him and he emerged in a new outfit. He was now sporting a green button down shirt, blue jeans with a green belt, and his feet were now in green lace up vans with white ankle socks. His pants also had an orchid-colored floral design running down the legs.

"I like this," said Phillip as he was replaced by Gage. He was shot with Stella's magic as his outfit began to change. Gage was wearing a white fedora with a gray stripe, a white button up t-shirt under a black vest, black pants, white ankle socks, and black dress shoes.

"So cool," said Gage as he walked off to let Keehly take the stand. Stella's golden sparkles swirled around Keehly until the spell took full effect. Her hair became more wavy and less curly and purple eyeshadow. Her attire was an asparagus green corset dress with a lime green frilly skirt, a green bracelet, and asparagus green kitty heels.

"Classy," said Keehly as she walked off to give Fernando his turn. Stella's sparkles took full effect on his clothes as they began to change. His tank top was changed into a red button down shirt under a black vest, his shorts were replaced by black jeans, and his flip flops were replaced by maroon dress socks and black dress shoes.

"Too cool," said Fernando as he posed and finally walked off the stage to let Karsyn take his place. Karsyn became encased by the sparkles as her outfit changed. Her clothes became a green floor length halter dress. She also gained a teal headband and sea green bracelets. The shoes she was wearing under the dress were green strappy heels.

"Groovy," said Karsyn as she stepped down to let Matt take her spot. Stella gave him an orange cowboy hat with red trimming. His clothes were changed to a red button down shirt with orange flames, blue jeans, and his sandals were changed to orange cowboy boots. This made him extremely happy since this helped him fit in his roots.

"Why, thank ya kindly, ma'am," said Matt in his Southern drawl. She and the rest of the group laughed at the gesture as he stepped off and let Remi walk up. As soon as Remi was blasted, he was wearing a very formal outfit, sans shoes. He was wearing a green button down shirt over a red vest and purple tie and purple jeans. On his bare feet, he was given a pair of green barefoot sandals.

"Thanks, Stella," said Remi as he walked back off and let Andishaeh take his spot. Stella made sure to give him a very nice outfit. His shirt was replaced by a purple button down shirt and his pants were replaced with red pants. His sandals were replaced with purple barefoot sandals.

"Very cool, your majesty," said Andishaeh gratefully as he walked off the stage to give Ben a go. Stella gave Ben a very snazzy outfit. His shirt was replaced with a black button down shirt with gray trimming, white pants with green trimming, and black converse. He was also wearing a black jacket with gray trimming.

"Very snazzy," said Ben as he let Josh take his turn. Stella shot her magic at him and his outfit looked very cool. His dress shirt was navy under a navy jacket, his pants were navy with crimson trimming on the hem and waist, and his shoes were navy dress shoes.

"Hot," said Josh as he walked off the marker and let Kendal take his spot. Stella magically dressed in a white dress shirt under an orange vest and an orange tie, orange dress pants, orange dress shoes.

"Nice," said Kendal as he was replaced by Clay. With the help of Stella's magic, his outfit changed into a lime green button down shirt with a blue tie with white stars, lime green pants, and on his feet were lime green dress shoes.

"Groovy," said Clay as he let Jay take the last spot. With a touch of magic, Stella shot her spell at Jay and he emerged wearing a black dress shirt with a gold tie under a gold vest, black jeans, a black jacket, and gold dress shoes.

"Awesome," said Jay as he and the others thanked Stella and left to rehearse some more before the event.

Back at the Cloud Tower College for Witches and Wizards, the Jinx boys were having a conversation with Alchemy.

"I don't see why not," said Alchemy, "But you must not let them see you leave."

"Don't worry, your majesty," said Molan, "We'll find a way."

"And as soon as we gain the Heart of Magix, ultimate power will be yours," said Edur.

"In the meantime, just focus on the search for your brother," said Erebus, "We'll get the crystal for you."

"And while we're at it," said Molan, "We'll destroy the fairies and any of the Alfea students if they get in the way."

Back at Alfea, a Red Fountain aircraft arrived, and the students were waiting, especially the Witch Club. Young men and women exited the ship wearing yellow and blue bodysuits with blue capes that are held by colored jewels on the left sides of the chests. The Cloud Tower students also exit the crafts wearing dark clothing.

"Welcome, Specialists and Witches, to Alfea," said Bloom as Helia and Codatorta exited their craft with Lucy and her staff. Helia had his long hair in a ponytail and wore a red wizard's robe with white pants and orange ankle boots.

"I keep telling you, Bloom," said Lucy, "Fairies and Witches don't mix. Ms. Griffin said."

"Oh relax, Lucy," said Bloom, "Some of these fairies and witches are from the same town and planet." They witness this as they see a young boy with curly brown hair and blue eyes approach Lee and give him a hug.

"Who's that boy," asked Bloom.

"Brandon White," answered Lucy, "One of my students. She can turn emotions like Mirta. I take it that the boy he's hugging is one of the Rangers."

"He is," said Bloom, "Lee is the new bearer of the Heart of Magix."

"He and his group will need the full power of the Dragons to face off against Princess Alchemy if they ever meet her," said Helia.

"I agree, but I'm sure that they can handle her," Bloom as the Witch Club and the other fairies entered the Alfea with the specialists and witches. The Jinx boys were the last to exit, though they weren't going to enter.

"Come on, little brothers," said Edur, "Let's do this."

In the ballroom, the Witch Club kids were hanging out with their friends before getting ready for the party. Lee was talking to a tall, young man with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Although he looked formal enough, his bare feet were in rope sandals.

"So, do you like Alfea so far?" asked the young man.

"You bet, Johnny," answered Lee, "I'm just a little nervous about the performance, that's all."

"Yeah, but I know you'll do great, what you should really worry about is the Cloud Tower students," replied Johnny, "Especially those warlocks who jumped you and your friends in the alley."

"Yeah, I've already heard of their tendencies to pull pranks at social gatherings."

"Even more so than you think," said a voice and they turned to see another boy who had fair skin, blond hair, and blue eyes hidden behind black thin-rimmed glasses. Lee was excited to see him as the boy pulled Lee into a hug.

"Nice to see you again, little brother," said Ryne Beck as he sat with Lee and Johnny, another boy came up with Justin and Joshua K., and hugged Lee while at the same time, drumming on his back.

"Yo, Ethan, Justin, Joshua," said Ryne, "What's up?"

"We're just excited about the performance," replied Ethan Young, "You're going to do great, Lee."

"Thanks," Lee said as he got up from the seat and went backstage to rehearse.

Meanwhile, the Jinx were in the hallway looking for the gifts in order to pull a fast one on the students. They also wore different outfits, almost like jumpsuits. (A/N: Before some of you start speculating, I'm about to tell you right now that the three brothers are also based on the Trix.)

Edur was wearing a navy blue short-sleeved jumpsuit with a royal blue cape, navy blue gauntlets on his arms, and dark blue knee boots that exposed his toes. He also wears a white belt with a diamond as a buckle.

Erebus was in a violet quarter-sleeved jumpsuit, lavender gloves, and violet ankle boots. He also wears a white belt with a circle as a buckle.

Molan wore a maroon tank-top styled bodysuit and maroon colored gauntlets on his hands. He also wears a white belt with a lightning bolt as a buckle. Unlike his brothers, his feet are bare.

They were so busy looking that they didn't even notice that Will and Josh R. walking around in the hallways trying to get to the ballroom. They were dressed formally, though they both were wearing sandals.

"Come on, Josh," said Will, "We are so late."

"Relax, Will," said Josh, "I'm coming. Sheesh." Just then, Josh stopped.

"Dude, what the heck are you…?" said Will until Josh shushed him.

"Listen," he said. They heard faint voices and ducked behind a corridor and saw the three warlocks

"Those must be the ones that jumped the Witch Club in the alley," whispered Josh.

"How can you be sure?" asked Will.

"Just a hunch."

"We have to find that crystal," said Molan.

"Allow me," said Erebus as he conjured a screen from black smoke and Lee appeared in it, wearing the Heart of Magix around his neck.

"The child," said Edur, "He still has it." The three continued to roam the halls until they found the chest full of the gifts.

"Okay, now it's my turn," said Molan as he blasted the chest open to reveal baby dragon eggs.

"Aww, look," Erebus cooed sarcastically, "Little baby dragon eggs."

"How old school," said Edur, "Let's make something more dreadful." The three boys, then summoned an evil triquetra over the chest and transformed the eggs, making more sinister versions. Josh and Will were in shock.

"We gotta warn 'em," said Will as he and Josh hurried to the ballroom.

Meanwhile, back in the ballroom, the Witch Club was getting ready to perform after the gift ceremony when Bloom rushed in with Josh R. and Will. Josh R. quickly hugged Lee as Bloom explained the situation to the boys along with Helia and Lucy.

"The snake rats," whispered Lee.

"So, you do know about that stunt?" asked Lucy in awe.

"I know the spell, but we've gotta do it before they get here."

"Too late," said Joshua Calloway, "Look." They saw the chest and were in shock.

"We have to do the spell together," said Lee as he and the other Witch Club kids gathered around in a circle.

"What it once was, let it be again. What it once was, let it be again. What it once was, let it be again. What it once was, let it be again!"

As soon as Lee chanted the spell, a burst of magic was sent to the eggs, reverting them back into their true forms. They all were exhausted from the spell but recovered quickly in time to perform. The Jinx, however, were steaming with anger and rage.

"How dare those little fairies counter spell us," steamed Edur.

"Let's get them," said Molan.

"And those boys that warned them," said Erebus, still steaming, "I still can't believe we didn't know they were there."

"Forget them for right now," said Edur, "As soon as we get our hands the Heart of Magix, we'll get them all back!"

Meanwhile, back in the ballroom, the Witch Club were performing a favorite from Jem and the Holograms.

Music and Danse!) (1)

The crowd went wild as the group finally got off stage and were given their eggs. Something was a little different about the eggs given to the rangers, though. Unlike the others that were gold with a darker gold stripe, these were uniquely colored and designed differently. Matt's egg was red and was decorated with orange flames; Phillip's was green and was covered with brown diamonds; Joshua's was yellow and was decorated with violet squiggly lines, symbolizing wind; Taylor's was blue covered with sea green wiggly lines, symbolizing water; and Lee's was pink with a white lightning bolt across it. The Witch Club kids went backstage in order to see what the eggs meant when they ran into Saladin.

"Dragon Rangers," said Saladin, surprising the group, "Those eggs contain your Dragon Zords. Once they are hatched, you will be able to take care of them until they become adult dragons and then, they'll finally head to their hiding places that were chosen for them."

Saladin, then, conjured a table from a blast of white energy. On the table was a white star with a symbol for the elements on each point. One the first point was a red flame; on the second point was a green rose; on the third point was a yellow tornado; on the fourth point was a blue bubble; and on the final point was a pink lightning bolt. The five rangers placed their eggs on the symbol and the Heart of Magix left Lee's neck, glowing brightly and letting loose a burst of energy onto the eggs, causing them to hatch. As they did, the Morphers began to glow along with the crystal.

The crystal and the Morphers stopped glowing and the eggs hatched to reveal five mechanical baby dragons. The Fire Dragonzord was red and orange; the Earth Dragonzord was green and brown; the Air Dragonzord was yellow and white; the Water Dragonzord was blue and sea green; and the Æther Dragonzord was pink and white. The kids were amazed, but when the crystal went to return to Lee, it became encased in white, black, lavender energy and began levitating away.

"Where's it going," asked Joshua.

"I don't know, but I'm going to find out," said Lee as he raced off after the crystal, Jay followed in pursuit, followed by Joel, Josh K., and Justin. Meanwhile, the Jinx were waiting in the courtyard for the Heart of Magix (A/N: I might've already given away the fact that they were the ones who used the spell). As soon as the five fairies reached it, they cast a spell to counter the Jinx's spell and the Heart returned to Lee like it was supposed to. The Jinx were peeved. Jay tied the Heart back around Lee's neck and got out some fireballs.

"Come out, Jinx," shouted Jay, "We know you're here." Just then, the Jinx jumped out of some trees they were hiding behind. Jay finally put down his fireballs as they were confronted. Jay gave Lee the signal to let him know that it was time to transform. He, then, gave the signal to their friends.

"Magic Winx!"

The boys all transformed into their fairy forms and were ready to attack.

Justin wore a sparkling purple t-shirt with sparkling purple shorts and purple ankle boots that exposed his toes. For an accessory, he wore his usual glasses as well as a necklace with a green treble clef charm on it and his wings were lavender and shaped like bass clefs.

Joshua K. wore a sparkling white t-shirt, sparkling white shorts, and white ankle boots. Like Justin, he wears his usual black glasses and a necklace with blue drumsticks shaped like an 'X' and his wings were blue and shaped like eighth notes.

Joel wore a black t-shirt, black shorts, and black ankle boots. He also wore gray gauntlets and had gray wings shaped like lightning bolts.

"So, you got some back up," said Edur, "Big deal. You still have no chance against us."

"Wanna bet?" said Joel confidently as he fired an electric based spell from his right arm. It hit Molan square in the chest and knocked him down, he got to his feet and summoned storm clouds to attack the fairies. Jay created a barrier made of fire that burned the clouds, causing them to explode. Edur, then threw an ice spell at Jay and attempted to freeze the group but the flames just melted the ice when they contacted the shield.

"Now who ain't got no chance," shouted Justin.

"Come on, let's not get cocky," said Josh K., "We haven't won yet."

"We can't let them get the Heart," said Lee as he fired his own lightning bolts at the three warlocks.

"Is that all you got, little boy?" asked Molan arrogantly, "Let me show you some real lightning." Molan, then summoned a bolt fuchsia colored lightning and aimed it straight at Lee. However, Lee quickly redirected it towards Erebus, shooting him and knocking him out. (2)

Josh and Justin fired green and blue music notes respectively at Molan, who was dodging and weaving. Molan, then shot a lightning bolt at the two boys but Lee ultimately froze it. When he tried to freeze Molan and Edur however he remembered that some beings couldn't be frozen. Lee and Joel, then shot a combined lightning bolt at Molan, knocking him out. Now it was only Edur left.

"Let me deal with him," said Jay as he flew in front of the fairies and summoned some red flames that surrounded his body.

"Oh man," said Edur in fear as Jay became fully charged.

"Phoenix Fury," cried Jay as he fired a beam of flames that hit Edur straight in the chest and knocked him off his feet and onto the ground. The Jinx recovered but were too weak to get up. (2)

"This isn't over yet," said Edur as he and his brothers blinked away, "We'll be back!" Jay fell to his knees weakened as he, Justin, Joshua K., Joel, and Lee transformed back to normal. Lee ran over to Jay to see the damage as the weakened young man turned back into his human form.

"Are you okay," asked Lee, worried about his older friend.

"Don't worry, little brother," said Jay, "I'm fine." Lee hugged Jay tightly and the latter returned the hug.

"Wyatt!" Lee called and Wyatt suddenly orbed beside him, leaned over Jay, and used his Whitelighter power to heal him.

"How does that feel," asked Wyatt.

"A lot better," said Jay getting to his feet, "Thanks." Wyatt smiled and then turned to Lee.

"What about the rest of you," he asked the small boy.

"We're fine," said Lee. Wyatt, then, helped Jay to his feet and the six boys walked back to the ballroom.

In the ballroom, Lee was still thinking about what Alchemy could possibly want with the crystal. He was starting to wonder if maybe what Brenton said about the crystal was a myth after all.

"Are you okay?" asked James as he sat next to Lee.

"Yeah, I'm just thinking," Lee replied as he leaned into James's embrace.

"Hey, little brother," called Jay, "Time for an encore!"

"Guess I have to go," said Lee as he hugged James.

"Break a leg," said James, "Love ya."

"Love you, too." replied Lee as he left for the stage.

Meanwhile, the Jinx were cooling their wounds back at Cloud Tower still angered by their defeat.

"We'll get our revenge," said Edur, "And we will get the Heart of Magix! Just you wait."

Oh boy, sounds like the Jinx aren't going to give up until they get that crystal. Hopefully, the Witch Club will find out what Alchemy wants from it soon enough. Let's just hope that they can handle this. Until next time, this is yellowwinx8 signing off.

The song Music and Danse is a song from Jem and the Holograms, one of my personal favorites.

The lightning redirection part was something I got from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Phoenix Fury was actually based off of Dragon Fury from Winx Club.
